Family run restaurant with a good menu. Owner is great, remembers her customers and is very helpful in getting you what you're craving. Portions a a very good size and everything is made to order. The restaurant is clean and is able to accomodate larger groups reasonably well; we were 13 last night and everyone was happy with their dinner. Definately worth checking out of you live in Oakville or if you're driving by then that works too as they're not far from the QEW. I will go again if I am in the area for sure.

We have been occasional customers for a long time. The welcome is always warm and the food excellent. Their Asian Fusion menu is not some watered down excuse of Asian cuisine. If its on the menu you can be assured its pretty close to what you might find in the country of origin. In recent months they are doing a great job of delivering their food through a drivethrough window on the south side of their building. Thanks for being a great part of our Community.

All this positive reviews made me drive all the way here to get a decent Chinese meal but turn out to be mediocre and expensive for the quality of food I got. Spring rolls are decent, but no option to order only one or add on combo. The Tom yum noodle soup with prawn I ordered is over spiced for no particular reason. As a Chinese person, this is the first time I see someone put mushroom in it. Well... without it, it would have been noodles, 3 shrimp and overspiced soup. I received a decent service, but I can see where all the bad service reviews stems from.

A long time friend and I decided to meet up and try the food out at the Celadon House. Celadon House has a very welcoming and calm atmosphere. My friend had already gotten us a spot by the window by the time I got there so there was no need for any waiting. The service was great. I got the spicy Tom Yum soup since it reminds me of back home (Malaysia). The Tom Yum soup comes with the options of either chicken or shrimp however I requested for a vegetarian option and they were able to swap those for mushroom instead. My friend got the Pad Thai with Tofu. I got the appetizer sized Tom Yum soup since I did not want too much to eat, but the potion size was much bigger than I had expected, and to my friend's surprise arrived a huge bowl of Pad Thai. The service sizes are huge, so that's one thing to keep in mind before ordering as one order can feed more than 1 person. The Tom Yum soup met my expectations and did not disappoint. It was delicious, spicy, with a delicate tangy/sour flavour, and the mushrooms were great as well. My friend enjoyed her Pad Thai as well, however did not finish due to the large portion size. Will definitely recommend to check this place out if you're in the area.

Our family has been coming to Celadon House for years now and we love their food and the owners and staff are very friendly. My favourite dishes are the Crispy Sichuan Beef, Calamari, Cha Beehoon, Basil Rice and Foo Chow Rice. Excellent flavours in all their dishes.

Love this restaurant; service is fast and the food is excellent. Any dish that has their peanut sauce would be a winner; I could just eat that. I try to taste something different each time, so I had the curry beef noodle soup - and I will have it again. The broth is light, and the curry beef is excellent. I only recommend this dish if you are hungry or like left overs; it is a full meal.

Went recently with friends, quality and flavor are poor, I ordered an lunch with curry chicken stew, it only has 3 piece of chicken and 5 piece of potato with rice for $12.99, it didn't come with any veges or salad, it charges tips for about 20% automatically with bad service.

Picked up some food on the drive home from Mississauga. The location is very convenient, right off of the highway and easy to get to. The food was ready to go when I walk into pick up my order. The food was a bit costly for the amount of food received. I feel some places are very limited with how much food they place in the cartons of ordered food versus if eating in. This was the case. We ordered some veggie dishes and rice plus a chicken curry dish, there were like 3 pieces of chicken in the entire carton... to my surprise I hope they were just running short on the chicken that day and it’s not their regular practice of limiting their protein. I will give this place a second try, only because it’s not fair to base my review on just one single visit.

Food is fantastic! But is not your average Chinese food as on any other Chinese food restaurant. Flavours are fresh and clean. I have not had the pleasure of traveling to China and having the real thing but this is the best food this side of the pond. My favorites are their mango salad, fried calamari, carousel rice and schezuan beef. I go there every time I am in Oakville, and every time I bring friends they walk out commenting that this was the best Chinese food they ever had and they keep coming back on their own. Give it a try and it will quickly become one if your favorite restaurants for this type of food.

The taste was there, just for the price to portion ratio was a little off. My girlfriend's Pad Thai was really good, i got the kung pow noodles, was disappointed that it was $17 and it was a small take out container of noodles, 1 shrimp, 2 pieces of chicken and the remaining being bell-peppers and onions. Would go back maybe, just wont get the same thing.

The service we received from the lady was shockingly rude. My mother is a strict vegetarian and asked for stir fried veggies and tofu (not on the menu but a simple dish to make). The lady replied by saying "what is that? that's not even a dish". She was completely unwilling to accommodate my mother and made it clear in a rude manner. My mother politely ordered the 2 items on the menu that were vegetarian. The food itself was fine but not worth the treatment we received. Will not return.

A group of us go once a week for lunch at Celadon House. Everything on the menu is so fresh and handmade. I have never had better tasting Calamari at any other restaurant. Hands down the most addictive breading! I love their Green Curry as it is perfectly balanced between heat and flavour. The service is always prompt and friendly so we all look forward to our weekly lunch! Highly recommended!

We are long time customers of Celadon House. The owners Mimi & Glenson are fantastic people that make you feel like family. Their food is fresh made, flavourful and so so good! We have so many favourites its hard to choose but always included in our order is the Crispy Sichuan Beef, Spicy Calamari and either Shrimp Panang Curry or Basil Prawns. As an added bonus it has been great to have the use of the drive thru take out window during the Pandemic. If you have the chance definitely give them a try, I promise you wont be disappointed!

This is a family run unique and immaculately kept small business that makes authentic and delicious Asian comfort food worth a visit (or many visits). Our favourite dishes are the House Fresh Rolls , Sichuan Beef, Four Season Beans and the House Noodle. The hospitality From the Celadon family to ours has always been so welcoming that it helps to feed our souls. And we all need some of that kind of food these days!

I am absolutely floored at the exceptional quality and incredible choices on the menu. I’ve never been to a restaurant where I’ve wanted to try everything on the menu. We’ve been twice in a weeks’ time and have tried a big assortment of different things each time. The lady owner has such a cheeky and entertaining sense of humour and genuinely shows interest in her customers. If you think she’s abrasive, you don’t understand her humour, which is dry but extremely focused and personable. I wish I could name my favourite dish, but everything is delicious. If I were to name two specifically would be the garlic jasmine rice, and the coconut beef (which is listed as very spicy, but is just extremely flavourful). Definitely try this place and arrive early to get a spot.

A very delicious and unique restaurant. We have tried many restaurants in the GTA and downtown Toronto and there is nothing like this place! Cuisine is a mixture of Malaysian, Thai, Filipino, Szechuan, and other Asian countries. Very authentic and yummy dishes, and service is always friendly. We went for takeout the other day and it was very convenient that they had a drive-through window for picking up orders. The server even used a lysol wipe to wipe down the credit card machine before giving it to me! Very thankful for their commitment to cleanliness and keeping the customers safe. Will continue to support this business through these tough times.

Every year I order food from here when visiting my sister & family at Christmas and have never been disappointed. We order & pick it up and it's always tasty, reasonably priced, and very friendly staff. My sister & fam love it and order all the time. Recommended dishes include: fresh house rolls, crispy Sichuan beef, Cha beehoon noodles, shrimp Panang curry, and especially the garlic brown rice. The green mango salad and Pad Thai are also good, but I think Soontorn Bahn Thai downtown Oakville edges them out for these particular dishes. And they cater well to my sesame allergy.

Good food but.... something is seriously off about the treatment we receive. The husband is usually fine but the wife is missing the point about treating all customers (the people who pay to support your business ) the same. She is abrupt, unfriendly, and at times a little rude. On our fourth trip to the restaurant we asked for extra napkins. A table near ours had asked for the same thing. She delivered the napkin to that table of four but the extra one meant for us was dropped on the floor... she picked it up walked over to Us reassembled the napkin and placed it on our table. Another time, we walked in She and her husband looked up.... no smile ... no friendly greeting welcoming us back...she stands up and turns her back to us saying something to her husband... he looks at us and then looks back at his computer. She walks over with two menus directs us to a table and meekly... barely audible says "here you go" placing the menus on the table. Immediately we picked up on her tone. For Each of the five trips to this restaurant we were never difficult, demanding or unreasonable customers to deal with. We paid our bill each time ..... they didn't give us free meals ..... all we hoped for was a modicum of politeness and appreciation that we came back. They really didn't want us there... I get the tone... so I won't go back. Oh... and my impression is that if you're white or Asian you will get excellent treatment... if you're not .... you'll get the owners back.

Well this was a very dissapointing evening for me. I've always loved the food at this restaurant, and to be honest I haven't eaten there in about a year. Tonight I got quite the unpleasant suprise, they have started using chicken so cheap and pumped that it is nearly inedible. This is made worse by the fact that the flavours are all still there and the veggies and shrimp are fine, but the chicken , wow just awful! I'm not sure why the shift to cheaper proteins but at this price point it is a very upsetting. I was able to salvage my meal as it has shrimp and veg, my wife's meal was mainly chicken so she is making dinner for herself as we speak! I really hope they fix their protein quality, until then, I can't recommend that anybody eat here.

My first experience at the door is already a put-off. Instead of being seated, my family waited to be seated for some time. Waitresses prefer to serve drinks rather than seating customers. Normally I would not have mind and every restaurant will face the same challenge. But when a family with a baby in one arm and a toddler is there, waitresses needs to be aware of the customer needs. The ingredients to the soup may be a little too stingy. For example, the Tom Yum soup (2 prawns, 3 mushrooms and 1/4 tomato) for $6.99. Please do better. Taste of food is good but I am not overly impressed to put me above the experience that I have.

Really disappointing. This is the first time we tried Celadon House and ordered take out. We were told 30-40 minutes, seemed like a while, but we thought 'at least they are trying to make it really fresh". We ordered two pad thai and one fresh roll (which is one of their reccos on their menu). The fresh roll came with only two rolls and one of them was broken and had browning lettuce, all the insides exploding out. Hardly any tofu, mainly just noticeably brown lettuce. The chicken pad thai barely had any flavour (surprising for thai food) and had an unpleasant smell. Both pad thai dishes only had 2-3 strips of chicken in them and a few pieces of red pepper...so we basically paid $28.00 dollars for two containers of bland noodles and another $7.00 for the rolls. We won't be eating here again.

Me and my 2 girlfriends come here once a month. The servers always remember us and our order, they are so friendly. The food is unreal, so fresh and delicious. Our favs are: pork wonton soup, chicken adobo, kungpow noodles, crispy beef, and you cannot forget the mouth watering garlic rice. We'll be back next month!

Food is good. However, we have not eaten there in two years although we have been back for lunch three times. There were always empty tables but staff was "too busy" to clear them for incoming guests. Last time about 3 months ago there were about 4 empty tables but we were told we would have to wait 20 minutes for the tables to be cleared for service. Since they didn't seem to want our patronage we left and decided that 3 strikes meant we were not coming back. To my mind they have too few staff and it shows in their attitude and behavior to diners.

This is my go to spot for asian food in Oakville. Food is delicious and service is amazing -- owners make me feel like family! I'm always torn between the Crispy Sichuan Beef or the Chicken Adobo - served on garlic fried rice of course! Never been disappointed!!

Reading these other reviews are wild, how do people go to restaurants and demand things that aren't even on the menu?! The owner is not your personal chef, maybe cook at home next time? Anyways, this place has been excellent and I go with my family every once in awhile. It's our favourite place in Oakville. Always exceptional service with even better food (favorites are Kung pao, garlic brown rice and chicken adobo!). Owner has a great sense of humour if you aren't uptight. Highly recommend checking this place out, you will not regret it!
