Checked into the Days Inn on Sunday, and walked into Cai' Kitchen. Imagine my delight to find Chinese Dim Sum served in Yellowknife. I've eaten 3 days here and I am pleased with everything. This is a must try for anyone visiting Yellowknife.

Sooo...I HATE Chinese food. Greasy, MSG infused, drowning in sauce, never-ever been a fan. This place is none of that. This is very authentic Chinese food. Everything cooked as it's meant to be and bursting with vibrant, dynamic flavours unlike anything I've ever tasted in any typical Western Chinese food. They haven't been open long and I've already ordered three times. A much needed addition to Yellowknife's culinary scene. I particularly recommend the seafood fried rice and the braised eggplant.

Went to Cai’s kitchen for the first time. Staff was kind and asked if it was our first time. They went through the menu and explained the size and heat of the items. Highly recommend the kimchi fried rice!

Very good, we had the meatball soup, spicy wontons and the chilled pork belly...fresh and tasty. Definite do over.

Great authentic Chinese food. I loved the spicy wontons and the beef buns. All their food had great flavour! The service was fantastic.

I Came to work in yk for 1 week and found this Chinese Restaurant, the food is amazing, I can't believe I could find a really traditional Chinese restaurant in this far north. Highly recommended if you come to Yk. I ordered Kimchi Fried Rice, brised fish, brised Eggplant and chili pork belly, they are all Really HUGE!
