Food was good. I liked the soup and the basil noodles!!! But the service was not great. Get the menu after sitting down for 15 minutes and 30 minutes to taste a simple appetizer, then another 25 minutes to get the main dish. They seem to focus too much on Skip the dish.

I always enjoy the flavours at my Thai Palace! The chicken sautees with peanut sauce are always cooked perfectly! The spring rolls and salad rolls are both delicious starters. And if you like spice the Tom Yum soup is fantastic! My two go to choices for dinner are the Curry Pad Thai and the Basil Noodles with Beef. The service is friendly, and always nice and quick!

UPDATE: sadly this place has been slipping over the last little while and isn't the great spot it used to be. Food & service are not what they used to be and prices have gone up. I'd still go here for Thai but it has lost some of its earlier greatness. My original review is below. Great spot for lunch, dinner, or that special night out. Very genuine atmosphere and food, takes me back to when I worked in Thailand. My favourite dish is their Peanut Curry but haven't tried a bad dish yet.

I always enjoy the lunch special. 1 (delicious) spring roll, soup (rotating), and main (rotating). Today was curry chicken pad thai. I’ve also had the hot and sour soup with pineapple chicken red curry. Delightful!!

Our first stop in North Bay was this delightful Thai restaurant. The lunch was perfect in terms of its portion size, serving timeliness, and just as importantly, the intense flavour coming from each of our dishes. The spicy beef, basil beef noodles and curry chicken really hit the spot. The hot and air sour soup was amazing and the spicy touch was a hit. The staff was friendly and attentive. Totally recommend this establishment!

I have celiac disease. Made this very clear to the person who took my order. Was still served gluten. Received a call to notify me of their life altering mistake. They refused to refund my order. If you have any food allergies or sensitivities stay away they cannot be trusted to take food safety seriously. They also refused to refund the order that will make me ill for weeks. First of all excellent service that everyone expects, then comes to food, those who are tired of eating fast foods and nonsense must try here to get authentic food taste. Lemongrass soup as starter will give you sweet, sour and spicy blast, shrimp rolls good enough to say yummy. Since, I can’t eat meat except Halal meat, had to order veggie Pad Thai, wasn’t too bad. Asparagus with shrimp ???? with sticky rice ware awesome. Must try.

I love My Thai for lunch as it's located just a short walk from my office. They have amazing lunch specials which all come with soup and a spring roll. I love the Chicken satay with peanut sauce and mango salad. The Pad Thai is delicious as well. The spring rolls are perfection!

Some truly amazing dishes are served from this gem. Their Green Curry is sublime, nice heat with a good balance of veggies and meat. Their soups are tremendous but my favourite by far has to be the Coconut it's perfection. Pretty much everything they produce is brilliant. I will absolutely keep coming back and have others try them as well.

So this is my second time trying 'My Thai Palace', I figure I would give it a second chance...my girlfriend had never tried it so we decided to go for it...we ordered the Chicken Satay which was mediocre & no flavour...she ordered the Vegetarian Pad Thai & I had the Pad Thai w/tiger shrimp & vegetables...neither of us like it & were quite disgusted with our meals considering it was a $60 meal...my shrimp still had it's shell on & my vegetables tasted raw...her meal shortly after she ate was having bad stomach pains...I.would never ever recommend this place to anyone, horrible food...I hope who ever reads this, take my advice & do not order from this place

One of my favorite restaurants in Sudbury, has a North Bay location, and is just a delicious. Absolute favorite dishes are their spring rolls, Pad See Ew and their vegetable's and rice. Always a warm, welcoming environment. The decor is always delightful to look at. The atmosphere is quiet and calming. Never disappointed with my food or service.

I was travelling through North Bay, when I found this restaurant. The flavours of the pad thai, the green curry were on point. You can taste the freshness of the food. Not only is the portion generous, they put a good amount of meat (chicken). It just brought back to the food I ate in Bangkok. I'm just sad I didn't get to try more dishes. I would totally recommend!

My friend and I ordered a noodle dish and a cirry. Food itself was very tasty but the noodle came as if it was left over from someone else’s dish. Horribly little amount and it was all cut off so shortly. I and my friend tried to send back to kitchen and it wasnt accepted. We ended up asking just more plain noodle to go with the dish ordered and they charged extra $ just for that.

Excellent Thai restaurant. They have a vegan and gf menu. The coconut soup is delicious and the vegan pad thai is okay. 2 little cubes of tofu is disappointing and the portion is smallish.. I love the sticky rice and the waitress is super friendly and attentive. Well priced and very clean.

Decent food but terrible policy from management. Ordered a soup that was awful and had a few bites and server took it away. Surprised to see it on our bill. Asked why we had to pay for food we didn’t like and didn’t eat. Said that was their policy. Brutal. Will never go back. $7 soup will cost them hundreds and hundreds in lost business.

The food! I took my daughters to My Thai Palace to judge the authenticity of the menu, because they've both been to Thailand. One of them had been the 12 times. They LOVED it! Service is great and the restaurant has a nice Zen vibe, but the food! Authentic, well prepared and plated beautifully. Can't say enough about this restaurant!

I am a huge fan of My Thai Palace! I have been since I first tried it years ago when I lived in North Bay. We live out of town in the Ottawa Valley and everytime we come back into the city. They have huge portions and they make the best left overs. The staff and owners are lovely people as well. They always recognize my husband and I even with the year gap between us coming up to North Bay due to COVID. Best Thai I have had also!

We give this restaurant 5 stars. This was our first time here to celebrate our birthday. We loved the decor and then enjoyed all the flavors of our meal. We started with the crab rangoon and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the seafood volcano and it was AH-MAZING and I will say the same about my pad thai with extra spice. Topped off with deep fried ice cream and we were in HEAVENNNNN! Great service and prices. We will be back again for sure!

I visited North Bay on business and found this restaurant just down the street from my hotel. I am so happy I stumbled upon it.... because the food was FANTASTIC! It was served hot, the shrimp were large and high quality, it was served with the most delicious hot sauce on the side and the portion was generous. The woman who served me my takeout was very kind and I received my food quickly. I don't often write online reviews, but this place deserves one. The only thing that's upsetting.... the fact that I live 3 hours away.

Very fast delivery of boring, greasy and overpriced food. So disappointing. We paid $43 for pad thai, soup, a cup of minute rice and 2 cans of soda. I have enjoyed alot of Thai food and none of the flavors were familiar. 4 big prawns in the pad thai and quite a bit of chicken in the soup was appreciated but the rest was so unappetizing that we did not finish the meal.

I've been to a few Thai places, but this is an amazing Thai place. I ordered the Pad Thai and they were flexible enough to switch the chicken with shrimp for my dietary preferences. I was able to try other dishes such as the fried rices. Very tasty and enjoyed the food. There are kind servers and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a very delighting experience and wonderful Thai food :)
