The secret garden was a secret suprise. Now the best part is getting a good table on the patio and just enjoy ur view of the falls . The food is good not super but definitely worth the price . If u like feeding sparrows then u will not be disappointed ????. Lots of sweet little birds around you . All in all a great way to spend time and enjoy a good meal . Our server was amazing . She gave us time to choose our orders and did not hurry us .

A great hidden treasure with great food and nice environment. It makes you feel relaxed and eager to recharge your energy to keep it up. It is very close to the Rainbow Bridge and the service is great. It was really fast and we liked it a lot. We saw it while riding the bus and we went back to chek it out and it was a great decision. They have an excellent view on the falls, but unfortunately the menu is not rich at all, very limited options and the food is not as good as you are seeing on the overall reviews. They can be one of the best restaurant in Niagara falls if they expand their menu and if they can enhance to food ingredients to have a better taste

Convenient location, nice views, but don't be fooled! We ordered three bowls of chicken noodle soup and one bowl of cream of mushroom soup that came straight out of a Campbell's soup can. They were served at room temperature and cost us $5.00 per bowl!!! The only reason I left a tip was for the benifit of the server, only because l'm a Canadian visiting the area after walking across the Rainbow bridge from the U.S.A.

Outdoor dining in August, had to compete with the hornets. We left in a hurry and took breakfast away. Price for a standard breakfast on the strip is far more expensive than you pay anywhere else. Beautiful view of the Falls area.

We went by foot from tower hotel. It was a 20 mins walk about. The reviews online were good so we decided to go. Staff was meh, and food wasnt exceptional. I had eggs with beacon and sausage. The sausages were more like meat balls, and tasted like someone dropped garlic seasoning in it. Didnt eat them as they were way too salty and garlicky, potatoes were ok. My bf had the omlet with vegetables, was very plane. The fruit bowls were canned fruit put in a plastic cup. Coffee wad horrible. It did have a nice view on the american falls.

We found the Secret Garden while staying at the Sheraton (summer 2021). It was a nice little walk from our hotel. The food was amazing. The service was good. We got some fancy drinks and just relaxed on the patio. It was slightly pricy but definitely worth every penny. My husband liked that they had gluten free options too.

Very cute spot! While you're walking along the tourist area near the border crossing / Hershey's Chocolate World, you will notice a garden and a super small diner looking spot with a neon sign-- as the name sounds, it's a secret staircase entrance to the full restaurant! We actually entered through the nearby garden, very clear signs of where to stand for waiting to dine and we were quickly greeted. Very old school patio dining; round white plastic tables with an umbrella and a condiment tray. Server was fantastic, an older gentleman with long hair, very quick! We had a great view of the American falls and the cliffs surrounding it, food was very mediocre diner quality, but hit the spot (we had a ham/cheese on a ciabatta bun and BLT on a croissant). The fries were very fresh and crispy! Between the service, price and view-- it was a fantastic experience! They also have a huge gift shop as is tradition in the Niagara area.

Terrible food and service. Had to get up to get our own condiments as the server didn’t come back to the table after the food was dropped. No one checked on us. Everything was greasy and over cooked. They won’t serve you a glass of water but will gladly charge you for a bottle, even when you ask for just a glass. Old uncomfortable chairs and tables.

My coworker and I had a small Colombian school group with me and we had dinner there. The staff there is really friendly and great to us. They ask us what we want to drink then take our food orders. I like the gift shop that's attached to the Secret Garden because the students can go look around and buy souvenirs while they're waiting for their food. It has a garden outside and is great for photo's.

Delightful experience here this morning! Lovely staff, delicious food and a great view. I ordered the western omelette and griddle cakes; everything was nice and hot and had good flavor. The breakfast potatoes were crispy, the griddle cakes were soft, and the veggies in my omelete were done perfectly.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the resturant. The quiet patio dining was enhanced by perfect weather and a FANTASTIC view of the American and Canadian ( horseshoe ) falls. The beer was cold and the food was very fresh and tasted great.

This okay restaurants. I suggest you go there before 8:00 pm. After 8:00 pm, there too many crowd and they service foods became weird. It's better nice and relax around 6:00 pm is less crowd. Here my opinion about their servire food menu: -Black Forest Ham and Cheddar Cheese is pretty bored and not special -Smoked Turkey Breast with lettuce and tomato: Not fan of Turkey but in sandwich is no-no. -Western - eggs, Black Forest ham, peppers and onions: Eggs mix with others?! It's so weird. -Bacon, lettuce, tomato: BLT sandwich is normal and good. -Tuna Salad is okay -Egg Salad: I really not like egg in salad. It's seem not right. -Hamburger is good -Turkey Burger: Turkey is bored and drying -Grilled Chicken Burger: Why would they put white meat chicken alike in their burger instead breaded chicken? Breaded Chicken should better choice. -Veggie Burger is fine -Double Burger is well double hamburger -Chicken Fingers is one best on the menu -Breaded Black Tiger Torpedo Shrimp is very good -Northern Style Quiche tasted weird. -Jumbo All Beef Hot Dog is good -Alaskan Pollock Fish & Chips is good too -Home style spicy Beef Chili: Sometime they bring it cold and not hot. However it's okay. -Traditional Canadian Grill - Lean Canadian Bacon, Farmer's Sausage, and grilled tomato, stir fry vegetables, and french fries: I think it's too much foods on a dishes. -Delicate breast of Chicken Parmesan with tangy tomato sauce on a bed of pasta served with vegetables: It's good but after ate it, my throat feel became odd. -Shrimp and Garlic with plum tomato sauce on a bed of pasta, served with stir fry vegetables: Everything is good but pasta is not cook right. -Penne Pasta with sliced chicken breast in a Rose sauce is fine -A generous portion of Spaghetti & Meatballs: Meatballs is good but pasta is not cook right. -Their beef is okay. Side choice; -French Fries is fine -Garden Salad: orange sauce is weird taste. The salad is good. -Soup: They have one kind of soup. It's okay. -Stir Fry Vegetables is good. -Poutine Fries is weird and disgusting because they put cheese mix with FF and brown sauce is terrible idea. Without cheese is should better choice. -Onion Rings is good -Caesar salad is good but too many Crouton -Greek salad is good

From what I've seen on movies and tv, it's really not as huge as I was expecting. Still a very pretty site and an absolute tourist trap with high priced food everywhere. Package deals seem to be the way to go if spending g a day here.

Service was very fast and friendly but the food was just OK. You are definitely paying for location. I’m not even a coffee drinker but I immediately asked my husband if he ordered tea when they brought it to the table because it looked so weak. $3.25 for the worst coffee he said he has ever had. The eggs were overcooked and the omelette had an entire slice of deli ham inside as if it belonged on a sandwich vs chopped ham like most omelettes normally have. The side of bacon ($5) was super greasy. The restaurant was very outdated on the inside and could use a remodeling. The garden and view is the only nice trait but i could get comparable breakfast at McDonald’s for much cheaper

Sadly, despite the beautiful setting, the food was terrible. We were a party of 4. We had pasta with meatballs, a chicken burger and nachos. The pasta noodles were overcooked, the 4 tiny processed meatballs were disgusting and definitely not fresh. The parmesan cheese was 100% imitation and closely resembled dander! The nachos were plentiful yet stale with toppings only on the top of the mountain. The chicken on the burger was sterile white in appearance and could have been used in a game of hockey! The bill...just under $100!!! The Secret garden should remain a secret!!

Absolutely loved the view and the restaurant. The restaurant is situated right in front of the falls. As for food we got appetizers as we had already eaten, their bruschetta was delicious.

Food was not great, especially for what our bill came too. We got ham and cheese sandwhiches, they came with litterally just sliced ham and cheese, no lettuce or tomato, had to ask for mayo for it so they gave me little packets... pretty disappointing. Got sat directly beside a large, loud family, who spent the majority of our lunch yelling, screaming, crying, feeding the birds, and running around our table. The drinks were good, the view was nice, and the server was nice, but I likely won't be going back.

Yikes. I would not personally recommend this place. I randomly sat down at this place with my family while we were on a tip. It had a nice view of the falls form outside. No one attended to us for a good while. When we finally got our menus, time passed and I had to ask someone when the waiter was coming to take our orders. I saw several waiters asking whose table we were and no one knew. It wasn't even busy AT ALL. Finally we ordered nachos and onion rings and some drinks. The nachos were 14 dollars and basically were a bag of chips with almost nothing on the top. The onion rings were good. I told someone at the front about my order and he did apologize and didnt charge me which was the best service I got there. I dont know who he is but he needs to train his chef and his other staff. Anyways I wouldnt recommend this place.

The food is good and the drinks list has lots of cocktails. Excellent location right in front of the beautiful Niagara Fall with parking just steps away. The gift shop is beautiful with wide range selections of quality and unique items from souvenirs, clothing to accessories. Very friendly and helpful staff! Restaurant with only patio dinning was allowed because of we were in Ontario Covid Reopening Stage one. Highly recommended!

Inside/outside seating and attached to a gift shop too. We happened upon this place at the recommendation of the guy sweeping the grounds around the restaurant. He told us this was a family owned business, and we like to support our fellow small business folks. It is a lovely place that feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy area. The outdoor shaded seating gives you a good partial view of the falls. This was nice! Here is where it fell short of our expectations. We walked up, we were promptly greeted and sat at an outdoor table which had an umbrella, nice breeze and pleasant views. (perfect) My wife and I sat there, enjoying the ambience with our two young sons.... it seemed to be taking awhile for someone to come take our drink order, but we were enjoying our vantage point, and we just kinda sat there anticipating that someone would eventually be over, no big deal.... A good 20 minutes passed by and my kids started getting a little restless. So, we looked around, watched other tables being sat and served.... hummm. Eventually, we stood up beside the table, waited for the kids to come back from using the restroom and decided that was plenty of time to wait for service. So, we politely pushed in our chairs, and exited right on out the same way we entered from a half hour prior. Don't let this review disappoint you. The place is situated nicely. We would have loved to try the food and drinks that the nice man sweeping the grounds recommended... but for us, it wasn't meant to be on this day. We know there are hundreds more guests that will fill our empty seats, but from a small business perspective, a potential $150 or so walked right out the door. AND when we politely mentioned the reason for our departure, the response was simply.... "sorry". The table to our left and the table to our right appeared to have excellent service... so... there's that. Maybe we just got lost in the mix.... Maybe we will try again... on our visit next year...

My wife and I stopped and sat on the Secret Garden's patio, because it does have a great location... Everything good ends there. On the way to our table the waitress literally took the drinks off empty tables and poured them into the plants. We ordered 2 beers and some poutine... It took 15 minutes to get our beers, then after waiting and asking "what was taking so long?" We got our poutine about 40 minutes later. The pouting was mediocre fries with cheap shredded cheese (NOT CHEESE CURDS, IN CANADA!) and cold gravy. It was awful! When the waitress could see we weren't happy with waiting 40 minutes for fries that were bad in every way - she never came back. It took another 20+ minutes for me to hunt her down and confront her to ask for the bill. She threw it at me and said "pay inside" as she walked away. I attempted to share my displeasure with the cashier and manager, both rolled their eyes as if "whatever, I hear this all day". We paid, left and had a great time everywhere else we went over the next few days. If you read reviews, please go anywhere else any direction around the Secret Garden and you will have better food, better service, and won't feel as if you've been taken advantage of. The Secret Garden is a tourist trap for suckers and the locals know it. Avoid this place!

Our family calls it Niagara Falls' best kept secret. I just went to their website for the first time and that is how they are advertising themselves, and it's so true! Like many on other review sites, we found it accidentally one morning while we were exploring the gardens. We had just had a VERY overpriced buffet breakfast at our hotel and planned to come back the next morning. From then on, it was a given that breakfasts when we visit NF would be at the Secret Garden. Great view, wonderful staff, excellent prices, particularly compared to other restaurants in NF. I can't comment on anything other than the breakfast menu. Nice variety, well-prepared food. And it wasn't crowded! (Good for us, maybe not for the restaurant...) I highly recommend this place for breakfast! FYI The Dutch review below translates (in Google translator) as "Here we have enjoyed one delicious lunch , especially the fried onions were delicious. Pleasant service and a beautiful view on the Falls". I think they starred it wrong!

Breakfast was okay. The sausages were undercooked and my eggs greasy . They charge for water which is ridiculous!

The NY steak was supposed to medium well which it did turn out to be but was kinda dry oppose to the juicy side. Overall just average food as my partner had Shrimp and Garlic with plum tomato sauce on a bed of pasta which was missing garlic for the most part and shrimp was poor quality

Don't get the grilled chicken burger, it was definitely microwaved. ???? Fries were good. Gift shop is plentiful and diverse.

Pretty nice place, great little koi pond hidden there, nice restaurant and gift shop there as well, had awesome view of the falls and one of the best seats to the fireworks from the bench we were sitting on. Nice little place to go for peace and quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls tourist area.

View is astounding. You can eat inside or outside but regardless of where you are you can still see niagara falls. Food was very delicious. I have to say that was the freshest Alaskan Pollack I have ever had. I had fish and chips with a Moosehead draft. The other plate is sausage and canadian bacon with stir fried veggies and fries with a Hop City draft. Both plates were worth every penny.

Nice place for delicious American food. Entered near eleven, it wasn't packed. The bill was decent for the quality. Menu is like a place in San Francisco I liked.

We ordered beer, garlic bread, sauteed mushrooms and Cajun catfish with stir fried veggies. The food was very good, particularly the fish and bread. Only the mushrooms were a little bland. I'll definitely eat here again when next I am at the Falls.

The Secret Garden Restaurant is true to its name. It is a wonderfully relaxing ambient and refreshingly calm atmosphere at the bottom of chaotic Clifton Hill. It is a perfect place to visit and have a relaxing meal after a busy and tiring day.

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this delicious restaurant. Well it was a terrific evening and the venue was undoubtedly one of the reasons for this strong gathering. The waiters helped in a gorgeous way, the cooking was tasty and my buddies were very thrilled. We shall surely visit again for more events. Thank you very much.

Pretty good food in the lower falls tourist area, serving B,L,D. View of the American falls. Priced accordingly for the area, but less than hotels. Excellent gift shop. Service along the WEGO route.

Service was not good, never asked if we wanted a refill, coffee, desert. Ordered the fries, served in a soup bowl... Not enough to feed a5 year old(and that is how they tasted) save my husband ordered the burger..? Not even going there!!!!!!!!!! Pls don't bother if you are going for food, save your money

This restaurant is Niagara’s best hidden gem! The food was the best we had in Niagara in three days of eating out! Everything was fresh (they meant it when they said fresh house vegetables), the steak was cooked to perfection and the roast potatoes to kill for! The pasta was also great and if you’re into lamb, you have to try it here. The patio is located perfectly near the US side of the falls but your view is spectacular of both sides! Service was also amazing, our waitress (Alexis) was very friendly and helpful. Loved it, we will come back again, the prices were very reasonable and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Walking into the gardens after dinner was also a pleasant surprise.

Wife and I ate breakfast here 9/18/18. I had two eggs, sausage, potatoes and toast. Wife had 3 egg omelet with potatoes and toast. We both had coffee. Eggs must be extremely expensive in Canada. Our Breakfast cost us $41.00. Extremely over priced. No better eggs sausage or toast than any other place. Server guy was not good. We had to flag down another server to get coffee refill. Way way over priced. Do yourself a real favor,,,,spend a few dollars more and go to the breakfast buffet at the Sheraton or Casino. We did both of those and they were extremely good and tons of food to choose from.

Food wasn't good very bland. Forgot our appy's, burnt my sons grilled cheese... oh he wont notice its on the bottom.hard to get drinks refilled. Servers weren't welcoming or friendly. Best thing was the at least the beer was good and cold.... overall waste of money

It's really unfortunate because this place has such a nice view and their food is decent. What ruined it for me is they charge for water. The server who was great and apologetic explained that we can only buy bottled water. This is unacceptable. It's actually against the law to not provide water for your customers. I'm only giving them an extra star just because everything else was great. Sounds like the owners just wanna make a few extra bucks off their customers. For this reason I will not be going back.

Great food at a reasonable price. If you're staying somewhere near the Clifton Hill area definitely make your way to the secret garden.

This restaurant might not have anything special, yet everything (food, staff, view) was more than average. We had steak and fried shrimp and both tasted great. Also, the cocktail called Niagara River Juice? was so good as well. The atmosphere is so relaxing so it was pretty good for a couple to have nice and quiet dinner.

Visited last night with my wife, 2 kids and my in-laws. The fact we were the only guests inside the restaurant at 7pm should have told us all we needed to know. The guy serving us was rather rude, got the order wrong then suggested it was our fault. The food was mediocre at best - 4 people ate their meals, 2 did not as it was unacceptable. My son ordered a cheese burger, it arrived without cheese. I mentioned this to the server who was quite annoyed, he went to the kitchen and literally brought a cheese slice out, not sure how he thought we were going to melt it on to the burger! The whole place felt "creepy". Mannequins sitting at another table were the only other guests inside, while my son was greeted by another mannequin chained to a urinal when using the restroom. The decor appears to be the original and in dire need of bringing into the new millennium. With an overhaul and new staff, this place could be a gem as the location is priceless facing the falls. Just feels like the owners have given up!
