Dirty. The chef/owner came out of the kitchen and his hands/nails were literally dirty. Is he a construction worker or a cook? If he prepares food with dirt under his nails, Health and Safety should inspect.

The Rolling Pasha is a must try. I was amazed by the FRESH pita - they’re incredibly soft!!! The hummus is deliciously creamy and the onions are perfect. The entire meal takes me back home! Will definitely be returning soon- and often!!

Delicious new outpost of the downtown hidden favourite. The 12:10 to Marrakech in a pita was nice and fresh and very well seasoned. As with any new shop, they're still working out a few issues like orders taking a bit longer than expected. Also, our serving dishes still had the original label and price tag attached which made me wonder if it had been properly cleaned before use.

Wow! We were impressed by this little “food court restaurant!” The food is delicious and the service was amazing! You must try this if you’re at the Food District in Square One and looking for a good meal. There’s lots of treats in the same area like doughnuts and macaroons, but Plancha is definitely a place to eat! Highly recommend and we will be back! We purchased our meals to go. It comes with pita and a side salad!

Today I arrived promptly at 3:00 at square one mall for what I thought was going to be a quick, afternoon brunch filled with tranquility, unfortunately I was I sadly mistaken. Shortly, my peaceful brunch then took a quick turn as deranged rampageous behaviour from two high school student customers ensued. which made it hard for me to properly enjoy my meal. I'm unsure of the cetain circumstances however I sensed a strange reciprocity and relationship by the way these students were interacting with the owner and the cooks. Another strange this is that the owner appears to be at least 20 years older than these 16 year old high schoolers. I know this for a fact because they were talking so obnoxiously loud that it was getting increasingly harder for me to enjoy my hummus plate causing me to try and eat faster because by this point I was just uncomfortable. I shouldn't be coming to such a small and casual diner and have to encounter strange, aberrant, erratic, idiosyncratic behaviours. These were the most obnoxious immature teens I have ever encountered in my whole life. They were vigorously shouting at the employees in the kitchen. Meanwhile the owner was engaging fellow customers in their foolish nonsense, asking one passerby if they think the students were good together as lovers... If you consider coming here, I recommend getting your mouth-watering, delicious food to-go, as you may never know which strange encounters you might have to endure.

Poor customer service. Your google store profile shows closes at 7pm. Your whatever chef is saying through the window that you close at 6pm. It's 545pm. There's no cashier teller at the front to be seen. Not going to have my service in the future ever. Good luck.

Great food! I know there are comments about the price but for the freshness and taste of the food it is completely worth it! I work in the mall and it's difficult to find food that is quick, healthy, and tasty, Plancha is definitely going to be one of my go tos from now on for lunch and dinner!

I came to order food, however, before ordering i wanted to inquire about the Halal certification. The associate working said he didn’t have a certificate. I asked if it was machine slaughtered or hand slaughtered, the associate said he had no idea. I asked if he knew where the meat is from or who the meat provider is, he said he didn’t know. I asked if he knew whether the owner is muslim, he said the owner is Moroccan. So i asked again if the owner is Muslim, the associate said he didn’t know that information either. The associate was extremely unhelpful, he couldn’t be bothered to help or even try to help either. I asked “Do you really not have a certificate? How could you not have one if it says you guys are Halal?” He responded with saying he has it but has no idea where it is. So it turns out he actually did have a certificate i guess, but initially gave me the answer that it didn’t exist. He didn’t seem like he wanted to look for it either. I asked if he could maybe ask someone else if they know the answers to any of my above question, he said nobody knows. I tried googling information about the restaurant halal status but since it’s a new business i couldn’t find anything. I would’ve loved to enjoy a meal but couldn’t determine if it was actually halal meat or not, and the associate was completely useless so i left. The restaurant was not busy at all, so he could’ve definitely tried finding the answers to my questions if he wanted to help. The associate wore a hat backwards, had greying longer hair, seemed like an older individual. completely useless man. would suggest hiring more informed associates and those that are actually willing to help.

My buddy treated me to the Rolling Pasha Pita for lunch one day. It had a good balance of flavors and quite juicy. I'm not sure if the value was that great at a $13.95 price point.

Hi, Me and my girlfriend comes here a lot and I actually show this place to my girlfriend. I interact with the Chef (owner) couple of times. He is a great guy and his recipe and food are great. Unfortunately me and my girlfriend came to this place tonight March 1 at 6:45 on the dot. The Chef is charge didnt even try to accomodate us and his reason is that the place is about to close even though there is 1 and 15mins before the mall close I best believe that this lack of accomodation will have impact in the future. In addition Customer Service is one of the most essential skills of a Chef especially in the restaurant structure like Plancha iat Square One where interacting with clients from Chefs are somewhat necessary. Me and my girlfriend are just disappointed with the Chef in charge not having empathy for the situation. I believe as a regular customer that we deserve a little understanding especially when the matter is reasonable.

My absolute go to place in square one, super tasty, healthy and quality food every time. This is not your typical fast food, so dont be deceived by the comments that say the food is pricey. This is a high-end-restaurant quality for a cheap price.

Got my order within 10 minutes. I got the Hummus ful and it was great. Ful tastes like how my family makes it in Egypt. Only thing I would say is to add a bit more tahina to the hummus. Won’t hold that against them though. 5/5 in my eyes.

There's a variety of different types of food. There's a halal sign on the menu as well. The price is quite steep when compared to the quantity of food provided. We had the 12:10 to Marrakesh with couscous which was quite fresh and flavorful. Took an awfully long time to prepare though as they only have a couple of people taking orders and preparing dishes.

Amazing food, more than the standard couple of options one usually gets for vegetarian fare in Mediterranean cuisine. Loved the Tofu Shwarama plate we had for lunch- the flavors, the aroma, and the tastefully put together presentation. The hummus and salad alongside was fresher than what we have had in recent past at other places. The staff was working really hard during rush hour, and yet did not miss a thing in the preparation. Highly recommended, we will visit again to try out the other stuff on their menu.

Pricey for what you get. $18 (tax included) for a santorini plate? Kind of a rip off. The man preparing my food had dirt under his fingernails and wasn’t wearing gloves when cutting my pita bread. He also handled cash, then prepared my plate without washing his hands. The portions were so small. Food tasted ok. Rice was a bit too oily. Not worth the $18 in my opinion.

People who love healthy options will love this place. I like their fusion meals. I ordered through their ritual service. When I went to pick up, no one greeted me or even offered to help. After waiting for few minutes I had to ask if my order is ready. The cashier just handed the food to me and started doing other work without even saying a word. However I am still giving five stars because the food tasted delicious.

I rarely ever write reviews, but I just happened to be at Square One looking for food options. I love a good chicken wrap and decided to give the 12:10 To Marrakech Pita a try...I have to say, it was the best I've ever had! The chicken was tender and juicy, the pita was warm with a soft crunch. Toppings were well balance and the perfect blend of flavoring. My only gripe was the wait time, as there was only one person taking orders and making the food. But it was worth the wait! Will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area.

First time visit when they opened and was very impressed with the quality and freshness. of the ingredients used. The food is very delicious and the date syrup is fantastic. The service will need to improve and at last one more person is needed in the back to assist the amazing chef. My order was supposed to have tofu and quinoa, both were missing and had to be added after I mentioned it to the front staff. One gentleman's order was forgotten entirely while his partner had their's and was already eating. A few people had requested their orders to go and had to be redone. Prices are a bit high for plates at over $16 even for breakfast, must be due to high rent .Definitely has potential to be a great lunch spot and strong contender with the rest of the merchants but you have to be on point.

The owner here is a really good guy but no offence, speechless with the cashier. I waited for over 30 MINUTES to get one order. When I was ordering my meal I said "two the same" and asked for the home made hot sauce( it's really good and ppl should try), whereas the cashier only prepared one and forgot to give me the hot sauce????! there were two girls just ordered before before me, and when I got my "30 minutes prepared meal " they had already finished their food, moreover, it took another 10 minutes for another same thing in my order.

Very little food for steep prices. Don't be deceived by its looks. I got the 12:10 to Marrakech plate. You get a bowl of couscous with a few extremely tiny strips of chicken (can't even tell there's chicken in there). And the salad was just leaves with 2 tiny pieces of cucumber and a cherry tomato. And a couple small pieces of pita. Expected much better food with a lot less cheap filler.

Super cute place with delicious Mediterranean dishes! I really like the "Rolling Pasha" on quinoa, but the "Fainting Priest" is the best. Benny the guy behind the counter is really nice. They've been open 3 days, so still working out some of the kinks. But the food is amazing! Best place to eat in Square 1!

My Hummus plate tasted AMAZING but they only gave one baby sized sliced of warm pita bread for a mountain plate of hummus... Not to mention, spoons were nowhere no be found, missing according to the naked human eye, and was only provided a impractical, dysfunctional fork that was completely and utterly inappropriate on this occasion of time... allowing all the hummus to begin proceeding with seeping through the gaps of the fork... falling through the in betweens.

This is located in the new section of the SQ.1 mall the food district. I went there for breakfast today to try it out, It was my first time there and I noticed they had a 10$ off when you order through the App so I downloaded the app and ordered but I chose the wrong location by mistake so I informed the owner and he was very nice person he called the other location and cancelled my order then he processed my order at this location. I found the food was delicious, fresh and healthy and the customer service was excellent

Really shocked at they way they treat women here. The girl ahead of me didn’t get chickpeas in her bowl and the guys laughed and said “well you took too long to order”. This didn’t make any sense since her order included chickpeas. Disrespectful.

Too much tahini in the Hummus Pasha and not enough meat - there were four tiny burnt pieces and the pita they gave with the hummus bowl is incredibly tiny!
