I really like this place, I've been here twice once for the soft open and the day of this posting. During the soft open the staff was a little flustered as is expected and the systems for orders was clunky and whatnot, but after a month or 2 of being open, wow it's fantastic, the staff is operating smoothly and the service was quick and excellent, staff is friendly and very helpful, food is a 10/10, I got the rib eye steak with chef vegetables and fries, all of them were on point and delicious to the point where I was more focused on the snap peas than the steak (not implying the steak was anywhere close to bad), the steak was juicy soft and cooked to perfection. And the dessert was fantastic, it was a rendition of a nanaimo bar that had the original running for its money. The only thing I would have to say is if you are looking for a cheap meal, might not be the place, but it would be excellent for a group to go to because the shareables and pizza menu is extensive and covers a lot of bases. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to treat themselves to a very nice meal. 10/10 will eat here again as long as I'm in yellowknife.

The Copperhouse has a decent selection of different foods you wouldn't normally see on a menu. While the two meals I've had there have both been excellent, the service has been a little bit awkward at times in terms of its coordination, and my friends' order got a little screwed up. These are understandable new restaurant issues, and I'm sure they will be fixed. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to try something different in Yellowknife, and I'll likely be going there again when I'm back.

Sat around for 20 minutes before I got asked what I wanted to drink, my friend showed up and then another 45 minutes went by and he never got asked what he wanted to drink nor did we get asked what we wanted to eat. Meanwhile other tables were getting served drinks and food orders taken. Left after server pointed finger at us and said I’ll be right with you. After nearly 50 minutes. People we’re also stuck in the doorway waiting to be seated. It was a mess.

Probably one of my favourite places to eat in Yellowknife. The ambiance is beyond beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Copperhouse Burger and it was so flavourful, one of the best burgers I've had ever. The tobacco onions and burger sauce really make it unique. My coworker had a veggie burger and said it was the best she's ever had!!

This was a chance visit due to the proximity to my hotel. I had not read any reviews of the place or knew anything about the venue but due to the cleanliness of the exterior, decided to check out the interior. ????. This place deserves several mentions regarding the layout, the menu, the service and the owner which I'll provide in more detail later. Mark, the owner and Cass, one of the staff were just as courteous and professional as any one could ask for. This time I ordered the bison tenderloin and Cass knew how I wanted it cooked just by asking a couple of questions. All great and as mentioned, will provide details in pictures later.

I visit Yellowknife every few months from Hay River and Copperhouse is the only restaurant I consistently visit for the Chicken Sandwich and Crispy Cauliflower. I usually get delivery but on my last visit I decided to dine in and I was even more impressed. Beautiful establishment and the waitress was incredibly kind and friendly to my son and I.

AND it was made very quickly which was an unexpected surprise. While the menu isn’t as large as other restaurants, there is enough selection for everyone. Would highly recommend a meal or two here. They're okay. Good for Yellowknife. Best take out and delivery in town for sure and their system is so convenient to use. I like the option of ordering wine or beer. A lot of items are kind of bland and basic. Had the Sunday roast beef dinner. Vegetables were not seasoned at all. The meal came with a half-filled small plastic container of jus, so I had to make my own gravy, which was annoying for $36. Yorkshire pudding was great, but definitely needed the gravy or at the very least, more jus. Pizzas are decent but sauce could be more flavourful.

One of my favourite restaurants in Yellowknife. We visited Cooperhouse at 3pm on a weekday. Unfortunately their changeover after lunch was during that time so the menu was quite limited (just pizza and drinks) but still delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly/efficient staff. Would love to come back to checkout the full dinner or lunch menu some other time

Another disappointing visit. Ordered the butter chicken curry; sooooooo greasy, I used my pita bread to soak up some of the grease, still pretty greasy; told the waitress about my disappointment; she still charged me for the meal. Menu looks a lot more appealing than the last time I was there.

Our two small pizzas took over an hour and a half to arrive. They were cold. Flavour was good, but the amount of toppings was pretty lackluster. We shouldn't be seeing so much sauce and crust, with barely any meat or veggies. Sad experience. It was our first time as new Knifers ordering from Copperhouse. We'll go elsewhere next time.

First time to Yellowknife and heard through the vine that this was a great place to eat and man was I glad I went! Hands down, the house burger was the best hamburger that I've ever had. Just Wow! So far my experience is Yellowknife has been disappointing, bad service in a lot of places, and ok food. Then I was told to check out the copper house and it did not disappoint. Ordered the white fish, and at like $28 for a piece of fish and a salad it was well worth, even if it was pricier. Aiden my server was attentive and had good knowledge on the menu, he was the best server in the city for sure’ if your traveling in yelllowknife this spot is one you’ll wanna check out!

We have been to copperhouse a few times, and have had excellent service and the food (mostly order pizza) is delicious. We have had the same server a few time, I believe his name is Elijah (?) and he goes above and beyond each time. He takes the time to interact with our two year old and learns his name. He is also very polite, well spoken and does an exceptional job serving his tables. Also! Children eat free some nights up until 6pm... What more could a parent want?

Had brunch at Copperhouse today. Posh atmosphere, it has an upmarket ambiance. It was very busy at lunchtime, so service was slow. The food was delicious. The burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Appreciate the maitre d' organizing for two couples to share a 6 persons table instead of making us and the other couple wait more. Will 100% come back to Copperhouse the next time I'm around.

This place starts with the warm inviting atmosphere played up with its impeccable design. They follow that up with very friendly and accommodating staff. The selection of beer is very good with a few local choices which is always great to see. If you’re in the mood they have a wide variety of wines ready for choice. But personally I’d ask for the bartender to make an old fashioned, he takes pride in his work and it shows. Finally the food is absolutely mouthwatering. Pizzas that are cooked to perfection with multiple choices of toppings. Items from the smoker with the deep flavor you’d expect. And a great selection of starters and salads. Overall a perfect spot for date night, week night, watch a game, just about anything you could think of!

We went here for drinks and dinner. It was a busy night . Our server took our drink and food orders at the same time. Mentioned that one drink they may be out of, so we offered a back up. About 10-15 minutes later our waters showed up but not drinks. Another 5 minutes passed and she came with one drink and the drink menu saying they were out of both drinks that were ordered. Then walked away. Our food arrived. 5 minutes after the food arrived the server arrived back to get the drink order. We declined and expressed our frustration. We ate the food which was alright but overpriced for what we got. Were offered a free dessert which we declined. Asked for the bill and payment machine. Bill was brought to us but not the card reader. Finally we were able to pay. By this time we were certainly annoyed with the evening and wanted to leave. We paid and once again expressed frustration. The Waitress got the manager and it was like talking to a brick wall when we explained we knew they were busy but getting your drinks before dinner is pretty standard. TLDR: if you don't mind your drinks showing up half way through your meal and okay but overpriced food this is the place for you.

This place is upscale but you don't have to dress up to go to it. The service was a little slow but good. We initially thought the prices were a little high but after seeing the serving size I don't think they were out of line. The serving size were large & the food was tasty. I recommend this place. I ordered the hash which was made. The hash consisted of shredded brisket, diced potatoes, sliced onions, & diced peppers. Our friend ordered the copper burger which came with a side salad. There sandwich was huge. I swear it was 5" high & the salad was a generous portion. Both looked delicious.

Terrible.Will update this view when I risk it again. Server had a full tables, people lined up outside and prioritized tables out of order. Waited over 45mins for even a drink order, had to ask another server to pay for the one drink. You would think I'm overreacting but this server would have while conversations while other tables tried to get service. Could be the result of poor management or a lack of workforce.

Interior decor is nice, while their service was friendly and attentive. However I ordered take out and you would think it would automatically come with cutlery/utensils and napkins. How is one to eat a salad and brisket without these... Ordered the half order smoked brisket & Copperhouse greens with au jus on the side. Brisket was on the dry side, making the au jus almost a requirement. The smoky flavour of the brisket stood out but would likely be better if dining in. The salad was light and refreshing.

2nd attempt at the Rib eye and equally as unimpressed as the first time. Not a very good cut of steak for an expensive entre at all. Chop Salad was awesome as always though! Wait staff were great.
