What a pleasant surprise! An authentic Peruvian restaurant in Bronte! Cozy, clean, quaint. Quality food, fresh ingredients, well prepared meals and nice presentation. We had the Ceviche, fish and mix seafood! Both very tasty. Worth a visit, you'll get addicted to the taste of delicious dishes. Recommended!

What a beautiful place with nice decor! The alfajores and cakes are simply divine and so are the Empanadas. Gladys, owner, is so warm and friendly and a great cook. I also loved the iced Americano with shredded coconut. Nice ambiance with music and Peruvian art. She also taught me how to make Arepas. They sell some Latin groceries. Prices are really good. I will certainly go back! Eide

When I set foot in Casa Mia Latin Cafe and Restaurant, immediately I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere!! On top of that, the food is excellent and delicious!!! Gladys and Javier are wonderful hosts...feels like being in Peru!

Excellent food, great ambience, amazing staff, fast service. Lomo Saltado was perfect! The lamb shank was tender in a rich sauce - you can tell they simmered it for a very long time! Empanadas were good as well. And…Finally found a place in Burlington/Oakville that serves quantity fit for grown man. Mains were around $27 per order but very filling. They did not have a few things from their menu, and their drink options were really limited. But loved the place. Going back soon!

Casa Mia has a Peruvian theme and the food is absolutely top notch. Most Friday evenings they do a Karaoke night. Actually I think you wouldn't have to pull their am to hard to get their karaoke machine fired up at any part of the day!

This is a gem in Bronte! The food is to die for! My #1 favourite dish is the Peruvian paella with seafood...so delicious, it's a foodie orgasm! Great atmosphere and the owners Gladys (chef) and Javier make you feel so comfortable and truly welcome.

I stopped in at Casa Mia Cafe this week after hearing good things. It's lovely and welcoming inside! Empanadas and alfajores were delicious! Even impressed by Argentine mother, and she's very particular! I'll definitely be back. Nice to support a local, family run business too.

It took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. What bothered me is that people who came after us were served first, and they ordered the same dish! I couldn't help but notice that those who were served first seemed to know the owners and spoke spanish. I love to support small businesses and mom and pop shops but being ignored for service is outright discrimination and I will not be returning.

Food takes too long, literally waited 45-50 minutes for my meal. Staff that dealt with me was a female, super awkward and uncomfortable to talk to. Won't be coming back... felt really weird to eat here. Food is also mediocre

A friendly, cozy, spotless and beautiful cafe with absolutely delicious food and affordable prices. Everything I have tried has been fresh and very tasty. Authentic flavors of Latin American food with a Peruvian touch. Having food there made me feel like I was at home. A new jewel in the Bronte community. I can’t wait to try all the food in the menu! Yesterday I went out to check out this Peruvian place with my family. We called in to see if they have table on the patio and booked it. Once we arrived 25 min later, the table promised was not available. Unfortunately, the trouble only started piling like a snowball from there. We ordered food and waited for an appetizer for 45 minutes (it was delicious tho)! On top of that they forgot that we ordered soup. It never came. For the drinks we asked different servers three times after they brought it. 5 minutes later, only one out of four main course dishes arrived. And they forgot to switch from mash potato to roasted potato ????‍♀️ The rest of the family were sitting hungrily watching one person eat. It was nerve-breaking. We asked when the rest of the meals will be ready, just heard “soon”. I decided to order some empanadas cause we were starving so I asked the server if they are ready (saw them on the tray) and no prep needed. She answered yes and told me that they have only chicken. Fine, right now anything will go. 15 min later - nothing. My husband went in to cancel order because there was not point in waiting, we were getting hungry and frustrated. When at the same time servers were bringing food to another table all the time and one more table was served in front of us. 2 min after another server came to the table telling that the food will be soon. Another 5 min and we see the owner assuring us about the same. At that point it was close to 1.5 hour wait. It's unforgiving. Such a long wait, prices on the higher side, zero services (yes, they are friendly but forgetting special requests and not bringing you what you ordered even if it's juice). My opinion, the tremendous delicious food doesn't compensate for 1.5 hours of wasted time for everyone to get hungry and leave empty-handed. I hope management sees the reviews and will make some adjustments. Maybe two people on Saturday midday is not enough, or perhaps they need a more time-oriented cook. No family weekend outing shouldn't be so stressful!

Terrible service. Food took over an hour to get to our table. When it finally came they brought my wife’s plate and then 20 minutes later (when she was nearly done) they brought mine. Not even an apology for the wait. We saw an employee scratch some dried food remnants off a “clean” plate with his finger before putting it in front of an unsuspecting customer to eat off of. Two stars because the food was ok - nothing special. Lots of better places to eat in Bronte - would not recommend this one.

WOW. This place is just AMAZING!! A foodie paradise, and just the warmest, coziest environment you could ever imagine. Gladys (owner and chef, and what a chef!) welcomes you with so much charm and kindness, this place is really something else. And the food simply delicious. Try the lamb, or the mediterraneum chicken! Damn... I'm making myself hungry just thinking about it. Everything is served incredibly fresh and natural, Gladys prepares everything daily. Please, if you are reading this: start driving, walking, bike riding... This place is a true hidden gem! A million stars!!

Wonderful restaurant! Food is all made fresh to order and tastes just like your mother or grandmother made it! The owners are a very lovely Peruvian couple and make you feel right at home when you are there! The decor is lively, colourful, and feels "home-y". Overall, the restaurant is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food tastes absolutely incredible! Takes a little longer than "bigger, chain restaurants" to receive the food but it is well worth the wait! You can truly taste the difference in every bite! Would 10/10 recommend and return again soon!

Food was good but expensive for what it is - $20+ for main courses that should really be $10-15 at most. $12 for some fried yucca for an appetizer was also expensive. Everything seems double the price. $70 for 1 shared app and 2 main courses, no drinks is excessive for a basic place. Service also very awkward and uncomfortable.

AMAZING cafe and restaurant. The food is so fresh and bursting with flavour. The cook makes everything fresh every morning and continues to cook throughout the day. The waitress is the most lovely woman, she takes the time to talk to each and every customer to make sure they get exactly what they want and truly feel like they're eating with family. There is also a Latin market to buy some products to take home and they even have music and karaoke some nights! Their cakes/desserts and the dinner specials are my absolute favourite! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Stopped off this morning to check out this little cafe/restaurant. It really is a "hidden gem" in Bronte. They are new to the area and believe me you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere and decor is very relaxed and comfortable. Gladys the owner will make you feel at home. They feature sandwiches from $3.99-5.99 as well as nightly dinner specials for $12.00! I can't wait to go back to have their rack of lamb on Thursday night. Please everyone, try this out for yourself and spread the word around. Amazing place! Delicious, outstanding and lovely homemade Peruvian food. They have a whole bunch of options to choose for anytime of the day, Empanadas, alfajores, the greatest cakes, perfect desserts to pair of with the variety of coffee, smoothies and drinks they offer. We love Peruvian foods and have been fortunate enough to taste some of the very bests in Peru and around the world. As such, we hold Casa Mia to a high standard. Casa Mia serves average tasting Peruvian dishes. We ordered Lomo Saltado, mixed Ceviche, Paella, Octupos, and Peruvian fish tonight. Out of all, only Paella was slightly above average. The dishes have the required ingredients, maybe even in the right proportions, but are not flavorful as the way they should be. While not perfect, service is polite and attending. Prices are on the high side and the restaurant interiors require an upgrade.

We waited at least an hour for our meal to arrive. It finally arrived, but mine didn't, my son got the wrong meal which they fixed, however my meal didn't arrive until half hour after everybody else had been served. So everybody ate and I had to eat alone.
