Amazing place. We spent an extraordinary time in this place! The food is so good, very well balance in every way. Let your self be guided by the chef inspirations!

Bastien Carrière

I really wish I could go eat there every night. What a wonderful Montreal gem. Everything was five stars from the service to the food. Kudos guy’s!

Robert Gillelan

The best restaurant meal I had all year! The level of menu innovation, seasonal dishes, fresh ingredients, and an artisan's whimsical understanding of presentation and the combination of flavors comes together for an excellent experience. The wait staff are totally professional and expertly paired wine to our food.

Hyun Cho

Cozy, trendy atmosphere and very fresh, and delightful foods. I like there use of various fresh vegetables, and efforts to make every tastes to come out from every ingredients. Also their staff are very kind, and tries to help their customers to enjoy every experiences.

Excellent! One of the best culinary experiences in Montreal right now!

Came here on a Sunday night after 8pm. The restaurant was packed, despite the street outside being deserted. We were seated at the bar, where we had a great view of the kitchen. The style of food I would describe as tapa-like. Almost all dishes were appetizer size. My wife and I had 4 appetizer/main dishes between the 2 of us, but we were not that hungry. It probably wouldn't have been enough normally. We started with the Crab and Lobster Sandwich, and Crab Volcano. They were both warm appetizer dishes, and both outstanding dishes that highlighted the freshness of the crab. Our next dish was Grilled Brussel Sprouts, was I thought was a bit over-grilled, such that the bitterness overpowered the other tastes. Our last main dish was Bone Marrow, which was served like a salad on the bone, with chunks of marrow. The dish was presented nicely, but I thought it felt like many disparate pieces thrown together, such that the main theme was a bit lost. Finally we had an off-the-menu dessert---Tsunami. It was an interesting berry compote with a piece of biscuit, just a bit too sour for me. Service was attentive. The staff changed our cutlery and plate after every dish. The whole atmosphere was hip and party-like. There's a surprise for you if you celebrate an occasion. Just don't come here if you dislike loud music.

The best meal I've ever had. If this place doesn't have two Michelin stars in a couple years then I don't know what I'll do. Tasting menu was spot on, ambience great, and the staff genuinely appear to love working here.

Andrew Stultz

Great casual place we a reasonable tasting menu. Went with 9 guys and we were pleasantly full. We got the fish tartar (had pieces of popcorn which was really interesting), deep fried fish, bone marrow with pieces of venison and charred brussel sprouts along with two desserts. Excellent meal!

Gustavo Soberanis

Great to be back. Lively ambiance, great food, felt like they had never closed. Great job at trying to make it feel like all was business as usual.

Philip M

Fantastic evening of dining and hospitality. Cusine extraordinaire - ambiance - des gens très sympathique. Merci - thanks for the journey with my taste buds!

William Robinson

The decor is amazing and the time is really nice. The food has a lot of great ideas. Unfortunately, we felt there were a whole bunch of bad ideas. Normally, we would be okay with buying lots of dishes and experimenting, but we felt the cost didn't match the failure rate.

Alessandra Possamai

Probably the best service I’ve ever experienced. All the staff was super kind, helpful, and great to chat with. Went here for my birthday & the whole restaurant celebrates you as a cannon ball with a sparkler is brought to your table. The food was phenomenal and truly unique. We will be back.

TP T

The service was great. The food was good but nothing we have seen before and it surely doesn’t worth the price. Razor claims was 20$ for TWO. We can get the same quality not as well presented with the very very similar Asian flavor for about 10 razor claims in Chinatown for the about the same price. The best thing I ate here was the Milles feuilles au Ananas. Which was 5/5

Kyle Sheldrick

Lots of laughs combined with amazing food! Portions: price make the sharing menu a no brainer. Jean Francois (Chad)took care of us tonight …. Bravo to the passion and care you take in your work!

Andrew

Unreal, like theatre and food, very nice restaurant and fun decor. Very nice playlist and great service very knowledgeable and bilingual. Merci! 6 stars!

Maria Teresa Vélez

Cool place. Great food

Ron F

It was an absolute delight. The food, the service and the pace were all beyond my expectation. Prices were on par with what you would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. The attention to meticulous detail with every dish is a true testament of their culinary passion. Every plate landed on our table like a Monet. Just a splash of color and flavors that hit all our senses. I look forward to be back again. Bravo

Julia K.

Very friendly service Fantastic food Jovial environment Great for quaint birthdays Fun yet fancy!

Mike Silas

The good: really sharp design, good service, tasty food. The bad: portions are tiny for what you pay. It would take a grown man 6 to 8 plates of 15 to 20$ a pop. So def on the very expensive side. Be warned. Also found some weird sediment in my beer but I can't fault them for that.

tai chang

This resto earned its place as one of the top restaurants in Canada and I can see why. The food is magnificent and the service is too.

Petra Mueller

Went with a friend to try the wine pairing with a desert ... and it was a joyful, fun, delicious and really special experience at a doable price , 35$ for two before tax and tip. We sat at the bar and the waitress was gracious and knowledgeable, with full command of the extensive desert menu . We lingered at the bar and felt welcomed and appreciated. And the Alsatian white wine and mountain of raspberry delight were delicious on their own but surprisingly even better as a pairing . Highly recomended .

The environment has a mix of Boston meets France to the Magical world. The food has a unique signature. Every plate had a interesting texture. To explain it here would be too hard. The service is top, the place has a great feel and I do highly recommend it with many friends all at once !

Francis Harvey

Truly inventive cuisine. They manage to bring the best out everything they touch. Cooked urchin was disappointing though the iodine was too present and the prune cake was a little to bland. The atmosphere was great. A Montreal gem.

Sophie Bélanger

Service was amazing, we were offered a perfect table to fit our stroller, everyone in the staff was happy to see out 2 month old! Food is different in a good way, lots of seafood, fish, offals. Presentation inventive. Overall wow!

Prince Vegeta

For the price of the sharing menu, I think it's reasonable. You get alot of different plates, they're small but you'll be full towards the end..unless you really eat a lot. The dishes bounced between good to pretty average. There were some dishes that looks like they took some time and thought into putting together, but then with certain plates, it seem like they just slapped together without thought. The music in this place is honestly too loud though,. At one point, I had a headache from all the sound.

Came here after my graduation for dinner with my family. My parents were very familiar with the chef and the restaurant as it has been featured in many articles and radio shows. The concept is eccentric. The decor is unassuming at first but once you sit down you realize "oh. So that was an Elmo plushie sitting alone at that table over there. There's a makeshift air plane on the fan and an upside down dollhouse on the ceiling." It's very entertaining to try to spot all the Easter eggs. The menu is also very out there. Portions are bigger than an entree but smaller than tapas. It's meant to be shared and for four people, we were told to order around 8-10 dishes. My parents went for the tasting menu which is $85/person. I went with the lamb tartar, the Caesar salad, and the Creton Big Mac (menu of the day). My sister got the lamb navarin and the cheese mushrooms. The food is well presented and the service is impeccable. The servers really know their stuff. The attention to detail impressed us all. My parents said the wines they chose to pair with their meal was excellent. On my end I think some meals were a hit and some were misses. I really loved the tartares, just wish there was more of it. The popcorn and tuna was the standout. Absolutely delicious. My Caesar salad was huge but it was lots of assorted vegetables and the sauce was a bit too sharp for my taste. The creton Big Mac wasn't at all what I was expecting. It was supposed to be a toast with creton reinvented but it was tiny and didn't taste like anything. My sisters lamb was amazing would recommend. My parents also got some fish and it was great too. For desserts we shared a tartatin, a puff with blueberry cream, some dark chocolate pie mousse thing, and some ice cream. Again the desserts were hit or miss. Didn't have any particular standout but the puff was pretty good. What really sets this place apart is the service. In my opinion that's what you're paying for. And then you're paying for a unique menu with out of the box textures and flavours. As well as an ambiance that's unlike any other. It was a full house on a Monday night despite the construction on st Hubert! That's saying something.

I recommend the share menu, super tasty. However, be prepared for the noise, cant talk properky without screaming.

François Edger- Sauvé

Food was good, with the reputation of the restaurant I thought I would be blown away, it was not the case. The fresh lobster and crab salad was delightful, the fried shrimp sandwich was amazing, the pasta where a bit blur, the sauce was not thick and a bit disappointing. The oyster where good and fresh, mignonette on point. I finished with the desert tasting menu, there again, I thought it would be a swirls of flavors and texture, simple and no wow factor. Over all I left still hungry. Go for the experience, the decor and share a few plates with friends worth the try.

Lyusil Shubaralyan

What an interesting discovery! Eclectic fusion cuisine situated unexpectedly on Saint Hubert Street. Great atmosphere and excellent service. The flavors were unique and definitely felt like an explosion. The presentation of the dishes was pure art. The only plate I didn't enjoy at all was the desert. The oysters were not the best. Also, the musical background was not appropriate at all for the ambience. Except for those things, I loved the Shrimps Escabeche and the Terrine de Fois Gras. The Duck Bone Marrow was outstanding, truly exceptional. Overall, an absolutely incredible and innovative culinary experience!

Hanna Aberin

Food is above average. There were some dishes that you either love or hate. Efficient service, although loud. A bit on the pricier side. Good place for special occasions. Will be back to try other dishes!

Alexandre Leclerc

One of the best restaurant in Montreal. The creativity and ingenuity of each of the servings is quite impressive. The freshness of the food as well as the originality of each plate makes you want more. I definitely recommend to go and enjoy the experience, you will not regret it.

John Maiorano

Good service, nice atmosphere, friendly staff that was very helpful but the food didn't do it for me. Small portions but creative menu. I would try again but I'm a picky eater so probably it's just me.

Priscilia Enlow

Amazing restaurant in every way I been a few times and it’s always an a great experience! Food service and ambiance and perfect for a good night! Highly recommended!!! Hidden gem in Montreal

Jessica Rodrigues-Cerqueira

Delicious restaurant, Brussel sprouts are a must. Love what they do for people who are celebrating their birthday! They can also do a tasting menu for groups which is definitely worth it.

Lara Z

Went twice and both times food was great. The menu is so varied that anyone can be happy. Original and flavourful

Louis Messier

Amazing restaurant with great service and incredible food. Changing menu gives good reasons to keep coming back. One of Montreal's best!

Goutam Mukherjee

came here to celebrate our son's birthday. Great food, excellent service. The ingredients in the different dishes are well balanced and fresh. Those that are more on the creamy side are just right, not overly rich. We had a great time although the music was a tad loud.

Ruhan R

Elegant space, thoughtful menu lined with local ingredients and a an atmosphere that balances itself upon sophistication & fun. Some neat decor, my personal favourite being the upside-down rotating house. Service was fabulous, reccomend coming here for a birthday so you can see the odd but joyful candles they have in store. Definitely worth checking out this restaurant.

Maria

Nice restaurant with good food, a little pricy (tasting menu and good wine was about $130 per person with tips). They celebrate birthdays with flare and pageantry ????

In summary: amazing food but abysmal service by our main server. After some deliberation, we settled on à la carte dining. The lobster and bone marrow, the tomato soup, and the gnocchi with chanterelles were the shining stars of dinner. Where Toqué relies on the freshness of its raw ingredients, Montreal Plaza plays with bold flavours. Our main server (Alexandre) was by far the weakest part of the meal -- countless times throughout the meal, we tried to get his attention without success. We had prolonged lulls waiting simply for our empty dishes to be taken away and waited almost 30 mins after finishing our main course before having to ask for a dessert menu. Other servers in the restaurant saw the negligence and helped with service after seeing our many failed attempts at getting Alexandre's attention. Thank you to the auxiliary staff for rescueing this evening from being an absolute disaster. Overall: food - 9/10, main service - 2/10. Simply put, if you want great food with perfect service, we recommend Toqué. If you're looking for a more affordable option and don't care about the service portion as much, Montreal Plaza is your best bet.

Michelle Vo

Casually having dinner while making eye contact and realizing P!nk is in the house with her bodyguard few tables away from us. Then our waitress ends up telling me that we are currently having 3 celebrities at Montréal Plaza like it’s not biggie. In all honesty the reason why I am a reoccurring client at Montreal Plaza is because this is definitely a fine dining and perfect date experience without having to be pretentious. Is this french cuisine? Nouveau cuisine? What I can confirm is that they strive on delivery quality local product with a modern twist. Montreal Plaza is definitely high up there in my list of “must try in Montreal”.

Caleb Watt

Great food, with amazing flavors, however it is fine dining with tiny portions. The boudin noir (black sausage, or blood sausage) is amazing in both flavor and velvety texture. I could do with portions being twice as large.

Philippe Nguyen

I've been here twice, and both times, I've had one of the better meals I ever ate in Montreal. The seasonal menu is phenomenal. The local and fresh ingredients in every dish are beautifully highlighted and the cocktail/wine list is on par with the food. Strongly recommend Montreal Plaza.

Scott U

Great experience at Montreal Plaza! From the warm, sophisticated, whimsical atmosphere to the flawlessly executed dishes, everything was amazing. The service was a bit scattered but still very professional and pleasant. The real star being the food of course. Everything was light, perfectly balanced and just worked exceedingly well.

Calum Noade

Without a doubt one of the best meals I've ever had. Restaurant interior is wonderful, unique without being flashy and overdone. Service was fantastic. The food was just astounding. Amazing presentation, and absolutely fantastic flavours. Truly talented chefs. And somehow it wasn't even expensive. 5/5, will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.

Benjamin Phan

This is a truly beautiful experience, the place is super nice and beautiful. The staff is really nice and kind, one of the best services I got in a restaurant. Foods is incredible and a real taste experience.

Jen Lampton

Fantastic food, good wine. tell them it's your birthday for something sparkly. (I think every table but ours had a birthday the night we were there - there's no way they were all legit!)

Wendy E-D

Have your birthday there - highly memorable! Food: good, especially fish and sea food. Service: exceptional, fast, attentive all your needs and details. Ambiance: French, classy with a not so serious vibe.

Trev’s Table

Wow was I ever surprised when I came to eat here. A Freind recommended this restaurant to me and I didn’t know what to expect. The food was actually amazing and so was the service. Really cool concept too

Misha Jackson

Incredible dining experience - a must-go-to for birthdays. Our waiter Xavier took incredible care of us and recommended an unreal bottle of wine to pair with our dinner. The wine list is extravagant. Definitely understand the high rating amongst Canadian restaurants. Thank you!

Alana Byer

The menu seemed vague and I didn't know what to choose so we decided to take the tasting menu. It was amaaazzing!!! Had I ordered on my own I never would have tried half of the things I ate. Each dish was so elaborately composed that I have a hard time explaining what I ate. All I can say is that it was suprisingly original and the taste was soooo there.

Xi Fan Ruan

Great ambiance food spectstion was met

A Y

Exquisite French fusion cuisine. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was outstanding. The restaurant décor is contemporary and full of character. Highly recommend this ranked as Canada's #6 best restaurant in 2018.

Charles Tatossian

Disappointed. The dishes lack originality and flavor. The prices are high. The menu is confusing.

Béa Trice

The menu was delicious and authentic. I love the concept of spontaneity. The food is not your everyday type of meal. I love the mixture of flavor they put in together. The service as well is very good. The waiters and buss boys are attentive and polite. I enjoyed this place very much.

Guillaume Roussellet

Great experience with the 4 course menu! Very original plates and probably the best dessert I ever ate. Simple combination of blueberry ice cream, meringue, and fluffy creamed yoghurt. À must try!

Max

You are in some of the best culinary hands in the world, with people who love what they do, love great food, great drinks, have a passion for amazing service and a good time. Some of the best dishes I have ever tasted were at Plaza, knowing the socks right off of plenty of Michelin stars. True that the food is not consistently at that level, but when you find that one plate... ????

Leo Charbonneau

First and foremost, this is a tapas restaurant intended for small plates to be shared. Now with that said, book a reservation a few days in advance as this unique restaurant is always busy. Expect to spend between 2-3 hours here as the menu is simple yet mysterious at the same time which allows you to engage with the server who is amazing at explaining the entire menu from A-Z. A good portion for 2 people if you would like dessert (save room for dessert) is about 4-5 plates. This is the 2nd time my girlfriend and I have gone here and it's one of the restaurants that we will continue coming back to from time to time due to the fun nature of the establishment created by the knowledgeable staff along with the crazy birthday antics. A mon avis, the music could be a little quieter to make the ease of conversation more pleasant but other than that, no complaints. The establishment is almost like an old plantation house where there's open seating in the main room and then small rooms with a few tables in each off of that, each uniquely decorated. They have the staple menu and then sections that change from time to time as well as day to day so dishes are always new and rotating to keep things interesting. We ordered 2 cocktails, who's names escape me at the moment, but we both had refreshing gin drinks, mine with cucumber and herb liqueur and hers with ungava and a Québec aperitif. We then shared the tartare de poisson avec popcorn, maïs+beurre, which was an émulsion, both very delicious. We also had the legumes+lardo where the legumes were delicious in robust flavor but the lard just wasn't for us. Couteaux Chinatown was next which were razor clams in a peanut sauce which were tasty and something I had not eaten before. We then had the Volcan de Homard which was another emulsion on top of a delicious lobster mixture, our favorite and then finished with the os a la moelle which was cover with legumes, filet and calamar. We found too much going on in this dish with all the flavors and textures and meats. Everything separated was good but we would have preferred the os a la moelle by itself. This also left us with no room for dessert. It's an amazing place, overall, to try new and innovative dishes in a very unique environment which was put together by, I believe, 7 renowned Montreal chefs.

Yiting H

One of the best restaurants in Montreal for sure! Their menu is innovate, and the tastes of the dishes are full of different surprises. The atmosphere is also very lively and lots of birthday celebration here

Claire P.R.

Fantastic meal in so many ways: flavors, drinks, service, ambiance, decor. Really everything was delicious, creative and surprising. The desserts were perfect too! Special mention for the Aperol Spritz!

Frank Jiang

This place is one of the most innovative and amazing culinary experiences I've had to date. The food presented here isn't just a dish, but also a work of art in its presentation, creativity and culinary skill. The flavors combine together in the most harmonious ways, giving you not only an enjoyable meal, but also an experience you can enjoy and savor. The food is well made, well plated and is highly recommended.

Stephania

This restaurant never disappoints, the food is always consistent, the ingredients are fresh and the staff is on point. Their signature dishes are a must, the brussel sprout, salad and cavatelli. The vibe here is great, I would definitely recommend making a reservation as they are constantly packed.

Gregg Kapuscinski

Our hotel concierge Marc Antoine from Le Petit Hotel recommended this restaurant and we're very happy he did. Excellent food, relaxed vibe, we felt like family immediately and felt very well taken care of. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back when back in Montreal!

Emilie De Carufel

Wow! The food is amazing, worth every penny! Ambiance super friendly, service is great, staff is cool, makes it so that even customer are in a great mood and talk to each other. I have never been to a place like that. I recommend to anyone

Elio Taverna

Very good service no issues there, great ambiance and original 2 thumbs up, staff very friendly and polite. All my friends loved the place, but it's really over priced! Very small and non elaborate meals for $$$$ what's the hype? Like small portion of fish for $31 or 2 tiny brochettes for $20 or again meat plateau for 2 $56 with some small quantity easy non elaborate meat to cook & produce, seriously! I have tried other hyped places with better food and more elaborate worth a visit costing a lot less.

Bill Graham

An absolutely fabulous restaurant — creative dishes beautifully prepared, first rate wine list and great staff. Go for the tasting menu if you can. But don’t go for quiet conversation — it is loud.

Vladimir Todorov

All dishes are art of pieces with an explosion of flavors. The service is amazing. Very good wine selection. The only thing is the background music is not suitable to the restaurant vibe.

Janothan Michael

One of the best culinary journeys I have been taken through. Delicious food, amazing hospitality and amazing service. Worth every penny!

Ian M

Food was very tasty (4.5 or 4.6 out of 5). Portion sizes are on the smaller side. Service was very good. Atmosphere was very nice (upscale/modern yet funky/wacky). Definitely a spot worth going back to.

Megan Molok

This place exceeded our expectations, everything was made so thoughtfully. The service was great, there was never not a time when my glass wasn’t full. My favorite dish was the tomato, it was out of this world with tuna and the cod salad was so refreshing even with the fried fish. I will definitely be returning next time I am in Montreal and be dreaming of the tomato until then ????.

Thomas T

Montreal Plaza is a trendy, cozy and beautiful restaurant. However, it is the type of restaurant that makes you wonder... how did this restaurant end up #6 in Canada. Nothing wrong with being one of the top restaurants in the country, but with such rank comes great expectations. I am definitely disappointed. This one just cannot compare to the likes of Scaramouche or Kissa Tanto. Maybe I came during the wrong season. Expect small portion, it is a tapas style restaurant. As you share the plate, expect to get between 5-7 for two people. Price range is around 13-25$. On the other hand, the drinks are cheap and their bar is beautiful!! For me and my partner, the food was a hit or miss, but I wasn't amazed by any of our picks to be quite honest. We both walked away thinking the food lacked flavours. By the way, the service in the place is definitely amazing. Everything they did was right. I cannot complaint about the service staff. From the second we walked in up to our leaves, the service was outstanding. I was blown away in this category. Therefore, I could argue that it is a well-designed restaurant that is charming and has a vibrant environment. It is a restaurant that offers sublime service and deserves this recognition. Nonetheless, it is place I would rather have a drink than to eat as the food is really a hit or miss. I am sorry, I really dislike playing Russian roulette with my food.

Franco Cinanca

I don't know what all the buzz is about this place. Loud, stuck to their group menu, strange wines, frozen fruit in my dessert. Under cooked chicken; not just a bit either. Not impressed for this price level; easily $150/person tax & tip in..

Lia Cerelli

Incredible experience will definitely be back!

Catherine Frantzeskos

Amazing and unique !! Staff is attentive and friendly. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Ross Carrothers

Got the tasting menu here. Interesting that they bring two dishes at once, maybe this speeds things up time wise but I would have preferred one at a time I think. The salmon dish was a bit too oily, other than that everything was very delicious.

Suhan Li

Creative and inventive food without feeling pretentious or stuffy. Seasonal dishes were great and even had visual Christmas aspects included which made us laugh.

Ryan Burns

The meal was ruined by the rudeness of the manager at the end. They tried to charge my credit card in USD (using dynamic currency conversion) without asking me. When I told them I didn't want that and wanted to be charged in CAD, they argued with me that it was the same thing. Eventually the manager tried to process a refund and run the card again, but the whole time kept rudely arguing that it was the same thing. On top of that, when I got home and checked my credit card, they had messed up the refund, so the initial charge was only a partial one. I sure hope the tip I left went to the wait staff only and not to the manager.

T Huynh

We came here to celebrate our son's birthday. Great food, excellent service. The ingredients in the different dishes are well balanced and fresh. Those that are more on the creamy side are just right, not overly rich. We had a great time although the music was a tad loud.

Rhonda Sherman

Youthful and joyous place. If it's your birthday, this is the place to be with friends. We did the tasting menu and it was a surprisingly light and fresh. A lot of seafood and salad options instead of heavy, hearty dishes.

Emma

Simply an amazing night at Montreal plaza. A must try.

Rada Chatila

We had guest for dinner on a Sunday evening, and despite the fact that thefood was good, the overall experience was very disappointingdue to the high level of noise, which prevented a normal conversation. The music was too loud, and the numerous birthday celebrations made impossible to enjoy the food. We could believe that we were at a McDonald, with all these birthday parties. We will never go back there again.

Trina sawyer

Fantastic food! Great atmosphere and service, would go again.

David Washington

Amazing food experience, comfy atmosphere, great hosts and delicious food

Laura Limosani

M’y husband and I went to Montreal Plaza on July 20, 2019 with another couple and we all were utterly disappointed. First and foremost, the restaurant is chaotic. The music was blaring so much that we had to yell at our friends in order to communicate. The waiter was pleasant but was so sloppy in pouring the wine. When he poured the first glass,he left so many wine spots on the nice white tablecloth and continued to leave more as he poured the other glasses. We had informed the hostess that it was our wedding anniversary but our occasion was totally ignored. The food was good but we could not appreciate the experience as we all had headaches at the end of the evening and couldn’t wait to leave. It certainly did not merit the $280 per couple charge!!

Bill Pai

Startlingly innovative, memorable dining experience. A must-try for those who enjoy cutting-edge cuisine. The desserts in particular are stunning.

Derek Valleau

Truly one of the most enjoyable and entertaining dining experiences ever!

Laurianne Dusablon

First of, the fish tartar with popcorn is to die for. We went for the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Every course was delicious. The place is a little funky, and some of the plating too, for those who like "out of the ordinary" things.

Evens Bonègre

Awesome foodie experience at Montréal Plaza. Everything was impeccable, from the welcoming, the interaction with the decor and the exit. Don't go there expecting a classical steak or burger, but expect a food journey and a mind blowing event!

Alexandre Poirier

Amazing food. Expect to pay 100-150 at least.

Carolyn Allen

I absolutely loved the food they brought us at this restaurant. It had been awhile I wanted to try it out and I was not disappointed at all. I ordered the discovery menu; I had tartar with popcorn which was very new and like super good for me. Then along comes the Marceau tempura and egg and truffles. I was very amazed with all their tastes and creativity already! The main course was some roasted bourgot and fried os à la moelle. The os was so good and juicy and tasty I could have eaten that all night. The restaurant was super accommodating since I’m not a super dessert person, I asked for a cheese plate to finish and they sent me the best little plate of cheese decorated with dinosaurs and Whales and I just loved it! Along with all the wine they paired up with my food, I’m not even going to hesitate. I WILL be back

commonfan

Food was good, but no real description of the plate and waiters are too busy to describe it properly.. Salmon tartare was a joke, a small munchkin size, same for the foie gras... Service was bad.. they have turns so we had to leave at 8:45... and when we arrive at 6:15, the waiter didn't come to take our order until 7 except for drinks, and after that, we were rush at the end. We were starving since its been a hour, so we ask for bread which they forgot and I counldnt get ahold on anyone... they gave the bread at the same time as the appetizer as if they didn't forget it, but whats the point... Although the server was nice, it was hard to find him if I needed anything, so be sure to ask everything you need when hes there. overall, food was good depending on what you order, but I wont come back..

sebastian bach

One thing separated this place from all the other Montreal restaurants on this visit was the friendly, yet professional, and great attentiveness of the service staff. As soon as we were shown to our seats, we were introduced to the servers and owner?/manager? introduced himself at the start of our meal to quickly ask if we had any questions regarding the menu. At the end he stopped by to ask our opinion of the whole experience. The place was busy, yet you were served timely and with care. The seating arrangement is a bit tight; you are very well aware of the neighbouring conversation. Meal was as good as expected. Since the rating was high, I had high expectations. But nothing surprising or unique. Well, good service trumps all for me. So 5 stars are for their attentiveness.

Allan Chiu

The entire menu is creative and each plate has lots of texture. Beautifully plated, each dish uses a lot of herbs. Mainly relies on sauces for taste but definitely worth the try. Must try for a gastronomic experience.

Daniela Zirizzotti

Fun experience! Love the ambiance. It wasn't pretentious and dimly lit. Very light and airy. The food was delicious! Great experience.

Éric Hardy

Wow. Great food. I definitely ate too much. We had the tasting menu and everything was delicious. Audacious mixes as well. Very pleasant evening.

Colin Taillefer

Always great service, amazing food, and one of the best places for a memorable meal in the city! We had children with us and the staff were quick to let us know food options for them and brought over crayons and paper right away! Thanks for yet again an incredible evening!

Ryan Lister

Real nice. Great creative atmosphere serving very approachable, tasty food! Definitely a spot to celebrate a birthday!!

Chantal Bailey

A must when visiting the area. Always amazing food with a fun ambiance. One of my favourite places.

Philippe

Amazing food and service, we took 5 plates for 2 persons and it was perfect. Good drinks also A++++

Not worth the hype...and certainly not worth 280$ for 2 people!!! -When I entered I told the waiter its my bf’s birthday and it was totally ignored. -At the end of the meal my bf ordered Latte and it was forgotten he had to remind the server (To be fair he removed it from the bill) - When we request the bill they gave up the bill of the table behind us luckily I always double verify -We picked the 4 servings per person menu, none were memorable, all were cheap ingredients thinly sliced veggies and fruits with fried, bbqed, and raw fish, it was alllll fish!!! I really wanted this restaurant to be soooooo special as the internet claims, but it sadly was very disappointing ...
