Got ripped off and the pizza wasn't even good. Got charged $40.00 for a 15" pizza because I asked for half margarita and half build my own (which consisted of 4 vegetables - no meat) App this was told to me at time of ordering that they would charge full price of 2 pizzas. I did not understand this and definitely was not explained accurately or I would never have agreed to this - WHO in their right mind would?!!!!! I am furious that a pizza restaurant would do this to paying customers. The pizza was soggy and the box soaked and when you picked a slice up, all the cheese slid off. NEVER AGAIN will I order from here - RIPPED OFF.

In their defence it was Sunday at 3pm when we visited. Nevertheless this is my review for my specific visit. The place was empty and it seemed like the staff was not expecting anyone to show up and perhaps a little disappointed that we ruined their break time. At least thats the impression i felt from suttle body language. Ordered pizza, spaghetti with meatballs and a burger. Pizza tasted good but a little oily. Spaghetti was not fresh and the burger.... ok.. its not a burger joint, but i didn't like it at all.

Pizza was great (we had the Hot one it was excellent!) and some beers on our first visit to Peppinos. Service was fantastic to start with until our server went home and the brunette who took over from her didnt bother coming over to us again all night, we had to ask for service each time we wanted something. There were only 3 tables in the place she was just too busy chatting with the kitchen staff, so eventually we just gave up and went home - she then tried to overcharge us for the drinks, thankfully we noticed. Shame to end our time there on a sour-note but overall it was good and i'll go back as its local. [Upper Glen Abbey]

Foods okay, but absolutely awful management. The owner can be heard scream, cussing and belittling his staff through out the entire restaurant with no regard to the customers or children who can hear it. He also trys to cook the pizzas some nights (which I should add taste a lot worse when he does) and he is literally dripping in sweat. It is repulsive. Would not recommend, definitely can find equal and or better food in Oakville from someone who is respectful of others.

A little gem of an Italian restaurant in the perfect location that is frustratingly incapable of offering a consistent dining experience. Some days the food is good, the service is bad. Other days the food is bad, the service is good. Today the food was bad, the service was bad, and the owner simply did not care when I complained to him about the negative experience. He defended his inexperienced server and joked about 3 out of our 4 orders being wrong. We are regular customers, but will look for another local that puts more effort into the quality of the food, the quality of the service, and one that acts like it cares what its customers think about their dining experience.

The honest truth is that the owner is the issue...does not seem to appreciate customers. There was an incident with about 8 of us a couple of years ago...Having said that..the pizza is very good and after boycotting the place for over a year we have eaten in and also ordered out. New to the area, and Peppino's is so close. Exceptional service every time we go, regardless of who is serving us, whether we dine in or take out. Every staff member we've dealt with is eager to please and seem legitimately happy in doing so. By no means are their pizzas cheap, BUT after you try it once, you understand why. No chain pizza joint can even dare to compare. Whoever owns this place is running all aspects of it, from the customers point of view anyways, perfectly. Just wish they delivered, even if just a few blocks radius- if they did that I would give it 5 stars.

A HIDDEN GEM!!! This place is a must try! Everything from the wings to the salads are amazing! We had the Pepino’s salad, a 10” pizza, wings and calamari! All were fantastic! The salad was the most surprising! When you get it, it looks like a regular salad! When you try it the flavour explosion that happens in your mouth is unbelievable!

I just had to edit my review from great to pretty low. to be honest, I'm floored by how they just treated us last night ...after being there from the very start, many visits and supporting this place- I have to now agree with most of the reviews.....poor service and the owner just does not care. Food was cold, waitress rude and when I tired to resolve the issue, the owner refused to talk to me, even after I explained we had been going there literally since the first day it opened. wow, anyway, eat here at your own risk..I'm sad to see the only restaurant within walking distance from our home end up like this.

The service is ridiculously slow. I went with my friends for a beer, sat at the bar and the bartender told us she would be with us in a minute. 15 minutes later no one was helping us and we had to leave. It is a shame, it is a nice place, but the service is killing it.

Its not bad. The environment is a bit like a bar/Italian-American restaurant mix. They serve pizza, pasta, sandwiches and some salads. The pizza was ok, a bit too salty - ordered two different ones. If you're looking for a large meal - one 15" will be enough for two people.

We ordered two pizzas from Peppino's on a Friday for Movie Night. Once we started eating the pizza we noticed that it had a very burned taste. When we flipped the pizzas over they were both extremely burned. We gave up on the pizzas and called the restaurant to let them know that they had sent burned pizzas to us. The manager was extremely rude and defensive and accused us of trying to get free pizza. She then went on to insist that we send her pictures as proof. We sent her the pictures which clearly showed that they were burned. She then went on to make it out as if she was doing us a favor by offering restaurant credit for the pizzas. We politely declined on the count of her disrespectful behaviour and inaptitude at dealing with customers. We wanted to support our local stores, but needless to say, we will not be ordering from Peppinos ever again.

Firstly. The server was lovely. The stars are for her. The food here is very over-priced and the quality and quantity is average. A ‘side of French fries’ is $8. The mains like burger or sandwich do not come with fries or salad. You have to pay extra for those. Anywhere else we have gone to in Oakville a burger or wrap has always come with fries as part of the price. We had stuffed cherry peppers as a starter for $13. There were 3 peppers in the tiny dish!!. I had the mini slider burgers. They were basically a meatball in each roll. No attempts to even make it look like a flat burger. The chicken pesto pizza was very bland. Have to say we were very disappointed. We don’t eat out much, maybe once a month. Unfortunately we are not going to come back here. Shame, as it has a nice feel when you walk in and as I said, the server was nice to talk to.

The food was good. Service courteous. Parking convenient. There seems however to be an issue with cleanliness. The place can make use of a wash down. Dust accumulations are visible on anything above a persons height. Also, the place can use couple of Bug Zappers. A fly just chunked off part of the pleasant overall experience. In summary, kids loved it, we'll be back but hope they address the two issues above.

Absolutely fantastic place to eat! The customer service was exceptional! The food is delicious! We had pizza, the crust was perfect and baked in a stone oven! The toppings were fresh and I loved the pepperoni because it had a kick to it! Not too spicy but noticeable! We also had a chicken wrap which sounds ordinary but was surprisingly super delicious! Caesar salad was great with real bacon bits, seemed like homemade croutons, dressing was delicious! We had a group of 20 people and all of our food was served hot and at the same time! Definitely going to go back here!

I went to Peppino's on Sunday night and was in the mood for a pizza , I typically order from one of the larger chains but have gotten fed up with there delivery charges that actually do not go to the driver. I went in and ordered a 15 inch pepperoni, bacon and onion. It was absolutely awesome , great pepperoni , real pieces of bacon and the cheese blend was like I remember as a kid back when every neighborhood had its own independent pizza place. High marks for a great pizza and it is now my go to Pizza place. Feels good to support the hard working independents.

Horrible Service! Terrible Food! Poor Management! We went and were treated poorly. So, I'm writing on behalf of the entire group. I never write reviews, but went out the way to write this one. I'm sure they will know who's food they screwed & didn't fix. I tried for more than a month to resolve this issue. They never fixed the problem, refused refund, and failed to offer replacement meal. I get furious every time I drive past. Do not go here. You will be sorry. I'm sure most of the positive reviews on here are from the same person. I wouldn't be surprised if it's from the staff.

Peppino's has been a monthly staple in our family for a long time. The pizza is a big hit, especially the potato, rosemary, and pepper one. My personal favourite though is the veal sandwich, and the wings are some of the best in town! When we used to dine-in prior to COVID, everyone was so friendly. My daughter used to call the owner "the pizza man" and he would always give her a piece of dough to play with. It made her day. Since COVID, we have found that they are very organized and do a great job at adhering to precautions. We hope that this pandemic ends soon, and businesses like Peppino's can go back to normal.

I had been wanting to go to this place for a long time based on a friend’s recommendation. I should say I wasn’t surprised nor disappointed. Restaurant met my expectation. Good ambiance, food was equally good; our server was excellent, very friendly and prices are reasonable. Our Bruschetta crust was very light and airy loaded with fresh tomatoes, onion, basil, olive oil and cheese. Our pizza Capricciosa was good. Probably not the great pizza I have ever eaten, good nevertheless. Maybe it’s the sauce (I am a fan of Stanislaus). Overall very good dining experience. Would like to go there again to try few other items on their menu.

Very good selection of food and well priced for families. The atmosphere is bar-like but family oriented, if that makes any sense. Casual and kid friendly. I usually order the Club Italian Style sandwich or one of their super delicious pizzas but wings and pasta appear to be favourites. I like that it serves great food that I can actually walk to in my neighbourhood!

Ok, so let me get this out of the way. The service is the worst I've ever experienced in my life. That being said, the decor, atmosphere and most importantly, the food... are absolutely fantastic. Add to that, the prices are very reasonable. I've gone here half a dozen times, and it baffles me how inept and lazy the servers are. The owner need to invest some time and money in good servers and then it would be a 5 star location for SURE.

NEVER AGAIN. Ok. It’s a Friday and we wanted to order in and wanted to keep it local. A terrible choice. It was supposed to take 20 minutes; it took 40. Which is fine but no explanation was offered. As waited to pick it up, only 2 customers came and went. One of them with our order. The waitress (blonde haired lady) ran out in the cold and stopped the other customer from leaving as that customer had our order. She said nothing to me. Still waiting. Finally, I checked in and she passed it to me. Cold food. Nachos w terrible Cheese Whiz instead of cheddar. Cold quesadillas. NEVER AGAIN.

Probably the best wings in Oakville, which is what I usually get! I like them extra saucy so I have to request that when I order. They also give you celery and carrots and dip no charge! The wings are a good deal...cheaper than their competition (House of Wings who are more expensive, plus they give no carrots, no celery, no dip and to be perfectly blunt the wings are not as good as Peppinos). Peppinos gives you the full wing experience and they are of high quality! I always get the Buffalo Butter, which are as good as any wings I've tasted! I usually do take out...place is packed...wings are never ready when I pick them up, but they are worth the wait!

I was excited to try Peppino's, due to a few friends who rave about the place. I went with my wife for dinner, and we were both disappointed. My pizza was like something from the frozen food section at the grocery store, and my wife's pasta was extremely bland. The food wasn't terrible, it's just that after having my expectations so high, the expensive mediocre meal we had was a big let down.

Twice now we've went in to get food and the prices are twice what they normally are when we get the bill. We've been coming for years and are very familiar with what the price should be. Not to mention all the signage, menus and online do not reflect what we have been charged. The owner's son that runs the place when questioned said "everything has increased" rudely, and walked away. Last time I checked that's a violation of their liquor license. They need to provide what's advertised. Be warned.

Most expensive! Had a 10 inch pizza with 3 generic items and it was $20! My bill for a lb of wings, small pizza and salad was over $50 and I left hungry! Will most definitely not go back.

Went 08.28.2021 had shawarma pizza, tasted like it had tzatziki sauce on it ... yuck. My partner had tortellini, there al dente and then there is chewy. Worst was I got a bee in my beer and because I was "just" past the halfway mark I was charged for a second beer. After I asked why I was charged the waitress gave me attitude till we left.
