Korean pork cutlets are thinner than Japanese ones, but they are generous in volume, accompanied by fried dumplings, salads and too much rice. Even if you say you eat in the store, it is served in a take-away container. I think that many people take home because they can't eat completely. In the very northern region where ingredients are expensive and difficult to buy, you can eat so much deliciously, so there is no complaint even if the price is slightly higher. During my stay, I visited twice, and the female boss was very friendly, the inside of the store was clean, and above all, there were many local guests during the meal and it seemed popular. All of the food was provided in a disposable lidded container so that the leftovers could be packed after meals and warmed up when returning to the B & B. The kimchi and the side dishes were well packed and the conversation was very good in Korean. I'm going to come to Canada and eat Tteokbokki ~ ???? If you have a chance to visit the Aurora once more, this is definitely the place you want to stop by again. We got Beef Rib Bone soup and spicy tofu soup with seafood (3 shrimps actually), totally $40. the food came in take away boxes even though we said that we were to have them in store when we were ordering, which I don’t feel very good about.

I have ordered tteokbokki and they gave me five pieces of tteokbokki and a couple of pieces cabbage. I was so disappointed with this place. The service wasn't great and the food didn't have an authentic Korean taste. I bet you can have the same dishes with better serving size and better service in any Korean restaurant in Canada. Went there for the first time the other day. I had the spicy pork Bulgogi with the sweet potato noodles. Wow it was just incredible and enough food for two meals!!! And my friend liked her Bulgogi salad a lot too (it also looked really good). The staff was extremely friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this place highly!

I ordered kimchi stew with pork, but there were only few and small pieces of bacon in the soup. Kimchi soup was fine, but I would have expected more of the dishes I ordered.

It's okay and better than no Korean, but not that great. I've tried a few items, and have the most issues with the bib bim bap, a basic Korean staple. The vegetables on the bibbimbap are not sliced thinly enough and are served raw (raw peppers and cabbage, for example). They don't provide gojuchang sauce (they provide a tiny amount of some sort of sauce). For such a simple dish, they could do a lot better...generous portion, though.

We've been going to Korea House since it opened. The owners/staff are super friendly and remember what you like. The speed is quick and the portions are large. We love the flavourful chicken bulgogi (spicy), bibimbap (all the fresh veggies!), and the ramyun. The kids are always asking for more goon mandu (fried dumplings!).

Food is very bland and tasteless. 40.00 for small portions of food (for two), in take out containers even when eating inside. 40.00 in Ontario would get you large portions, plus side dishes. It's a rip off. Tastes like these use instant flavoring for there bolgogi soup and bolgogi chicken. Not Korean at all. Waste of money like most restaraunts in town. This is why I rather cook at home since moving here. Buy groceries for two 150.00 a week or eat one over priced under average tasting meal for two in this crummy town for $40.00 and that's cheap. We google checked and found the rate is 4.2 then went. We ordered kimchi sea food stew and pork stew. From its picture of the menu, it is contained by a big pot as other Korean restaurant.but we were served by a small paper bowl, only 3 small shrimps for sea food stew and very very small pieces of pork slice for pork stew. The price is extremely high, $17.95. As I think it is only worth $5 each. Also the female front desk is not so friendly. Highly not recommend!

Nice establishment, it really is very clean just like the reviews say. I ordered the Gamjatang and was most disappointed. It lacked any of the toppings pictured on the menu and there was such a small amount of meat on the pork bones for a meal that cost $18. The soup consisted of spicy broth, with honestly little flavour at all, two very small and very soggy potatoes and a few bites of pork which was way more effort than it was worth to get off the bone. My partner ordered the Bulgogi and it was very tasty, so the restaurant is not a complete write-off. Just hit and miss with what you order.
