Great food and very good service. If you want some real Chinese food after days out on your vacation, this is the place. We order some noodle soup and it taste just like the one we make it home. Definitely go back again.

For some reason there's terrible reviews. I have been a regular there for years. I go there about once a month. Not a single complaint. Service is quick and friendly. The food tastes great and all of their dishes are always spotless and hot i might add from their washing machine i assume. Buffets are always re stocked whenever there's a shortage and the washroom's always clean. Some might add that they sit at tables and stuff sometimes. But what they dont get is that its pretty much their home. Its a family run resturaunt i believe. They're people not machines. Why feel awkward? Yeah they're not professionals but they come fast, serve friendly and the food tastes good.

Tried calling at 10 to place an order as they close at 10:30, and got hung up on a few times. Once they picked up the phone, they just picked it up and walked away (I’m assuming so I’d stop calling) and I listened to them talk in the background. Would be nice if you just picked up the phone and informed me you’re closing early instead of being so rude. Says a lot about your business. This is why red apple is always a last resort.

Buffet is always cold, they leave the food uncovered. They bread their shrimp with the legs and shell on...my mum found out the hard way. What's the point of the breading? Brought it up with the waiter and he just said that's how they do it. Bathrooms are gross. Service is ok.

The food is quick and tasty. I can't prepare a meal as fast for my fussy family, so when we are hungry, we go to the Red Apple. The staff are friendly and our cups are never empty. A favourite for the family is the special chow mein. My son loves the grill cheese. My personal choice is won ton with noodle. For an affordable diner experience, I recommend the Red Apple.

Not even sure why the slop the red apple serves is even worth the 3.8 stars it has. Been there twice to give it a second chance and the food is discustng. Do not eat here it's gross and not even good to feed to dogs. The clientele that this place gets seems to suit the place.

From my few experiences there... I'd say that the look of the restaurant itself is very shabby and rundown. Their overall menu options are very few and the food is very cheap. It is also very dirty, but the servers themselves are friendly... but they don't seem very professional in their jobs. An example would be that the restaurant wasn't very crowded and the workers just sat around at the tables making it very awkward for actual paying clients. They don't seem to take much pride in their appearance and how they present themselves.

I am a local and I will never eat here nor will I recommend the restaurant to anyone. I was served a rubber seal in my food that was wrapped in dough served in pot stickers. I brought the food to the attention of the manager on duty, he said they did not make it. So where exactly did it come from? They do not make the food they serve? Went on to say I had to pay the full bill (which I did). I will also add that I have also been served food that was not fresh, it appeared to be refried and hard, again complained but no resolve. I will never be back.

Buffet offered some healthy choices and lots of deep fried items I avoided. I enjoyed beef+ broccoli in black bean sauce, mixed vegetables and fruit for dessert. Won ton soup also okay. Seems like good menu selection. Basic food, okay selection. Ambience is a diner with little to inspire you. Bathroom was needing tidying. Servers were friendly and did well.
