Celebrated my birthday here and the food & service was amazing!!! Homemade pastas, lots of fresh seafood dishes and a great selection of dishes & wines to choose from. Everything was very tasty, with all the right flavours and cooked to perfection. Worth every penny.

My stay at this restaurant was for a private event. The food was very good! Not too sure if the kitchen staff was the same as the restaurant but the food was great! Bar staff was very polite and helpful. The decor was fancy. The dining room is separated from the bar area. This made my experience very comfortable and "classy". I recommend for a private event or party of 20 or more. Suggested more for special occasions like Christmas, etc.

Food was decent with extremely small portions. The service was horrible. We started off with a friendly waiter who was very attentive and quick with our order, then after antipasto.. a group of people who obviously made reservations in the private group dining area arrived and our waiter began serving their table. We didn't receive our main dish of pasta until and hour and a half later. No water refills, nothing. Was not a busy night at all, I think they had 4 tables of 2 people in the entire restaurant in addition to the group. Clearly they were understaffed which is disappointing considering they only take reservations, therefore they expected the group to arrive, meaning they should have been prepared with extra staff. Another waiter eventually arrived to give us our main dish and collect our payment. Original waiter never came back. No apologies. Pasta is very cheap to buy and cheaper to make, so considering we came to pay premiums of 30$ or more a plate to eat at this establishment..you'd think the management would up their staff to customer ratio..

Fine dinning, so I totally understand that but for the small portions you got, but totally over priced. The atmosphere was nice though, however, like some of the other comments, maybe the other servers are better but the guy we got kept rushing us to order and the sparkling water wasn't unlimited but he would pour you full glasses and kept opening new ones without asking. We caught him opening up another one before the other one was fully empty. Definitely a server that racks up your bill. Savage! And when you paid, he would keep mentioning about the gratitude and that it's not included and when he hands you the debit / visa machine he would mention where to put in the tips again and when you say oh were doing that separately, he would say again oh do no tips under the machine. Okay, let me continue for you, he gets to the tip option, and says "so, gratitude will be $0.00" definitely a bill hiker. Other than the service, I would try this place again. Literally giving it a low star rating due to server service.

Everything was great my only complaint is that I was left wanting more. I'm not sure if this was because the portion size wasn't big enough or the food was too good that I didn't want it to end . Costs a bit more than your average restaurant but I would say it was worth the extra few dollars that you're spending.

What an amazing experience! This restaurant is so clean, fancy, and tranquil. The service was absolutely fantastic, and the food was so good, I couldn't even believe it! We got send over complimentary soup, truffles and ice sorbet which really made our experience even better than it already was. I cannot recommend this place enough! The food was authentic, well thought out and the most delicious meal I have ever had. We will definitely be back!

The food is absolutely to die for, hats off to the chef. However the reason for the 3 star review is due to the lack of service , our server (did not get her name but a much older lady) did not seem interested in sharing a smile or to even maintain some level of customer service given the restaurant is in the fine dining category I was quite surprised. We were never offered the option of Parmesan or pepper with our dinner, we had to top up our own drinks while the other tables had their servers do it for them. We were shocked that we had to ask for a ice bucket for our wine , while the couple next to us had an amazing waitress by the name of Sara who had offered a candle, ice bucket and went above and beyond with a pleasant smile and great conversation. Please keep the same level of consistency when it comes to service or have her re-trained!

He always made sure we were topped with water, wine and cocktails. I was the only one in the group that is vegan, the kitchen made me special dish! It was delicious. Delicious food and excellent, knowledgeable (and fun!) service. I had a caesar salad to start (one of the best I've had - perfectly dressed and mouthwatering), followed by the rigatoni primodoro (simple ingredients: tomato sauce and basil, but delicious nonetheless). Sampled the sweet and just-the-right-hint-of-salty apple cobbler with what tasted like homemade vanilla ice cream (super yum).

The best dining experience I have ever had!! We came here after my boyfriend proposed and everything from the food to the ambiance just highlighted our night. The singer/entertainer was fabulous and he went around the tables talking to all the patrons. When he came to ours he said "you are new, what brings you here?" and we let him know that we were engaged. He congratulated us and then announced it to the restaurants' patrons all of whom came personally to congratulate us and give us tips on a happy wedded life. Many people got up to dance during dinner and we joined them. Our server was flawless, he gave us our privacy and yet ensured that we were given enough attention even though we left our table and food multiple times to dance and enjoy. It was a magical experience and one I will never forget!

It’s all about the atmosphere for this high end restaraunt. I tried it out for my birthday and didn’t find anything special about the food. The service is good but slow even though we were the first one’s in for the dinner portion (which starts at 5:00 p.m.) The quality of food is fresh but theres no “vavava voom” in spices, considering the price. The location of the restaraunt is a bit random as well. The only thing I was impressed by was the wine cellar room.

The staff or family as I would like to call them are as warm as they are super professional and the food is out of this work authentic. I absolutely love this restaurant! We just left from there and they almost had me in happy tears. Our server Jamie was so amazing in every way! I was nervous because I didn’t know if they were going to get upset with my inability to walk or my tics. But at the first moment when I walked in, they instantly brought me to the closest table so I didn’t have to walk far which they told me to take my time and call if I need anything. After we sat down I was ticking away but our server Jamie was ever so sweet and accommodating to us. Near the end my ticking was getting really bad so we decided to skip desert but Jamie didn’t feel good about us leaving without desert so he told us to just wait 1 more minute and brought out a beautiful tiramisu to go. JAMIE I CAN NOT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR YOUR AMAZING SERVICE!❤️❤️

This place definitely a hidden gem. Food was really good. Probably better than many Italian restaurants in Toronto. Even better than those restaurants in tourist area near Niagara Falls. I was not expecting it was this good. And here's my breakdown. Food : 6 out of 5. Can't ask for more. Already exceed my expectations. I believe due to Covid, the menu has limited to certain choices, it's kinda sucks but I am ok with the menu. Service: 5 out of 5. Exceptionally well. Really not much to pin point. Ambience : 4.8 out of 5. Very cozy, it's a great place for dine with your date. Even good enough for the whole family. Price: 2 out of 5. What you pay is what you get. Not as pricey as those tourist spot but ain't cheap. It is decent. It's worth the price. Overall : 5 out of 5. It's a really good Italian restaurant in Falls area. Definitely recommend to anyone.

We were in Niagara for a stag party on Saturday night and all decided on this restaurant because of the ratings and menu options. What a mistake! I'll start by saying we were a group of 6 so nothing out of the ordinary. Our waiter, who's name I think was Domenic, was probably the worst server I've ever had interaction with in my life. Rude, obnoxious and sarcastic to a point that was humiliating. To summarize, the meal took about 2.5 hrs from start to finish. Domenic had to be asked about the daily specials and when asked he couldn't tell us what the specials were, I think he said something to the effect of chicken and something pasta? Then deflected and said he'd have to check... Totally unacceptable when you're paying top dollar for Italian food. In fact, I've had better service in an East Side Mario's than this place. He didn't once ask us how our food was after dropping it off and we actually had to ask another server to get our bill because he was nowhere to be found after dropping off our mains. This was all after waiting about 2 hrs to get the food. Then when I tipped him 10%, he had the audacity to say and I quote "10%? WOW!" to my face. I've worked in the service industry for over 20 years and never in my wildest dreams would think of saying that to a paying customer. The list of things that were not satisfactory about this restaurant and our experience are too long to list but the food was mediocre at best and the service was just plain old unacceptable. I would never step foot in this establishment again and I would strongly recommend you don't either. They don't deserve to be in business after that display of customer service. Embarrassing!

Best upscale restaurant in the Falls. Forget about the overpriced places along the main strip and take a short cab ride here instead. You won't be disappointed. The food is great Italian, the service top notch, and they have live music and a really comfortable bar area for a relaxed drink. It's the perfect spot for a group outing or a romantic date night.

My Wife & I visited this restaurant last week, while visiting Niagara Falls on our 3rd anniversary. We had one of the best dining experiences we have ever experienced, anywhere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Niagara Falls area! The restaurant was quite large, however the way that it was laid out it allowed for a very intimate experience. The host was prompt and our server was outstanding. She had the Veal Parmesan and I had Duck Linguine, and shared a Grilled Calamari appetizer. All were fantastic and well presented.

Best dinner in a very long time. Best Italian food I've had in a very, very long time. Great options on the menu and each was packed full of flavors. Extra kudos for plenty of veg options. The ambience is elegant yet warm and cozy. But above all is the service - best in class!!! Our server, Scott (not sure!) made us feel so much at home and offered best suggestions when it came to choosing our dinner options. Very polite and friendly. I would drive long hours to go to such places. Overall, beautiful experience and delicious food!

I'm sorry to write this as the atmosphere was spectacular BUT 1. The directions from the waiter were horrendous and not only got us totally lost, he argued with us about turning right and left...we had to pull over and mapquest it which we should have done in the first place 2. I ordered the steak sandwich and got a very tough veal parm...I asked him if this was the steak sandwich. He said YES. I then ate a few more bites, called him over and told him there was NO WAY that this was the steak sandwich. He argued AGAIN and then conceded that yes. He had made a mistake...no offere to correct the mistake and bring what I ordered. We were so disgusted we just left.

Great local Italian restaurant on the historical edge of Niagara Falls. Decor was tastefully done and the establishment was clean. The food was very good put I found the portions were a tad on the small side. The waitress we had was a little inattentive given she only had 2 tables during an off day lunch service, but she was polite and professional. This restaurant is a little on the pricey side, but the quality in the preparation was present. Lunch for 2 cost us about $100 for main course, dessert and coffee each. Definitely worth a try when visiting the falls and if you want to try a long standing local restaurant.

My wife and I dined here last night, and had an amazing time. The restaurant was quite quiet. But the staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. We chose to sit at the bar, and had an awesome experience because of it. We Had a front row seat to watch the Sous Chef create our pizzas. As he shared some history about the place. For a higher end Italian restaurant, I would've expected better flavour of the food. The pasta, breads, risotto was very bland and "just ok", nothing special. For the amount of food, it was way over-priced. I was very surprised how bland the food was....the restaurant itself is a very beautiful atmosphere, maybe worth it just to go to for drinks, but was not worth it.

Went to Casa Mia with my wife to celebrate both our birthdays it was awful. The grilled calamari was tough, the main course of veal arrived after a 50 minute wait and was over done and a bit chewy. My wife had the fish course, veggies were very good but again the fish was over cooked. Disappointed to say the least. The female server was very good at what she does.

Angela was awesome, always love finding local restaurants opposed to huge chains. Food was excellent, not terribly priced and the quality, and presentation was top notch - thus making it worthwhile for the cost. There aren't too many restaurants that meet these criteria but this is definitely one of them. There's nothing quite like actual fresh pasta, a nice thick piece of veal that is tender and the meatballs are not salty. Will most certainly be back here in the future. I'd give it a 10 stars if I could.

Casa Mia is simply the best gourmet restaurant in Niagara Falls. It is also the most expensive - but that can often be attributed to the addition of rare wine vintages, amazing martini Vodka's/Gins, and old soul Cognac's to the food items. We recently enjoyed ALL of those things in a night out with friends, LOL. To be sure, for the average person, Casa Mia is not a place you will visit on a regular basis, it is more of an old friend you will enjoy for a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. Always make space for 3-4 hours in your evening so you can thoroughly enjoy the experience. From a culinary standpoint, everything on the menu is amazing. Add to that a tremendous professional staff, a warm environment, and the afore-mentioned libations, and you can easily see why Casa Mia receives my HIGHEST recommendation. Enjoy!

I wish there was a zero star option. The rudest, most obnoxious staff I have ever encountered. When asked to speak with a manager, he came to the table and started yelling at our party of 19 people there to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary for our grandparents. He started swearing at one of the guests. We hadn't even gotten bread at the table. We were trying to clarify our set menu. He also got into the faces of two of the guests. Absolutely despicable service. Our entire party got up and left because of the atrocious behaviour of the staff.

Had reservations and took an uber... got there 5 min before the reservation to a locked door... knocked on the window a guy came and said it was slow so they closed. Asked if we could get charcuterie and a martini and they said the kitchen was trying to close... note there was other people in the restaurant. If you go call them for reservation. The food and service was amazing and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I had a hard time to make a decision between 3 different dishes and with his help, I chose the ravioli and it was delicious! Between our appetizers and food, they brought us lemon sorbet to cleanse our palate and at the end they brought us chocolate truffle which was part of their service. We had an amazing creme brulee for dessert! Overall, great atmosphere, food, and service.

My wife and I had dinner here today. We had a really nice waiter named Andrew. It didnt look that busy when we came in around 715pm. We got the date night menu which looked good for the price. It wasnt vegetarian friendly and our waiter made a joke about showing my wife the door for being vegetarian. Normally a joke like that could be laughed off but his tone wasn't the best and she felt discriminated. The risotto was garnished with prosciutto he ensured that he could make the risotto vegetarian friendly. After andrew took our order I think it took about 20 mins to bring out the bruschetta. It was cold and bland. It took another 20 to get it cleared off the table. We each got a salad, and my wife got the Caprese which our waiter did not tell us was an up charge. Salad was really good but we noticed a bunch of tables without food and noticed a trend this night. Slow service. No one came to clear off tables that had left or check if we were okay. A busser came by and I just asked her if the kitchen was busy. She gave me a lot of sass and told us the place was busy and the food would be out shortly. 20 mins later we got our food. From the time we sat down to our mains it was about 80 to 90 minutes. The food was warm but nothing special. The chicken parmigiana was not anything great, little bland to be honest. We decided to skip dessert as it would have taken too long and we wanted to get going. We asked for the bill and I noticed the charge for the upgraded salad to which I asked Andrew about since he never mentioned the extra charge before. He told me he asked the manager to get it waived since we skipped dessert but the manager was "not in a good mood". I felt bad for not tipping Andrew, but I was just fed up. Maybe it was an off day. We were told it was busy but it didnt look like it. Either way there should have been a higher standard. We should not have to wait over an hour for our main items and we should have been checked on. Disappointing given the reviews but just be mindful.

Travellers from out east Toronto. The establishment is well kept clean and very presentable. Our server Angela was very kind, professional and knowledgeable of the menu. She even went out of her way to ask the bar of the variety of tequila available. The food was absolutely fantastic. Presentation, A1 We ordered the salmon , rib eye , gnocchi, Caesar salad , a shot of patron silver and coffee tequila, and finally cheese cake. All the food we chose from the menu was delightfully tasteful. Hats off to the family owned business. Many thanks to Gino , Mama Lucy, Claudio, and Domenic. 30 plus years in business. Amazing ???????? I would recommend eating at this beautiful restaurant. If there were 10 stars I’d give this place a 10 out of 5 stars.

After weeks of waiting for a good night to order takeout, we finally did it. My father didn't feel comfortable dining inside and the restaurant is closed on Sundays and holidays, and we planned to use a gift card. The food was incredible and the portions were massive. We were beyond impressed and loved every bite. We gave a tip and the owner was so surprised (since we were ordering take out) that he gifted us a bottle of red wine for free! Incredible experience even for take out. Definitely recommend. Love this place.

Wow, where do I start... it was our first time here and so we wanted to try a little bit of this and that and we were delighted with everything we ordered. The service was excellent and the server made us feel welcome and comfortable. We received fresh bread, butter, oil and vinegar as well as daily soup, that alone was the best start for what we ordered, superb and all completely. Oysters were fresh and yummy and the appetizer of the day was smoked salmon salad, it was absolutely fantastic and left us wanting more! We also ordered duck linguine and ravioli truffle porcini that sent me back in time to my grandmothers cooking, Bravo! We finished of with tartuffo affocato to share WOW ...and our journey was slowly coming to an end.... for this time. Sincerely looking forward to our next visit

I mentioned it’s my husband’s birthday they were super nice over texting at 5:16pm. Our dinner was 7:00 pm …Then when we went the server was like oh no it’s your birthday so nobody told her ! We ordered beef carpaccio it’s a shame to have Italian beef carpaccio with bastrami , the spaghetti was drenched with chilli and we couldn’t finish it. As far as the the veal chop is concerned, I ordered medium/rare and it was served medium. Then we asked for the bill , after we paid I sent them that I’m really disappointed they texted me back why you on a rush! Seriously !!! After we ate and paid and you did nothing not even a candle on his dish for the birthday guy!!! The overall experience was below average for a supposedly a special night.

Had dinner there because I got gift card through work. Have to say I don't always give a lot of four stars, but this one deserves it walking in. You smell the wave of fresh garlic and you're instantly hooked on Italian cuisine that you hadn't even had yet.. you sit down in a relaxing atmosphere and you enjoy an experience of Italian food that I haven't had since I went to Italy a few years back. Highly recommend It the prices were not bad a bit pricey but really can't complain on that because you know everything is fresh and homemade!

My Date and I sampled the Wednesday Nite "Date Nite" at Casa Mia. Making a reservation beforehand is advisable because this place is popular. My husband and I have been to this restaurant more than a dozen times...We decided to go for Valentine's day, I ordered the chicken picatta...The chicken tasted funny so I kept checking each piece...I ate about a quarter of the chicken and decided to cut the middle...to my surprise the chicken was RAW, they took my meal off the menu and gave us our coffees for free...about 24 hrs later i started with bad stomach cramps, fever and stuff coming out from both ends...I will not be returning to this restaurant...Very disappointed because we liked it a lot

I was extremely excited to try this local restaurant and booked a reservation for 2 at 5pm (the time in which the restaurant opens for dinner service). The atmosphere was beautiful, and the service was superb. However, as the first set of customers in the restaurant and also the first table to place an order, we received our order at 6pm. I've been to several fine dining restaurants, and thus I understand the wait time is expected for fine dining. I docked off 2 stars due to the quality of the food versus the price of the food. I ordered their Veal special of the day (Veal chop with ravioli) for the price of $32, and my guest ordered the Carved Ribeye for $46.75. We were quite disappointed with the presentation, as it appeared quite messy for fine dining, and for the price we paid. Although the Ribeye was cooked nicely, my veal was tough to chew and quite dry. The veal was accompanied with 4 raviolis which were not extraordinary and tasted quite bland. I will give this restaurant another try and perhaps this was just an "off" day for the kitchen.

Had a pleasant evening at Casa Mia, we really enjoyed the food and thought the outdoor accommodations were great since it protected us from the rain. However, we found the service was a tad slow when we went. Our reservation was for 7:30 and no one approached us for water or to take take our order for almost 40 minutes. Granted, a lot of places are supremely busy given the recent reopening.

The meal was good (not amazing) but we felt rushed to order at most stages of the meal and when we were trying to decide on dessert, but were slow to do so, we were told by our server (Dominic) that the owner needed to "flip our table". We immediately said no problem and got the bill. This was very rude and abrupt service, especially given the fact that our bill was $250. We could've easily spent another $50 on the desserts and specialty coffees we were thinking of ordering but now we will not return again. There are a lot of other places to spend $250.
