It was a fairly good italian restaurant. i always try seafood pasta at italian restaurants as my kind of a personal benchmark - and it did quite well with plenty of seafood in the mix.

My wife and I were first time patrons at Pasquale`s and from the moment we entered we were greeted by the owner and made to feel comfortable. Our meal from the appetizers to the dessert did not disappoint. The owner also made his way to our table at the end of our dinner to ensure that we enjoyed our experience. That was a touch of class. One other key point to mention was that we never felt rushed to order and that our server Sebastian was very accommodating and professional. Our compliments to Pasquale and the fine establishment he has. We will definitely be returning.

We, David and I always enjoyed an incredible meal at Pats, however, my daughter and I went into enjoy a meal one evening. I was shocked at how the salmon had a strange taste to it. Yes I ate it anyway. Normally I would complain. However we had just given Pat some terrible private information. I felt bad complaining about my meal, I did eat as much as I could. My daughter's meal was very good as usual. We paid. Tipped our normal 20 %, and headed home after saying good night to Pat and the bartender. 2/3 hours later to my surprise, I was being taken to the hospital. Yes with food poisoning from the salmon. I just saw this site and decided I would mention this. Believe me when I say, my husband and I always enjoyed a fabulous meal there. I have not spoken about the meal to Pat or any of my friend's, as it was a one time thing. However, I haven't been back since. A little afraid I believe. Lori Crocker-Sapiano.

Over many visits, our meals have been consistently superb. The only challenge is deciding whether the service surpasses the food quality. It may, but rather than choosing, let me just say that upon entering Pasquale's, we enjoy warm VIP treatment, and upon leaving, a deep sense of satisfaction... an evening well spent. (And sometimes, if we have restrained ourselves, we walk away with a little bit of our generous entrees, to enjoy for lunch the next day!)

I would definitely suggest trying this trattoria. Owner is open and actively greeting guests. Wait staff is on top of everything. Eye contact will get you service immediately... Like I said wait staff are on their game. Seabass was de-boned properly and cooked perfectly... Veal was the type you wish multiplied as you ate it. Get the rapini on the side... You wont regret. Fifth star will be granted next time.. depending on desert selection update.

Our default Go to Restaurant No matter how many times we come to this place it never disappoints us. Probably one of the few authentic Italian places around the Oakville and MIssissauga Area. I enjoy the pizza very much and their seafood there is also very fresh which is rare to find. The pasta is always cooked to perfection! Our servers are always nice and very knowledgeable with the dishes which helps us alot when we are trying to decide on what to eat. I can't wait until our next date night at this restaurant. I would recommend this place to anybody that would be in the mood for some good old fashion Italian homemade cuisine.

Pasquale’s is that Great Neighbourhood restaurant. Locals call it their own but out of towners should give it a try. The staff is warm and friendly. Pat makes you feel right at home. The food is very good. It is a small restaurant so reservations are necessary especially on the weekend & Friday. The prices are fair. You will want to call your restaurant as well.

Blah! Not that impressed. Invited 3 colleagues for a business lunch. I was expecting to have my socks blown off. It was sustaining but uninspiring. Grilled calamari and shrimp was good (not rubbery), would have liekd a second shrimp, but....OK! The stracetella soup was a big disappointment. Warm at best, no taste what so ever. The egg was plentiful, appearance was spot on! Just no seasoning! Hmmmm,,,, Next course! I had the Fillet of Sole. The sole was done quite well but who puts penne in a tomato sauce on the same plate! I didn't ask for it. So I tried it! No clue how to make a simple tomato sauce! Couldn't eat a second penne (and I love penne!). This was confirmed my associate who did ask for the gnocchi. He could eat them do do the sauce. The Linguini Rapini looked like spaghetti (I was to embarrassed to ask if it was spaghetti). The bread was amazing! It may sound like i enjoy ripping into establishments, but I don't. I wait a long time to go here always wondering and reading great reviews. I was supposed to return for a dinner with good friends at the end of the month. I won't. Hard to find great Italian food... and it really is so easy to achieve!

Called last minute for a reservation and was accommodated quickly by the owner. Amazing and courteous customer service. The staff was attentive and friendly. The owner went out of his way to help my father in law down the stairs as he has a disability. So happy with the service and food is outstanding! 2 days ago We had previously gone to Pasquales and had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoying the food. Needless to say was very excited to celebrate my birthday there. Unfortunately we were gravely disappointed. Our waiter was unattentative almost to the point of being rude. Pasquale himself who always seems to make the rounds of the tables was really nowhere to be found. We had made reservations and asked for a table by the window. We had to wait for a table but not the one requested. They eventually moved us to the window table. The Siciliana salad was subpar - having had it before I was gravely disappointed. The eggplant parmesan was was soggy and once again not the usual we were accustomed to. Both veal dishes were fair. The worst part came when Pasquale came by cleared the dishes and said enjoy your wine and we will be back with a dessert menu. Next thing we know the waiter arrived with Tartufo with a candle stuck in it. Being a birthday celebration. We were never even offered a dessert menu. If we had we would have both ordered the Tiramsu. Especially not Tartufo. That being said I don't think Tartufo is even on the dessert menu. As an after thought our waiter asked if we would like a coffee or tea. All in all in made what was supposed to be a very special celebration a grave disappointment. I would be hard press to go back or to recommend to others. As I had once done very freely. Happy Birthday became an extremely unhappy event. There were a few other minor faux pas as far as serving and etiquette goes but at this point no use in rehashing them Truly disappointed. Need a Birthday redo. ????????????

Ok. Wife and I are looking for a great restaurant in downtown Oakville. All the great reviews impressed us. First time we went, didn't make a reservation, restuarant was all booked up. Tried again but this time made a reservation. . Walked in, food smelled awesome. great atmosphere. Server was attentive without being intrusive. He was awesome. I really wanted to to say the same about the food but I cannot. It was just standard Canadian Italian fare. Acceptable but nothing special.

I have been in many high end restaurants so I expected this one to be great . Very disappointed .. A group of ten of my family went to eat there based solely on reviews online. Yikes! Where do I begin? First of all, the owner Pat is a very gracious host. The food however is not what I would call traditional Italian. The gnocchi is shelf stable store bought, no eggs - not fresh. If you can’t make your own gnocchi just give up. The “sawdust” Parmesan we were offered on our pasta is something that should NEVER make it’s way through the doors of an Italian restaurant. The pasta (De Cecco dry pasta) was undercooked. No, I know what al dente is, this wasn’t that. The sauce tasted like it came from a jar. There was absolutely no effort on presentation. My veal had slices of raw tomato on it. The Caesar salad had a few small shavings of real Parmesan but also has the “sawdust” and what appeared to be store bought croutons and I can only assume bottled dressing. Is anything there made from scratch? Outrageously priced for the quality of food. And we will never return. Sorry Pat.

Pasquale's has been one of our favourite take out restaurants during the pandemic. Pasquale is always accommodating to our needs and makes sure everything is exactly as we ordered. The Grilled Calamari, Meatballs, Caprese salad are all delicious appetizers and our favourite entree's are Veal/Chicken Milanese, always perfect. We've also tried the Seafood Pasta, Gnooci and Papa's homemade Fettucini, all amazing. If you have a special food request will Pasquale will do his best to make it happen. The bread they send is delizioso. Can't wait to go back after the pandemic for the great service and with our good friends at the big round table:)

Based on the reviews, I decided to take my wife here for her milestone birthday dinner. Pasquale’s did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, service was excellent and the food quality was superb. The portions were nice, we ended up taking our leftovers home (which is something we rarely do). The owner was there to greet us and treated us incredibly warm and welcoming. We were passing by the area and decided to stop in for a drink and an early dinner and boy can I say this place lives up to the reviews. The owner was absolutely such a Pleasure to talk to our bartender was knowledgable and courteous always making sure we had everything we need and even finding us a spot when they were almost fully reserved. Incredible place will definitely be back. Veal parm was to die for and the antipasti for duo was huge and plentiful as well as delish.

I have visited this restaurant on 3 occasions for take-out during COVID lockdowns. The staff and owners offered impeccable service filled with generosity, kindness and thoughtfulness. I do not live in Oakville but visit here occasionally and have been unbelievably impressed. I can’t imagine a more service oriented restaurant. Food was delicious and a quality espresso to top off the experience. I highly recommend a visit !

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Oakville, no dare I say, in southern Ontario. Authentic lifestyle pasta and sugo. Fresh baked bread brought to you with Evoo. The grilled Calamari was perfect. My only objection is that they don't make pizzas. But if they did, it would be excellent as well.

Have eaten here a couple times, both were really good. Recently my wife and I wanted a date night, but the restaurant was full except for some seating at the bar. We took it since we really wanted to go, and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant can get loud when full, but sitting at the bar we could hear each other better, and just be closer as there was no table between us. The bartender was really friendly, and provided great menu recommendations to make evening perfect.

A good friend (A.J.) and family recommended this spot to us years ago, and it has been our special occasion go-to ever since. My son loves the gnocci, my daughter always asks for the steak - my wife and I try to never order the same thing twice and we have never been dissapointed. The Pasquale team always makes us feel special, and we've just had our (slightly delayed, sigh) annual New Years dinner. Take out is not the same as dine-in, but a Pasquale meal is memorable wherever you eat it....recommended for sure.

I attended a private function here. Penne alla vodka was excellent, tasty sauce and pasta was al dente. Second course was chicken breast, roast potatoes and veggies and a simple salad (iceberg lettuce & arugula served family style). All perfectly cooked and delicious. Service was excellent too. Also nice location in Oakville. Definitely recommend.

We have been picking up takeout every couple weeks and each time has been incredible. Superb quality and freshness. Our favourites are the fried calamari, gnocchi in rose sauce, chicken Marsala and seafood linguine. Delicious!

The service is getting worse and worse. They are really losing it. I was there for dinner and the waiter split an entire beer on me designated for another table. They handed me a towel and walked away. I was left with a soaking wet shirt for the rest of my dinner. Very bad.

Ordered 2 dishes for pickup Chicken marsala with rappini and linguine pescatore Chicken was generous and nicely cooked but marsala sauce was bland and hardly any mushrooms. Rappini was mostly tough stalks. The pescatore was served with spaghetti not linguine There were 2 shrimp, 2 pieces of calamari, no clams , mostly mussels in a bland tomato sauce. Disappointing.

Impressed. Service was impeccable. Just a simple meal of pastas and a salad, but beautifully prepared. Gnocchi was butter soft, fetuccini with shrimp, peas, etc was perfectly cooked. They split the salad, which we said we'd share, without asking. Even the bread and pill was high quality; dense bread, good quality oil and balsamic. Felt like they cared we had chosen to spend our money with them. Not cheap, the pastas were 20-25, but we felt it was worth it. We'll be back.

After having to come back after over 90 minutes to get a reservation, we are given the worst table in the restaurant! So dark we couldn't see the menu! Next to the wall in the kitchen path! The server had no manners and to top it off, I couldn't breath due to lack of air conditioning and air in the tight dark grungy area we were given. Needless to say it made me ill and we decided to go elsewhere!

Had the Rigatoni (olive oil, garlic, pepperoncino sausage, peas, asparagus). Perfect texture in the pasta (slight aldente) and the sauce was a good mix of sweet and spicy. Would definitely order again. Only complaint I would have is that the place was kinda loud. Had to really lean for some conversations. Would definitely recommend to try.

The Veal Marsala with Penne Noodles in a cream sauce (you seriously taste the butter in the cream sauce) and a cold Peroni for me. My lovely dinner partner had the lightest lasagna ever made. And the bar? Thy make a great cocktail (and the Peroni's are ice cold). As a New Yorker, Oakville and the GTA itself is littered with Italian fare. Pasquales is like eating in his home, you feel as if every dish was made just for you and no one else. The highly regimented staff operate like clockwork, you can tell the team is made of seasoned veterans who get it in a way even the most expensive restaurants simply dont. And the kitchen? The calimari looks as if it would float off the plate its so light and airy. Incredible food, incredible atmosphere. Timeless food.

The appetizing calamari and amazing entrée of salmon ai ferri was a delightful experience and sensational dish served to perfection. The restaurant servers are knowledgable and certified sommeliers in recommending the extended wine list. We shared the night with my local Family from Bronte Village on their third year Anniversary, we finished the night with complementary Tiramisu, and tried the fresh doppio espresso and cappuccino made to perfection. We absolutely love the hospitality and fine-dining at the Trattoria. We look forward to returning again soon. Piacare Mio e A Presto. Molto Grazie!
