Exceptional server service. The server actively ask us do we need a glass of water, extra plates, take-out box for leftovers and bill before we want to ask. We ordered a glass of lemonade, Caesar salad, ravioli and Alfredo pizza this evening. The food are nice as they do authentic Italian cuisine. Feel comfortable and delicious. Highly recommended.

The food is five star and so is the service. Docked one star for lack of accessibility. No door openers, tables are to close together for easily manoeuvring with a mobility device. Can't speak to the accessibility of the washrooms. The dropped curb is level with the electric vehicle charging station. If a vehicle is charging, a wheelchair user can't access the dropped curb. Fix those issues, then more people can enjoy the Zappis experience.

We talked about trying this place for years but never got around to it. Finally we made if out here. The staff were friendly and efficient. The pizza was amazing. The crust was thin and crisp and the toppings were fresh and plentiful.

Hello ! We choose to come to Niagara for the weekend. Zappi’s Pizza did not disappoint. I would give them ???? 100% , 5/5 just amazing service from Karen our server . The owner , believe he’s an older gentlemen was so nice and well mannered , he kindly told us to come in and asked us where we want to sit . They have an outside terrace which is cute and and inside area . We sat inside and loved the food! We got two pizzas , cheese and veggie , they were delicious. Good crust , not overly salty either . We also had the chicken fingers and fries , they were soft and fresh and plum sauce was awesome . We shared an Alfredo pasta it was awesome ! You must come eat here when I’m Niagara !!! Thank you Zaapis for making it a fabulous experience for us. Thank you !!

Everything about this location is top notch. But what takes this place to the top is by far the service. Our waiteress Megan was by far the best service we have ever had in any restaurant. She was extremely kind, attentive and helpful. Really brought our lunch to the next level. The outdoor patio was beautiful and the food was good and Great portion sizes for a Great price. Just from today this has become our go to restaurant and we will for sure be back here again next time we drive through Niagara Falls! Hope the service here never changes!

This place is delicious! Any time I get food from this place it always tastes fresh and delicious and it always comes hot. My last order was a small bruschetta pizza with chicken, the ravioli and the veggies and dip appetizer. The pizza was fantastic hot crisp crust and fresh toppings. The ravioli were huge and full of cheese. The pizza and pasta was perfect to split between my boyfriend and I. I love the veggies and dip because you get more than just carrots and celery you also get cucumbers and peppers and it makes for a very tasty snack afterwards

Enjoyed every bite at this restaurant, amazing food. Pastas and pizza were excellent. Tried Chicken Parmagiana, Gnocchi, White Greek pizza, Philly steak sub, chicken fajita calzone but the best was was Sundried Tomato Linguine Alfresco. Staff was very friendly, can't wait to visit again.

Had a great time at this restaurant. The servers are very friendly and welcoming, the food we ordered arrived in good time, and it's fairly priced. I ordered the garlic bread with cheese as well as a small bbq chicken pizza. The garlic bread was pretty good. The bbq chicken was VERY good. It had red onions, with chicken and bbq sauce. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the dough wasn't too tough or flimsy. Overall awesome pizza with great service!

I order 2 trays of pizza took home and open the first one l was really disappointed it was burnt ask to have lightly done and the second one was burnt around edges. Didn't have time to bring back had to got work. It said lightly done on the paper that the young girl put on the box her name l think was Julie. I was very upset cause it was for a birthday party. I usually get great pizza. Sorry to put this on the comments.l order it December 4

Five Star pizza, five star service! Lost a star for accessibility though. There is a narrow sidewalk with a curb cut. Unfortunately the curb cut lines up with the electric car charging station. When a car is charging, there no way for a wheelchair user to access the curb. The front entrance lacks door openers, and the space between tables is narrow... Even with my walker that folds up I had difficulty getting to our table. Can't say anything about the washroom accessibility. Fix up that accessibility and earn your fifth star!

Their dough is terrible it never rose and tasted with a lingering burnt taste The bottom of the pizza got burnt last time I am going there and I had to wait for 1/2 hour for burnt bread

We headed here for lunch while on vacation to see the falls because of a recommendation of one of my husband’s co-workers. Our server was kind but rushed. She didn’t seem very personable and forgot to bring the “free” bread until right before our meal was served ( guessing she only remembered because another table had come in and she was getting there’s). The food was just normal and nothing spectacular. I had a chicken pizza which was so cooked I couldn’t cut it with my fork. The others in my group said their food was ok. The sauce was nothing special and in fact it was sort of bland. It was a clean restaurant and had a family atmosphere but it wouldn’t be somewhere I would recommend visiting to anyone I know that would be traveling in the area.

Great homestyle pizzas. We also decided to try the eggplant lasagna and that was amazing (I consider it better than the pizza). The atmosphere was nice and the service was great.

We ordered a medium meatlovers pizza from Zappis along with a side of 1lb wings. The pizza was freshly made, succulent and aromatic. One of the best pizzas I've had. The ingredients tasted fantastic and it was made to perfection. The place also has a neat little arcade type console on which I really enjoyed some old fashioned combat games and space shooting games while I waited. The staff was super friendly and the interiors very tastefully furnished.

Our amazing hostess was kind enough to help us with some amazing vegetarian options. But hands-down, the over loaded nachos steals the show. Delicious food and polite staff. What else can you ask for.

I was pleasantly surprised with our experience here. The food was tasty and the service was very good. We especially liked the variety of the pizzas and the multiple options on the menu. I would definitely recommend this as a place for going to eat Italian food in the Niagara Falls area.

Pizza was as great as always! Wings were a bit dried out, but we ordered a side of fries as well, and we couldn’t eat them. Burnt old bowl fries. They were super dark in colour, and most of them had no potato left inside. Disappointing. Will make sure to ask for fresh ones next time.

Zappi's was a suggestion from one of the employees at our hotel. We were cordially greeted, quickly shown to our our table, and received fantastic service from Heather...ask for her!! Great personality and quite comical. We ordered lasagna, the meatlover's pizza, and for dessert....the Nutella pizza. YES! It will bless your soul!!! You know it's good when you are making plans to order more food later in the day before you even leave.

I have gone to this restaurant many times over the years when visiting Niagara.( Usually always have a great experience) I was very displeased with the food and service. When I spoke to the waitress she basically could care less. Not only did she seem like she had no idea how to be a witness but all the severs were so busy chatting n not working it seemed they had a room full of unhappy Customers. I was reading the below recent reviews and I can see I'm not the only one who is not happy. The food was barely at room temperature and the taste was very bland. By the looks of things here the leader of the restaurant is to busy responding to reviews with unprofessional comments rather than holding his team accountable. He needs to be the leader not the friend. The team will work harder for you if they are held accountable! If you want tasty food and good service you may want to stay away from this place. I hope In the future it will go back to the place it once was with good service and hot food.

On my arrival, I was greeted and seated outside. The staff are extremely well mannered and accommodating. Also, without hesitation a second round of drinks was brought out as I finished my iced tea. The pizza was delicious might I add... I highly reccomend this place to any people who love pizza, pasta, subs, or even for coffee and dessert.

(Zappi's, since 1971) _____________ About Nov 2019 Great! Really Good homemade Italian food. Prices have gone up but they have everywhere. Anyway, we come here once/twice a year. Food is always good, and always consistent. Staff is always nice. Wonderful fresh bread is served with every meal. Oh Yum! It's all good. You'll be happy you came. We've been coming here for years. The service was terrible!!! The tables were unclean, we had to ask for the waitress to clean the tables and seat. We waited 56 minutes, I had to approach the waitress and ask what the hold up was. All we order was a medium cheese pizza and when I asked what the hold up was, they responded with we have a large takeout order. No communication at all. At least let us know while we are waiting. Other people came after us and were served before us.

I really wanted to enjoy the food from Zappi's Italian eatery restaurant in Niagara Falls, but I just didn't... for the second time. The pizzas we ordered were bad and ok. My partner enjoyed his... to a degree, hense the 2 stars or it would have been a 1 star. He ordered the Canadian or something like that. Mine, a brushetta pizza with added chicken was undercooked and tasteless. I asked for well done chicken but got almost white chicken that tasted jelly-like. Also, for a brushetta style pizza, the crust should have been crispy but it wasn't. It was mushy, and the pizza was lacking the look, taste, and flavour usually found in a bruschetta. Where was the zing of balsamic vinegar or red wine vinegar drizzled with a dash of olive oil? Where was the FRESH basil, crushed black pepper, minced garlic, diced tomatoes (even mushrooms or cucumbers) and parmesian cheese? Instead what I got was long pieces of red onions (why?), a few diced tomatoes with tomato sauce, a little mozzarella? cheese and jelly-like undercooked chicken all on a soggy pizza crust topped with globs of dry basil? for an awfully expensive price. We will not eat here again. Zappi's, located beside the Rhodeway Inn, is casual, the interior is dark and there is an outdoor patio. Parking is free, but limited space. Wheelchair parking and restaurant wheelchair accessibility.

We were hungry and looking for a place to park, and found this little gem. We started with a vegetarian bruschetta., which was loaded and quite enjoyable. We then proceeded to the main course and ordered a veggie pizza and a Barbeque chicken pizza. Both pizzas were loaded and tasted pretty well. We were 4 people and had to pack up a few slices, so the meal was quite filling. A cooling lemonade for the summer was refreshing. No desserts here as we were already pretty stuffed.

Took 45 minutes to receive our food after we ordered. It was the same for other customers. Heard them complaining as well. The food however is excellent. We had pizzas and meatball subs. Great sauce. I’m hoping the delay in the food is due to a staff shortage and not a regular thing. I will consider going back as I have been going there for very many years.

Friends and I went to Niagara Comicon and wanted a quick bite after. The location is no more than a 3 minute walk from the convention centre. Food: We got a pasta and I got a sausage sub. Very tasty and reasonable prices. Service: our Waitress Meghan was terrific. Very attentive and quick to assist. The only problem was the rate that food came out. There were 5 adults and the first two dishes (sub and pasta). 12 mins later a pizza for two came out. 10 mins after that the last pasta. The server was very apologetic but my food was cold by the time we all started. Assuming that was a freak occurrence, it's a pretty solid place!

We have been here a couple of times now. We've tried different dishes each time and not a single thing has missed the mark. Tonight we brought our daughters for their first visit, and they give 100/10. Wonderful staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food. Will be back again soon!

Great location, staff were great, they were able to find us outdoor table for six even though it was busy. Prices are expensive, but it’s tourist location. Food and pizza was delicious. I thought the chicken Alfredo medium size was small, why I rated them 4 stars.

This little restaurant has some damn good pizza with an amazing crust. 100% would recommend the diavolo carne as it came with large thick sliced toppings and delicious sausage crumble. The hawaiian was okay, but nothing too special - probably would try something else next time.

Looked up best places to eat at Niagara Falls and saw Zappi's. We definitely wanted pizza so it was a no-brainer, we were trying this place! 5/5 family members, we all ate our hearts out, the food is so delicious. We got the Canadian tray pizza and medium wings, both were delicious. The dough of the pizza is really nice, my pregnant self is so happy. I highly recommend to those craving pizza to try Zappi's. ????

Interesting place, so many options especially for vegetarians. The portions were huge so I recommend sharing. The food was good, and the service was amazing. Our server was so sweet and she made sure we had everything we needed. It gets packed around dinner time but you sit down fairly quickly.

Not enough words to describe how much I loved Zappi's! From the looks to the smell and taste... Delicious pizza and spaghetti! The crust and the great ingredients combined in a perfect pizza! The tomato sauce was definitely another highlight that dressed very well the food served here. Zappi's staff was also outstanding, who not only are very nice people, but also keep the restaurant nice and cozy... If you're around Niagara, and enjoy good food, you should come to this place!

Really nice place within walking distance to the falls. They serve really great pizzas and pastas with equally good appetizers and desserts. The service is also good with friendly staff. They also have outdoor dining which would be a good option during warmer days.

We were craving pizza and looked up few places in the area. Based on the menu choices and the prices between 5-6 different pizza places we decided to try zappis. We were not disappointed and glad to have come here. Pizza was tasty. Crust was thin (so not too much dough to eat). We had Medium size = 22$ inc HST.

Hidden gem in Niagara Falls! Not too expensive and great atmosphere! The service was great although it was quite busy, we had to wait a bit for our food. The waitress gave us bread and butter to wait in the meantime. The cream of mushroom soup of the day was really good too! Great place to eat!

Ordered two pizzas, Green olive, green pepper, pepperoni and mushroom with double cheese was supposed to be on one but I think they got the pepperoni mixed up with image below. Sauce was not strong at all and actually a little mild and for double cheese you may expect to see cheese on the whole actual pizza. Pizza that was supposed to be bacon with double cheese though I've never had ???? look like pepperoni. Also glad we asked for double cheese but considering it a premium item and then not really, IMO, having much extra cheese was a bit disappointing. Crust was amazing. We will be back for sure

Found this place by accident after a few hours of being covered with ice shooting Niagara photos. Google highly recommended it, and I did not have to regret my choice. It is a warm place with a good selection of many types of pizza. I picked up the once called “California” with a few minor customizations, and I was not wrong about choosing. The cooking process and the pizza itself reminded me of a place in San Francisco called a16. It is a high-end Italian restaurant that bakes pizzas on a live fire. Not to offend the owners of that beautiful Italian delicatessen place, I can see some differences. However, in times of covid and the limitations we have, Zappi’s Pizza is a gem. Pizza is delicious, and the only disadvantage it has is that it disappears fast. I recommend the place. They follow all precautions for a safe restaurant pickup experience. I’m looking forward to coming back again for another bite.

We waited an hour to get our food it wasn't even that busy, and it wasn't worth the wait either. The hostess and the waitress was very friendly and nice.

Last night for dinner was our first time here. Michelle was our server, she was very nice and friendly. We ordered the sweet potato fries, make your own pizzas, Philly steak sandwich and a garden salad with grilled chicken. The children enjoyed making their own pizzas, the sweet potato fries, pizza & salad were absolutely delicious. The steak sandwiches are good but, a little bland. Not enough spices for a Philly steak sandwich however, it was filling and the sandwiches are loaded. The apple pie and ice cream are absolutely the best. We enjoyed our first time here. We will be back.

Good food, good service from friendly and efficient staff, and good relaxing ambiance. The white sangria was great as was the Greek salad. Pizza was good though crust a little on the thicker side. Ravioli was good and cooked just enough to be chewy. The bill was also quite reasonable. Very good experience overall.

Nice little place a block off the main strip. Prices reasonable and the food was very good. I would have given 5 stars but the pizza was just ok. Reminded me of frozen pizza but I saw them make it. I think the oregano they put on it made it remind me of frozen ellios. The sub was on a roll that was AMAZING. The calzone, and ravioli I was told was very good as well. Sodas or as they call it pop get one free refill, nice if you have kids. They also don't try and charge the entertainment tax. The waitress was very nice and friendly. We would definitely come back.

I loved this place so much! The food was great. It wasn't overrun with tourists, the staff was very friendly and funny. The reason for the three stars was the amount of nats and mosquitoes. I got bite twice while eating dinner. It pains me to say that because their food was AMAZING. I would recommend taking the food to go until they find a way to get the bugs out! (Yes, we were eating indoors). I got the gnocchi and it was cooked to perfection!

Absolutely loved this place. When in Niagara, I will definitely be going back here again. Only a small walk from the Hilton hotel. The staff was friendly, and the food was very delicious. I also really enjoyed the 50s music that was being played. It was a welcoming restaurant. Highly recommended.

Zappi’s didn’t quite hit the right spot for me. The food and atmosphere was decent, but the service was not what I expected. Our waitress took much longer than normal with getting our drinks, and at one point, she went to refill my drink and didn’t bring it back. The kids pizzas are quite awesome however, as they give the child the option to make their pizza at the table and then get it cooked in the oven. This is something that I haven’t seen at a restaurant before and I thought it was very cool. Our pizza was pretty good, the crust being the best part. Overall, I would say Zappi’s is decent, but I would have expected better.

We visited here twice while staying on vacation, and will probably visit again. Good Italian food for fair prices, and no tourist tax. Their Pizza is fantastic, with good seasonings and an amazing crust. Their subs were good, although a bit under seasoned. The sangria was tasty- not too sweet or spiced, and garnished with frozen berries. Compared to the double priced chain restaurants and tourist traps in the area, I highly recommend to try eating here instead.

Staff were friendly and accomidating. The restaurant is a little small but also busy. It was nice to see that they offered a gluten free pizza crust. The gluten free crust was a medium size only and was an additional 3 dollars. My pizza was delicious but expensive. One medium gluten free pizza with a water to drink was just over $27.

Local, affordable cozy restaurant with a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. There can be quite a wait, but at the end you realize how worth the wait was, because those italian amazingly flavored dishes are quite delicious. We were a group of 12 and we’ve only got 1 bottle of water at the tine, with a pretty long wait in between. :( The bathroom is all the way down the stairs in the basement, so not easily accessible. They do offer a few kids high chairs!

Decided to go and eat at this pizzeria after reading some reviews, seemed good, but once in the place and looking at the way they were starting the pizza I knew right away that this is more Americanized then a local pizzeria. After getting out pizza my first thought was, the dough already thin crust brought me to the conclusion that he missed making the dough as didn’t seem risen, then the ingredients of food on top was like if it was counted, so many mushrooms, and green peppers were cubed instead of sliced, the pepperoni tasted very American in all I was disappointed. Being Italian myself and growing up in the restaurant business maybe I expect more but when it comes to a local pizzeria it should of been better especially if the place has been there for so long, If you like hard crust pizza and little ingredients this is your place. Over all I would of enjoyed more a dominos pizza and this is saying how much I didn’t enjoy it

This is a truly amazing and authentic Pizza I've tried in my life! Located right in the heart of Niagara, next to the Falls it offers delicious food (not only pizza). The top choice of mine is a Chicken Alfredo pizza ???????? Would definitely recommend this place, as this is my to-go spot if I feel like Italian or pizza. P.s. 24 tray option also worth it ????????
