It was fine. Poutine was decent, but that’s hard to mess up. Dishes were a little dirty, featuring coffee mugs with other peoples’ coffee, but the server was really nice. All that aside, if you’ve ever had a Philly Cheesesteak in Philadelphia, do not order one here. It’s...not even close? A ‘steak is all about the meat and whiz (or provolone) and that heavenly bread you can only find in Philly. This was a saucy grizzled flank steak with teriyaki-style peppers and onions on a hamburger bun. Just no. Breakfast might be pretty good. I’ll never know, but don’t be afraid to try it yourself. It wasn’t worth avoiding.

Have been here a few times before, but today was the absolute last time. It was filthy. The basket of condiments was dirty, the seats were full of crumbs, the book to sign in was dirty as well. The pancakes were dry and over cooked, as if made the day before and just warmed up. The eggs were not cooked as I requested. The customer service was way below par. Not once did the waitress check how things were. When I mentioned the eggs and pancakes, she didn't seem to care. This place wil not be open for much longer of this is how they treat their customers.

Wings were cold and soggy as in not fully cooked. We were given a plate with wet naps and jelly which looked like were already given to someone else because the wet naps were all dirty with sauce on them and not to mention the dust,lint and crumbs on the plate.

I think this is a great little restaurant and have been coming here for a long time. The staff are beyond friendly and welcoming to anybody coming in the door. It has a serious 50s theme and there is a bunch of records on the walls and Elvis things all over the place. Can’t beat the breakfast special for the price and the sausages are fantastic.

My boyfriend and I had the smoked meat sandwiches to take out - I had the deluxe and he had the jumbo (with fries, coleslaw and pickles)... it was GREAT! The meat was very tasty and the bread was so fresh. Fries were great as well, having some gravy on the side was a plus! Great place, great people, great food!

When we arrived there were 5 tables that were dirty and had not been cleared of plates. These tables continued to be left dirty for 30min even though there were only 3 groups dining in the restaurant. The spaghetti and meatballs were terrible. The meatballs had a mushy consistency and the sauce had an awful flavor. The burger looked like it was made of mystery meat. The dishware was also very grimy.

We went every Sunday including last Sunday. But we will not be going anymore. Two Sundays ago both female washrooms were out of service. One had problems with flushing. The other had a broken lock. The owner was so upset saying that his female patrons were breaking everything because the male washrooms had no issues. Note that the locks are old and need to be changed. My husband held the door shut for me so I could use the bathroom privately. The owner wanted to get in regardless. My husband had to tell him 3 times that his wife was in there. The owner was so agitated by the 2 issues that he was not registering what my husband was saying. This past Sunday the salt shaker was disgustingly greasy and other parts sticky. I asked the waitress to get me clean ones. When she returned she said,"are these Ok?". I asked her if they were clean and she said they were. In fact they were better than the others but still sticky. So I deducted that if what we see and feel is so dirty, imagine what state the stuff we don't see is in!

Love this place. Great ambience, good food, service is ok. Typical diner menu with all your breakfast options and a few other entree's. I go there about once a month and have never been disappointed with the food. The service is ok, but can be better, takes longer than it should to get your coffee refills which includes a lot of hand waving and waiting endlessly for the server to look in your direction, but that hasn't keott me from going back to the place

This staff are friendly, and it is a cute diner, with cute décor. The prices are okay, and the food is good. The restaurant is not the cleanest, but nice for an occasional brunch with the family. Me and my family eat here at least a couple of times a week, for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, on and off for 7 years. Have always had a great dining experience. Food is fantastic, and very reasonably priced, clean dining area and bathrooms!! Service is always excellent... If anybody says otherwise they have an axe to grind or are having a very miserable no good rotten day.. Not sure if the previous customer is actually refering to Fiftie's oakville. Keep up the awesome work folks.

The food isn’t bad, but still not up to Sunset Grill standards. Over 30 minute wait for two orders and my order was still wrong. It wasn’t that busy and there was adequate staff. Not sure what the delay was; maybe they didn’t have enough cooks.

I honestly didn't want to add any star at all but it's required to post a review.... I went to... place last year.. twice with my two childen. . Ordered a cheeseburger for myself and it was just nasty! Tasted like something from the garbage and smelled like a rotten dead squirrel (no exaggeration) and yes. I bit into it after smelling it.. giving it a chance and after tasting it I couldn't take anothe bit.. my children haD spaghetti and chicken strips and couldn't stomach it. And they are no fussy eaters. I was upset because of the prices and we were all wasting food and money.. so I tasted the spaghetti (bc really, HOW on earth can anyone get tha wrong... Esp at a restaurant)...well!? I couldn't even force them to eat it. ... I've never tasted anything like it. My 3 year old son had a disgusted expression and said "yuck mommy it tastes weird" and my 6 year old daughter (who has a weak stomach towards bad smells and taste) literally threw up in her mouth and ran to the washroom to spit and vomit.. it was inedible.. disgusting... the meat sauce was a dark brown and I would not give that to my worst enemy... ok.. maybe I would.. Anyway, My mother had gone to the same restaurant just yesterday! She told me the name of the place and it rang a bell but didn't realize what it was until it was too late... if I had known I would've told her to run for her life! Seriously. She ordered her food and called me and told me it was disgusting. Worst she ever had... I laughed and told her I wouldnt be surprised if she woke up sick............ As I am typing this (lividly) an ambulance is on its way to pick my mother up from the mall she went too.. all morning her stomach was hurting really badly.. she called me crying.. sitting over the toilet her stomach trying to evacuate which ever poisen they fed her. Loose and uncontrollable bowel and vomiting non stop... about an hour after it settled just enough for her to go out and run errands as she is in the process of moving today!! She thought she was good enough... but then it hit her stronger than ever... she called me screaming from the washroom floor in the mall with people around her trying to comfort her. And I can hear the pain in her voice. I am enraged!!!! WHY IS THIS DISGUSTING HELL WHOLE STILL OPEN!!! it's going to kill someone one day. They distroyed the chicken parm I had.. I couldn't eat it. My kids wouldn't either... how can you ruin chicken breasts with cheese on it. How do u manage to make it so gross you cant even force it down!.. and the fries! My children love fries....couldn't eat it.. my daughter asked "why does everything taste so weird"!!! After almost $100 later for only 3 meals of what is probably skunk or racoon meat, my poor mother is now on her way to the emergency room... I just read some of the other reviews on different sites about this restaurant and apparently she is not the only one who has gone throught this! !!! Unbelievable! I wish I could warn everyone. And I will be taking measures to let it be known that it is a dangerous place to eat. But I also hope everyone sees the reviews before thinking about stepping foot into that place. Their meat is not meat. Their sauce is not sauce.. the cheese! No taste and I tried hard to mask the burnt and extremely dried out chicken taste with the cheese and I seriously couldn't bare it. I would love to get our money back. We are all beyonD livid.disgusted and turned off..... Please save yourself and ur family and friends if you love them...and warn them.. post it on your fb or or social media statuses.... It is not safe!!!!

I once went to this place when I was younger and remembered it as being a good time, I guess that’s what they call repressing bad memories because this place was straight out of one of my nightmares. Never have I ever considered dining and dashing but I’m not going to lie I did not want to pay for this sad excuse for food, do not go here it’s awful and to top it off it’s ugly as hell. I am mid fourtys father with almost teen kids. Been to this restaurant 3 times over 6 years and all 3 times the food has been, well, nasty. Tables are sticky, dated interior, menus sticky and worn badly. Deep fried chicken should not taste like deep fried fish and the deep fried chips definitely over-cooked and saturated in the same fishy oil. Even the coleslaw is soft, brown and wilted, home made dijon mustard was separated and over oiled, mustard and ketchup on the tables where not even clean. Server asked how things were and laughed at me when I honestly told her my above comments and said "I don't think so, our food is good". I like fast food, but this place is terrible. Don't waste your money, so many other nice restaurants around. 45 minutes and $45 to get a burger, chicken and fries + 2 drinks with an empty restaurant? I would be afraid to see the state of the kitchen or staff back there.

Three stars because food was very tasty... BUT we were told it would take 20 mins for our food to be ready. The girl at the front told us she would bring it out to our car for us. We waited in parking lot for 45 mins and the fries were cold and the bread was soggy (we ordered the Jumbo and Deluxe sandwiches). Definitely a disappointment because it’s obvious the entire meal had been sitting for a while before it was brought out to us.

Extremely expensive in comparison with the food received. I ordered a salad and lettuce was so soft. My son ordered paella and seafood was not properly cooked, my son's girlfriend had to leave half of the salad. We end up eating most of the food but felt sick later. The waitress was really nice and I am sure it did not depended on her but service was slow. We ordered and almost took an hour to get our dishes. They did not have menus and had to ordered from a mobile blackboard. I went to take my son to the washroom and by mistake I came in without a mask, but politely the waitress told us to wear it, therefore we did it right away. I asked if the drinks were refills because cups were small but they are not. Also everything was served in disposable plates, cups, cutlery. It sounds funny to have a Margarita in a plastic cup, but also it is too much plastic waste. They charged us one extra drink by mistake but we noticed and it was given back. People seem nice but they need to improve a lot the food and the speed of the service.

If you can handle the filth in fifties diner the breakfast isn't too bad. If you like a clean experience I would never recommend this restaurant to you. My girlfriend had the dirtiest coffee cup I've ever seen. Mine looked clean. She got a new cup and we thought all was okay. When we finished our coffee there was a tons of disgusting floating bits, old food in the bottom (none of which were coffee grinds) Thinking back on the experience makes me gag. If you do visit this restaurant bring your cleaning supplies with you.

He was sitting at a table without a mask, yelling at waitresses the getting up and walking into the kitchen without a mask. Tables are grungy and feel unsanitary, the creamer container is filled with dirty unopened cream and milk containers, I had something chunky and white floating in my coffee, the mustard container was grungy covered in old mustard, the ketchup appeared to have specs floating in it. I ordered the James Dean burger, and what I got was a hamburger that tastes like it was microwaved from frozen, the bun was dry, bacon was covered in grease, however the fries were not terrible. Our server was friendly enough, but the time it took for our food to come out (about 45 minutes) is ridiculous. Probably never coming back.

Amazing atmosphere, but food was middle of the road. Good selection, for the type of diner it is. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the options on the menu. The staff seemed slow but delivered hot food quickly once they took our order. 4 out of 5 is an accurate rating. Try it, if only once :)

The hostess and server were very friendly. But lack of staffing on Saturday morning is just stupid. We waited 15 minutes just to get a drink order and about 45 minutes to get our food. The food wasn't that great compared to other breakfast places. We will not be returning.

I like kitsch, and this place had lots of it! The food's excellent and the menu's very varied. I dare you to go here and not be able to find something you want to eat!

This place earns its 3 star average. Food is typically diner food. Staff are friendly. Food came out in under 10 minutes. Fries are fresh but have a seasoning that didn't work for me. Bonus for me is that they use butter and not margarine. Prices are reasonable for what you get.

Very rude staff, I just wanted a place to sit while I waited for my bus. I ordered a orange juice. when I went to pay it was $4 which is a lot for the little glass you get. Then she said I actually have to pay $5. Because it was debit. She pointed to a sign explaining this which was hidden away and about 4 inches wide and faded. It wasn't so much the price, but her general attitude that bothered me. She treated older customers like gold but then when she saw I was using my computer, she seemed to take an instant dislike to me

Ambiance is nice and feels authentic. Food is ok, but expensive for what you pay for. Waitress and owner put out an off-putting vibe like they don't want you to be there. Feels very uncomfortable dining in.

I worked here in my youth. The owners penny pinch too much. Rotten vegetables get used, rancid meat gets used. The kitchen isn't clean. The problem is. Since they were forced to move from the old location at the top of Morden, they gave up. The food here is a biohazard.
