Beer menu can be a bit pretentious. I just want a beer. Have a normal persons beer menu and the beer menu for the enthusiasts. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to figure out which beer was the most basic beer. But the burger was great. Beer and a burger the best birthday dinner.

I have been to this place a few times, and have enjoyed it, however, was there last night and have to say it was disappointing. The service was just ok and not sure if they changed chefs but the buttermilk chicken was awful. Last couple of times it was great. We sent it back, the server said keep your fries and will make up a new chicken for you. That's great, but maybe give a new order of fries since they will get cold by the time the chicken comes back. Was expecting a manager to at least come to our table, that didn't happen. The burger was just ok. I go because I love the Super salad but if you're not going to be consistent with the food, I'm afraid we won't be back.

Oakville needed another place like this - will definitely put some pressure on Harpers Landing down the street to improve on their offering! Great place for a casual dinner and beer. Had the truffle parmesan fries, tuna bowl and sampled the vegan menu (which is extensive and impressive) lots of staff who are very attentive - will definitely be back! Make reservations though it was packed!!!

Great spot to meet with friends and family, beertown is host to hundreds of different beers, stouts and ales etc. They also have a large variety of diffrent sodas i.e Jones, the pop shoppe etc. The food is fantastic! You can tell how fresh it by the beautiful colors, tastes and smells. I have yet to try something on the menu which i didn't enjoy. Well worth the visit!

My wife and I love the food at Beertown Oakville, we drive all the way from Thornhill just to eat there! The food, service and atmosphere has always been excellent, but last week August 8th, 2020, we had our first issue. It was cleared up right away and handled professionally by the General Manager Megan Bousfield, thanks Megan for taking the initiative to make things right, we really appreciated it, and we will be back very soon!

Fantastic experience today at beertown. We had lunch with our daughter and son-in-law the southern fried chicken and fish tacos were absolutely slamming! It was a hot day so we sat inside still got a nice breeze and enjoyed a nice paddle of local beers. Would definitely come back again, staff were super nice Our server Matt pulled out all the stops we were impressed. Thank you again for the hospitality.

Great service, great food, good beer! Had a couple flights to try something new... Could have chosen better, thus "good" beer rating. Food: Pretzel was a great app and the sauce was terrific. The fish tacos are the biggest fish tacos you've has anywhere in the GTA and are quite tasty (and San Diego is my third home so...) Now the brisket nachos, don't order this often except at Rogers Centre (Kings Club), but this was divine, really hit the spot! Will definitely be going back.

Oakville Gets a New Bar and it’s Great ???????? Very Fast service, massive choice of Beer but if you aren’t a beer drinker they still have you covered with an extensive range of wine and cocktails. Food menu is varied lots of good choices. If you are lucky enough to get a place on the patio right now take it, their hanging baskets are something else...amazing! The location is perfect right by the GO station so ideal for a quick stop at the end of the day.

I went there for the first time last night. The food and service were good. The washroom situation is a bit disturbing and frankly not safe for women. The hand washing station is communal and there are no doors to the entrance to the men's or women's toilet areas. It's nothing short of creepy, because let's face it, every woman knows what too many men are capable of once they've had a few drinks. Sad statement about the world we live in. Restaurant owners should really rethink the bathroom design before they end up getting sued for not protecting patrons.

Been to this restaurant before in Waterloo and Cambridge and always enjoyed my visits and food. Decided to try out the Oakville location before catching the GO Train to a concert in Toronto. Came around 4:30 and it was already getting pretty busy with the after work/dinner crowd. We got a table promptly though. As soon as we sat down, we were given a beer sample by one of the staff members and we thought "oh nice way to sit down, a sample of beer to welcome us" but we later came to the conclusion we got the sample by mistake. Our waitress came and took our drink orders, my boyfriend got his drink rather quickly but I waited a good 20 minutes just for a glass of WATER, not sure why they didn't come together. The waitress came several times to ask if I'd received my drink yet and she kept apologizing when she'd come back and I yet to receive it, yet I was still waiting? I didn't realize it was so difficult to bring out a glass of water, probably something that should be immediately given to a table anyways. Finally our waitress brought it over saying that one of the floor staff brought it to another table, which led us to realize we definitely got the sample by the same mistake. Other than that, our food came quickly and both meals were very good much like the other locations I've visited. I found we had a different person for every moment though, one person for drinks, another brought our meal and another took our plates away, plus the original waitress. Seems like a lot of different people wandering around and making it a little chaotic, so I can see why mistakes are made but maybe it'll work itself out over more time being open. Our waitress though was very friendly and apologetic for the drink wait, so I don't want to put the blame on her. I probably won't be back to this location just due to proximity to where I live, but I'll definitely be back to other locations as I really like the atmosphere and food.

Tuna bowl came with canned mango. Even if you go a simple Asian restaurant you will be served real mango. Lemon on the drinks had bad blotch. The place is cool, however, some of the ingredients in the dishes were not carefully selected.

We chose this spot simply because they have televisions on their nice big patio which made it perfect for watching Canadian tennis history. The beer selection is by far the largest (for a restaurant) in Oakville and should easily satisfy any beer enthusiast. They have their staples as well as a constantly rotating batch of new arrivals. A decent cocktail list and some wine. Food options are what you'd expect from a beer-centered restaurant; apps, sharables, mains and gluten free and vegan dishes. I would say the beer is the star here (as the name suggests) and everything else plays a supporting role.

Love Beertown, have been many times at the Burlington location. Have tried Oakville location a few times in the past year, and have to say I was disappointed. The food this past visit was mediocre, seasoning, cold fries, and asked for new fries they came really fast, but again was cold. Have had the pad Thai in both places, Oakville location was pretty soupy. Service all times have been lacking as well, disappear when we need something, than have to go to bar to ask for waters, ketchup, etc after waiting 20 ish min for our server to return. Overall, this location has great ambiance, but the lack of kitchen attention to the food, and lack of server appearances has us not wanting to return. Also it was freezing! This review was a collective of experience pre covid- to today, and not much improvement has been made. Burlington location is our spot.

During these covid moments, this place was not worth going to. 45 min wait times if you don't have a reservation. You have only 40 minutes to eat becuse there is reservation for your table, so you have to eat in a hurry. The food was good but the coffee price $4 was a little bit high. I think during normal ti.es this place was probably alot better.

Hosts, servers etc. are very welcoming at this much needed gathering place in Oakville which has a terrific selection of craft beer. It's not only about the beer though, the food is very tasty if you ask me, and the menu will appeal to a wide variety of tastes!!

Just felt so good to be back on a patio! Things were a little different but all good. Met outside by host and ushered thru the restaurant to the patio. Loved the photos of all the celebs inside at the tables and bars. Service was quick and attentive. Friendly staff. Tables are distanced sufficiently apart. I ordered the lettuce wraps and they were delicious! Looking forward to going back.

Beertown + Family = Happy They never fail to provide great service, great food and of course great selection of Beer. The staff are friendly, fun and have great product knowledge. Great beer selection. Disappointed in the fish taco as the sauce overpowered the taste of the fish. Also very noisy you almost have to shout to be heard across the table. My husband and I have came here countless times, and it's one of our favourite dine in experiences. We loveeee the food. We tried curbside pickup today for Valentines, and we were beyond happy with our service. I requested a note put on a napkin or paper for my husband to see (just a short happy Valentines day, I love you etc), and they instead went all out writing the note with hearts etc on the bag. Super sweet, and we couldn't be happier!

Fantastic service. Great atmosphere. Not loud (we could actually talk at normal levels ????????). Our waiter was very knowledgeable and served us the perfect beers according to our taste description. His recommendations for food and beer were all ????% spot on. We had the Wonton Nachos which were a unique dish, not greasy like regular nachos, full of flavor and crunch and a massive plate for 2 of us. Will definitely be back.

I've been here a few times now for either brunch or dinner and the experience was great each time. The atmosphere is lively and comfortable. Good selection of different seating for small or big groups or just posting up at the bar for a game with a buddy. Staff has also been very accommodating at busy times and they do a good job of taking care of you if you end up waiting for a seat. My favourite thing about this place is the menu. It's finally something different in the area. They have managed to give you that pub food experience without it being the same boring choices you see at every other pub/beer house style restaurant. I try something different every time and have never been disappointed. The cherry on top is the drink selection. Whether you just want a standard lager or are exploring the vast array of beers out there you can find what you're into here. Not to mention the killer cocktail list they have! Gin fizz? Yes. I'll take 2, thanks. Also of note, they have a good selection of vegan and gluten free options if that's your jam. I've been witness to some raving reviews of the vegan menu so I'd say it's worth checking out. Overall this is my favourite pub/beer house in the area. Great creative menu, unrivalled drink selection and quality throughout.

Good place for a vegan meal in the Halton Region. The vegan/plant-based nachos were my favourite and were prepared to perfection. The “chick’n” California sandwich I had was less than stellar. The patty was rubbery and the flavour and toppings on the sandwich was just awful. Our server was lovely and my friend enjoyed her kale salad with chicken.

The have a reservation system to ensure staggered arrivals. Tables were spread out. They were wiping down tables and chairs. Servers were all masked. Menus are online only so bring your device. Food and drinks were as they were pre Covid.

Great Patio / Vibe. Plant based menu has many options but only problem is they use the same fryer for non vegan options which kind of defeats the purpose of a plant based menu when some of the items are getting fried in the same oils as meat including the French fries. So we had to ask to pan sear our dishes. I don't understand why they can't just have one dedicated fryer for the vegan options and French fries. Hopefully management can make this improvement.

Neat spot! Great decor. The kegs stratigcally placed all over the resturant makes for a good story. Food was great. Messed up my order but promptly fixed and apologized! We all ordered burgers. I asked for mine on lettuce leaf instead of a bun for health reasons. The put it in cabbage leaves but the bottom part was from the core of the cabbage, the part we usually throw out. I could not eat it I complained but they did not offer a solution. Not impressed

Previously been to only the Waterloo location - I liked this one much more. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was good. I'm not one to order a salad for dinner but I'm already craving the steak and blue cheese salad again. We tried a bunch of cocktails and all of them were so good. They improved on the Cambridge / Waterloo chain flavour and filled a desperately missing niche in Oakville. Good beer menu obviously, at least for a chain. Food is ok. Service is good but you'll be waiting during busy times (no reservations at peak hours). I've been to Waterloo location more times than I can count, and except for the wait, this far exceeds.

Lots of selection on tap and in the bottle. Make a reservation. We got shoved at the bar because all the tables were reserved. Same tables sat empty the entire time we were there and were still empty when we left an hour later. Food is great (and quick) with lots of options for differing tastebuds. Try a flight!

Just came back home not too long ago from this location and I was not pleased. In the beginning it was going well. My friend and I received our drinks/food pretty quickly and the food was delicious. As time went on our server would circle around everyone's table serving them but would not come to our table. Our plates were already taken at this point and our glasses were empty and the server still did not come to us. I had one of my friends go up to the bar to order some drinks and they advised him to sit down and told him that a server will come to us shortly, but never did. We literally waited another hour since we wanted to order drinks and some dessert but she never came. So we decided to take the bill and not to tip. She seemed angry and she was not friendly at all. She just crumpled up our receipts and did not even say anything to us after we paid. Also, when my friend asked "what type of beers do you have" the server replied "it is a long list, look up the menu" which is fine but she did not even care to help him out and give recommendations. I never had this bad service before. The worst part is that I was celebrating my birthday with my two best friends that I have not seen in awhile. So to celebrate my birthday and not enjoying my time was so upsetting and I felt bad for my friends too as they were not happy with the service either. I suggest training the servers to make sure to check up on every table and to make sure customers are being served because that is their job! If you are circling around every table but one - that one table will clearly notice. Not interested in coming back after this.

Enjoyed a nice business lunch today at the newest Beertown, that has just opened up here in Oakville. The restaurant has a very cool vibe going right now as it was not too busy. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. Feel free to test your waiting staff on the beers on hand with the massive beer selection available when compared to Bru or the other local establishments. The food did not disappoint. I had the Southern Fried chicken, which I recommend with the gravy as a add-on and my co-workers both had the Steak Frites which looked very good. My only concern would be the parking. Considering the Whole Foods dominates the parking lot, not too sure what this place will be like for parking during the week.

Happy they opened a location closer to where we are as the couple of times we wanted to go to Beertown Burlington they were quite busy and we hadn't had a chance to visit. After this visit I can see why they've got the reputation they do, as it will definitely be a place we'll be back to. All the food was flavorful and well enjoyed by all of our party. We started with nachos which were tasty, I personally wished they had a little more jalapenos on them, some in our group may have disagreed. My main was the Steak & Blue salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the salad was a nice dinner. I don't think I've ever said this before, but I wish there was a little more salad to go with the steak. For dessert we went with the dessert platter which was a nice end to the meal. The beer selection is amazing, and the rotating taps keep a solid variety of beers flowing. Looking forward to seeing what kinds of brews they'll be bringing in, especially with their casks on Thursday.

It is amazing to be able to visit a pub environment or any restaurant for that matter and get such a large array of plant based menu options. Not only is the selection huge but the food was delish. I have the Plant Base Taco Main with the Plant Based Truffle Fries and they were amazing. They also have a huge selection of beer. What a great option for vegans and veggies who love a good pub food night and great beer. The manager was also super helpful when it came to making a beer choice. If Beertown was in Ottawa and the quality as good as Oakville, I would be a regular,

We have been to Beertown in Burlington and have now been to the Cornwall location twice. Great location and menu. I imagine it will get better with time but the staff seemed disoriented and confused. Very slow on food, drink and bill delivery. Lots of staff wandering around not knowing where to deliver food. Training seems to be an issue. We will be back with the hopes it improves or it’s back to Harper's.

Visited at around 6pm on October 19. Service was great, beer menu is great, food was average and I found the prices to be way too high but mostly the atmosphere was not for me . Really loud making any conversation difficult and you are really packed in tight. The family at the table next to us was really nice and we struck up a nice conversation but I prefer a bit more privacy. The tight seating arrangement, the speed that they turn the tables and the acoustics made me feel like I was in a mall food court. Worth a try for the beer and great service but just not my kind of place.

Hoping to have a nice experience at this restaurant for the first time for some appetizers and a beer on Sunday afternoon after some major garden work and was absolutely disappointed and saddened. We waited outside the door while the couple in the small foyer were looked after by the hostess. Once they were taken to their table, we entered the inner door and waited to be seated. A table had to be cleared and cleaned and while we waited another couple entered and stood directed behind us - less than 2 feet and not wearing masks. Mentioned something to them about a mask and immediately was hit with a barrage of verbal abuse....not Beertown’s fault. We were then seated at a table very close to the door and were extremely surprised that neither of the two staff that then greeted the unmasked couple mentioned nor asked them about wearing a mask. We were then further astounded when they were led from one end of that restaurant to the other looking for a table of their choice. Right after that our server came to our table and we asked to speak to the Manager who, when we explained the situation, basically said “oh well what can we do - we can’t force anyone to wear a mask”. Well, yes, actually you can! It’s a bylaw and common provincial requirement. Any other restaurant has the policy that you must have a mask to enter and yes you can choose not to wear a mask but then decide to go elsewhere. If Beertown is not being compliant on this requirement, then what else are they not doing? We left and had a lovely time at another establishment that is abiding by the rules.

Went tonight and called ahead, not accepting reservations. Got there and only patio seating avaialble. Maximum 10 inside. Forgot about new gov't Covid restrictions for indoor gatherings. Big indoor place plenty of space to socially distance but rules are rules. So patio it is, 3 degrees outdoor temp, heaters on patio bu NO plastic shutters, plexiglass to be found. Wind howlng on patio making it feel much colder. Roof also wide open. You think by now they would cover sides and roof like so many have. This is a not true heated patio. Wait staff all good, pretzel apps good, but cmon enclose the patio already

The PROs: Great food and great atmosphere. The place is also pet friendly. I loved their burgers. The lamb burger was juicy and excellent. The beef brisket burger was absoluty amazing with a tinge of smokey flavors. I also really enjoyed their truffle fries. The food was definitely the highlight for our party. The CONs: The service was extremely slow on a Sunday late afternoon when the place was not busy. We initially had a reservation for the patio and since it was a hot day, the server was kind enough to find us a spot inside. That was the only nice part about the service. It was about 30-40 mins before someone came to take the orders and a very long wait till we got our drinks and our food . The service was unbearably slow.

Beertown is a nice enough local place that is brand new and clean. They have a lot of staff on to ensure a good level of service. The food is just Ok. I had the Turkey burger and it was more bun than burger and the wings were alright but not great, especially if you are looking for classic pub-style wings. We had very nice and friendly server who helped make the experience enjoyable even if the food wasn't the best.

Highly recommend this item and location. Great staff! Update: Sept.5/2021- Very poor experience this visit. The girls that helped me made it very confusing and awkward to order a take out meal. Extremely unprofessional. I won't return on this basis, customer service is everything to a restaurant and I won't accept it again. Went from a 5 star first impression to a 2 star poor experience. The food is the only thing that keeps this from a 1 star.

I was dining in with my mom, sister and brother tonight and the food was really good but the waitress we had tonight (wore red glasses, long straight hair and black shorts to the knee) was very slow and giving attitude. We asked for straws, and napkins and it took her so long to come and give it to us that I had to leave my table to go inside and tell her that if we can get straws when we were waiting for 30 minutes or so. Towards the end we asked for containers and she took very long to come and get them as well so we just asked for the bill and asked if there is bags and she just said take care to us, so my mom had to go into the store and ask her to give us bags and she gave a lot of attitude and was really slow. The service was very bad tonight, but the food was amazing, it would have been a way better experience if the service was better. I went to Beertown in Burlington a few times and they were booked so we booked at Oakville location for the first time tonight for a reservation and was just disappointed with the service!

The food is SO good. And there is great gluten free options. Service though? Not good. Management at this establishment would be wise to crack down on the wait staff here. We waited for 20 minutes to even be greeted at our table. Our . I could see the kitchen from our table and countless times when I was needing something (refills, food to be ordered, etc) I could see the waitress talking in the kitchen with other staff members. Returned a few weeks ago with some friends at 7pm on a Wednesday night. The wait time to be seated was an hour wait so we put our name down and waited in the area. After an hour we returned back to restaurant as we had not heard from them about our spot in line. We ended up having to wait an extra half an hour at the doors till they had a table ready for us. We ordered fries as an appetizer to start. Long after finishing the server had told us he forgotten to put our mains through. We decided to wrap up the bill and call it a night. I had to redo this review as this experience has me hesitant to return. I understand with COVID it’s normal to expect longer wait times but waiting from 7pm-10pm just for some fries wasn’t worth it.

First off, the first time I came across this gem was in guelph. What in the world?! How is this place not already in Toronto?! I love the food! The servers at this location are sweet and know how to make you enjoy your time out. Food comes out quick, even when it is busy and the food is always yummy. I was here today with friends after church and we were seated outside. The weather was beautiful but what made it even better was the food and service! The display and taste of the food was so delicious and the portion sizes were exactly the right size. Each bite was savored and theoughly enjoyed! The cherry on top was our server Molly - shoutout to Molly, if you ever have her as a server you are blessed! She was so kind, friendly and patient with helping us pick what we wanted and answer any of our questions. It's experiences like this that will make you want to tell others and recommend this place to friends and fam (or complete strangers on reviews????). Are you in Oakville and looking for beer? Guess what, bud? You've found it! I've lived in Vancouver for the last 10 years and haven't found anywhere else that doesn't think Stella Artois is the pinnacle of flavour other than this place right here. Don't bother going anywhere else for a flight because I'd even go so far as saying you may as well stop ordering beers at any other establishment in town. Rotation is spectacular here and food wise? I'm surprised that anyone even bothers with the Landing down the road anymore. Go for the tuna tacos or brisket plate, you won't be disappointed. This is the only place!

I love Beertown! Started with a beer flight from their Rotational Pours and followed with two great mains. The Lamb burger for me and lettuce wrapped chicken for my wife. All excellent. Beertown had a great atmosphere. It was busy, nachos were good. 2 beers and 2 shots later over the course of 2 hours and my date and I were informed of the very strict serving policies and we would not be served anymore drinks. Never seen that happen before, ruined the vibe and so we went to Harpers down the road to resume. Customer beside us shared a similar story when they had a 20 person gathering there, that they were cut off quickly. If you aren't interested in drinking more than a couple beers , this seems to be a nice place.

I had a negative experience during my first visit here; -> waiter was short and impatient with my group, actually rolling his eyes at us at one point -> when the flight of beers came, they were served so clumsy, they spilled and were dripping on my legs the whole evening -> Worst of all, I ordered a specifically plant based item and received the meat equivalent. I only found out after I’d taken a bite. The supervisor and waiter were apologetic about the last item which is why this is two stars and not one however i would not recommend this restaurant due to rude wait staff and sloppy execution

Being almost vegan, I respect this menu. Almost every item on the menu has a plant based option. I had the plant based hot chicken. There is small Vegan menu here so immediately I was intrigued. Servers were extremely attentive. I was asked at least 3 times if Id been helped while waiting for take-out. This was our first visit and we went with vegetarian friends. It was an excellent meal! As a committed carnivore I might have been a little trepidatious but I was really impressed with the execution. I visited here on a Saturday evening around dinner time. Places like this on game night should staff up, prep better in anticipation of being busy. Nice place to have a drink/food before heading to the GO Train (Oakville station is right across the street). Great customer service as I was uncomfortable sitting indoors at the bar for a quick drink (COVID times) and they sat me on the patio. Great covid friendly service. Big patio with fairly good umbrella coverage for each table. Got there just before the dinner rush, quick to serve us waters and initial round of drinks. Got the brisket sandwich, generous helping of tender brisket. Great slaw on the sandwich, good amount of sauce. Fries were perfect, not too sure about the ketchup, more of an HP sauce. Bun was also very fresh. Second COVID visit. Masks now required while inside and provided at the front door. Had the fish tacos and fried chicken sandwich. Surprised at how much fish was in each taco. Taste was fantastic. The kale salad was a sub for fries and is 1.99 extra. Hot sauce definitely a decent level of heat. Fried chicken sandwich is a thigh and while it does look quite massive, the amount of meat failed to deliver. Maybe I just got a thigh that was on the smaller side. Flavors were great, hot sauce on the side would really set this off though. Ketchup was less HP-saucy this time.

Cons: price... 2 appetizers should not cost more than a main course, especially since none of my appetizers had any upgrades of any kind. I.e. meat. In the middle: Drinks are pretty standard at around $8/drink and the mojito was what I expected it to taste like (good mix of alcohol to nonalcoholic contents). Summary: For a meatless venture and a couple drinks plus tax n tip...$55. Would I return? Most likely not. I enjoyed my time with my friends but the food/ restaurant itself is nothing special.

It's hard to mess up a fried chicken sandwich but the bun was tasteless, the chicken wasn't crispy and was probably half the size it should have been and the toppings were just sad. Great food and large selection, also appreciate the vegan and GF options. Drinks were delicious. Atmosphere was great and patio was spacious. Unfortunately, the service was not as good and needs quite the improvement. The server would take a drink order from 1-2 of us and then walk away before the others could ask for a drink if they wanted one. When drinks were delivered, old empty glasses were left on the table making it quite crowded. Was given 1 food menu, 2 side plates and 2 rolls of cutlery for our group of 4. Waited so long to get our food order taken that we called over another server passing by. These are just a couple of the issues we ran into while at Beertown. Completely understand that it has only been open for a few weeks but when you're located in an area like this, it's expected that the restaurant will be busy and servers should know how to manage without leaving their tables unattended. Great selection of unique beer. Had a Nordic stout and shared fish tacos and warm pretzels with dips apps: both were really good for a mid-afternoon snack. Definitely will return as there are a lot of interesting brews to try, as well as other food. Can't wait until it's warmer to be more comfortable on their patio.

Service was friendly, but not great. I ordered my second beer (an excellent rotating draft) before the meal came; I got the beer when I was almost finished my meal. And as for the meal ... I had the spicy fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was absolutely delicious. But the bun crumbled whenever I bit into it; fresh, it was not. I'll give it another chance, but I hate having to specify that I want a fresh bun.

Cool atmosphere and great beer selection. Food was ok. The menu is great in terms of selection but I’ve been twice since they opened and everything I’ve had is descent but it’s hampered by where they cheeped out. The nachos could be much better with a better quality chip. The Yucatán bowl would be miles better if they used something with more flavor than iceberg lettuce and included properly cooked rice. Fish tacos if they dialed back the salt and included something like an avocado crema for flavour would make it a much better item. It’s a shame because the menu has so much potential but they just seem to have cheeped out in small but important ways that really detract from then quality of their food. I’ll go for a beer and watch the game. But I’ll eat somewhere else

First experience there tonight and was very impressed. Great service, ambiance, decor, beer selection AND best of all was delighted to see a gluten free and vegan menu. Conveniently right by the GO station. Hope they keep this up because I look forward to go there again.

Was basically rushed out of the restaurant. The reato was empty and the only place the employee tries to give us is in the corner beside the kitchen!!! The server kept asking if we wanted the check. Completely rush and we weren’t even close to closing time!! It was 9 pm!! Horrible service, dessert wasn’t so bad though! Would go again but maybe during the day so I can get better service. I would hope!

Burgers are amazing!!!!! No frozen patties, and they dont feel heavy but are filling. Beer well its in the name, so you know your good there.

Great service from our bartender and our server Sierra. They really made our night enjoyable and made sure that we were happy. Great experience. Exactly what a night out is supposed to be like. We will be back many times.

Left dinner still hungry last night… This is how my fish & chips came out of the kitchen. Two tiny little pieces of fish that is mostly batter. One of the people at my table ordered the same thing and asked our waiter about the portion size. When the manager came out he said “the supplier has been giving us much smaller fish so we have been giving two small fish instead of one big one”. This clearly is not enough fish to be served as an entree, especially compared to the typical portions size. Somehow the supplier not providing adequate sized fish is the customer’s problem rather than Beertown’s.

Nice atmosphere in summer (patio) and winter the layout allows it to be busy without being crazy loud. Good variety of on tap drinks. Great menu and includes extra menus form vegetarians, vegans etc. Those dishes are very tasty and not just an afterthought. I have had great service every time I have been day or night.

I’ve always been an avid supporter of the hospitality industry, even more so now in these tough pandemic times. I visited Beertown today for the first time despite having passed by it numerous times. I can attest that you will not be disappointed with your visit here. My date and I both ordered the Asian Salmon Bowl. It was well-seasoned, perfectly cooked and it came in a substantial portion size. For the beer lovers like myself, they have 35 beers available on tap. From you lights to IPAs to your stouts and darks. They have them all. Our server Michelle was phenomenal from the get go. She ensured our drinks never went empty and that we were completely satisfied with our meals. Furthermore, we were approached by the manager Amy to further solidify that we were enjoying our time at Beertown. Situated near in the entertainment core of Oakville, I would not hesitate to visit Beertown again or recommend it to my friends and family.

My girlfriends and I had such a great experience at the Burlington location that we had to try out Oakville... we were not disappointed! Service was incredible by both our server Andrew and the manager on duty. They took care of our table like we were regulars. Food was incredible! (Spinach dip is 10/10) The drinks were so good it made me wish I wasn’t driving.. ???? Great experience overall, thanks Beertown!

I wasn't sure what to expect as this was my first time and it's fantastic - amazing menu, great service and fun atmosphere. It's really tough to decide what to order and what's great is that there is something for everyone - even quite a few vegan and gluten-free options. The fish tacos were my favourite as were the sauces that come with the fried chicken - a mustard and a really tasty ranch dressing. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was another home run and worth the calories and visit. I'm not a beer drinker but I can see why those who prefer beer would enjoy the large selection. I will be back!

A great place to sample a huge list of craft beers. The Super salad,Yucatan bowl ,and the Carolina chicken salad are entrees that will certainly fill your empty stomach. Each dish is uniquely presented as very flavourful. The staff are very friendly .

Not a bad place for drinks but wouldn't recommend it for food. The calamari didn't taste good at all. It was bland and hardly had any flavor. We also ordered the southern chicken..this dish was better however not up to par. Decent ambience, decent service...just not too fond of their food.

Went with a large group tonight and food was great, server was friendly and professional, but was actually surprised when the server had to cut off service to our group. We had over 10 people at the table. I was the sober one of the group and have to admit the manager was a bit out of line to explain that they already served us 6 shots in 1 hour so they cut off our service as it's not the image they want .. of a group of girls getting drunk. From a sober perspective, the manager was totally in the wrong for making this judgement call and was extremely unprofessional about it. Hard to say if I'll be making my way back to this overly priced, judgemental restaurant.
