I have visited Vegolution for the 3 times now and their food never stops to amaze me. The food here is really amazing with all vegetarian options which is something amazing for a vegetarian like me. A comfy place to spend some time on a date or with your friends if you want to try something new. The only recommendation would be to add a few more beverage options in the menu. Can't wait to visit again to try something new.

Was looking for some place for vegetarian/vegan eats in Saint John & happily happened upon Vegolution. Food was all really delicious, decor is eclectic, funky & interesting, kitchen & wait staff were all super-friendly and attentive, even though the place was full. Smoked sweet potato fries (which we shared as an app) were amazing - the smoking gives a whole new dimension to one of my favourite sides. We had the veg/tofu curry & wild rhubarb salad - both very tasty. A beet/carrot cake for dessert was really yummy, the beets providing an interesting twist to the usual carrot cake. I’m a foodie & quite a good cook so I tend to be somewhat critical of restaurant meals that aren’t as good or better than I can make myself :) This place deserves a visit for sure and I’ll be back.

I told the server I didn't like it, but they would not change my dish, so ???? money wasted and I was hungry. All good though, I found food elsewhere.

Excellent service, diverse menu and great overall experience! Stopped in on a Saturday night during a trip to Saint John with my partner who is not at all vegetarian or adventurous with his diet. Our server, Steve gave us awesome suggestions and was super friendly. I had the vegan donair and my partner had the vegetarian poutine, we were both so happy with our meals! We split the carrot cake for dessert which was amazing. I definitely recommend stopping in to give it a try.

We loved everything about our dinner! We’re both vegan, and almost all of the menu is vegan, plus vegan wines. I loved the poutine, the seared tofu, and the broccoli dish. The beet cake afterwards was delicious too :) Definitely recommend!

3 Reasons why you need to try VEGolution • As someone who works on the road and is an avid foodie I must say when I visited VEGolution it made my heart and stomach full! I’ve been a vegetarian for about a year now which has not been easy, and this place knows how to accommodate. • 1. Atmosphere When you first walk in to this #1 rated restaurant you are bombarded with smells that make your mouth water. On top of that the place just looks earthy and cool! It has got a bunch of live plants and beautiful wooden seats that add to the environment leaving you feel like you’re almost in nature. • 2. Staff The whole kitchen staff is out in the open creating an even more open concept dining experience. They are super friendly and more then open to answer any of the questions you might have about the selection of food. The servers are well trained in helping you come up with a decision and are super knowledgeable. They even helped me pick out some cool local hikes in the area whilst I am staying in town. ABOVE AND BEYOND! • 3. FOOD Oh, my goodness where do I even start… There is a 100% Reason why VEGolution is the number one rated restaurant in New Brunswick the food here is incredible! If you are a vegan this place is for you and even if you’re not a vegan/vegetarian THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU! I have spent the last two nights Dining here and I have not been disappointed. On the first night I got the Vegan tofu Curry which was fantastic with beautifully seared tofu and fresh vegetables with a bed of curry sauce… YUM! Second night I got their in-house homemade cheeseburger with their award-winning poutine. The burger is made from brown rice and mushroom and it must be one of the best veggie burgers I have ever eaten. The Poutine… Well, let us just say you must go there to try it out because there just aren’t any words to describe it… • Located in the heart of Saint John’s, New Brunswick it is very easily at the top of list for must eats! Check it out for yourself!

Great place to eat, people are just plain awesome, the cozy ambiance is unique. I have been there a few times and food quality is always consistent = great, I have sent a lot of people there and all came back with only positive comments. my wife is from Europe and used to high standards in restaurants and she said it was the first restaurant in over 20 years in Canada that she could truly say she actually liked. Price are comparable to other restaurants of the same quality.

Fresh ingredients, amazing staff and food that wows is what makes vegolution a must stop. If you aren't getting the KFT (Kentucky fried tofu) on Wednesdays at lunch, you a damn fool! It's better than kfc and I always feel good about eating one because it's far healthier than actual kfc.

I've been a meat lover my whole life, and have only been trying vegan for the past week. We decided to try Vegolution to inspire me, and they did NOT disappoint! Tried the vegan nachos and "cheese", the poutine with tofu curds, the vegan donair, and vegetarian version of their burger. The nachos were ok, the sauce was more like a thick soup kind of like a potato puree but still good. The poutine was very good the fries are AMAZING. I'm super picky and I'm telling you these are the best fries in town, cooked in non GMO canola oil. I never would have known the tofu curds were not cheese, so good. The donair was tasty, but oh my oh my that burger! It was amazing! The bun is toasted to perfection, delicious sauces and you would never know it wasn't a beef patty. My boyfriend was shocked, honestly one of the best if not THE best burger in Saint John. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. They are pationate about their food. The restaurant is beautiful, and I love how they are environmentally concious. We will be going back and spreading the word!

My first veg restaurant. Very clean, ambiance casual and warm. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was great. We had ordered the mushroom appetizer, veggie burger, corn risotto, and the poutine. The mushroom with black garlic sauce was unique and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The veggie burger I thought was outstanding. The fries were a little over done for me. My first poutine which I can not compare it to others but the curd was really salty and again the fries seemed a little over cooked for me. Was ok but not my king of dish. Basically fries smothered with gravy and with salty curd balls. The corn chowder unfortunately did not come but we did not say anything as we had had way too much fries. We were pretty hungry. I wish they were open the next day, I would have gone back. Though the downer was the fries, they were just fries.

Found it by Googling Saint John Vegan. Most items are vegetarian but vegan options available. They also offer gluten free fare. Jaret was a super attentive server. I had vegetarian bruschetta and my partner opted for tomato soup and vegan nachos. Both were excellent. Menu changes often.

Went uptown to finally try VEGolution. We are AMAZED. The atmosphere, staff, location, beer, decor and the food (OMG, the FOOD) makes this my new favourite eatery. We were recommended the 'Vegan Nacho Cheese & Chips' and they did not disappoint. The Fake Steak was a perfect texture, taste and the hot sauce *drooooool* all the delicious eats were omni Husband approved. Having Jaret as our server was the cherry on top to make this a perfect restaurant experience. He was informative, knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming. Will definately be back!

Service was excellent, and the staff is extremely friendly! The risotto was divine! I also tried the burger, and I was somewhat afraid that it would taste like mushrooms (I am not a fan of those). To my surprise, it tasted delicious! It reminded me of a Big Mac ????! The carrot/beet cake was impressive, and I particularly enjoyed the cashew cream "frosting". I highly recommend!

My waitress Stacy also made my evening, knowing that I was new to the area and the restaurant, she made sure that I knew what I was ordering. We took our family for an outing last week to St. John for the day. We had big plans and all those plans fell through. We went to get sushi but everything was closed or takeout only. My wife, who is vegan, suggested we go to Vegolution. Begrudgingly, my father in law and I agreed to go. We sat down, nice decor. My 3 year old and newborn were as welcome as we were, which, as a chef I know isn’t always the case. Kids can be nuts but ours are very well behaved. Anyhow.. I ordered Sticky Soy bites as an app and the burger as an entree. So did my father in law. My wife ordered sweet fries and bruschetta. First things first... sticky soy bites... incredible. One of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten, the chef was even kind enough to tell me some of the ingredients in the sauce. The burger was mind blowing. Absolutely on point. Then the bruschetta... oh man... so good. Strawberry balsamic reduction and vegan parm as well. Service was 10/10. Food was 11/10. I really wish they were based in Moncton. Maybe one day. To cap this review off I would like to say that I’m not vegetarian or vegan. I really liked meat but this place left me satisfied for hours after and still dreaming of the sticky soy bites. 12/10 stars. Highly recommend.

Everything about my first lunch experience here was excellent, right down to the water! You can tell the staff enjoy working there and they know the menu. I ordered the burger, I have had many vegan burgers but this one took the crown. My Daughter had a poutine and Wife had a veggie bowl, we were all extreamly happy with our meals. My only complaint is the restaraunt is in Saint John not in my home town! Well done Vegolution!

My husband and I are visiting from British Columbia and we were looking for a vegan restaurant. Luckily we found Vegolution. They are a new restaurant only opened for 4 months now but I am sure they will become a roaring success. Keith and Sarah Broome are the owners/chef and the food is scrumptious. Our server/manager Selena Lindsay was very personable, helpful and very knowledgeable. We had a very pleasant experience making me wish I could put the whole place and people in my pocket to take home with me. Highly recommend Vegolution.

The cheese burger is delicious, but I also like to try the specials and the soup of the day to mix things up. The Seating is limited for groups larger than two, so keep that in mind if you are planning to stop in.

Although I am not a vegetarian or have dietary restrictions, I stopped in this restaurant with my son and his girlfriend. I will say that it is a nice place with great service. The menu is very good and stays true to the name of the restaurant. I had the Revolution Cheese Burger - it was pretty tasty. It was made from brown rice and mushrooms - an alternative to beef. Our table also had the Macaroni and Cheese, and the Vegan Donair. All meals were very good. My son was very impressed with the Vegan Blueberry Cheesecake. French press coffee was also a nice touch. My son also enjoyed the seving of Kombucha. Thanks.

The food is incredibly tasty. I had the poutine as a main with the Swedish "meat" balls an appetizer. Both were fantastic! The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. Service was a little slow, but the waitress and staff were great and it was of no fault of their own as it was just very busy. As this was during its first week of opening, I expect the restaurant to become the go to place in Saint John. I know for me, it already is my favorite restaurant in Saint John after such good food!

If you have the opportunity to dine here, be smart and order the corn fritters as an appetizer. I’d easily give my firstborn for another serving of those! Ashleigh was our server and I can easily say I have never experienced better service. With an incredibly inviting, warm atmosphere and staff to match, I think anyone would be hard pressed to find a better vegetarian dining experience anywhere in Canada.

The menu changes often, so I went twice in one week to get the poutine. It had the best vegetarian gravy I've had and the curds were breaded in a spicey batter and deep fried. Go now!!!

Wow! What a great experience. We tried many different dishes and every single one of them was on point. The flavor, mouthfeel, salt and acid balance, temperature, everything. It was delicious! I definitely will be coming back to try some more items we didn't have a chance to order as we were too full. The energy of the whole establishment has such positive vibes. The staff are incredibly friendly. The design is nice. As a carpenter I appreciated the use of live edge and natural wood products throughout. Bathrooms were clean and had a quaint interior design. I love the ceiling light fixtures and the wood shades! You can tell they are about their food and they know how to use all the ingredients. You can taste it all. Definitely some of the most balanced vegetarian foods I have tried.

Zero options for young children. No kids menu and they won't do half size orders. Like that's really hard to do with a pasta order. No juices either, unless you consider kombucha a kids juice...... I had the Donair, and it was meh. The tortilla wrap they used must have been on its last days. It was tough like leather.

The only vegetarian restaurant in Saint John is a gem! 90% of the menu is vegan according to the chef/owner. The quality of the food is second to none, as good as the best vegan restaurants in Toronto and Montreal! Beautifully presented and so delicious! The interior of the restaurant is stunning, especially with restored original stamped tin ceiling. Not to be missed for both visitors to and residents of Saint John.

Their take on classic dishes like Poutine are interesting to say the least, with shaved mushroom chips and deep fried cheese curds (if you don't want to go full vegan). I enjoyed my meal, the staff was extremely friendly and good mannered. The location itself has a great ambiance and decor. Would def recommend this spot to anyone who wants to try something new and fresh.

This restaurant is something special. The way they blend their spices and the unique ingredients they use make the food amazing. My partner and I both had the donair and I can hardly believe it is made of tofu. Quick, great service and all around a really good experience. Highly recommended.
