Went for a nice dinner while vacationing in Niagara Falls. I had been to Napoli as a child and the restaurant still did not disappoint!! We had the thinly sliced beef tenderloin for an appetizer, my girlfriend has the mussels and fried, I had the veal chop, and we ended the night with the tiramisu. Napoli is a great place to get away from the hustle of Niagara Falls and is a great independent business to support. I would highly suggest a reservation!!

Pros: the service was excellent, focaccia bread, arancini and tiramisu were all 5 stars. I would highly recommend the arancini and tiramisu and would come back to eat both. Cons: the food was expensive but it’s Niagara Falls so everything is over priced. We had spaghetti and meatballs and a margherita pizza. The spaghetti sauce had a weird anchovies taste to it and I personally did not enjoy the crust on the pizza, I found the crust to be crunchy and the sauce didn’t really taste like anything.

First of all, the staff here was awesome. My 2 year old knocked a glass on the floor, which shattered (so embarrassing!) and the every employee was extremely understanding and helpful. The dining room is cozy and classy, the food (and drink) is great and I would definitely go back on my next trip to the Falls.

From the outside it seemed a quantity. I observed from my observation point empty stomachs going in and full stomachs leaving. I did notice happy and satisfied expressions on the faces of those stomachs. I do not believe it would be beyond the grasp of human reason to assume this is at least partially to the quality of food. However before I could make any definitive conclusions the warden of the Dairy Queen across the street interrupted me. As such, I am unable to give a complete review and can only advise that you be wary of the warden of dairy. Ado.

I ordered the Mafalda pasta and it was amazing. I am definitely going back to this place next time I’m in Niagara. I should mention that I don’t like goat cheese but with this dish I couldn’t even taste the goat cheese because, as per the server, they use a tiny bit of goat cheese for the cream sauce. I could smell the goat cheese (very light smell) but I couldn’t taste it. Best mushroom pasta to date; google map should add a super like button for spots like this lol

I was recommended this place by a few people and now I know why! Incredible food, and amazing service. Im still dreaming about the pizza (Bianca). I even tried making it myself at home when we got back, and not even close! I will be back the next time we are in town!

Best Italian food I've had on this side of the Atlantic. This restaurant is amazing.The bruschetta was perfectly balanced with very fresh basil, the gnocchi made me weep at the table it was so smooth, balanced, and flavorful. Their cheesecake with fresh local fruit puree (peach when I was there) was light and delicious. Atmosphere is intimate and pleasant. The wait staff were friendly, attentive, and only there when you needed them. Go here if you want a break from the insanity of the rest of the falls area.

The place you go for Italian when the restaurant you work at is still closed because covid-19. Meatballs, antipasto to start - great Focaccia and caponata - beautiful Pizza Bianca - delish Chitarra- my son loved(difficult to please) Gnocchi with Osso buco ragu - daughter smiled with every bite. Boneless ribeye with chitarra aglio e olio seasoned and cooked perfectly. Couldn't decide on the desserts. Had all 3. Long story short. When your son is a picky eater and will complain every time we go out of town. It's nice to hear that he couldn't wait to go to Napoli's and will mention repeatedly how he wants to come back. If you are willing to spend double-triple the money you might only find one other place in Niagara falls with better Italian food. (Case Mia)

My husband and I tried the mafalda pasta at Napoli in January. We had it with gnocchi instead, for one dish, and the mafalda pasta for the other. This is our new favourite restaurant. We have not stopped talking about it since January. We might drive the 1.5 hr drive it takes to get there just to have this dish again. Highly recommend.

I ordered The Mafalda(Mushroom sort of long Alfredo-ish pasta) , Arancini (filled crunchy ball with cheese and rice), Normal Pasta, Shrimp Appetizer, Gnocci, and Garlic Bread (on side without charge). This was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The pasta was super soft, especially the filled GNOCCI, almost melt in your mouth. And the Veal that came with the gnocci was also very soft and you could feel the quality. The MAFALDA pasta was truly a mushroom pasta, if you don’t like mushroom it may not be for you but it truly takes its stance. For the shrimp, it was served in a good amount of peices with onion, lemon and beans. The shrimp was truly delicious with the sauce, if you maybe don’t like the taste of shrimp too much this is something good to start with. The taste was very lemony (in a good way) and had a good grilled taste to it. Everything was perfect. There wasn’t a underserve or over serve of food, just the right amount. This place is a hidden gem, it’s a bit small in the corner of a major intersection. The place seems pretty authentic as an Italian was working there and they had a bar with Italy portraits and Italian music playing (volume was a bit too loud). The waiters knew what they were serving, as we had several questions. If you want real authentic Italian food this is definitely the place to try, it may be a bit pricy but still worth that try. For take out they serve the food in a cardboard kind of box/ Party tray with all the containers in it, very convenient to some and not to others, but it was very helpful for eating in the car lol.!! (I would have taken pictures of everything else but we were too busy devouring the food).

After dining at Napoli I can't imagine dining anywhere else in Niagara. This authentic Italian restaurant gives the experience of eating at an Italian friend's house for dinner. The food tastes like a home cooked meal - cooked with love. My fiance and I ordered the mussels to start, in a red sauce which was simply delicious. We also shared the Cavatelli pasta (with rapini and sausage) and the Vitello - a veal pork chop with potatoes and mushrooms. Each dish was flavourful, the perfect sized portion, and filled us up yet left us wanting more. Coincidentally, the butcher was sitting next to us with his wife and was happy to hear us raving about the veal chop. The service was also great - waiter was friendly, knowledegable about the menu and timing of dishes, and checked up on our drinks periodically. I am surprised at the reviews below on poor customer service, only because the customer was not able to get a seat. We booked reservations weeks in advance and had no issues. Without booking a reso that's the gamble you take and the restaurant does not deserve a 1 star rating if they don't have room to seat you. I am looking forward to my next visit to Napoli and trying the pizza and other pasta dishes that were hard to choose from!

We were a party of 5 and had to wait an hour for a seat. We only stayed so long because of the continuous underestimations of wait time by the host. Further he was rude to my friend who only wanted to find out if we would soon be seated (we had reached the end of the first promised wait duration). The restauarant seemed to be at capacity yet service was struggling despite NOT being understaffed as i enquired from a waiter. If a restaurant wants to seat a certain number of ppl they should be prepared to serve them without delay on anything.

If you’re coming here for dinner on a weekend be sure to make reservations. We ordered the meatballs, arrabiata pizza and linguine all’amatriciana. Everything was very tasty, on the salty side for me but still delicious!

Food is always fresh and never disappoints. They make everything by hand, the pasta, the deserts, and the owners own artisan salumi is famous. Service is excellent, and many of the staff have been part of the Napoli team for over a decade. This is an authentic Italian family run establishment, you feel like family the minute you walk through the door. One of my favorite dishes is the orrechiette with rapini, sausage and chilli olive oil,and the veal is unforgettable if you have a big appetite. Also a great place for pizza with a great and affordable wine list, lots of local options which is always interesting.

This is literally the best places you can eat in Niagara Falls. While most restaurants in Niagara are chains with bland and generic food, Napoli is family run and offers fantastic Italian food. Found this place while showing my Brother's American Girlfriend around the falls. We stopped in for a a coffee around 4:30 and decided to try it for dinner. I have never been more impressed with a restaurant. The food was outstanding, the staff was friendly, engaging and accommodating. A very warm atmosphere, that felt like I was eating at nonna's house. This will be a staple for me, every time I go to the falls! :)

Was vary about the owner and his behavior after reading some reviews on trip advisor. He is a stern person so you'll probably not receive a warm reception. But the food, OMG!!!!! Great appetizers pasta and dessert!!!! Shortest trip to Italy and back :) must visit

Our 1st time going to Napoli's as recommended by friends, will definitely not be our last. The food is so so tasty! We were a party of 4 and had the Aracini as apps and there were so good, for someone who makes rice balls, there's were fabulous! We shared 4 pasta dishes and 2 pizzas. The food here is homemade authentic Italian food; truly coming from 4 Italians. Service was great. Can't complain about anything..we asked for pasta and pizza to be served separately and they did. Actually when our pizza was served, 2 of our parties were outside and our server went to call them to let them know the pizza was served...who does that? Napoli does! We will be back soon! Enjoy! We were a party of 11 and showed up at 830p on a Sunday. Waited 45 mins which worked out. What an amazing restaurant. Fantastic service and real authentic food. We were worried since our guests were visiting from Italy and this was our first stop. Wow, They loved it! We had a mix of entrees and mix of pizzas and everything was amazing. Will definitely go back!

A lovely, cozy, authentic restaurant in the heart of cheap buffet chaos. The food and service were top notch. It was so refreshing to have delicious, freshly prepared cuisine, as in Niagara you are surrounded by all-u-can-eat, gimmicky buffet microwaved fast food. Fresh pastas, arancini, tiramisu, wood oven pizzas, and a great wine list here. Unbelievably, it cost the same or less for our family to eat at this gourmet restaurant than it did at other gross cheap chain restaurants. I wish Napoli was in Chicago, I'd certainly become a regular. If you dine at Napoli while staying in niagara, it will certainly be your best meal.

What a great little place for an amazing meal. We were visiting Niagara this week, and decided to have dinner here on our first night. Lucky for us, we had a super early dinner on a Wednesday since we have a baby who has an early bedtime, so it was not busy at all. As such, it was just us on the patio. The shrimp app was amazing! The drinks were yummy, and the food was INCREDIBLE! The pasta dishes made in house reminded my husband and I of the pasta we had in Italy over the last two years. That’s how good it is! I went back for the chittara pasta the following day for takeout and my baby loved it too. Thanks so much for an amazing experience! We cannot wait to be back!!! This will definitely be an annual trip for us :)

We went to Niagara Falls for one night and Napoli was suggested to us by staff at the Marriott where we stayed (the shame of it was we had reservations at another place but decided to come here). The owner's son was there - made it the most unpleasant meal I've had in a long time. The waiters were awesome, food was decent, but this guy was on a mission to show them and us who was boss - insulted them, degraded them (unfortunately we were sat right by the check-in so we also got to hear him on the phone doing the same to the poor person on the other end), all in ear's shot and all of it inappropriate, unncessary and mean. I called him on it - told his his staff was awesome, that he had ruined my family's meal. Instead of an acknowledgement that it was disturbing, or heaven forbid a real apology - I got "If I don't correct bad things it will affect YOUR experience, won't it??..... SORRY". Then he stood there with his arms crossed while we paid or bill (ask me how much I resented THAT). I will never ever go there again and would love to know that no one else would either - serve him right. His staff is scared and intimidated. Shame on him.

We were a little disappointed. The pizza was okay but not great. The crust was quite hard and in my opinion not worth the price. The wait time was 40mins to get the pizzas which is also a little disappointing. The servers we had were excellent so no complaints there.

Definitely a 10 plus experience! Was my first time and definitely will not be my last -:). Anthony and every staff member are very welcoming, making you feel like you are part of their own immediate family! A shout out to Sebastian our waiter always making sure all was to our liking, as well as Anthony! Went as part of a company function and we were served appetizers-- family style. They kept coming and coming and coming. I did not need the main course. All super delicious, really well done. FYI: Parking in front of the restaurant is FREE after 6pm, as their own parking lot gets full fast.

Many fake reviews. Owner was rude and put his finger towards my face to be quiet as he was on the phone yet I was just standing waiting to be seated. I called in and was said to come in as I didn’t need to name reservations but when I got to the restaurant in 15 mins, I was told it would be a 30 min wait. We got there and were quickly seated. We were served water instantly by a gentleman who's manners were beyond any I've seen in any restaurant. The prices are very fair and the selection is quite extensive. Soon after that we got bread and when the food came I was utterly amazed, the chicken was just perfect, and the beans and potatoes that came with it were equally great. Our server made sure our beverages were topped up and the overall experience was great!

Waiter: The pizza is "spicy" i recommend The pizza was not spicy, it was one giant Carolina reaper pepper 1.5 million Scovile heat units with a bit of daugh underneath. 3 bites in: Sorry waiter but this is way too hot and not surly edable. Anything we can do about it? Sorry no, pizza is spicy that's how it's supposed to be. If you want order a new one and i will pack you this one to take home. No, i dont know anyone in his sense who can digest this pepper. As a waiter i would have absoultly switch the dish and will emphasize more how spicy this pizza is. Epically if the resturant if supposingly high-end. Unacceptable customer service.

Louis is a great server who is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend making a reservation a few days in advance especially on Friday/Saturday’s.

I have been here so many times over the last few years. Everytime I recieve the same excellent service. The food is absolutely amazing. The antipasto is my faveorite along with the veal parmesan. The bread and olive oil is delicious and a great way to lead into the meal. The presentation of the food makes it look even better. I love this restaurant and I will definitely be back again.

If you want REAL food, this place is a must visit in Niagara falls. It's also good for families because of the size of the restaurants. I've had terrible experience in different restaurants in the area (sub-par, greasy food from restaurant chains or buffets), so finding this place was such a treat!

My girlfriend and I went here for our five year anniversary and it was everything we could have asked for. The food and service was amazing. I was unsure about this place when I first walked in. The decor was about old and tacky. It looks like a pizza place trying to be just a little fancy. Once the food came out my perceptions were blown away. The margarita pizza was delicious with lots of fresh basil. The crust was perfect. The ravioli was also impressive served in a tomato cream sauce. The meatballs were not that great, but everything else made up for it. We moved to the Niagra Region seven month's ago bang in the middle of Covid restrictions. While awaiting completion of an extensive reno, we lived in rented accommodation. We eat out when we could but also bought lots of take out food. Craving a good pizza one night we were fortunate to find Napoli Restorante Pizzeria ???? A gem of a place..Anthony, a very accommodating owner, was totally hands on, could and not do enough for his clientele. Following the lifting of Covid restrictions, this restaurant became our "go to place". The Gnocchi Osso Buco are not to be missed! Pizzas are all beautifully made and an absolute treat! Lots of other mouth watering goodies on the menu.

The best pasta I have ever had. I had the ORECCHIETE ABRUZZESE. It was amazing, spicy, but not too much. My wife had the RAVIOLI, it was very fresh, nice and light sauce. I found the pricing very reasonable. We went just before 5 on a Saturday without a reservation. We were very lucky to get a table. I would highly recommend reservations. I live 2 hours away from Niagara and I would drive down for a dinner and quick site seeing. I will be going back. Menu and pricing is online.

Decided based on reviews. Asked people out front if it was really THAT good. It was. Food was fresh and authentic. Every bite was enjoyable. Delicious. Staff were attentive and cordial. It was welcoming and clean. Will return ASAP. Two years have passed since my initial review. I have returned MANY times. I order my favourites and confidently try new dishes. We tried to eat here. We waited for 5 minutes at the front for someone to even acknowledge our existence. Two employees approached never making eye contact and walking away without even welcoming us. The third person to approach us was a man in a suit who looked at us, smiled, looked down at the paper at the podium and walked away without saying a word. It was a VERY odd experience, but after 5 minutes we decided that they didn't want our business, even with the multiple empty tables, do we left.

Was treated very poorly asked for dessert menus only to be ignored for close to 30 minutes then asked for bill with no dessert because of long wait and was made to wait 20 more minutes till the bill was received. to add to that they didn't want to talk to us at the bar for us to pay our bill all In all 2 hours for two mediocre dishes and to be treated disrespectful by their staff collectively. My wife and I went here last month and had such a wonderful time. We have some dietary restrictions but our server was on point, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The food quality and taste backed up the service. We had the risotto, bruschetta, pizza, this really amazing chocolate truffle thing (can't remember the name) and a very good sorbet! Also - ask for their citrus and rosemary shortbread! It was so good, we brought home an entire package! Our seating location could have been better but I think the main area was booked for a birthday. Usually service for other guests would take a bit but we experienced nothing of the sort. I would come back here in a heart beat!

I came here recently with a large group for a birthday celebration (the reservation was made six weeks in advance.) Firstly, it seems that most of the negative reviews are about the manager . And I will confirm them by saying that the reviews stand true. The only way I can describe the manager is as an “unaccommodating, inflexible d*ck head” with a limited understanding of what makes good customer service. This guy has the audacity to tell us to be prompt for our reservation yet, when we arrived the tables were NOT ready for us. We stood around for about 30 minutes before our tables were ready. Any small request was treated with hostility (eg. my friend asked for an espresso and the waiter rolled his eyes as he walked away). When making the reservation, I had asked to have the tables close together, which the manager said he would accommodate. However, they separated us - one table was left out in another section of the dining room. I had asked if we could move them closer, as it was past 9 pm and the restaurant was not busy anymore. The manager simply said "no" without any reason. Furthermore, the food took way too long. Some of us were served half hour before others. So the other half of my group was just left waiting for the rest of us to finish the food. Quite the disappointing experience, considering the amount of money we brought in for the restaurant that night. Perhaps they would have been more accommodating to smaller group? Maybe. But we'll never know as most of us would never return. On a positive note, the food was decent, but nothing to rave about. The overall services was atrocious. I would never come back.

I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. I went with my family of 5 and we were served by Jorge. He was wonderful. His wine suggestion was dead on and the food was simply amazing. It was a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the restaurants near the Sheraton where we stayed. The one negative was the host, a 35 'ish heavyset fellow who snobbishly met our request for a table with "do you have a reservation" instead of a warm welcome. This was a pointless question as the restaurant remained half empty during our dinner. There was no need for a reservation. We also noticed that the couple that walked in just after us was not asked this question. Racism? We are Latin so who knows. In any case, despite his lack of a welcome, we would visit again. It is pricey but worth every penny.

The absolutely amazing food aside, the service at this restaurant was flawless. Daniel was our server while his service was efficient, he also made it a point to converse with us and make us feel welcomed and comfortable. Together, my partner and I ordered the Ricotta cheese Ravioli and the Pizza Margarita with a starter of Bruschetta and it was made perfectly. For desert, we ordered the Tiramisu and the Flourless Nutella cake which was recommended by our wonderful server and was the perfect end to a perfect meal. All the ingredients were extremely fresh and had an authentic Italian feel. Would highly recommend!

From the moment I entered the restaurant with my family and their kids, we were treated with disrespect. We wanted to leave our name for a reservation and grab a drink from their tiny bar, but the owner clearly didn't want us there with his words and attitude. The place is not large and cannot accommodate large groups but my family wanted to try it with the high reviews for this place. Based off of the clientele, I can tell that Asians are not welcome. Perhaps you will be treated with greater respect if you are of non-Asian descent, but I can definitely say I do not recommend this place even without trying their food. Stay clear if possible.

We are just finishing up here at the restaurant. It was so delicious. Their homemade bread is so yummy! We got the meatballs as an app and I got the gnocchi and my husband got the margherita pizza with prosciutto! Wow. The gnocchi was so yummy so fresh, live dteh size of the pasta and the sauce the pizza was amazinggggg! Crispy thin and lots of sauce how I love it! This pizza place is overrated. I went here for some authentic Pizza and was very disappointed. The pizza was 25$ for a small which is ridiculous if you ask me. The crust was practically burnt so rock hard topping weren't fresh and not worth the extra. Highly disappointed with this place. If you think they have good food you simply haven't eaten alot of good, authentic italian food. I ordered the pizza - it was OKAY. No special flavour. My bf ordered the pasta with the tomato sauce and sausages - the quality of the sausage wasn't that great. Server was OKAY - owner seemed a bit of a douchebag. I would NEVER go back. Try Fiamma next time you're in the Etobicoke area. I think they have one of the best wood oven pizzas I've had.

Went to this restaurant and we were given complimentary bread. We had ordered quite a bit of food. So we asked for more bread and we were charged for half the size we had complimentary. Our total bill was over $200 and Napoli charges us extra for the bread. Been to other restaurants where we have ordered bread ???? and never were charged for the extra bread. To add insult we asked for trays to take our food leftover which included our extra charged bread and they removed the Bread and threw it out when we payed for it. A little tacky for my liking. Overpriced and service was just ok. I wouldn't go back here. We all learn our lesson the hard way unfortunately.

This is literally my favourite place in the world, always crazy busy Make a reservation or you most likely won’t sit, that being said inside is a quiet cozy feels like your dining with family. My husband and I went there on our first date and it’s not an anniversary without it. 8 years and we still drive from east Scarborough to Niagara Falls and home and it is worth every moment of that drive. Even with Covid, we were able to pick up our food even though we couldn’t dine in. Thank you Anthony and team for all your hard work and making us feel like family!

Stopped in on Sunday evening with no reservations. Front end staff seemed overwhelmed to say the least. A simple I'm sorry we are full at the moment would have been great but all we got was "step aside we will be with you in a minute." Well we did step aside...watched 3 parties being seated and a dispute between a server and the fellow greeting?/working the front end twice. We eventually got tired of being ignored and left. Busy is not an excuse to be rude. Talk to your customers...you might find they are a little more understanding.

On Saturday night we had dinner at Napoli. My fiancé had just proposed to me and we celebrated with our families in the upstairs of the restaurant which was absolutely stunning. The food was so delicious and the waiter who served us was amazing and made our night extra special. I can't remember his name but he was working at night (8:45pm) and had glasses. The restaurant closed at 10 but we didn't end up leaving until closer to 11. The staff was so generous and did not bother us or rush us once even though they were closed and we were the last ones in there. A for effort. For most people who don’t truly understand pizza and the quality of dough yes, it’s a good product. However for me being a pizza junkie this is a typical doughy, filling, floppy pizza with low grade ingredients. I walked out feeling like I ate a baby elephant but reality was I ate 1/2 a pizza lol. The calamari tasted like bike tubes. Felt like I was chewing on a good year tire. The cheesecake was $9.50 and the portion size was perfect for a 3 day old baby. My Buddy ordered a fish plate and it was $36 and it didn’t even come with rice or potatoes lol so he starts eating my Pizza which I gladly gave him because I felt my Insides turning. The environment was nice and clean I give them that. The server was professional. For what you’re paying and the quality of food you get it’ll be the last time I go there.

The Rucchetta salad is one of the best arugula salads that I have ever tasted, and it is how I begin each and every meal at Napoli. I love Homemade pastas and sauces, so I never usually order pasta when dinning out because I don't believe that it will ever live up to my expectations. However, every pasta dish that I have ever had at this restaurant has been absolutely delicious. The pastas are made and cooked perfectly + the sauces have always been extremely well seasoned and velvety. The Ossobuco Ragu Gnocchi + Veal Parm will have you questioning your life and why you have not ever tasted food like this before. The atmosphere makes you feel right at home and the service is impeccable. No other restaurant in the Niagara area, that I have visited, produces the consistent level of quality + service that Napoli does. I believe the price point to be honest and fair for all menu options as you will always leave satisfied in both heart and wallet. Was here and we ordered a crap ton of food. We had pizz insalata anti Pasht and shishken. It was good good. Our waiter Gorgeous Georges was excellent. But most importantly let's talk about the bread. First time to Niagara and this place rules. Came here due to the reviews with my family. The menu is small therefore i knew food will be fresh, however it was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Service can vary, but people must understand that it can get busy and they might have to wait. The ingredients in my pie seemed as if they were perfectly placed rather than thrown on. We ordered the Ravioli and had to dip the bread and crust in the sauce to leave nothing behind. Wish i would have ordered desert but im sure i would have enjoyed it. Overall is a good place to endulge on a great meal. Prices are fair for what you get, you can taste how passionate they are. Thank you Napoli and staff.

I read several reviews of this place so we decided to walk the 15 minutes from our hotel and try it out. INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Don't be fooled by the "pizzeria" in the name or the look from the outside...this place is awesome! From the atmosphere to the food quality to the attentiveness and attitude of the staff, I would give them 10 stars if I could. 1 warning though, if you have little ones that are not very patient, take the food to go. It is an upscale dining experience though kids are definitely welcome (as is casual attire) but I know that many kids, particularly while vacationing, have different tolerance levels. This has a quieter atmosphere and you will also not find any traditional kids menu. But...if your kids love pizza and are generally calm and we'll behaved at restaurants, you're in good shape! Again, this was my favorite dining experience of the week! Everything is made fresh- I recommend the sausage, ravioli and pizza Bianca. The cannolis were incredible too. And so filling! I'm just sad that I have to head home today so I won't be able to go again!

Went time visit my daughter for her birthday and looked up Italian restaurants. Reviews were great but being Italian will be honest we were hesitant. To be honest the food was AMAZING.I had the gnocchi with Oso Buncombe and it was as if I was eating my mom's gnocchi. It was horrible, my family and I went for an early dinner on a Sunday for my grandfathers birthday. My brother ordered the calamari and it was disgusting, it tasted spoiled and sour it was so bad he spit the first bite out and couldn't touch it. My caesar salad was soaked in dressing and the lettuce was soggy and wilted. My grandparents ordered the veal parm, it was dry, chewy and over cooked and the pasta side it came with barely had any sauce on it. I am absolutely appalled by Napoli's owner and customer service, a group of 15 girls dined at this restaurant. We ordered a Bruschetta that tasted really bad so we let our server know who kindly took it back, only to charge us for it later on! The owner comes up to us after we have all paid and is holding a steak knife near my friends face who felt very threatened as he was lashing out, and arguing about how he will not take the bruschetta off the bill since nothing was wrong with it to began with and it is not his problem we didn't like it. We kindly asked him if he thinks it is worth displeasing 15 customer's over an $8 dish and he raised his voice and said yes. We asked him to put the knife down but he refused and started making remarks about us not speaking in a different language around him. I have never experienced something so unprofessional and frightening before, that too at a fine dining place such as Napoli! Humiliating experience.

The driver arrived, Napoli said “we aren’t going to do that anymore”, cancelled the order without notifying us. I have had occasion to eat at Napoli Ristorante since childhood, decades ago, and Napoli Ristorante renders excellent Italian food & service every time - as traditional as you can find in Niagara Falls these days - lately, I mostly get takeout, but eating in is always attractive. There's a bit of parking behind the restaurant (off Stanley) - ~8 spots, I guess - the lot gets full during busy times; it's worth making a reservation, just to see how busy Napoli might be, as I've watched people without reservations get declined… Napoli has a decent bar - nothing too fancy, but a decent selection of liquors - of course, their wine selection is the greater attraction. Napoli's kitchen will not disappoint, even for preparations requiring finess like gnocchi or calamari! Good coffee, espresso, cappuccino, etc. I'm tired of praising them; 5 stars, no less!

SPLENDIDO! First time at Napoli - Great experience from the time we were greeted to walking out the door! The servers were all so very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The space is very charming/old world Italian. We ordered the Margherita pizza with added arugula and prosciutto and the Bistecca Tagliata (18oz Boneless Ribeye). Both were delicious! And the Vongole (Linguini & Clams) was so good I took home the very little bit left that i was too full to eat. We will be booking our next corporate event here! Thank you Anthony!

AMAZING! Some of the best Italian food I've ever had. I had the spaghetti with meatballs and everything was so rich in flavor. The meatballs had the perfect flavor without being overpowered with spices. The spaghetti itself is made in house and had a wonderful consistency. Even the tomato sauce had a very rich and fresh flavor. For dessert everyone had cannoli and it really was the best cannoli I've ever had. It was very easy to tell that every dish even down to the desserts was made from scratch. On top of the food the wait staff was very friendly and attentive. All of the employees were working together to make sure the patrons were taken care of instead of being assigned sections. Very reasonably priced especially for a homemade Italian meal. Between the delicious meal and welcoming atmosphere this place is definitely worth a try.

I know the food is spectacular and I longed for this place since my last dine in visit, before COVID. I am sure the food and wait staff will not disappoint but I felt I needed to leave this given the owner and/or manager's strong disposition to allowing patrons take-out. I may not be like the rest of society who wish to sit down and dine in but I thought when in Rome...I would pop by around 730/8 and see if I could order take-out so that my partner could taste this food I have raved about and also enjoy it myself. When I asked if I could order a salad to go, he said that salad was not on the menu that night. That was understandable. When I asked if I could order a pasta instead, he said "We aren't doing takeout orders because we have customers waiting for tables and we are much too busy for that". I couldn't say much to that. I was absolutely willing to wait, while it was prepared and thrown in a takeout box. I fail to see why when pasta is a tall order to be put in a box but not on a plate. I don't understand why takeout is on the website. I would strongly suggest removing it or putting a disclosure that takeout is sometimes but sometimes not available depending on the night..or simply, just when there are lockdowns but not when it's dine in. It was "much too busy" for takeout or my business. I would have happily waited. I asked for pasta in a box, expecting to wait, nothing more. If he had of said it would be 45 min, I could have had the choice to not wait and at least it would be up to me. While I read many positive reviews read that it's a great place and I remember it being lovely too, I don't think I'll be raving anymore. You'll never know what you can or cannot do on any given day it seems and apparently based on other reviews, "no" is common and expect it depending on the mood or preference of the manager. I expect as many reviews are given excuses by the manager, or retorts to their review or that he will "not allow" the review, this one will be no different. I would again kindly suggest putting disclosures on takeout is when you want to do it or remove it entirely. Response to the response: I wrote out what you said verbatim. You never mentioned staff shortages. Again, I would remove takeout entirely as I'm sure in summer months and without lockdowns, wouldn't every day be pretty busy and as such, most night between May and September would be not possible? The best thing to do would have been to give me the option (give a 1.5 wait even) and I would have walked. What I said was probably fair, given you've written a completely difference response and also because, have you noticed a pattern with reviews on this?

As my wife and I were returning from the USA we decided we felt like pasta, but good pasta. So we consulted Google and found Napoli. It was hard to decide on what to have. So we decided to get a few things and split them. We had wanted pasta so we ordered the spaghetti and added meatballs. The pizza that watched going to the tables around us liked good so we ordered a pepperoni. And to start everything we had a Caesar salad. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. I highly recommend Napoli!

I have been enjoying Napoli for so many years! Anthony and his staff make every meal special, whether it's just a meal out, date night or a special event. We even hosted our son's baptism there ???? I love their antipasti (the fall Caprese salad with butternut squash was delicious!) but I have an obsession with their orrechietti pasta with rapini and sausage! A great place to go for your Italian food fix!

The atmosphere is somewhat casual but inviting. We started our meal with some wonderful Prince Edward Island mussels with an orange fennel subtle broth that was delicious. I had tagliatella with a porcini mushroom cream sauce and we also had the orichiette pasta with homemade sausage and rabino. The staff is very nice and they are very attentive without being overbearing in any way. I give him a very high recommendation in a city that caters to tourists and has so many chain restaurants with expensive prices and low quality made for the masses food. Napoli is definitely A Step Above the Rest and I give it a 5-star recommendation. We were served by Jorge. He is awesome

After passing this place for over 10 years, finally decided to go in. Niagara s best kept secret. Food and service were fantastic. Definitely have measures in place for dealing with Covid 19. The only thing we thought that could be improved is more descriptive words on the menu to describe the items. What's there now is simple and then dishes would pass us that looked fantastic but we didn't entertain because the menu description didn't make it seem interesting. It was the first time and the last we will visit this establishment. The two of us enjoy Italian food but found the menu extremely difficult to understand. We ended up with a $100+ bill for a very simple meal and one small glass of wine & a glass of beer. Not only that but we were inundated with profanity from the next table of young people which, in my opinion, was unacceptable and the management should have curtailed it. We were very disappointed with our experience and will not be back.

Went here based on the reviews but left extremely disappointed. My girlfriend and I both ordered pasta, I got the veal pasta and it was okay, my girlfriend got the ravioli and could barely stomach it. She said it tasted sour and sweet, not to mention it was only 5 pieces of ravioli and we left feeling very hungry. Could be the fact that they are supposed to provide bread beforehand but “the bread wasn’t done baking”, so despite every other table getting bread, we did not. Which confuses me because it’s a 10 person capacity limit, you would think they would definitely be able to have bread prepared... instead, they gave us hard sticks in replacement. Very pricey so for the cost, I didn’t expect to leave still hungry. Overall would not recommend.

Worst experience at an "authentic" Italian restaurant ever. Service was super slow, we were not attended to in a timely manner. The food was terrible. I asked the servicer to check on the food after an hour of waiting we came at 4:30 and got our food at 5:45. Our food was cold by the time we got it and my steak was over cooked. Server did not care. We asked for the bill and it took 20 minutes to get it. Staff seemed to attend the other tables quickly and repetitively however not our group. Very upset. Will not go back. Do not recommend.

Upon entering before 5:30, the music was very loud and we asked the manager to turn it down a bit. He refused. After arguing a bit and gently threatening to leave, they lowered the volume. As soon as we ordered our food they turned it back up. The manager was rather rude in general. Our server Jorge was great, polite, and helpful. Some of us liked our food, some didn't. It's not like there's a lack of Italian restaurants in town, many others are better; I would not recommend this one.

We went to the restaurant because it’s highly praised. However, we had a very unpleasant experience. The host was very dismissive and impatient. He told us to expect to wait for thirty minutes, and he’d be right back to check with us. He never came back. When we approached him thirty minutes later, he was very rude and responded “I told you guys thirty minutes it’s only been fifteen”. We waited in total about an hour. The vongole with clam had pieces of sand in it as well. A total disappointment.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. We were treated extremely badly by one of the racist servers who was not even assigned to serve us. Additionally the food lacked flavor and tasted like cardboard. I would like to add (since I have no way of responding to the owner below) that you can't discredit my experience by saying I'm not nice because I called out what I experienced. Additionally, I did not even care about diversity due to the location of the restaurant, but there's no need to lie that you are a multi-cultural restaurant when there was obviously lack of diversity. Although, even if your restaurant is multi-cultural as you claim, that clearly did not prevent me from experiencing what I did. Instead of telling me I'm not nice for calling out a racist server, why not actually take steps to become a welcoming restaurant? However, there's no need for me to stress anymore because I won't be coming back.

Food was out of the world. The Pasta was fresh and of the highest quality. They were SO accommodating for substitutions especially with the kids. The gnocchi were an odd shape - more elongated and oval and 1/3 the normal size but were very good. The fettuccine were so good. They say children friendly - and the staff are more than accommodating and very thoughtful, but they don't have a dedicated children's menu. Would also be helpful to have small crayons for them. Not a HUGE deal, but we went because they advertise as "child-friendly". Would we go back? This place is now on our official stop whenever going through Niagara Falls. Truth is - the food was so good that we likely would make a trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls just to eat there. The cooks in this place are so talented. Pricing - I saw online to expect $18-22... which is slightly off. Yes there is ONE dish that's $18, but most were in the mid-to-high 20's... Between the 4 adults, we had 1 bottle of wine ($30 and so delish) and dessert... price worked out to about $60 a person after taxes and tip... They are priced properly for a high-quality food establishment... my mouth now craves for another plate of their amazing pasta. p.s. the table beside us ordered the Pesca di Mare. WOW it looked and smelled SO good...

We first visited Napoli Ristorante back in 2015, and finally made our way back yesterday. It did not disappoint. We sat for drinks in the bar area and ordered for take away. Everything we got was excellent. We both ate until we couldn't eat any more. And then we took a break and finished it all, very happily. Don't forget to treat yourself to the tiramisu and cannoli.

Our appetizers and main course were great. I was quite shocked that you could get Italian food that good in Niagara Falls. The salad was incredible, the pasta was very tasty. The tiramisu was disappointing ,after such a great main course, a little bland (I think they must buy it not make it). We just stopped in here on a random day in Niagara Falls, looking for a nice Italian dinner. The service here was a little odd, but the food was excellent. We had about a 10-15 min wait for a table of 2, and there were many open tables. Our waitress was also a little odd, and took a long time getting to us to take our order. The food however was very good. The meatball appetizer was just ok, but the orecchiette was great. Amazing flavor, and consistency. I would definitely order it again.

Not only do they have vegan and gluten free options but the waitress (Kim) and kitchen staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my dietary needs were met. We visit Niagara 1 or 2 times a year and try different places - this is somewhere at the top of my list now. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly, even if one of the kids was a bit noisy. I had the orecchiete abruzzes. The flavour was wonderful and the pasta a perfect texture. Other favourites were the pizzas and ravioli. Our server was extremely professional and made it an even more enjoyable experience. I hope to be back!

The outside does not show a lot of promise but that changes the moment you step inside to an intimate and higher class Italian dining. All servers were polite and knew the menu very well. The wine was a great selection of the very best. I had the gnoochi and it was like eating the fluffiest pillow ever in a good way. I then tried their pizza a simple margarita and it was so clean and delicious. A fantastic red sauce that complements all the dough and the basil on top was perfect. My dessert was just the espresso but it came with a cute biscotti which was the cherry on top. Price wise they are expensive but if you want to be romantic and impress a date this is the place to do it.

We heard about this restaurant from a local and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere brought you back in time. The staff was friendly and attentive. We both had the fresh made pasta (Gnocchi and the Mafalda) which was absolutely tremendous. This is the closest you can get to going to nonna's house. The osso bouko is absolutely amazing. Very authentic Italian food, and great service. Doesn't matter if you are bringing your children, or taking your s/o on a nice out, it's perfect.

Love this spot for a night out eating great food. I live in Hamilton, but the drive is totally worth it. Food and service is amazing. I recommend always getting the calamari and pizza to share and try a delicious pasta for your meal. Can’t wait until my next visit *drool*. Also, It’s nice seeing the same faces when I go. The menu is small, but unique. We were a party of 4 and shared a pizza, and got 4 different entrees. Lots of vegetarian options and more authentic Italian than your traditional "Americanized" meals. The food was absolutely delicious with home made pasta! The cappuccino and cheesecake for dessert was amazing, the tiramisu was very dry. My only complaint is that we called ahead to find out about the wait and the Maitre D' made it seem like there wasn't one. We were at the restaurant for almost 2 hours total and only 20 of that was actually eating. However, the server was very attentive and our drinks were always full.

We had our Anniversary dinner there this evening with great Freinds. The atmosphere and service were welcoming, extraordinary and appreciated. The food was fine but the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I’ve worked in the industry so I understand things happen but not only did no server take care of us but then they left us waiting an hour before I had to go find a manager. When the manager came he was even worse. Not to mention the excuses from the manager who did not listen to a word we said. We did NOT have a server. We had about 5 people come by at different times and the manager did not help whatsoever.

The food here was insane. We were so impressed and blown away by how delicious the food was. We had the veal chop, which was a seasonal dinner feature, and the osso buco potato gnocchi which is a regular menu item. Best birthday I've ever had. Service was also impeccable. Opening hours are between 430-930 so I recommend taking that into consideration when making your reservation

My wife and I decided to take the kids for a weekend away from home to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We made resos here for dinner, it was an excellent. (We had the grilled shrimp, pizza, gnocchi with osso bucco and gelato) Great food, great service, great ambiance and excellent decor. Out with the girls! I have not been to a restaurant in a long time were I was totally satisitied...well guess what Napoli is the place! Anthony greeted us at the door and was friendly and professional the whole night through and Sabastian....you made the occasion all more memorable. And the food....none of the 7 of us had a complaint EVERYTHING tasted awesome!!! The ambience was on point and the price point......excellent. We WILL be back soon!

Great service , delicious soup of the day. Bruschetta was simple. Bread, tomato slice and diced basil. Risotto was to die for. Sea Bass was tiny and wasn't the best I've had but passable. Old style Italian ristorante inside. Very little parking but it's free.

We went here after a very long time, we used to go there when we lived closer. In terms of service, atmosphere and the quality of the food, it is still an excellent restaurant. Considering Covid, the attention to safety was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. As for the food, we had the calamari, Funghi Pizza a d one of the pastas. The Finghi Pizza stole the show which we shared, it was amazing. The Tiramisu was amazing, perfect taste amd melted in my mouth. I was contemplating brining a piece home. Wow.

My wife and I went to celebrate our one year anniversary after having our wedding reception in the upstairs accommodation last year. For the price of our meal, I was surprised by finding bones in the seabass and the bland cold calimari. Our waiter left us hanging between dinner and desert and forgot to bring out my wine. I was hoping that for our anniversary the owner would of had a cute desert made for us or at least came to say hello. We will give Napoli’s another chance sometime in the future, but we are not in a rush to get back.

Its not that I have anything bad to say, I would just say overall the experience was alright. The food was fine, but the wait was a bit long which than made the food even more underwhelming for how much it is hyped up in the reviews. I was surprised to get bruchestta served as pieces of bread with a full slice of tomato (rather than diced) and a absurd pile of basil. I have personally never seen it this way. It wasn't bad, just shocking haha. The only real complaint I have is that the whole restaurant smelled very very strongly of fish and dish water which was a bit of an off-putting smell when you walk in the door or are trying to enjoy a meal. Again, not a bad experience, but I left not understanding the hype.

Sub-par food. Rude and inflexible owner. This restaurant does not pride itself on customer satisfaction, but moreso their earnings, which is a shame. I will not be returning and I highly recommend going to several other fine establishments in the area than going to Napoli.

Awesome Place!! spent our wedding anniversary there in Oct 2018. Was Impressed with the Antipasto for two and the hand rolled fresh gnocchi. The Canoli is legit the best ever and the vibe was a nice cute old school Italian (the best!!). Pizza was very good...my recomendations.... if you like pizza, get the classic, not the margarita.

My husband and I have been coming to Napoli since 2012! We just can't get over the authentic Italian food and how amazing their staff are. Even though we only get to go once a year, their head server remembers us and he makes us feel so welcomed! I love the new renovation done to the restaurant. It definitely opens the space up and makes it more vibrant! Keep up the amazing job!

DO NOT EAT HERE. Owner is a joke. Food is atrocious and only 1 cook in the kitchen which explains the enormous wait time. For a family of 4 with small children owner was disrespectful if front of my kids so do not recommend this place with kids. Absolutely not an authentic Italian restaurant. Antica down the street is more authentic. If I could rate less than 1 star I would. If you choose to make reservations beware they will not hold up . Walk ins are told absolute crazy time for wait or like our situation, 15 min wait turned into 1 hour. STAY AWAY

Loved this restaurant. We were looking for a special dinner to crown our weekend getaway and Napoli did not disappoint. Upon walking in we knew we had found the right place. Decor is well done with perfect lighting for dining and the sound system made it sound like a live piano player was in the room. Most restaurants don't get how important that is. Food was delicious and service was excellent and professional. Our experience at Napoli was flawless!

Originally wanted to skip dessert that night, but then I overheard the waiter talking about home made cannolis... Best cannoli I've ever had!

We were just driving by this place and thought it looked pretty good. I'm glad we stopped here. The food and service were both fantastic. Very friendly staff and the gnocchi in braised veal sauce was incredible. Be sure to stop here when you come to Niagara.

Please read the full review for a better explanation of the rating. Coming from 3 hours away, we booked a reservation ahead of the date for our 5 year anniversary dinner. When we got there however we were told the patio was shut down due to rain EARLIER in the day (including the indoor patio that was offered to us at first?). This would have been more understandable had we received a call or some form of communication prior to our reservation time. To be honest, we were told we weren't expected and it took a minute to locate our reservation, so I have a feeling the indoor patio was actually open and just full, and that our booking was simply overlooked. I want to make clear that the staff was very nice, but didn't really push to correct the evening. We ended up getting takeout, and to the food was pretty good all around. It did get cold by the time we walked back to our hotel but the flavour on the pizza was great and the pasta was pretty good, although closer to what you would expect for the 25$ price tag. Overall - nice staff, pretty good food, and an anniversary dinner that was unfortunately spoiled

Would have been 5 stars had customer service been a little better because the food was amazing. Our server was great, only issue was with whoever was management. It’s rude to treat tourists different than your “regulars”. Also, it’s very impolite to demand your server to clean a table while someone is still seated there. My experience here is equally as important as your “regulars” who were all greeted more politely and respectfully than I was. Would’ve taken the issue up with management instead of leaving a 3 star review but the problem was with management....

Delicious food and out of the crowded tourist area. Our server was excellent and helped us pick the best dishes including: the appetizer gnocchi (butternut squash with a cheesy cream sauce), arugula pear salad, grilled shrimp, and a sausage pizza. Would definitely come back again next time or in the area. Very accommodating to a couple with an infant.
