I really enjoyed the green Thai curry that I ordered as they were kind enough to switch out the meats and offer tofu as a replacement. I wished they added more vegetables to go with the meal though as it was a little lacking. Nice people!

Got takeout via Uber Eats. The 33 Pad See Ew and SP3 Khao Pad Sapparod were especially good. Would have liked some veggies in the chicken red curry but the flavour was great. Overall, really delicious, and happy to support a small local place. (Also, for those reviewers saying this isn't authentic, it's run by a Thai family who goes home for visits whenever they can, so don't be rude!)

This is a hidden gem in North Vancouver . It is a ver cozy place, delicious and exotic menu, a lot of variety and very affordable , Appy gave us a remarkable and outstanding service always with a lovely smile and nice attitude, fast and accurate. We were two people and we had 5 dishes plus a bottle of delicious house wine and ice cream. Very affordable and nice ambience. Hardly can wait to go back. The place is worthy on any occasion. Visited again on Sept 1st , 2019 and the same success!!! All dishes were remarkable delicious

This is one of our most frequented restaurants in the north shore. Their food is always on point and their curries are one the best I’ve had in Vancouver. We also like how they have parking in the back as it’s pretty hard to find parking on lonsdale. Their staff is always friendly and nice. We’ve brought friends and family here and they all love it.

I eat here for lunch every so often and it's one of my favourite places in North Van. That being said, I've noticed lately that the quality has gone a little down hill - but it's still delicious for Canadianized Thai food. Definitely recommend the swimming rama and the pad thai!

If you say you love this restaurant you’ve clearly never eaten decent to good Thai food. The food here is as good as a four year old squeezing expired sauce over overcooked noodles and garnishing with frozen shrimp. Anyone can do better with what they have laying around in their fridge at home.

I love this place! I have ordered lunch from here for over 10 years. I haven't ever had a problem. The food is very flavorful and made fresh to order. Staff are always polite and friendly. A previous review said the sauce was "milky", well of course it is...it has coconut milk ! Its good tasting food if you know what you are ordering. Will keep ordering as long as they are around.

Their seasonal yellow pumpkin curry is one of the best thai curries I've had. I wish they had it as a regular menu item. I've tried their regular menu curries and they're all great! The staff are very kind and prepare orders in a timely manner.

We ordered a few of the lunch specials and they were so good. It was a perfect size for lunch and it was made in under 15 min from ordering. The only thing was the crispy wontons do not stay crispy packed with the main dish, but they were still good. (As of Nov 2021 take-out only) I will go back for sure.

This was BY FAR the most tasteless Thai food I've ever had, and I'm speaking for myself and the friend I was with. My friend ordered Pad Thai, and I Kang Pa-Nang curry. The Pad Thai was missing some ingredients stated in the menu, to include bean sprouts, turnips, and eggs. The shrimp wasn't fresh, and the tofu was small and sparse. the Kang Pa-Nang curry was thin and milky and lacked substance and flavor. Our Gai Satay appetizer also lacked flavor and was tough.

NOT good, three of us got the same food, one was super super spicy and my wife couldn’t eat it at all, the other two were ok BUT 30 minutes after we left there we got stomach upset very badly and now after 10 hours still HURTS. Tofu’s on foods served fried which was weird and not good in taste Be careful guys we thought reviews are based on honesty

It was suggested that we try Krua after we complained to a friend that another, local (chain) was over priced and not worry the dollar. We finally decided to try them out a couple nights ago. We got the yellow curry and Pad Thai. They were both good portions (the Pad Thai was leaning toward "generous portion") and very delicious. We also got the chicken satay and you get six, delicious showed with it. When we ordered, they were honest about it taking 45 minutes (it was Friday at 5:30) which we appreciated AND they were perfectly on time. When we arrived to pick up our order the debit machine was wiped clean (sadly this is completely necessary now) and the staff (likely owners) were very friendly (which can be difficult behind masks) and appreciative. The first of many visits. Thank you for being here ????

Very disappointing. We ordered 3 separate dishes, and all three were significantly underwhelming. The larger portion sizes we had read about were non-existent. And the dishes were all significantly lacking flavour. Only the Pad Thai had any impact, but the chicken was flavourless. It is unfortunate as we had high hopes for this place. The reviews are quite skewed, maybe due to the lack of Thai restaurants in the area. Some of the more recent reviews comment on how this establishment has gone down hill in the last year. Would not recommend.

Got number 32, tasted like soy sauce and salt. Got dinner special #5, at first it smelled nice but had no taste, like literally NO taste. Slowly it began to taste like some sort of hand lotion you would get at a hospital. Never again. If i could rate it in the negatives i would. Worst Thai food i have ever had.

Our go-to place for Thai food on the Northshore.. Their Tom Yum soup is very authentic and perfectly spiced so you get classic Thai sweet, sour, spicy mix. It’s local small mom and pop shop that really delivers on taste and quality..so give it try..

I ordered PAD KRA-PAO, they normally only make spicy dishes in a spicy ranking of 1 to 3 chillies (i ordered 5 chillies). It was delicious, however i think they are serving a slightly western version of thai food. I say this because although my food was spicy, it was not as spicy as i would expect when asking for 5 chillies, and i had to add fish sauce to make the dish taste more authentic. My 2 complaints may be considered as compliments by most westerners as you may not like extremely spicy and may not like a strong fish sauce flavour. I must state for the record... it was still delicious!

Very very average thai. Had the potato and chicken curry and asked for loads of veggies. There was a couple of half cooked pieces of potato, slices of carrot and some cauliflower. Chicken had lots of nasty gristle bits. Flavour was bland and required me to add salt and lime just to eat it. Go get pho on 12th!

We happened to come across this place while hunting for dinner and we were not disappointed at all. Ordered Kra-paw-chicken and Pad Thai noodles. Both the dishes were very delicious. We were happily surprised by the very authentic taste. If you are fans of Thai food....or just good food, do go here!

I have been eating at Krua Thai for years (10+) and it has often been a great place to take relatives when in town. I would usually rate it 4/5. However, I was there again 3 weeks ago and unfortunately I felt it just wasn't up to par. The quality seemed to have lapsed. I hope this was just a one - off situation .

This restaurant is fantastic! I have tried a number of dishes from pad Thai to the curries and they were all really well made. The prices are very reasonable too for how much food you get. I highly recommend the green curry and cashew chicken with veggies.

Love this restaurant. It’s near my work so I come here often. They have great lunch deals for just 10.25 like shown on the picture. These are just couple of what I normally order. One of them is my favorite “Green Curry Eggplant with Chicken” plate comes with salad, crispy wontons and rice. 2nd photo is “Pad Thai with shrimp. Highly recommended.

Ordered the vegetable pad thai and green chicken curry. The pad thai noodles were hard and undercooked, not a very tasty dish. However, their green curry sauce tasted good, but only came with 4 pieces of eggplant and a small basil leaf. I wish there were some more veggies. Service was great, but I won't be coming back for their pad thai or green curry.

Nice Venue, good service and delicious dishes. On the occasion I was there I ordered a red curry dish that was on special and added prawns. Was surprised at the generous serving of prawns in the dish. An updated menu with tofu added to the menu for a protein option would be good as they do have tofu available.

Very disappointed with the pad thai ???? I had high expectations because of the reviews. Flavour was just mediocre however it was very inconsistent through out. Some bites were so bland while others were too salty. Shrimp was boiled and was not stir fried with the noodles - they had no taste at all.

I had had the most amazing day and was settling in for a romantic evening with some fine wine and good company. TO say my night went down hill would be an undetstatment. I have no idea what was in those plastic containers but im pretty sure it was from another planet and not yet vetted for humans consumption. Ok experience. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Food is averagely priced, portions are on the bigger side. The food is a little on the bland side and lacking rich flavor. Can get busy during dinner rush so expect slower service at those times. The small location, busy times and all can be forgiven if the food is fantastic which is not. Its ok for thai food.

Great food. I love their lunch specials. For the price of fast food you can get a quality flavourful Thai Lunch. We used to live very close to the restaurant and we loved going there every week. Now we live farther but still find our way their at least once a month. Well worth it if you like Thai.
