Far too often (myself included) we use the phrase "Where the elite meet to eat." While this is a fine place to dine, unfortunately it doesn't meet the standards of "elite meeting to eat". Not withstanding ,I stand by my five star review.

Great meal and experience 2nd week in a row!! Took advantage of the special scallops & short rib special this past week - after some communication with Ewa, picked up our food at 5pm on Fri and ate abt 6:15pm. The portions were huge, and definitely delicious (wife frequently ordered the dish pre-pandemic) - all expectations were met and exceeded!! Heartily recommend Noble Bistro, Chef, Ewa and the team for ensuring yet another delicious Noble Bistro dining experience! (I also really appreciate their consideration provided in dealing with my questions).

My wife and I attended at Noble Bistro for dinner on a Thursday night. The food was beyond expectation and the service was knowledgeable and courteous. We were told that all the food was made in house and based on the taste, we absolutely believe it. The octopus appetizer my wife ordered was the best I have ever tasted. Make sure to ask for Tim's hot sauce made from his personal hot pepper garden! Fantastic.

Very nice place, good food and pleasant service. I’ve planned to come for a period of time, and finally walked in and luckily got a table in patio in late evening. I noticed the plastic curtains for indoor tables which feel safe and distance with neighbor table. I have recommended to my friend.

Had been in Oakville for a few days and was really waiting for an opportunity to make it in for dinner. Did not disappoint, the service was very friendly and attentive with good recommendations. It's nice to find such a positive place, especially when I had looked forward to the menu. The scallops and grilled shrimp were bang on. Presentation wonderful and the king crab was phenomenal. Worth the price. Very grateful for the meal.

For a couple hours I was able to go back to a time where we felt safe to enjoy ourselves and our meals without the stresses of our new lives. The screens they have between tables not only serve a purpose but were built to look like they belong. The food was exquisite and the service was fantastic. The rainbow trout and prawn dinner I chose was an off menu special that night and oh boy am I glad I got it. Highly rated and highly recommend for your outing

Food was ok took nearly an hour to receive our order also ran out of vodka of our preference. I know that everything had just opened allowing more inside dining but our waitress was very miserable and hardly came around. I would try it again but maybe when things aren't so crazy.

Absolutely amazing seafood. Price slightly higher than the average restaurants, but definitely worth it. Had their seabass, seafood platter, lobster pasta and bisque. The grilled calamari and scallops were cooked to perfection, not something easy to find. The stars are 100% contributed to the food quality. Service, staff, environment would have brought this down to a 3/4 stars, but I'll try not to pull down the rating during this hard time.

Went for brunch on Sunday and had an amazing experience. The chefs put together an amazing buffet. Built my own eggs benedict with a perfectly done pork belly. Service was friendly and kept our coffees full. Price is on the higher end but I thought it was worth it. Casual, quiet, and delicious.

This place offers a truly phenomenal food experience - nothing short of purely fantastic food. Their chefs are not just good, they are excellent, able to cater to any dietary need and even whip up incredible vegan dishes from scratch. I have been back 7 times in the past 4 months and I have never been disappointed. Combine the culinary excellence with great service and an impressive wine list and you simply cannot go wrong - it is 5 star quality food that just delivers on everything you hoped for. It is on the pricey end, but this matched my expectations for the quality of the food. Lunch however, is incredibly reasonable with the last two bills costing me 40 and 50 dollars respectively. I could not recommend more to go there.

One of the best salmon dishes that I have had at a restaurant. The fish is cooked to your preference of doneness. The quinoa with asparagus accompaniment is an excellent vegetarian dish in of itself.

I attended a corporate dinner training function at Noble Bistro and was in love with every bite. Chef JohnRoss's creations were bursting with wonderful flavour and cooked to perfection. The servers were extremely courteous and very helpful. One of the servers even kindly offered his technical assistance to our presenter when a glitch in the presentation occurred. Great Chef, great staff, I will definitely return! I have been singing the praises of this wonderful establishment to friends and family today and will continue to do so.

We had made reservation after reading the great reviews which we drove two hours to get to for a night out. We ordered a decent appetizer of avocado bread and oysters. For 12 oysters we received hardly any mignonette but that is not the issue. The most upsetting part of this experience was with my main dish. I ordered the seafood platter the most expensive meal on the menu. It was said to come with vegetables as a side and a large amount of seafood. The plate was underwhelming but I saved the large crab claw and crab leg for last which sat on three pieces of spinach (the vegetable side dish). When I opened the crab leg it was sludge, not white meat but gooey sludge. I took one bite and knew it was under-cooked. All of the crab meat I did not eat, an $80 plate.I told the waiter who looked at the pile of crab and said nothing to me in return. He just took the plate and dismissed me. Didn't ask if I wanted something else, didn't ask if he could do anything, nothing.Terrible service. Paid our bill and left. You would think when you are paying those type of prices the service would be up to par. Will not be returning.

We visited Noble Bistro (not Noble Bistro Seafood) tonight, with the highest of expectations surrounding the Taste of Oakville menu and we were not disappointed. Not. One. Bit. ???? We were graciously welcomed by Tim, who escorted us to our seats and explained the menu in great detail. The starters included a citrus & beet salad and a sweet potato & ginger soup. The fresh ingredients and the warm combinations provided a scintillating treat for our tastebuds. We also ordered the mushroom & scallion dumplings from the à la carte menu. As someone who has eaten a fair share of dumplings from around the world, this was the BEST I've ever had! For our main course, we got the muscovy duck breast. It was cooked to medium perfection with a beautiful pink centre and the maple-glazed crispy skin provided the perfect texture for that burst of flavour. The secret ingredient was the dark chocolate and beet mole served alongside it. Revolutionary! Now coming down to the favorite part of the meal, DESSERT! I have an egg allergy, so finding that sweet ending is quite the task. But at Noble Bistro, I was personally accommodated by Chef Adam who took the time to understand my palate. I was served the most wondrous strawberry and rhubarb pie, with a light, foamy white chocolate mousse. The natural sugars from the fruit and the touch of spice with the flaky pastry was the perfect end to my impeccable meal. Each and every dish was such a distinct flavor, making it an absolute joy to eat. I was a happy kid and can't wait to go back again. Thank you for the lovely evening team Noble!

The food is always top notch. Good quality but more of a taster than an actual meal. The patio is right next to the gasoline emitting vehicles passing by. I'm also upset they raised the prices for Father's Day. The server on the other end, was slacking. Forgot parts of my order and I have a feeling he didn't ring in the food on time because our reservation was for 7 and the food didn't come out till after 8. And they want to charge 25$ each person if you don't show up for the reservation? When we were waiting for our bill he was chatting with the kitchen staff. For such an expensive restaurant the server needs to be up to par. He didn't even introduce himself. He was the taller red faced dude. I visited 7pm on Father's Day. I've worked in this industry and I think he needs to be properly trained. I just expected more for a bill over 350.

Im baffled by the positive reviews. While I was there another couple walked out due to cold food being served after taking an hour. Another table had a man loudly proclaiming how great the food was here and that he's a regular, but then having to ask for an item to be taken off the bill, (the soup, I think) then bragging about never having a problem getting an item knocked off the bill when there's an issue ( but if you're having to do this regularly, then guess what, it isn't good). The table beside us got a wrong plate and the management refused to knock it off the bill. FOR US: Burned soup, shocking and how does one manage this? But based to the response to the table beside us, we didnt even bother with the aggravation of trying to complain. Seafood platter was half burnt, but the scallops were perfect, and the only saving grace from our various apps. I saw a comment that the ceasar was good, but mine was limp and greasy? I got the pasta and the rose was perfect, though there was no seafood harmed in the making of my seafood pasta dish. Very inconsistent quality and service and not worth the inconvenience, ie one hour wait to get the food to the table, others served before us, and having to ask for missed dishes - and deal with returns/bill adjustments if your willing to go that direction. Oh, the restaurant is cute thats a positive, but the actual experience detracted from that.

Great lunch here. Bread fresh from the oven. I had the best quiche I've ever had, and my wife had a wonderfully light nicoise salad. They don't have a kids menu, but they whipped up some battered cod for my daughter that was quite good. I look forward to returning for dinner soon.

Excellent customer service; we went there with kids and they gave us an excellent table when I'm usually worried to be sent to the end of a restaurant near the kitchen door when I walk in with kids. Had a wonderful meal at Noble Bistro last night. The menu is filled with options so it was hard to choose what to have, but I settled on the Pork Belly to start and had the Pan Seared East Coast Halibut as a main. Both were excellent with great flavours and careful presentation! I also got to try the Striploin and the Eggplant Schnitzel and enjoyed them as well. We ended the meal sharing a version of Baklava Cheesecake that put smiles on everyone's faces. Service was also excellent. We'll definitely be going back.

Went out for a quiet and excellent lunch. The tables are most setup for couples thought they could be adjusted for a larger group- there are 3 steps up to the dinning area. A delicious selection of lunch options. I had the cheeseburger with Caesar salad and my companion had the chicken sandwich. A certain amount of abstract impressionist art on the wall and quiet music elevated the atmosphere and a load for easy conversation. The food was delicious and the portions were comfortable. Would definitely go back.

As we were the only ones there we expected awesome food. What we got was awesome service and mediocre food. Mushroom soup was delicious but not hot enough. Got it reheated and it was at a boil. The brussel sprouts appy was large but burned. I'm sure it would have been delicious had they been browned not blackened. My husband's tenderloin was tough and mine was the end piece. The veggies were blackened as well. They comped us with a dessert which was to die for. Sticky toffee cake. Coffee was excellent. Would we hope back...not likely.

Ordered take away, and was blown away by the quality and flavours. Tried a few specials as well as the paella. Would highly recommend the blackened scallops with mango salsa if available. It is so fresh, with bright flavours and it’s light. Perfect for warm weather. Can’t wait to be able to eat at restaurants again - we’ll be the first in line for any patio seating!

We went for the taste of Oakville dinner and it was amazing. I had the tuna tartare which was so flavourful. I chose the duck for the entree. Let me start by saying say I’ve been living and eating out in Oakville for a long time and this place is ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Outstanding service, warm welcome, attentive, generous portions, great flavours, perfectly cooked everything. The owner even came out to intruduce himself, describe a little more about the menu, and thank us for coming in. We have now been 3 times, and I’m writing this review on my way there now. The new seafood options are so fresh and tasty paired with a good wine list. Our server Cliff was great, a, answering our questions and staying on top of honestly just excellent service. I’m happy to have found a new regular spot to dine in Oakville.

We went to Noble Bistro to celebrate our daughter 40th BD. It was fantastic evening. Food was delicious and service was excellent. I would recommend this place very highly. Gentlemen who was taking care of our table (8 of us) was so professional and so knowledgeable about wines but most importantly described all menu the way that we wanted to take all of them. Lamb and beef tenderloin was sooooo good that I can say that one of the best I have ever had! Not the first time dinning over there and not the last time....

We attended the second seating for new years eve at 8pm. We were a group of 11. In our group we had mixed opinions of the food. The portions, however, we did agree upon... way too small. If it weren't for the 6 or so baskets of bread brought to our table, we certainly would have left hungry. Another huge disappointment of the evening was the way we were all but told to leave so that the staff could leave and celebrate the countdown with their own loved ones. When their web site advertised party favours and champagne included, we thought we would be bringing in the new year on their premises. We did not! We scrambled to get home with all 11 family and friends for the countdown with 15 minutes to spare. Last year we celebrated at Rogues Restaurant in Mississuga. That was a much more satisfying experience. Great food ... great portions... great party atmosphere bringing in the new year. I was personally embarrassed as I recommended Noble Bistro because my wife and I celebrated our anniversary a few months earlier with a much better experience. Needless to say we will never celebrate new years their nor will my wife and I celebrate any future anniversary dinners their.

What an amazing experience. From the hospitality to the delicious meal, this was a classy place for a date. The presentation of the seafood platter was like nothing I've ever seen, and I've lived on both sides of the Pacific at coastal cities for years. I was particularly impressed by the delicateness of the scallops, which will have me coming back for more on the next round. We came just in time for the reopening and the excellent service under new conditions continued without skipping a beat. Bravo, Noble Bistro.

Absolutely delicious meal. Chef Adam is a genius. Starting off with the beer salad, although simple in its presentation, the development and layers of flavour were beautiful. Moving onto the Cod accompanied with carrot purée and beans just melted in my mouth. Ending the meal with the sticky toffee pudding ended just how the meal started - delicious ! Thanks to the amazing servers Tim and Cliff for making the overall experience just as amazing as the food.

The food at Noble is fairly good. The portion sizes are a bit too big however. So if you're a desert person only order a main or share a starter and a desert. Because of the large portion sizes don't expect to see "art" on your plate.

We dropped by due to the reviews we saw online and we were not disappointed. I would highly recommend this place for anyone with an adventurous palette that wants to try great new tastes. Don't be shy to engage their greater waiter and ask what they may have off menu. I had the duck that was not on their menu, and it was great, and the waiter recommended a great pairing of wine that went great. Best thing of all, you don't have to be a "foodie", as there was nothing pretentious about the place, and the waiter heard us out and worked with us to make our dinner great, bringing his experience to help us.

We went on a regular day, almost empty. The service was excellent. The food was exceptionally tastey and of high quality. It was our anniversary, when the server learned that he opened a bottle of champagne and served us 2 glasses for free. It was a great experience. Highly recommended

My mother-in-law and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Noble Bistro today! We had the pickerel special and the wild boar ragu. The fish was very lightly breaded, not greasy and perfectly cooked inside - delicious! The ragu was just spicy enough. Our waiter was very attentive, friendly, pleasant and helpful with recommendations. We'll be back. Thank you!

Cosy atmosphere with very friendly service. It’s a lovely restaurant right on lake shore street oakville. So it’s great to have a nice walk after dinner. The menu is creative and shows there is an effort made to make it upscale. I would advise them to take some slight more effort in the quality of ingredients to be at par with the overall high end atmosphere. I am not saying the food was bad it was actually very good.

I LOVE this place!!! Ate here last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. We chose it because of the farm to table philosophy and the chef/owner's resume. From the second we walked it, it felt so much like a New York City restaurant, I forgot I was in Oakville. The clear and generous attention to detail starts in the decor, extends to the service, but peaks in the food! My husband ordered the ceasar salad to start. I ordered the organic salad. For dinner, he had the beef tenderloin, I had the chicken Ballantine. I don't think we have ever had a more perfect meal. The portions, the flavor profile, the presentation, the creativity... all of it had a WOW factor in every bite! It is rare to feel like you are getting more than you pay for, but Noble Bistro accomplishes that, especially in the obvious care taken in each element. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. Go while you can still get a table, as soon as this place catches on you won't be able to!

A kind of average hamburger joint "painted" as a class bistro . The " haute " cuisine is so high( haute) so they can get to it Average food in general , tartare a disaster !!!!!! If you want to go for an average but pricey dinner the place is OK. If you expect to find class and personality in your plate just don't go!

Had a wonderful dinner. The restaurant is pristinely clean, set up very safely for these crazy times we're living, and most importantly the food is AMAZING. Did I mention the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff? A wine was suggested to us that went perfectly with the devine calamari and soft shell crab appetizers as well as the lobster pasta I had. Everyone there creates a calm and cool atmosphere and are genuinely kind. Couldn't have asked for a better experience for an impromptu weekday night dinner. Already booked a reservation to go again.

Ordered Lobster Bisque (if more creamy and adding a bit of Lobster meat in, then would be great), and Lobster Linguine for the main course (the bread is very crispy and the sauce is just right). My husband and I ate at Noble for the first time last weekend. Right from the start our waiter was not friendly at all. I ordered the chicken but he brought me salmon then didn't even apologize. We had to wait another 20 mins for my chicken and our waiter never once came to check up on us. Had he been apologetic and offered us some bread or noticed that our wine bottle was turned upside down, we would have forgiven him. My husband and I are both very understanding to the tough times everyone is going through. Having said that, we left a 25% tip (not for the server) for the cooks as our meal was absolutely excellent. My chicken was the best I've had in a very long time and my husband found his sea bass delicious. We will certainly return. We will just asked for another server.

Our first time visiting Noble Bistro, and it was fantastic. Our waiter was excellent, and went through the menu with us before ordering, making suggestions and informing us on the portion size. The food was delicious, especially the sticky toffee pudding at the end. Love that the food is local and made to order. Definetly check this place out.

Love love loved dinner here! An impromptu decision with no reservation, and they very graciously accommodated us. For dinner, we had grilled calamari as an appetizer, king crab legs with the sauce directly from heaven as a main, and Creme brûlée for dessert. The entire experience was lovely. Both the hostess and server Cliff were very personable. Highly recommend.

We went for dinner after multiple recommendations and reading reviews. However, very disappointed with the food. We had grilled calamari and seafood medley to start. All the seafood was very over cooked and small in portion size. The calamari was the equivalent of soemthing you'd get at a place like Jack Astor's. Not to say it's awful but not what you'd expect at a seafood bistro with this price point. The medely was almost humorous again looked like something you'd get from a big chain restaurant. For mains we had the special, Veal steak and lobster tail and the cod/scallops. Again all the food was very over cooked and lacked flavour. The servers and hosts were very accommodating and did their best to help out but even the second time around the lobster tail was dry. We unfortunately left the majority of our food on the plate. They were kind enough to compensate the bill. Hopefully it's a one off or due to them being closed thru covid but definitely based on this experience we wouldn't recommend.

This is an amazing place for seafood. The seafood chowder was really tasty, the shrimp and scallops appetizer was just incredible. Clearly the stuff comes in fresh daily, it has so much flavour. There was an Arctic Char special with more amazing scallops and a really flavourful Thai curry sauce and the lobster linguine was delicious. We finished off with the home made Crème brûlé and that was a perfect ending to a fantastic meal. Seriously some of the best seafood we have ever had. We will definitely be back soon. Covid stuff - mask to your table, then each table has a clear screen between it and the next one, so everything is safe but you feel still part of the restaurant, not curtained or anything. It is a great Covid solution.

First time dining at Noble Bistro and I was not disappointed. Opted for getting a variety of appetizers rather than a main course and everything was excellent. The mussels in white wine sauce were incredible and the grilled calamari was so flavorful and perfectly grilled. The appetizers come in three different serving sizes which is a great option so you don't have to commit to one appetizer particularly if you want to try an assortment. Throughout my whole experience dining inside, I felt very safe. The staff were wonderful, the restaurant was very clean and there are tasteful looking plastic barriers between each table that did not affect the overall look of the restaurant. In fact, it was nice to have a "private" section where you aren't sitting on top of your neighbour and hearing their conversation. I would recommend Noble Bistro to everyone and will be definitely going back again.

My husband and I went there this weekend for his 40th. We had an early dinner, reservation were for 430. I usually never write reviews even if I enjoyed my meal. However, I am compelled to write one for Nobel. The service was amazing, I wish I remembered our servers name we had 3. They were outstanding! The food from apps to dessert hands down amazing! We ordered the beef tartar, mussels, short ribs and scallops, beef tenderloin with gnocci and for dessert we had the creme brule. Everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Noble. We will definitely be back.

Went to Nobel Bistro at the end of September with my wife and two other couples. This was our first visit there since they reopened after COVID. We really enjoyed our dinner. The entire group liked the new menu and choices. I started with the Seafood Chowder - more in the Manhattan style than New England, it was full of flavor and very enjoyable, my wife had the grilled Calamari which was nothing short of OUTSTANDING! The others all has various starters which I did not get to try but everyone seemed to really like. For our mains my wife had the Shrimp Pasta and I had Sea Bass. Again, neither disappointed at all. Both meals were fantastic. The bass was done about perfect and the pasta was really good and more than enough to bring home a bit. While the menu has changed the service has not, it was friendly, welcoming and warm, exactly what we expected. The bistro has a low key atmosphere which we all appreciated. In this COVID time they have made an effort to put up clear barriers between table which don't detract too much from the atmosphere while allowing all to feel protected. We will be going back again very soon. Love supporting a great local business in Oakville.

What worse was.. we only had a couple of glasses of sparkling water but found we're charge 2 bottles of it by $20. I claimed it so things went fine fortunately??... However, I can't help but to say just not go there. It's sad having a restaurant to avoid in my neighbourhood..

Every time we have had occasion for a special night’s dinner, we end up at Noble Bistro. When having an upscale meal, I expect great service and delicious food and they always deliver. The wait staff is very personable, attentive, and knowledgeable with a perfect balance of “never have to look for them” and “not constantly interrupting”. The menu is thoughtful and well planned using seasonal and local ingredients with a refined and elevated touch. They will also modify any dish to accommodate any dietary restrictions (they will ask before ordering and offer this). The dining space is cozy and comfortable, perfect for romantic evenings. Parking is available on the street in front and a parking lot is around the corner.

We called to make a reso (pre-covid) and they said only times available on Friday night was either 530pm or after 830pm. We left work early and got there for 530pm. Nobody there except for us. We left at 730pm and still only 25% capacity. We def felt like they made us arrive very early or late to accommodate their possible walk-in traffic. Not cool. Never again.

Noble Bistro in Oakville is a lovely higher end resturant but not stuffy. Clean and modern decor with a welcome atmosphere. Waiting staff are well trained and pleasant. You will enjoy this restaurant if you are not the rushed impatient type. And it is well worth the little wait. Food is good but not great. The desert was very good... They also have outdoor patio that is more casual.
