We had an amazing experience at the Station tap house tonight. Cole our server was one of the best if not the best we have ever had. We drove from Orillia Dan stopped in North Bay for dinner. Food was fantastic, atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We will be making the stop on a regular basis going forward. Treat yourself to a great experience!!

It was ok. Long wait time for meal, sons drink had flat pop in it. clams we ok but a couple not cooked properly. Service was great and attentive think they where just to busy for the staff they had in the kitchen that day.

The place is beautifulIy designed. The service was ok. I didn't like the fact that our server didn't tell me that my soft drink that I asked for doesn't come in fountain which mean there is no refill. Also I asked to substitute my fries to sweet potatoes fries but she forgot to mention that there is an extra charge for it. It's not the price it's the principal, if I want something tell me everything and let me decide if I want to go ahead or not. I had the veggy tacos and my husband had the burger. I loved my option but my hubby didn't like his at all. He said it was very dry and tasteless.

Pricier than what I was looking for, but I'll still give it 5 stars. Despite the hockey game on big screens it was quiet, even though there was no shortage of customers. No blaring music, free WiFi, and a good fish and chips. Kim, the waitress, was pleasant and helpful. Not much else need for a weary traveler.

Had an issue once and it was resolved with the BEST customer service and the manager Cole went above and beyond to make it right. If I could give six stars, I would. Started off well, my partner and I had the French onion soup and our server was really attentive. Then we ordered the bison burger and were really disappointed. The burgers were completely flavorless, overcooked with no condiments on one side, and nothing had been salted so every ingredient was indistinguishable from each other. A shame, because bison is a great game meat and not difficult to make tasty. We didn't eat most of our meals, explained to our server who was sympathetic but brought us the full bill and ultimately that was the end of it. Bill came to about $70 for two meals, two drinks and an appetizer. This place gets good reviews (why we came) and service was good, so maybe this was a one-off, but really don't include something on your menu (esp. a main dish) if it's not on par with the rest of your food.

I was excited to try the food here, but on Saturday I was disappointed with the food/service. Many things wanted or ordered by guests were not available.. food and drink. my steak was burnt on the edges which gave the whole thing a burnt taste.. not to mention nothing was seasoned from the meat to the veggies. I had wanted the russet potatoes but got a over cooked baked potato instead... After all of that... to continue on, I also ordered sautéed mushrooms and never received them, and when I mentioned it when we were paying for the meal.. instead of an apology the waiter said “I noticed you never got them and hoped you wouldn’t notice either” umm yeah, thanks. My husbands hamburger was also bland and over cooked. Just a terrible thanksgiving dinner will little care from our server. Prob won’t be back after spending 100$ for this kind of service.

Honestly one of the best meals we've enjoyed in North Bay. Phenomenal service, modern atmosphere, and tremendously unique dishes. The bruschetta was the best I've ever had with a thicker vinegrette that was to die for. We had the Station Burger and Turkey Burger - the meat was tender and they give a generous amount of toppings. We ended up taking half home. Will definitely be back!

Went in at 9pm on Thursday for a late dinner. Left at 11:30pm, received casual, friendly service as you would expect in a Northern town. Must try the deep fried cheese curds with au jus as dipping sauce; fantastic! Excellent organic, Ontario-raised striploin cooked as requested. First choice wine wasn't available, but plenty of other good options by the glass. Decent beer selection. Nice atmosphere, above-average prices but worth it. Will definitely return.

probably won't be back. when the highlight of the meal was the appetizer, there's something wrong. I had a steak. very nice cut of meat, but bland. very, very bland. the vegetables were luke warm at best, grossly overcooked....soggy, limp and lifeless and also quite bland. definitely not worth the $40 for that meal. my wife had the bruschetta as an appetizer and it was a bit of a disaster. just tomato cut into slices on bread, with huge lumps of cheese on it and the sauce drizzled very lightly on top. not appealing or appetizing at all. our friend had a pasta dish, and the sauce that should've been creamy was the consistency of milk. don't get a Guinness. the bartender doesn't pour it properly, and went snowflake when he poured it wrong both times. just...yeah. so, overall a very disappointing experience. most likely won't be back. our server was amazing though. she was always pleasant, polite. just very nice to deal with.

To give this restaurant even a single star is unfair due to our experience. The staff did not acknowledge our presence from the start and rushed past my family without any greetings or apologies whatsoever. Once we stopped a server to ask to be seated, we were denied service as we were told “they were too full for the night”. This seemed odd since empty tables were in our view. Once we had left, we called in to see if they were actually full. To our surprise, the waitress said they had a table available and could seat us within 10 minutes. It is unfortunate for the restaurant and is their loss as it was my parent’s anniversary and we had hoped to celebrate the occasion. We ended up going to East Side Mario’s where we were greeted with a smile and quickly seated. We had a wonderful experience there instead! In addition, it is important to note that we experienced racism at this restaurant and therefore will never be attending again whatsoever.

What a shot hole! Waitress brought our food to the wrong table 3 times and after a customer at the other table touched my wife's food they still served it to her!!! The bison burger tasted like the meat was rotten, the bacon on the shrimp was undercooked. It is one of the worst restaurants i have ever eaten at.

A group of 3 ladies walked into the restaurant & seated ourselves. No one asked for our proof of vaccine...we waited over 15 minutes and not one person on staff acknowledged we were there. We got up and walked out! Terrible customer service and Covid practices. Will definitely NOT be returning.

The service was excellent! Thank you Kim!! The menu had som great healthy options, including a steak raised without hormones or antibiotics. Something for everyone on this menu. They were able to accommodate my partner who is sensitive to dairy, gluten and pork. Substitutions were easily made. I had the 10 oz Striploin without antibiotics. DELICIOUS! Only negative was that the steak and baked potato were "warm" and the vegetables were actually "cold". They fixed it and took 30% off!! No hassles. Would definitely go back!

This is the place to have lunch in North Bay. Very busy but the staff are highly professional and trained to ensure your experience is excellent. The decor is urban and stylish. The menu is extensive with numerous vegetarian and gluten free options. The food is made with exclusively fresh produce and the portion sizes are highly substantive. The price is disproportionately low. Great ambiance, great service, great food… not sure why you would go elsewhere.

Not a great experience for our first time at the Station. Server was excellent but the kitchen let her down. Long wait for food that sat in the window obviously. Steak was overcooked, tough, and cold, risotto was cold. She offered to have it reheated but after the long wait and fact we were heading to a show we were not interested in waiting around. Flavours and presentation otherwise pretty good so hopefully this was an exception. We have other places to try so it is not looking good fit a return.

What a gem for North Bay!! 2 level restaurant that's very modern and upscale. The main floor has a pub feel while the second level is quieter with booths. We were travelling through North Bay and a local friend suggested stopping here. Station did not disappoint! The server was friendly and helpful, the food was served promptly, it looked awesome, and tasted amazing. I also enjoyed that they had a limited release Muskoka Brewery on tap that I would not have been able to try otherwise. Great place that I would happily stop at again.

A good adress!! The grilled steak salad and portobello mushroom was tasty and healthy :) The recipes are homemade with fresh, good quality ingredients and that's what makes you want to go back. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service really good and the prices fair. We were there with our 6 month old baby and the restaurant offers a changing table and high chairs. The staff cares about customer satisfaction and that makes the difference. We will going back! :)

What an amazing experience. Great food, great service, and the price is good for fine dining. Frankie, our waitress, knew the menu amazingly right to the very spots on the wine menu and what goes best with what entreé. Was a fabulous dinner from appetizer to desert with a very modern style dining room with room to move in such a small environment. Worth checking out!

Awesome menu selection. We sampled 4 appetizers and 4 different main courses. We could not decide on a favorite, they were all so good. Service was great, relatively small setting, the place was quite busy but we were able to have a carrying on a normal conversation at our table. Just wasted 20 minutes looking for the 6th star and couldn't find it so I have settled for 5. Crunchy Cauliflower drizzled in deliciousness, wow, my new favourite appetizer! Had a delicious sangria and my wife had the strawberry mojito. Both drinks were good, but I recommend the sangria if you visit on a summer day like we did. Our burgers were much yum and I accompanied mine with a Gateway City Brew Co. 11.17. The country salad and frites were absolutement parfait. Our server was Corey and he was new to the restaurant, but really personable, friendly and provided great service which shows he was clearly well trained and experienced. Price is always very reasonable here for the vast majority of the menu. I recommend reservations if you are booking during covid restrictions as it was fairly busy both inside and outside. I don't recommend this restaurant for a young family or children. Bon Appetite!

Just had a late lunch at this restaurant. What a fantastic experience. Our waiter Cole, was so friendly. I had the breaded haddock and my husband had the bison burger. Both very delicious. The potato breading on my fish was super thin, and crispy. My husband enjoyed his burger, and was stuffed. If your visiting North Bay, this place is definitely worth eating at, you won't be disappointed.

Just had an exceptionally good take out meal on our 13th anniversary from you folks, my husband was so super happy with his burger, stating that it's the best he's had in forever! Our meal was warm, even though I was tardy in picking it up, packaged appropriately to ensure that nothing got soggy, and the warm stuff stayed warm, cold stayed cold. I wish I could say that this place was amazing... But it fell short of my expectations. Service was great. Now, when it comes go food... Maybe it is me being spoiled by the variety of choices in Toronto, but the food was "ok". Kimchi dumplings were good.. The potato wedges have been re-eafmed a few times, I'm pretty sure . The bread was at least a day old. I won't be dining in this restaurant again.

Awful. We made a dinner reservation for 6 and our table wasn't ready when we got there at 6. Other cranky customers got preference when we requested the booth table multiple times and much before the other customers were there. The waiters had no idea how to help us so we stood around for 20 minutes before leaving when they finally told us we weren't getting a comfortable table. Didn't even get to eat there and it was a huge disappointment.

We were there celebrating a birthday and we asked if we could bring our own cake and we were allowed, due to covid they were unable to put it in cold storage but that was okay with us. This was my first time going to The Station. I lived close to it last year and could always smell the delicious food being prepared. Although this establishment is on the higher price range, the experience and food is well worth the cost. This particular visit was for a staff related event. The dining experience was superb. The server was knowledgable with the drinks available on tap, providing not only the names but a description of the taste and appropriate food parings. His energy and attention to our group was highly appreciated and he truly made it a pleasant experience. The food was exquisite. As the group ordered a variety of items off the menu, there was not one dish that was turned back. My personal favorite is the bruschetta bread was delectable, and by far one of the best bruschetta made in the North Bay area. I ordered the Crispy Skin Chicken Ballentine which was a rich and satisfying dish. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience.

Beef stroganoff isn't typically seen on restaurant menus so when I saw it here, I had to try it. It was very tasty and a generous portion. My daughter had the flat iron steak with garlic mashed potatoes. Her steak was cooked perfectly. We shared sticky toffee pudding for dessert, which was outstanding! The 14oz ribeye seemed smaller than 14oz, it also arrived in a different shape than traditional. Despite the smaller size, it was perfectly cooked, rich and buttery like a ribeye, and rubbed with a delicious seasoning. It was served on a bed of crisp green beans, grilled red peppers and plain steamed broccoloni, and a side of potato wedges sprinkled with salt and oregano. It was outstanding and excellent value for money. My dining mates had the crispy chicken skin Ballentine, the bison burger and the steak portabello salad. All were great, with probably the chicken as the highlight. Lots of craft beer on tap including local northern breweries. Great food, great atmosphere and service.

I'm not sure what to say. I kind of expected better considering the price. We can with two guest from out of town and we all really know our steaks and foods. The escargot was really good but then the steak arrived and well, it was ok. Something I could have easily cooked myself. The garlic bread was more of a highlight of the meal than was the steak to put things into perspective.

My husband and I were in NB for the wknd and found this place on line. Yes it is pricey however u get what u pay for. We had the Rockefeller scallop for our appy and it was delicious and light which was nice usually most restaurants hide these delicious flavours with cheese or a cream sauce. We both ordered the ribeye steak and it just melted in our mouths. I like mine very rare and normally even at steak houses have to send it back because it is over cooked. Not this time it was perfect. If we come back to NB again, we will for sure be returning here. The staff was very friendly and weren't always bothering u which was really nice.

Great place to go with coworkers, food is on the pricey side, they don't do fries included so need to pay extra for those. However, service is prompt, they take precautions during covid and the food for what it is is delicious. I had a burger while I was there and outside of the bison burger the chef can cook it however you like within reason. Juicy, full of flavour. Recommend, if you start wanting extra the price will go up, but it's delicious food overall and there's nothing to complain about that

Overall a very good restaurant. My favourite part of the menu is the appetizers, all the ones I have tried are excellent. I would definitely recommend the deep fried cheese curds and the steak crostinis. I haven't actually ordered a steak here but I have had most of their pasta dishes and they are all excellent. The butter chicken is my only complaint; it was still pretty good but seemed to lack the creaminess you get from most butter chickens. They also have a good selection of craft beers on tap, including some local varieties from Gateway brewery.

The staff, service, and atmosphere were great. I could tell the food was high quality, but it was lacking in flavour. I had a steak, and again, it was a quality cut, and cooked to perfection, but it lacked flavour. My previous experience was quite similar. I had a burger and it was obviously a quality burger, made with fresh ingredients, but it too, lacked flavour. Just a little more salt and pepper and I'm sure that both the burger and steak would have taken me to flavour town. Overall, both experiences were great and I reckon I'll be back to try it again.

Over the past few months I've been in contact with the wonderful staff here. We made arrangements to have our reception dinner at the Tap House. Very accommodating and a great price. They even gave us use of the space to have our ceremony! I cannot thank you guys enough for everything you did for Andrea and I. Tim and Erin, the servers knocked it out of the park! So glad we chose your location for our event!

OK. To start with the restaurant was very nicely decorated, clean, friendly staff, great food. I had the Station dog, it is a bacon wrapped giant hot dog, very good. I asked for crispy fries, spot on. Great selection of local beers. The down side, a 6'' long hair I pulled out of my mouth after eating a fry half way though the basket of fries. Nat did say she would tell the manager. They did discount our meal. The manager never showed. If I lived in North Bay I'd try it again.

Went there for lunch today, and I was sorry that we waited this long to try it! We both had burgers (different ones), and shared a "bowl" of sweet potato fries. The burgers were so tasty, and large (best burger around by far), and when our server (Ken) said bowl of fries.....we weren't expecting the LARGE portion. This place offers a great value for a wonderful meal. We can't wait to go back once the lockdown is over!

What a fantastic hidden gem. Loved to see the owner working with staff, and even serving food and beverages. Our server had excellent knowledge and a great understanding of their menu, and was able to make wonderful suggestions. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area. Went here for a business dinner and enjoyed the food. I got the lamb chops and they were perfect. Hard for me to complain when I didn't t have to foot the bill, but the food and service were great. We were in the upstairs area, but the whole place looked like a good time for everyone.

Way overpriced !!! Food was horrible. The steak was tough and bland. Reminded me of french steak from the grocery store. Waitress was drunk the whole experience was like walking into the twilight zone. We all go to new places when we are on vacation this was a bad choice. I say definitely avoid this place.

Good service, ordered sirloin crostini and turkey burger. The crostini was a large plate, really tasty sauce and the meat very tender. Turkey was browned evenly yet quite moist. Overall I enjoyed my meal, though I had a bite of my wife's station burger and thought the patty was a bit drier than our previous visit.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went here for dinner and was ignored by staff for 15 minutes before deciding to leave. During that 15 minutes I made eye contact with 2 waitresses and the bartender. Horrible customer service!!

This is equivalent to The Keg. Fancy upstairs seating and downstairs is more lounge/bar vibes. Do best of both worlds. Depends on what the date is. Haha. Food is delicious and I personally am okay with the price. You pay for what you want. I no longer live in the Bay, but when I visit, I make sure I stop here. :)

Freshest food I have ever had in North Bay. I have an IBD and needed my food cooked a certain way and reduced spices and they respected me and I had the best fresh tuna and veggies I've ever had. Thank you for the peace of mind and such a delicious meal. I can't eat out just anywhere and I am so thankful for the good food and peaceful atmosphere at the station.

The food looks great! But it only looks great. The place is very busy, so reservations at least three days in advance is recommended. Service is excellent, and the people who work there are polite to each other. Most of the beer in the menu were out, which is odd, considering how it's a Tap House but the taps were dry. We sat indoors, accompanied by buzzing flies, gazing at cobwebs in the windows and wondering if the flies were too big for the spiders to consume. That thought occupied me the bulk of the time. That's how delicious the food was. To be fair, we only had the steak, so other items might taste fantastic. We will never know, because we won't be returning.

I expected a heftier cost with 2 margaritas but was pleasantly surprised the cheque was very reasonable. We left very satisfied!

Ordered delivery takeout. We got three station burgers and fries that were on special for $10 each on a Saturday! Everything arrived on time and the food was warm. Nothing was soggy, didn't even seem like it was takeout. Really awesome burgers and fries just like we were in the restaurant. Second time I've ordered these burgers takeout, and they were just as good the first time. Nice job guys!

Kim the bartender is awesome and the owner, Chris is very welcoming and a great host. Kenny is agreat guy despite his fondness of the Red Sox. The Guinness is always ice cold - keep it up! Lots of tvs and the food is consistently good. The escargots bordelaise is brilliant and you would be hard pressed to find a better burger anywhere.

This place does not look like much from the outside, but I don't prescribe to judging the book by the cover. So I open the door and Bam! This place is sexy. I was greeted @ the bar by a very polite and beer savvy bartender who gave me the rundown of the joint. I started with a delicious and Local Gateway Pilsner. I paired that with the focaccia. Then I finished things off with Canvas kolsch, accompanied by the Duck Tacos. Food was great but not as great as the service. As always, dont forget to tip your waitstaff. Cheers!

My mom and I stopped in for an appetizer on a rainy Canada day. When we left, her car wouldn't start. Being from out of town, we settled back into the restaurant to wait for my husband to come from 2 hours away to get us. Every single one of the staff were friendly, accommodating and welcoming. The food and drinks were also wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is my new go to spot in North Bay!

Was working out of North Bay for a few days. Let's see where to start ... service was excellent. Food timing was perfect we had apps to start had the steak (rib eye) ???????? cooked perfectly the sides were great. Actually came back there 2 times after had the burger and the chicken amazing. The menu size is perfect has a option for everyone and everything on that menu they execute to perfection. I tip my hat to the kitchen staff and also the service staff. Definitely will go back ..

The food and atmosphere are incredible. Their menu indicates what can be done gluten free, but if you ask the wait staff, there might be some other things too. The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for a nice date. The burgers are affordable and different (15-20$ range with best options), and the steaks get pricey. The desserts were mind blowing too. I highly recommend!
