Well dressed seasonal dishes on a lovely rooftop. The menu is not super intuitive, but clarifications can be given. Overall the food was good, and well presented. The restaurant is really understaffed so they have some difficulties to keep up. Ordered a piglet, but got the fish dish, waiting times were significant but it is not because of the staff, they just have a lack of it. Therefor, not 5, but 4*.

Interesting, but not necessarily tasty. Went for 'Passer Le Tablier" 8 course tasting menu, and left unimpressed. Of the 8 dishes, only one stood out (the warm oyster with chlorophyll and lace tiles; it tasted like an entire walk on the beach). Besides that the flavours were unbalanced and underwhelming. While very creative in the ingredients, everything culminated into a dull, celery and mushroom flavoured experience that did not satisfy. Beyond all of that, the service was incredibly attentive, informative and hospitable with educated and colorful descriptions of the menu. Quick on drinks, always keeping water topped up and clearing old plates as soon as they were finished. The drinks were good. Labo Culinaire is simply alright, and not really worth the price.

This is an amazing bar and restaurant that is all about fresh ingredients and taste. In an amazing setting, you can sit and see the setting sun change the nature of Montréal! It is a food lab so expect some experimentation... and everything we had was amazing. Great food, great service and great atmosphere! Loved it!

By far the worst resto i been. The dishes are average at best, prepared by 2 young kids who looked like they just started yesterday. The place had zero ambiance for a Saturday night and felt like an empty abandoned building. The kicker is the prices they charge for these mediocre dishes which is highway robbery....Moral of the story, save your hard earned money and go just about anywhere else.

Un pâté en croûte avec ce que l'on croit du boudin, même constat. Un petit peu de jambon donc nous ignorons tout. Bref vraiment déçue, j'y retournerai quand même, car je sais que les fois se suivent mais ne se ressemblent pas.

Farm to table is a start in describing this unique restaurant (they have a rooftop garden). Seasonal, well balanced and interesting food awaits you here. They serve omnivore items and have clearly marked gluten free, vegetarian and vegan items. They made a vegan dessert for us on request. An interesting cocktail menu rounds out the offerings. Open terrace, large dining area in a very cool building.

We did the tasting menu. The food was really good, but the service was a little slow, perhaps exacerbated by the fact that the evening got colder as it drew on, and we were outside. For some reason, the waitress also couldn't tell us what was on the tasting menu veggie we ordered it. The venue was really cool though; I'd come back for a drink.

Food was absolutely perfect - had the Mezze plate, Arctic char and the rhubarb cake. Probably the best grilled aubergine and hummus I ever had... It's worth trying for the view and the food! The drinks were good but not great (too much ice/water in old fashioned - for a ~$13 drink I'd expect it to be spot on). Losing 1 star because it's quite pricy and the service was really slow.

This restaurant is at the top of La SAT. It's a very neat place and food has always been great. They have theme menus that change every month and I have never been disappointed. They also have a very cool terrasse that you can enjoy during the summer. They've been putting a tent during winter outside with mulled wine amongst other drinks, but I don't know if they'll keep doing that.

Very interesting food. Was kinda cold inside since it was emptyish early on a cold Tuesday night in February. There weren't many vegetarian options when we went but the menu does change. The portions weren't "American size" but they were enough. I recommend getting an appetizer if your hungry and it's probably worth trying out the different things here.

We took the plate mezze for 4 ($ 28), but in my opinion, it was more for 2 than for 4 people, so a little skinny for 4 and a little expensive for what it is. They offer wine, cocktails and organic beer from Brasserie Beau's (Vankleek Hill / Ontario). Fast service. Price a little expensive. Ils proposent du vin, cocktails mais aussi des bières biologiques de la Brasserie Beau's (Vankleek Hill/Ontario). Service rapide. Prix un peu cher. Had a blast at Labo Culinaire. This is a great spot with a nice atmosphere. The quality of the food as well as the presentation were great. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something a little out of the ordinary. Apparently they change their menu quite often too... Will definitely go back next time I'm in Montreal.

The duck heart is cooked properly but it clearly tastes "the organ", no preparation to embellish the dish or even make it better ... I put two stars because the cocktails are good, small but good. En gros c'est un ceviche de poisson blanc et une vinaigrette... le jus de moule fumé est absolument INEXISTANT ! Le coeur de canard est cuit comme il faut mais ça goûte clairement "l'organe", aucune préparation pour embellir le plat ou même le rendre meilleur... Je met deux étoiles car les cocktails sont bons, petits mais bons.

Went for a semi-casual anniversary dinner and had a phenomenal meal. The menus are written on communal chalk boards. Everything they make appeared to be done outside on their charcoal grills. All the dishes we tried (shrimp toast, tostas, oysters, cucumber salad, grilled oyster mushrooms, grilled cake and ice cream) were excellent. Also received an excellent wine pairing recommendation from our server (Alsatian Riesling). Just be mindful that on the outdoor patio it is backless seating, at communal tables. So may not be ideal for people for with back problems. 4.5 ⭐️ highly recommend.

On passera sous silence la merveilleuse carte de vin, qui invite à l'exploration et à l'abus... sauf pour dire qu'elle était à la hauteur des autres éléments du repas. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner!

We found our experience at Labo Culinaire/ Foodlab underwhelming and expensive. The portion sizes are so small it borders on insulting. (For example, I ordered the « 50 degree oysters » and got TWO oysters on my plate.) I wish we had known before going that it was more of a tapas place, although even at that it was disappointing. We did have some interesting drinks, so I guess thumbs up for cocktails. But I would never go back to this place for a meal. On top of that, at $100 per person for a little food and drink, I would expect something more comfortable than a picnic table and hardwood bench. Seriously Food Lab?
