I am sorry to say that I had great expectations on . this restaurant but my experience was far from being great. I have to admit that the customer service was fantastic and the server and the business owner were very caring and constantly asking about how were we doing. Unfortunately we had to wait for an hour after arriving to get a completly burned steak and lamb rack, when they ordered well.done and medium well respectively. I liked everything on the place itself - like the atmosphere, facility cleanless and customer service - except for the most important part of the experience in a restaurant : The food.

This place was recommended by the hotel we were staying at, needless to say our evening out was one mess up after another. 1st the taxi took us the long way resulting in over charging us, 2nd the hostess at the restaurant forgot about us, 3rd the server got my order wrong so my husband and I ate at different times and 4th we got a dessert of “their” choice and a whole whack of “I’m sorries”. Thank you for ruining our evening and for the free taxi back to the hotel. When I informed the lady at the hotel about our evening out she called the restaurant. They offered to buy our meals if we came back. My question is they had a chance to buy our meals the night before why didn’t they do it? Or at least buy me mine. Sorry, but 3 strikes....your out.

Made a last minute reservation for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment we walked in the gentleman at the host stand made our night. I didnt catch his name but he had the most distinctive Scottish accent! Serve was great as they gave us a nice booth off to the corner. Food was amazing. My husband opted for the meat lovers pizza and I the Linguine Shrimp (spicy). Hands down the best we have had. Servers were friendly and didnt hover. Very clean and reasonably priced! High reccomend. Great atmosphere and great wait staff. I didn't like what I ordered once and they brought me a new meal because I barely touched it. My parents miss the Veal Marsala that used to be on the menu, they would always order that on special occasions. Other than we that love it!

Had a wonderful dinner while visiting from out of town. Food was delicious. Becki, our server, went out of her way to give us great service even though we showed up close to closing time. Then when we were done and she heard we we're going to get an Uber, she called us a cab instead and the restaurant paid for it. Apparently they know they aren't as close to all the falls attractions so it's something they do as an extra incentive to try them out. Definitely worth it! Pricey but tasty.

My wife & I enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner at Carpaccio. I had the lamb risotto & my wife had the veal masala. Both were excellent. Service was relaxed but personal. The waiter brought us complimentary cheesecake after we casually mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary which was a nice touch. Good COVID procedures in place as patrons were spaced out nicely. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Definitely will be returning for another visit.

Ordered delivery and very disappointed. Ordered Linguini Amore. Only had a couple mouthfuls as it was so salty and unedible. The first ingredient was asparagus but none was present. Had to throw it out. Skip the Dishes would not come in my apartment building. Had to go outside to get food. Other delivery places do come in.

Food is mediocre at best. Patrons used to Americanized (rich, creamy, and salt-intensive) Italian food may appreciate it, but more discerning guests will not. Service staff were generally courteous, but our waiter rushed us through our entire meal and served us our flight of local beers late during the main course, at which point they were lukewarm. I will commend, however, their use of real buffala mozarella in their Caprese. One appetizer, one beer flight and two mains for two persons will set you back 90$ - typical for the area but not worth it nonetheless.

Try it. I am a regular. Carpaccio's has excellent food, nice décor, and good service. I have not had a bad experience. The meatball appetizer is a must - not expensive and big enough for two to share - ask for tomato sauce on the side. The pizza is great too. If you love seafood you have to try the zuppa del pesce - it is so full of shrimp, calamari, clams, mussels, etc. that it is more of a meal than a soup. The tenderloin and swordfish carpaccio is delicious. The mains are typical Italian fare and I have not been disappointed yet. It seems chefs put a lot of care into the food preparation and presentation. The washrooms and all multiple single stall rooms (unisex) so you have the privacy of having the entire washroom to yourself so you do not need to groom in front of others. The prices are reasonable for the quality. Tuesday night is date night with prix fixe offerings, but I prefer a la carte. This restaurant has a strong local following and gets a lot of tourists during the busy seasons.

Came to carpaccios with high expectations to only be disappointed. I was not particularly fond of our waitress who was a bit passive aggressive, but was even more disappointed with the food. I had ordered the gnocchi which had good presentation but seemed like a pound of salt was added into the dish making me unable to eat it. Another person in my group had ordered the chicken Parm which looked like it had been taken out of a TV dinner package and put on to the plate, as well as the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken, again, VERY salty and when I had tried it I was unable to swallow because of how poor it tasted. At the end of our meal we were also not informed of the 17% gratuity on to the bill (it is also not listed on the menu). If I could rate 0 stars I would and should not be allowed to list this place as Italian food!!!

Myself and a few friends went on a Tuesday evening for the ‘Date Night’ special, and made reservations in advance, we were unsure if it were going to be busy or not since it was the first time dining there for all of us. It was not busy at all, were seated right away. Took longer than it should have to be brought menus, server did not give us her name nor did she wear a nametag. Overall quality versus price it was awesome how much we got for the price we paid. The plates served were nothing special presentation wise, got veal parm as my entrée an was a very large portion served with spaghetti.. got to take half home as left overs. Though the restaurant had a very modern and clean cut look the plates served did not match the concept of the restaurant. Quality versus price it was awesome, dinner for two was only $60 which included a bottle of wine, antipasto to share, soup or salad, entrée, and dessert. Would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Went there for dinner. Friendly service, clean dining area, love the decor. Ordered arancini as an appetizer, the middle of each rice ball had a cold peice of mozzarella. Needed to be cooked a little longer so that it was all melted. The pasta we ordered was excellent. Would recommend this place overall.

We went for my girlfriend's birthday and had a great time! We started with a cocktail each and both loved what we got. The calimari was delicious as an appetizer. We switched to a bottle of the Inniskillin Pino Grigio which was great (Not necessarily a plus for the restaurant, as much as Niagara as a whole.) After dinner, they brought a slice of cheesecake with a candle for my girlfriend while the other patorns at the restaurant sang.

Incredible from start to finish, nice friendly staff welcomes you at the door and we got lucky enough to get Donna as our waitress as she was a pleasure all night. Food was amazing, we started with the arancini light crunchy outer later with nice soft warm inside filled with rice and cheese mixed with a great marinara it's away to start your meal. Gnocchi was the best I've ever had that sauce being the highlight, and my gfs pasta was delicious with a nice amount of pesto with the penne and add mushrooms and zucchini she was in heaven. Highly recommended and will come back again when we come to Niagara everytime.

Last weekend my husband and I celebrated our 5th anniversary here. The food was amazing and the bread they offer as a starter was one of the best I’ve had. It was warm and delicious. We are both vegetarians and they were very accommodating. Basically said we can substitute anything which was really nice. Most importantly she didn’t make us feel bad for asking to make some changes. Food was great, service was great! Definitely recommend it and personally we will be going back for sure.

Great dinner experience... Start with a martini.. They have a great selection!!! Yum We had bruschetta and calamari to start. Both dishes were plentiful and delicious! Warm buns and butter also came to the table. We shared a meal afterwards that the chef split on two plates. Veal parm.. Well presented and delicious. Wine selection is also good.. We did pass on dessert. Service was good, quality checks throughout.. Very attentive. Would most definitely go there again!!! Loved the individual washroom set up, quite unique. Seating allowed privacy and space. Great restaurant .. Lots of different rooms, private & otherwise.

We ate here 3 times this month..we had one good experience out of the 3. We had a diet soft drink that was flat and no flavour. Our dinner was not good..its NOT ITALIAN!! . I am never eating here again...management didn't even come to our table to ask how our meal was....they should be ashamed of themselves stating there Italian..unbelievable!!

Me and my boyfriend ate here in July. it seemed busy, but they took our walk in. we waited for 40 minutes for someone to take our drink order (wasn't even the server, the hostess took it). then we waited another 30-40 mins for our food order, and it was a server walking by who asked us if we had our orders taken, then took them. in the end we asked to speak to manager, he apologised and offered us a free dessert. we just wanted to leave so we declined and asked for our bills he said okay. we then waited 20 minutes and no one came with our bills. we called the manager again, and he ended up giving us the meals for free. if you aren't staffed to seat a walk in, don't seat a walk in. thanks to the manager for at least paying for our meals. still terrible experience. the hostess was very nice tho, we liked her.

First time dining here and it was amazing, we could not have been more impressed! We went during peak dinner hours and were seated right away. The hostess and waitress were both amazing- very polite and helpful without hovering. The waitress suggested great drinks and the food was delicious. We ordered the "Filetto di Francesca" (filet of beef tenderloin with demi, roasted potatoes, and veg). The beef was super tasty, juicy and SO tender and the demi glaze was to die for! The decor and setting of the restaurant was also beautiful. Overall very impressed and will likely be back again!

First time coming here the appearance of the restaurant was nice , the waiting staff and food were under par , the waiting staff didn’t care for my table it seemed didn’t show any interest and seemed annoyed we were there, the food was ok not the best I’ve had. If I were to Rate the experience and food out of ten it would be 6 Thank you but unfortunately won’t be returning.

I couldn't have had a better time, the food was great and affordable. The staff were pleasant and accommodating to our party of 14. They were also very knowledgeable about the wine. They recommended several different local wines that all paired well with the meals. At the end of the dinner, they provided a cab service to our destination, free of charge. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great evening.

My husband and I had been here before, he loves it, but I struggle to find something good to say about the dinner I had. I ordered the Margarita Pizza. I'd had it many other places over the years, thought it was a reliable choice. HORRIBLE. Does anyone remember the pizza in a box we used to make as kids, where the dough comes in a bag and you mix it up yourself? it reminded me of that. The sauce was paste-like and decidedly spicy for a simple Margarita, the cheese was tough mozz, in small rubber dobs. While our server was lovely, the lady who cleared the table didn't even ask why I was sending back a nearly intact dinner or why my response to taking some home was 'OH..NO'. Nobody noticed???? Good grief, hubby can come back on his golf trips, but he won't be back with me, especially since I picked up the tab for that birthday disaster. Nice waitress, the first one, lovely looking place, ok bruschetta, (though the best thing I EVER had there was the bruschetta with goat cheese and avocado, now gone from the menu) TERRIBLE PIZZA, THEY NEVER SHOULD HAVE SERVED IT. Far too much $ for far too little good food.

We were seated near a screaming toddler and they quickly moved us when we asked. The food was quite good. The appy was ok. Too much of a plain vinegar taste in the pickled veg on antipasto board. The chicken supreme was as beautiful as tasty and the gnocchi with the gorgonzola sauce was superb. Our server was fantastic. He was attentive but not hovering. Very good atmosphere in the restaurant as well.

The carpicco appetizer was good. But dinner was awful. We asked the waitress for recommendations, we took her recommendations. I got the chicken marsala, but I also let her know that I was leary, I didnt want it too sweet. She assured me that it wasn't that sweet. IT WAS. Horrible sweet. It tasted as if there was a cup of sugar in it. I let her know and they offered to remake it. Ew. I didnt want any of it. Manager came out, she only said "I'll tell the chef". Paid full price for my meals. The gnocchi tosi wasn't that great either. The gnocchi was a little too big, needed to be a little smaller. It was too much money for below par food, and lack of wanting to fix my meal properly, left a really bad taste. Don't go.

Carpaccio Italian owned and with a very good menu I love Ontario Niagara wines but I was disappointed by the glass selection for white and red Few and I say few Italian wines For the white you had a Pinot Grigio, that’s it. For the red 2 ( both general list wines) were are the Ripaso’s and Vernaccia’s. The choice by the bottle was much better. The point I’m making is that I done often alone and buying a bottle of Red and White is well, overdoing just to be satisfied. Overall great service, great atmosphere and food was delightful.

Bit disappointed with my experience here, came from out of town to spend the afternoon in the falls and then come here for a late dinner with a small group. I booked at 930PM reso based on their online time slot recommendation. We hit a bit of traffic coming there, arrived at 9:40, I figured bare minimum they would honour a 15 minute grace period. When we arrived and talked to the hostess she said the kitchen had closed. Said they could still serve salads lol. I would of gladly came earlier, you should not be taking reservations at the exact second you close the kitchen. Really wanted to try this place too.

Booked a patio reservation a night before for lunch for a friend’s birthday. The service was excellent. Food was amazing. Their tomato sauce on spaghetti tasted exactly like we had in Rome. Being vegetarians with vegan friends we were able to order items without meat/dairy. I had gnocchi which was outstanding. Spaghetti was really good as well. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for good Italian food.

Why have we never been here before!?? The food was fantastic- we haven't stopped talking about it and when we can go again. The stuffed chicken was delicious and the gnocchi we're top notch. We had wine and a sweet tart martini and ended our meal with a creme brulee. We've had many creme brulee as it's our go-to when we don't know what else to have. None are typically that memorable- this one was honestly one of the tastiest, creamiest creme brulee we've had. The service was also good but to be honest, the food was so good we didn't pay much attention to service. I know the staff was friendly, attentive but not pushy or rushed. Overall, we had a fantastic meal and look forward to going back again soon.

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because of good appetizers and drinks. The service was alright but all the meat dishes were overcooked! I had the pork, that was badly overcooked and I sent it back to get the lamb that was even worse! Who has lamb well done?? The manager was very unhelpful and rather than believing a paying customer, decided to ignore my call regarding the horrible food. Yes the reviews are high, but believe me, if you have an issue they will NOT help you out. Will not be back here EVER, and if you value your money, I would NOT recommend.

We had about a dozen people walk in from an event across the street. Most ordered an entrée and some had appies. I had the chicken parmigiana and was blown away at the flavour. It was cooked perfectly and very, very tasty. Fresh bread was also great. No complaints from anyone in our group. 4 stars just because one of the wait staff wasn't as warm as she could/should have been. The waiter and the "owner" (Scotsman) were awesome though. We recommend this place.

We also had the shrimp linguine pasta which was extremely bland and drowning in oil and butter. We changed it to a Penne arrabbiata which was slightly better but still nothing great. I understand things are just re opening, and I understand that take out never stands up to fresh out of the pan and that prices on food goes up, but this is terrible. I ordered 2 orders of chicken Parmigiano and 1 order of the spaghetti alfredo with chicken. I am a former employee of carpaccios, a chef, and I would never, ever serve food that I recieved. Dry, un seasoned, no cheese on the chicken parm, the alfredo barely filled a small bowl once I got home and it was 25 dollars with 4 small chunks of chicken..... Honestly I will never eat there again, and I will no longer tell people I used to work there, its embarrassing. If I could post a pick of what I recieved for 100 dollars I would but I can't.

The only reason I gave it a 4 star as opposed to 5 stars is because despite being promised free taxi service, our taxi driver still asked us for money afterwards. They might need to work that part out, but it was only $40 so it didn't really matter compared to how much we paid for dinner

They have even figured physical distancing in a very smart and wnginipus way. The service from entry to watering was over the top. Excellent and graceful. The food is the show stopper in this experience. The soup of the day to the salmon carpaccio to the chiken Parmigiano and the shrimp linguini...all of them were prepared and cooked to perfection. It there were 10 start here i will give them 20... Excellent location away from the tourist, great layout and food way beyond excpection. VERY DELICIOUS.

I fully recommend this restaurant if you want to be impressed. Food is fantastic. I ordered lamb. It was falling of the bone. White beets and roasted patatoes were delishes. Wine selection is good as well.

This place is amazing! I went this fall with six of my friends and I can't wait to return next year. I absolutely loved the Gnocchi Tifosi, the cream sauce was so flavourful and the Gnocchi was melt in your mouth, I couldn't stopped eating until there was notihng left. It was like nothing I'd ever had before. My friends had the fish special, the mushroom resotto, penne genovese, and the veal parmigana all were extremely pleased. Anyone that gave this restaurant a bad review may want to give this place a second shot. This place is a total gem, and I can't wait to go back again.

A friend and I visited today and it was an amazing experience. The venue is beautiful and we had the place all to ourselves. We had the calamari and the bruschetta as appetizers and they were both delicious. As entrees I chose the steak frites and she had the lamb risotto. Both were excellent. For dessert we had the bread pudding and it was simply amazing. I can't wait to visit again!

I went to Carpaccios with my coworkers for a Christmas get together December 17.2021. I haven’t been here in a few years but the food was just as amazing as I remember. I believe the owner came around to make sure everybody was having a good time and enjoying the food that was very nice to see. The only reason for my three star review is that as I was paying the waitress brought me a bill with three gin and sodas on it. I in fact only had two. I had ordered my first, she came shortly after I finished it and asked me if I would like another I said yes. The second drink was never brought over. Then she came by again and asked if I wanted another one and I said yes. This time the drink was brought over. At the end of the night she charged me for three drinks… Not an issue I told her there was only two that I had and she said she thought she brought three but she would correct it. Minutes later her male coworker came over to the table and spoke with me saying that he removed the third drink from my bill but that if I hadn’t received it wouldn’t have been put in the system. So more or less he was calling me a liar. I then proceeded to tell him that I understand once it’s put in through the system the bartender makes the drink and the servers supposed to bring the drink over however while I’m sure the drink was made it was never brought over. My coworkers on either side of me I’ll vouch for me and saying that they only saw me with two drinks. The male waiter and our waitress for the evening still continued to tell me that it wouldn’t of been put through the system if it wasn’t made but that they still took it off. The waitress then proceeded to tell me that she brought the third drink in behind me which in fact was not the third drink it was the second drink she never brought three drinks. I appreciate that they took the third drink off but I didn’t appreciate being accused of lying. I can afford the six dollars that it would’ve cost if I had gotten three drinks but I am not going to pay for a drink that I never got. Mistakes are made, We were a group of 19 people and the restaurant was busy,and I understand that but there’s no reason to accuse me of lying. That situation right there was enough to make me not want to go back to this restaurant ever again.

We came for dinner during our visit to the falls because of the positive reviews. It was a disappointing dinning experiance. I had the veal parm and my wife had steak. My veal was really bland with the only flavour coming through is the tomato Sauce. My wife's stake tastes burnt and her potates lumpy with again zero flavour. Nothing about the food was great and we left with most of our meal still on the plate.

Carpaccio Restaurant was recommended to us by our tour guide. From the moment we called for a reservation, until our dessert was finished, we received excellent service. Host was attentive and friendly. Made us feel very welcome. Food was delicious. 5 people in our party and we had a variety of dished from the Bruschetta with house-made mozzarella and balsamic pearls to the Fettuccine Amore to the mushroom risotto to the beef tenderloin to the Meat Lovers pizza. Everything was delicious. It was a little off the beaten path and out of the touristy area, which made us so happy! It was a quick 5 minute drive from our hotel. Dinner was topped off with a delicious salted caramel torte that was out of this world. So thankful to our tour guide for suggesting this hidden gem!

Very nice restaurant in Niagara falls with moderate prices, loved the food and the atmosphere, a perfect place to take a date or the family. The staff are outgoing and attentive, we were very happy with the service. If you are interested in a light lunch, they have a lot to offer, the ceaser salad was so good and well presented. At dinner, try the date night special, best deal in the falls and includes a bottle of wine. Cheers, enjoy.

Nice atmosphere but the food leaves a lot to be desired for. The beef Carpaccio was bland, the Margarita pizza was super dry with no cheese, and the lamb rissoto was like a soup. They definitely need improvement on the food. Also they need a better cocktail maker as the cocktails are super sweep as if they gave you koolaid with a little bit of alcohol.

My new husband and I chose to have our wedding reception at Carpaccio yesterday. They were more accommodating than I could of ever imagined. They booked us the largest room and made it private for us. They turned off the music and allowed us to bring in our own. The server Michelle was wonderful, kind, helpful and very friendly. The food was AMAZING. I would definitely recommend this restaurant without a second thought. Thank you all for making our day beyond wonderful.

Had a 515 res on Saturday. Arrived early and were seated immediately. Interior very nice. Hadn't been here in 10 years or so. Ordered arancini and bruschetta apps. Arancini good, bruschetta not so much. There was no sign of any balsamic glaze and the tomatoes weren't seasoned well. Toast bland. Have to dump tomatoes on bread-toast at the table. Mains were chicken parm and veal parm. Both dishes needed salt, especially the veal. No salt on table and unfortunately our server didn't come back and check on us in time to request salt. Service very good. Food average at best. We won't return.

We had a mista salad, it was tasty. My wife had the gnocchi cream sauce. I had Linguini with cream sauce. Both were amazing. Fresh and hot. The dessert was new York cheesecake. Came with fruit sauce with whipped cream and strawberries. Excellent tasting and sweet. Perfect for those that love cheesecake. Overall service was great and quick friendly people. Will go again before I leave Niagara Falls. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We come here every June and September for my parents anniversary and birthdays, food is always great, service is always unbelievable, Jimmy our waiter always takes care of us really good, I have brought groups here for pre bachelor party dinners and the restaurant has always accommodated us. Recommended to us by one of the Winery Tour Guides and will now be my go-to in Niagara Falls!! Started with Caprese Salad and then 8 oz Filetto Di Francesca, absolutely melt-in-your-mouth!!! My husband had a Beef Tenderloin Capaccio, again absolutely decadent, and then the chicken parm, done perfectly! Topped it off with local peaches in this to-die-for dessert that I believe is a seasonal special! Can't forget the service, spot on by everyone!! So very happy we had the opportunity to visit, will definitely come back and very soon!

I was looking forward to eating here as it is highly rated compared to other similar restaurants. The place is nice and the staff is very friendly. The service was speedy for our group of 7 people. However the food was a bit of a let down. The carpaccio and arancini starters were good but the pizzas were just OK.

It was walking distance from the hotel so we decided to go. Service was impeccable (Biagio I believe was his name. Didn't catch the hostess name but she was amazing as well). My mother and I shared a bottle of wine. She had lamb risotto and said it was the best risotto she's had. I had seafood spaghetti. It was loaded with lots of dif seafood and very tasty. My mom already has plans to visit again with her husband on a date night.

I was visiting from Texas and met an old sorority sister for dinner. The food was incredible with that home cooked taste. I had the veal parm and ordered 1 meatball to sample. My sis had the pasta and meatballs. No complaints from either of us. The price, for a Tourist area, was lower than expected. I recommend this place to friends and family often. I will definitely return and will be contacting regarding xmas gift certificates for my Canadian family and friends. Oh, and for you ladies who are neurotic, like me, regarding restroom facilities....these are A rated.

Had a patio lunch here, excellent food and service, I can't imagine what would the experience be if we are to sit inside instead of patio. Servers were attentive, promptly ask for needs at the same time not annoying and invasive. In this covid time a lot of restaurants claim they do more cleaning but so far this was the only one I actually see them spend time on cleaning the table top to bottom THROUGHLY. Strongly recommended.
