I wanted to organize a business meeting which was very important for me. I searched for best options. Lara’s restaurant offered cheap catering in Toronto. They offer the best Appetizers recipes in Toronto and Dessert Recipes Toronto. For every event I organize, Lara Catering in Toronto is who I hire.

Hate to write a bad review for a business. And this is solely based on my first experience. I ordered falafel platter, portions look big when they arrived. Once I started eating the food was overly salty and deep fried...i asked my server to please take my food away cause I didn't like it and gave her my reasoning. Asked for the bill and they charged me for the food I barely even touched. I said, so you guys are going to charge me for the food even tho I didn't touch it? She said yes. I paid for it, no problem It was 10 bucks so big deal. But my experience with this restaurant and food, and the service is bad enough for me not come here again. There's a lot of other better places to eat than this in the same price range with better customer service all over North York.

Gordan Ramsay the commercial renowned cook should visit this restaraunt. He would either improve it to a better quality and standard or close it down. The chicken and meet kebab were dry as if it was left overs from previous days and just heated up. The only credit should be given to the barman who was a real gentleman. At the end of the day it was not a good experience. The birthday party was fabulous but the main course was a disaster.

We had a baptism party couple days ago, the staff was great, helpful, understanding, on-time. The owners were so cooperative planning the details, our guests loved the place and they will consider it for their events. The management allowed us to setup the sweet table one day before which made everything smooth. The food was fresh, tasty and authentic. Went for my Daughter's Baptism reception had about 20 people plus my 14 month old. I wish I could do 4.5 stars. Amazing food, great service when we were the only ones there. As another big group came in, we kinda got forgotten, I had to ask the servers to offer coffee and it took forever to it to get it served. They did a great job of packaging up the leftovers though as we had lots ????????????.

Food was ok. Not sure if the fact that I attended a private event that the service was mostly putting food and removing the plates. We had to clear things to put the new Meza plates ourselves or put things on top of each other even though the Meza plates were still full. I think the waiters should come and clear and prepare the table for new or hot Meza before just coming to table carrying the new plates and thus not being able to find a place to put it. Maybe getting smaller plates but deeper to have same quantity served and thus clearing more space on the table. Had to go 3 times to the drink bar to get napkins ( paper towel) since you only see the waiters when they are bringing food and removing the old finished dishes. Maybe it is different when you are there just having regular lunch or dinner.

I really liked the chicken kabob. The house salad dressing was not enjoyable but I'd go back again. The decor feels awkward and incomplete, like it was thrown together without any plan.

The owner operator has gotten snottier and more stuck up with every passing year. Prices have gone up. Food quality is decent at best nothing special. They are using cheapest quality red turnips(PINK)..the olives are ultra salty which they need to change and the pickles are so so and also very salty..these little things make a difference. They should be buying using the premium commercial mixed pickles from Turkey..Not the garbage arabic middle eastern ones. night and day flavour and quality! The place doesnt have a very exciting ambience unless its a banquet event or something..

This place was a bit of a hit and a miss. I was here twice in a week and the first time I had the Chicken Shish Tawouk and I was blown away by the quality. But the second time I had a Chicken Kabob sandwich and I was not impressed. The chicken was a bit burnt and the sandwich had no flavour. I was disappointed the 2nd time because I had expected the same quality as the first time. Perhaps they were really busy as it was a Friday lunch when we came here the 2nd time. I will try it again sometime soon for better comparison.

We had our staff Christmas lunch here. Service was okay considering the need to meet the Christmas rush. The food was good. I only learned that they serve their fish meal with whole fish, head on????. I would have enjoyed the fish more if it was better seasoned?? Server Dean was exceptional in his attention to details when working with the customers. His hospitality was genuine and felt by many if not all he encountered. An overall good first visit inspite of the whole fish experience ????????.

Went here for a friend’s wedding and was surprised with how beautiful the interior is. I should’ve taken photos of the food but we had diff kinds of humus, pita, falafel, beef and chicken kabobs, etc. I’m used to wedding venues not having the best food but the food here tasted great! It's a Mediterranean restaurant with excellent food and even better customer service. Would give them 11/10!!! If visiting you should try their beef tenderloin kebobs. They were done just right! And extremely yummy. Our server was friendly and went over and above making several trips to get our order sorted. The chef accommodated my colleagues request for a vegetarian meal which made her extremely happy. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the other patrons were courteous. They have a great menu selection with several mouthwatering options. Overall a great experience!

I went for a friends engagment party. The food was great very tasty stuff, the service was great too. We had the entire place booked so I hope that's the case on a regular day. I'd recommend it if you'd like a taste of middle eastern food.

Worst restaurant ever I've never seen!! Well First of all, very poor customer service. No smile was presented towards the guest, which is very important! Very rude owner! Secondly, i have ordered mixed grill plate, the chicken was soggy dry, tenderloin brochettes burned rubber, the kebab was piece of plastic! Finally, I had very bad experience, after first couple bites, my whole gums were in pain for the last 24 hours! In conclusion, i will never be back or think about this restaurant! And i dont recommend anyone to visit them!

Excellent Armenian, Lebanese, and middle eastern food. Everything is great, but my favourites are the soujouk, kebbeh, labneh, tabouleh, fatoush salad, and garlic puree (not sure what it's called). My favourite entree is the beef tenderloin dinner - the beef is just amazingly tender and flavourful. Portions are HUGE. You will very likely take home leftovers. The staff is friendly and will explain anything you don't understand. The restaurant is spacious and can feel even larger when sparsely populated, but it is comfortable and not imposing. Great place for larger groups and big family gatherings. They are good with kids and don't mind at all if your children like to "wander" during meals.

The owner/Manager who's name is D****n is VERY VERY VERY RUDE person and maybe the rudest person I have ever met!! ... just show him some money, he doesn't care about customer value, etiquette. What kind of restaurant are you running here? 1st on the weekends you offer breakfast that we can’t even order on skip or Uber until 1 pm, then when we see on skip that you are open when I order you don’t confirm the order. 2nd your only open from Thursday to Sunday from certain times? Like really? Why open at all? Not only this really makes you look bad but you just lost a customer. This is not Lebanon when you can be open when ever you want. At a time like this you should be open 6 days a week to break even, I will NEVER recommend your restaurant to anyone ever again.

We ordered Chicken Shish Tawouk and beef tenderloin with rice and house salad. Frankly we didn’t like the taste, chicken was too dry and too salty, beef was better than chicken. Rice was quite plain and thick, just dressed with few almonds. The place was big and cozy, but food was disappointing.

This place doesnt even deserve 1 star, disgusting food. We ordered chicken shish tawouk which was so bland and dry, and lara's chicken sandwhich which was beyond disgusting. No flavour, no taste. Somehow managed to gulp it down with ketchup.

July 2021 - Went again after a full year. Amazing as usual. Had the fattoush salad with beef tenderloin. Excellent dressing, pita bits and tender beef chunks. July 2020 - Delicious, large portioned food and excellent service. I'll be back again.

We recently hosted my baby shower here for ~90 guests and I'm so glad we chose Lara's! It was beautiful and only needed minimal decoration from our end. The food was delicious - generous portions that were refilled promptly when guests asked. The service was amazing on the day of - the staff were accommodating and kind. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you Lara's for such a memorable day!

Very disappointed in my last visit. My friend ordered appetizers and I ordered a main. Hers came way before mine. They then brought the wrong order and took over ten minutes to find out what I actually had ordered. So my food arrived about half an hour after my friend's. Then the bill was wrong - twice! The worst thing is that the management made no effort to apologize or make a gesture to make up for all the problems -

Food wasn't terrible, though disappointing customer service. I'm not one to complain about poor customer service usually, though this time is an exception. I was seated by a table of what seemed like the owners, who were given all the attention in the world, while the rest of the tables (about three others including me) were paid no mind. Eventually I managed to get my order in and the food arrived faster than my order was taken (which was not fast at all). Throughout the course of the quick dinner I thought I would be having, there were no servers present the entire time after my food was served. No refills, no attention to the rest of the diners. The server would pop back sometimes to attend to the owners table and promptly disappear afterwards. Sometimes I'd see a little boy carrying an iPad run back to the bar to pour himself a Coke, then go off to what seemed like the kitchen. Unprofessional. I had to wait for 20 minutes for my table to be cleared after finishing my meal, and another 30 to catch the server so I could pay my bill, to which I was told that I had to wait, because another table was ahead of me, and to go back to my seat... I could have just gotten up and left at this point, but I patiently waited for another 10 minutes for the server to finally bring the machine to me so I could at least pay the restaurant. 0% tip, which was a first for me. Terribly dissapointing.
