Ive been going here for years since it opened. I loved the fact they came out with gluten senstive menu and the staff was fantastic in the beginning. However as of late the service has dropped immensely and tonight was incredibly disappointing. We were seated around 9 and not once did any one come to greet us or take our order. We sat there for a little under thirty minutes, till we got frustrated and left. Honestly it's clear that the amount of effort has dwindled and I probably won't ever come back.

Ordered takeout from Financial Drive location and was not impressed with my overdone and cold steak and fries. When I complained I was told I ordered Medium Well and that is what you get and that it got cold on my 3 minute drive home. I am no stranger to ordering steak in my 48 years on earth lol! Burnt and not being able to cut through a steak is not considered medium well... thank you very much. I expect to get good quality when I order. When I complain it is for good reason. Not happy with any part of my order, especially the poor response I received about my order. Not ever ordering from this establishment again.

Not just for kids anymore. Chicken tenders were absolutely mouth watering. And I was very impressed with the Cesar salad. I usually grade most Cesar salads as average but this hit a lot of marks. Great combination with the tenders. And the sauce ???? Food 5 Service 5 (I’ll speak about this later) Atmosphere 5 Overall experience 5 Service would have been a 4 if not for the great waitress and manager on duty. In our party we had an individual who could not eat gluten and loved the wings, unfortunately this was taken off the menu and on top of that they ran out of buns. At this point you think my review would just go down from there. They basically did everything they could to ensure our happiness and did just that and more. Cudo’s to the team at Union Social

I have decided to change my review and give them 2 stars instead of 5 stars. Due to high traffic on the weekends, I'm not sure if they are short on staff but the customer service is extremely slow. This has happened multiple times which has made me change my review about them. The 2 stars is for the food and price.

Awesome!!! Food was absolutely delicious!! Accommodated my food requirements with ease. Excellent service. Not too busy, felt safe. Free parking. Lots of parking. Great location. Had an amazing salad added shrimp, hubby had the ace sandwich and the bread looked delicious, he was happy too. Definitely recommend, will be back. Price reasonable

Nice atmosphere and excellent customer service. Nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. Wide variety on the menu without being large and convoluted. Food is fresh and tasty every time. Also, this is a great place to catch a game with a more modern crowd.

Went for brunch, got an eggs benedict. Poached eggs were very vinegary. Watermelon-strawberry-yogurt shooter I could have done without. Mimosa tastes like bottle concentrated orange juice mixed with the cheapest sparking wine. Service was sub-par. Went for dinner before it was a much better experience.

Great atmosphere, decent food. I had the western mushroom melt burger and my buddy had the chicken flat bread. Both were decent. My burger was charred outside but perfectly cooked inside. The best thing about our meal was our drink, they make a mean Mojito & Old Fashion.

Very delicious food! Loved the shrimp tacos! Sucks that i only got two tacos though. But i get it... it was an appetizer! I got the U.S Burger. It was alright..nothing to to fancy. The rest of the people at my table lover thier food! I wish the shripm tacos was an Entree with more. Would of gotten that for sure! Service was good. Friendly waitress. Went on a friday so it was very loud and busy. Would go again just during a less busy time

When it opened it was a one of a kind place (it still is) with very interesting spins to the typical pub fare you see and such an amazing price range. The staff are trained to keep you feeling like a valued customer. Great place for both lunch and dinner!

Very rushed service, barely any space between tables, feels like you are having dinner with 4 strangers, tables are very wobbly and no one cares. They are cheap on the wine pour and my glass was dirty and used when it came. The $9 extra Tuna option for the salad included 4 tiny pieces of tuna, couldn't be more than 50 grams... So much for a healthy protein intake. In and out in like 40 minutes, like previously stated very rushed service, and food was decent but very cheap on ingredients.

I will definitely post another review following another visit to Union Social, as I feel like this review I'll give below will not fully represent the restaurants potential. So, I went here for my birthday lunch, since I've always wanted to try this place but from the outside it looked like a 'special occasion' sort of restaurant. I entered in and to my surprise it was actually a pretty casual place. We were greeted immediately by a friendly server and taken to a table. It was still pretty early but the restaurant was already busy. As we sat more people kept on entering in, which showed how well the place does. The reason I was so intrigued by this restaurant was that their menu had a lot of variety- from sushi to tacos. So, the prices were a bit high, but typical for such sort of bar and grills. I ordered the candy house salad with grilled chicken (which is why I feel my review isn't really fair) because I knew that my dinner will be large, so I opted for the lightest option. My friend got the West coast veggie burger with truffle fries. yeap...he surely splurged and apparently it was worth it. Mine was pretty good, but nothing extraordinary since it was just a salad. The service was great and efficient, food came in a timely manner, the decor and ambiance was great, and prices were slightly steep but expected. Next time I'll return and try perhaps the salmon and bahn mi tacos. Not a bad restaurant if you want a change from your usual bar and grill.

Great place for pub food. Atmosphere is great casual dinning, and group dinning. Not too many healthy/alternative choices though. Starters are great. Flat bread was my fav. Mediterranean 3-Dip was really good too. Service was pretty good. Food didn't always arrive together. Is one of my biggest peeve when I dine with my family. Other than than, great spot.

Food is alright in my opinion. Third time visiting and still haven't found anything I really enjoyed off the menu. Bland tasting food from my experiences. Had special instructions for toppings NOT to include in my dish that weren't followed. Would be more understanding if the restaurant was busy during my visit but only a few tables ... Allergy requests are very serious to me. Probably the last visit from me.

Really good food and friendly service but don't come here if you want a quiet dinner, is obnoxiously loud. A few acoustic panels would cut the echoes off all the hard surfaces and make this place much more comfortable to dine in

Food here is pretty good, and decently priced. Staff is friendly as well. This place will get very busy very quickly because of all the businesses in the area, so be aware of that. Other than that, great experiences, and no complaints.

Visual and ambiance was good. Clean well layed out. Food average to below par. Felt like a kitchen staffed by part-timers instead of professional chefs. Portions were very small for the price, I expects more than two tiny pieces of chicken and a palm full of penne pasta for $20. And it was under spiced. Restaurant was half full and service was poor, slow. 45min to get appetizers, request for utensils, straw, salad dressing, etc was promised and never arrived. Hire better quality servers instead of for looks. A captain for the kitchen to give guidance and keep it on schedule. Floor managers who keep an eye on the floor to catch things going wrong such as tables waiting too long, or servers who need an assist. BTW I have worked in restaurants for 15 yrs have seen it done right and wrong. Hopefully taken constructively.

I picked up takeout for my family on Friday night. While I know that times are very hard for restaurants, but I didn't expect that I would see what I did. It looked like there were 4 people working, 2 cooks in the kitchen, and 2 girls helping customers. There was a lot of very loud and inappropriate swearing coming from the cooks in the kitchen. The tall cook was also yelling at the 2 girls helping customers. He was very demeaning and rude when you could see the girls were doing a great job and were so sweet and helpful. I hope this isn't how the staff are treated on a regular basis by the cooks.

Happened to be here on Friday Evening. Good ambience , candle light effects , hook beneath the table to for ladies to hang their hand bags polite service. But the food was not up to the expectations. Lemonade (not on the menu) - loaded with lemon syrup so sour and acidic served without sugar first time . After informing the waitress they added sugar syrup and that's all it still sour not able to complete. Cheese taco- served with salsa and sour cream. Nothing special to comment about the taste. Firecracker- 4 pieces for 10$ not worth the money. But tasted good. Give it a try . Flat bread with goat cheese - plain bread added with some topping. Goat cheese served there was mild and good. No veg burger in stock - supposed to be good there Beer only this that didn't disappoint Not on list to visit again

My husband and I decided to go to Union Social Eatery for lunch after running some errands in the area. We live in Kitchener, so we have never been to this particular restaurant before. The service was amazing! From the manager who greeted us to our wonderful, happy and very perky server, Leslie. The service was just wonderful! Leslie was super friendly and so attentive. She was very busy but still had time to come and chat a little and check on us. On to the food....we ordered the Parmsean Truffle Fries, Crispy Calamari and the House Braised Sirloin Firecrackers.......delicious!!!!! I can't go on enough about the food. Very, very good!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. Next time I am in the area I will be visiting this place and hopefully Leslie will be our server again.

Probably the loudest restaurant I've ever been to. I went with 6 of my friends to celebrate completing post-grad and we were seated on high-tops in the bar section. This is my first time being there so when they asked if high-tops were okay while making a reservation I didn't see an issue with it. I seriously couldn't hear any of my friends expect the people sitting directly next to me. It was so bad to the point that the server could barely hear my requests. The server even admitted that it was too loud in there. She asked if I wanted my appetizer first before she brought out everyone elses main course. And I told her to bring them all out and she didnt hear me so she brought out my appetizer and we wait a long time before asking where everyone's food was. They apologized for the delay and brought me a fresh appetizer along with everyone elses food so that was nice. But seriously if the music in the restaurant is so loud that it impairs customer service that's an issue. In general, a majority of us got tacos and they were excellent. One of my friends got the veggie burger and she really liked it as well.

Probably wouldnt go here at night though since the place gets pretty packed and its hard to talk or hear amogst other people and socialize since the atmosphere has a very lounge-esque feel to it. Bar was great as well, I got my drink that wasn't on their menu. Definitely would come back here maybe during lunch or at a less busier time

Great place! Had dinner here with friends and was blown away by the gluten free options. The bar is pretty well stocked too. Went on a saturday night and despite it being packed, we managed to get a spot at the bar as our table wasn't ready (as we were early), service both at the bar and when seated was fantastic, can't knock the food either, really good and will definately come back again!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice, & everyone was very friendly. I ordered the almond crusted chicken tenders and got a side of truffle fries. The chicken unfortunately didn't have any flavour, and the fries had an odd aftertaste. I did ask for a side of garlic aioli, which made both dishes 10x better. I will come back, but try something else on the menu. My boyfriend ordered their bacon cheeseburger and liked it, but agreed that the truffle fries weren't that great (note: if you want the best truffle fries, go to Cactus Club!). The waitress took my leftovers and went to pack them up for me, but accidentally threw them out. She came over right away and apologized for her mistake and said that she placed a new order for me and will have it packed up ASAP. I honestly appreciated the honesty and know mistakes happen, but a whole new meal out of it wasn't necessary (although gladly accepted & eaten the next day!). Also - ordered a Caesar and it was good. The rim was a bit on the spicy side.

Just went there today. It was a very dry place. Service was soooo slow. Just to get our drinks including water we had to wait so long. Our kids were done eating by the time we got our dinner and the order was given the same time. Food was also very basic and not at all worth the price. Our dessert was cold... although they got us another one ... but again had to wait. The server was kind ... giving her 5 star.

WHAT TO TRY?! The burgers here. The burger bread is made in house and hand pressed so it's soft and fluffy and tastes delicious. Fries are also freshly hand cut and deep fried. I tried a lot of things off their menu and they're all generally great options! Salads are good. I especially like the candy house salad because of the black fig and candied walnut combination. I tried the chicken panang noodle bowl and what I thought originally a small dish turned out to my surprise because it was filling and I still couldn't finish it! It's on the spicier side though but the curry spice in this dish smells really aromatic. The almond crusted chicken was delicious too and what I thought was a mediocre dish actually excited my taste buds after I dipped the chicken fingers in the maple Dijon and their U.S.E. Sauce. Last tip?! If you're coming here over lunch over the weekdays, make sure to make reservations because this restaurant tends to be packed over lunch on weekdays because a lot of industrial buildings are nearby. Take advantage of their daily deals so ask what's the special the day you plan to visit this place. Ex. Tuesday's are $1 off Stella's beer.

Went here with friends on Sunday (August 25). The food was good, but our waitress was rude which killed the vibe of the evening. I asked for a straw (I have sensitive teeth), she seemed annoyed by this. My friend asked for a straw as well for their water, they were also drinking a martini. She looked at them and responded sarcastically "For your Martini?" It was uncalled for. I care about the turtles, most places have paper straws, they should switch over too, instead of judging people who asks for straws..again I have sensitive teeth. Will not go back to this location.

We booked this restaurant for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Saw great reviews, were expecting a good night. It was sub-par to say the least. They warned us ahead of time that they would need the tables by 9:30pm, which was absolutely fine... UNTIL it took 50 minutes for us to get our food. Once we had eaten they neglected to offer us a dessert menu, which we were interested in, and told us that they wanted us to leave because it was 9:30. So rude. If you put time constraints on your customers, you better make damn sure you are delivering optimal customer service.

Went to this place based on reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was upbeat and helpful and attentive. I sat at the bar and had dinner and although my first choice and i didnt get along the manager replaced it quickly and without fuss. Used to love this place, I've sent my food back the last two times and my burger was not cooked properly at all the second time, which is very concerning. There were nearly 10 employees outside walking around while we waited 48 minutes for our food when there were only 3 other tables with people seated. My friends beer also came flat twice. Not impressed.

Nothing special. Their beer menu is severely lacking. Virtually no craft beers on tap, just the generic beers found in any restaurant. The menu is simple, the food is good, but there's nothing unique or appealing to be found. Overall it's a completely unremarkable restaurant. Won't come back again unless someone's paying.

Excellent service, made a reservation ahead of time and requested a booth seat which we received. Our server didn't rush us and let us take as much time as we needed to enjoy our evening. Started with the daily soup special (chicken and wild rice) which was very tasty, had veggies in there too. Also tried out the shrimp tacos, I thought it was good but nothing special. Our mains consisted of a cheeseburger and a fish sandwich. Both dishes were very delicious, flavourful and satisfying. I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice, cozy, lively night out.

We were working at Fan Expo so we had an hotel nearby. We would end our shifts very late, amazing thing this restaurant close around midnight! We went there every night for three days in a row. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get. Taste amazing! 5$ tacos after 9pm were the saviors!

I have been to this location on multiple occasions and last night returned after a couple years and was completely disappointed. It took 20 minutes have to someone come to our table to take drink orders and that was because we were flagging the staff down. The food is mediocre and lacks flavoring. Better management, improved customer service and perhaps a revamped menu is what this location needs.

I have been to this restaurant several times and this is by far the worst experience I have had. When we arrived for our reservation, on time might I add, we were disappointed to find the table without cutlery or plates. Not sure if this is standard practice these days but this was an issue after we received our appetizers. We ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time to save time. Not sure what happened but our appetizers took more than 40 minutes to come out and our entrees took over 90 minutes to arrive. Even though we had a large group (10) if we ordered everything at once it shouldn't 90 minutes especially when 2 in our group didn't ordered entrees. Then there was multiple mix ups when the food finally did arrive and two of the steak frites ordered were way undercooked. One person in our group had to send their steak back twice because the chefs clearly didn't know how to handle a steak. It was chewy to the point the steak knife couldn't cut the meat. The waiter had to be asked to clear our table. It looked to us that he was overwhelmed with the size of our group and had no help from the manager or other staff. The manager came to our table once to drop off two plates and never returned. She didn't ask us how things were going or explained the delay since there was maybe eight other tables that were occupied by the time we had ordered. She didn't acknowledge our table once even sitting a table away and eating chicken wings while we waited for our food. At one point a group of 5 guys, who had come in an hour after us, were served drinks and already eating their appetizers before our entrees came out. We had to repeatedly ask for water and to have the plates removed from the table. We had brought a cake to celebrate a birthday. When we asked for the box back we were told they had thrown it out. Thankfully they cut up the rest of the cake and put it in takeout containers. It was a frustrating night especially since it was nowhere near busy. We usually go to Union Social Eatery to celebrate birthdays. We even had a party of 30 plus, pre-pandemic, for a surprise party at this location. However, after tonight I will not be returning to this place.

Was there for a birthday surprise with a group of 7 people. Our server was super friendly and professional, she literally MEMORIZED the whole table's ordere in a few seconds. Food was kind of disappointing, it looks better than it tastes. It got a little too loud since they were busy. Overall a good experience, I would recommend it for large groups of friends or family.

Definitely an after work drinks kinda of crowd. Delightfully the staff accomodate our party of 9, 5 of which are children under the age of 5. Service was attentive and prompt and they served the kids first which was appreciated. Burgers were a hit among the adults. Lively crowd that help drown out the chatter of the children. Definitely a resto that works for families if you dont mind that some after work business groups.

Great place to grab drinks after work or even go for work lunches. If you're in a hurry you can call in beforehand with your reservation and order and they'll have the food ready for you as soon as you arrive. Staff are always friendly and service is usually quick. Would definitely recommend their Almond Crusted Chicken Tenders they're super good and always a crowd pleaser!

For someone who hates salads I've become ADDICTED to their herb salad with chicken, its amazing! All the other restaurants in the area make you pay the same price for a sad iceberg lettuce salad, but here they really know how to make their food come alive! Back in July, my daughter went away for the weekend and we decided to take out our son for dinner. Out son is Celiac so there is not too many options that we have for dinner. We remembered that Union Social was a favorite of ours before our son was born and so we gave them a call to see what gluten free options they have. Surprisingly, there were many options...especially his favourite, burgers and fries. We headed over and were seated at a table in front of the restaurant (which was the only option at that point due to Covid-19). My wife and I loved our meals; she had almond crusted chicken fingers and I had beer battered fish and chips. Our son's reaction was the best though, he said that this was the best burger he's ever had in his life. Now he's only 9 but he's had a few different gluten free burgers/buns and he had to let us know. Great job Union and we'll be back once indoor dining comes back.

I’ve been here a couple times and it’s always a nice vibe. Service is a hit or miss, they always seem understaffed. Food is good. Usually get the nachos to start, the calamari is really good as well! For mains I like the almond crusted chicken tenders. The burgers are just okay, nothing special. Drinks menu is very limited but wardrobe malfunction and Long Island ice tea as my preferences.

I guess that's the "social" part =p Maybe to watch a game it's great, but for dinner with friends or colleagues, you'll find yourself yelling to say anything. Just looking at the food though, A+! Have been here several times and I cannot believe I haven't posted a review yet. We have always enjoyed the food here. Today we had the fish and chips and chicken panang noodle bowl. Both very good. Service has always been good as well. Staff is attentive without hovering. Layout and overall ambiance is good. A nice place to dine with family or friends or both. The reason for four stars instead of five is the noise level. They keep the music so loud that when you have a lot of people dining they are all having to talk loud to hear each other. This just adds to the noise level. Turn it down guys. It's not a dance club.

A group of us went there last Saturday afternoon. The wait staff were great. The food on the other hand were only so so. We had appetizers, salads, sides, mains, desserts and alcohol. The portions were small. The full size salad looked more like a side, 2/3 full in the regular size bowl. How much is lettuce cost? I have never got to any restaurants that give so little lettuce and charging $11 each especially some of us only wanted lettuce and very little bit of cheese & dressing, no bacon, pepper, tomato etc. Food needs seasonings. The so called killer hot dips tasted like a bit of ketchup in lots of mayo....no taste and certainly not even hot. We asked for hot sauce but the waitress said the restaurant does NOT have regular hot sauce just only has hot sauce in butter which would cost extra $1 per little container. We have no problem paying for that but why would you nickel and dime your customers when they ordered that much from you?! By the way, that tasted a bit better and had a little bit of heat. We would try somewhere else next time.

I thought this place was good based on the 4* review on Yelp and google. It's got a decent atmosphere but man does the food suck. We ended up getting the flat bread which was delivered to us cold. Then we ordered some tacos which were meh, the shrimp was not seasoned properly and pulled pork was drenched in sugar. They used dempsters tortillas for the tacos, not sure if you'd consider that tacos. Don't expect good food just go for the beer I guess, but jack Astor's food would have been better.

Good food, good atmosphere, good service. Overall very good place overall. A tad on the pricy side, but you tend to get what you pay for so, drinks are $1-2 more than most places. Almond crusted chicken fingers are good, so are the burgers. Veggie burger is good as well, just make sure they don't overcook it. Ive been 5 times (mostly for lunch or after work drinks).

Staff is incredibly kind and thoughtful. We popped in very late one Wednesday evening to do a last min bday celebration. By the time we finished eating and were ready for dessert, the kitchen had already closed (but we didn’t know). I didn’t catch her name but one of the staff did everything she could to still get us a nice dessert so that I could sing happy birthday to my love. The way they went above and beyond and actually cared about what we needed really made a positive impact. Oh, and the truffle fries are to die for!!!

I used to pass this place by, completely unaware that it was a pub. The name doesn't sound like what you might expect for a pub, nor does it look like one from the outside. The inside is a different story entirely, it is very much a pub in look and atmosphere. There is a large selection of beer on offer (including craft), and each day of the week they feature a different beer at a discounted price. The menu has a good selection of the kinds of food you might expect from a pub, as well as a few things you might not (I'm not a vegetarian, but I tried their veggie burger on recommendation and it was excellent). Regardless of what I ordered, I have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly, and know their beers.

Experience was especially exceptional today. The management of this location is excellent and food is always great quality. My wife and I visit Union Social often, and we have loved it since day one, but today's experience was especially superb. A few of my friends and I visited on Victoria day and there was an issue outside or on the roof where something was burning, emitting a heavy odour that could be smelled inside. It was bothering us a bit so we decided we ask for our order to go. Manager came over and quickly apologized and explained the bill would be taken care of for us, which we weren't expecting that at all. We ended up eating the food back home and food was delicious as always. I definitely plan on continuing to visit this establishment. Customer service is always great, and they seem do really value their customers.

I came here the other day for something to eat and lots to drink! I had Korean Pulled Pork Tacos which were lovely, followed by Buffalo Butter wings which were ever better! Man that wasn't enough for me so I had The Social Dragon Roll which was apprehensive about but my server Denise assured me would be delicious. She confessed she actually had the Dragon Roll earlier in the day haha! So to no surprise I had them and they were outstanding! talk about UMAMI! Took some Key Lime Pie home because I was too stuffed but indulged in it later into the night haha!! Thank You USE for a fabulous experience and thank you Denise for putting up with me! Went on around 7pm on a Saturday. It was more family-friendly than I expected. I had the Ahi Tuna Sliders (smaller and less than expected, but very good nonetheless) and Dragon Roll while my fiancée had the original burger. Quite surprised at the variety of food options despite having a small menu. Music was louder than I cared for but overall I would eat here again and recommend it as a great alternative to the usual franchises in Mississauga.

Vegetarian gluten free flatbread was inedible (Manager's reaction: well, it's gluten free, like what did you expect? Uh, something edible?). Waitress was initially unfriendly, but warmed up after the flatbread comment, so perhaps she secretly disagreed with the manager. Overall, if you know good food you will recognize the food here isn't.

Great selection of vendors to choose from. Buzzing place throughout the week and the weekend. We tried the Moosehead lager, Indian Kathi rolls, Kangaroo sausage and crocodile skewers. Just leaving a review for the lovely server, Mavis! She made mine and my boyfriend’s first experience outstanding. Her friendliness and easy going personality really makes a difference in a guests experience, and I love that. So if any one gets her, you are lucky :) for the food, tacos and burgers were amazing. Mavis shared that everything is made from the house, and it really shows when you taste the food. I only gave 4 stars because I LOVE when my fries are crunch on the outside and soft on the inside but their fries here are just soft, kind of reminds me of In-n-Out fries. I don’t hate it but less prefered, I admire that they are fresh cut though! So if you like the way I like my fries, try to ask for well done (as I will too the next time I come). Thank you management for taking care of Mavis, she really enjoys working here and it shows. Continue to take care of your staff because it positively affects us, the guests!

Great service, great food. Leslie was our server and she was great at her job. I had the fish and chips but subbed the fish for a caesar salad and it was loaded with real crisped bacon. They're apparently known for their chicken sandwiches as they change them out with new recipes every so often. As good as the fish was I kinda wish I went with the chicken sandwich as it sounded delicious. My recommendation, ask them for the sandwich of the week and if it even gets you a little interested, then order it. Lol. Will be back forsure.... for the chicken sandwich.

We went on Sunday for brunch, the actual brunch menu is very thin, consisted of only 5 dishes. The regular menu is also available, which looked decent. The eggs and steak was very good, cooked to my liking and the potatoes were very tasty too. My wife think the Salmon eggs benedit is average at best. The service was very good though. We planned a wedding rehearsal dinner for our son & his fiancé over the phone( from across the country.) When I called to enquire they were lovely on the phone & by email , very accommodating and helpful . The dinner was for 21 people, and it lived up to expectations. Everyone very much enjoyed it , the food was great, and was all served in a timely fashion, service was very good. Wine and alcohol prices are quite reasonable. The food is extremely good value. Many thanks to Lainey and Ronnie, who answered questions on the phone and were very helpful in general prior to our dinner,( and I called several times in the week before we arrived in Mississauga, to plan this event.)-and to servers Mackenzie and Carling. I am so glad we chose this restaurant , I highly recommend this Union Social Eatery, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for an event such as this, or/and just for an evening out . Amazing food and even better staff! Came with a large party after work and the staff were unbelievable! Super accommodating of some overly picky people and all of our apps and then food some how was all ready at the same time (12+ people). Just an amazing experience. Also the drinks are fantastic! This review is long overdue. Our family was very impressed with the exceptional service provided to us by the hostesses and GM (Rony) of Union Social Eatery. The meals were all delicious and the GM went out of his way to keep my 9-yr old well entertained. We enjoyed a delicious meal AND with very content kids - which makes for a great dining experience. Even the kids' desserts were made from scratch - yummy and like something you would get from Grandma's kitchen!

Great food and atmosphere. My favourite is the almond crusted chicken tenders with buffalo butter sauce, but if you’re a salad craver their salads are yummy too. Been here many times and always great service. Kids menu is reasonably priced, tasty and includes dessert. The only thing they are missing is seafood pasta. They have salmon and ahi tuna but not a pasta dish. Love this place - totally recommend.

Never make a reservation at this restaurant. Went in 30 mins early at 5:30 and asked if we could get seated early but the manager had to ask us to wait 30 mins because we are early and our table was not ready. The worst part was the entire restaurant was empty at the time. Not sure if it was because we were a bunch of Asians in a white restaurant, but I felt like we could have been treated better. In hind sight I guess we could have got seated without making a reservation.

Very nice bar and restaurant. Very live and happening atmosphere. This place is usually packed with young people. They have some amazing and selection of appetizers and main course. Service is top notch. The size of TV is too small to enjoy sporting event but other than that everything is just perfect for this place.

Took over 50minutes to get our food. The server didn't check on our order until I asked. She came back 10minutes later and explained that they had a big party come in before and must have misplaced our order. When we eventually got our food, my husband ordered another beer in which it was only until we had finished our food she came out with his beer. Food was average. Won't be coming back or recommending this place.

Food is decent but the service wasn't so great. Went with two friends and waited for one of them to arrive. Told the first server we were waiting on her to come. Once she arrived we didn't see the server for 20 minutes so I kindly asked the hostess to send someone over instead of leaving the restaurant. When the new server arrived he was hasty and only allowed one of us to order a drink. By the time I started saying my order he walked away...I get maybe he was really busy. Over the course of the dinner we were just given attitude, server didn't really pay attention to us and even messed up the bill. Sad to say I don't think I'll be going back there.

I went here yesterday (Sunday) with 2 friends around lunch time. I ordered a Pimm's and Ginger which was really good, I downed it pretty quickly. The food came after about 10-15 minutes I ordered the Smashed Avocado Dip to start and shared it between the 3 of us, that was pretty good as well. I ordered the Panang Chicken Noodle Bowl as my main, one friend ordered a burger and the other, fish and chips. I did not like the noodle bowl the sauce was very bland and bitter not really enough flavour as I expected. All the ingredients were good except for the sauce. I brought the rest home and added more things (sweet sauce and sriracha) to it it make it taste good. My friend didn't like her coleslaw with her fish and chip so I ate it, it was also bitter, but it was okay. She liked her dish other than that and the gherkin sauce. For dessert we ordered the Creme brulée, a brownie, and the cheesecake to share. Creme brulée was excellent as well as the brownie which was super moist. The cheesecake was not a hit though. The service was pretty good we always had our waters refilled without asking. And the server gave us recommendations when we asked. Overall, good experience, would not order the panang bowl or the cheesecake again. Great environment, good servers, and nice decor.

Food was good. Always is. Our waitress must’ve forgotten I said ‘no tomatoes’ (allergy) because they arrive on my plate. Luckily They were whole grape tomatoes and I was able to move them to the side. She had to be asked 4 times to bring water. And after she left a large spill on our table she never did come back to wipe it up. Young and friendly but needs to find a new profession. If mgmt wants to know who she is - she is the gal with the oversized 1980’s eye glasses. Fashion statement I guess.

I have been going here since the day it opened a few years ago. All I can say is WOW!!! Amazing atmosphere, Amazing food, Amazing beer selection and Amazing staff! Swordfish burger! AceHigh Club! Almond Crusted Chicken Fingers! Candy House Salad with figs! Tacos! Killer Chicken Sandwich (changes weekly)! I have tried everything on the menu and have never been disappointed! This place is a hidden GEM!! We need more unique places like this in Mississauga! I'm surprise it has yet to be on You Gotta Eat Here or one of those unique eats shows

Was in the Mississauga area and needed a quick dinner. I ordered the salad with the chicken fingers and my husband had the chicken fingers and fries. The homemade chicken fingers are amazing - hot, crispy and lots of chicken. The salad wasn't great, though. And the fries, which have potential (thin, like McDonald's), came lukewarm and very, very over salted. Had we had more time, we would have sent back the fries and I'm sure they would have been accommodating. Very friendly servers.

During these times of covid it's hard to give proper review I mean Understaffed cutbacks etc. after reading an article that Union social has one of the best nachos decided to go give it a try. Drove to the Mississauga location we dined late due to shift work etc. We made reservations via the OpenTable app. The place was actually empty. I understand during these tough times places are cutting down on staff we waited 5 mins to be seated in a near empty restaurant and it wasn't busy at all our waitress was the hostess and bartender all in one.. I understand during these times of covid.. Any how I tried the Nacho's I will admit they where excellent. Just wish the portion size was bigger and as it just enough for party of 2. And what caught my eye on menu was buffalo wings with GORGONZOLA DIP yes not blue cheese but gorgonzola. The Italian version of blue cheese which was amazing. So good I had to ask and yes it's made in house. Wings where ok maybe a little longer in fryer to give them a crunchy. the restaurant was clean the washroom for clean everything was good just like I said these tough times place was understaffed I understand during these tough times but it is what it is

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. We didn't have a reservation, The place was packed due to the holidays celebrations, but they found us a table in a timely manner. This is our favourite spot! We always come here for their pulled pork poutine. I’ve never had a poutine like it anywhere else. When we went last they took it off the menu but you can still request it. They also changed the size to a smaller size, but the big size was too big anyways. This size is just right for anyone. However; my boyfriend wanted the larger size as usual, and they surprised him with it even though they said they don’t do that size anymore. But next time it is only the smaller size. It was so nice of them to do that for him. Awesome place to eat, great environment and really good service. Highly recommend.

We made a reservation yesterday for a birthday party. We arrived 30 mins early and we asked if we could get seated first as the whole restaurant was basically empty. The hostesses at the front were really rude as they rolled their eyes at us and just told us the table is not ready. I don't understand why it wouldn't be ready because the tables were all set up and there were only two or three tables of customers. I don't feel like I was valued as a customer as they did not even bothered asking us to sit at the bar first while we wait for our table. This has been a terrible experience and I would not recommend Union Social at this location. I've been to Union Social in North York many times and the service is excellent there.

Union Social Eatery is a such a great, fun enviroment! The staff and management are truly amazing, and go over the top for their customers. My friend had organized a surprised party for me here this past Sunday, and according to him the management helped every step of the way and made the whole party planning so much easier! The whole thing came out as a HUGE surprise to me, and during the whole event the staff was so helpful and considerate. The food here was also great! I had the Korean Pork Tacos and they we're spot on ???? Overall I am just so impressed with how accommodating this restaurant was, they had stellar customer service and I really recommend them!

The serving staff was very pleasant and efficient???? The food that we ordered was well prepared and very tasty. For dessert tried the seasonal peach brulee which was an interesting slant on the traditional offering. But personality I found fruit in the brulee took away from the dessert. The only issue was the coffee served with dessert was luke warm and old. They made good on this by offering a cappuccino to replace that coffee.

Came here cuz the roommate was craving for some Nachos and apparently this is the #1 nachos in Mississauga. Delicious but needs more brisket and some nachos were a bit over fried (cuz they make their own) Wings taste like awesome butter chicken with a kick. Good beers. Rotating craft tap. Six items on the kid's menu, including a cheese flat bread which is basically a plain thin crust pizza. It's quite a large portion for a kid and my son was very pleased. He said it was the best pizza he'd ever had. We stopped on route as we couldn't put off lunch any longer and we were all very happy we did. My steak and eggs from the brunch menu were good, and the potatoes they came with were excellent. I loved the rosemary and lemon zest.

We made reservations weeks in advance for a large bridal party. On the morning of the day, we received a phone call informing us that we would be limited to 2 hours because another party would be coming in. We would have booked elsewhere if we would have known. The service was fine and the food was average, but we would simply never go back because of how the situation was dealt with. I wouldn't suggest this place for large parties.

Order: Smokehouse Deluxe Burger, fries, water, various mayo based sauces, Sapporro Here's my TASTY review Time: 3-5PM, Thursday, February 16th Atmosphere: Nicely decorated, quiet and not too busy. Service: Great. The server (Leslie) came out and checked on us almost every 15 minutes. As well as, brought us a variety of mayo based sauces to go with the fries and burger. Although, when the servers changed, it felt a little pushy to clear our table. Thoughts: Went with my husband for lunch and a great spot for a quick meal or to hang out and celebrate something special. Yummy Factor: The burger was good but lacked a little flavour and was overdone. Bacon was quiet hard so def a plus that I got it on the side. I do feel the taste of the burger isnt as flavourful as it used to be. Fries, matchstick style but a little on the salty side and oily but still very tasty, especially with all the sauces. The sauces were Union Social Eatry Sauce, Garlic Aioli, Srirach Mayo were all delcious. Although the Sirracha Mayo had a kick to it but went great with the fries. Lastly, Pommery Sauce which comes on the burger. Its mustard seeds mixed with mayo, its got a good flavour for a quick dip but too pungent for my liking and grainy. Better to have on the side and add it yourself. Sopporro, nice and cold. Overall, I give Union a YUMM out of a YUMMY

Everything on the menu is delicious. Ask if Nick is cooking tonight and I guarantee you will enjoy your meal. Bench seats are cozy and the bar area is a good place to be in to enjoy the game. Service is friendly and welcoming. They are quick to replace your meal if there is any little thing wrong with it so let your server know! I've been here a dozen times and will definitely return.

Not sure what to say. We used to come here quite often and always a great vibe. We thought Halloween night the restaurant would be lively. Kinda quiet and staff not as friendly as usual. They knew we were celebrating our Anniversary and no mention of it. Food was hot and salad was crisp. Menu needs a revamp but still a safe place to go for a meal.

We came here because we heard so many good things about this place. We started at the Drake with mediocre service. We thought union would he a step up. We were seated and given menus but after 20 minutes we left because we weren't even acknowledged by anyone. We were celebrating a fun night and you could have gotten a lot of our money but since the service was terrible ( non-existent) we took our business elsewhere.

Good atmosphere, and extra star for service. After enquiring about craft beer on draft, three samples were immediately provided to make a decision easily. Appetizers are very small, table of 4 needs at two orders of nachos to share over one drink. The price point for some apps are similar to most of their entrees, so my expectation was a little higher. Taste was great!

Read the reviews and I’m surprised with my experience. The ambience wasn’t the best, it was really chilly and too much street light (felt like I was sitting in the parking lot). The food was really not up to the mark, the fries were too oily, food was quite greasy and they didn’t have guacamole with nachos (I mean who doesn’t serve guacamole with nachos in todays day and age) The staff was friendly and the service was okay. Not sure if we picked the wrong food items and just the wrong day but not impressed. Unfortunately won’t be returning.

The food is great here but mygod it needs some division and sound deadening. It's so loud you can't have a normal conversation with anyone who isn't next to you. This builds as people raise their voices and no one can hear anyone. As I said, best food in the plaza, but the atmosphere makes it a very infrequent stop.

Came here yesterday to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday with her family. The staff were very nice and welcoming; the only issues that arose came from the food..we had to wait around 40 minutes or so our main dishes to come - with no apology for the long wait. Some of the dishes were cold, including the Steak Frites which was tasteless. The fries that came with my Cease & Desist Beef burger was beyond salty (and cold) as well the pulled-pulled provided was frugal....

This place used to be a lot better… sad to see it’s changed over the course of a few years. They significantly reduced their menu - I presume as a result of covid. Ordered the social punch with my dinner as I used to get it a few years back. It was juice. Completely changed the recipe, or perhaps the bartender that night was just new. It’s still a nice place to meet up with friends or coworkers, but the quality has definitely gone down.

I ordered nachos , the original nachos were delayed as the request for no onions was missed . The second nachos was rushed , served with a Pico de Gallo they tried to pass off as house made salsa. It was no where near a salsa. The nachos also had cheese on it which was not melted at all. Overall you would think after reopening from such a devastating time off in covid that the food quality would be much better. Overpriced and not worth it. Sorry but this is not one I'd recommend.

Came in for lunch with a buddy at noon time! The place was quite busy, yet we got a table right away! Our server, Denise was exceptional in her attentive service and knowledge of menu options! Not only did she hit the nail on the head with the daily special suggestions. She also offered to switch out the “Truffle fries” with another option, when we were not happy with the way they tasted. The space is super clean and has an open feeling to enjoy a very friendly positive eating experience! We will definitely be back!!!

Place was very lively on a Friday night but I get the feeling it's that way most nights. Close by there aren't many options for office happy hours or just in general to catch up. We had a reservation for a party of 4 which got changed to 5 the day of. They accomodated us with no hassles even though the place was getting packed. The service was great. Staff was attentive and checked with us periodically without feeling obtrusive. The food was decent, I ordered a steak. Which was okay, but the meat was rather tough despite the 28 days of aging...But otherwise great flavours and selection of drinks. I would go back for sure.

I have found this wonderful restaurant recently and I absolutely love the atmosphere. I have had meetings here as well as brought my father and father-in-law for dinner when they came to visit. I love this place. They have the best burgers. When we want burgers we drive from kitchener to Union Social. Since the pandemic started we order and pick up to bring home. Cheryl has always taken my order and has had it ready in time for when we arrive. She even remembers that I always ask about the killer chicken, specifically the cajon killer chicken. Last night I got a call from union social and I thought how odd but it was Cheryl calling to let me know that the cajon killer chicken was on the menu. I never even asked her to do that for me, she just remembered and called me because she didn't want me to miss out. Now that is customer service. Great food and great service! I can't wait until we go can dine in again so I can enjoy my food right from the kitchen.

Gluten free pasta is never available and I've been back here twice. Missed a condiment I had asked for on the side as well. Food was good, service was not. We went there on Saturday night, they have the policy of having table for 2 hours and then they will find u a new table. We ordered pork poutine, chicken wings and flatbread. Except for flat bread, rest were good but the quantity was very very less. We also ordered Long Island which was green, black label and scotch. Better to order neat else you have to search for it in between ice cubes. After ordering three times the black label each costing $9 and not getting the kick, we went to Boston Pizza near by and took tequila shots to feel good.

There is something special at Union Social: great food and attentive service. Michelle brought over free appetizers for our visit plus our server Rachel was super. Firecrackers are underrated. Also try the Cinnamon Banana French Toast—it’s delicious. My only disappointment was that pancakes weren’t on the brunch menu.

Came here on a Monday night in late October as part of a large group. Whilst service was great (apart from not getting water until several reminders) food was more hit and miss. Some dishes were excellent (eg ribs and banana crust chicken) some very disappointing (eg ahi tuna salad had the least amount of tuna Ive been served when having similar dishes at other places and steaks were generally not cooked to how people asked). Overall though still a good place for drinks and a casual dinner

Dropped in before a meeting to grab a quick bite and everything on the menu sounds delicious! Settled on the fish and chips and upgraded to truffle fries... truffle fries, oh my!!! The fish was thick and flaky, so tasty and the tartar sauce (gherkin something), was the best fish/tartar sauce I've ever had! A little sweet but with crunchy texture and lovely dill flavour. Wish there was one closer to me, because I'd be there a lot. Colleague had the chicken sammy and reg fries... they choose the "chicken of the day" which offers a variety and today it was a beautiful blackened chicken breast. So satisfying and great atmosphere for a work lunch! I'd definitely recommend! ????????????????????

Horrendous experience. Called days in advance to book lunch reservations for a group of 10. We were looking to book for noon, but specifically asked to arrive for 11:45 as it typically gets quite busy by noon. No problem! Our party held up our side of the bargain and arrived on time and we were accommodated with no issue. Drink orders were taken immediately and food orders just slightly after noon. So its 12:45PM, no food, yet we slowly see other smaller tables getting their meals. A gentle reminder to our server that we have not been served. She tells us the orders are being fired. It's now 1:00 still no food, and I have a colleague now taking a conference call in a booth. Five more mins we're told. 1:15 no food, now we are being told the chef was sent home and their is only one person in the kitchen...huh? The restaurant was full why was your brigade sent home? 10 mins pass and we still don't have a sufficient answer, but supposedly our food has been fired. 1:45, two hours after arriving our orders have not arrived. Five minutes we are told, are we dining in? Are you kidding me...at least they didn't fight us when we walked out with our food and no check. 1 star.

The consistently excellent service, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, and amazing food make this the top business lunch destination in northern Mississauga. The proof is in the pudding, in more ways than one. Weekday lunches are usually completely booked up, with lineups swelling around 12:30, so make a reservation (conveniently online at their website.) Weekday evenings are brisk, and Friday and Saturday nights are rockin', with a packed dining room and a packed bar. I've heard great things about their weekend breakfasts, but have yet to try them out. Needless to say, the menu looks quite appetizing.

I've been coming here for 8 years now, it's such a good spot! I keep introducing people to this place. I LOVE how fresh the food is. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but the Almond Crusted Chicken Tenders are a personal favourite!! OH AND THE TRUFFLE FRIES.

I used to love this place but food and service has gone down so much. Last time I came the veggie burger was undercooked and complete mush. This time we sat at our table for 20 mins, had servers at the next table but no one even acknowledged us being there. I used to serve and I have great respect for how hard this job is, but to completely walk by tables without acknowledging patrons for even more than 5 mins is unacceptable. I work hard for my money and would rather spend it elsewhere.

Ate dinner here to celebrate someone's birthday with a small group of people. Service was great from the moment we walked inside. Waitress was professional and displayed great customer service. The food was excellent for the meat eaters in the group. I had the meat patty replaced with a vegetarian patty. It wasn't the best but this is always the case everywhere I go. A great pub with a nice atmosphere; perfect for a night out to just relax and chat. The service was good; however, we were there late on a Monday so it's unclear how the service is when it's busy, but I bet it's fine. The food was okay, they have your standard pub fare, with some nice unique alternatives that make them stand out. There was also a great selection of beers, and spirits, which; if you're a heavy drinker like me, would greatly enjoy. Try the old fashioned. Overall, this is a place I would bring some friends from time to time if I wanted to lounge around and chat over a few pints.

Got the U.F.O. Burger with Chili Cheess Fries. The burger was nice, could use a little salt, but had good burger strength. It was a nice juicy bite, from the made in house patty. The service is always fast, but there were more than 1 server trying to take care of us when our main server was taking care of a party. We had to repeat ourselves sometimes. Other than that, food was good and the portion sizes. One of my guests said the blackened chicken bowtie was a little sour though and left the peppers off to the side. The other dishes which were the killer chicken sandwich (battered chicken breast with slaw), breakfast burger(id change the name even though the descriptionof ingredients is in the bottom of the title), steak frites and the dijon salmon everyone seemed to enjoy their meal.

Came here for dinner after work with some coworkers and first thing I noticed was a lot of people were doing the same thing. The seats are nice and cozy with a relaxed atmosphere for social gathering. The epic cheeseburger was delicious along with upgraded truffle fries. Also had the caesar salad and pulled pork poutine. These we're fairly standard bar food. They also have drink specials throughout the week which is awesome and taco special after 9:00pm.

We waited 45 mins for simple dishes, all after I was advised that what I wanted to order would take some time to prepare, so I selected something else quicker. My compliments to the chef in their ability to slice such a miniscule slice of chicken breast to put in my "killer" chicken sandwich. I guess killer refers to dying while waiting for it. I certainly won't come back or visit another.

I have been here hundreds of times. I'm not even kidding. I was there since when they first opened and used to go there 3 to 4 times a week, every single week and absolutely loved it. Ever since the second location opened it's just not been the same and has gotten worse and worse. I haven't been there since December 2016 now and I don't ever think to go here anymore. The portions are much smaller now or barely covered with any sort of toppings (naan Philly steak literally had 3 little pieces of meat in it) and even then, it's all in all not very appetizing either. Service used to be much better as well, I basically used to go there just to talk to all of the great people, have a delicious meal and enjoy myself. I am sad that it's not what it was.

Easy going restaurant with an eclectic but satisfying menu, and a good selection of cocktails. The menu is mostly New Canadian with a few twists. The tacos are actually really good here. Burgers are really good. Good appetizers including the dips and soups. Panang curry (pictured) was decently good but probably not my favourite. Wasn't personally a fan of the truffle fries. Overall there's enough different things on the menu at a fair price to keep me coming back!

Ordered from this restaurant on Uber eats two times. The first time we had ordered two burgers, and two brownies. Unfortunately only received one of each. Resulting in being down a whole persons meal. Due to Uber’s eats terrible customer service all we got was a $5 credit. We decided to order from here again, as accidents happen so we gave them another chance. We ordered two brownies and once again only revived one. This is extremely disappointing that this could happen twice in a row, and makes me wonder how many people miss food from their orders. It’s unfortunate, as we really did enjoy the food we did get but because of the terrible customer service on both ends, we can’t risk ordering from this restaurant again.

Went last night with some friends. We were all extremely disappointed with the food. The dragon roll tasted stale, the pasta was cold, like it had been microwaved. The fries left a bad after taste. We left most of the food, as we could not eat it. The waitress called the manager, who was defensive, and she apologized, but with so much attitude that it didn't even feel like she cared! I have gone here several times, always hoping it'll be a better experience than the previous visit. I keep hearing that's it's on some top Mississauga restaurant, but it's always been disappointing. Food is fine, but never great. I guess I just find it over-rated. Last time I went I ordered the chicken panang noodle bowl, it came out so wet and weirdly sweet. Food quality and beer selection aren't exhaustive, but all menu items are palatable and unadventurous. Great place to unwind if you don't mind the bustle of the sports crowd.

What a great atmosphere for any day of the week and any occasion. The staff are really friendly and the venue is well kept. Specifically would like to say thank you to Alicia for making my experience above and beyond my expectations (which were already high). The food is delicious - had the Dijon lemon salmon which was perfect. I didn’t have to wait to be seated and was checked on numerous times throughout the evening. I never once asked for a refill and always had my drink full. I am very impressed and definitely will be coming back to try something else very soon!

Not my kind of restaurant. Music was a bit fast for when you're trying to eat, and the burger I ordered didn't have the best bun for the size of the burger. Other than that the food and atmosphere was good .

This restaurant got great reviews and I had to try it. It was super busy and there was a rather long wait time. The level of noise was really bad. My friend and I sat next to each other to try to hear each other, but even talking very loudly wasn't good enough. It made for a lousy experience and the food was mediocre at best. Disappointing

Food was great. Had a green salad with seared Tuna. Very fresh and tasty. Only complaint is that it's a bit too social and the could use some noise mitigation as it's very loud. Was having a network lunch and had to shout to communicate...maybe I'm just getting old?

Found a drain fly in my burger after cutting it in half. Waitress was not sympathetic at all, but the manager somewhat was and gave us a free meal. However, we did not order anything else because of the loss of appetite due to the drain fly and the pasta was very bland.

Great place for a get-together with colleagues or friends. Key lime dessert especially nice. Leslie is probably the best server I have ever experienced. Noise levels at peak periods are a bit overwhelming. Reserve ahead if you can as they are busy.

Service was good. Food is not fresh and tastes like the boxes it comes out of. For the price they charge they really need to up their game on the quality of the food and the cleanliness of their eating plates cups and utensils.

Although they do not serve raddlers here the waiter was willing to make one for us...great service and yummy food. Will be definitely be going back. Had the fish and chips, dips and dragon roll. All fantastic tasting!

Food is tasty. They put too much frennch fries to cover the small potion for the main meal. Service is good. Place is too loud, and service tend to be too slow when busy.

Good place for groups. Good variety of food. All classic bar options with a trendy twist. They don't offer anything on the menu they can't make well. I recommend any of the burgers with the parmesan truffle fries or social dragon roll.

Ok let's just say that this place is a unique cupcake that looks nice but horrible when you taste it (doesn't make sense but whatever). Went there last night with my wife and 1 year old. Ordered the Tacos - Shrimp & Pulled Pork. The shrimp tacos were amazing and so delicious; the pulled pork could've been a little bit more hot... was luke warm, and left a wonky taste. Had to order the shrimp tacos again after. Asked about 1 slice of Avacado for our little one; server said $6... LMAO All in all, atmosphere was okay; pretty dark at the tables. Would I come back? Probably yes; but during the day. Word to Management - Please don't do cash outs in front of the bar in plain sight of customers.

Union Social Eatery is probably one of my favourite "chain" restaurants. There's good food, good ambiance, and overall a nice atmosphere whether for professional/work-related lunches or after work drinks. I would recommend the coconut/banana chicken (sounds really gross - but really good) and fish & chips if you're less adventurous.

Service is friendly and relatively quick. I ordered the "Herbed Brie Double Chicken", which was less "Double chicken breast" and more "single chicken thigh made to look like a chicken breast". Food was tasty nonetheless. Good selection of beer though.

Good, but I've had this experience twice now that the waiters would forget to bring misc items like condiments or refills. Food is great, seating is exceptional, service is fairly friendly.. but i think the place needs more diversity (in terms of staff hires), looks like I've stepped into Abercrombie and Fitch.

Returned for lunch today and was served by Leslie who provided wonderful service! Fast and friendly. I had the chicken fingers (craving from my last visit) and they were as amazing as last time! Enjoyed the potato bacon soup as a side and had a great meal. If you have not been here yet, it is an absolute must try! The atmosphere is great, service is top notch and the food is excellent!

Went here for brunch on Sunday and was not disappointed! Our server Amanda and the general manager Rony were very accommodating and everyone had a great time. Location is great for groups and their veggie burgers are top notch! Can't go wrong with any of the desserts too. Would return!
