As you can see it reaches an opinions average is really good, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the evaluation is quite accurate. If many people have bothered to value when they've done well with the business, it works.
You know that we don't usually bother to place feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant is classified in the category of Indian restaurant.
This place was a total turn off. The food was horrible. We ordered coriander green vegetables curry which was uncooked with bland taste. After the order server came to Us and said that the oven was not working so can’t give us tandoori roti and instead offered us naan which he said they are outsourcing. However turned out... they served us frozen naan. I’m so upset with this place. I read the reviews before coming in and now I feel that may b it’s the owners friends and family who wrote those nice reviews. Please don’t be fooled. I’m not worried about the money I wasted.. but upset that I decided to come on a Friday evening to ruin my weekend ????????
Vegetarian food - In all of the below I would give unprecedented 1 ???? Taste, quantity, service, cutlery neatness, valuing customers, spice levels Not worth for money spent in there food If you eat here and think that this is how Indian food must taste like then I'm sorry for you. If there is no other better indian restaurant in this locality compared to this 1 , then again I'm sorry
Always loved their food... consistently good...our latest take out had well marinated tandoori vegetables. The veggies were amazing, the right out of spice and kick.. coriander green has never dishes out an okay dish in the 3 years we have visited them.
Very good indian cuisine, liked it ????
I was excited about an Indian restaurant in Oakville since there’s so few ethnic options around here. What a disappointment. The curry shrimp is bland and rubbery. The butcher chicken is properly cooked but kind of meh. The garlic naan greasy. The pakoras ok. All the food In general is edible but lacks punch and flavour. Portions are on the stingy side. I won’t order here again, sadly.
I had an awesome time in this spot. We liked the extraordinary vibes and the food. The staff members were very affable. I’m content we ultimately decided to visit here.
This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I have had at an Indian restaurant. The order took more than 45 minutes to be served, the food was cold, and the chicken was dry. The waitress was also extremely rude when I tried to convey my concern with the food. I highly recommend avoiding this place as there are better substitutes available.
One of the best Indian restaurants that we've been to, we lived in Dubai and we love Indian food, we weren't sure what to expect from an Indian restaurant in Oakville..the experience was perfect in every way, the atmosphere. The waiters, the menu and most definitely the food...our 6 and 3 years old daughter loved even the spicy dishes
Must must try paneer tikka. Very great service. Recommended foe sure
Overpriced compared to its taste... nice place to visit with family.. impressive interior and decoration..
Middle aged afgani waiter was the worst guy. No greetings from their side. We entered and he just said go outside. Didn’t even asked that if you are here to dine in or for patios.. worst experience
Chicken was stale. I ordered mix grill platter and the tandoori chicken tasted stale and dry. Staff were friendly though
Service was great. However food was not- ordered butter chicken & chicken korma. Was told mild had a little spice but should have got medium. Food was just meh. Bland. Off. Salty.
Good food. Very nice and warm family. A bit on the expensive side, but good food don’t come cheap.
Food itself was authentic and really good. Would recommend this place for someone who's looking for a variety of Indian foods as their menu is decently large and allows many options for vegetarians and meatarians alike. Service was quite slow when we visited although seemingly because they have a malfunction in the kitchen with their oven. However it took them quite a while to come over and let us know about the situation (they were still quite friendly about it). They kindly replaced the Naan we had ordered (oven required) with rice and eventually brought out the delicious food.
A once great restaurant that appears to be going out of business and cutting costs, portions and quality. Careful not to throw your money away here now.
had vegetable korma. gravy was flavorful and spiced mild-medium for pleasure. not as good as Maharaja but better than other Indian kitchens I have tried. unfortunately every other kitchen cheaps out on the vegetables. opting for frozen (pre-prepared?) very small pieces of vegetables. only Maharaja has large cut, fresh-textured vegetables. for $16 I was looking for a bit more.
Great food!! No, seriously...the food is fantastic with personal wonderful service in a great atmosphere...we were ten days out of lockdown and for a few hours I laughed and ate amazing food and felt whole and happy, what a gift!!
We have been customers here for years and although the prices were always a bit high, and the portions small, it was the best local Indian option. We've noticed the prices have gone up even more though and the portions are even smaller. The last straw though was our order on Friday. The vegetable korma had next to no vegetables. There was a small piece of broccoli and a few small mushrooms. That will be our last visit.
First time here and it is now my favourite Indian restaurant in Oakville! Waiters are extremely friendly and converse with you. Food came out fast and tasted incredible! Portions are also very large! My girlfriend got the Shrimp Vindaloo and she had anywhere between 7-9 giant shrimps in her dish. I had the chicken biryani and it was huge and full of large chicken pieces. Highly recommend!
They served us water in plastic glasses. For an extremely expensive indian diner you can at least expect proper service. Food is not great considering the price. I don’t recommend
Fantastic food, and atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and attentive. Well worth it.
By far one of the best Indian restaurants in the GTA. The service is outstanding... the dishes are fantastic! Definitely a splurge as far as Indian food goes, but worth every penny!
I would highly recommend this indian resturant for authentic indian food lover. Naan varieties and chef specialties food items are top notch. They welcome and serve their all customers with respect. Truly the must place to go with your freinds and family.
Excellent ambience and the food was delicious! Location is basically right downtown Oakville and the service was 10/10. A bit pricier than others but the location and feeling of fine dining make up for it!
Fantastic ambiance, beautiful interior. This is a fancy, classy dinner experience in downtown Oakville so prices are as you'd expect. I didn't get a chance to try the range of foods available but I was very impressed with the level of care that went into designing this very welcoming restaurant.
Food is good but for the price I would expect better. Still, it's the only passable Indian in town however $24 for a main dish (excluding rice and breads) is robbery. Creates a nice ambience and service is friendly and efficient. Toilets are down in the dungeon, steep stairway and questionable artwork.
Don't get me wrong, the food is really good however the price is pretty steep for what you get. Expect to pay above $70 for approximately three smaller entrees. The location is great, as it's within walking distance to the Lakeshore.
Great food, great service. Went there to celebrate an event, was very happy. The staff allowed us to stay there, past the closing time, and locked up, after we left. Chef Harminders food was amazing as always.
The experience always surpasses my expectations. No compromises on the food. It was a warm welcome.
We were driving back from Niagara and headed to Toronto. We decided to stop at this restaurant and were glad we did. The food was full of flavor. We loved the vindaloo chicken curry. I'd definitely return another day!
It was a good outing, food was good. My husband like the Coriander Green special Fish cooked in coriander and mint chutney and the ambience was good too.
Overpriced, but mainly it was the total disregard of basic customer service from the management, not the waiters, that made this experience bad. They forgot our appetizers and water entirely. We were told we had to order by 9:30 and we would have, as soon as they brought our appetizers which they didn't. Servers were friendly, management was rude. Won't go back.
Easily one of the worst Indian cuisine experiences I have had in Canada! The vindaloo did not even remotely taste like vindaloo - just a lot of synthetic flavour! Chicken gravy was flavourless. Rice small grain and obviously quite substandard. All portions were small but so poor in taste that we didn’t bother finishing anything or getting packed as a to-go. And nothing was hot, just lukewarm at best. Except the prices which are quite steep. The hostess’s demeanour wasn’t welcoming and she seemed perturbed and defensive when we quite politely asked for salt because the chicken pakora barely had any. The waiter who poured the beer was polite and smiling and had a pleasant demeanour.
food was amazing and service was truly exceptionaly awesome must say the ambiance is very beautifull the food aroma and flavour was so amazing i must say if u want really best indian food than come here. every ingrediants was soo fresh and i love the garlic naan so soft n delicious only wana say 5 star to chef and the owner awesome and the crew amazing job keep it up
We recently ordered food from this place via skip the dishes and were terribly disappointed with the food quality. It can be best described as only a failed attempt to cater indian cuisine. It was particularly disappointing given we have been there multiple times in the past and the food was great.consistently. The sudden change in flavours (for the worse) is surprising. I can only guess that they had a change of chef and the new one is still learning how to prepare indian cuisine. Especially at the $$ point this restaurant serves, they don’t have a lot of room to mess things up.
Absolutely amazing! Tonight was our first time ordering from Coriander Green, and we will definitely be repeat customers! The food was delicious!
Top notch Indian restaurant! Highly recommend making the trip out to Oakville/Burlington to try this, even if you don't live in the area. The food is just that good!! They were caterers for our wedding at the Royal Botanical Gardens and left our guests with stuffed bellies craving more!
Went to celebrate a special occasion... And very disappointed. Mango lassi was extremely sour.... Not sure how it came out of kitchen... Even my daughter 10 yr old daughter said it tastes weird ! Main course ordered 3 dishes (2 chicken and 1 fish gravy) very poor in flavours... Fish was stinky not cleaned properly. Laccha parantha was a disaster.... Have never had it the way it was made with so much ajwain and crispy.... Only thing good was the presentation of the dishes and the appetizer. Expensive and not worth the price at all. If you know and are expecting true Indian food flavors then avoid for sure.
Corriander Green is by far the freshest and tastiest Indian food I've ever eaten. That is saying a lot as I have eaten tonnes of Indian food over the years. I don't eat here very often as it is very expensive, however the quality is unmatched. I would recommend Corriander Green to anyone who fancies a curry.
Went to this Indian restaurant located in downtown Oakville on a Christmas night. Honestly, this was the only restaurant having space on a lockdown Christmas night. The food was below average. And the prices are SOARING HIGH. The prices do not justify the quality and the quantity of the food. The ambience was ild and dark. The gentlemen serving us did not even cover his nose with the mask. We ordered vegetable tikka which cost $22 and did not taste like an authentic one. The lachha parantha was thin and hard. The garlic naan had no taste of garlic or either. The only thing good was the temperature of the beer. I will not recommend or visit again Coriander Green again.
Good ambiance but poor food quality for the price. A female staff in the restaurant was very kind and courteous- forgot to note her name. very expensive menu for this restaurant. Not up to the mark at all. We ordered tandoori roti without butter and it smelled like fresh flour and was hard as rock. Mutter paneer looked appetizing, very bland taste- we asked for hot spice and I couldn't taste flavors in the food. Have eaten in various restaurants across GTA and never come across one like this. Need a major makeover to compete in Toronto food scene
Excellent food at Coriander Green. We ordered Naan & Mushroom sabji, it was just too good. Even the Biryani was very good. Soup was more of a lentil soup so wouldn't recommend that if you are looking for something spicy.
The food is delicious . Their Dal Makhani and Lacha Paratha was awesome. Loved their food. Will try again.
Fantastic Indian food. Not the cheapest Indian fare, but definitely the best quality. Butter Chicken is delicious and a safe choice for those new to Indian cuisine. They offer family style service (sharing plates and sides on table) so its a great places for friends or family but alo nice enough ambience for a date night. You can order your food at various spice levels (mild, medium, hot) for varying tastes. Prompt, friendly service.
Very relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and polite staff, food was so amazing very tasty money's worth.
Excellent food! We always order butter chicken, seekh kebabs and biryani here and hands down the best Indian food in the GTA. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star rating is because the food is expensive. As much as I like to go there frequently I don't because of the price! Service is great! Very cozy place.
We dine tonight with my fiance and friend.. It was a good choice of ours to dine here.. the ????food was delicious along with the customer service .. The gentleman and the staff was polite.. Willing to see them again❤️❤️
One of the best Indian restaurants in the GTA... always delicious! I highly recommend the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala & Pakoras... mmm! They have friendly staff and very welcoming! Always a pleasure. Thank you!!!
great food, authentic and original taste at the restaurant. One of a kind food, you won't leave without satisfaction. However do come early, as prime dinner their service efficiency starts going down
I went to see a family friend and they took me to this place for supper. The ambience was great, I could smell the aroma of spices on the street before entering the place. I thought I was up for a treat, but trust me it was dissapointment to the core! I am an Indian, food lover, cook by passion who loves spicy food and usually likes a green chilli to spice up things for myself! I ordered vegetable tikka, the worst I have ever tasted. I am surprised by how much pepper they use in their food, I had tears running down my eyes, my stomach was sizzling! I am like what the heck is this! The paneer (cottage cheese) was of very poor quality, I just ate half of it and let it go because I thought they would make amends with the main course. Then for the main course I ordered Vegetable Korma and Lacha Parantha! It just seem something every Indian restaurant is good at but they failed miserably! I had too bites and let it go, I enjoy my food and love the flavours of India, but nothing special with this place. Definately not recommended, imagine I did not have to pay for the food but I felt bad for my hosts that they had to pay and experience such bad quality Indian food! Last but not the least the service was awful, who has 2 servers serving one table without communicating with each other while taking orders! We were asked to place orders twice, where in we had already placed the order. And when we requested one of the many servers to give us a few minutes between appetizers another one would pop up to ask the same question and then the 1st one would come back again. I was like give us a break, don't you guys understand and communicate with each other. Let me put in simple words if this was the last place to go eat Indian food on earth, I would still not go their!
A hidden gem. Fabulous saucy dishes that you can have anyway you want and with your choice of meats is just wonderful. We have been coming here for years and is our favourite Indian restaurant.
OMG! I just ate their butter chicken and it was literally the best I have ever had! It was delicious, flavourful and they made it just the perfect spiciness! The bread was freshly baked and warm. The Palak Paneer was amazing too! ???? Their food is amazing! If you have never been, go! If you have, go again! They had friendly service with such a lovely atmosphere. Thank you! ????
Fantastic Indian restaurant in Oakville. Really enjoy eating here every time I pass through. Their onion bhajis are fantastic. Have tried several of their curries and not gone wrong yet. My wife is gluten and dairy free and they always make accommodations for her too. Definitely go to Indian if you’re in the area and hungry!
I ordered from Coriander Green via Skip the dishes last night. I have eaten at the restaurant before the lockdown but last night was simply the best Indian cuisine my Wife and I have ever had. Simply incredible!
Normally I give to hem 4 to 5 stars but last week the food was not that great as before. Perhaps they have changed their cheff? August 2021.
Not worth the hype and price. Girls over the counter were staring at us like we are movie for them. C’mon that can make people uncomfortable. Menu isn’t very wide, appetizer was full of diff kind of pakoras and platters. Somebody recommended me their dal makhani, it wasn’t that great. It just overpriced. The cook wasnt wearing mask. He came outside the kitchen like 4-5 times and no mask was worn. Girls were handling money and serving food without washing hands. Clean the table and didn’t wash hands, served us. RIDICULOUS
I've been hearing nothing but the best recommendations from friends to go hear. It does a large amount of take out business which makes it surprising how nice out is inside. The decor and feel ate cozy and the staff so friendly and on top of taking care of people. This at a time when they were full to capacity and serving a steady lines of take out. I went with a couple that hasn't been before so we ordered a few items to slip to get a taste of a few different items. Everything was great and this will become a regular pave for me now. My only regret wad waiting so long to find out just how good this place is.
I visited along with my family for dinner we ordered grill platter vindaloo chicken butter masala and chilli chicken apart from grill everything seems very tasteless specially chilli chicken was too hard to chew and I found a huge piece of ginger equivalent to chicken inside vindaloo it’s heartbreaking for all of us.
Great food and nice packaging for take out as well!
Due to covid lockdown today we took out two Curry item and two biryani from coriander green. The two Curry which was dal makhini and butter chicken was just okay quality. The two biryani items, vegetable and chicken was not up to the mark and the rice used in this dish was of sub standard quality. Basically at our Indian household we use a better quality rice for daily use what we got from coriander green. The rice which came with the curry also had the same issue of being bad quality. With all these exposure it will be difficult for us to come back in the future
Best butter chicken I've ever had anywhere. Normally, the mild butter chicken has much less flavour. However, at this place, the mild butter chicken was very flavourful! My only complaint is that rice was not included, and it was not exactly cheap. Rice doesn't cost that much to make, so I think it should be included with this like butter chicken at no cost. Anyways, I also tried the naan which was also some of the best I've had, and the quantity was plentiful. The Mango Lassi was not all that special; not bad, but it doesn't match the quality of the food. Despite some of these shortcomings, I still consider the food here 5 star, because that was literally the best butter chicken I've ever had. As for the atmosphere, it was really nice. The seats were comfortable, the place was clean, and had a cozy feel to it.
Went here on Valentine’s Day with my husband and was extremely disappointed. Our server was nice but the food was extremely bland - ordered chicken pakora it literally tasted like chicken fried in flour and that was it. We then got mattar paneer - again no flavour at all very bland. On top of that the food was served after a very very long time. I heard other people from different tables complaining and I understand it’s busy on Valentine’s Day but it seemed like they were just focusing on the skip the dishes orders. They should have been better prepared. Came here after reading the good reviews but definitely will not be returning and wouldn’t recommend to others. Total rip off.
Great food, and great service. Why isn't this place more busy? We'll be back.
Since finding this restaurant about three years ago, this is our go too for great authentic Indian food! We love the butter chicken and the lamb biryani, really nice portions. The staff is very friendly and attentive, service has always been great.
Best Indian restaurant in Oakville! Delicious food, great ambiance and very friendly staff.
Spectacular! There food has a great hint of Punjabi flare when it comes to some of the dishes. Not oily by most accounts. I would go again.
Amazing place to eat in downtown oakville. Very helpful staff. For those who may think “Indian Food” is not for them because it could be to hot or over spicy, I could say I used to think like that too but the people from this restaurant will change your way of seeing the “Indian Food”. They adjusts the food to your palate. Perfect place for those who are looking for a clean and quiet place to sit and have a good time with friends or family. The food is not the cheapest food you will find around but let me tell you two things, you will be paying for quality and you won’t regret. 4/5 ⭐️
Without a doubt the best chicken I've ever had in any restaurant. They definitely use fresh chicken every time unlike most places that use the leftovers/bad meat. It's pricy and you might wait a little longer but it's worth it. I've been going there for about 2 years and the consistency is unmatched, not only in Oakville but anywhere.
Travelled from brampton especially to go to Corindar Green with my friends. The food was amazing and the service was absolutely fabulous. The price of food definitely is worth it. It was quite obvious the food is fresh and very authentic along with several different options. loved it, will definitely go back and recommend it to everyone.
I went to this place for the second time and was greeted well however the moment i expressed my concern about the dish that had ordered and asked for another dish, the lady who was serving acted weird and did not bother to look at us or ask if we were ok with the food served after the error with the first order. I still left a tip. Not going to this place ever again!!!
Ordered lunch (pick-up) four five and everything was amazing. Top picks - pakoras and the tandoori chicken. We went mild on the spice, which was fairly mild - will try medium next time on a few of the dishes.
I visited this place second time last night and it will be the last time after an upset stomach. I usually do not write reviews unless I like the place and my impression from first visit was so so. Food is average, my shrimp korma was a disaster, shrimps felt like rubber, I wonder how long or how many times they cooked them. I understand charging more at a location that is expensive to rent, but this place does not deserve the prices they charge. They have to change before I set foot there again.
Food was good however extremely overpriced. The prices on the website like it says on the menu are "subject to change" Got two desert for 14$ and it was only four small pieces. The desserts weren't even special in anyway. They tasted like the frozen stuff I buy at the grocery store and heat up. The chicken and lamb was super tasty but not tasty to the point where they were worth the price. I've been to other Indian places that charge way less and are just as good. Would not go there again. If you go thete don't buy the desert there. Rip off.
We ordered from Coriander Green yesterday. The order was placed at 5:34 pm and we were told to come pick it up at 6:50 pm. (expected due to Mother's Day and the challenges with COVID). We got there at 6:50 pm. They asked us to pay BEFORE telling us that the order wasn't ready and it would be at least 20 min. more. No one bothered to call us to save us the trip. There was one person standing there with little to do who could have called. There were at least a dozen people waiting for their food. Then we decided to call ahead before returning and it was nowhere near ready. It was a hassle to cancel since they took our payment. Strategic move on their part. We to call 2 more times. We ended up getting our food at 7:50 pm, 2 hours and 20 min after the initial call and an hour late. The food was lukewarm. Things happen but because of the way they handled the situation, we won't be going back. I fault them for no courtesy calls to save the trip (if we didn't keep calling we would have gone there several times), not telling us initially that it might be later given their issues, or not accepting our ordered because they were obviously unable to handle the volume. Furthermore, I would have expected a coupon, or, adding a little extra food, or, a discount. The icing on the cake was how defensive they were given how I calmly addressed them. We like to support local restaurants especially during COVID and we never experienced such poor service and attitude. I would't be so hard on them if they attempted to rectify this.
ordered on Skip the Dishes since I've heard it's a great restaurant , so I did expect higher prices. Portions are really small and I expected rice to be included, which it was not - assumed by the price it would be included. Will not be ordering again, despite really flavorful dishes, not enough for the price.
Appauled at how over-priced this place is for the kind of food they serve. Had takeout from here on the weekend, thought give it a try. Chicken was hard and dry, no seasoning on meat, tasted funny with very oily curry. Asked for spicy, they just added chili powder instead of making it rich with fresh chillies. Will stick to Avani - never lets us down. Absolute waste of money
We had our first dine-in in months post covid. The staff is very friendly taking all necessary precautions and giving us ample information when reserving a spot. The food and ambience was good. Will definitely visit again.
Quiet old place in heart of oakville, awesome lamb curry, warm welcome. Will come again definetly.
Wonderfully! Full of flavour, perfection on the spices. Everything was aromatic, fresh, and delicious. The staff was friendly and absolutely lovely. Atmosphere was elegant and relaxing. Music wasn't too loud either.
Good place but some issues are like tips are not what they mean they are, tips are stolen by the owner and not given to the waiters who deserve for there hardwork. Overall, it’s good food and good environment but please fix this.
Beautiful and delicious food! Great story to their start and we're in love with this restaurant and everything they cook. If you love Indian cuisine you'll love Coriander Green Oakville.
Ive been three or four times now and its always amazing food. Its my restaurant of choice when im at home. The service is always impeccable. Cannot wait to go back!
Worst experience. They do not know how to treat people. I highly recommened not to go to this place.
I love this restaurant! It is my all time favourite place to eat. It is wreaking of romance. Everything from the food, to the lighting, to the location (right next to the lake) it’s just dynamite. I have never had Indian food this tasty and I highly highly recommend it. It is quite pricy however, so my fiancé and I limit ourselves to eating here only on special occasions. Their palak paneer and garlic naan is out of this world. I also really enjoy their Chana masala.. so flavourful. The chef puts obvious care into the presentation of his dishes as they consistently arrive at your table smelling and looking unbelievable! I’ve been visiting this restaurant for about 8 years now with my fiancé, we consider it our special place we go to for birthdays or anniversaries- to celebrate in an intimate space with one another. I highly recommend anybody to try it out :)
Very good service, especially the young kid who was working there - learning the ropes at an early age. The middle-aged Afghani waiter was also very polite and good at what he did. Sadly, the food was average and my throat started hurting after consuming their Chili Paneer Gravy. Their Coriander Green Rice special was also super average. It's tough to recommend a place that has better service than food, but I'd probably (a big if) give them a second chance in the future!
Nice atmosphere, food was good but lacked that punch you would expect from Indian cuisine. Vindaloo medium had no kick, when in my opinion it should burn your socks off. Portions seem a bit small for the price, but adequate, they certainly wont short change you on Naan though.
Fantastic Indian restaurant in Oakville-we've been in Canada for 3 years and the lamb bhuna we had here was the best lamb we have had in Canada! (Coming from England, we know good Indian restaurant food). Restaurant is hosted by a team of wonderfully friendly and accommodating ladies-they'd actually brought us a lamb biryani instead of the bhuna but swiftly changed it without any issue. Our two year old loved it and so did we...will definitely be back again and so pleased this is our local curry house ????
Nice and clean place. The food is delicious. The service is great. Definitely recommend..
I truly don’t recommend this restaurant. It’s too expensive compared to the served portions!! We tried the chicken tikka masala, it’s too sweet not as the regular masala, it’s more like butter chicken. When we told the waiter she said I don’t eat chicken! Will never recommend this place, and never return to it.
The Indian food we ordered could have been better. We are willing to pay prices higher if the quality matches the experience. Nonetheless, I'd recommend other options in the Mississauga and Brampton area over this restaurant.
Worst Quality Indian food. Just had Chicken Malai, and chicken was overcooked and was watery. #Defaming #IndianFood
4 stars. Great food, but a little pricey. The quality of the rice does not match the quality of the curries. I would suggest getting take out and making some rice at home.
My family and I have become regulars of this restaurant and for good reason! Everything is incredibly delicious and the staff are lovely! My favourite and go to dishes are the vegetarian tikka appetizer, their butter chicken, rice pulao and of course their naan preferably doused with garlic.
My #1 restaurant of all-time right here. A little expensive but seriously delicious, and the naan bread is perfect. I suggest CG Special, Korma, or the Curry, those are my top 3... and of course with garlic naan bread every time.
Ambiance OK, service good. Food is much below average. Unimaginable poor quality Roti for 5 $, you can get 10 times better quality for half its price. Biriyani and curry served looks to have been prepared by a novice. All the spice was on surface, nothing has gone into the flesh, no where near a good Indian dish. I will only go there if I want to spend double the money, not for good food.
I've always thought that the true sign of good quality Indian food is whether it passes the taste test from our old school Indian friends. We had the pleasure of enjoying a meal with such great company recently. They loved it and so did we. We found out later that they went back there two days later for more! Great quantities, quality and taste. Highly recommend. Friendly owners too!
Had the chicken corianda. It was awful. They washed the chicken from a different sauce and mixed into the coriander chicken. It was honestly vile. I currently am nauseated. That said, the ambience and service was really good. Food tonight was tasteless.
Really delicious home style Indian food, not greasy like many other places. Decor is nice and Owners are very hospitable and kind. Happy to have a great Indian place in Oakville!
Delicious NYE dinner with pleasant and courteous curb side pick up service helped us through this home alone evening. We ordered CGS shrimp, CGS eggplant, Lamb Korma and Garlic Naan. All we needed to add was a good bottle of red wine. Thanks Coriander Green.
