Good food and and friendly service. I ordered the ribs and wings combo, I was way too much for one person to handle. The wings were awesome and the ribs were good. Not enough BBQ sauce for my taste which was easily made to perfection. The beer comes in two sizes. The small one is really small; just a heads up :)

Went here for the first time a few months ago for Sunday brunch. It was pretty good. The even had my eggs benedict in the brunch! Lots of fruit and sides. They had someone making waffles! And they had roast beef and fixin's. Over all it was a great buffet brunch and would recommend it.

Went in with a party of six. Service was excellent! Food was amazing- everyone ordered something different and everyone was licking their bowls! Kid got colouring books and crayons. One mishap with the dinner and instead of comping making excuses, they remade the ENTIRE plate. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE!! Would go back again and again. Excellent family dinner :)

Got the Fisherman’s Platter. The scallops were huge, the shrimp were huge and both done in garlic butter. I’ve had a lot of seafood platters but this one is the best by far. I’ll come here again the next time I want seafood.

Double chicken should have 2 buns tho, just sayin ???????? 2 different gravy’s was real nice too. Coleslaw wasn’t to my liking, had a funny taste. Friendly staff. Great place to grab dinner.

If I could rate negative stars I would. We went here on April 1st 2108 around 1 pm. Whoever the hostess clearly she is a very ignorant person. We can here with my disabiled friend - he has a hard time walking. This lady sat us at the booth farthest from the front door and bathrooms, seriously nice job lady.... The meal was utterly disappointing. We all had a poutine, one chicken, one pork and one Italian. The gravy for the chicken and pork poutine obviously wasn't fresh. It was a reheated coagulated mess that wasn't even hot enough to melt those pretend cheese curds - those curds don't squeak!! Both the pork and 'rotisserie chicken' were sad little cubes of poorly seasoned, half rubber chunks of meat. Like why the cubes? Shredded meat makes more sense in a poutine, it makes better coverage on the fries and helps the cheese melt. The Italian poutine, that meat sauce was bland, lifeless and again lukewarm. It struggles to melt the shredded cheese... What's easier to melt then shredded cheese!!? We needed more napkins. Our waitress must of been overwhelmed with the half empty restaurant or something, so we got up and asked the first girl we saw for napkins and her response "if I can get to you". I've never been so insulted with the service from the hostess and seriously this is Canada respect the poutine, how can you mess it up!!!? Was this an April fools joke or something? Haha not funny! I'm literally insulted.

Been here several times since they opened. I figured it was growing pains for the most part. Turns out it's just bad. Tried a hamburger- frozen store-bought patty undercooked. Fries are frozen packaged and have an odd flavour. Clubhouse with fries $12.95 clubhouse without fries $12.95.

Fabulous.. really fabulous. Staff were so friendly. The inside of the old 5th wheel had been modernized and looks great! My son had the Napoli burger combo ( bacon cheese burger). It wasn't homemade but he said it was good and would get it again. I'll be honest... $16 is to much for that plate, and a home made burger is cheap, easy, and goes a long way to build a reputation. I had the quarter chicken breast with fries, gravy, and in-house chicken dip. Swiss chalet has lost this ladies business for good. The chicken was moist, bbq rub was very tasty, and that chicken dip was great. Almost tempted to drink it from the ramekin! We will be back every visit tyo north bay. Really great job guys (just some minor tweaking fire perfection!)

First time for me at the Beef n’ Brand. Not sure what I was expecting but I enjoyed brunch there. Clean, nicely decorated. Local photographer have blown up pictures on the wall which I love. Our waitress was super friendly and nice. The staff seemed mixed. Half were friendly and half were preoccupied. So I think if we had been a different table I might not have enjoyed the meal as much. My French toast was done nicely and the presentation was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. They seriously have some of the best home fries I’ve ever had. I asked for extra crispy with no onions and it was perfect. Will go there again for sure. The only thing that made give it 4 stars is the layout of the restaurant. It’s great but seems a bit off in the layout. You’re not sure which lane to take and the round tables in the lounge area are stagger in a way that you have to duck and weave to get to the bathroom. Other than that the washrooms were clean, the staff was nice, and the food was good. Decent parking too.

So first the good: The food was excellent. The mushroom caps were the best I've ever had. The chicken was excellent. I really enjoyed the Cesar salad. The food came blisteringly fast. My wife and I both commented on how fast we got our food and how good it was when it got to our table. The ambience is nice, and we noticed that there kids menu is very reasonable (though we didn't bring our kids). Now the bad: This was our first time here. The service was really below standard. Friday there is a Fish and Chips special. I'm telling you this because the waitress didn't tell us. It's not on the menu. It's also one of my favorite things to eat. I wasn't given the option. I wasn't sure what to drink, so she took my wife's order. That's cool. But she came back to the table with my wife's iced tea and didn't ask if I decided yet and tried to walk away. I had to flag her back to order my coffee. We got better service when our waitress went on break from the other waitress. The waitress didn't ask if we wanted the bill when my wife asked for a doggie bag and I was clearly done my food. We sat at the table for several minutes with the bill and had to walk up to the waitress stand to pay because nobody came back to collect our money. The prices are super reasonable on some dishes and way too expensive on others. They have a fruit cup on the desert menu. It's $6.50, the same as the cheesecake or honey cake. My wife didn't want to ever come back, but after talking to the other waitress for a few minutes, she said she would give the place another try because the food was so good. I hope that the service is better, because you don't get too many second chances. I would recommend the food, but not before warning you that the service is not consistent.

Didn't open until 1100. Disappointed there was no breakfast menu, just two specials. The Rye toast toast was excellent, hash browns were not. Very good bacon. They need to offer better tea. Mother Parker's? Seriously?! I should have opted for the coffee, which I know is great. The service was very good. The owner or manager replied to my original post. He or she noted that they open at 1100 due to COVID restrictions. I can certainly see that and applaud their compliance. I even noted that I loved their use of festive tinsel to block off booths for social distancing. They should take the the word "Breakfast" off their sign though, if they aren't going to do breakfast. I was there on a Saturday. I have enjoyed their Sunday brunch in the past, which is how I know about the coffee.

WOW. Where can you get beef brisket, eggs Benedict and spicy chicken and rice salad on one plate? Beef & Brand on a Sunday for brunch. My husband and I stopped in on our way from New Liskeard to Keswick. Super glad we did. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and the service was very responsive. Tip: don’t forget dessert. I had a warm waffle topped with maple syrup and whipped cream. Yum. I would recommend coming in here for brunch.

Service was good. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. But that’s all they had going for them. My husband ordered prime rib dinner, medium well. It was half fat, tasted greasy, and was rare, the potatoes tasted like they were done in the microwave, veggies were overcooked and watery. I ordered Chef’s salad and it was ok but the bottom was over half grated carrots. I followed it up with a poutine and was disappointed. Fries were precut frozen fries and were cold, gravy tasted almost sweet but was luke warm when i got it and cheese curds were also cold. Over all food was poor.

Beautifully renovated. Staff is friendly and the food is good. Large portions and at a decent price. Our food came very quickly. They have a large parking lot and there is a ramp at the back of the building . Only complaint is their hours it would be nice if they opened a little earlier for travelers and with the lounge if they stayed open a little later at night. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in for breakfast before Snowmobiling for the day and it was everything we needed it to be. The service was great. We had a classic bacon and eggs type breakfast and had not issues with it. I guess coffee could be a little better but it's your typical breakfast joint coffee.

Tried Beef n' Brand two separate times both times we had poor service all the employees seem cranky and there were two customers from separate tables that had complained while we were there. We waited way too long to order as well as recieve our food. The food quality was poor it was not fresh and was cold when it was served. I will not be trying it again.

First time I was here it was great but I just had breakfast with my family and it was awful. They gave a rotten formenting fruit bowl to my son we had to take it away from him. The fruit is on the counter warm. Small portions which was good because I couldn't even finish the little bit they gave me.

Been here twice and got the same thing both times. Although it was good both times, it was prepped different, looked different, and taste different each time. Will go back, its comfy, clean, friendly, and fair priced.

Had chicken fingers that were very dry and overçooked, poutine that was mediocre at best. Very little fries that weren't very good and lots of gravy. A very disappointing meal considering the reputation from the past that beef n brand had.

We normally enjoy Beef and Brand and are big supporters however our last eating experience was not great They ha e changed their menu and taken traditional items such as Salisbury Steak off the menu . Possibly not a good plan. People expect comfort food. Stay true to who you are.

Was ok... Not overly impressed. Pretty pricy for what you get. We went for breakfast homefries were not quite done and they had drizzled chocolate and fruit sauce on plate that did not mix well with potatoes placed on top. The French toast was ok but it was not real maple syrup which I would have preferred. And the $5 fruit cup was canned fruit that was pretty disappointing we couldn't even tell what some of the fruit actually was supposed to be.

My wife and I shared a lovely meal at the new BnB this evening and we were very impressed with the warm and comfortable surroundings. The food was very good, portions were large, prices were reasonable. This was our first foray to this restaurant and as folks who dine out often in the North Bay area, we will definitely be returning.

Delicious food, perfect portions with a great atmosphere. The service was wonderful, knowledgeable and not pushy. I had the Choppers Block Beef sandwich with au Jus and.. my god the flavoring! French fries were crispy without to much oil and hot out of the basket. My spouse had the Prime Rib burger with bacon his response was a joyful grunt of satisfaction. We will definitely be coming back.

I would really like to know why you can not order breakfast off the menu on Sundays. I realize you have a buffet but we are seniors and a buffet is just too much. We took 3 other guest that were having the buffet. Another thing I believe to be unreasonable is to charge for coffee with the price of the buffet it should be included.

8 stars especially for the full rack ribs and fisherman's platter! The best ribs since the rib house Logan's Roadhouse in Canton Michigan. The cook that did both our meals has skills on par in my opinion to Iron chef Bobby Flay. The chef was Ashley.

Ordered Chicken Fingers and Poutine. The food was excellent, crispy fries and the chicken fingers were not dry. The service was good also. The reason for 4 stars not 5 was two of the chairs at our table were sticky and the cheese cake we had for dessert tasted old. Would recommend this place good prices good portions.

Yesterday was my second visit since the reopening and I was really disappointed. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries with a side of gravy. Turns out I didn't need the gravy. I was lucky if there were 10 fries on the huge plate. My son had a clubhouse and his plate was full of fries. I would of said something but my son hates that and he would of left me there lol. Over all the restaurant is beautiful and the burger was amazing just not worth the price for what I got.

First visit. Got the open face hot hamburger with poutine. Overall: Solid comfort food. Large portions. Prices are reasonable/what you'd expect. Staff are friendly. Place is clean and comfortable. Good loyalty card available (free meal after x visits). The Food: Fries are pretty salty, but otherwise everything tasted pretty good. It's frozen/boxed food, but they do a very good job preparing it. I'm impressed that they were able to make frozen veggies taste that good. The burger patty was large and tasty. I left very full. I haven't tried the chicken but it smells amazing ; I'd try that next time. The cakes also looked really good. I will definitely return to explore the rest of the menu!
