Here we offer you all the opinions of people who have information of the services of Twin Fish (Restaurant) in Mississauga (Canada).
At present the business gets a rating of 4.5 out of 5 and this score was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that the average score it has is virtually the best one, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the valuation is quite credible. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant belongs to the category of Thai restaurant.
Stale tofu in the stir fried noodles. Felt unwell within one hour of leaving the restaurant.
Was expecting more but was a bit disappointed. The calamari and the coconut soup was very average. We also had the curry pad Thai, basil fried rice and Thai chilli chicken. The chilli chicken was very hard and unlike any other chilli chicken I have ever eaten. Curry pad Thai was incredibly spicy and didn't enjoy it. The basil fried rice was also average. Twin fish has very good reviews so I was surprised at the flavors. Bamboo legend in Mississauga is leaps and bounds better for the exact same dishes. Having said that, the service was excellent and ambience was good too.
We ate delicious Pad Thai and enjoyed the welcoming and friendly atmosphere here. The staff treated us like family. Would recommend for the ambience and art alone, but the food sealed the deal.
Great place tucked among other restaurants, easy to miss - - but you'll definitely want to put it on your list. Attentive service even when busy, good portion sizes.
It's evident the owners and staff care about the overall experience and satisfaction of clientele. My only qualm is the green curry is too sweet. Service, portions, taste ????
Fresh and amazing food here. Best Pad Thai in town! You pay for the quality. Place is quaint so reserve if needed. Call ahead for take out!
BEWARE if you have allergies. Came here with my mother visiting from abroad and she was shocked at the TERRIBLE level of service and unprofessional staff. I have an allergy to certain ingredients and wanted less oil. I asked if they would be able to cook with water. Restaurant owner was across the table but did not approach our table, instead abruptly refused the request and was extremely rude. Service was terrible Food is over-rated perhaps with payed likes Owner extremely rude SAVE YOUR MONEY.
It just got added as my new fav resturant. Food was A+. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. Pricing was affordable, we ordered two apps and three main and it came up to $80. Given the place was packed, the wait time was reasonable. Def will be a repeat customer.
Hidden gem in Mississauga. One of the best Thai restaurants in the city. I often have to travel downtown Toronto for authentic and delicious Thai food. Glad to be introduced to this place. Located in the Cineplex Theatres plaza at Courtney Park. We ordered two of their signature dishes: their pad Thai, (1) crab spring roll and their (2) Thai Smoked Shrimp fried rice. Didn't get a chance to try their curries but would definitely come back here whenever I want Thai food. Friendly service, decent portions and fairly priced.
Great food. Tried most of their menu, all good. Consistent quality.
Love this place, everything is awesome. One of the hidden gems for sure and I've been a local for many years. Chicken satay was our fav !!
This place is absolutely scrumptious!! The green curry is so flavourful (def my fav)! Everyone needs to try this place at least once! You will be addicted!
Very average food. Almost everything has loads of sodium and salt. Consider this place if you have nothing better to do at the mall and no other place to eat.
Visited this place on Monday the 31st for dinner with a visitor from out of town, the table was rickety. there were fruit flies. the spring rolls were bland and tasteless and to top it all: the ginger chicken had slices of garlic which were raw- they were only coated with the sauce. I had heard so many good things about this place. I am disappointed and I will not be back. What a waste of money....
This place is good but the quality imo is lower compared to other similarly priced Thai restaurant. If the price was lower then 4 star.
Honestly the food is absolutely amazing - 5 stars. I can't stop thinking about it. Just called and they are closed until October 29th. I will be the first in line when they open. The red snapper fillet is awesome. Pictures don't do it justice. And the green curry chicken mmmm mmmm mmmm. And did I mention the service - best Thai restaurant I've been to!! Can't wait till you reopen!!!
Their Khao Soi is the best in west GTA. Also tried their lamb shank and althought slightly overcooked it was extremely delicious. I ordered for takeout today but I also like going in because it is a nice cozy and upscale feeling atmosphere plus the staff is very friendly. I'm glad I found this place 5 years ago. Great food and great service.
It's our first time in this restaurant and we are very, very grateful for the experience. By far the best service I've encountered in any restaurant, plus amazing food for a very reasonable price. The staff are super nice and genuine. Despite how busy or crowded the place, they find time to check on you and serve with smile on their faces. Excellent all in all.
Delicious and fresh food, friendly staff, and peaceful atmosphere! Our family loves it!
My wife and I are regular customers who try to make the trek from work in downtown Toronto to make it for the lunch special that ends at 3 pm. The restaurant is close to our children’s school so we can pick them up immediately after. Today we arrived at 2:30 pm and walked in as we normally do. The hostess told us she can’t serve us for 25 minutes as the kitchen staff is taking a break to eat. We mentioned the lunch special and to our shock and embarrassment in front of all the customers that were having lunch, she said we can sit but we won’t get service for 25 minutes. It was painfully obvious they didn’t care about keeping us as customers - all while the other patrons and other staff were watching! This is probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Even though it clearly doesn’t matter to the restaurant and it’s management, they lost loyal customers, embarrassed us and turned us away forcing us to find an alternative place to eat. We are so incredibly disappointed but felt we needed to post this review. When it’s this bad, people should know.
From the moment we walked it the door it was a pleasant experience. The aroma that lures you in at the door will take your breath away in the most amazing way. All the staff members were kind and went out of their way to be helpful. The decor is minimal but tasteful and very clean so it is easy to unwind and relax. The chair was super comfy too! The music played in the background was a breath of fresh air. Honestly, just the best experience. Will be back for sure!
This place is ok. Good to have decent Thai food on the west side of the city. Service was really poor because they only had 2 staff working the dining room on a busy night but the food itself was good! Was a tad spicy on everything but manageable. Sorry didn't take photos of the other food though.
Came highly recommended from a friend...but was not as great...probably should have ordered the 1 dish she highly recommended- ordered everything except that dish! Lol.
Their pad Thai is very delicious!!! The lady at the front was very nice. She suggested green curry which I enjoyed very much and Thai Ice tea I have never tried and loved it! Great customer service!
This is the place to go for great Thai food. Good flavour, and nice balance of spice.
Food and service both were excellent. As a result, this restaurant can get busy and sometimes there's a bit of a wait for the table and food. Worth the wait though. Staff is very willing to customize the food too.
Small and cozy restaurant near cineplex. Perfect for movie and dinner. The food was really good and the service was great too. Will be back for sure.
We've been coming here for years. The food is always amazing and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The green curry & Thai chilli chicken are my favorite dishes.
The food was absolutely divine and I loved every bit of it. The Red Snapper fillet with Thai curry was my favourite and I would recommend everyone to get it! Love this spot and I would definitely eat here again!
One of the best Thai food in the gta yet. Highly recommended the peanut sauce chicken and lamb curry with coconut rice.
Fantastic food! Got the Red Curry Chicken lunch special and it was perfect. Great service too. Highly recommend!
really busy but so good
Got the Bangkok Street Style noodles - hold the peanuts, was amazing. Service is one of the best I've had in Mississauga. Really recommend if your looking for some Thai Food in Sauga
Absolutely love the food here! Consistently good quality and taste. Ambiance is great and the servers are friendly. Delicious Thai food!
Excellent food, service and ambience. I just wished the restaurant was in a bigger venue cause it can get pretty crowded in there. But if you want quality Thai food then this place is a must. I definitely will be coming back for more. Thank you Twin Fish.
Meal type
Amazing food and amazing service! It’s a family owned restaurant, and they really take pride in their craft. We got the red snapper and garlic beef, and both were delicious. Highly recommend!
Very tasty dishes with friendly services, I would definitely come back. Pad Thai is highly recommended here.
First, I ordered the Thai iced tea. Then as a starter, my usual go-to order is the classic mango salad. The unexpected generous portion of the salad was great for sharing and the crispy dried onions gave it a nice added flavour and crunchy texture. For the main, we ordered the garlic lamb with jasmine rice and red curry chicken with coconut rice. Lamb isn't usually my first choice, but because it was recommended to me twice (first by a friend, and then by the owner herself) I just had to try it! It definitely did not disappoint and was so delicious! The garlic lamb was so tender, tasty and full of flavour without leaving an aftertaste. The red curry was the perfect level of medium spiciness to our liking, with sweet tones from the pineapple. Both dishes were excellent!
Came here last week and as usual, they did not disappoint. As much as I was craving their Bangkok Street Style Pad Thai (my go-to dish), I decided to try something different and went with the Red Snapper Filet in Thai Curry. It was so unbelievably delicious - a massive piece of perfectly fried fish swimming in a creamy curry, slightly tart from the lemon, a bit sweet from the coconut milk, and just the perfect amount of spice...and let’s not forget the five giant pieces of shrimp! The food is always ridiculously flavourful and the service is so inviting and friendly. Twin Fish is my absolute favourite Thai restaurant in Mississauga.
This is typical Thai restaurant with many choices of dishes. The place is very clean and service is excellent. I got Chicken pad Thai. The quantity was sufficient and it came within 5 minutes of my order. So definitely the ingredients were made before and mixed and prepared as per order, which means it was not freshly cooked on whole. May be this is the way they cook. Usually it takes around 20 minutes in any restaurant to get your food. The taste was good, however, I found chicken little stiff and not soft because I like tender, but quantity was good. The staff is very good and professional.
Best Thai food I had. You can taste they put their heart and soul to the food they make each time. The service is excellent too.
The food is always excellent. This is my go-to Thai food restaurant in Mississauga!
So I randomly decided to try this place because it's close to my new work place and I'm so glad I did! I got the lunch combo where you can choose from 3 kinds of curries (either with chicken, beef or vegetables) along with rice and soup of the day. On this particular day, the soup was chicken wonton soup. I really enjoyed the food.. the soup was refreshing and not overpowering flavor wise. I could tell it was fresh because the veggies still had their crunch and it was bright green. The green curry was was really good! It had ample amount of chicken and veggies. The whole thing was around 15$ and I think that's a really good price for the amount on food. This is at least 2 meals for me! Service was also quick and efficient. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a big smile from the owner. He even chatted with me during the 5 minutes I was waiting for my for my food which I thought was really sweet. Will be definitely going back again for lunch to try their other stuff all the other reviews mentioned.
Definitely a jem in the middle of Mississauga. This place is a keeper and one that you can keep going back to! The price is so resonable and the food is absolutely delicious!!!! What an amazing witness of Christian faith - so subtle yet so strong. I'm completely amazed and just so grateful for Twin Fish and your ability to stand up for your faith yet provide incredible quality food with out of this world service. The servers were so kind and customer service was on point! Looking forward to coming back here with more friends and family and once again thank you Twin Fish for a wonderful evening.
My favorite spot for dining. Try the garlic lamp it's the best. Everything here is good. Friendly staff ,excellent service.
I really wanted to like this restaurant based on the reviews however my experience was not good. I ordered the tofu cashew stir fry and drove 20 minutes out of my way to pick it up. When I got to my friends house and opened the container it was in fact chicken stir fry and not tofu. I'm a vegan therefore I couldnt eat it. It was a total waste of my money as I then had to order food that I could eat. Sadly I don't know if I'll be back based on this experience.
Delicious authentic Thai food! Lovely workers, love the Christian background music that they play as well.
Amazing, we had the spring rolls and beef satay to start. The beef satay was so delicious, and the spring rolls were hot and fresh. The main entree had the lamb curry . So good !!! by far the better restaurant i have been to in a while. The food is prepared fresh not a chain!
My second time visiting this place and I loved it as much as my first visit. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff is very friendly and I felt that no matter what we ordered from their menu, the food was very very tasty. I've taken some pictures that might have y'all out. Would highly recommend this place.
Good food, the pad Thai and fish were good... The fried rice was very plain. Went there on a Saturday evening, they would not take a reservation over the phone. Obviously very busy (there isn't that much room to wait by the door). The staff was very busy, but very friendly. Food came in a timely fashion.
Amazing food. Fresh and great customer service. Love this place. It’s a bit pricey comparatively to other Thai restaurants but it’s so worth it.
Good food great ambiance.. generally full, reservations recommended. Impressive service.
Food and service are always good. The flavour profile of some of the dishes fall on the sweeter side; however the green curry remains my favourite in the city.
Me and my gf have been coming here for 3 years. The dining is such a beautiful and romantic experience. The food is amazing. The thai noodles and basil fried rice are amazing.
Lovely thai restaurant! I thought the menu would be mainly seafood due to the name but I was pleasantly surprised with a wide variety of dishes that looked delicious! I would recommend the Mango salad and Pad Thai as a first time choice ☺️
My favourite Thai resto in Mississauga. The restaurant has this homey feeling. The staff are nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable. And their food is very delicious. My favourite is the red curry ????
My husband and I have been to Twin fish twice now. We definitely enjoyed everything about our visit. We are new to Thai food. When we looked at all the ingredients we thought ???? how do these flavors go together! They are so tasty try the Basil fish with coconut rice so good. Green curry is equally delicious a little spicy for me but I enjoy it with coconut rice a must have. We most definitely recommend this restaurant.
Loved every item we tried. This was our first takeout from here and simply enjoyed - crab fried rice, tofu khao soi and the pad thai. Must say every dish had a wonderful flavor. I was skeptical about the khao soi since I am extremely particular about it and not many thai places have impressed me with but this is good. The pad thai definitely is too good - I tried it specifically since it was one of the popular items and that's very true. Also I liked it that the peanuts were given on the side and not added to pad thai. Crab fried rice was my first time try ever and it is delicious and may be will become my constant take away from this place. Good price and good portion. Highly recommended!
A favorite place for my friends and I. Our go to order is their red thai curry and bangkok style pad thai.... always perfect! Highly recommend.
Love love love their food! We go to twin fish every second week as we enjoy the food that much! From the service to the quality and taste of food, it’s top notch! Highly recommend!
Found this place on google while looking for a place to have dinner after cherry picking,The place is really nice, the staffs are very friendly! The food is amazing, we had red snapper with curry sauce, thai fried rice with shrimp paste and chicken satay skewer with peanut sauce.. Highly recommended, first timing dining here and its amazing!!
Red snapper with basil sauce my favourite. I asked for spicy which is not super spicy. So I think mild would be with just a hint of spicy.
Great place if you want good quality Thai food. They even make it at Thai spicy level, which is amazing. Go-to place for Thai food in Mississauga.
I so enjoyed my food!! I had fish.....so good and tasty. The atmosphere was grand and price very reasonable. Fantastic place for a quick bite, a date or a business meeting.????
Decent Thai place. Curry pad thai and vegetarian spring roll were really good however the green thai curry wasn't as good. Tasted a little like something I have made at home from a store bought paste. There was also alot of oil dripping out of the spring roll which I didn't like. It's a cute restaurant and definitely clean.
Dinner
We visited on Christmas eve and bit disappointed to learn that they are serving dinner menu instead of lunch menu. This made ordering the items to very limited choices especially for a vegetarian like me. I hope they will include few more vegetarian options in the dinners menu as well such as Pad Ki Mao, Pad Thai etc.
Love going here all the time. Their food is delicious. I get the green curry every time I go and it is absolutely amazing. Also for dessert I love getting the sticky rice with coconut cream and mango, it is mouth wateringly good.
Great food, flavours, diverse menu options are impressive. Tom Yum Soup, BBQ Chicken Pad Thai( I believe it's only available at lunch), Cold Rolls are my Fav's, I LUV all their dishes( haven't had one I didn't like yet)!! Usually busy, service is good.. If you enjoy Thai food, it's a must visit!!
Friendly staff, good service. Nice ambiance. Food was good, nothing amazing though. Prices were very reasonable. We're definitely not opposed to going back to this restaurant, but we are in no rush either. In conclusion, it was a good restaurant. If you're in the area, definitely would recommend you try it.
Twin Fish is the diamond of Mississauga and has the best Thai cuisine of the GTA. The food is delicious & bursting with layers of flavour. Portion sizes are generous and prices very reasonable. The service is absolutely impeccable. This family run business is my favorite, you can see the passion and honour in what they do. It's a weekly go to for my Mother and I. She has been unwell and each time we are there, we are warmly greeted and they raise her spirits with their kindness. I would give them a 10 star. Lorella (Lori)
Great food and awesome staff. The fried shrimp was not as great but the soup and chicken dish were amazing. Their fried rice were wonderful. We enjoyed the family dinner at Twin fish.
Super tasty fresh Thai food. Service is always fast and friendly. Great family vibe
Very tasty Asian fusion food, the fish is exceptional!
Didn't like the basil fried rice w/chicken. No flavor at all. Service was good. Red curry was okay. Had better thai food in and around sauga.
Decent food, had the Bangkok street style pad thai and red curry...pad thai was avg and the chicken had no flavour, red curry was good. Staff is friendly and service is good.
Called ahead and was told the name had changed from spoon and fork to Twin Fish, but that they were open. Upon arriving at 9:30, we found the hours on their door noting they are open until 10pm and the open sign illuminated. However, upon entering we were told that they were closed. Such a shame.
Delicious food, varied menu and quality, fresh, ingredients. Twin Fish is our Mom's favourite restaurant, so for her 83rd birthday we surprised her with takeout, and how pleased we're we too! Gracious, kind owners who care about everyone and everything.
Spot on one more Thai food place. The Thai style noodle was good + the ambiance. Good for a family bite together.
Very friendly staff and very cozy place. Good food, reason price and reasonable wait time. If you go on a regular weekday around lunch time, it gets busy and you might need to wait to be seated. I always love their lunch special Pai Thai with Grilled Chicken very tasty!
Extremely pleased with the food and customer service. I ordered the seafood dish with scallops, shrimp, crab sticks and squid and a side order of jasmine rice and the flavor was AMAZING. I was with a group of 7 and we all enjoyed our food and trust me, we were hesitant at first because this was our first time eating at Twin Fish. To top it off our Waiter didn't even write down our order, which he didn't have to because he remembered it all, even our names. Pretty impressive!
This place is one the best thai restaurants in the city. We ordered Bangkok Style Pad Thai and the Thai Chilli Chicken and both were so delicious and flavourful - we wiped the plates clean. They are now open with a nice patio too and plenty of space for social distancing. I highly recommend checking this place out - you won't be disappointed. #SupportSmallBusiness
Oh, my! So, so good! Plump, hot Thai Spring rolls, flavorful Mango Chicken on coconut rice and Citrusy Bankok street style Pad Thai. We'll be back!
Had dinner here with a friend last week, it’s a regular go to for her (for many years), first time for me and I enjoyed our visit. Week night and 730, so it wasn’t busy. Food came quickly, server was friendly and very polite. The decorations and atmosphere are nice, religious sayings around that spread some positivity. General Tao chicken with coconut rice was yummy. Will return.
Took my family for dinner yesterday and the food was yummy, the staff is amazing giving personal and friendly attention. It was my wife's birthday and they made it special. Recommend 5 stars!!! . Thank you Twin Fish!!!
The food was pretty good , but I feel like they crammed too many tables into a small area, and the waiter didn’t even let us know the kitchen was closing , which they closed at 10:15, it would have been nice to have some dessert.
We went to Twin Fish for a family celebration. The place has a nice ambiance and good food. It did however take a bit for time for us to get the attention of a server each time we wanted to order something, but overall, we enjoyed ourselves.
Service
The most authentic restaurant we could find in Toronto. Tried a LOT of Thai places including a zagat-rated one, but Twin Fish still takes the crown. The only place we could find a fish dish like we had in Ao Nang or mango sticky like i had in Bangkok but they upped that by using purple sticky rice not white rice!! And we've never had bad service from them. Just one warning, if you can't take spice, don't try their spicy dishes, they make it pretty close to Thailand standards, which does not compromise on their heat! If you can take a little bit of spice, try their red snapper with Thai curry...omggggggg...so good.
One of my absolute favourite places to eat. Phenomenal staff who are so friendly, helpful, always smiling and service is outstanding. Tried the basil fried rice, basil chicken hot, Vietnamese spring rolls and the green curry chicken... all the dishes were on point, delicious and filling. Definitely recommend this place to check out and you will be a repeat customer. Many who visit here are very loyal customers. Thank to Twin Fish!! See you soon.
Really great place to try. Service was great and friendly. Food was amazing. And the atmosphere was nice. Portions are okay. Not the largest but shareable if you wanted.
Went for my father's 60th birthday. Meal was excellent, service was great with servers being quick and efficient. Highly recommend.
Always delicious, friendliest staff I've ever met at a restaurant. Definitely a fan. Been back and planning to go back soon
This place was packed. Clearly very popular. And for good reason. I Had the basil fish for lunch. Super tasty. High quality ingredients at very reasonable price. The waiter saw that we were waiting so they gave us menus at the door and by the time we sat down to eat the food was ready within minutes. The staff were all very kind and made the experience very enjoyable.
Truly one of the good Thai restaurants I have been to in Mississauga. The place is small but if you make reservations you will be fine. The seating is comfortable and the ambience in the restaurant is really nice. The food was simply amazing, everything from appetizers to the main dishes was superb. I highly recommend the Panang curry. Will definitely be visiting again soon, it is one of my favourite restaurants in Mississauga now.
Food is always fresh and amazing!!!!! My husband and I think Twin Fish is a special place, thus, we save our visits there for special occasions. We have never been disappointed!!!
Food is fresh and great tasting. Authentic Thai flavours. Excellent service. Their happy birthday song is awesome! ????
I would say the best Thai restaurant in Mississauga. I take all my friends from out of town here so they can experience excellent service and food. My favourites are either the green or red curry with chicken and shrimp. Cannot go wrong if you're looking for authentic Thai food.
Dinner
Delicious, flavourful food and great service. I've only been to the Eglinton Ave location. Good portions and good value. All in all, you can't go wrong having a meal here.
My husband and I headed here on a whim, we had a coupon from our local Entertainment book. I had the shrimp with cashew nut and coconut rice, there were so many shrimp I ended up sharing them. The dish was amazing, a nice sweet heat, lots of veggies and cashews, no skimping at all. My husband had the red snapper with shrimp and coconut rice, and he too thoroughly enjoyed his meal. We had the crab rolls for an appetizer, they were delicious and delicate. I wanted to have the coconut rice with mango for dessert, but was so full I ended up taking it home, it makes for the perfect breakfast! We will most definitely be back!
Ordered a stir fried spicy beef and mango chicken via Uber was totally disappointed by the quantity.$16 -18 for a small sized half full container is way over priced. Stir fried vegetables were no where close to stir fried. The chicken seemed uncooked. Had called the restaurant to confirm the portion of the dishes that was ordered, they confirmed thats what they provide. Didn't consider providing alternative solutions. My kids too mentioned that the food tasted horrible!!! Will not try this again.
Friendly staff and delicious thai food. One of my favourite restaurants to go to when in Mississauga. Food quality is always consistent and service, always impeccable. If going at lunch hour, worth calling ahead to reserve. Usually a wait here.
The food is authentic and outstanding. The service is impeccable with all staff being respectful and attentive. The restaurant is bright and clean and welcoming. Have been several times and would go back again and again.
Outstanding value, exceptional service. The took care of a party of 18 for us with ease. For Thai, this place is very hard to bet - highly recommend!
On point Thai food with really fair pricing! Has to be one of the best in GTA! Can't wait for dine in to be open again, I'll be first in line!!! ????☺
The food is delicious. The service could be a bit faster maybe. Sometimes it's half full and it still takes a while to get food. The service is friendly. The Thai Basil Fish for lunch is highly recommended.
Food and service was excellent... they have the best Thai basil fried rice... everything we had was really good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant... this is our new restaurant for Thai food.
It's just okay. Nothing to tell my friends about. Been many Thai restaurants and this was at the bottom of the barrel in terms of decor, service, food quality. A lot of improvement required especially in the entrees and attentiveness.
We went for lunch and had the pad thai and green curry. Awesome spot and the hosts were constantly smiling. Will definitely go back. Thanks!
Small restaurant with cozy ambiance, tasty food and nice service. Love their mango salad. Definitely recommend. One of my favourite restaurants in Mississauga. The food here is delicious and the people are super friendly. Definitely recommend giving this restaurant a try. The dishes that we usually order are: Thai smoked shrimp paste fried rice - one of their most unique dishes that they offer. This is probably the only place that we know that offers this dish. It's a fried rice with variety of seafood. The flavour just amazing. It's so good, it's hard to describe the taste. Crab spring rolls - Also really good, definitely a must try. Not the same as your typical spring rolls you find in restaurant. This ones light and flavourful. Pad see ew with chicken - the noodles have a perfect texture, the chicken is very tender and not dry and the portion size is pretty good too. Appetizer platter - nice variety of appetizers, very filling for one person. Everything was delicious. It comes with spring rolls, chicken and beef skewer, calamari, fresh rolls and shrimp chips. We really like the chicken skewers, it was juicy and flavourful. We also liked the calamari, they were lightly battered. Crab fried rice and the garlic beef on rice are also good options we like. Super friendly staff, big portions of delicious food!
Had a good time here. The food was great. The orders came fast. The servers all had a great smile and were very helpful in helping us order. Loved the entire experience.
Amazing food! Love the curry pumpkin soup, stick rice and mango dessert, red snapper and mango chicken with coconut rice....I would eat here everyday if I could!
Amazing Thai food. Very filling and well flavoured. Enjoyed every bite! Portions come in different packing than shown in the photo. Takeout serving sizes are good for 1-2 people. A little more pricier, but definitely worth it!
The food was expensive compared to other Thai places but definitely not comparable in quality and taste. The mango shake was pretty bad when I got it.
This is my family's favorite takeout/dine in restaurant. The food is always fresh, never greasy, tastes healthy and delicious! Friendly and personable staff. Highly recommended Thai food!
The best Thai food places in Mississauga. The food is amazing, the place is super classy and nice ambience! The staff are super polite and service is good! The place has a positive vibe. I have ordered the chicken and shrimp pineapple fried rice, pad thai, mango chicken, mango salad etc. They are SO GOOD. You are missing out if you haven't been here yet
Love their food. Have been here on a number of occasions. Amazing service and excellent food quality. Love the setting of the restaurant.
Twin Fish is our favourite Thai restaurant in the GTA. My family and I have been going here for YEARS and I have never been disappointed. From the food, to the staff - always an unforgettable experience. It is the ideal location for a family dinner, birthday celebration, date night etc. Great atmosphere and very conveniently located. Our personal favourite that I would highly recommend is the Red Snapper Basil Sauce, it is made to perfection. I can not tell you how many times I've had cravings for this dish. We've also had the Hot and Sour Soup, Tom Yum Soup, Curry Pad Thai and the various curry dishes and they were all so good! But honestly, you can choose anything on the menu and you can't go wrong. And if you get Joe as your server which we normally do, it will only add to your evening. He is very personable and makes you feel like family. He also knows the dishes very well so feel free to ask him if you feel hesitant about one of the menu options. Looking forward to our next visit!
Delicious food. Medium place but great ambiance. We were a large group and it was a great experience.
very great food. All staff super friendly with nice suggestions. Food top of quality and presentation. Thank you.
Great food. Amazing service. best Red Snapper I've had!! Will go back.
It is tasty comparing to other Thai restaurants in Mississauga, but I feel that the taste is not authentic enough considering the price that I am paying for.
I love this place! Food is delicious no matter what we choose & the staff are super friendly!
One of my favorite places to eat Thai/Viet food in Canada. My wife and I have been coming to this place for over 15 years and the quality of the food, the service and the background music they play have no comparison. The fact that the waiter remembers the food you ate the last time you came to the restaurant gives you an idea of how much they care and the effort to make you feel at home.
My girlfriend and I have been a customer for a few years, the food has been consistently good. One of the BEST spots for hot & sour soups in the GTA! The picture features the hot and sour soup, chicken basil fried rice and chilli chicken. At first a few years ago, the customer service needed improvement in terms of speed, but not any more. Friendly waiters and great customer service!
Great food and very kind service!
Excellent! Golden curry was amazing. But the pumpkin coconut milk curry soup?! Incredible. The mixed seafood this was also really tasty, unfortunately though, they put imitation crab meat… Like those packaged sticks that you buy the grocery store. That was super disappointing and almost turned me off of the whole experience. But I picked them out, and still enjoyed it. The flavor was amazing otherwise. Everything smelled and tasted great and the service was excellent. (but they sure had a hilarious way of wrapping up the utensils!! See my posted pics...) So tastey. Top notch Thai I’ve had in Toronto area. Please check them out!! My friend and I had five dishes and all were amazing. Pad thai wasn’t as good as the rest but was still delish. Definitely worth checking this place out. They have certain selections on the menu, which is very extensive by the way, that are highlighted as their favorites, but we opted to choose the dishes that weren’t recommended. They still blew me out of the water with the flavor and complexity of everything. It really was a surprise! They were open late as well so we had a 8:30 PM dinner on Monday. Overall - 5 stars. Now I will follow up with this, the next day I had terrible indigestion likely from the seafood dish.
This place was great. The staff were extremely friendly and the place was very clean (even the bathroom - see pic). The mango shake was amazing! It was very thick, just the way I like it. The chilli chicken was fantastic, and the other dishes were great as well. The fried bananas with honey were one of the best I've had - the batter was light and just right. Paid with coconut ice cream, it was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back.
Love love love this place. Amazing food, amazing service!!! My family has been going for years and will still be going for years to come. We get the best service and food every time we go there. Never disappointed.
First time tried it on my way back to Toronto from Hamilton. Had a craving on the highway for Thai food. Located in Courtney park plaza. Upon arriving I knew it was going to be good as the fine in area was full. My takeout, Chicken Pad Thai, spicy Beef, and chicken fried rice. Got home in the next 28 min and good was still piping hot and veggies were not soggy. Every dish was amazing, a little bit pricey but quality was there, pad Thai was $16.00 and rice $13.00 and beef $15.00. Will go again if in area.
If you want great food give Twin Fish a try. We had a fabulous dinner. The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. Their cold rolls (especially the mango one) are so delicious. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. We will definitely order again. Try it!! You won't be disappointed.
I randomly decided to stop and have an appetizer just to get some time on a patio. I am so glad I chose this place in the theatre district at Courtney Park. Their coconut shrimp was absolutely fire! It could have used a tiny bit more seasoning but it was a good portion and the size of the shrimp looked to be more than jumbo. Great great place.
Excellent decor, cleanlyness and customer service. Food is fresh. Personally I did not like the taste. My cashewnut shrimp was overpowered with sweeetness.
Went to their small patio for lunch. Good portions, delicious food, and great service!
Food was delicious but the service was terrible. Staff were more interested in socializing with each other than serving us.
This place is a gem! 5 stars all the way! The coconut soup was amazing and Pad Thai simply perfect!
Love love love it here! Staff are so kind and and the place is so cute and cosy. They get busy on Saturdays so don't forget to make a reservation!
We had a wonderful meal at Twin Fish. The spring rolls were amazing. The coconut soup was mind blowing. But the top spot of the meal was an amazing red thai curry snapper or the Bangkok style pad thai. The fish was delicate and flavorful. I have always loved pad thai. The chicken was super tender and the shrimp were perfect. Had a real hard time choosing the mains were ate. Had 4 other things I really wanted to try. Next time. Service was amazing. The in house made hot sauce is worth trying if you like heat. Update, went back and the spicy pumpkin soup is now also on my regular order. It will take me a minute to work my way through the whole menu but looking forward to it.
Worst experience I ever had in my life, never will go back. They dont know what lemon grass soupe is. Other foods were also below standard.
I love Twin Fish. The food is always on point! My favourite go to Thai spot. Love the service and the food! Authentic pad Thai flavour, excellent ambience and dining area.
My wife and I have been to Thailand many times... Even took cooking lessons on authentic Thai cuisine in Thailand... And we have yet to find a better Thai restaurant that recreates those flavors! Joseph and his staff are amazing. The restaurant is always busy... But clean and well run. Book early... But go! It's a must for any Thai food lovers!
1st time going. When I arrived the girl who took my order was at the front she was very pleasant and washed her hands between each customer. Got home had dinner and the food was delicious, fresh flavourful. Really good food thx
If you're in the area it is a must try. Their spring rolls and soups to start are both delicious choices. When it comes to mains from curries to meats and vegetarian or seafood they are all incredible.
We went there for lunch and to celebrate a co-workers birthday. They accommodated our request and stored the cake in the fridge. The food was delicious and the service was quick and exceptional. Definitely recommend anyone try this for a Thai experience.
I would say the food was "Very Good" by typical Thai restaurant standards (in the region). Our shrimp appetizer was well seasoned but overcooked. The calamari was excellent and I highly recommend it. Two Pad Thai's for our entrees. Again well flavoured, sauced, and seasoned. Certainly better then spring rolls, but not exactly the lux you'd expect by other reviews on here. Still, that is not intended as a complaint. Just a reality check given it's scores are similar to a Michelin restaurant. Service was good and prompt (though it took some time to get the bill - we eventually gave up and went up to pay). It's a bit over rated on here, but it is certainly a good restaurant. We'll be back and it's easily the best option in Courtney Park. $100 for two with two drinks each, appetizers, main course, and tip.
Twin fish is a exquisite thai restaurant! The service is wonderful and the food is really delectable. The food takes a little longer to come out, but everything is made on the spot so it's worth it for the quality and freshness of the dishes. I ordered the basil seafood and it was marvelous! I really enjoyed the overal atmosphere of the establishment too, the art and decor really gives this place a classier vibe. My only comment would be the tables seem somewhat small, but honestly once you try the food you couldn't care less about the table size lol. Overall a fantastic meal and restaurant.
Great service. Food is tasty and authentic. Covid protocol in place and tables are distance apart. Would recommend and come again.
Good taste of the Tom yum soup, but surprisingly found a piece of bad tomato :( - I hope this is just an accident. Shrimps meet my lowest level of Thai experience lol Could be fresher. Both Thai Salad and Beef Golden Thai Curry are Chinese Thai lol Oh, the water and after meal candy is good. They deserve a picture:)
You have to go, this place is a must!! I went after several coworkers spoke highly about this restaurant. The staff was very helpful and were pleasant from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Richard helped us was such a warm individual and a great server. The atmosphere is greeting, clean and the service was fast. The presentation of our appetizers to our entrees was beyond my expectations. Will I be back, YES -- would I recommend Twin Fish, ABSOLUTELY!
Had a great time at Twin Fish for a friend's birthday dinner last night. The staff are accommodating, polite, knowledgeable and very friendly. Service was quick even though the tiny establishment was at capacity. Food was tasty and very well priced, I will definitely be back soon.
Absolutely excellent restaurant. Not only is the food amazing, but the service is absolutely untouchable. They are just really good, kind and amazing people working at Twin Fish. Case in point: today we were seated by the door of the restaurant and every time the door opened my mom was getting very cold. We had left the house in a rush and she forgot to put a sweater on. The staff went out of their way to first of all, make sure the door remained closed as much as possible and then, when they were able to, we were moved to another table where my mom would be more comfortable. Just really kind people who want the best for their customers. The food, as always was amazing. This was my second visit and I decided on trying something different. The curries were tasty and paired wonderfully with the coconut rice. I plan on bringing more friends by so everyone can get to know what a truly wonderful place Twin Fish is.
Good Thai, very friendly service.
Service
The very first time I had tried Thai food was from twin fish, my husband had took me out on a date here back I'm 2018, and I've been in love with the food ever since.
I've been here twice now, and have experienced the same amazing food and service both times. Their dishes are authentic, taste great, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Both times I've gone with large groups of over 10 people and we were all happily satisfied (and extremely full). Service was fast, food and drink prices are more than reasonable. The Thai shrimp paste fried rice is my favourite!
The Tom Yum soup is divine! The service was delightful. I'm excited to try more of their dishes.
Wonderful golden Thai curry! A colleague and I stopped in for lunch. Great atmosphere, wonderful curry. Every time I visit Toronto I will definitely stop by...
Loved the food. I got the skewers and the Thai curry red snapper and it was amazing. Loved the employees, they were very friendly. I am definitely coming back.
Lovely people and great food. Haven’t been in a while but great memories here. God bless you guys!
Amazing food and great service! #LetsGuide
3.5 stars We were promptly seated even without reservation. The dinning room were full, servers were busy. It took some time to get our appetizers. The soup and squid salad was good, a little peeve for me, they should have torn out the …
Great value, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff & easy to understand menu. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back again. Praise God for this place and may He bless everyone that walks through those doors!
This restaurant has very good social distancing rules in place and does not have the tables that close together. The menu is scannable by taking a picture of the QR code. The staff is very nice and friendly. The food is deliciousssss.
Amazing food and even better staff!! I definitely recommend if you're looking for great Thai food in the Mississauga area!
We enjoy their dishes very much
Hands down the best Thai restaurant! Fantastic atmosphere, great for families. Service is super friendly and beyond expectations. Thanks Joey for making us feel so welcomed.
Restaurant staffs were laud and made a lot of noises while put away tableware. Don't bother to order coconut rice which tasted no different than regular steam rice and they charge extra $2 for it.
Even though the menus got good flavours they need to drain the excess oil from their stir fry dishes because all that extra oil is going in your stomach and you'll feel sick. Just a word of advise
Surprisingly good food for a strip mall restaurant. I had the curry pad Thai. Or was a generous portion, with a great variety of ingredients and a nice curry zing. The staff seemed very nice but didn't really seem to know what they were doing. I would go back though. Quite satisfying.
My brother in law brought us here a couple months ago first time and then we all fell in love with the food, service and the cozy layout. They have very decent Bangkok style pad thai and curry! The only thing we’ve noticed is that we would order an appi platter which comes out relatively quickly. Then we pick away at them while waiting for the main dish. It takes a bit for the main dishes to come out so we tend to get full before the main dish. So we might have to stay away from platter on our next visit. Thanks for the great food guys! Happy new year, 2019!
I love the Beef salad it's one of my favorite dishes here, but also the BBQ chicken Pad Thai is delicious!! Looking forward to try more recipes here! Dine in was always busy and thei take out options in lock down don't rest the quality and quantity of the food ???? God bless you Guys !
Delicious food and friendly staff. Had a great experience. Nice presentation. Calm ambiance. I would go again.
First time customer and ordered chicken and jasmine rice, it was plain old white rice. even tipped them 5. never again will i go to a dishonest joint.
Great food, great prices, but most of all, great service!
Always a pleasurable experience at Twin Fish. The atmosphere and staff are delightful! The food was amazing; we ordered red snapper and green curry and mango chicken!
Great service ,amazing food. Prolly one of the best Thai places in the peel region. Will go back forsure.
One of our favourite restaurants in Mississauga.
We showed up without reservations and even though most tables were reserved, they were able to squeeze us in (a table of 6). The food quality was excellent and the service and attitude of the servers was also very good. They were very attentive to our needs and even expedited our order because we were in a rush to catch a movie. The fact that the kids had polished off the entire dish is a testament to quality of the food. The Pad Thai dish was full of flavour with good portions. If you are looking for Thai food, this is an excellent place to go.
Fantastic food, great place to gather with friends and family. Very warm, and welcoming staff. Large portions served to share and then take home to enjoy lunch the next day.
Very authentic Thai cuisine with lots of choices, impeccable flavors to go with some "spice and everything nice" one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommended.
Firstly the ambiance and help are great and have personality. The food is great and is in large portions. I suggest sharing family style instead of getting individual dishes. The curries are great and the ingredients are fresh which is super apparent in their food! The pineapple in my curry was SOO GOOD! If you are a vegetarian you might want to look at other options though because it looked like 90% of their menu had fish sauce in it and if that is a dietary restriction then you might be stuck with just a soup and springgrolls as my friend was. Great place to go for a night out overall. It was fun!
It is good restaurant and foods are delicious. I love all the deco in there. praise our God to show his glory everywhere. God bless you .
Excellent Thai food. Can't say anything about the service though since it was a take out.
My family took me out to Twin Fish for my birthday (my first time there) and it was the most wonderful experience. The staff was excellent and the food was phenomenal. They made me feel very special and I will definitely be going back and also recommending this place to others. Thank you Twin Fish!!!
Excellent food, service and laid back atmosphere. We ended up ordering too much food for us and had to ask for a to go. The lamb Thai curry was very good, but the star was the red snapper in basill sauce. Will be back again to try the rest.
Absolutely fantastic! I just walked in for the first time on my way to work to grab take out. The decor and atmosphere was very nice but what instantly one me over was the friendly greeting as I walked in. "Hi how are you, please come in it's great to see you!" I asked one of the guys what he would reccomend me and he was extremely passionate about his food and was very thorough with me. To finish off this great experience the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was the best I've had in GTA. I plan on bringing all my friends and my staff there for dinner. Everyone needs to try this place!
Had the pad thai lunch special - it was the worst version I have ever had. Not one bean sprout. No green onion. No peanut bits. Greasy chicken leg that was overcooked. Good service, Nice staff.
A great hidden gem in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Mississauga. Was packed when we went on a Saturday night but it only added to the ambiance of the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious with very hearty, generous portions. Serving staff great coming around continually to ask how everything was and topping off our water. A must try and they have found a new repeat customer!
Fantastic food, outstanding service. We enjoyed a beautiful birthday dinner! This was our second visit. The waiter and owner remembered us from our first visit over 5 months ago.
I visited Twin Fish for the first time Friday night. When entering we were greeted right away, and after sitting it felt like you were part of a family. Joey came over and started talking with us, helping to decide on the food and talking in general. The young people that were there have a very positive attitude and it shows in their service. Along with the great service you have great food. When leaving it's a different feeling than I felt at other restaurants. I would definitely recommend Twin Fish. You come away from this place not just feeling full but also Blessed to have eaten there. Thank you Joey, David, Abby, Patrick. They did such a good job we came back with some friends tonight. Great job and thankyou.
Food was excellent espcially pad thai. Great camar!i However service was slow at dinner on a weekday despite not being so busy. They forgot our utensils and slow on refills. Usually has great service during lunch, not sure why?
Great food and great service. Blessed and Highly Flavored!
Had an excellent time with my fiance at Twin Fish Mississauga branch. The servers were exceedingly helpful and kind. The food was excellent (unfortunately, they ran out of coconut rice because it was so busy.) We appreciate the ambience (clean, great Christian music, good temperature) Will be returning again in the near future. Great job, guys!
We've been here twice now. Food is very good. Lots of veggies dishes available, good atmosphere, quick efficient service.
Great service, reasonably priced, delicious food and simple but elegant decor. Highly recommended. Wish there was one close to the northeast part of the GTA.
First experience eating at twin fish. The moment I walked in i was greeted by such kind people. The food was good.. wait no AMAZING. One of the best food i have ever eaten from a restaurant. It is definitely worth the price!! My favourite appetizer was the Crispy Calamari. It tasted so rich and delicious. All of my other dishes were plated neatly and was spectacular overall. This deserves 100 stars!!
Just ordered through Uber eats horrible food extremely dry , not even the full order .
This is my go-to place for Thai cuisine. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. Clean and chic for sure. The servers are all so friendly and personable. One of them he remembers me every time I go in, even though I don't go that often. Everything is good, including the curry dishes, fried rice, and the stir fry dishes. Add a bowl of rice and it is perfect meal. Try to go earlier as the restaurant gets pretty busy quickly.
Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, and good portion sizes. The appetizer platter alone was enough to fill us up! This will be our go to place in the area.
Dinner, made a reservation as it's a busy place. Service was good, food was great. One member at the table didn't like what was ordered N ordered a different dish which came very fast. Wait staff was polite. Can be a bit noisy as seating is very close. Overall good dinner and will recommend to others. Very good Thai restaurant at a very reasonable price. Service was a little slow but the food made up for it. Thai Vegetable Spring Roll were very good.
Food was good but they did not ask anyone for their vaccination certificate and one person walked in without a mask and nothing was said
Excellent food and service and location. We ordered thai basil chicken fried rice which was the highlight. Other items we loved were south thai fried rice, thai chili chicken and ginger chicken. Very delicious, aromatic and finger licking good. Such smiling faces and great service. Keep it up. 5 stars for food and staff.
Really nice comfortable atmosphere, and the best green curry I've found outside of Thailand, but really, all of their food is good!
Food was quite flavourful. We ordered the curry pad Thai and the red curry. Found the red curry to have too many pineapples but the flavour was still good. The curry pad Thai on the other hand had a good spice level and cooked well. We also ordered the coconut soup which was terrible would not reccomend it at all.
Absolutely DELICIOUS! I ordered the green curry and it was super tasty! Fresh ingredients with authentic flavours. I will definitely be ordering from Twin Fish again!
Great staff, great food always!!!
Always great food! Staff try hard to be friendly and helpful. Price is decent. Only suggestion is more rice for the delicious curry
We really love going here. The service is always superb, the people are kind, and I have never ordered something that was less than impressive. Highly, highly recommended. My favourite is the red curry!
Finally had a delicious green thai curry after 7 yrs!!! I try Twin Fish randomly and since then I haven’t been able to stop eating there. Their curry was so rich in flavour that I was in heaven as soon as I tasted it. Hot and Sour soup and chicken spring roll was tastier than I expected. Overall I highly recommend this place!! If you are a fan of intense flavours and enhanced taste, you won’t be disappointed.
This is probably my favourite Thai restaurant in Mississauga. I always come here and get the vegetarian pad thai which is really tasty! My boyfriend and I come here often for the food but also their Vietnamese iced coffee which is to die for! The staff are also always so accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and amazing service. They treat you just like family. My favourite thai restaurant. Twin Fish is hard to beat.
We ordered a wide variety of dishes to try. My favourite dishes were the Vietnamese spring rolls and the pad thai. Both were very good. Pineapple fried rice was also good but was a little to spicy for my little ones.
I have ordered the food from Twin Fish couple number of times but every time there has been some kind of disappointment either due to the quality of food, taste, or missing item in the order. The special instructions are not observed properly, my order today had one item missing and the spice level was so high where we couldn't taste the food at all (instructions had mild spice). Will not order Thai food ever from this place and you guys lost a customer today.
Food was OK. Ordered the snapper based on staff recommendation. Didn't work for me. It was quite Salty and deep fried for my taste. Apparently it's the favorite of the masses. What are your eating people!! :) The pad thai was OK. Wife was not that impressed as well. Soups were decent. I'd say the service was very good though. Very very friendly staff that really cared. But I recalled later after we left that we were charged for an invisible rice bowl.
About a few weeks ago, I ordered from Twin Fish through Uber Eats, I have ordered multiple times from this restaurant because their Peenang Curry Chicken and Coconut rice is AMAZING. This time I wanted to treat myself and add a side of spring rolls. When my order arrived and I looked in the bag, there was no spring rolls in site. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager Joey who was very apologetic. We had a great conversation, I thought he would just replace my spring rolls, instead he went above and beyond and made a suggestion that the next time he's in the restaurant and I'm craving Thai again, I would be able to order spring rolls and an entree on the house! That really made my day! Not many people would do something like this, and I am thankful that we have such kind people like Joey around. Thank you Joey, YOU ARE THE BEST!
Had a really great experience here. The appetizer plate was really good. Ask for some hot sauce/sambal to go with it! Ordered pad Thai, green Thai curry and Thai chili chicken which were all excellent. Really good heat in the green curry. Will be coming back here again.
The food is exceptional. This is the best Thai restaurant I have been to in the GTA bar none - authentic preparation and flavor are the hallmark of their dishes. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing place for Thai food, great service, and great food, highly recomemnded
solid food, great service. They are very attentive and keen to ensure your experience is great. The folks here will get to know you and remember you the 2nd time you walk in the door. I've gone several times and will continue to for a long time. Can't say enough about this place
Their Green Curry is out of this world. Our family's go-to Thai restaurant.
Delicious, authentic Thai cuisine and large portions too.
Always amazing food and amazing service! The mango salad is just yummmmmm! Alwaays happy to dine here. We've histed several birthdays here over the years :)
This is my favourite restaurant in Mississauga-not only is the service always fantastic (even for COVID takeout) but the food is to die for, especially the different Pad Thais, the Satay, Calamari, and my favourite -the Thai Golden Curry-this coconut curry is what I imagine they eat in heaven! I cried when COVID forced them to be closed for my bday-thanks guys for your consistency and high standard of quality and service!!!
Shrimp was not deveined. Paid extra to have coconut soup with 3 shrimp and their shrimp poop.
Food is awesome. Atmosphere is welcoming. Environment is clean. Staff were very friendly and cheerful.
Dine in
Anne the owner, is a fantastic host! So accommodating & the food was delicious & well presented. Can't wait to go back & try more!
This place is tucked in a business/industrial/movie theatre plaza with 4-5 immediate competitors staggered around and provides a satisfactory experience if you’re looking for a quality Thai option. Pro tip for foodies, if you’re looking for hot soup takeout make sure you have a game plan when eating in your car.
THE BEST RESTAURANT!!!! The food is amazing and the service is out of this world! There has never been a time when I visit twin fish and not love the food the service or the atmosphere. I highly recommend this to anyone.
I have literally nothing but amazing things to say to this place. Just come here. Thats it!
Brilliant Sea Food! You can ask the chef to make the food as per your preference (less spicy or more spicy) Must have if you are in
We had the Green curry and Red snapper with basil sauce, wow, it was super tasty. Great job! I wish the Tom yum could be a bit more spicy, more lemongrass flavor and tiny bit less sweetness. Overall very pleasant experience. People are nice and friendly. Keep it up guys
Absolutely love this place. The food is fresh and so flavorful and the service is amazing. My friend thought one of the servers was soooo cute.
We were here in September while vising Mississauga. The food was soaked in oil and far from being tasty. It was so unhealthy that we almost fell sick after eating it. We always try to find Thai food when travelling and so far this has been the worst experience ever. I don't understand why my review gets removed. I wonder how many other 1-star and 2-star reviews are being removed.
Excellent Thai food and fantastic service. One of the best Thai restaurants in the city. I recommend the lamb shank, the curry fish and the street style noodles.
Amazing experience and great food! If you're looking for a place to eat AND talk about God, Twin fish has you covered. Definitely would be back for the meal and excellent customer service. Keep it up Twin Fish!
Busy place and very attentive staff. Lunch time was packed. Had Basil fish with soup. Tasty but the fish was way too salty. Another chef that when adding salt thinks he's adding flavour! Dangerous levels of sodium if eaten often
Best Thai food in Mississauga. Ordered the Thai Chili chicken and could not get enough of it. Considered ordering a second as soon as I finished the first. 10/10 recommend.
The food were very tasty and lunch combo had good size portion aswell. I found the TOM YUM soup bit sweet at my taste but it was still very tasty. Overall, location was clean and had great service. Recommended!!!
Excellent! The food and staff were great. I highly recommend it for a date spot! It's walking distance to the theatre, and has a great atmosphere. Prices are good, and the menu has good variety.
Authentic Thai food that is extremely popular with the locals and surrounding businesses. Servers are friendly and attentive. Food is really good and tasty and comes in generous portions. Green curry is spicy!
Great Thai food! The Red Snapper Fillet with Thai Curry Sauce is the best! The sauce is just perfect and taste great with coconut rice. The Pad Thai and Chicken Thai Red Curry are delicious too. The only thing is that it is a bit pricey for dinner and you have to order rice separately.
The taste and service from the smiling team bring us back! Also had a staff Christmas dinner in 2021.
Love this place. I find the white table cloths very charming. Seats are very comfortable. The food is always freshly prepared and delicious. If you don't enjoy sea food, there are chicken and lamb options. Kefir Lamb is delicious. My favourites are calamari and lemongrass soup. You have to start with it. Wine and beer choices, though limited, are good. Be careful with your first bite as the food is hot when it reaches your table. Resist for a minute or so, if you can!
One of the best Thai food in Mississauga, On
Consistently amazing Thai food, and the servers are always friendly and available. Restaurant itself looks great and is always clean. I only wish it were bigger to cater to the vast crowds of people craving their food
Food(pineapple fried rice and Chang Mai noodle) was great and service was good. Only downside is the place gets super packed during peak hours so I would advise to opt for take out instead of dining in.
Food was really amazing. The staff were super friendly. Great atmosphere.
Lovely, great family atmosphere. Friendly staff, personable approach. Found my order was a little too much spice for my palate, staff accommodated me with an anti-spice coconut awesome drink. Been there 3 times and will keep going back.
Great local thai food. Food and service are excellent.
The food was amazing and fresh. Great variety to choose from and loved the worship music playing in the background. Joey was awesome at helping us choose what to order and the rest of the staff were great! This place is going to become one of my regulars when I'm at courtney park.
I'm the wife from the last review post. I normally don't post reviews but I felt the need to reiterate what my husband said in the previous review. I've never been more embarrassed and shocked that we would be turned away so the entire staff could eat. It's a shame because I enjoyed the lunch special which we were coming for and now I will never go back :(
I frequent this outstanding place many times because I like the good mood that is unique to this restaurant. The team is extraordianrillyremarkably loving and well trained. The service is certainly rapid. Not to mention, the food you eat is outstanding. I came often and I was never disappointed. The cost is modest. I highly suggest this place to my friends and family.
If i can leave a worst review than 1 star i would. Today i had a terrible experience and frankly i am so angry at myself for not ripping up the receipt and leaving the restaurant. Today i went to twin fish on Eglinton with my coworkers for take out at lunch time. I ordered two pad thai's with mango salad. Immediately after i received my receipt i explained to the cashier that the price was wrong. On their website the pad thai with the mango salad is $13.95, however i was being charged $27 each order. Before paying, i explained to the cashier (he claims his name is Kent) that the price was wrong. He then told me that i cannot order take out from the lunch menu (since the lunch menu is cheaper). I then tried to take the mango salads out of the order, since he was charging it as a full appetizer. He refused and said that the order is already prepared and he cannot cancel it because its "too late". This was extremely frustrating because the order was placed 2 minutes prior to the conversation, so i knew very well that he was lying. He then proceeded to point at take out bags that were behind him trying to show us that the order was ready. So i paid, which i should have just walked right out. Obviously it was not already prepared because we received our "already ready" meals 20 minutes later. I am very disappointed and embarrassed for Twin Fish for having such a ridiculous policy. This is the first and last time that i every go to Twin Fish. I got robbed today.
Even though the food here was exceptionally authentic Thai food with various choices, the service was literally terrible. The waiter who took my order was mouthing words without making any sound and turned away without confirming what we actually ordered, and fair enough when I pay I found out that my friend’s drink order was on my bill. Additionally, people kept coming along trying to take away my food and drink without even asking if I had finished it or not. They put dirty dishes collected from other tables right above my food, I can see drippings almost falling on my food. The same waiter at the end sent the pos machine to the table with 3 bills together and we had to sort them out ourselves. And then he just disappeared. 15 mins later another waiter came along and collected the machines and gave the receipts. After all, it’s a fine dining restaurant with good decors and a fair amount of tables, so you’d expect they’d at least have mediocre service standards, but nooooooooo. I strongly recommend people to get takeaway if they really fancy the food here. For me, I only had just passed by after picking up my friends at the airport, so I will never go back to that restaurant ever again.
Amazing food, great service! Loved the green curry (if you like spicy), mango salad was delicious and so was the basil fried rice. Will definately come back again, one of the best thai food places in the area.
I have eaten here at Twin Fish at least 20 times! Every dish I ever attempted has been top notch. Highly recommend both for eating out and take out
My wife and I have never had Thai food before, so we thought we would try it. WOW are we glad we did. The food was FANTASTIC ! ! ! My wife had the Garlic Lamb and I had the Garlic Beef, (we like garlic) and a side of rice ! It was very clean and the service was great, and friendly. The prices, in my mind, were very reasonable, and the portions were plenty, we were full when we left. If your looking to change things up or looking to try something different from the everyday, I highly recommend Twin Fish Thai Cuisine. May God continue to bless this restaurant and all that work there!
Twin fish is by far the best restaurant i have been at in the west end in terms of quality of food, service and atmosphere! Growing up in the east end and downtown i was really surprised when i moved west that the quality of the food is really low. Twin fish is on par or even better than most restaraunts in Toronto. 5 stars!
Amazing food. Amazing service by Joseph. He is one of the best human beings you will ever meet in your life. My family and I love this place. We go there to eat every week.
Fantastic service. Great food. One couple in our group of 6 has allergies and were very picky about their food. The wait staff went above and beyond what they needed to do. The food was also excellent. Not a single bad dish served. This is why I end up back here once every few months. I will be back.
Great food make sure to reserve. They were out of coconut shrimp and the service was a little slow but very friendly. The pad Thai was delicious!
I have gone to Twin Fish for years. I go to Twin Fish for the quality and the atmosphere. It’s one of my favourite spots in the GTA. If your looking for great food and a great spot Twin Fish is a must. Also their takeout is fantastic. It’s packaged right so you have the same quality at your dinning room table.
I love this food. Service and atmosphere are amazing.
Great prices considering the plate sizes. Phenomenal customer service and a great selection of delicious food. This was my first time at this restaurant and I would definitely go there again. Additionally, I would recommend others to Twin Fish.
Great food but even better customer service.
We went there today for my fathers birthday. The food was very good but more importantly, the customer service was amazing. My father is in a wheelchair and they accommodated us and helped us. The bathroom was accessible as well. They put on music for his birthday and sang with us. At the end, they even said a prayer for my father's health. I rarely write reviews but this type of caring customer service is rare. I will come back here for sure.
Went with my friend to dinner as I had heard such good things about the place. I must say this restaurant did not disappoint. The food is amazingly good. I had the red snapper with basil sauce and enjoyed it to the max. I have been back several times as the food is so good. The place is a little small so try to make a reservation if you have a large party. The staff is also really friendly.
The staff treats you like their own. Servicing you with such humbleness. The Bangkok style pad Thai is a must try.
I would go back again and again! Great food; excellent service!
This review trumps them all! If you appreciate a fair and accurate review, this one comes with both aspects because it reflects the opinion of a Thai lady I know who is herself an excellent and trained Thai cook! We always thought this was probably the best place in Peel region to get authentic Thai food along with great service from attentive staff, but when I dared to invite my father and his Thai wife to join us, I was amazed that although she is very particular about how Thai food should be made, she fully endorsed the cuisine and enjoyed it fully! (A rare occurrence indeed!) In case you are wondering, she had the Red Snapper Fillet with Basil Sauce; we also recommend the Curry Pumpkin Soup, and all the curries. Bottom line: AMAZING Thai food at a very reasonable price!
Never had good experiences with this restaurant but this is the only "reputable" Thai restaurant around my office and my colleague who I'm organizing the birthday lunch for wanted Thai so we decided to go with them. First, I ordered through Uber and it shows I have 11 items on my receipt. When it arrived, only 9 items were on the hand written note by the restaurant. AND its not even correct what was in the bag. One of the 4 Pad Thais were missing and a Thai Salad was missing. Second, the Chef Cold Rolls we ordered tasted like dish soap. Yeah you have to keep your hands clean when working with food but you should make sure you rinse your hands properly and the utensils properly. Tried calling the restaurant right after I got the delivery but no one picked up, and their voice mail is completely full. Honestly, I personally will not be going to this restaurant again.
Service is good....food is just ok..
I first time I had pad thai was frozen boxes from Costco, and they tasted great. But then I had it here and it just blew my mind. Food was starting to get monotonous with the same type of food everywhere, I would highly recommend this place if you want to feel excited again. It was slightly busy when we got there, but service was great, felt welcomed. I had the pad thai, but also the chicken skewers, the chicken was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The shrimp was nicely cooked the the pad thai, it felt fresh and the spice level was nice. The dining area was clean, and service was great. Will come again
The food here is absolutely delicious. My work colleagues do not even think for one minute that we will not have at least one meal there every time we are in town which is every 3 months. Do yourself a favor and try out this place. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff attentive. Keep up the great work.
Been going for years and never had a bad experience. Owners are nice and very personable. Food is delicious and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is very welcoming and pleasant. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a good Thai restaurant!!!
I would definitely not recommend ordering the pineapple fried rice or the general tsao chicken as both of them were flavorless and lackluster. The curries were good though.
Amazing food - tasted fantastic and good portion sizes. The dishes had enough spice, and everything was freshly made. Some of the best Thai cuisine I've had to date. Super tasty fried rice dishes.
Really good food as usual! Penang curry, beef noodles, and shrimp paste noodles are all great options!
My absolute favorite Thai restaurant! The food and service are amazing! So happy to have this local gem.
By far the best Thai restaurant in Mississauga. The location is very convenient, the decoration is very beautiful and the way the tables are placed allows for some privacy and elbow room. The menu selection is very extensive and indicates spiciness; however, the kitchen staff can make it to accommodate your request. The best thing about this restaurant is the staff, they are very courteous and always make you feel welcomed. Prices are moderate and portions are very generous as well. For the last 10 years this restaurant has been my go to Thai restaurant, I highly recommend it!
I went to this restaurant with my family for the first time. They ordered calamari, chicken, soup, fried rice. I cannot really explain in words how amazing I felt after eating that food. For a non Thai eater to a Thai lover, this restaurant has my heart. Coming to the customer service, the servers remember their customers well and you are treated like a King or a Queen. This place a big yes yes for me and I would love you go again and again.
Excellent choice for Thai food. However their service could be slow during rush hours
By far one of the best Thai restaurant around. Atmosphere was amazing. Restaurant is well decorated. Food tasted amazing. Especially the Tom Yum soup. It was immensely flavourful. Pad thai tasted great too. Server was awesome. Really took great care of us. Overall I have to say I was really enjoyed my time in this restaurant and definitely coming back.
Excellent tasty food. Great customer service. Cozy ambiance, clean restaurant. Reservations a must during lunch hour or peak times. Not an overly large restaurant.
We love this restaurant especially it’s cleanliness and super friendly staff! Food always tastes like it’s made with love, well presented with great portions and quality ingredients. If you are in the market for delicious Thai food, this is your go-to. We’ve tried quite a few items on their menu — everything tasty — but always come back to satisfy our cravings for the green curry and (street style) pad Thai. Highly recommend to come with company so you can order everything under the sun. It does get busy around the lunch and dinner rush, so make reservations fir larger parties or be prepared to wait. Definitely worth it.
I usually don’t get pad thai at restaurants but my friend ordered the shrimp one from here and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the fried calamari which was also yummy - had a light batter and wasn’t too oily. We finished the meal off with thai tea (which everyone should order because it’s just a perfect drink to sip on). The customer service here was great. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I can’t wait to come back and try everything else on the menu.
Always loved thai food, so chose to dine at twin fish today. It was our second time. Happy we went there, delicious food.
I had the Red Thai curry. It was good and spicy like it should be, the only thing is perhaps add a bit more rice as a side. The decor was good and the seating was comfortable, while the service was also good although inattentive at times. I would recommend this place for good Thai food if you're in the area. The pad thai is also quite good.
This is the best place in the western GTA to dine for Thai food. We've been coming here for years, and love not only the food, but also the ambiance and service. The servers go above and beyond to ensure that you have a good experience, every time. A great place to celebrate birthdays as well. My recommendation on what to order: their red snapper fillet is fantastic.
The food is really good. Its a thaï type of restaurant. But the server is really suck, but it worth going
Been going here forever. The best tasting vegetables (I'm vegan) eg. Smoked eggplant omg! Spiritual polite respectful. Perfect date night
Ambiance: Bright and spaced out tables which provide privacy. They have a sanitizing stating when you enter. The place is light up brightly. They do have an outdoor patio as well. Food: The portion size in comparison to other places was noted. The serving size is considerably bigger. Panang Curry - Chicken. This is always my go to dish at any Thai restaurant. At this restaurant, I would have to say it was my least favorite in comparison to other places. It was flavorful but I have certainly had better. Chicken Cashew Nut: Great, rich with flavor, appropriate amount of cashews Thai Chili Chicken - flavorful, perfect amount of chili sauce. Tiger shrimp- This definitely had a kick to it. The tamarind sauce adds a different flavor and sets it apart from everything else on the table Service: Service was fast and efficient. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.
The food was AMAZING as expected, but what really touched my heart is the gentlemen who cashed me out. I had ordered alot of food ( I like to eat ) the lovely man offered to help carry my food with me to my car which was parked far away. I didn't need the help but I needed the company and social interaction, with a mask on and while social distancing this man walked me to my car with my food. I'm am forever grateful for the brief time we spent, thank you for the company. You have restored my faith in humanity. Wishing you all the success and happiness in the world.
If I could give more than 5 gold stars, I would! This place is the BEST Thai restaurant we have been to. The food is tasty, fresh, the place is super clean and the staff is beyond accommodating and pleasant. The food was just 10/10, from the appetizers to the main dishes. The flavours were really authentic and delicious. We will be definitely coming back and highly recommend Twin Fish!!
The garlic shrimp was amazing. Very flavorful and juicy! Would go back!
I’ve never had a bad meal at this place. The service is always great and the owners really take pride in their food, atmosphere and ensuring everyone has a great experience. It’s nice to go to a restaurant where the owners take time to get to know their customers. I would highly recommend - their lamb curry was delicious!
I went expecting some simple Thai food to enjoy before a movie, and they exceeded my expectations in every way. The restaurant is very clean and simple decor, with unique ambiance music and inspirational theming. My wife and I had the Panang Curry and Golden Curry, both of which were served in generous portions, with a wonderful cook on them, and perfect coconut rice. I enjoy Thai food, and this is the best in the area. It will be in a constant rotation for me, whether or not a movie is involved.
Great place we dropped by and they were celebrating their 10 yrs. Anniversary and got a free entre!! Delish food and great ambient
Great food and service. Mentioned a peanut allergy and still enjoyed the food!
Best food ever..everyone is also so nice. Trust me everyone I have tried other places and not trying to put them down or anything but the flavour and quality is just at the top. Worth the price.
Nice place inside. Appitizers were good. Only negative was the Pad Thai was the only disappointment. Other beef dish was great.
Enjoyable dinner! It was our first time at Twin fish and it was a last minute decision for us to all meet there for dinner. Twin fish was very gracious in accepting our reservation of 12 people with little notice. We all loved it! Everything was delicious and amazing. We really enjoyed our drinks, appetizers and meals... however.. the best thing that stood out and made it a place to definitely return, besides the food.. was the service. The server and staff are so friendly. They were so great with making sure that we were all happy with our meals and drinks. Great customer service is very important and these guys know how to get it right. Thanks for a great experience!
Excellent food. A bit high on sodium and sugar. Great staff. Highly recommend.
Had lunch here, good service, good food, that was until we found a chunk of beef in our shrimp noodles. As Muslims, my family had asked for sea food dishes specifically to avoid any non-halal meat. But looks like they mix spoons or share bowls during prep in the kitchen and that's how the beef ended in our dish. So just a word of caution, if you have dietary restrictions like myself, or have allergies to certain things, keep in mind that your food might contain ingredients you didn't ask for. When I showed the beef to the staff, they offered a 10% discount ($7) which I didn't ask for because that wasn't the point of me reporting it to them. So I payed that back in tips. No complains with the waiting staff, the service is good here. It's the kitchen that messed up. Unfortunately 2 star for me because I can't come here again knowing I might be served something that breaks my dietary restrictions.
Green curry is excellent ! The fried rice was not crazy but still okay. Dishes looked good. Small restaurant with good service. Nice to go to. Worth the try.
Fantastic restaurant. Amazing food and very friendly staff. This is a small restaurant so call ahead as there's usually a line but well worth the wait. The red snapper, pumpkin soup and crab rolls are amazing.
Excellent food. I was really impressed with the beef salad. I need to go back to try some more dishes here. They had everyone spaced out nicely and made it extra comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
We frequently order from both locations. Our go to is the basil snapper. It's battered and fried perfectly and the sauce is amazing. It also has a few jumbo shrimps in the gravy. When we got takeout occasionally, the restaurant has a good habit of packaging the fried fish and the sauce separately so as not to get soggy. If you're a heat fan, ask for their homemade hot sauce ????
My favourite Thai place in Mississauga. It's consistently amazing. My favourites are the Red Snapper with Thai basil sauce and the Green Curry.
Delivery
In my opinion, this place has the best thai food. My personal fave is the pad thai! Pho is my second fave it's MSG-free! Highly recommend this spot. Great atmosphere although the music can be a little loud at times. It gets packed out around lunch time so arrive early.
One of the best Thai food we've had in Mississauga. Their signature platter is a must try. Pad thai is very authentic too if you want to stick with classics.
Small restaurant with cozy ambiance, tasty food and nice service. Love their mango salad. Definitely recommend.
Excellent food. Flavourful and the portions are hearty. Atmosphere is amazing you forget that you're in a theatre complex.
Really great Thai restaurant with delicious food and fantastic service. Shared the pad Thaii, red curry, basil rice and peanut curry and it was all very good. Highly recommend.
Amazing Thai restaurant, Very friendly staff, and awesome food.
Their food was amazing and the staff was great! They had this sweet mango/sticky rice dessert which was to die for (ordered a 2nd plate because I loved it so much)
These guys are amazing! Even through covid, they are doing an amazing job and are very helpful, definitely recommend giving them a visit. The Pad Thai is amazing
Great place, great people, great food I love coming here when I'm in the area. Garlic lamb is one of my favorites, I also really like the red snapper. Always a great experience thank you.
The Thai dishes are outstanding and so full of flavours! This little restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in Mississauga. Go check them out!
Amazing food. The flavours are distinct, authentic and the tastes fresh. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
I ordered the basil seafood. It was a mix of mussels shrimp, crab red and green peppers and although very good, the portion was much smaller than my last visit.
Service is beyond incredible. Food matches the incredible service. It's the best Thai food I've had in the GTA and I'm a dietitian that travels all around GTA Just to find good Thai food... Trust me on this place!
The best Thai food ever !!! Love the quality
Fresh, great tasting food. Pleasant environment and service. I will always go back. The quality and quantity of food is very good and reasonably priced.
Dec 22, 2014 LUNCH Went there with my colleagues - Horrible experience. Couldn't provide food in 1 hr 20 mins. Messed up the food order, no apology, finally had to come back without eating and had to pack the food to go - YET NO APOLOGY and extremely rude When we came back, we found we were overcharged $4.00 for drinks which they didn't even SERVE !!
Ordered the Thai spicy noodles with beef for takeout. The sauce was not mixed in at all and the noodles were too hard to do it after the fact. The sauce was also not spicy at all. Was very disappointed with my meal
Such a unique and positive place! You can experience all the love around in the food they offer. We ordered 5 dishes off the menu and were amazed by all of them. Every dish was packed full of flavour. The staff always have a smile on their face are genuinely caring and seem to love what they offer! Go here for the food, ambience, positivity and good vibes! You won't be disappointed.
Great food and atmosphere!
The best Thai restaurant in Mississauga. I highly recommend this restaurant to Thai food lovers. Don't get the pho is my only warning, everything else that is Thai related is awesome
Wow. Seriously tasty food! The Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls with chef Joe's Secret Super Hot Sauce ????. The Thai Chili Chicken is just spicy enough and perfectly crispy. Try the Chaing Mai Curry noodles - the sauce is delicious. Pineapple Fried Rice, mmmmm. For dessert ... the sweet sticky rice and mango, oh my! Service was awesome!
Nice and quite place it's a Christian restaurant their fried rice is so far best I had this year, anytime you go down there try their hot ginger drink.
We got spicy noodle and it was pathetic - they boiled flat noodles and put sauce on top of it
This place is incredible great customer service and it is my favorite place to eat in the plaza. The Pad Thai, Bangkok Pad thai and the general tsao are my favorites. After the Entress i would get the Mango Coconut sticky Rice! Best dessert Ever! I would definitley reccommend it.
Went for a light business lunch with a partner, we ordered at the same time and my partner's meal arrived and we both definitly assumed that my meal will arrive shortly within 1 minute...I followed up and asked about my meal... waited again, 8 minutes later.. my food on the plate was cold and the chicken was very dry. Funny enough that another table for 1 had came couple minutes after us and he got served before I did... he had ordered the same thing on the menu. The waitresses were so busy talking to eachother that they didnt care enough. Time management is not their priority. My partners food was getting cold as we waited for my plate... not funny at all.
Amazing, delicious food! And outstanding service! The waitress kept checking up on us, and accommodated requests due to allergies. Would definitely go again
Food was delicious...fresh, hot and tasty! The atmosphere is wonderful and service very quick and friendly! The place was full on a Wednesday evening...says lots!
Amazing food everytime.
Food is great! I made a reservation the morning of and was able to get a table for 4 for the evening. The staff are very friendly as well. Highly recommended!
Large parking lot, free. Place is clean, nice decor, comfortable seating, mix of tables and booths. Good staff, service. Busy popular place. Washrooms are individual ones, clean, nice. Menu has some nice options. The food I ordered was hot when it came. Very tasty. One of the better Thai places I have been. Definitely go again and recommend to anyone. Prices are reasonable.
My third time here. Everything I tasted was delicious. I really love this restaurant. Coconut soup and fish dishes are very good. Unfortunatelly it is usually crowded.
One of the Best or the Best Thai Restaurant in Mississuaga hands down. Been here many times and will be coming back. Have tried many of their dishes. Some dishes that stand out would be all the different types of Pad Thai’s, Thai Chilli Chicken, Cashew Chicken( always with the coconut rice). Their Thai appetizer plate is great too, the Satay, Calamari is really good. Only downside is that is the location is very small and sometimes very packed. But it’s worth the wait time!!!
Been to this place for dinner and completely satisfied with food we had. Food was awesome with authentic Thai taste. Just one thing missing was Thai ice tea and they should keep that. Apart from food, ambiance was perfect, service was quick and price was good.
Delicious food. Great customer service.
So happy we discovered Twin Fish! Faves include pad Thai, green curry and Thai chili chicken. Also visited in the summertime and had dinner on the patio. Very friendly owners! Can't wait to order again ????
My favourite Thai spot in Sauga! This is a small family run business, and you can tell they put their heart and soul into this place. Service is always fantastic and the food is AMAZING. Great portions, tasty meals, reasonable prices, good ambience. Really like that they have added a few tables in front of the restaurant as well. This is also a good take out option too. The curry pad thai is SOOOO GOOOD and the appetizer platter has such a good variety. Mango salad is really fresh and tasty. You will not be disappointed!!!
Really poor quality thai food - may have been 4 stars historically, but the quality has significantly diminished in the last few years. The curries and noodles are tasteless and often cold when served.
What a hidden gem! The restaurant is quite small and usually busy around dinner time, but I really like the food! Each dish has such unique flavour, despite having similar ingredients or similar appearances. I'm usually not a fan of seafood but found these dishes very delicious. The portions are deceptively large - doesn't look that big but I guarantee it'll stuff you. One of the better Thai restaurants I've been to!
They probably have the best Thai food in the GTA and their mango salad is so unique and different, yet tastes better than any mango salad from any other restaurant ive been to. The chicken is really good too and they have a lot of options for unbattered meats, as I am often a health conscious person. Would highly recommend!
My family and i really love the resturant. We have been there twice and food has been really flavorful and the service has been top-notch. They have lot of options for vegetarians which is a bonus for me. The only drawback is the seating area is a little congested if you are coming in with a large party.
Excellent food. Good service. Price is not insanely high. Nice ambience. Peak hours are extremely busy. So plan ahead.
Meal type
This place has amazing quality food and service is through the roof. Whoever answered the phone on the night of April 20th, give them a big time raise. 500 stars. Thanks Twin Fish.
Cute, modest interior with exceptional service and dishes. The servers were all very efficient and ran the restaurant smoothly (even during the rush). I was very impressed with their efficiency and kind attitudes. I was also impressed with their generous portions. Definitely recommend coming here????
Excellent lunch! The mango salad with beef skewers was delicious.
I went here last year but I finally decided to write this review now because I just remembered how horrible the experience was. First off, the food was mediocre AT BEST. The chicken i ordered was bland and soaked in grease from the deep fryer. There was also barely chicken on the plate so I was stuck eating some basic rice. Secondly, the worst part about this place was the service. Although friendly at first, I got a weird vibe from the server. He began a conversation with me about religion while I was in the middle of my meal. He went on for a couple minutes asking me personal questions about my religion and beliefs which was awkward and made me feel uncomfortable. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.
Got off to a slow start. We were promptly seated then forgotten for about 10 m! When the waitress finally showed up she was sweet I'm very helpful. Once we placed our order everything came quickly. The food was spectacular. Uniquely prepared dishes with high quality ingredients. Highly recommend the assortment of spring rolls. Overall very satisfied. We will chalk up the delay in service to confusion as they were quite busy at that time.
This platter is Good enough for 2 people!
My all time favorite thai restaurant and favorite restaurant in all of Mississauga. My first time visit to this restaurant was back in 2014 and I was highly impressed with this place. Until today...the service of all of their employees is amazing. The food is authentic, served nice & hot and absolutely delicious. I also love how the restaurant is centered around Christ and plays some of my favorite worship music :)
Totally love it. I am a huge fan of Thai and I did try lot of their cuisine. This one so far is the best in Canada Mississauga/ Brampton area that I have been. It’s a very small and cozy place, so better have your reservations on the weekends to avoid waiting. Thai basil dish here tops my list. Of the mango salad never disappoints me and here it was so fresh that my mouth started watering right away.People serving are really nice and helpful. Would keep coming here and would recommend this to anyone who loves Thai.
Their Thai Basil Noodles are AMAZING. My husband had the vegetarian Pad Thai and said it was delicious. We shared the mango salad which was too spicy for me but he loved it. The wait staff were great - courteous, laid back, and nice. I highly recommend this place.
Pad Thai with BBQ chicken is a must have. All their lunch menu items are very good. Very friendly service. Reservation is recommended during busy lunch hours.
I ordered for a work function. I have never had Thai food so I didnt know what to order. Jimmy was extremely helpful and put together a great selection. There was plenty of food. Everyone loved it. Highly recommend!
Best Thai restaurant in sauga. My recommendations - Panang Curry, Green Curry and Thai Spicy Noodles. Pad thai is just about average.
Went there reading the reviews for this place Must say I was really disappointed Ordered Tom Kha coconut soup which was too too sweet couldn't deal with such a sweet soup Then ordered Penang curry was not good again really very very sweet couldn't swallow it with the peanut taste and over sweetness was something I couldn't deal with so Requested the server to change the Penang curry for a Thai red curry as this was too sweet The service here is excellent the service staff goes out of their way to help they were very helpful with us too and changed to beef Thai red curry The red curry was average no lemongrass or galanga in the soup or food The Thai flavours were missing and the food was too too sweet for my liking Couldn't deal with this place!!
I love this place! The food the ambiance the service is all top notch. You can choose any dish and it will taste amazing!
Sat out on the patio and the server was accommodating as he put two tables together for us. Service was good and the food tasted fresh and delicious. Helpings were pretty big in some dishes. Seemed like a clean place and would def return.
We have been here 4th August evening, we have been greeted well. When we asked for the platter it was not there then we ordered a combination of Chicken and Beef and we got a different starter than we ordered. When we asked about it to the waiter he said kitchen is closed and he cannot order anything additional. again another main dish were not there as well . I believe the waiter was taking orders for easiness of preparation we have actually paid a very good amount and we haven’t got anything for the money we paid. very disappointed and dissatisfied. I am not sure whether all these reviews are true or made up ones. Never coming back here again.
Lunch time the prices are great, this is great for business lunch crowd. Great food, good service, good atmosphere, good value, nice and clean. Ginger tea was a great discovery. Add some coconut milk to your soup if you want to a wow.
I had a great experience dining at twin fish for the first time. Although the restaurant was really busy when we came in (Saturday at dinner time), we were taken care of right away and given the choice of which table we wanted to be seated at :) The customer service was excellent. Even though the restaurant was literally fully packed at one point, the waiters were super attentative and friendly. The food was excellent. Each time I visit a new Thai restaurant I like to order either the Pad Thai or the green curry as an easy indicator of the food quality. I ordered chicken and shrimp pad Thai and was very happy with my decision. Normally even some of the best Thai restaurants I've been to will over cook the chicken and shrimp and they will turn out dry, however at twin fish both the chicken and shrimp were super juicy and delicious!!! I normally can never finish my entire plate but I did this time! One thing I really loved were the chillies!!!! When i asked for chillies I actually received real grinded up green chillies which compliments the dish well . Sriracha just doesn't do it for me as it changes the flavour of the food and isn't spicy enough so I am happy twin fish had variety. I'm excited and cant wait to come back next time !! :):)
Went today for Take Out. Restaurant is clean. COVID measures in place & really friendly staff. The food was excellent, everything we ordered was just perfect. Will be coming back here for sure!
Twin Fish is probably one of the best, if not the best, Thai restaurant in Mississauga. The restaurant is clean and well decorated, the staff was friendly and polite and the food was cooked to perfection. Having a lot of experience with Thai cuisine, I found the food to lack the right flavour profile for Thai food. I done mean to say that food was bad, it was quite good to be honest, but it wasn't quite authentic Thai. Pricing is a bit on the high side but everything else was in good standing. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Four of us had lunch pad Thai with grilled chicken and unanimously agreed it was hard to call that dish pad Thai. It was advertised as The most popular lunch item. The noodles had no bean sprouts and barely any eggs. The service was decent, friendly staff.
Always excellent. Tasty. Good presentation and servers always courteous. It's our go to for Thai cuisine.
Twin Fish was recommended by a colleague from work, I had the chicken & shrimp Pad Thai, it was excellent! Very easy to see why they have such a high rating. Great food and service
I had a great experience on my birthday visit here. The staff and food were wonderful. Everything we've tried so far has tasted fresh and delicious. They are very busy and their service is exceptional! Thank you again for making our birthdays very enjoyable and special. They have free parking. Thanks
Honestly, Twin Fish has to be the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted ????. The food is exceptional, the place is super neat and the staff are very welcoming. Thank you for always filling our tummies!! God bless.
The Thai taste I was longing for. Got the mango salad and south Thai fried rice with tofu and vegetables. Both were amazing. Portions were large and the staff is very friendly. The ambience was also pretty good.
Best Thai place ever! Added bonus everyone who works there is amazingly so kind and nice. Amazing customer service!
The food was amazing but the night we went was really busy. We noticed other tables who came in after us had there meal served before us. We believe they might have forgotten or mixed up our main meal so it took more time then expected. Once we got the food it was worth it. But twice they came to confirm if we got one course which we did and said yes. 2 yrs ago we went the first time and they were not as busy and the service was great. We will go again but try for a less busy night.
Really really great options for lunch! Service is extremely quick and friendly. Food came out in about 5 mins and was such large portions. We had the Thai green Curry which was PHENOMENAL and the chicken satay skewers with mango salad and rice- everything was awesome in this dish except the rice was terrible. Really loved it here and will be coming back again!
I have been to this is restaurant a few times now and both to times the food was delicious. Very tasty. Everything I've tried did not disappoint. The owner is very friendly, great service. Great little Thai place. I'll take pics next time
5+++! The staff are all amazing and the food is always delicious! You have to try the Basil Fish! It's the best Thai dish we have ever tried and the Bangkok street style Pad Thai is amazing as well! They always give great recommendations and we've yet to try a dish we didn't love! This is our favorite Thai spot!
The food was excellent and the service was great too! I love the atmosphere there. It looks like a fine dining restaurant, but I would say the pricing is relatively reasonable for the kind of food. I got the Bangkok style pad Thai which is one of their recommended dishes and I didn't regret it! ????
Best Thai food on the West End and among the best in the province.
the most amazing thai food have ever had! how did i not know about you all these years? and i live in the neighbourhood. service was the best ever. the servers geneuinely enjoy their work. it was a full and busy day,but they had time for us. am coming back next week, am spreading the word out to all my friends, None compares to you guys! U rock!!!
Nice Thai restaurant in the area. The ginger lamb was delicious, the green curry was good too but the house special Thai Spicy noodles were a huge disappointment. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is the customer service leaves much to be desired. When we brought to the attention of staff that we did think the noodles were not what we thought (noodles with gravy) the server simply shrugged and said they can’t do anything about it. We even suggested just draining out the gravy and bring it out. They refused, not offering any solutions or alternatives. Not wanting to cause a nuisance, we ate them but the noodles were sooo bland. We brought that to the attention of the staff and the server sighed irritably and asked what we’d like to to do. We finally replaced it with mango salad. That was delicious! This restaurant is one of my mum in law’s fav but I ll probably pass on it in the future.
Went on a Saturday night and it was rammed. Me and my date loved that the heat was turned up cause it was -15 out and food gets cold quickly at restaurants during winter. Glad they’re aware of it. We had the red curry fried rice, basil tofu, pad tai and mango salad. Everything aside from the mango salad tasted incredible. Try the mango salad at Red Saigon for some fyre mango salad. Overall highy recommend for a hot date!!
Celebrated my daughter's birthday at Twin Fish and it couldn't have been a better choice! The evening was FANTASTIC! The service was top notch and the food scrumptious. Everyone in our party had a smile throughout the evening as we were serviced so well by every staff, especially Joey, who was gregarious and a linguist ???? - made us feel like guests in his home. They even played the birthday song on the PA system so the entire staff and restaurant guests sang along as they joined us in the celebration - it was a very nice moment. We represent a wide demographic; my children are millennials, we are baby boomers and my parents are seniors and everyone had a great time and a wonderful meal. I highly recommend Twin Fish if you are contemplating on going.
This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant in Mississauga! It's owned by a cute family and it's a very welcoming, intimate and family-owned business and you can tell they put their heart and soul into it. I go time and time again and the owners know us. I've been going there since they first opened and I'm happy to see the business grow into a busy location. Overall: wonderful service and great food!
Authentic flavourful Thai food with great service. Tried chicken pad Thai, Green spicy curry and Spicy Chicken noodle and all were excellent in taste and freshly made . Ambience is nice and cozy. Would recommend this as one of the must try food places for Thai food in GTA.
Twin Fish is definitely now my favourite Thai place. The food is so good. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful on the inside. The service is wonderful. I will for sure be visiting again and I would recommend Twin Fish to anyone! Try the curry pad Thai, it was delicious.
My favorite Thai food restaurant. Food is awesome and service so friendly. Try BBQ chicken pad Thai from lunch menu.
Amazing food, amazing people and service. Love to support this family-run business. Food has consistently been great and very well priced.
The food is very exquisite and fresh. The food is given in generous portions, along with very great service and the presentation of the food was very amazing.
If you like Thai Food and you want next level service, then you need to come here! I come to this place for company dinners, dinner with friends and just when I want to eat some great food. Top dishes (IMO) Basil Snapper Ginger Beef Basil Eggplant Green Curry General Tso Chicken Cashew Chicken Beef Curry Pad Thai with BBQ Chicken Lemongrass Chicken Masaman Curry Tamarind Shrimp On top of the great food, the staff is crazy awesome. They remember everything! They even remembered my dish that I ordered 6 months ago! This is a great place to go to. You need to eat here!
Easily one of the best overall restaurants in Mississauga and one of the best Thai restaurants in Ontario. The quality, freshness, and flavours of everything we tried was excellent. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend it.
0 STARS - Worse Thai curry EVER! (forced to give 1 Star for review) I have always loved authentic Thai coconut-milk curries, especially Panang (basically a red curry with crushed peanuts) and Massaman (a beef stew with potatoes and root vegetable version with the addition of cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, anise etc). The delivery order was for medium Thai-spicy 1. Chicken Panang and 2. Beef Massaman coconut curries. What we received were not spicy at all, rather sickly-sweet, bland, heavy tumeric-colored Indian curries and bad ones at that. Someone at Twin Fish should google 'Thai curry' and try to use some of the spices/ingredients to make the basic Thai curry paste. Panang and Massaman curries are known for their mix of protein and vegetables that blend so well with the spices. As for the finished curry itself, not a piece of a vegetable could be found in the Panang curry, and only 2 slices of onion and tomato were in the Massaman curry...tomato is not part of that recipe. These were the worst Thai curries I had in about 50 visits to real Thai restaurants worldwide, including Thailand. Bamboo Legend (Dundas and Winston Churchill) used to make great Thai curries a few years ago, but their ownership changed and they became quite bad...not Twin Fish bad however, that is hard to equal.
Food is always fresh and full of taste. Love the ambience and the hymns. The only feedback would be to serve food all in one go.
amazing food, appetizers, soups and salad, to mains, it is all is very delicious and fresh, very friendly staff, big portions, nice place and location, great service, one of the best restaurants in Mississauga/Brampton, food is worth the money spent.
Definitely the best Thai place I ever had in Mississauga.
Went there very late night after a long drive, the server was very friendly, and the foods was great portion and very tasty, will be returning!
WOW!! First time eating at Twin Fish and will definitely be back! I walked in to see if they did take out, (they do!!) and the restaurant was jammed. Ordered the Pad Thai, expecting with the restaurant being so busy it would take a while. My lunch came out in within 5 minutes, fresh and very hot. The Pad Thai is delicious! The chicken was fresh, the noodles cooked perfectly. The portion was large. Great atmosphere, service fantastic!
Food is not delicious. Ordered red snapper but was not fresh. None of the items were up to the mark. Waiting time was more than 30 mins for soup to come. Won't go back.
My first time at Twin Fish I immediately had a good feeling about it. Probably the best Thai place in the city. I can say with confidence everything on the menu is amazing. The Basil Lamb dinner and the Red Snapper Fillet with Basil are both delicious. Service here is also exceptional, the owner personally greeted me and gave his recommendations on what to order. You will not be disappointed.
The food is simply the best. I have tried many different menu items and nothing disappoints. The staff is also fantastic. Great service. Simply one of the best restaurants in Mossissauga
this was one of the worst thai places I've ever had. all the noodles were burnt in my pad thai but they did offer healthy pieces of chicken. the sauce was said to authentic but tastes like most other places. was told they have their own in house hot sauce but it's just chilli flakes on it. asked for no peanuts as per my allergy and they included it anyways. the pad see ew was dousted in soya sauce. you cannot taste any other flavor. threw the whole thing out upon one bite as they have no safety protocols for delivery just a paper bag left open. taste was not worth the price and the portions were ok. overall there are many places you can have thai better than this place
I usually have the same food cravings: sushi, pho and fried chicken. But when I heard we were having Thai, it hit all the right places: rice, seafood, noodles and somethin' crispy (spring rolls). Twin Fish is located in a restaurants-only plaza outside a Cineplex. It's your typical Asian restaurant with booths and tables that can be easily moved together to fit large groups. The staff are super friendly; they serve up authentic Thai food and have a sweet playlist. I went in a group of 5 on a Saturday night and we snatched up the last table in the house. Make sure you make reservations in advance because it fills up quickly! I tried the Bangkok street style pad thai with shrimp (wish I had been more adventurous but it was still very good) and we had calamari and black sticky coconut rice with mango to share. My friend, who is a regular, swore by the Thai coconut soup, fresh rolls (2) and spring rolls (2) instead of ordering one large entree. The spring rolls were stuffed, fat and super crispy (based on my observation) and I had major food envy. The prices are super reasonable and I plan on coming back the next time I'm in the area.
Delicious food, kind people, amazing atmosphere. I couldn't speak more highly of this restaurant. If you're in the area it is a must try. Their spring rolls and soups to start are both delicious choices. When it comes to mains from curries to meats and vegetarian or seafood they are all incredible.
It was Fantastic! I am vegetarian and they had a lot of very good options , I would recommend the green curry. The staff were really nice and friendly they took the egg out of our noodle dish and it tasted perfect .
The food here was really good! We ordered the mango sticky rice which was finished in 1 minute flat and the pad Thai was good too. We usually order from here because the mango sticky rice is so good. Before the pandemic we ate in the restaurant and the service was really good too. Would recommend 10/10.
Went in on a Friday night and the restaurant was busy but not overly packed. Got seated right away. I ordered the Mango Chicken and it was delicious. Our server was not the most attentive but the other servers made up for it. Would definitely go again.
Their best is the pad Thai! Green curry is also great! Huge appetizer!
I love their food and their staff is wonderful. Most recent trip was for my birthday and they helped make the day very memorable.
Bad: Their food seems to be drowned in hosion and oyster sauce. Their spicy is not at all of what a true Thai person would call spicy My particular experience was not good because: Hot & Sour soup tasted sweet and not sour They forgot to offer water The flat rice-noodles weren't fully cooked or at least not properly washed afterwards (stuck together in large clumps) The lemongrass beef dish had virtually no taste of lemongrass unless I chewed on the stick of lemongrass provided Good: Decor was pretty Food was well presented Staff was nice & patient Food came out quick It's a very boring place that someone who hasn't tried Thai food might be dazzled by the atmosphere so much that they don't realize their eating plain food.
We came to Twin Fish Courtney Park this evening and had a horrible dining ex= perience. We waited forever for our server to even acknowledge us or even bring water. We specifically asked for non spicy options but the pad Thai was was extremely spicy. We tried to discuss this with the waiter but he didn’tcare. I‘ve been here before and the food and service was good. Tonight the food and service was terrible! Very disappointed and terrible att= itude.
My wife and I somehow missed this place over the last several years we've come to the Courtney Park plaza. We're glad we eventually went! I had the Red Snapper with Spicy Curry and it was fantastic. The fish melts in your mouth. My wife got the Spicy Thai Noodles and they were quite good as well (and quite spicy!) Overall the staff were very friendly. One waitress wasn't super attentive and took forever to bring a coffee that I ordered but overall it was a great experience.
