Food was pretty good, but double the price I’d pay elsewhere for the same. Based on the price point I assumed the ambiance and service would be top tier, but it wasn’t. Maybe just had bad luck. It wasn’t terribly busy and we were just a table of two, but our waiter was inattentive and it took forever to get our drinks! He seemed nice, but I think he was inexperienced. I managed to get one drink, which I ordered before food. I ordered another with our appetizers, but hadn’t gotten by the time we were almost finished our mains, so I cancelled it. Then, my biggest pet peeve: cleared our dishes and left us twiddling our thumbs waiting on a bill. Finally managed to catch his eye and get out of there.

I ate here because I stayed at the hotel. I wish I ate somewhere else. The food is expensive and mediocre, with small portions. The server was very nice though. This seems more like a drinks oriented place.

My girlfriend's surprised me for a bachelor's the party here! Joel and Guillaume were amazing, they gave us great service! Rose champagne and gin tonics were on point! The salad we ordered was a must, it can be easily shared among 6 ladies. Unfortunately I can get better shrimp dumplings at a dim sum restaurant for the $11 we paid (was not worth it) but the sushi and bao were super delicious! I would come back here for a ladies night out or a group hangout. The decor is nice, once you are done, you can take the elevator in the same building to chill at their penthouse terrace that overlooks the city. Brave enough? Bring your swim suit and you can go for a dip in their tiny pool! This place draws a fun crowd, I was offered a BJ shot from a lady at another table. Cheers!

Ill be honest, i’m not entirely sure how nasi goreng should taste but it sure was wet. They put a lot of oil in it or something. And there was no sign of a properly cooked egg. I saw something that was runny white and assume that was a really undercooked egg. I’d pass unless you like it like that

We stopped in after a long day of walking around Montreal. We had a couple of beverages (my wife a margarita, KILLER good!!!) and I had a Sapporo, and we just relaxed and talked. There were about a dozen people in and it seemed that they were doing the same as us. The couple next to us ordered a sushi-type meal (sorry, don’t remember), but they devoured it and talked to the waiter about how much they enjoyed it. We went up to our room and after a brief stop at the rooftop bar (we had planned our dinner but executed a “go around” when we saw what was up there), we came back down for entrees. We started with a Dim-Sum type dish with Chicken. It came out steamed in a traditional bamboo serving dish. Oh… Em… Gee… it was FANTASTIC! We then ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. It came out the same way. Exceptional!!!! Staff (bartender, server, manager) were always in the area and each kept stopping by to check on us and ask how we were doing. They were all very friendly. If you’re staying at the hotel or passing by, it’s WELL worth your time to stop in! BIG marks! We’ll be back even if we don’t stay here!

The hidden secret of this place is to go have a drink before you eat downstairs on the gorgeous roof top terrace, before the sunsets (so a 5 a 7 is perfect). Then experience the super luxurious atmosphere while ordering some dumplings and amazing Asian food. Yes, it sits on the higher price, but the quality of service, the atmosphere, comfort and beauty of the place as well as deliciousness of the cuisine will blow you away! A gem of downtown Le east is! Love their staff... the bartenders on the terrace are very cool and offer great service and cocktails as well as the food staff in the main restaurant. I would highly recommend this place if you have a taste for the finer things in life:)

I ordered the poke and this is what I got. It was nice and fresh but this is not poke. My server, while super nice seems distracted and did not know the menu well. For dessert, I asked for the red bean mochi. She brought the tiramisu. When I mentioned it to her, her reply is “sorry but I heard tiramisu” and left. It was a $6 underwhelming mochi. Overall the pricing were high.

I didn't expect too much because it's not an authentic Asian restaurant. The maki roll is not bad but not enough sushi rice and too much cucumber. The steam dumplings wrap is too thick. The baos in the same steam basket are not at a consistent qualify. Some baos are harder than others. It's like the baos have been out for awhile or they are not steamed enough. Definitely over priced for the food but quality of service is good and nice ambiance.

Got a poke for lunch and got served salmond on top of rice with the sauce next to it. I was expecting at least the salmond being marinated in the sauce at this price. This is far from what you'll find in Hawaii.

I love this place and it's very, very good for a hotel restaurant. It always seems packed for business lunches, and I've enjoyed a variety of different dishes. My wife has allergies and they were able to accommodate her as well. Definitely recommended.

Had a wonderful lunch and tasting with Montreal collegue. The Manager and Bar Manager are very passionate about the offerings. Asian fusion inspired, fresh and fragrant. Paired all our dishes with Gekkeikan Sake and it was delicious. Started off with a tequila plum wine cocktail. This was new to me and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was...I had two. Asiatique is conveniently located, wait time was minimal. Any occasion to visit this hip establishment, make it so. Cheers

I don't know how to start this one. We went over for a happy hour and I arrived late and ordered dinner. I ordered the Szechuan chicken. This meal contains peanuts. They were clearly rancid which is too bad because it's a receipe I really like. Two of us were sharing the meal and we both had the same opinion After paying, I let the manager know that he needed to check his stock because clearly, it was not fresh or they were slipped an older batch. I was not looking for a discount, the bill was already settled. Instead of thanking me for the info, he went in the kitchen to taste them and came back to argue (quite vehemently) that they were not rancid and intimated that I did not know what they should taste like.. Poor customer service. Poor judgment. Are we going to visit again: "No".

Definitely a 5 star food experience. The fusion menu is very exciting and there are a lots of interesting and also traditional dishes to choose from. The dim sum and dumplings are fantastic and highly recommended, they are great to share and make and excellent starter. The cocktails on the menu are also highly enjoyable, if somewhat expensive. Overall a great place to visit for a special occasion, since the price is on the higher end, you want to save this place for a great experience!

Ambiance is super nice, and service was at par, there could of been a little more attentiveness about the water. The dim sum was really good/with the sauce that was served. I had the chicken dish which I was not that impressed with. I thought the “general Tao” type chicken was over cooked. Pricing is not reasonable for lunch as the food didn’t taste luxury/blow my mind. I would go again but most likely wouldn’t recommend it for out of Towners as a must.

Went to Le East with a large group (15) last week. The food was delicious, warm and the whole group was served at the same time. The service was excellent altough it took a bit of time to get going (first food orders). I had the Pekin duck and thought it was served in a very original way. The ambiance and decor is also great in this venue which is part of a hotel lobby.

The Singapore Noodles were amazing but the Chocolate Lava cake was absolutely delicious. Being vegetarians, we didn't have an issue finding dishes that were varied and filling. Definitely worth going, specially for the choco lava cake !!

Fantastic service, delicious food. We had dumplings and Imperial roll to start. We shared Shanghai chicken entree, spicy and thrilling. A highlight was the bok Choi which was delicately sauced and slightly charred. We weren’t expecting great dessert in an Asian restaurant but we were wrong! The salted caramel cheesecake was so good, so sophisticated, just gorgeous. We had a local white beer with our meal which stood up to the strong flavors with gusto. A great evening. The waiter was superb. Go there.

Beautiful restaurant, good food but very bad service. I'm surprised Marriott accepts a resto with this kind of service. We went there for their first anniversary and we were not treated well at all. Once we told the owner - which is very nice, we got better service but not acceptable. I don't recommend. Better option around.

Nice big bright place with a bar. Decent prices good place to dine with a group or even a dinner date. Staff was very nice. They didn't get my order a 100% right so I was left sifting threw my dinner to take out what I didn't want and the fried chicken was over fried. With that being said I would go back
