We’ve been going to Skyway Jacks for years and love everything about it. We are on a first name basis with the owners and most of the staff. Sophia and Faye always greet us with a smile and a hug and make us feel that we are genuinely appreciated. From the moment we get inside the door until the moment we leave, we are treated like royalty. Skyway Jacks is the real deal when it comes to proper home cooked food. We have been to other breakfast places in the area several times in the past, but Skyway Jacks has our heart! Keep up the phenomenal work. I wish I could rate higher than 5-stars!

Not sure why this place has so many positive reviews. Customers should be advised that you're required to pay and tip before you get your food. if you don’t pre tip you get attitude from the young staff. The menu items are sloppily plastered around the front area in different places. Once you do get your food it's nothing to write home about. Very greasy and a little on the bland side, worst pancakes and the home fries were cold. Who is ever cooking this mess should be let go. Not a lot of value for the money vs what you can get elsewhere.I feel bad for the lady doing all the work while the young staff stand around doing nothing besides running their hands through their hair. They should be cleaning the place, it is so dirty and, surprised the health inspector hasn’t shutdown this place. I am truly sorry for my comments knowing how hard the lady works.

This place is like a mini diner. It’s so cute and the owners are very nice people. I like that they have a turkey bacon option and it’s very nice and clean and the wait isn’t too long to find a seat, even though it is a small place. The way it works is you order first and pay, and then you get seated. Getting a table is way faster this way because you don’t have to wait for your bill. We will definitely return soon!

If you are looking for a great old fashioned greasy spoon place this is a place to go. Went there with a friend for breakfast and really enjoyed it. We had their steak eggs Benedict and it was great. 3 eggs smothered in hollandaise sauce on top of perfectly cooked steak and a side of potatoes that were very tasty. I will definitely go back and wish it was closer to where I live so I could go more often.

Our first time here being Sunday, the place was packed.. the waitress was very helpful and explained to us the ordering process which granted is not a standard procedure but no where as complicated as some have pointed out - basically you order and pay at the counter first.. after ordering we got our table immediately.. while waiting they got us a plate of home made fries at no extra charge.. nice gesture! The fries were crisp and golden brown.. great taste too! They were also kind enough to change our order when we switched one waffle for a kids pancake platter.. Took about 20 mins to get our order - an eggs Benedict with side of fries, a blueberry Belgian waffle and the kids pancake plate.. everything was amazing!! The hollandaise sauce knocked it out of the park, the waffles were soft and the blueberry preserve was delightful.. we helped our kid with his chocolate pancake which I felt were the best we ever had.. the coffee and hot cocoa paired well with the food.. my son gave it a 5.1 star overall, unfortunately google doesn’t allow giving more than 5.. thanks guys! We will be visiting again soon!!!

nice family owned restaurant, didn't really know what to do when we got there but it is almost like an old diner joint. family is nice, and the waitresses were friendly. we really enjoyed the license plates all over the restaurant. our wait time was a bit long though - around 20 minutes... but food was good.

Very Rude lady Sophia (Sofia) spoiled our day.just now on Canada day me and my son went to have breakfast.ordered biggest Slap Jack breakfast and girl at front was very nice and we requested to replace bacon with one extra toast.Paid the money and when breakfast came there was sausage missing as breakfast comes with bacon and sausage and we only replaced bacon.A rude lady Sofia came while we were eating and said we are going to charge you for sausage and when I tried to explain She started shouting at me saying that she exactly know what we ordered and she was trying to shout at that nice girl too and I heard her saying to the girl "I know exactly what you replaced and ordered"as if she was trying to convince her not to say that she replaced only bacon and not sausage.Sofia was creating a scene there and I packed my food and came out and told her that I will put on social media how she treated us on Canada day. then she said do you want your money back.i refused and came home.they were not very busy today may be cause most people are out and she was showing her frustration may be.not sure.i would never go back.this is the food we packed and left the place without finishing eating.Sophia (Sofia)has no respect for anyone.so rude and disrespectful she could be on Canada day to spoil someone's day for a sausage.Can't Imagine we paid and were not asking anything free.Nice girl at front was not saying anything cause she knew what discussion we had and was quiet.She could not say anything to Sophia cause she raised her voice too much.Who is going to argue with her.we decided to leave rather then argue.

Had breakfast there this morning! My boyfriend and I both got the meal with eggs, toast, hash browns, French toast and bacon, and my brother tried the pancakes. Was super impressed with how quickly we got our food. Everything was delicious. My only draw back was the cost - 47$ for three people.

Edit on my review. We came by this weekend and service was horrible! Wait times was very long with little response from mgmnt. I witnessed a family with 2 young children that the female owner very rudely kicked out because the father asked how long the wait is. This used to be our favourite breakfast spot but not anymore. Management is very rude and unprofessional, bacon and food quality went down.

Best restaurant in town! Not only is the food amazing, the service is friendly, fast, and they make you feel like family! This is the only restaurant in town that is worth the small wait for a table. If the line is out the door...do not be affraid you will be sitting down enjoying the best meal you have had all day in moments with leftovers to take home for dinner or your lunch for work! Skyway Jack's is the only restaurant I miss after my move from the city and definitely worth the drive back!!!

This was my second time coming here on a Saturday & they had a line up both times. The line moves pretty fast, so you are seated in less than 15mins but your food doesn’t come out for another 15ish mins. Once I got in I was greeted very warmly & was given a menu to order from while I waited to be seated. The food tasted really fresh not oily & it’s really homestyle cooking. I got the block buster special which was a lot of food for just $10. Staff is very polite & you can tell people come there on a regular. I love mom & pap restaurants, it feels homely. The only con I have is that they need better ventilation in there. Since a lot of things are being fried & the kitchen is open style you leave there with an oily smell on your jacket/body

Came here twice now the first time was quick fast and wonderful service. I brought my brother for the 2nd visit and I couldn't say the same. The place was rammed and we had to wait for over 40 mins for our order. It was busy and some of the waitstaff was helping in the back. when the food did come out it was hot and delicious. I would visit again based on how busy it is. always check to see who's sitting and who's still waiting on food to give you an idea of how long you will be waiting for. edited *response to owner- I would understand the rush on new years day and i wouldn't complain about it! When I came the 2nd time it was Monday Dec 23rd at 1:15pm. I am being generous saying only 40 minutes but I'm sure after reviewing the date you may recall it was crazy busy! and to anyone reading this review it's a good thing this place is busy don't let it stop you!

Great little greasy spoon joint. They have an assortment of license plates all over the walls and are going for a roadside did we type of decor. The owners are I think are Greek and offer many choices that are from there. The all day breakfast is what makes this place, their portions are really good and overall the quality of the food is good. The only thing that I was a little bit suspicious of was the fact that our food came out in about 5 to 6 minutes of us ordering. It raised some questions about the freshness of the overall plates. Aside from that had a great time delicious food and I would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place for breakfast. Good quality fresh tasty food, most you can expect from a breakfast place. I went there after seeing the great reviews. And the place did not disappoint. Smallish, cozy place but it was quite busy. But got welcomed with huge smiles from hosts/cashiers and sat down shortly. Even though the place is not that big still they had plenty of staff working. And that is probably why the service is impeccable. Most of the staff seemed like family members or family friends. And the lady in charge walked over every single table to make sure everything is going well. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time, as a matter of fact she scooped some nutella form a jar and brought to our table despite being busy because my girlfriend was craving nutella. I really appreciate this kind of service and I am sure everyone will. A very young girl was walking around with coffee to offer refills. Another young girl was wiping every table frequently. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend giving this a visit. One humble suggestion for the cooks/management- Sprinkle of chives/parsley on the hollandaise

Cool place. The staff is great. Even though there's always a lineup, their system for ordering and seating is genius. You order when you walk in and they time it so when they are ready to seat you, they already have your order. We waited maybe 5 mins after seating for our freshly made breakfast. The food was solid. I guess they are known for their portions, but it wasn't anything to write home about. 25 cents extra for rye bread, buyer beware.

I love breakfast and everything involved in it. Skyway Jacks does breakfast right, from the portions, to food selection; they take the most important meal of the day literally. Their way of ordering at the front before being seated makes the best use of the small space that they have, and it puts less emphasis on service, and more on the experience with the food and the company you have with you. The staff are great, and never seem to miss a beat. Now I have to add one more restaurant to my breakfast/brunch repertoire on the weekends.

Hidden away between Mississauga Rd and Kimkat Rd, Skyway Jack’s prides their business on cleanliness, unprecedented customer service, excellent quality food and great sized portions. It’s a cozy, unique concept providing one of the best Canadian breakfasts that the city of Mississauga has to offer. Wait time is minimal and breakfasts are served hot and fresh. 5/5 Stars. Excellent restaurant. Phenomenal customer service. We hope to be back soon.

They have a weird system where you have to order and pay first...including tip, then give you the cash back for the tip. Then you get a seat. Odd for a diner set up. Waitresses are attentive. Not sure how it would work if you wanted to order something else though. Food was good. Had the breakfast and everything came out as expected. Tasty dusting on the homefries, eggs cooked properly, bacon done perfectly. Lots of parking out back and easy access to the highway if that's a need. Check it out!

They completely screwed up my order, and took full responsibility!! One of the few restaurants to serve amazing food and customer service. I have been coming to SkyWay Jacks once every couple of months for two years now. Every time I do come they are on point and serve us with exceptional food and service. Today was busy and they messed up my order. Instead of being like any other restaurant they actually owned up and were so kind about it. Only a few restaurants are this caring of their customers. Nice little corner diner spot bit out west in Mississauga (for non natives, yes it’ll look like middle of no where when you make the turn but keep going!). You order before sitting. To answer one of the complaining review regarding tips before eating, if you feel uneasy about it and have cash you can just pay later. The serving portion vs price ratio is next level. I ordered their breakfast special which comes with 3 eggs, 2 peameal bacon, 3 slices of bacon, 3 sausages, homefries and toast, all for $14.99 (at the time of writing). I consider myself a glutton that usually needs to order extra to feel satiated but I was fully satisfied after that order. The food itself was decent with no complaints at all. Nice and juicy sausages. Peameal bacons were perfect too, not dried up like most spots. All in all def worth coming back.

Skyway Jack's Breakfast & Lunch - We (6 persons) were there on a saturday at noon time , there was a lineup at the door. The staff there ensure us that the wait time is very short. Within 2 minutes we already ordered our lunch and another minutes , the staff directed us to a table. Its very amazing fast. The food are delicious and very big size, we all like it. If you serve bacon like this you might as well don't. It's cooked to rock hard, trying to use a fork to pick it up will break it in halves because it's very very dry. You order and pay first at the cashier before sitting down, so it's up to you if you want to leave a tip or not. When the food is ready, a server will take it out to you, that's it, very minimal service. All in all, food is below average, and don't expect watering service like a regular restaurant.

Here's a better breakdown. First visit- service was really friendly and welcoming--great! I had the 3 eggs with bacon special. The portion size for the meal was smaller than any breakfast spot I've been to recently and roughly 4 dollars more expensive. (15 with 15% gratuity.) Food was good, but not good enough to justify the price. Second visit, service is still excellent and friendly. I had the "homemade" burger and fries. The burger is 100% frozen store-bought which tatsed exactly like a pc burger from Fortinos. Fries were generic (still tasty) and not homemade. Again, portion size was on the smaller side for the price. Third visit, service is still great and friendly. I had the chicken souvlaki. Chicken was cooked well but did not have the texture or taste of fresh not frozen chicken. The potatoes and salad were great. Again, portion size was small for the price. I'm sorry the owner felt personally attacked by my review, I'm just being honest. There was no mention of the integrity of the staff or family at all in my review, not sure why he felt the need to take it there. Like all places, check it out for yourself and decide!

Bobby's was busy so drove up the street to try this place, and we were not disappointed. Homefries were nice and crispy, and eggs were don't as asked. Bacon was crispy too (the way I like it). Only the coffee was a bit disappointing, but when I come back I'll have tea.

Like omg! Amazing food, amazing customer service. Me and my friend went for first time and honestly I was a bit stressed as it was so crowded and I am not good with crowded places. Waitress sensed it and was so welcoming and warm that I forgot the surroundings! In 5 mins, we ordered the food and were seated. Food came and it was home made delicious! There were four waitresses and not a for a moment we felt all by ourselves. I guess there's a reason this place has 4.6 rating. I think they deserve a full 5! We will come back soon

The food is really good. The service was not the greatest. I had let one of the server's know we were ready to order twice and she said she would send someone over. When someone did finally arrive, they said that we had to order at the cash first and then the food will be brought to the table. It would have been nice to know this before we sat down. They need to have a sign as soon as you enter explaining this process. I would definitely go back because the food was great!

I go to school out of town and when ever I come back I always make an effort to come and get my favourite breakfast. This restaurant is one of the best hidden gems that Missisauga has. The staff is always so pleasant and really bring the feel of having a "family style" meal. Overall, I love this place and would hands down give them 6 stars if I could!

However the system is a bit weird, you sit down and then once you have chosen what you would like, you have to go up to order and get a ticket. The only things the servers do is bring ur food. And fill your coffee. You could tell that the servers were new but they did not do a horrible job they came to make sure u always had coffee. I asked for a glass of water and was given a baby cup so I feel like that should be better. Also it’s kind of hard to find when driving passed because there is construction on the outside of the building.

One of the true gems just outside of Streetsville. All day breakfast, tremendously generous portions, but they don't just specialize in breakfast - they make all kinds of great comfort foods. First time here, hear rave reviews about this place but frankly a bit disappointed. We drove all the way from Newmarket. Price and food portion were okish, not super huge portion. We have several bfast places at Newmarket that serve similar food with much better portion, cheaper and way way better presentation. We were told to order/pay at the counter and then grab any available seats. However felt like we were rushed to order instead of taking our own time to look through the extensive menu for the first time. To make it worse, the price is not listed in the menu. Other customers behind us were given the menu, have their seats and order whenever they are ready. UPDATES REPLY TO THE OWNER: I most definitely nv mentioned the food is super exp and nv compared it with a michelin star restaurant. I said the price is just okay regular pricing. What I said about the prices not listed in the menu is true am i not. How do u expect someone to look at ur menu and at the same time look up the signages for the pricing all over on the wall while standing in front of the counter. I also nv question ur transparency about ur price. Probably you are good just serving ur regular customers who knows what they want. An old system that has been in place for generation doesn't mean it's the best system! There is always room for improvement!

I’ve been meaning to write about this place for a while. I used to come here a lot with my family when I was a kid. I decided to take my cousins recently for my 18th birthday. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff is kind and friendly, the atmosphere is also great. Been coming here regularly for the passed 3 years on Saturday mornings. Service is always fast (faster than waiting at McDonald's in some cases) and super friendly. Your food is delivered to your table before you even get a couple sips of coffee in. The food is always good (big portions), prices are very fair and the servers come around with coffee top ups every ten minutes or so. On top of all that the place is homey and plays good music. Would highly recommend Skyway Jack's!

TL;DR: good diner food. Good service. Skyway Jack's is a diner located a little but off the 401 on Mississauga Rd. They serve traditional breakfast fare as well as a variety of lunch options that you would usually see in a diner. Seating is fairly limited, as it's not a large location but it doesn't feel cramped inside. The servers were friendly and helpful when I walked in explaining how things work there (order first then sit). They came by pretty often with coffee and tea which was awesome so you never have to wait long between cups. I ordered eggs and sausages. There's not too much to write about them other than they tasted great and were very satisfying. I was hoping to spend a little less there ($25 before taxes for 2 people) but I can't really complain because portion sizes were great, unlimited coffee and good taste.

My husband and I used to come on the weekends when we were dating. Now we bring our children. The staff is friendly and so sweet to the kids. The food is always great. My husband even ran and got me a huge take out breakfast after the birth of our 2nd child. Was the best back then and is still the best today!

Really nice. I live about 15 minutes from here and anytime i want a nice breakfast that mom would be proud of i come here. Today i went with my girlfriend, we both had the first speacial listed on the left at waist height when you come in. Toast, bacon sausage and eggs as you like. Awesome, i was full and could have lasted either a day of shopping or... a nap lol. The coffee is great and the OJ is the good stuff. The potatoes... well, just like mom used to make, obviously hand made (peeled cut etc) for the price, it can't be beat. I gave only 4 starts cause i am 'not a nice guy' lol. Enjoy!

This place is a gem. It's an old school diner; they keep it nice and simple. Portion sizes are great and the food always tastes good. We've been at all times and the service and quality remains high. Don't be discouraged if you see a line out the door, it's a small place but they turn tables quickly. It can get tight and chaotic at times with people waiting for a table but they're very good at making sure the queue is in order.

First time there since the pandemic started and it's as awesome as ever! Generous portions, eggs cooked eggcelently, sausage, bacon, and peameal are all great quality, and the coffee keeps coming! They freshened up the place with new booths, paint and menus, felt very nice and open and staff were all great!

Real nice Diner, serves breakfast all day long. Food with large portions and tasted pretty good. The potatoes could you use grilled onions and peppers and the corn beef hash should have been left on the skillet to form that crust, maybe they do it different than we do in the south.

This is a great little diner! Food is typical of a greasy spoon: eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries, toast. French toast, too! All made excellently! The staff are very friendly and pulling out all the stops to ensure their customers have a good experience. Unfortunately, they are so popular that they are very busy and there are not enough tables to serve the mass of people who eat here. It's the location; it's a very small restaurant. Even with the long wait to sit down, I'd definitely go again!

My apologies for making assumptions, I was wrong and I've edited my review below and removed the information that was incorrect on my part, and changed the rating as well. I also appreciate the offer to make up for the bad experience. That being said, I hope people reading my review will see it for what it is. I tried to be as fair as possible with the information I had, and did share the positives along with the negatives. Please remember *kind people of the internet* that I too am only human and can have a bad experience even when staff tried their best. Was in the area on a Sunday around lunch and decided to try it out based on the glowing reviews. There were 4 of us, 2 kids and 2 adults. Was busy, but welcomed by a friendly staff member who was super sweet with our kids. She asked if it was our first time there and we said yes. She then provided us with menus and explained that we needed to order and pay at the front cash and it would be about a 5-10 minute wait for our table. I ordered our meals and we were seated about 5 mins later. We got our drinks right away and then we waited for our food, and waited, and it was pretty hot inside because of the weather outside. The staff were really great at refilling my coffee several times which was appreciated. It had been 20 mins of waiting already when the person who greeted us signaled me from the front to say our food was coming up. Then another waitress came to our table to say the same, that our food was coming right up. Another 5-10 minutes passed and then one of the waitresses went to the table next to us (they had just been seated for 5 mins) and we overheard her apologize to them for the wait and provided them with a complimentary plate of home fries for their trouble. We were super hungry and tired by this point and in the moment, this made me frustrated because I felt we were being ignored while this other table was being catered to. The main waitress who greeted us then came to our table with our kids’ meals and while she didn’t speak to us directly about it, I overheard her talking to the other waitress and think complimentary home fries that went to the other table was meant for us. They even brought a second plate of home fries for the other table. Good intentions, but in the moment frustrating for us. The main waitress who greeted us did apologize and told us she would make it up to us in some way but "didn't know how" (paraphrasing), but never did. Based on her saying that, I didn't think I needed to complain about the situation because the staff were clearly aware of the long wait as they were trying to make up for it. We received our two remaining meals about 5 mins later. A waitress did come over to afterwards to ask if everything was good to which I responded yes. The food was fine, nothing outstanding, and fresh, which is what I expected. At this point I was super frustrated and because one of the staff acknowledged they would make it up to us, I decided not to voice my displeasure at that point in time because I thought it would be dealt with. I was dissapointed that they didn't address it before we left. At the end of the day, I had an overall decent visit, the service for the most part was good, the wait was not, and there were good intentions from the staff to make up for the long wait that were not executed well due to human error.

Skyway Jack's is one of the best breakfast places in Mississauga. Awesome SERVICE! Folks serving are always smiling and your coffee always gets refilled! They serve a delicious and delectable Eggs Benedict. House favorites include Block Buster Special and Crack of Dawn. If you want meat overload....get the Protein Lovers Breakfast....3 slices of each...Peameal bacon , sausage and regular bacon. If that doesnt fill you up, i dont know what will. 5 stars all around....highly recommended!

My first time trying this place and it was ok, I was a bit disappointed due to all the good reviews and found it to be just average. I had the big breakfast combo ($15) and it was an average breakfast in many ways. I found the potatoes to be a bit greasy and the pancakes did not taste that great. It's a very small place and the decor is outdated to say the least. The place feels very cluttered. There is lots of parking available on site and the staff were very nice. Overall an average breakfast place, not sure if I will be back.

Our order: ------------ - Hungry Man (three small eggs, two toast, home fries, beef burger patty with tomato) = $12 - Grand Slam (three small eggs, two bacon, two sausage, two pancakes) = $11 Pros: ------------ - More seating/quicker table turnover than you'd expect from a place this size (probably because of the "pay first, then sit and eat" system) - Service is really great. They're very friendly and quick. You order and they bring the food to your table. - Food isn't bad Cons: ------------ - Yes, food isn't bad, but it was so average that I genuinely feel I could have made everything in my dish better with little effort (e.g. Eggs were really small and so so dry, which is pretty basic in my experience and I'm hardly a chef) - I don't think you get value for money, but pricing is not far off from a breakfast chain (e.g. Egg Smart, Cora's). But we looked at the Hungry Man and were surprised it was considered a "hungry" portion. - Honey B Hives in Scarborough is far superior. Their "hungry" portion - the Working B Breakfast - comes with three regular sized eggs, home fries, three bacon, three sausage, three ham (you can pick three types of meat and you get three pieces of each), and three pancakes. And it's only $10 ($2 less than Skyway's Hungry Man).

The portions are very big and the cost is cheap! Sometimes you'll see the line out the door but don't just drive on...it goes quick and trust me the wait is worth it!!! Great staff and great food at an amazing price. Only problem is short on seating. Atmosphere is cozy and entertaining but just a little small. With such great food and staff they deserve to be in a bigger place. Went on a Sunday morning and they were SLAMMED but the staff did not show an ounce of irritation, they were friendly and accommodating. I saw a review complaining about paying upfront.....not sure how that is a problem???...also they have price lists/menus to look at. If you are looking for great food at a great price definitely check them out. You will not regret it.

Edit: after a year, this is by far the best place to have a breakfast. So delicious and superb customer service. I went here for the first time. My Bf brought me here for brunch. I got all dressed up. My mistake lol. Casual dining, busy, small cramped spot. But why the good review? Because the food was good. The service was amazing. Honestly. Coffee /tea was constantly refilled. And although there was an error in my order, it was fixed almost immediately and they sent over a plate of extra homefies which was good because I love them. I got a sincere apology and kind service. I will definitely be back again and again, but this time in my best comfy pants!
