You will see all the reviews of real people who used the services of The Cheesecake Factory (Restaurant) in North York (Canada).
At this moment the business gets a score of 4 out of 5 and that rating is based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is very good, and it's founded on a high number of reviews, so we can say that the score is quite faithful. If people have bothered to value when they've done well with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Restaurant is included in the category of Restaurant.
Excellent place for dessert, lots of seating, spacious and clean. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Only would have been less frustrating if they accepted reservations as oppose to first come first serve line up basis, and waiting for a couple hours min.
Holy cow!! Such a great experience. The service was awesome, the staff were outstanding and the food was well worth the wait which for us wasn’t that long. The selections of bread in the basket were just wonderful and the butter was a super compliment to them. The strawberry shake was the BEST I’ve ever had! Boy was it huge. The calamari appetizer was breaded lightly and come with a garlic dip as well as the topical seafood sauce. Very impressive. My gumbo dish was simply delicious. The presentation was appealing and the flavours blended well. Could of used a bit more shrimp as I do like my shrimp. Then came the cheese cakes and they were to die for. The strawberry one was very refreshing and seem light compared to the succulent chocolate hazelnut, but man that was a great taste profile. Overall very impressed and will be back.
Aside from menu and delicious meals we had in our every visit at Cheesecake Factory, our most recent dinner on Friday night we had a chance to have Ricardo as our server. His great personality and impressive customer service made our meal more enjoyable and memorable and we reported the same to his manager. If you are visiting this restaurant ask for Ricardo I am sure you will not regret it and enjoy your meal much much more.
Out of the entire world, this is my wife and I's favorite restaurant. If you haven't come, do not hesitate. Nonetheless, please consider the following: there is no reservation and the wait times approximate to 1-2 hours. Hence, get in, register, and then walk Yorkdale Mall and visit the nice stores that it offers.
I have had two horrible experiences with their takeout. The first time I ordered the Oreo Cheesecake and they gave me a peanut butter cheesecake! Now today, I put it an order that was suppose to include the Celebration cheesecake but there was no cheesecake included with my order. Very disappointed. Will not order takeout from them again!
The pastas at The Cheesecake Factory are underrated. I kind of mixed two pastas together and it was amazing. The wait to get a table is ridiculously long (2hrs min) but you do have the mall to stroll while you wait so it’s not the worst thing.
(I had sent this to the page where others have been told to write their comments on the Cheesecake Factory website, but a week has gone by and no response so I'm posting this review here) This was my first time at Cheesecake Factory and I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service my party received. I ordered the Chicken Thai Salad, which for some reason the only ingredient not listed on the menu was onions which I do not eat. When I politely explained this to the server, she said they would remake it immediately, coming over to me after saying it would be no more than three minutes. It ended up being nearly a half hour until I got my food re-made, which at that point the rest of my party had already finished eating, and our server was avoiding us the whole time before it came out. When my food finally arrived, she simply said that I should tell my server ahead of time to check if there's anything in a food item before ordering that I don't want, not apologizing that the wait time was 10 times longer than she said it would be for my food to arrive. We had explained again that the menu item listed many ingredients so it seemed safe to assume that there would not be anything else on the salad, but she just said we should've asked anyway, making no effort to be understanding of the situation or apologizing that I didn't get to eat with my other guests. When the bill arrived, we politely asked if there was anyway we could accommodated since I missed out on a significant aspect of the dining-in experience. She said there was nothing that could be done and that she already had talked to her manager (which we now realize we think was most likely untrue), and went on again to insist that they did nothing wrong and that the problem was our fault. Ultimately, we were left frustrated and did not feel that a tip was deserved, and when the server noticed, she yelled at one of my guests screaming that this was our fault. In addition, when we left the restaurant, we immediately realized that one my guests had left her umbrella in the restaurant, so another guest went in immediately to retrieve it. The umbrella was not at our table, the guests next to our table said that the second we left, our server went and took it, so my guest went up to ask where it was, and it was not where the lost and found was. When our server saw that one of our guests was in the restaurant again, she acted surprised and then went "oh I wasn't trying to steal your umbrella," and although we can't be sure, it almost seemed that she wanted to steal our umbrella because she was mad at us. Ultimately, we were basically verbally assaulted for issues that we were not responsible for, and there was no effort at all to resolve anything or compensate us for our sub-par experience. We were especially disappointed as we had to put our names on a waitlist at 4:20 PM and did not get in until nearly 7:30, so we were really hoping that the wait would be worth it.
Meal type
My 2nd time here within the last couple of years. First time was an ok experience, but this time food was really good, and service was great! Would definitely go again.
This is my first time here never been to ones in USA either. I had the French dip cheese burger, the assorted egg rolls and the plain cheese cake. I was there on a week day for lunch and a lot of items they were out of. The egg rolls were amazing especially the cheeseburger one. The burger I had was average only cool part was the niche concept of dipping the burger in the French sauce. Lastly the cheese cake was on the below average side I have had way better cheese cake for equal to or less then what I got here overall average place not bad but not amazing either
The food is delicious! Plus, the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and helpful. I did find a small hair in my water, but the staff were more than happy to change my water for me.
This is the first time I decided to order anything from cheesecake factory and I spent $80 on a cake for a family member's birthday. I did curbside pickup at 915pm and when I got home at about 10pm decided to open the cake box to see that all the decorative icing on the cake they gave me was smashed flat. I called the location and spoke to the manager Adam about resolving the situation appropriately as opposed to inconveniencing me further. I'm really disappointed that they would even decide to give this to a customer and most likely won't be ordering again.
Not the same delivery in quality and customer service as other locations in the USA. Plate portions are still large and in many cases, there is no need for this. Today's visit was not good and in fact, I can say this is not what The Cheesecake Factory is known for. The wait time was normal 45-60 minutes and maybe less than other locations. The waiter is the show of the night! Not once did he come by during our meal to ask if everything was okay or even if our meal was fine. Yes, he did refill our drinks but for the rest of our visit, it was although he was a robot. I would recommend maybe the number of tables is far too many to have one person be responsible for. Overall the food was bland and maybe it's time where the cheesecake factory finds something they stand out besides the cheesecake but to have a many of over 10 pages in this market is too much and maybe this is why my food tastes like it's made on a line with no creativity.
If I was just considering the food at this restaurant, I'd give this place 4 stars. Everything we ordered was delicious and portions are massive. The Shepherd's Pie was super tasty and the Fettuccini Alfredo also tasted great. Both came on giant plates that definitely make you feel like you're dining in an American Restaurant. Both cheesecakes I got to try were delicious, although I wouldn't recommend coming here just for them. You could probably find something very similar, if not better, elsewhere. Unfortunately, the wait times, both to get a table and for food to arrive, definitely put a damper on the experience. I arrived to put my name on the wait list and was told it'd be an hour and was given a buzzer. After walking around the mall for the hour and still not having been buzzed, I went back to inquire how much longer it would be. I was told there was only 3 more couples of 2 before me, and that I'd be seated within minutes. 45 minutes later, I was finally buzzed, but then had to wait another 5-10 minutes to actually be seated. Although the service from our waiter and waitress was fantastic, the ordering experience also left something to be desired. Both my partner and I had ordered something on the menu that they had "run out" of and had to resort to a secondary choice which was disappointing. Overall, the food here is great, but I don't think it's worth the lengthy wait times. Allowing reservations seems like it would be a fix to their issues, so why they don't allow them is beyond me.
Well what can I say. Hands down the worst dining experience of my lifetime. I know my review would not really affect the overall rating or the incoming footfall to this place but if you plan to have a good day out with your family you must exclude this place from your plan. With our 5 month old baby they made us wait for almost 2 hrs to get the table. Originally they informed it will take roughly 1 hr 10 mins to get the table. Once we returned after almost 1.5 hrs, for 30 minutes they kept saying our table is getting cleaned and as we have a stroller they can only give us specific table and hence the delay. Once we were let in after almost 2 hrs, then the same fake update at the front desk, "we are cleaning your table". Another 10-15 mins waiting for the table. Guess what, we were given a table right next to exit and restroom with almost highest amount of footfall in the restaurant. So much for arranging a special table. After almost 2.5 hrs of wait, then it was turn to taste one of the worst dishes I have eaten in a long time. Spaghetti was uncooked as if someone had no time to prepare the food. Chicken was so overcooked and chewy that I left the dish almost untouched. Waitresses did try to fix the situation and brought another portion of Spaghetti but by that time after 3+ hrs of waiting I had no appetite to eat. Took few bites from wife's plate and called it a day. There are tons of good places near by without the ridiculous waiting time, poor customer service, unhygienic set up, and below par food preparation. Dont see why would I ever step into Cheesecake Factory ever again.
The pasta was so yummy and saucy, had about half in the restaurant and the rest took home for lunch the next day. Also took a cheesecslice to go, so delicious ????
Great place to eat , lot of options and the very friendly staff
Substandard food quality. Below par decor. More than 2 hours of waiting even if you are told that it would take less than 1.5 hours. Of course there’s no prior booking accepted. But we understand that. However, once we went around the mall and came back right within 1.5 hours , we were still told that the table is getting ready outside. Then as you do get the text and go ahead to enter, we ended up in yet another queue for 15 minutes and was told again that table is getting ready. Once you do get the table, you are rushed by the waitresses to order. I do know that incessant queues in Cheesecake Factory is normal and synonymous and I was doing okay with that all along. Like okay understood, agreed and ready to cooperate , putting up a happy weekend lunch face and go along. However, my disappointment is because of the overall dining experience and food quality for the price. Seats and table look dilapidated and rusty while there is still dirt on the floor. Tried my very best to enjoy the food just thinking that yeah this is all worth it but it is just not the quality that many places can give in the exact same price. One of the worst food experience. Just so commercial and no flavour, uniqueness or presentation at all. Maybe they fool young crowd by serving boiled spaghetti and coated chicken and give a fancy name. I don’t know and it wasn’t my first time in Cheesecake Factory either.Last time I assumed probably I didn’t choose the right food. But no way, this place has bad food. Period. My only stars are for the cheese cakes and those are certainly amazing. But that’s it. Where was the dining experience? Doesn’t exist in this place. I have been to several fine dining places in Downtown Toronto and GTA. But this place is overrated and ,in fact, the worst dining place in Toronto for sure.
Service
The food was so delicious but even better than that was the service. Our server was a lady called Sara who was so kind and patient. The only problem was I wasn't able to stop myself to tip her :) overall, it was my first time in this restaurant and I will recommend it to my friends. Great food and service!
For the first time, I didn't have to wait - which was phenomenal. TCF never disappoints. The food was amazing. Staff are very friendly as well.
The restaurant is extremely busy and unfortunately still has a bit of a wait but it's worth it. The food is amazing, the restaurant seems clean and well kept, and the service was great. The only downside to my visit was that there were no bananas available for the cheesecake I ordered. While that normally wouldn't be an issue for me, I felt they could have, at the very least, reduced the price of the highly priced dessert to account for it not being complete. Nothing was offered other than the cheesecake without the fruit, for the same price. I'd likely return, but I'd hope the restaurant sees this as a lesson learned because a simple gesture could have turned a 4 star experience into an easy 5 star experience.
Service was very good, the food we ordered was all delicious except the fries were just adequate.
Went there twice; once just for the cheesecake and then for dinner / munching and cheesecake. There is a variety of options to choose from, however not each one of them is for everyone. I have tried key lime, red velvet cheesecake and Tiramisu and I loved Tiramisu the best. Apart from that I loved the crabmeat bites and spicy shrimps as well. Great place for birthday celebration and just some relaxing time and good dessert.
I have dined at several of The Cheesecake Factory locations across the U.S. and more than once at the Yorkdale location leaving the each time with high praise for the quality of the meals and the attention of the waiters and waitresses. Last evening was, unfortunately, different at your Yorkdale location. Our main pasta and chicken dish arrived with all the chicken pieces burnt to a crisp, the slice of the key lime Cheesecake (for dessert) arrived at the same time as our main dish, the nuked brown bread became as hard as stone once it cooled and the second request for lemon slices to accompany our glasses of hot water were no where to be seen by the time we paid the bill. Without my knowledge, my wife had earlier requested the slice of cheesecake to come with a birthday candle, to mark my milestone birthday. The slice of cheesecake that arrived at the end of our meal, arrived not on a dish but in a take-out container, without the candle and a bag to put the container in. To top it all, our bill had to be adjusted for the burnt chicken and pasta dish which we returned, uneaten, and had to substitute it with the shrimp and angel hair dish which probably saved the evening after a 3-hour wait at our table at a time when the restaurant traffic was unusually slow. I think the almost-ruined dinner for us should fall squarely on the shoulders of the management team and the kitchen staff as we had to miss out on a number of our favourite dishes due to the lack of ingredients etc. The waiter and waitress can only do so much under such circumstances. Would I recommend the Cheesecake Factory at the Yorkdale location to anyone? I would have to say no, no, and no! To stay the best, you have to try harder! Sadly, no amount of your fabulous cheesecakes will placate us and erase the annoyances and disappointments that accompanied our dining experience at your Yorkdale location!
Lunch
Went for my birthday. Cheeseburger egg rolls were an excellent start. Carne Asada steak was delicious and a huge portion. I was stuffed so I got my pineapple upside down cheesecake to go. Did have room for the free birthday sundae. Nothing beats the cheesecake factory.
Busy Saturday brunch. Ordered takeout cause we need to wait for 1 and half hour to be seated. Ordered takeout instead to order waffles and chicken before it ends at 2pm. Friendly service tho. Food was good. Wasn’t able to take photos as we were so excited to dig into it. Ordered original cheesecake too that is not too sweet that I enjoyed well.
Take out
Only reason I gave them three stars was for the wait to get a table it's ridiculous it was a four hour wait to get seated so if you have time to waste it is worth it because the food is delicious but if you're in a rush then I don't really recommended and they don't take reservations so don't even call to ask because they will Decline and it does not matter what size your party is it could be just 2 or 10 people they will not take reservations at all. I really wish they had another location.
First time at this location usually I go to the one in Novi Michigan, and right from the start it was a great experience. The appetizers, the drinks, and the food all were perfect. But I do have to say the waiter named Alex was excellent so friendly, polite, organized, prepared, was always making sure we were happy and served properly. I do have to say this was best service I’ve ever experienced anywhere I’ve been. Was well worth the wait.

Tasty food and great service! We also got a free fudge sundae since we were celebrating a birthday. Thank you for making a birthday a little more special and memorable!
Huge portions, fair prices, the skinny menu has great choices. It's always packed and usually you have to wait. I once waited 3 hours. It's worth the wait though. The desserts are really good. I suggest you call ahead and ask how long the lines are. The restaurant is definitely worth going.
Came in to Dine for the first time ever. Got to say it was worth every hype I've ever heard so far. An amazing environment to be, with some of the most polite and dedicated staff members. Not to mention the cleanliness, also it's a beautiful place to be in. The music alongside the vibe is right for just yourself or a group of people. If your vegetarian, please give the Cauliflower Tacos a shot alongside the Mac&Cheese they serve. On god that was BUSSINNNN!!!
Don’t recommend. The food was serve cold, and the cheese cake serve almost melted (hot plates). See the pic below. Never back again to place in Toronto. I love cheese cake factory e.g MIA, WAS, etc.
We arrived on a Tuesday, 5pm walk in but theres no seat available. We left phone number and 30 minutes after they sent a text the table is ready. Wait for the food is around 30 minutes. Their bread and butter appetizer is sooooo good I love it so much. We got classic burger, 4 cheese pasta and red velvet cheese cake. Food was delicious. Expect to see many people there walking in and out
Went in for dinner with friends on a Friday evening, around 6:00pm. The 15mins promised wait, turn easily into 45mins. The place is nice, our waitress was friendly and trying to be helpful, but they did a horrible job dealing with my husband’s allergy to onions. They ended up serving you a plate with a peace of plain grilled fish, next to some plain vegetables. Not really a taste there - felt like hospital diet food! Disappointing.
Great food! Enjoyed the warm crab n artichoke dip, followed by the Shrimp and Chicken Gumbo and Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert. But best of all was the exceptional service by our server Joshua (table 61), who went above and beyond to get me my drink mixed exactly the way I liked it and made sure we were well looked after, despite the busy Saturday rush, keeping us informed at every step. I have visited the Cheesecake Factory in many cities all over the US, but the service here was the very best! Thank you!

It’s always lovely here! I usually always get the bistro shrimp pasta but today we went for happy hour and had appetizers. TCF has top notch service. Jerome was the best server we’ve had yet! Super kind, attentive, funny and could tell he has fun with the guests. Thanks Jerome!
absolutely love love this place! great for any occasion if you can get a table lol great staff accompanied by amazing food what's not to love! we tried chicken pot stickers (dumplings) the sauce that comes with this dish is ????. deep fried shrimp perfectly fried. for mains the Louisiana chicken pasta is a must try simple but so flavourful!! can't wait to go back and try more
First I find a wrapper in my cheesecake and then when I call to speak to management someone answers and hangs up on my face. I found this to be very unprofessional considering I visit The Cheesecake Factory quite often. I understand mistakes happen, but how does this even happen?
Dinner
I was surprised with negative reviews but decided to dine there anyway. This time l was surprised how great this place is and how excellent service was. Cheese cake was so flavourful and delicious, the best l ever had! Service was attentive, courteous and friendly, couldn’t ask for more. In my opinion this is fantastic place that serves very fresh first class mouthwatering food, tasty drinks and delicious cakes that look like artwork. Wonderful time, happy hour. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone. From time to time we deserve to treat ourselves with delicious cheesecake ????and awesome food. Cheesecake Factory is wonderful place to enjoy great tasting food and fun drinks. L❤️VE it.
Very tasty food and professional staff. Usually it remains very busy so make sure to book in advance or go early. The lineups and waiting time are significant. We had to wait for 2 hours on Friday to get in.
Dinner
Got a plain cheese cake to go. They said it was sliced and individually wrapped which it wasn't. Being frozen I finally cut it into serving pieces. I changed my review from 4 Stars to 5 Stars as Management has a positive attitude.
It definitely wasn't my first time at a Cheesecake Factory but I was disappointed with my overall experience. The workers were very pleasant and made us feel comfortable. The food was delicious!! Not to mention the cheesecake! I mean....the name speaks for itself! The one factor that caused me to not give them full five stars is the waiting time. We waited 50 minutes before being able to get a seat. But I have to be understanding as it was Christmas Eve and everybody loves the Cheesecake Factory!
Food was ok. Atmosphere was good too especially for a new year's day.
Came here for a lunch date with my boyfriend. We were shopping at Yorkdale and needed a spot to refuel for the day and he suggested Cheesecake factory and I was game since I haven't been! There was a 30 minute wait but happy that they took down our number to text us when our table was available. Once we got seated we looked through the online menu and he decided on a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and added on a side of mushroom Gravy, and I got the Shrimp bistro pasta and opted for the lunch portion size. Our server was great when she mentioned that there would be a charge for the extra side of mushroom Gravy and asked me if I wanted to regular or lunch portion of my pasta because I didn't know that was an option. Bread and butter came out promptly after we put in our order and was fresh and butter was perfectly salted. Our food came out and we did not expect the portion size that we got. My pasta was huge for lunch portion and we ended up eating half our meals but my pasta was surprisingly really delicious, I was not expecting pasta like this, I thought it would be mediocre but I would definitely come back and try more of their pasta dishes! My boyfriend had a few bites of mine and instantly regret not getting pasta. When the bill came I thought the lunch price of my pasta was quite high. It was $26, I thought 20 would be reasonable where as his chicken sandwich was $18 but that side Gravy was $4.50... a little steep for mushroom Gravy I think. All in all I would come back here for their pasta if I was in the area.
Service
I ordered the bacon bacon cheese burger, With a drink. Restaurant was very busy, I was alone and decided to eat at the bar. The waiting list was 1/2 an hour on a friday at 4pm. The bar had no wait. Food took about 1/2 an hour to get to me. It was hot and sooooo good. The bartender tried to serve but just very busy everywhere else. Very pricey at 27$ just for me and a burger but over all worth it. I would go back. Next time I will try something they are known for "cheesecake" lol.
My first time there. I love the whole experience. The food was good, the servers were friendly. Love their cheesecakes We went there for a quick bites ordering just small plates and dessert. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, I just found the mushrooms too small, but they were tasty. We ordered the flatbread. it was so good. We ordered coffee and it went well with the Godiva chocolate cheesecakes. We also bought takeout cheesecake. Definitely a very nice gathering place and good food!
This was one of the worst customer service I have had in a restaurant in years. We waited over 25 minutes for our food. Asked for the manager who told us our food would be right out and that the fries were still being cooked. When the food finally came the fries were cold! Our original server left for a lunch break our next server proceeded to ignore us. For a $28 plate of pasta I would expect the food to be hot… it to was cold!! I will never be back!!!
Finally got to eat at the cheesecake factory and everything was amazing, I had the jambalaya pasta and my friend had the gumbo and everything tasted perfect. I ordered the tuxedo cheesecake to go and it was the most smooth and creamy cheesecake ever. To top everything off our waitress Jade was very helpful with the menu and had A+ customer service. It was hard to choose what to eat because there were so many options but that's a good problem I guess. Can't wait to visit again.
Service
Went to the patio after months of shut down. Sign in at 11:45am, and received sms when table is ready at 1:20pm. Traivon is nice and very thoughtful. Though food is a bit slow, they all taste delicious. P.s. they only have about 10 tables, make sure u go early so u can hv a seat at lunch.
Wait was about 1.5hr on a Sunday. Just shopped during the wait time. Recommend to go back and inquire at the time mark because it is constantly busy and your party could be forgotten. We ordered the egg roll platter and crab/artichoke dip to start. Both very tasty. The complimentary bread were both yummy. The darker one was sweeter. We had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, the jambalaya and the classic burger. Huge portions so good for sharing. It was good but not great. The desserts were original with strawberry, Celebration cheesecake and cookie dough. After having tasted my Italian coworkers homemade cheesecake, these just didn’t do justice. Least to say I don’t think I will return. Our server was amazing though. Very attentive to our party of 7. So ???? on service.
The seating and service times were slightly longer but, it was understandable given the high volume around Christmas and COVID19 resurging. Overall, the food was above average with slightly high prices to reflect the quality. My four-star rating is granted based on the positive atmosphere and service. The waitresses were thorough and considerate with our orders and the interior looks well designed. I would recommend giving the restaurant a try. Consider the Bacon-Bacon Cheeseburger if you do!
Dine in
Came to the restaurant with a party of ten. They only delivered two meals, every 5-10 minutes. Slow makes it sound like they are super fast. Other visitors who arrived and order after us, have finished their meal before ours even arrived. I love cheesecake, but don't expect to be back ever again.
Every single item on the menu is amazing, there is no doubt about that in my mind. I’ve bought every single cheesecake and can say it was delicious. Off their sit down menu the spicy cashew chicken and the Louisiana pasta are so good, I would definitely try these 2 items.
It was my first time at Cheesecake Factory. This time I decided to be patient and waited to be seated( almost after an hour )unlike other times when i use to give up on my chase to get a place. Better late than never ????. it was a thrilling experience, the place was bustling and very lively with some amazing food options which were big on size as well( exactly what I like). We thoroughly enjoyed the lasagna, tomato basil pasta, Thai chicken salad and Hollandaise eggs along With refreshing iced teas served in different flavors. About the deserts, when I say the cheesecakes were amazing It might be an understatement because they were phenomenal, make sure you save some space for the cakes after your meal. I wish I could order more cakes but we settled with three including chocolate mousse cheesecake, banana cheesecake and upside down pineapple cheesecake.
Great place to eat , lot of options and the very friendly staff
Visited the Cheesecake Factory on a Wednesday evening (around 5:45), surprisingly the wait time was only 20-25 mins (during really busy times I’ve waited close to an hour). Unfortunately you’re unable to make reservations. Atmosphere has a very chill vibe, decor is really nice and our server was friendly. We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Shrimp with Angel Hair - both we’re very delicious and very filling (left with food itis!) Unfortunately our appetizer (Korean Fried Cauliflower) came after our main courses (looks like it was forgotten) - so we were pretty full already, so we had to take the app to go, but the little bites we did have - it was delicious! Definitely recommend visiting.
Dine in
This place is wonderful with family and friends. Comfort food all day, from burgers to pasta, to salmon. You can have it all here with a touch of cheese cake. So good. I can't wait to come back to this place !
Really really awesome taste… dine-in ambience is also very nice. Highly recommended!
Lunch
Here are a few reasons why you should visit this restaurant : * 5 star * Great ambience. * Amazing service. * Courteous staff. * Light on the pocket * Quick orders * Easy access from the road * Comfortable seating * Well maintained While I was here, I tried some of these: * Louisiana Chicken Pasta (recommend) * Spicy Chicken Chipotle * Crispy Pineapple Chicken and Shrimp (recommend) * Chicken Waffles * Avocado Egg Rolls (recommend) * White chocolate raspberry truffle (recommend) * Salted Caramel Cheesecake Absolutely loved the experience of dining at Cheesecake Factory for the very first time. Although I had to wait for an hour for a table, I was able to check out the mall in the meantime. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Yorkdale mall. We were served by an extremely cheerful waitress. She was kind enough to make us feel comfy and also made quite a few recommendations which we ended up ordering. The Avocado Eggs Rolls were served with an sweet sauce on the side. It set the ball rolling and we were soon devouring the chicken pasta and the crispy Pineapple Chicken and Shrimp. The Spicy Chicken Chipotle was a bummer but the waffles were good. Topped it off with some cheesecake and coffee.
The food is absolutely fantastic. I've yet to have a disappointing dish. Naturally they have amazing cheesecakes but the dinner and app selection is also great. The staff were friendly and happy. It was a long wait but with the ability to have them text you, just go shopping.
I am very happy they have a pick up/take out section on the side. Just a warning, you should expect to pay premium for food from here. The slices look small but are very filling. Amazing taste. The classic one isn't too overwhelmingly sweet
Meal we ordered was delicious, very good experience and great service. I was little disappointed with the size of stuffed mushrooms they were small but heavenly delicious.
Food was ok. Atmosphere was good too especially for a new year's day.
Excellent service and food. Great value for your dollar! Enough food per serving to share with lots left over to take home. Cheese cake was excellent! We came here on a Tuesday at 5:00 pm no lineup we got seated right way! Our servers as very attentive and made sure we were looked after well!
Easy pick up food still tasted good after a fairly long drive home and requested extra whipped cream and they didn't disappoint
Worst birthday dinner ever!! We decided to celebrate my birthday at Cheesecake Factory at Yorkdale on Oct 23, 2021. After 2.5 hours’ waiting, which was expected and told by the front desk, we had been seated at 6:15 PM at our table We did not have no one welcome us after we had been seated. 30 minutes later, a waiter came to us and told us, our waitress was on half hour break!!! He would help her look after us. Of course, our service was super slow… even after our waitress shown up after 7:30PM nish. We did not see our food until 7:45PM, which was 90 minutes after we had sit down. After dinner we ordered desert, we had to wait another 30 minutes. I was checking with our Waitress, as I saw the table beside us, who seated later than us, had finished their meal, desert and was paying their bills. Our waitress told me: I had to be patient as they are busy!!!@@ I am sorry, it takes 90 minutes for food to come to my table…and I have to more patient…terrible service!!! Never again!!
The American diner! If you have been to Cheesecake Factory before, you know what to expect. They have the same consistent experience and the similar food and service. For the newbies, go here for some awesome cheesecakes. They have an extensive menu with all American meals - burgers, pastas etc etc. It’s in the mall so parking etc. Not an issue. We went here for breakfast and it was alright. During COVID, check in process is very seamless.
Fabulous sunday brunch with great price. It is really worth to wait in queue. Nice staff, clean location. Perfect chicken with benedict egg on top(my order)
Very busy day a few items were off the menu due to shortage. But being holidays understandable. Overall cheesecake was always phenomenal.
Came here from downtown Toronto with my girlfriend on a Sunday evening. The wait time was about one hour, which isn't bad, and can kill time shopping/walking around the mall. We ordered fish and chips, Louisiana chicken pasta, and a Caesar salad. The food portions were not as grand as US locations, but still decent. Our server was super helpful with the menu, and very friendly.
My server went MIA for a good 30mins, we were rushing to leave and had to skip out on dessert at THE cheesecake factory!! When we chased after her for our missing drink for the kids meal she shrug her shoulder and said it was just an option??? What? You think we've never been out to restaurants? Good food but if they keep hiring servers like this the business is going down ????????
We waited for 1 hour & 30 mins. before we can have our dinner. It was worth the wait. We loved the food & the service.
The wait was really long but we walked the mall to kill the time. Service was exceptional! We had the carne asada steak and the New York steak. Cheesecake for dessert of course! The key lime was killer...perfectly tart and light. The Carmel pecan turtle cheesecake was decent, rich and so big! Such a good experience!
Service
The taste is sooo good, and the portion is big enough for anyone. I recommend to sign in first when you come in to the mall. The wait time can be up to 2 hrs wait, so don’t be stupid.
Foos was good, although what the appetizer we wanted they didnt have as well as my main course, they are apparently taking it off the menu, but it was still on there. Very disappointing to have made a decision and then be told ita no longer an option. Service started off good until our waitress went on break, and the one who took over was very slow and we had to ask for our drinks a second time before they came. Another thing that really bothered me was the person who served my pasta asked if I wanted parmesan cheese, I said yes please he set it down at the edge of the table (I was on the inside of the booth) and said one second I'll get it. I waited about 5min, everyone else had their food, he wasnt coming, so I took my pasta and began to eat, needless to say he NEVER came back with my cheese, my food would have been frozen, had I waited. Finished off with very slow service, having to wait a long time for them to come back. But food was great, we will still go back I'm sure.
It is one of my favourite restaurants. It never disapoints in terms of consistency in their dishes and their service. Unfortunately due to COVID there is no indoor dining however they take care of their food packaging unlike many others. The place is usually always packed that you probably end up on the waitlist and sometimes for long. I stopped by this photo of their shrimp appetizer and it reminded me of how good it was! their chipotle dipping sauce has a nice kick to it.
90min wait but it's convenient that the restaurant is attached to the mall. The servers exceeded our expectations, they were great! Also, the food was amazing as always! The portions were so filling, I didn't even end up getting a cheesecake. I definitely will have to try a couple the next time I'm in Yorkdale.

SUPER SUPER busy restaurant. wait time over the weekends are 2-3 hours. but it worth the wait. the service is great, I love their cheesecakes, love the size of the food. I can't say anything bad about this restaurant.
Hmm ordered the Celebration cheesecake today and for some reason it came with a layer of paper. Lost my appetite after seeing it. It also didn’t taste as fresh as it usually is and the wait for it was ridiculously long. Did the recipe change? :(
Cheesecake factory has delicious food! I had the angel hair shrimp pasta and margarita. I liked how the margarita was made here. For dessert we had tuxedo cheesecake and the New York cheesecake.
Honestly thought this was just all hype. And admittedly it is pricier and busier than what I would want but the things that I walked away with are two things: portion size and flavour. Food tastes great. And the free bread just might be the best free bread ever. The meal was fantastic but the portions are unreal. Large enough for prob two. I ended up packing and taking home for lunch the next day. Give it a chance for a special occasion and I’m sure you won’t regret.
Amazing service. The Cheesecake Factory is very famous and always has a waiting. We were six people and we got a table in 30 mins surprisingly. The food here is fantastic. People mostly think that this is only famous for the cheesecakes. The food here has a lot of options and is absolutely delicious. All of us ordered a different type of pasta. Each pasta has a different and great taste. I was surprised that one of the pastas was actually spicy in the adequate amount. Really loved the experience here. The server was very knowledgeable and worked there from a very long time. He was very nice to talk to and made us very happy with his jokes and service. Will totally go back and recommend this place to everyone. Hands off one of the best restaurants in Toronto. 5/5
I only come here for the take out cheesecakes. Always worth the drive.
I was lucky to go on a Thursday afternoon, but still had to wait about 45 minutes to be seated. But the food was bland and overpriced. I got the spring roll platter to share. Nothing special, but you basically pay for 4 small spring rolls cut into 8 pieces which was a very small amount of food for what you're paying for. The cheeseburger roll wasn't bad though. I was then recommended their bread encrusted chicken and spaghetti dish, which I was told was one of their specialities, and it was just bland. The chicken had no seasoning and the spaghetti was undercooked, still hard, and sticking to each other (I attached a picture). I thought the cheesecake would've at least saved the day. It was good, but it wasn't amazing or unique. I definitely could get a typical cheesecake elsewhere for cheaper that would taste the same. For about $30, I could've taken myself out to a fancier restaurant with better food. I has high hopes, but sorry Cheesecake Factory, I probably won't be back.
Dinner
Waiting time about 4 hours too much and the food good and the staff friendly
Very disappointed with the service and the food. I ordered a burger medium-well done and was given a burger that was raw. I also found a short black piece of hair in my farfalle pasta. We ended up overpaying for our food as those who were delivering the food to us in our car made it seem difficult to get us change since they did not want to go back inside and come out, after telling us any method of payment would be acceptable over the phone. The food was also given to us cold. This is not what I expected from Cheesecake Factory and am extremely disappointed after this experience. Would not recommend pick up!!
Foods are ok. But waiting time are too long. N not taking restoration / or calls…. Even Less tables, Costumer services weren’t as good as before. We were waiting for menus for 15 min. And no water were service until we asked again…
Service
If you don't mind overpaying for for slightly above average tasting American dishes, then this you'd be ok to dine here. I've dined here on multiple occasions and after my last visit, my conclusion is to just reserve Cheesecake Factory as a choice for when I have visitors who are looking for the full American chain dining experience/ambience. I'd be able to get the same quality of food for less in other local Toronto restaurants.

I had the best dining experience here thanks to William, our waiter! He was a great, enthusiastic and very charismatic person, really enjoyed the experience! It was only his second day on the job and he blew it out of the park, give this man a raise!

Food was delicious and service was quick and great! However if you don't have reservations, expect a 45min-1hr wait for late lunch (~2pm on a Saturday). Chicken Madeira was always one of my favourites and it didn't disappoint! The mango key lime cheesecake is on-point for dessert though with a little less sugar, it would be perfect. Overall 4 stars (4.5 if I could), great food, fair bit pricey and long wait times for seats.
The experience overall was pretty good. Food is a little pricey, but portion sizes are large. Easily enough for left overs, so it could be two meals. A mistake was made on my wife's meal, but they were willing to compensate the meal due to the error. The burger I had was large with a good sized patty. The strawberry cheesecake was great, nice and light. Strawberries tasted fresh and were crisp. Unfortunately, there was a two hour wait for a table. Not the fault of the restaurant staff in any way, but just unfortunate and a deterrent to come more often.
Didn’t get the chance to dine in. Was told there was a 3 HOUR wait for a table of 4. On a Sunday at 4:30pm. Called earlier in the day to make a reservation and was told they aren’t doing reservations. Went to the Pickle Barrel next door. Must faster service and got my food very fast, delicious and hot. PRO TIP: Skip the Factory and head next door.

Wait time was 2 hours. The food portion is large. The food tasted good. The food temperature was warm most parts.

3.5 The pros: Cheesecake is awesome Servers were good The buzzer has decent range Cocktail price is decent. You can grab cheesecake just outside of the restaurant. The cons: Wait time is long. we waited 1hr 30 mins for table when we went in around 3 pm. When we were leaving the wait time was 2 hours plus. The food although good is very over priced. Would I go back for set down meal most likely not. Would I grab cheesecake from outside counter definitely if i was in Yorkdale.
Waited for about an hour and a half to be seated. Service was great and attentive, and the food was fantastic. Always look forward to finding a Cheesecake Factory on our travels. Great value for money, and the cheesecake is to die for

There was a thirty minute wait when I got there and they give you a buzzer to let you know when your table is ready. The staff were very friendly and checked on our table often. The food came out quite fast and was delicious. They have a very large menu ranging from appetizers, sandwiches, pasta, burgers and a super large dessert menu that actually had dessert other then cheesecake on it. They have a huge drink menu including a non alcoholic mocktail selection. The restaurant is located inside the mall and the mall offers valet parking and indoor parking, along with wheelchair accessible parking, seating, entrance and bathroom. They also offer take out on just the cakes.
Dinner
We got here at 11:30AM so we didn't have to wait for a table. Service was good and quick. Food was delicious and as always they came in generous portions. I was very happy with the Tuna Poke. There was enough for two meals. We will definitely come back.
Amazing selection of all your favourite things from every restaurant's menu! Be prepared to wait a while to get a table.
Service
We went to Cheesecake Factory and, We had a great time. The place is nice and comfortable. The only issue is that you have to wait to long to be sitting. Food is great, portions are good and prices are ok. Service is good and very friendly. It is a good place to have a lunch.
Come for the cheesecake, but save space for the savory food. We had a great server too, a contagious positive attitude. The trick is to get here before anything else, sign up with your mobile and spend the next two hours actually shopping until the SMS arrives and you can get your table. The menu is online and proof of vax and id is required before sitting.
This place is ALWAYS busy... they don’t take reservations and the wait is usually anywhere from 30 min to over 2 hours (so they must be doing something right!). A member of our party put us on the list just after 3:00pm and we sat down to eat around 4:20pm. We were given a pager so we could walk around Yorkdale mall while waiting. The ambiance is great with huge vaulted ceilings, nice decor and friendly staff. The setup is a little crowded (booths and tables are lined up in rows from one end of the room to the other). With a counter to order the delectable looking cheesecake (for anyone who doesn’t want to dine in) near the entrance. The servers are fantastic. The bathrooms are clean. The food was ok (I had the burger and fries and my companion had the Cobb salad). It wasn’t anything to rave about nor was it disgusting. I ate everything on my plate (the portion sizes were decent) but I wasn’t dying for more (warning: don’t each too much of the bread they serve at the beginning of meal. The cheesecake was yummy. There are soooooo many options to choose from - I would come back just to try another slice! Parking at Yorkdale mall is always a bit of a headache so make sure to go ten minutes early so you have time to park.
This place is AMAZING. The food is worth every penny. Went here and waited about 20 minutes which was no problem at all. They gave us a buzzer when they were ready to seat us and the whole experience was amazing. The food is such a great value, we had no idea that the portions were going to be huge. It was like 2 of us could’ve shared one and be stuffed! The fried macaroni and cheese balls DELICIOUS. The spinach dip bowl was deep and had so much and the chips were perfect!! Definitely have to come back to try more on the menu and the cheesecakes!
Disappointing. My boyfriend bought us both pasta for valentines day. He ordered the 4 cheese pasta for him and the Louisana Chicken Pasta for myself. We live pretty far from Cheesecake Factory so you can imagine my surprise when I opened the lid to my pasta and it wasn't what I ordered. I would've just ate it as well but when I tell you when I tried to? It was soooo salty. It was inedible, so I couldn't even eat the wrong order they gave me. I tried calling them after and I got a busy sound. I tried calling when they first opened today as well, still busy or disconnected sound. I couldn't even resolve the issue due to them being uncontactable.
(Went before covid) A little bit far from downtown Toronto but easily accessible with the TTC. The location is suggestive especially for dinner with gold decoration and warm lighting. Sizes are generous and the taste is pretty nice. The cheesecake is tasty but quite heavy portion. The place is usually busy but I would highly recommend it even if it is not actually cheap.
I love this place, the ambiance is nice. Love the interior! Service was great too. The strawberry cheese cake is the best. I personally didn't like the mango lemon one as much as the other

Ricky was AMAZING. All throughout. I have nothing but great things to say as he kept checking up on us and was really pleasant throughout even though it was really busy. Everything I got was great!

Not really a fan of the food. It tastes like an elevated version of food that has been prepared frozen and cooked when needed. The cheesecake isn't worth the price. The atmosphere and the customer service is good.
After reading a majority reviews about the long wait time, I made my first visit expecting a couple of hours in the waiting line. However, to my surprise, I got a table as soon as I entered on a Saturday. The server was really nice, gave me a complimentary coffee on my first visit. I tried peanut butter cup fudge ripple cheesecake. It’s was to heavy for me but good! Must visit atleast once. The diner has a good vibe to it. Would love to come back to try more cheesecake and more items on the menu!
Server was friendly but sold us all on big sandwich for lunch., however, the corn beef sandwich we ordered was horrible and we paid for extra meat , 'id hate to see without the extra meat? sorry guys it was the saddest sandwich for that much money and portions were rotten, not to mention the wrinkled dried up pickles looked like they had been left out for 3 days and went from table to table after not being used, yes they looked that horrible. I'll never go back and I usually give a second chance, but this was horrible food at its worse, and when you're needing good feedback during a pandemic when it's hard enough to survive? U need to Amp it up , hands down the worst lunch I'd ever expect from this company that back in my day was good food and real pickles that weren't shaved so thin they almost could float... never going back again.
The food is delicious! Plus, the waiters and waitresses are very friendly and helpful. I did find a small hair in my water, but the staff were more than happy to change my water for me.
It was our first time trying Cheesecake Factory, we went there for a special occasion. We arrived on Tuesday at around 5, and the wait time for a table for 2 was less than 10 minutes, which was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious (highly recommend the stuffed mushroom & the bbq smoke burger), and the ambiance was great, but most importantly our server made our entire night. Dalal was extremely professional and helpful, and was always there when we needed anything. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect, and was super sweet and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant, and the service provided by Dalal was truly above and beyond. Give this girl a raise!
There is a long wait time to get a table but you can get a buzzer and walk around the mall before your buzzed. The food and cheesecake is good and the servers are friendly and helpful. Portions are big but I expected them to be bigger. Seating is a bit pinched and they try to fit as many people as they can on one table but there is still enought room to enjoy your meal comfortably.
Service
Waiting time is a little bit long but food and services are good. Exactly as the same as in the States.
Amazing restaurant! First time I went after my friend recommended me this place. Food is the best I ever had in this price range. Had a good time despite Covid rules ( Could not eat inside). Reservation system works great. Amazing service by the waiters. Will definitely return.
The wait for Cheesecake Factory was like 2 hours when I went, but that’s out of their control since it’s super popular. The waitress was really nice though! Only giving 3 stars because I waited 2 hours for the food to be so salty! The calamari would’ve been so much more enjoyable if there was less salt, and the spaghetti too.
Meal type
The food was good, the cheesecake was really good! I had the caramel dolce when I went, it literally melts in your mouth. The only reason I would give 4 stars instead of 5 is cause of the ridiculous wait time. They should do reservations.
Not worth it. The food is not good.I tried the bistro pasta shrimp 2/5 missing taste (29 dollars), I ordered a tiramisu cheesecake, got it still frozen and with no taste. Service is medium, I liked their smiles however I waited for my drink for a long time. A deception. I don t recommand unless you re very hungry.

It’s pretty much the same as the American one other than the lemonades. I love the lemonades from the American locations but they’re quite disappointing here. The strawberry one tasted like lemon water with a little strawberry flavour. The guacamole, fried mac and cheese and shrimp tacos were delicious. Kind of upset that you ran out of Korean cauliflower the day I went as it’s my favourite dish. The cheesecake is as amazing as the American locations. And to everyone complaining about the wait time, you saw the line, you chose to get into the line and wait. You could have just turned around & eaten somewhere else. You chose to wait so don’t complain. They tell you its a 2-3 hour wait when you get there. They’re not lying to you and saying 1 hour then making you wait for 3, get over it & wait or go somewhere else. Cheesecake Factory, keep doing you & serving up your awesome food. Updated May 1st- Korean Cauliflower is as good as I remember it. Their Arnold Palmer is amazing!
Lunch
The best experience I and my family had at the Yorkdale mall location was when we were all together back in 2018, there was an older gentleman who was a pleasure to be around. I’ll never forget that experience. Thank you for the great service Cheesecake Factory.
Had the strawberry something cheesecake and it was delicious. I like the texture of the cake and doesn’t seem very heavy. Also got some of their lunch special menu item and I will say that portions are pretty big and taste good as well. Staff and our server was very friendly so props to that, but I would say considering that the place has been opened for a while, there’s still a bit of a wait time to get seated. Maybe it’s because it’s the weekend, but still.
My husband and I had dinner here. We were told it would be about a 4 hour wait, got a table at the bar around 2 hours into the wait. The kitchen had an accident with the potatoes, so my husband's dinner was talking a while, we ended up waiting almost 2 hours but the bar staff made sure we were happy and the manager went above and beyond to make sure we were ok. So it didn't even feel like it took that long. Amazing staff! Amazing food! Amazing management! We'll be back for sure!!!!
The Wait Went to meet a friend for the first time since the pandemic began. It was black Friday, I anticipated it would be busy. Put my name in at the front desk - 1 hour wait. They send you a text message when your table is ready, which is awesome because you can walk around the mall while you wait. We got out table within 40 mins. Social Distancing All staff were wearing masks properly, tables were spaced well and being cleaned meticulously. Staff Our waitress was so pleasant, only sad I don't remember her name. She made great recommendations and was so much fun. She definitely made our visit enjoyable. The Food I have nothing to say other than 5 stars. Everything was perfect, fresh and delicious. All said, would visit again 100%. It's worth the drive, and the wait.
2 + hrs to get in for a meal that was just ok . Server was nice but food was not There don’t have no syrup for pancakes ( they have this watered honey substitute). I would definitely not come back . Eggs cold and no taste and pancakes cold by time I got them. Kids pasta dry and French toast is not really French toast is toasted baguette cut in slices then you add that syrup alternative. I did not eat my meal still cost me 22 .I sent it back When you get there you line up to give your name ….in a line full of people no social distance just along the inside of restaurant.for over an hour then you have to wait for them to call in another hour why can’t we book on line or over phone .?? I was really hopeful for this place but I do t know if I’ll do that crazy line up again with kids in hand
Ordered the vanilla bean cheesecake( my favourite) and the cheeseburger well done. Both melted in the mouth. Simply put it was awesome
Management and servers here are so kind and caring. Fatima was my waitress and she was amazing! The store manager was also super nice and always checked up on us. Food is great for the price and portions are huge, including great bread with every meal. I love The Cheesecake Factory in the states so I’m really happy I have a location nearby I can go to. Thanks for everything guys!
Good continental food that will suit everyone’s palate. They literally have around 100 meal options on their menu. All the meals were above par. A must-have is the following appetizer: Fried Macaroni and Cheese. The Godiva Chocolate Brownie Sundae looks amazing but I found the brownie to be a big too dense (perhaps it should be heated to make it soft?). The prices are a bit high ($20-30 for an entree) but the quantity is a lot. Service is excellent and the ambience is really nice, specially on the outdoor patio.
Easily my new favorite restaurant!! The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are perfect! The food quality is outstanding, I highly highly recommend this place to anyone. Yes there is quite a wait, but well worth it. Excellent assortment of menu items for gluten allergies as well!! The cheesecake desserts are a must try, reasonably priced as well. And again.. portion sizes are more than fair! Kudos to the staff, I will definitely be back!!!!
Not really a fan of the food. It tastes like an elevated version of food that has been prepared frozen and cooked when needed. The cheesecake isn't worth the price. The atmosphere and the customer service is good.
The worst cheesecake factory ever. They dont take reservations, you are told you have two tables ahead of you and suddenly you have 4…. The tables along the line have no curtains and people are either leaning back while you are eating or looking at your plate. Terrible

Menu has so many options to choose from! Amazing meal and great service from waiter Joshua D. Waits can be extremely long so aim for lunch if you can.
Let me just start off with the cheesecakes are so delicious. And that is expected. They are a bit sweet so if you don’t have a sweet tooth I would not get one. The portions are very large and well priced. Ceased salad is really good. My favourite item is the Cuban sandwich. I would not recommend the chicken piccata it was really greasy and the pasta was dry and stuck together. The 4 cheese pasta is ok but I find it a bit sweet. However the steak Diana was amazing and well as the shrimp that it came with. I would recommend coming an hour early to reserve a table as they don’t take reservations over the phone. It’s usually an hour wait. Overall the service is good, food is okay and the cheesecake is amazing.
The good: Portion size (depending on the dish), flavour (albeit a bit rich) and atmosphere. The bad: NO PRICES on the menu (this lead me to order a dish that was not only a small portion but also incredibly expensive for what it was -- lemon garlic shrimp scampi), supply shortages meaning a very limited selection of mixed drinks and smoothies, the wait time (2 hours at any given time from the moment you put your name on the waitlist) Is it worth it? Maybe for a special occasion once every two years, or to try it as a novelty for the first time.
Got a plain cheese cake to go. They said it was sliced and individually wrapped which it wasn't. Being frozen I finally cut it into serving pieces. I changed my review from 4 Stars to 5 Stars as Management has a positive attitude.
We attended the location in April on a Tuesday night, at that time the dinner rush wait time was approximately 1 hour. Only thing I wish I knew while waiting was range of the receivers for the table waiting system. I like systems that use cell phone numbers, I find them more reliable then other systems. Service in the beginning was amazing, food service in relation to quality and portion size was superb ???? The only issue I had was later in the night I felt like they forgot about our table, so we had to wait awhile to get the bill. Which was awkward because there was still quite a line of people waiting for tables and their you are waiting to pay and leave. Other than that little hiccup in the end, it was a great experience.
Easy pick up food still tasted good after a fairly long drive home and requested extra whipped cream and they didn't disappoint
Don’t recommend. The food was serve cold, and the cheese cake serve almost melted (hot plates). See the pic below. Never back again to place in Toronto. I love cheese cake factory e.g MIA, WAS, etc.
Placed a rather large order for pick-up. The food was prepared and ready at the time indicated. The packaging was sustainable. Staff was very courteous. Most importantly, the food was DELICIOUS. Highly recommend the pretzel balls, the sliders and the spinach dip. They did not disappoint. Worth every penny.
Service
Visted cheesecake factory several times and as always amazing service and food! We had the pleasure of Ayesha taking care of us and she was absolutely amazing! Service and recommendations by her were 10/10. Will definitely be back again!
The food was good, the cheesecake was really good! I had the caramel dolce when I went, it literally melts in your mouth. The only reason I would give 4 stars instead of 5 is cause of the ridiculous wait time. They should do reservations.
The lower rated reviews are based on TIME. Something of which they can't control. There is an influx of people wanting to eat here and my review is based solely on the quality of FOOD, which is amazing! 10/10 recommend. I don't even like cheesecake, but they somehow convinced me otherwise. As for service, there will always be hits and misses with the servers, take it as it is and just enjoy the experience with whomever you're with.
Huge portion for entree, reasonable price. Taste is ok but for the price and portion it is good. The complimentary brown bread is delicious. Wait time is 2-3 hrs for 2 people so make sure to come early and plan to shop at Yorkdale
The service often is a disaster. In most of the cases you have to wait hours to be seated and even if you want to order a piece of cheesecake for take away it takes more than 30 minutes! There are better places to have a fatty burger
Came here for my anniversary. Ordered bistro shrimp pasta and chicken and shrimp jambalaya, along with some dynamite shrimp. It Was a 2.5hr-3hr wait on a Saturday night but we went and watched a movie while waiting. Love the ambience and portion sizes! Will come again!
Our server tonight, Caitlin M, was phenomenal! I have been to Cheesecake multiple times before but the customer service tonight was absolutely exceptional. She was personable, attentive, and knew exactly what we needed. Thank you Caitlin!!
I love this place, the ambiance is nice. Love the interior! Service was great too. The strawberry cheese cake is the best. I personally didn't like the mango lemon one as much as the other

Amazing Place, for every occasion. Dating, family party or eating a quick bite. Must try. Was not as expensive as it is fancy.
Nice place to go for a meal. It's the only Cheesecake Factory in Toronto and a lot of hype with younger generations. Quite a variety on the menu to suit everyone. Getting a table is bit of a hassle.
Called in am and they said it was first come first serve and they don’t do reservations but when we got there we were told it’s at 3 HOUR wait (at 5:00). Went across to pickle barrel and we were seated instantly. If ur gonna have wait times over 30 minutes I think you should be able to make a reservation at that restaurant and not waste my time.

I absolutely loved the bang-bang chicken and shrimp and a side is the cherry cheesecake. The wait times are long, but the food is worth it
Finally got an opportunity to visit this place (due to very long wait-lines). The place is always busy, the stuff is friendly, the person who served me recommended and wisely advised best options to try. The place is open until 9pm. The only inconvenience: it's not possible to reserve the table in advance. Otherwise, highly recommend!

I don’t know what are the bad reviews about but I literally love this place. Every time I’m on the mood to try something new I prefer to go to Cheesecake Factory because I know whatever they make is AMAZING ???? l am currently in love with Fettuccini Alfredo and their ceaser salad ???? ????

I had the Bang-Bang chicken and shrimp. For dessert I got the Caramel Pecan Turtle Cheesecake. My friend got the Louisiana chicken pasta. Everything was so delicious!!! Sorry no photo of the Louisiana chicken and pasta.
I definitely see the pull of this restaurant, unfortunately it's just not for me. We had to wait over 2 hours to be seated which is fine I get that it's busy but the service was seriously lacking... took over 25 minutes to be brought water. Food I also was served with incorrect and it took about 25 minutes for the service come around to check on us. I will say that the pineapple cake is very good and so is the carrot cake.

Love it or hate it, you can't ignore it! What I liked Ambience. Lighting and decor. Professional staff. Even though the wait time was long, we were told clearly in advance. You will have to wait twice though. Once to get inside and then to be seated. Nice cutlery ☺️ Roasted mushroom flat bread pizza Complementary bread and butter Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch Cheesecake! It was yummy What I would have liked to see better A more relaxing experience. All the staff was in so much rush. At least 3-4 time we heard plates being dropped and broken. Little less crammed space. There was not enough place on the table to keep the plates and dishes. Even the isles were so narrow. Lasagna Verde was ok. It could have had better taste.
Always excellent food. Service at this location was ok, not great. Very long wait since no reservation was possible. Easy enough to register for a table then go walk the mall for an hour or so.
Service
The seating and service times were slightly longer but, it was understandable given the high volume around Christmas and COVID19 resurging. Overall, the food was above average with slightly high prices to reflect the quality. My four-star rating is granted based on the positive atmosphere and service. The waitresses were thorough and considerate with our orders and the interior looks well designed. I would recommend giving the restaurant a try. Consider the Bacon-Bacon Cheeseburger if you do!
Dinner
Quite possibly one of the greatest meals I’ve had. Food and service, and of course cheesecake, was superb, generous main portions as well. Appetizers to die for, highly recommend mac and cheese balls. Wait time was to be expected - and it’s worth it. (They’re not twiddling their thumbs in the back, they’re busy because it’s genuinely good food). Will surely be back if in the area.

Overpriced but it's a lot of food, so maybe you can get only one plate for 2 people if you eat much. It was my first time there and I always wanted to go for the Red Velvet Cheesecake but my expectations were higher unfortunately.... I would return but with lower expectations...
We arrived for dine in at 11 am for weekend brunch. We had to wait for our table but they allowed us to window shop while waiting for our table. Our table was ready before the 1 hour wait time we were quoted. We were able to quickly check in as per the new COVID protocols efficiently. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and attentive. We had a great experience and would love to come back in the near future.
I'm not going to complain about the 2 hours I had to wait to be seated cause that's the norm for this place on a Friday night in December. But the wait between the service of each meals was way too long. We got into the restaurant at 5:30 and didn't get seated until 7:30, by the time the appetizers came in it was 9 p.m. and then came the meals at 10 p.m. Don't even get me started about the desert which is just a slice of cake which took 20min. We were at a party at 3 and one of us ordered the Crab bites which were literally smaller than my teaspoon :( They didn't taste authentic but more like a crab can mixed with onions/seasonings and than battered and fried. The calamari and the shrimp was very standard but be aware the portions are American size. As a main meal, we got the eggplant parmesan and chicken Madeira. The eggplant Parmesan was was too big in portion and was too fried. The chicken Madeira was quite good surprisingly the rest of our food experience. We ended with sharing the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake which was amazing! The server was exceptional but the speed of the food service needs to be addressed. I definitely will not come back for dinner but it's worth to just come for the dessert or pick up your desserts.

Well apart from the 4 hour waiting time! The food was great. We went on the weekend. I would recommend either going for a movie and then some shopping to kill the time! We ordered Oreo milkshake, peach smoothie, steak Diane and chicken Madeira. Best part it tasted just like the one in Dubai...so we were happy ????
23th November I am visiting my daughter and son in law from the UK.After being seated we had the most wonderful waitress Sherri. She not only served us she made polite conversation and made us laugh. The food was amazing and the cakes well I have no words on how delicious they were. Worth every penny
Thank you for bringing some sweetness in the middle of this pandemic. The cheesecakes are never a disappointment. I am not a big fan on the other items on the menu but then it can be just a personal liking. Going to cheesecake factory always bring some smile to everyone in my family.
Dine in
Good food, good price. It will be 5 stars if they could serve more efficiently. It took one hour before we ordered.
I’ve been here twice. This is a tourist and local hotspot! It’s located inside of yorkdale shopping mall, and you can enter from the outside or inside the mall. This restaurant is busy busy all the time! They do not take reservations! Expect to wait 1 to even 4 hours depending on if you’re coming for lunch/dinner and during peak hours! Plan accordingly! If you want to eat and shop here, drop by the restaurant, grab a buzzer then shop and wait for them to let you know when your table is ready. The range on the buzzers is pretty far but not the whole mall so be careful. They do offer takeout/to-go. There’s a station inside yorkdale but outside of the restaurant that allows you to do this. Once you’re seated, the menus may overwhelm you. There are a looot of items you can choose from. They have a skinny menu if you’re conscious about calories, they have a special lunch menu as well. The prices are high but the portion sizes are massive! After you’ve ordered they serve some bread and butter. The overall flow isn’t bad, the employees are knowledgeable and efficient. The service is okay. The establishment is so busy, everyone’s gotta hustle. It is a little loud so I wouldn’t recommend this place for a romantic dinner.
They have many choices on the menu but nothing really tasted spectacular or amazing. The portion is surprising smaller than other Cheesecake Factory I have been. It's totally not worth 2 hours wait to get a table.

Great mid-upper tier class restaurant. Service was super welcoming, food is delicious and considerably high end with it's price tag. Cheesecake is great - but don't expect a life-changing experience, especially at it's price level. Overall worth the money and experience. Wait was a little longer than expected (70 mins), but overall definitely a place to eat at, at least once
Weekend wait time for lunch can be around 2 hours, but they give you a buzzer and you can walk around the mall until your table is ready. Dishes and cheesecake are usually delicious, and service is quick and friendly. The place can get like a zoo at time (really packed) but food and ambiance are worth it.
Excellent place for dessert, lots of seating, spacious and clean. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Only would have been less frustrating if they accepted reservations as oppose to first come first serve line up basis, and waiting for a couple hours min.
Lunch
I had a great experience. This place is Massive and expect to wait a bit. They told us 15 to 20mins but it ended up being 10mins. Service was good and food was fantastic. Size and presentation was great. I took some back home. Pasta was well cooked with a very tasty sauce and lots of meat. The salmon was great. Also cooked properly. Salad dressing was perfectly balanced Now, you don't necessarily go to the Cheesecake Factory for the food, but their CHEESE CAKE. OMG! Was fantastic. I shared a peanut butter and fudge Cheesecake. Very rich, dense and delicious. One for 2 of us was more than enough. It is a very large menu. Prices are a bit pricey but the size of the place compensates. The only CON would be the wait. Nothing they can do about that. I'll definitely go again
I am a vegetarian and I thoroughly enjoyed Barbecue Ranch Chicken Salad sans Chicken ofcourse! I am so glad I got it when I had given up on the menu. Thanks to our server Sarah. Please include more vegan options that doesnt include eggs or any meat. Loved the warm starter breads too. We ordered the Very cherry cheesecake which was good too.
This place introduces very nice cheesecakes and food. They have outdoor heating but not for all seats. Unfortunately, there is always a waiting list with an average of two hours.
Humongous restaurant, ordered lunch specials- meatloaf & fish/chips. Meatloaf came with gravy, mash potatoes and corn, very generous portion, however the fish/chips although done very well, they could have been more generous with the fish. Be aware, extra gravy for meatloaf is an extra $4!. Atmosphere pleasant, but not too noisy although most tables were occupied during peak lunch hour. A pricey lunch but quality matched the price point. Didn't have enough room for cheesecake so decided to order their original slice to take out. Nicely packed which also included a large dollop of whip cream.
The only reason I am giving 3 stars is due to the fact that we were (thankfully) able to order cheese cake take out. It was definitely nice but not worth all this hassle. On the 20th we called in to reserve a spot for 5, they informed us only walk ins. We drove all the way from Mississauga the next day only to find the lady by the door telling us groups of 5 are not permissible and that she can only take in 4 people. When we informed her we have come a long way and we can split to two groups and we are okay not to sit together. She proceeded by saying that for 2 people the wait would be 2-3 hours same goes for the group of 3. Basically telling us to leave. Zero understanding of how to deal with customers. Either via the call center or in person. Sad experience.

Service
Out of the entire world, this is my wife and I's favorite restaurant. If you haven't come, do not hesitate. Nonetheless, please consider the following: there is no reservation and the wait times approximate to 1-2 hours. Hence, get in, register, and then walk Yorkdale Mall and visit the nice stores that it offers.
Sensational!!! This is our go to stop when visiting the States but we were a little concerned because most stores coming to Canada end up loosing their essence. Not Cheesecake Factory. It has the same personality that makes it a hit in the USA - including the long wait time to get in. The only thing they have changed is the portion sizes and the menu is unique in every location. If you are thinking about going you will not be disappointed.
Not worth the hype. Food is pretty average that you can get anywhere, but for a cheaper price. The portion size is kinda big - depending on what you're getting. Dessert was a disappointment. Did not expect a makeshift strawberry shortcake made out of 3 dry biscuits with extremely cold icecream in the middle;however, it was pretty big for 1 person alone. The only good side is not having to wait on a Monday at early noon and the friendly service. BUT there isn't much spacing between tables if you're worried about that during a pandemic.
This was the first time i visited this place just for the love of cheese cake....and it has left the best impression. Though had to wait for over 45 mins the wait was worth it. Recommended
Great restaurant. Menu is huge lots of options! That I find it hard to choose! Their brown curtesy bread is so good! A must try! Leave a space for desserts just because it’s really good and there are a lot of different things that you can choose from. I found their steak is just perfect! Most dishes that has an Italian kinda taste are just great there. Staff is kind helpful and friendly. They try to make you happy. Usually it’s busy so Wait times are sometimes long but I find that if you book in advance it’s fine. Or shop around in the mall during waiting. Drinks was good. They packed the leftovers for us to go in black plastic container. It’s recyclable. We sat in the booth it was great. Decorations and lighting are nice. When you arrive there you go at the front desk first to be seated. Feel free to ask them about different things on the menu they know it’s a big menu and they will help you choose :) I uploaded photos for the menu too. They also have a skinny menu for low carbs food. I only tried it once but I didn’t really like the chicken pot pie in the menu but blame it on me wanting the pie crust and not the low carbs substitute :) Lots of birthdays there too! No black pepper or Parmigiana cheese was offered for the pasta but we didn’t really ask for it. Not sure if they offer it or not. But it would have been nice for the pasta plate.
One most visit this place It has awesome service, menu, food, drink’s and delicious dessert The quality and texture of nachos was really good ????

We got immediate seating at the bar, and it was a wonderful dining experience. I had previously avoided dining here due to their no reservations policy. I can’t believe I missed out on this place for so long. The menu was extensive and diverse. I can’t wait to taste everything else on future visits. The staff was patient, calm, friendly and polite. They all seem very happy working there, and it reflects in their attitude towards customers. There is a no stress vibe. I love it. The food was delicious and the desserts were amazing. They serve big portions, so be prepared to leave with extra food, or if you have a big appetite, this is ideal. There was a moment of zen I experienced while sitting there. Fields of Gold was playing in the background while I was sipping on my superbly made cappuccino. Thank you Cheesecake Factory for giving me that moment of happiness. I can’t wait to come back for more.
Absolutely wrong info about the waiting time, average wait time is 3-4 hours from the first moment you are there until you are seated. Decor were nice, service was great, staff were nice, that alone worth 6 stars. HOWEVER even though the food LOOKS nice, tough steak and over cooked mushy pasta, that worth ZERO star. Last but not least, the desert that I got weren't bad at all. I guess is my fault, after all it's called "Cheesecake factory" I should have put my expectation on the cheesecake and cheesecake only because the food was definitely not worth the 4 hours wait.
Exemplary customer service and amazing food! The Godiva chocolate cheesecake is a must have. A special note of thanks towards Mr Donovan.B who served us with utmost care and quality support! He was so very kind and patient with our queries and offered great suggestions based on our preferences. We feel truly happy to have received such wonderful service. Will definitely recommend this place!
The place is so busy and popular. We were told the wait time was 2 hours around 4:30. So we went for shopping and came back around 6:15. The bread is amazing. It is so crispy and delicious. We ordered the Eggroll Sampler and Steak Diane. The sampler is great to try out different kinds of egg rolls. The steak and mashed potato are well seasoned and delicious. Definitely will visit again.
Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite restaurants. Friendly staff, great food, very large portions, and everyone knows how delicious their cheesecakes are.
Service
The food is okay, service is okay, wait times once seated are long, sweet dishes are way too sweet. Many items on the menu not available even lemonade, so be ready to switch your mind on a whim. Huge portions, so that's a plus. Comfy atmosphere, yet very loud. Good coffee.
Prepare to be in a long line, both for dine-in and take out, it could be an hour before you get a table. We had the Napoletana, Louisiana and another dish. It is good to experience dining in this restaurant chain but the taste of the food is not worth the long wait. Servings are huge, we boxed leftovers yet we still had food coma afterwards, walking around the mall helped. The brown bread is an instant favorite, it comes free and a welcome treat after waiting to be seated. We did not like the cheesecake that our server recommended - a strawberry slice and a lemon flavored one.

Never go wrong with TCF . One of my top choices in the city. The plenty of patience you require to secure a table at this restaurant is rewarded by a great elections of dishes for everyone‘a taste. Tips: Since you have to wait sometimes 4 hours to secure a table go in a large group and take turns while waiting , run errands, go shopping or walk the mall.
Called to make a reservation as the website says you may. When I called they said reservations are not available at this location and to just walk up as the wait time was 15-20 min. We walked from Avengers Station and stood in line to be on the list and were now told 50 min. wait. Why bother telling people a time and then be off so bad. Just don’t bother. This wait time in line is greatly influenced by the host being interrupted by people to go in or make a reservation but not stand in line. Manager was rude and short instead of listening to a suggestion of giving the host a helper to answer those random questions and divert the traffic to stand in line she was stuck “on the fact that stanchions could not be added and that if the mall let her do that then she would have set up tables in the hallway!” With this kind of management things can only improve!!!! ????♀️

They have the best cheesecakes ever! I love them! They are a bit pricy =) but really worth it. Staff are super nice and friendly. The wait time sometimes is long. I also love their fried mac n cheese. Their cheese burger is quite delicious as well. *Last time we visited them, it was quite annoying that they didn’t treat us nice when we only showed digital ID and Vaccination proof. My aunt had her physical ID but I forgot my wallet and they could talk it out to us nicer. At the end they sat us in the patio in very far back and the entire time we had to hear a beep noise from opening the staff kitchen door. I also went to front desk and asked them to secretly tell out waitress to put HBD on cheesecake so it would be a surprise and even though they said absolutely, they didn’t and when cheesecake came empty, I had to tell waitress myself and she apologized and said no one told her. It was my aunt’s birthday and it didn’t turn out as enjoyable. My Instagram: arghavans_appetite
Can't go wrong with the cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory. The food can sometimes be hit or miss, but this time it was a hit. We ordered the Jambalaya pasta. The chicken was tender and the seafood was tasty, but the pasta was a little overdone for my taste. Service was friendly and the ambience is as advertised. Certainly a place to visit every now and then.
Overall the experience wasn’t bad. We waited about 40 minutes for a table which was fine considering we didn’t make a reservation. The waiter wasn’t very attentive and was all over the restaurant. The food was decent and the cheesecake was alright, not really anything special or better than any grocery level cheesecake. Everything is more on the expensive side. Nice to go every once in a while I guess but wouldn’t go often or soon.

The food was great and their cheesecakes are to die for. The service was wonderful from the waiters to bakery people. But the star of the night was definitely Cathrine at the front door. There was a bit of a waiting list (we were starving and contemplating to go somewhere else) and she went above and beyond to keep us company, all while accommodating other customers and being the main team player with her coworkers. Thanks Catherine for making our night with your genuine customer service
One word: meh. I have been here a number of times and it is never quite lived up to the hype. Strictly okay with the food and overpriced and never really that great service. One thing they should consider is simplifying the menu. They seem to do a ton of different dishes and none of them did they do particularly well.

This place was very nice! The interior was very fancy and the staff service was amazing. Our server had some amazing jokes. On to the food, I ordered the Smokehouse B.B.Q. Burger and had no complaints. I finished the whole thing and everything was amazing about it. I also went to try there butternut squash and sweet oil soup and that was something I needed to come back for. The only reason why I'm putting it at 4 stars is because it is pretty expensive which I understand. Final verdict: try it out!!!
Place is super packed! Uncanny how many people take their weekend brunch here! Staff was a delightful and positive person. Congrats for having such a positive worker in your staff. Food is amazing, as always! Best veggie burger I had in ages
Lunch
Excellent service and food. Great value for your dollar! Enough food per serving to share with lots left over to take home. Cheese cake was excellent! We came here on a Tuesday at 5:00 pm no lineup we got seated right way! Our servers as very attentive and made sure we were looked after well!
Expect to see many people there walking in and out
This is a very unique and one of its kind restaurant. Excellent service, delicious food, perfect menu and great ambiance… This is our favorite restaurant in Canada… I love everything they have in the menu ????????????
The pasta is unreal. Every pasta I have tried is delicious. Portions are good for sharing and the cheesecakes are also good. It is infamous for the long seating time but if you come during off hours it is not bad at all. I always come on weekday nights or for early lunch to avoid long line. Service is always friendly. Appetizers I would recommend the egg roll sampler.
First impression is that it has weird decor but people seemed excited to be there. We were seated within 15 minutes. The staff was nice and very attentive. The food was not the greatest. There wasn’t enough chicken in my salad and it was poorly crafted. Just a bunch of vegetables thrown together and tasteless Alfredo pasta. The cheesecakes however were phenomenal. Would give it at least 4 stars for the cheesecake but everything else was essentially disappointing.
Wait time was 2 hours. The food portion is large. The food tasted good. The food temperature was warm most parts.
Called to make a reservation as the website says you may. When I called they said reservations are not available at this location and to just walk up as the wait time was 15-20 min. Always a favourite spot for good food! The wait is always the annoying part, and we ended up waiting for 2 hours, but this was expected and spending 2 hours in a huge mall with a good friend really wasn’t all that difficult. The food was delicious with huge portions. The two of us split the crab dip, a pasta, and cheesecake, which was more than enough for each of us and we also had leftovers to take home!
Came here to celebrate my birthday, the food was delicious and the service was great! If you vegan or a vegetarian they have a lot of options, we got the veggie burger, Evelyn's pasta, and the tomato basil pasta. Everything tasted fresh and flavourful. Afterwards got treated with the complimentary cheesecake for birthdays and that was super delicious. It is a bit expensive but is worth the buck since the portion sizes are HUGE and the food is yummy, also vegetarian/vegan friendly. The server was very sweet, but expect to wait a long time to get served.
Before the latest lockdown, I took my Dad for lunch here several times. He loves the meatloaf. I'm a vegetarian...the menu has enough options for me. I recommend the 'Spicy Chicken Chipotle Pasta' minus the chicken. The cheesecakes are good and the chocolate tower cake was huge. If you go on a weekday before noon the wait is not long at all
Service
Came in to Dine for the first time ever. Got to say it was worth every hype I've ever heard so far. An amazing environment to be, with some of the most polite and dedicated staff members. Not to mention the cleanliness, also it's a beautiful place to be in. The music alongside the vibe is right for just yourself or a group of people. If your vegetarian, please give the Cauliflower Tacos a shot alongside the Mac&Cheese they serve. On god that was BUSSINNNN!!!
the manager and the server is super super super nice and patient and even responsible to what they do。 they really care about if we get the right food ,if we enjoy the food and if we like what we order. the chief got my order wrong then the server change it, and later when it comes, the beef is not done right, she asked me and changed it for me again right away. I was surprised by her enthusiasm and professional. definitely recommand this place and worth the 80 mins wait.
We had a wonderful experience! Good food, tender meat and pleasant ambiance. It is a very busy place so be prepared to wait for 2 hrs or more to get in. Phone eservations are not accepted so you have to go there personally to get a number. Fortunately, Yorkdale is a huge mall so you can walk around and do window shopping while waiting.
I am very happy they have a pick up/take out section on the side. Just a warning, you should expect to pay premium for food from here. The slices look small but are very filling. Amazing taste. The classic one isn't too overwhelmingly sweet
5/5 the waitress Named Lawny Is the one to go to very respectful and she let me know which pasta sauce had alcohol because I only eat halal I got the bistro shrimp with Alfredo sauce based on the waitress suggestion! Brought lots of bread and butter and food was great! Would recommend going there early though!
It was my first time at Cheesecake Factory and we went there to celebrate a friend's birthday. To begin I have to say the server that was managing our section, she is awesome. I believe her name is Naomi if it is correct as per the name on the receipt. She was so pleasant from beginning to the end. It was so nice to have her. Now my ratings for the appetizers and main courses is not as good as I expected. I had search for reviews before going to the Cheesecake Factory. One of my friend and I got the "Fried Macaroni and Cheese" and it was super salty hard to enjoy but on the other hand the "Avocado Eggrolls" were great. I would recommend the "Avocado Eggrolls". Now for the main courses I got the "Louisiana Chicken Pasta" it was good but the "Shepherd's Pie" it was horrible definitely found it bad taste and very oily. The Cheesecake I got was the "Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake", it was pretty good since I never had Cheesecake before. So overall food experience was alright definitely don't think the price is reasonable for some of the plates quality and taste, to be honest a little disappointing. Don't think I will go back for their dinner dishes. I do want to thank our server, she is awesome!
First time going to this place. 1. Checking in; the two employees standing outside the restaurant were leaning on the podium showing no motivation or customer service smiles. Their communication and body language could use some improvement. 2. We were seated buy the employee exit/entrance door not realizing it was a terrible idea. Given the inclement weather of the snow fall and -5 temperature. The employees were using this door to access the restaurant. My family and I were very uncomfortable we had to put on our winter jackets the entire stay. 3 hours of hot & cold, I hope no one gets sick. So far everyone is well. We had to eat quick because of the cold air our meals were cooling very fast. As part of customer comfort and operational planning. The boss man should have informed the staff to use the other two main entrances to the restaurant. 3. The women’s rest room was a disaster to see the garbage bins over flowing, 3 out of the six women’s restrooms were out of toilet paper which tells me this place lacks sanitation up-keeping. 4. They asked us if we wanted bread, we said yes please. We did not expect the bread to reach us after we finished the appetizers & walkway into our mains. Reason was they were not ready, yet the bread did not seem like they just came out of the oven when we got it. The food was delicious, my family could have enjoyed it without the rushing out given out experience. The waiters were nice, kept checking in and were on point with our orders. For a crown franchise, I expected nothing but a clean, welcoming and comfortable experience. Thanks & Be well Mohiadin
Cheesecake factory has delicious food! I had the angel hair shrimp pasta and margarita. I liked how the margarita was made here. For dessert we had tuxedo cheesecake and the New York cheesecake.
Although it’s very crowded and you have to wait long to be seated, they serve high quality tasty food and drinks.

So happy to have a Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Canada. It is the same experiece as the US location at Walden Galleria though, you will wait hours for a table. It's worth it though for a fun eating experience. Food and menu variety are great and rival the cheesecakes. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. My only gripe with the place is that they took the Carrot Cake Cheesecake off the menu. Boo! Bring it back!
Came during covid and the tables were spaced out nicely. They have a nice patio as well. Food was great, big portions. Of course, I went for the cheesecake and it never disappoints.
Absolutely terrible. We waited for 2 hours when they said it was a 45 minute wait for a table for 5 plus a high chair or stroller (we told them right when we entered). They finally screened us in after asking multiple times if they were ready (They would say 5-10 min and we’d wait close to 20 before going back to ask if they were ready). When we started walking towards the table they told us they couldn't accommodate the stroller or a high chair in the particular table they were taking us to. My baby is 9 months old, and was a sleep. I was supposed to wake her up and hold her in my lap while we ate, or wait another 30 min for another table. Like how ridiculous is this. When we asked to speak to a manager, they had the audacity to say we are giving you an opportunity and apologize for the miscommunication. We drove 45 min to get here for my husband's birthday dinner. We ended up going next door to pickle barrel and were seated within 2 min. Horrible service. Will never set foot here again. Ruined our entire evening after a long day of work by making us wait 2 hours and still not getting seated. I understand some things don’t time out correctly but you can be truthful about the wait times and a little more apologetic vs an unemotional sorry with an it is what it is attitude.
The wait has always put me off this place but I finally got a chance to try it and oh my, putting the wait aside - this restaurant was amazing! Food: Appetizers: - The complementary bread served is one of the better ones I’ve tasted at a restaurant so make sure you get and eat that with the butter, a perfect combination. - Avocado egg rolls. Oh my were these surprisingly delicious! Highly recommend this as weird as it sounds. - Buffalo blasters. How these were so good for such a simple dish. The filling was soooo good. - Stuffed mushrooms was too good to be a mushroom dish - felt like a meat one! - Egg roll sampler. The avocado egg roll was so good we wanted to try all of them and did not regret it at all! Definitely recommend getting the sampler to try them all. Mains: Got so stuffed from the appetizers that we only got one entree (note: the main portions are MASSIVE so be careful when ordering) - We tried the Louisiana chicken pasta who’s sauce was good and the chicken was great. Great dish nothing tooo unique though. Desert: - the salted caramel cheesecake was too good! I wish I had more space to try more. Drinks: Skinny Margarita - I was super surprised by how good this drink was with how little calories it has. 100% always having this. Peach Bellini - really good, tasted like peach fuzzes! Passion Mojito - The mojito was so good and refreshing, couldn’t taste much of the alcohol too. Service: Our server was great. Biggest let down is the wait times that are really long especially on the weekends. Vibe: The decor and patio are so good! I was super impressed. Value: You pay for what you get. The quantity and quality was really good so no complaints. Will be back for sure!
This chain never ceases to amaze me. I've visited them in a few countries and it's always the same consistent great experience. Food is always delicious, service is fast, staff is professional, prices are very fair. Never been disappointed. Riesling chicken was very tasty and the Korean chicken so crunchy and sauce was perfect. The cherry cake was a true delight, the combination of cherry and chocolate is a guaranteed cure for any sweet tooth.
Before I go onto why I am giving my most recent visit a 1 star rating, I would like to clarify that my wife and I have come here many times previously and have received exemplary service! Thus, this particular incident with an employee doesn't speak for the entire team itself but I feel this should be noted given the absolute unwarranted; atrocious behavior of one of the employees... Yesterday on my wife's birthday, my wife and family's from both sides went in to order cheesecake for takeout, the lady at the cash register listened and responded to our queries in a very unfriendly and rude manner, in any case, we proceeded to giving in our orders and requested her many times to kindly let us know how many slices of cheesecake she had logged into our final order as we wanted to make sure there was enough cheesecake for everyone (pretty reasonable request I felt at the time), she responded by saying "okay... You guys are confused, it is not my job to count for you" and then she began getting into an argument with my wife and began borderline shouting the order back to me. Note to management at the cheesecake factory, please teach your employees to speak in a respectful and civil tone to customers, I am willing to speak with a team of management and help them identify this individual as the behavior she put forth was nothing short of obnoxious and is absolutely unacceptable...
It was a busy Monday night, but the service was great and the food was excellent. I had an Oreo milkshake, Tai coconut curry dish and ended with coconut cream pie cheesecake. We have been here before and look forward to coming back.
As stated by others, the wait is long. I've gone three times and I've waited approximately 2-3 hours each time to get a table. The food is great tasting. The portion sizes are more than reasonable. The atmosphere and decorations are very welcoming. I would highly recommend going if you have a couple hours to wait.
Underwhelming and over-rated. Waited approx. 1 hour and 10 minutes for a table then another 30-40 minutes for food to arrive (dinner). Average food quality. Large portion sizes but all dishes were bland and expensive. Not worth the wait. Everyone says that US locations are better. Would recommend going for lunch for those who want to try.
Worth the wait! Good quality food with large portions - our server jeremy was great and super friendly - definently recommend

Given that this location is incredibly busy, it is VERY professionally run. The staff are trained very well, and they are very friendly. The dishes are priced well, and the portions are large. Two people can get main dishes and dessert for $70. The appetizers are amazing, just try the sliders. Large menu, about 75% of the main dishes are good. The cheesecake is out of this world. Expect to wait between 0.5-2 hours, depending on the time of day, but the location is in the mall so you won't be bored. Enjoy! #cheesecakefactory #cheesecake
I absolutely loved the bang-bang chicken and shrimp and a side is the cherry cheesecake. The wait times are long, but the food is worth it
It was my first time going, yesterday, Friday night, was super busy so e couldn't get a table so we order to go. First of all, food is very expensive, then we waited 40 minutes when they said 20 to 25 minutes, then there were missing some items ????. Even though, I can afford it, I wouldn't go more than once a year, I have priorities. The good side is that the place is nice (still I am not impressed with fancy because fancy doesn't mean anything to me), food tastes good (which tasted like my country's food,Mexico) and staff is courteous. I will change my rating once I am able to get a table to see and get the full service (next year)????
Service
Cheese Cake Factory was one of my most favourite choice for Italian food in Toronto. However, I had many inappropriate experiences from their staff time to time, but my last experience was the worst experience ever. One of my friend has achieved something really big in her life and we wanted to celebrate her success. So, I thought what would have been then Cheese cake! I called this guys 5 hours in advance to book a cake for her and went their to pick it up. After, I reached to Brampton which was almost 40 minutes drive from their location. When I took out the cake for cut, I realized that I ordered their Fresh Strawberry Cake which was for $40 and they gave me regular cheese cake which was for $25. I was so disappointed in-front of my friend and her family and was feeling as being cheated by this reputed restaurant. I called their general manager and explained this situation and said I will sue you guys in the court and he said I will let my head office know about this and someone from the head office will call you. I waited almost two weeks no one called. The Cheese Cake Factory is the worst place to visit as their staff treat you inappropriately and disrespectfully.
They could do much better with organizing and making the reservation / waiting process more efficiently. We were asked to use the main door and we we got to the main door, they asked it to go to back and wait from the mall entrance. I saw people waiting in line and turned to the other entrance. As for the food, I got the pasta lunch portion with shrimps and I had exactly 3 shrimps for my $25 meal. Not sure if 3 shrimps are the portion or they are just being a little cheap.
the manager and the server is super super super nice and patient and even responsible to what they do。 they really care about if we get the right food ,if we enjoy the food and if we like what we order. the chief got my order wrong then the server change it, and later when it comes, the beef is not done right, she asked me and changed it for me again right away. I was surprised by her enthusiasm and professional. definitely recommand this place and worth the 80 mins wait.
Went to Cheesecake Factory for the first time with my brother and had the privilege of being taken care of by Jerome. Such an incredible experience! So unbelievably kind, considerate, and caring! Was so patient with going over the menu with us and answering all of our questions. Even went above and beyond to bring us a candle for our cheesecake when he noticed us taking a pictures! Little gestures like that goes to show how caring someone is! I would go back and specifically ask for him! Thank you Jerome for everything!
Wait time on a Saturday night was 1.5 hrs which isn't bad. The food was fresh, flavourful and worth the big hype, it's one of the best chains out there. The server, Jesse, was very attentive and suggested great options as the menu is a bit overwhelming with so many options. The food came out in a decent time considering the place was jam packed with lines out every door.
Enjoyed our time at the Cheesecake Factory today, food portions were huge as always, service at the table was good, server was nice and helpful. We ordered the Thai Lettuce Wrap for an appetizer, the chicken parmesan pizza style and the chicken with mushrooms in wine sauce (forgot the exact name) for main. Only downside is that it took us 2 hours and 15 mints of waiting to get a table !!
Beautiful place. If you're careful you can eat pretty inexpensively for such a nice spot. Not exactly intimate. Lots on the menu, friendly fast service.
Amazing experience as always. Brought my mom for a birthday brunch. Brunch was great, we had the cinnamon roll pancakes with eggs and bacon, fried chicken and waffles as well as the jambalaya hash. Also ordered a whole cake for my mom. Everything was great including the food, customer service and attentiveness. Absolutely recommend!!
Thank you!
The food proportions are US style, huge. Make it sharable to do justice to them. The quality, the service, the options are just like the parent branches in USA. And just like down south there is a big waiting list. If you want to beat the reservation, do morning brunch, that can help you skip the wait list. Else walk-in can expect a 60 to 90 min wait. Reservation online is other option. Enjoyable for its food and experience.
I ordered takeout from Cheesecake Factory. The renee’s special is 18.95. I’ve ordered this twice before during the height of pandemic so I know what to expect and it is always delicious and is as expected, always a good portion size as this is what they’re known for. If you can see from the picture. This was atrocious. A kid’s menu sandwich would be better portioned than this. Not only did I wait half an hour in the mall for this meal, they didn’t give me dressing, it came packaged like this, and they gave me the wrong sandwich (I ordered the chicken almond and I confirmed twice with the cashier). There was also a soup on the side which is not included in the picture. Also note the brown lettuce. I did not discover this until I got home because they had stapled the bag together or else I would have asked for a refund on the spot. Won’t be ordering here again.

The loaded burrito was so good and thr cheesecake was the best I've had so creamy and tasty. 4 stars because the sweet and sour cauliflower bites tasted different towards the end. The sauce gathered at the bottom and thry became too sweet and did not taste good, can probably only be eaten when dining in.
Social distancing observed very well at this location. We did wait 2.5 hours for a table on Saturday night. I was upset with where they had seated us so I spoke up and we only had to wait 5-10 minutes for a different seat. Our waitress Renata C was top notch! She was attentive and pleasant, made excellent menu recommendations, quick and friendly service, not overbearing and best of all asked the right questions about dietary preferences. Thank you for accommodating our “only brown bread” request and for your great service. As we were leaving the restaurant the floor manager greeted us with a smile and a thank you. Nice touch! Star removed due to the Pumpkin Cheesecake actually being frozen when it came to our table, I only could eat a couple bites and took it home since it was un-edible on site.
Very busy day a few items were off the menu due to shortage. But being holidays understandable. Overall cheesecake was always phenomenal.
Best cheese cake and delicious food But waiting list usually 2-3 hours
Visited here around 11:15AM on a Wednesday and got a buzzer right away. In an hour, we were in and ready to order immediately (read the menu while waiting). I've been to the Cheesecake Factory in Boston and I love the big portion salads for a fair price. I was expecting higher prices in Canada but surprised seeing they've kept the prices low (similar to US). We've ordered the FACTORY CHOPPED SALAD and PASTA CARBONARA. The salad is huge and loaded with chicken/avocado (I don't get the dressing). The pasta is big and very tasty. For cheescake, we tried the ADAM'S PEANUT BUTTER CUP FUDGE RIPPLE CHEESECAKE and ULTIMATE RED VELVET CAKE CHEESECAKE. The cheesecake is too big and heavy (high calories 800-1500). I wish they could serve half of the size (half of the cost). My favorite cheesecake is the original. The rest of the cheesecake is extremely sweet. This place is my go to place if it wasn't so busy.
This was my first time eating here and I really enjoyed it!! Only thing is beware there are 2 menus to order from: Skinny and Regular (I didn't know the skinny menu serves less food on your plate). Overall the food was good but a bit pricey. You get a free bread basket while you wait for your food. The service was fast and friendly. For dessert we ordered the Oreo cheesecake, Reese Peanut Butter (this has chocolate cake layered with the cheese cake), and Adam Peanut butter fudge all 3 cheesecakes were truly AMAZING!! We also tried the Tuxedo cheesecake it was good but nothing special. Overall fancy, clean, and enjoyable restaurant for family and friends!

Food okay, service was great! Had the chicken and waffle benedict, orange chicken and spinach dip. Items tasted better at their US locations. Service was great but not great enough to overshadow the food. Update: came back and food was still mediocre, can get better food elsewhere. But the options are still good for food and service is really good.
Long wait times (2 hours) yet they don’t take reservations. The food was decent. Nothing too fancy for the price. The kitchen staff were super nice but our waitress was rude. We asked her how long it takes for the food to arrive so we have an idea and because we were starving from the 2 hour wait. She said “well it’s food so it will take 10-15mins!”
The taste of the food from my memory in the states (last time was 3 years go) was way better than this. We had: - jambalaya pasta: has not much flavour other than a bit spicy - steak Diane: only dish that slightly above mediocre - carb cake bites: pretty mediocre - strawberry cheese cake: we asked for the least sweet option and it’s still way too sweet in my opinion. I felt like I was eating sugar Overall the portions are big but the taste is the food is well below mediocre. And the price is not very cheap either. I think there are a lot other better options. The wait was long (we asked for a table for 2 at 5pm on Saturday, and got the table at 7:30). But it does not impact the review because it’s in a mall and there are lots to do during the wait time.

I have never been a fan of the massive lines here but they do served done good food. In a large birthday party group, we were able to order a lot of food. If you are a vegetarian the eggplant parmigiana was delicious and if you like a Olive oil pasta with no other spice, this is for you. I also liked the Louisiana Chicken pasta which was spicy and beautifully fried. There were some mashed potatoes served with a chicken breast which were delicious. Everything else was good, the tomato basil pasta and the veggie burger but nothing to rave above. Cheese cakes- mango key lime and the brownie sundae. The former for your fruity palette and the latter for mind-blowing chocolicious goodness. A place for large groups, lot of menu options and also a kid pleasing dishes. Be prepared for long wait time especially during the weekend. Thankfully it's inside a mall and a good way to kill time and create an appetite.
Takes me back to good times when we can travel to the States. Food is solid - we ordered the most popular chicken dish and it did not disappoint (Chicken Medeira). The food actually tasted a lot better than my experiences in the US. Pleasantly surprised! The service is FANTASTIC. Waiters were super attentive and quick. It’s been so long since I’ve been to a restaurant in Toronto that actually offers complementary bread before your meal. Loved it. Most restaurants nowadays cheap out of this option. Ordered the strawberry cheesecake to finish, and although it stood a bit pricy in its own ($12.50 for a slice) it was a good cheesecake. I came for the experience and the good food and it didn’t disappoint. I don’t think I would have enjoyed it as much as takeout since the prices are not cheap, the ambience and service really does make the difference.
Went to cheesecake factory on Aug.17th, 2021 This place went from 1 star to 5 stars within 4 hours from the time we put our name down to the time we were finished our meal. We were told by the hostess the wait time would be about 1.5 hrs. which we were prepared for and didn’t mind. She also notified us that the fryers were down, so the only thing fried we could get would be french fries or sweet potatoes fries. Again not a problem because we wanted steak tacos and NY steak. After about 1.5 hours we were notified that our table was ready. Our server was Donovan, he was nice, hospitable and informative. He made sure we were aware that the fryers were down but fries and sweet potato fries they could accommodate. We ordered the steak tacos and a medium rare NY steak. The steak tacos were pretty good but were told it would have been better with the fried onions it was supposed to be accompanied with if they didn't have issues with the fryer. We noticed the steak was over cooked so we informed Donovan and he returned it back to the kitchen and made us aware they were making us a new one. During that time the floor manager apologetically came over to us to apologize for the inconvenience and offered us a salad or anything they could do in the meantime. It was nice of them to do so but we were just fine with the honey oat bread. After a few minutes or so whom I assume was the chef, came out and handed us a plate of a newly cooked NY steak cooked exactly to our medium rare liking. He also mentioned that he personally made it himself. Donovan came to make sure we were happy with our steak and after a few minutes the chef came back again to make sure we were happy with the food. Overall, we appreciate the customer service given to us especially with all the issues the restaurant was dealing with that day.
I had a great experience at the restaurant. It is usually always busy, so expect a 30-45 minute wait at peak times. The host and waitress that served us were amazing. Our waitress recommended the restaurants top and signature dishes. Food was also great. Overall, great customer experience!
Great portions, welcoming to kids and very good spacing for COVID19 restrictions. I had the fish and chips and the fish batter had no seasoning and lack taste. My wife had Baha chicken taco and she experience the same as me. My children had pepperoni pizza and spaghetti and meatballs and that was awesome however the pasta was a bit under done(how? This is the easiest thing to cook). Server was nice and friendly.
Amazing variety on the menu. I even take my picky eating parents here since there is literally something for everyone here. I would recommend making sure to come early on evenings and weekends since there is almost always a queue to get in
Nice place to go for a meal. It's the only Cheesecake Factory in Toronto and a lot of hype with younger generations. Quite a variety on the menu to suit everyone. Getting a table is bit of a hassle.
Long wait to get in. Long wait to get served once seated. It took an hour and a half for us to get our food after being seated. Not to mention the 2 hour wait to get a table. The food was just okay.
The cake was flavourful, and not just sweet. The flavours were actually in depth and it was good. The service was friendly and welcoming. Even though it was good, the portion is just too for me. After eating half the cake, I was already filled up and somewhat lost appetite even though I really enjoyed the first half.
This place has witnessed a number of birthdays and anniversaries. Food is always great that often we try to recreate it at home and portions are on the huge side. The ambiance of the interiors is consistently eclectic as any of its branch which often creates an wow impression. Service is always friendly and courteous. This is a cheesecake, tasty dishes and great family dining haven.
Brunch
The wait was really long but we walked the mall to kill the time. Service was exceptional! We had the carne asada steak and the New York steak. Cheesecake for dessert of course! The key lime was killer...perfectly tart and light. The Carmel pecan turtle cheesecake was decent, rich and so big! Such a good experience!
Had an amazing experience on Thursday afternoon!! I love that you can ask for a table and they will text you to come back when your table is ready so there’s no waiting in lines! Shopped until it was ready came back and were seated right away!! Our servers were friendly, outgoing, professional and courteous! All the things I’m looking for when I’m out for a nice meal! We ordered the asian lettuce wraps which are my ultimate go to and shared the Reese cheesecake which was so incredibly amazing! We also ordered a few additional pieces of cheesecake to go for our supper later in the evening! You won’t be disappointed! I wish I had enough time to speak to a manager to compliment them on how well run the place is with the amount of People they’re serving!!! It’s always busy because it’s that good!! You’ll definitely see me again Cheesecake Factory!!

Food portions are big, except the New York steak which was small though. Taste of the foods are good. I agree with other customers regarding wait times. Despite being there early and seated early, it took almost half an hour or more for appetizers to arrive and another 30-45 minutes for the main courses we ordered. Dessert was another waiting game too. I can clearly see other customers from a different table being confused as well on why food takes too long to be served, especially if it's a salad entrees. ????♀️
Great that they are open for indoor dining, not that great waiting at every point .... To get inside - wait 30 min, to get the menu - wait another 10 min, the order was taken just in time, then wait for 40 min for the order, eat, wait for 20 for the cheque, and....wait to pay.....

One of My friend was late and 3 of us was waiting outside the Resturant for 15-20 min they wouldn’t let us seat inside and order food until my friend who was a late come in. It’s so frustrating you Waite out side of the Resturant for 20 min and they wouldn’t let you sit inside just becomes one person is late.

Service
Perfect place for a date. Worth waiting to get a table for the food you get over there. Amazing variety of drinks. We had avocado egg rolls which was so flavorful. Fourcheese pasta was very well balanced in taste. Cheesecakes are out of the world. We had very cherry Ghirardelli chocolate cheesecake which was so good so does the original cheesecake.
Charming and full of life. Just a lot of my favorite items were out of stock the day I visited. Hope they fix it soon. My waiter was. lost souls had to wait endlessly for drink refills and she never bothered to stop by to ask.
This was our first time at the Cheesecake Factory. The lasagna Verde was so salty that I could barely finish half of it. The highlight of the meal was probably the brown bread and butter, which was quite good. The cheesecakes were decent, and portions are enough for sharing between friends. I am kind of disappointed because two of our top picks were not sold at the time when we went (lemon meringue and the tuxedo cream). Overall it was a mediocre experience.
The Good: I ordered Shrimp & Chicken Gumbo which was really good. My daughter loved her mini corn dogs, and both my kids really enjoyed the fries (they're usually very particular with French fries). The Bad: Waited 3 hrs to get seated. My husband ordered the Chicken Fettuccine which was very soupy as you'll see in the picture. We mentioned it to our server but all she said was 'aw...' then walked away. (Other restaurants we'd visited would have offered another dish or not charge us at all for it.) The Ugly: Got billed for 2 extra cheesecakes ($12.49 each + taxes & tips) that I didn't notice until we got home since I felt rushed while checking the receipt as they were closing and the server was standing by our table with the debit machine waiting for the payment. This was not our first visit, and we enjoyed our previous visits in the past. But after this experience my family said it wasn't worth the wait, and would not want to eat here again.
It’s the Cheesecake Factory. It may not be everyone’s version of great food, but the Yorkdale location does a great job. Service was impeccably fast, bread and drinks came quickly. The spinach dip was a good portion and as I remember in the US chains. All the mains were wonderful with the expected large portions. Good experience all around!
Came to the restaurant with a party of ten. They only delivered two meals, every 5-10 minutes. Slow makes it sound like they are super fast. Other visitors who arrived and order after us, have finished their meal before ours even arrived. I love cheesecake, but don't expect to be back ever again.
Service
I've always enjoyed the great food and friendly service. Haven't had a bad dish, appetizer, or dessert at The Factory! The interior is warm and sophisticated yet casual. The patio is very comfortable and elegant. The only issue we've had the last couple of times is that the fries are cold, and by the time they get replaced the main dish gets cold while waiting for the fries. The waiting staff don't go out of their way to compensate you. Other than that it's a great place for dining, and of course for cheesecake!
They have amazing cheese cake. It’s worth the price. We had the red velvet cheese cake. It was really soft and very tasty. Melts in your mouth. I would definitely recommend this place.
