All items are fingerlicking good. When trying Shole Zard and Halva, get ready for the taste of sweet heavon. The joujeh is juicy. Ghormeh Sabzi and Gheimeh are rich. Zereshk Polo is mouthwatering. Great little takeout for kebabs and other Persian dishes. Our khoobideh was beautifully seasoned and portion was large enough to feed two! Brisk and friendly service. Some confusion in the lineup outside as to who was lining up and who was picking up, but it was a friendly crowd. Some street parking up front and on the side streets in the neighbourhood. Highly recommend!

Tonight was my first time buying food from Grab and Go and I'm sure I'll go back again! The food was delicious, ghormeh sabzi and gheimeh was very tasty and fresh! Their koobideh and vaziri was good too, could be a bit more tender. Staff are friendly and polite, they offer free tea while you are waiting.The restaurant looks clean and nice. That is all we needed; great food, perfect amount, decent price! Thank you guys and way to go!! ???????????? After 5 months the quality of food is the same! I'm writing this today July /12, 2020! Thanks again guys! Mach /16 /2021 For the first time tried sabzipolo mahi from Grab and go and it was good, but personally I like my rice with less oil.

Not entirely sure what the hype is about. Tried it because of the long line ups. Ordered two $12 sets thinking it would be a good test for what their "average" food is like. The chicken was dry. Lamb was a little better, but nothing to rave about. Meals consist of a lot of rice and some meat. Perhaps it was all the highly rated reviews that placed my expectations to high. Wouldn't say it was terrible, but won't be going again.

So we go, my wife and I. We are working our way up Lonsdale’s restaurants. So the place is hopping. Take out orders flying out the door. We waited and our order is earlier than promised. Woohoo! Wait! These bags are heavy, man there is tons of food here. We get home to eat and crack open the containers. Omg omg omg. Crunchy rice! I haven’t had proper crunchy rice for decades. Wow, what a wonderful surprise. Food was great. Tons of saffron rice. The kubedeh is a better deal, way more meat. But… the chicken is fantastic too. What a find. We have tried other places but the menu here is very diverse. Lots of options and prices are reasonable too. Great service.

I had found this gem by reading the other google reviews of Persian restaurants in my neighbourhood. Boy am I ever glad I did. The food is DELICIOUS. Most of the main meals are $10 an item. The meats are fresh and the portions plentiful. My kids adore the ground beef kebob and my chicken (boneless) was moist and tender. The tomatoes are cooked to perfection and the rice flavourful. My husband tried the fish..it had been recommended to me by another customer...and he was beyond delighted!! The staff is kind, generous and so very friendly!! I have been twice now and feel that this will be a staple for us in the future. As they are full "take out" hence the name, they have very sturdy containers which I like..and they are all recyclable. All meals also come with portions of bread and onion...which truly might be my favourite thing to eat. Thank you Grab & Go. You are my family's new FAVE!!

We had high hopes for this place. The price seems fair and the venue is nice and clean. We heard good things about then from our friends.Hopefully they can take some positive critisism and do better than this. We ordered the Vaziri (koobideh and chicken kabob) and lamb kabob. We asked for no rice and bread and no extra oil. We have been to pretty much all persian restaurants in Vancouver. The food was horrible. I am not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. Chicken kabob: has a vanilla smell or some sort of fragnance, maybe artificial saffron? Bland and tasted worse than raw chicken. Koobideh: possibly a little hit better than the other two dishes but still tasted like tenderizer (baking soda) and not like beef. Very small skewer. The lamb kabob tasted good on the first bite but after it sinks in, you realize that it has so much tenderizer in it too, tastes so bland artificial. I like the idea, but the cook is absolutely horrible.

By far the lowest quality Persian food on the north shore. Very small location and cheap meats/rice. I suggest trying any of the other Persian spots on lonsdale, you may pay a dollar less here but you get half the quality. Meat was super dry and rice was stale. Will not return.

Good value. Recommended by my work colleague. The food is more bbq than spiced. Tried the chicken, beef and lamb shank. All good choices. But beware, call your order in, in advance. I think standard wait times are 20 -30 mins but we went on a Saturday early evening (5:10pm) and waited curbside for almost 50 mins. Lots of people arrived for pickup, leaving with multiple orders and big trays, while we waited. Items in the refrigerated cases are grab and go. Salads, dips, sauces and dessert.

I have been to a lot of Persian restaurants, and while the food in most of those is pretty good, none of them are as consistently great as Grab & Go. This little restaurant is a little gem in North Vancouver. It offers amazing food, amazing portion sizes and honestly the friendliest employees. As someone who has grown up on Persian food and has tried pretty much all the Persian restaurants in Metro Vancouver , I was really excited to try this place. We ordered Koobideh, a staple of Persian food, as inside the facility smelled delicious like kebabs. However, the meat was soggy and distinct in texture/taste (nothing like Koobideh). The rice was terrible quality. The saffron was completely diluted and mixed with food coloring. The food tasted so terrible that I threw up within half an hour of having a few bites. They are false advertising through their network saying their food is amazing (we heard from a Persian contractor of ours about this place). However, they did not deliver. We will not be back. Persians do care about the price but they also care about the quality. The quality here is terrible. They have cut every corner. Even the bread and onions and condiments that they package is terrible!

I have lived in Vancouver for the past 20 years and I explore every different types of foods. And this restaurant is a MUST GO if you are in Vancouver. If you are in downtown, it's a hope on the sea bus and hop on the bus "Lonsdale". The food is amazing, quality and quantity is perfect as you will have left overs. I have recently moved to Victoria, and there is no place like this here, but I really don't mine taking the ferry and giving them a visit. See you when I come and visit Vancouver. Food is good (quality + portions)... but the staff is rude and disorganized. I ordered with my partner and they asked me to leave (“1 person from one household only”). Okay, fair enough. Except right after us, another couple walks in. Orders in full. Not asked to leave. When our order was ready, I asked why she asked one of us to leave (but the other couple got to stay and order together). She said, with full confidence and a huge attitude, that we were “4 people”, not “2”. .....nope. We were 2 people. Is it really about the health guidelines or a power trip? Stay consistent! Another time, we were told 20-30 mins. Took over 45 mins to have the food ready. This time, they mentioned that they had one big order and it put the rest on hold. I think as they’ve gotten popular, they seem to have been getting more disorganized. This impacts the entire experience. When you order food, you also expect to pick it up on time. It’s important they think about ways to improve customer experience. Yes, you’re a restaurant that only does pick up, but you still need to improve the experience. Their kitchen is always so crowded, why not have someone outside to accommodate orders? And leave the indoor to only picking up? Anyways, that’s just a recommendation. But I hope that this place focuses on improving the customer’s experience. Quality food is not enough to get 5 stars. It’s a hassle each time we pick up.

Grab&Go is a very convenient place for some very tasty Persian dishes. Located on Lonsdale Ave in North Vancouver, it is order and take out only! There is absolutely NO sitting. Best is look up their menu on-line and order ahead. Pricing is very reasonable and in line with other Persian eateries in the area. I highly recommend their Kabobs, and you can expect the portions to be quite generous. They accept cash, debit and credit cards. The staff are quite courteous and the place looks tidy and clean. A good place to know. Noosh-e Jaan (bon Appétit).

Decided to give this place a try after a recommendation from someone.... unfortunately, I was not impressed. We ordered 1 Mahi. We waited literally 30mins to receive our order, it wasn't very busy. People who came after us got their order first. A lady who ordered after us noticed she received her order before us and told us that shouldn't be the case and that I should go in and ask them what's going on. It was as if they didn't have the fish in stock and had to go to the market to buy one...but even if that were the case, they should have told me and I would have been lenient. When I received my order I asked why it took so long to complete the order and all they said was "sorry about that". Very disappointing..

The food is great, the only problem is the wait line is not organized. The people who are waiting for pick up and the people who are ordering are all mixed. I ordered on phone, I went there, my order number was called, and the people who ordered after me and the people who wanted to order, all wanted to get in before me. Every time I go there I become angry, especially some aggressive and intimidating customers. Today a biker asserted himeself before me even when I stood right by the door, he cut the line anyway without asking because he is bigger. Very disappointed.

This is a takeout location. But still, their customer service is fantastic! On top of that, the food comes in a great portion size, with an admirable quality, all for $10 or $15 a meal. They said my food would be 10 minutes, but I waited for 45 minutes and they never called my number. I was waiting outside and would've been able to hear it if they actually called it. They claimed to have called it, but the speaker is so loud that there's no way I would miss it. I got a refund but no food, so I have no idea how the food is here. They claimed that I was supposed to go in to check for my order and blamed me for their poor service, but the sign outside clearly says to wait outside until they call the number. I should've just gone inside earlier, but I assumed they would be calling my order number, plus the store was constantly crowded inside despite COVID. At least they refunded my money without any problem, but it was a huge waste of 45 minutes. I went to Yaas instead and got my food in under 10 minutes. Edit: the reply claims they called my number multiple times. If this is true, they definitely didn't use the machine that calls out the names loudly. They used that machine only about 3 or 4 times while I was waiting and none of the numbers were mine. I refuse to believe I missed that machine calling my number while I was standing beside my car right outside. I have often heard it clearly and loudly from a block up Lonsdale despite loud traffic.

The service was the SLOWEST I've ever seen in my life. Before coming, I checked the good ratings and wanted to give it a shot. I wish I had ordered it before coming, because they made me wait +30 minutes and did not even tell me how long it was going to take.The name of the restaurant is "Grab and Go" which makes you think that they offer fast service, and that's the reason why I'm surprised that they take their sweet time to prepare your food. Over 10 customers (I assume they ordered by phone) picked their stuff, and the staff kept ignoring me. As someone who has worked in restaurants before, you ALWAYS have to inform the customer if it's going to take a while to serve them. After more than 30 minutes of waiting, they finally decided to give me the food, but I was already super annoyed and really wanted the food to worth the wait. However, the food was at most average, the rice was tasteless and the chicken (jujeh) was really bad. I don't know how they cook their chicken but there's something wrong with it because I had a very bad time after eating it. My stomach hurt a lot and I sweared that I would never come back to this restaurant. I wish I could give them 0/5, but 1 is the lowest so that's what I am giving. Terrible service and below average food. Not recommended!

Great food and great service. The food is really delicious and not fatty like other places. The staff are really nice and very helpful ad always making sure you get served well. The only thing I would suggest is to make the humus more salty and make it like middle eastern style which prepared with these some big machine that makes it more soft and can add some other spices and more lemon juice but not sure if that what you have is the default humus recipe and taste since I got same humus taste and type in other Persian restaurants . also, it would be cool if you add falafel dish. Thanks for the good food and service.

You guys are doing a fantastic job! previous post from oct 2020: this has got to be one of the best, if not THE best Iranian food joints on the lonsdale strip! I had the bone in Vaziri and, so Delicious! The rice was so fresh, like just made fresh and HUGE portions. It's a must visit.

As I was on a call with grab and go, I ordered a couple of things. They started checking the order out 4 and even 5 times, so i was expecting them to be responsible and give out the right order, but they didn't. I headed to the store to get my order and as I was driving home I found out that the store put in the wrong order. The staff is very rude and instead of apologizing for their mistakes, they make excuses. The way they speak on the phone is not really efficient. They speak with a bad attitude and they expect us to give them a good tip. I will give the customer service a zero for not being able to care about the people's needs.

Customer service at the Lanzdell branch is really awful. You have to procrastinate for a long time and the staff is not responsible at all. You really feel chaotic. I can't believe this is the place where we always received food with speed and quality. The staff is very rude and deliberately lingers in front of the customer for a long time. They are talking and joking all the time. Food stays on the front desk for a long time, and people in front of the shop delay packing and deliver cold food. The situation is very sad since the management is not present in this branch.

Very authentic Persian takeout foods restaurant. The prices are average, very good quality food, and the portions were BIG. You get what you pay for. People were very kind and nice. I went here 3 times. The first time was excellent, the second time was really bad. I only went back a third time bc I felt like maybe they had an off day. The third time was horrible, kabob was so hard and dry. The rice was undercooked.

Good quality and good portion size for the price.???? My only suggestion is to add more butter and sumac to each serving; that amount of rice and kebob needs more of those. The service is also more organized than a year ago which is a great improvement. Good job folks????

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Employees are being too friendly with the person at the cashier that they totally forget about the other people in the line. Please just respect people’s time. Food is great though.

Quality is not as good as it used to be. Kabobs are undercooked! Stews are frozen and warmed in the microwave before serving. Staff are rude and customer service is very bad. Used to go there very often last year but will never go there after many recent bad experiences.

Great food, service and amazing smell of real saffron on the rice. Always order from Grab and go for our parties and gatherings and they never disappoint us with their amazing food and service. Definitely recommend Grab and Go.

When a person tells you the best place to get their culture's food, you listen. My Persian friend was raving about this place and brought me a kebab and zeitoun. It blew my mind how good it was. Amazingly marinated beef, cooked to perfection and served on fluffy saffron scented rice. Incredible stuff, highly recommended.

The food quality is so bad, Today I ordered 3 stews, noticed they took them from freezer and put them in the microwave, Although I saw it they refused to accept and lied to my face, at the end They took them out of microwave. Staff was rude and told me if you want fresh food you should cook for yourself at home. I’ll never go there anymore.

Very good quality. Price is right. Portion is big enough for two to eat. All cooking area is visible by costumer, therefore one can see the hygiene and clean kitchen. All good. Wish these young people the best.

Great staff and even greater food, don't let the price fool you, the food here is much better than other Persian restaurants who charge you double the price for the same food but with a lower quality. I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely try it
