Fantastic experience last weekend! All of us had the Jalapeno Face burger of the month and it blew our minds it was so good. Customer service was polite, funny, and efficient despite the busy night and my bumbling nature regarding all of the vaccine checks. The atmosphere was great with an easy mix of music and a steady buzz of conversation. My wife enjoyed her margarita. Thanks for the great evening!

The service was so slow! We were doing a motorcycle ride and wanted to stop for a quick bite. It was not so quick. 2PM on a Monday and it took 1 hour. I had the cucumber jalapeño margarita. It was well balanced and delicious. They even had non alcoholic cocktails. We were glad we ordered chips and guac because the service was so slow. The guac tasted like it was store bought and not special. The tacos are super tiny. I was impressed with the Barbacoa taco. The lamb was braised nicely and went well with the rojo salsa. The camarón tacos went well with the mango habanero salsa. The waitress didn’t explain any of the sauces. The food was ok, but not enough to redeem for the bad service. We wouldn’t come back again.

Girlfriend says 5 stars for drinks and service, 4 for the tacos lacking a bit of flavor, personally I think it was 5 stars all around. So we will meet in the middle at 4.5 stars. Price is pretty good and yeah our servers were awesome. Music was great, Either way we will definitely be back to try more food. (She says more drinks)

Delicious but a bit overpriced in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised by the guacamole (flavour and the portion is a lot bigger than most places so that was nice) but for over $60 for 2 drinks and guacamole feels steep.

We have been coming here for the tacos since they opened many years ago. Excellent food, nice big patio right on Baker St., friendly staff. One of my favourite places to eat in Nelson!

Great food and service! All the food was made fresh and the serving sizes were filling! Churros were the best I've had outside of Mexico. We are only in Nelson 2 days but will be coming back before we leave !

This is a busy place and rightfully so. The service is excellent and the food does taste good as well. Good value. The only reason I did not give five stars is that most of the food one has to eat by hand and they don't give out cutlery. However I did see some dishes where they did get cutlery however for the most part it is served in small plates and is finger food.

Not bad, but not great. Best mexican fix in town, but don't get your hopes up if comparing to good street tacos in major cities. You will be disappointed. Tacos are a bit dry, light on filling, felt like the ingredients sat all day. Alcoholic menu is pretty bland home bar type drinks.

Terrible service. We has two small dogs we asked if we could take them on the patio & were told no. When we came back later to pick up our take out the were dogs on the patio. When we asked for a menu the host pointed to the smart phone icon & said Don't you have a smart phone! We had to ask for a paper menu & host grudgingly went to get one. The food was over priced & the request for a large tip when paying was outrageous. I will tip what I think is appropriate. I finally found a server who showed me how to apply the tip I wanted to give. I will not be back when I'm in town!

If you go hear you MUST try the chicken tinga enchiladas and the braised beef tacos. Staff were super friendly, food was quick, and it tasted HEAVENLY. All this while the restaurant was totally slammed with every table seated. Very impressive staff kudos to them!

Food was good here. It had a real Mexico flavour to them and felt authentic. The setup was reasonable but there was a fair bit of sun we had to deal with and the staff were really nice. The price was pretty high for the product, hence the lower review. I think it was probably the most expensive stop in Nelson. The margaritas were 15 dollars each. We will probably check out something different the next time we are in town.

Came in for Taco Tuesday - four tacos for the price of three. They are SO delicious. Really good mixtures of flavour and the salsas they give you on the side do not fail to spice things up. Fantastic service and the cocktail menu is nice.

Great cocktails, service and food. We just stopped in for a quick bite but we got lucky and got a patio table in the mid-October sun on a warm afternoon... perfect. The Caesar and Cucumber Jalepeno Margarita were excellent and the tacos were some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended.

Our server was good but the suggestion for food fell flat. We were suggested to try various tacos to share. After ordering some 7 of them I have to say the only thing worth trying again would be the patio and beer on tap. Surely not coming here again for food atleast.

Had an amazing experience here trying a couple different tacos. I had two of the veggie tacos and they were full of flavour. We were here early October and got to enjoy an awesome spot on the patio in the warm autumn sun.

I remember having a great meal here in the past, but unfortunately our last visit was not very good. Even though the staff is very friendly, the food itself was very disappointing. When we got there we asked if they have any vegan options - they said they have lots. In reality vegan options just meant removing any non-vegan items from the dishes - so we ended up with very plain tacos, plus the guacamole tasted store bought and not homemade. If you are vegan I would not recommend this place - there are so many ways to make delicious vegan food and this was not the case

Fantastic tacos & margaritas! My wife is from Mazatlán and I lived in Mexico 10 years and we can say these tacos are 100% authentic! The tacos are a little smaller, but they don’t skimp in the meat, and the salsas are fantastic! The margaritas are also just the perfect strength. Great service too from Lily! We will definitely be back whenever we visit Nelson!

Taco night was a great way to try several tacos and don't miss enjoying a margarita with your meal. I had the ginger cardamon margarita so much flavor. Tacos I tried the fish, shrimp, avocado and squash. The shrimp and the avocado were my favorites. Make sure you ask for hot sauce. Service was great.

Great place that was highly recommended to us by everyone who we talked to about Nelson. The breakfast menu was good but their daily special was killer, so always ask about that. They’re known for their margaritas, worth a try. Loved the tacos!

Great service and excellent tacos! Tuesday tacos means 4 for the price of 3. They aren't big but 4 is enough! Lots of beers, cocktails, and tequilas available. Great place for couples, highly recommend for authentic Mexican food.
