You will be able to see the reviews of real people who know the services of La Castile (Restaurant) in the area of Mississauga (Canada).
Right now this business gets a rating of 4.4 stars out of 5 and this score was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that it has an average rating is high, and it is based on a large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the valuation is very reliable. If there are many people who bothered to give their feddback when they've done well, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually bother to put tatings when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Restaurant corresponds to the category of Steak house.
Wow the place is amazing. It exceeded my expectations. For the price which is really reasonable for a steakhouse, they give you a lot of value for your money. The service was traditional, old-school service. On point. Put this place on your list for a special occasion!
Absolutely amazing food. Let me start off by saying this place looks visually amazing on the outside and the inside. Perfect for a date night. The food comes reasonably fast despite having many people. The chefs they have there a simply professional. The staff are older, very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this place fancy dinner place to anyone looking to enjoy a night out!
Beautiful dining experience. Friendly staff, delicious food, romantic atmosphere.
Fantastic place, super clean, delicious food, fast serving, reasonable prices and t cozy????????
Service
An institution, and while not being able to eat inside the very cool place (it's like a medieval Castle inside), the food for takeout is amazing, and the service is great Highly recommend the rib steak and carrot cake.
I found the food to be very ordinary at extremely high end steak house prices. The tent they put up in the parking lot is a nice atmosphere but the service was extremely slow, the steak was very average and sides were sub par compared to downtown steakhouses. Good Caesar salad though. I wouldn’t jump through hoops to return anytime soon
The staff was rude.. I almost felt like I was a burden upon them . I have never felt so insulted by staff at a high end restaurant before. For example..nwhen I asked what the waiter would recommend for my wife drink, as she does not drink alcohol... his response was rudely.." i dunno.. water ?".. he then told us to look at them menu to decide.. not offering anything.. I ordered a I virgin long Island.. That's was the first of several rude encounters over encounters over eve. I will never go back or recommend this place... i wasnt happy with the food either.. This is the worst restaurant review I have ever given.

A restaurant itself is very beautiful with elegant interior yet the mediocrity of the food was quite disappointing. Out of all the things I’ve ordered during the whole night, nothing wowed me, especially considering the prices, let’s say I had big expectations. The Chicken Neptune was bland and yet the fishy taste from the crab on top was very prominent. I wouldn’t recommend you ordering it.
The food and team here is absolutely AWESOME!!! - We came here after work as a team and simply loved every min of our visit. Thank you La Castile team - yum yum yum
My curb-side experience was an extension of the wonderful service provided for dine-in. Ordering our meal was simple and the staff member was making me feel like a long time friend. When I arrived to pick up my order, I only had to open my truck and they took care of the rest. The note written on the container was sweet and I will definitely order again. La Castile cares about the community and we care about them!
As usual another fantastic evening at La Castile. Service was top notch / food was great and Helen was pure class with my surprise desserts. Love You All - cheers - JayT
The food was very good ( don't order the cheese plate, cheap crackers and marble cheese) the service was good enough. I have been going to this restaurant for years . I enjoyed the elegance and detail . No more. Cheap table setting, menu is become very basic ( but still good) the atmosphere feels dated and unkept. Living very much on their reputation from the past. I will not be going anymore.
They have a beautiful patio tent. The food as always Delicious. They are a high end but you are getting what you pay for. The service will make anyone feel like a VIP
Great restaurant, with good ambience. Customer Service is great, all the servers were friendly and on the ball. Only reason for not giving 5 stars, is the Oysters, I expected better for the price! I also had the Caviar, which was one of the best I've ever tasted. I highly recommend it.
Ok its Christmas season so we have to take things with a grain of salt. I haven't eaten there in a long time. So we go in and there are Christmas parties going on so big confusion going through the coat check. Check in and were told to go on in. Were do we wait? Well 5 min later someone comes by to take us to our table which looks like they added tables to accommodate more poeple. For the price you would expect some things in the way of service. Food was good and delicious. Perfect timing however a bit rushed. They were busy but, when your water is not topped up or the waiter tries to take your plate before you finish well.... lf you are expecting high quality service this is probably not the time. It was more a family restaurant experience but way more the price. Maybe a good place outside Holliday days
Food was on point, one of the best steaks I've had. Prices were a little nuts but it is what it is. If the prices were a little more in the real world then I'd go five stars but I can't get there with a plain baked potato.
The only thing that makes this place worth coming to is the scenery. We came here for a birthday and had so many issues. 1) They do not provide complementary desert on your birthday 2) The staff was very hostile, unfriendly and even RUDE 3) The food was mediocre, especially considering the prices 4) There was a hair in my food and I did not even get a sorry 5) They screwed up my food order Moral of the story... do not come here. Especially for a birthday because you will be disappointed.

My favourite place to get lamb. Cooked to perfection with a mint green jelly to compliment the flavors. My six year old can't get enough of their steak and their shrimp&scallops pasta! Clean patio and welcoming staff keeps us coming back !!!

Great decor and service. Delicious apps and the steaks were cooked really well.

Food is exceptional with amazing customer service and unbelievable inside out looks. I highly recommend it and if you want to impress someone or your associates, this is the place.
The food was really good. We had the Platter for 2 and Fried Calamari. Portion size was perfect for us, could take home some leftovers. The ambience is on the intimate side. Meaning lighting is dimmer. Great for a date. Seating was reasonably comfortable, due to the big chairs with arm rests and high backs. Although, the seating is a bit close to other customers. Customer service was very professional. Definitely would bring my guest there.
Great ambiance. The starters were quite delicious and big in size. Had I known, I would ordered one instead of two. Our main course comprised of a rack of lamb and charboiled steak. Both were well garnished and well presented. The meat was juicy and tender. We had an amazing time. Couldn't manage any room for desserts. Great wine selection btw and servers knowledgeable enough to suggest great wines according to my liking.
Nice place especially for groups . Place from inside is unmatched. It feels like a real medieval castle. Food and service are top notch
One of the nicest, fanciest and tastiest restaurants I been to. Their prices are above average, but their food is amazing. Their steak are cooked to perfection the way you ask for and the waiters are all older men, professional and friendly. The place it self is super fancy and such a great vibe to be there. The interior looks like a castle, just beautifully done.
The shrimp in my shrimp cocktail were huge but unpleasant to eat, very tough, and I was told that is what they are like when they are that big. Not impressed. Otherwise it was a great experience, but not one I'm likely to repeat.
One of my favorite places! The shrimp cocktail is like none you have seen!! Get it!! The steak and lobster are always tasty! The pasta is good too. The service is classical top rate. The ambiance is wonderful! It is expensive but it worth it!!
The food is horrible horrible horrible, we are 6 people, non of usaet his food, the service sway more than horrible, terrible and when the time to pay and we wanted to give our opinion in the food, he was so shameless and rude as if we are complaining to run from paying the bill, omg I've never seen such bad food and bad energy like that in my life, it's the castle of bad energy and rudeness
I love this place. The food is excellent. The staff are excellent. The atmosphere is excellent. This is the perfect place for adult dinners, dates, drinks and celebrating. The dining area is across two main large floors. It's very intimate and classy with traditional wood finishes and open spaces. There is a lounge downstairs with live music which is perfect for relaxing and having some drinks. No hipsters here. This is a proper, sitdown, classy place with really good and real.people in a great setting.
Service
The platter was very indulgent and well worth every penny. This old school steak and seafood house is one of the best in the city and the decor can't be beat.
One of my all time favorite steak houses...and still is! Great food and great service as usual!

La Castile is an experience from the quality of food and dining atmosphere. Youvcan't go wrong ordering any item from the menu.
The atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious. Would have given it a 5 star, however the staff was hovering over us and it felt as if they thought my date and I were going to dine and dash. It made dinner kind of uncomfortable.

Great atmosphere! Great Ambience! Fantastic waiters and hosts. Fantastic meal. We were treated like Royalty. Thanks to Spero for his kind gesture with a complimentary drink. 10 out of 10.
La Castile is a institutional steakhouse. The full experience. From the moment you enter the parking you feel your at a special place. The place feels like a mixture or Hogwarts and old church style vibe. This is definitely a more mature …
Beautiful restaurant inside and out. They have coat-check, which in my opinion is handy. We sat on the upper level. Food was good. Not as superb as other high end steakhouses, but enjoyed the filet mignon. I agree with other reviewers that the service was a little rushed, even though the place was nearly empty. Enjoyed the tiramisu. Great spot overall, but definitely room for improvement.
Most amazing food , ambience, service. But so pricey. It's a one time try but worth it.
Fantastic as always! We have been here many times over the years ! Since before we had kids almost 30 years ago. Now they bring us here.
Unfortunately, my dinner on Saturday, Aug 28th was filled with errors and disorganization. First, we asked for water without ice - waitress didn't adhere to that. Second, I asked for a medium-well steak, and upon noticing the rare colour and bleeding, I brought up my concern to the waitress. She said there is nothing wrong and it's not bleeding. However, when the waiter who took our order came by, he said he can take it back to the kitchen to have it cooked more. He then confirmed it was not medium-well, and it was significantly undercooked. When the steak was returned, it was perfectly cooked. However, for a steakhouse, you cannot make these errors; this error, combined with the water with ice, as well as the waitress who both poured water with ice, and told me there is nothing wrong with the steak, is the reason for the 1-star. This is not a cheap restaurant; with steaks costing nearly $100, cocktails $30+, and a total dinner for 2 in the hundreds of $$$, you expect perfection. I could have gone to Keg, or any cheap chain restaurant with $30 steaks, and get both better service and quality of food. Clearly, they are extremely disorganized during busy Saturday dinner hours and also lack customer service. Despite the delicious appetizers, drinks, and a steak which had to be recooked, I will not be returning.
This place is a gem. Came across this restaurant impulsively when We were in the area and so glad we did. Service was great, loved the atmosphere and the interior and food was delicious. Looking forward to going back!
The classic restaurant was built in the 70s. The atmosphere is much better than steaks!
This restaurant is the most beautiful, fair priced fine dining spot in all of the GTA. Gianni, Fay, Stacey, George and the rest of the staff here at La Castille are unmatched. They treat you like family. Have been here 15 times and will continue to come here for great food and all celebratory dinners. Thank you La Castille!
One of the oldest steakhouse's in Mississauga close by to HWY 427 and Dundas beside the Toyota dealership, I don't think you can miss the mansion that is sitting between plaza and with a pair of fire illuminated pillars. We've been here …
The portion of food is huge which is reflected with the price. The shrimp cocktail and calamari was amazing. The salmon steak was moist.
Always the best, have been going there for over 30 years and never once dissatisfied, one thing I would like to hear from them is that they will not be enforcing the covid communist passport, totally against all that a so called free country should stand for. FIGHT AGAINST THIS INJUSTICE.

Pretty good food. The steak was cooked well and the seafood was amazing. Sides were a little lacklustre but the coconut cream pie made up for it.
La Castile is my go-to for all special occasions. The food is always fantastic and the portions are big. This time we tried their lamb chops and seafood platter. They recently changed their seafood pricing to market price, but the seafood platter for 2 was $250 and there was enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The lamb chops were $62. The Best steak and seafood in the city!

I have found my New Favourite Steak House...!!! This was my first time experiencing La Castille; happened to be there via company function, had a set menu...my Caesar Salad was tasty and light, lettuce was fresh and crispy, though some of the croutons were quite hard, as there could have been more dressing, to soften them some...my 12 oz. New York was incredibly delicious; each medium well done bite exploded with flavour, chewing was optional and it almost dissolved in my mouth...Chocolate Truffle Cake completed the event; tastes as decadent as it looks...though surprisingly light in texture, my tastebuds were well aware they just enjoyed something rich....I cannot offer my opinion on price; as the Boss picked up the tab for almost 30 of us, but I'm sure it was quite reasonable....If it was available; I would give it a SIXTH STAR....!!!
We absolutely love the Ambiance and the Aura..and only bring our very special friends! Last night’s dinner was superb, but the lobster tail was chewy and tough, I got a little disappointed!
Great service and delicious food. My main course was amazing. I was surprised by the generous portion sizes. I enjoyed my leftovers just as much the next day!
Lovely ambiance, gorgeous interior and exterior. First class food, fresh, delicious and very tasty. Elegantly plated looks like artwork. Polite, professional waiters provide great service. Very nice atmosphere and music. Feels like dining in a Castle. Very enjoyable and memorable. In my opinion the best restaurant and crown jewel of Mississauga. One of the bast restaurants l ever dine at. Absolutely gorgeous gem to enjoy Royal treatment. Luxury at its best. L❤️VE it.
La Castile is our go to restaurant for all family occasions (we pretty much go once a month!). The service is great, food is always consistent, and the ambiance is lovely. We often request Billy as our server - he is knowledgeable, professional, and funny! Whether you choose to have the steak or seafood you won’t be disappointed!
We go here for work xmas lunches and I decided to go for my wedding reception lunch. The service was great! We had the tall jovial waiter and he just made us enjoy the afternoon... I think we stayed almost 3 hours haha
A one of a kind atmosphere and great food. The service is very formal and the waiter never lets your glass get empty. This restaurant is on a level of its own.
I love this restaurant. Great quality of food. The meal comes with the best garlic bread on the planet. Your meal used to come with potato and salad. Sadly no more salad. I don't really know why. It was just a little iceberg lettuce salad with a glob of thousand islands dressing. I know it's silly but I loved it and now after all these years they don't give it to you complementary anymore ☹️
Stunning Atmosphere with a beautiful piano lounge. Wonderful food. Amazing High Class Service. I had Oysters, Lobster Dinner and Coconut Creme Pie! With a glass of Amaretto Sour. Delishious!
The best of everything. Food, service with class. In 40 plus years going they never cheaped out on quality.
A classic surf and turf menu with a classy decor. Absolutely brilliant design for those looking for, as the name would suggest, a royal experience fit for queens and kings. Obviously up-scale pricing and great for meat eaters.
This is great restaurant in Toronto ever. Interior is very romantic and gorgeous space also. House wine is soft. The waiters are very humorous and kind too.
This place is timeless. The steaks are incredible. The staff is impeccable. Service is quick. You'd be really hard pressed to find a flaw in their operation. Oh... Bring your stretchy pants. I read thru the other reviews. This isn't a place for lefties who want whitefish and arugula salad and then complain. It's a steak house.
Great atmosphere! Steaks & seafood are top notch! For first timer, I recommend to try the 2 person platter which have a bit of everything.
Fantastic food and service as always! Even during COVID, they take precaution to make you feel safe without it feeling too stifling. Beautiful, large tent for outdoor dining if you prefer to eat outside. Friendly, attentive service. I usually get the French onion soup and steak Neptune - can’t go wrong with combination! This time I had the ribeye steak w/a side of mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious, perfectly grilled medium-rare, it just melted in my mouth with every bite! It’s also a large portion so order if you’re hungry. The ribeye is now my favourite steak at La Castile.

The decor in this restaurant may be a bit old-fashioned but that is what makes it unique to begin with! The environment is lovely and great to take photos in. The oysters were below average but the food was good overall. I wasn’t impressed with my waiter specifically but the buttery scallops made up for that! The rest of the staff seemed friendly though.
This place was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. After dinner we danced the night away at the piano bar.
Great staff and amazing food. Very cool atmosphere. Highly recommend!
The place is charming and the food portion is very generous. The price isn't cheap but if you consider all it is fair. I really enjoyed there.

Food and pricing is great but the server we had was awful. He never even made eye contact with us and seemed very uninterested. We waited 20 minutes after ordering which is long and another server had to apologise to us and let us know that our food will be out shortly. Our server did nothing and made the experience rather bleak! We requested another side of garlic bread and he completely forgot about it. We did not bother asking again
Great service and delicious food! Fish portions were huge. Calamari was one of the best I've had.
I love this place... most delicious lobster tails... garlic bread and pickles always a hit.... love sitting upstairs at one if the stair glass window areas....

Absolutely amazing place! The food is superb and the ambience delectable. The best place to make a special occasion more special. And memorable. The wait staff are attentive but not intrusive. The decor is so incredible, wish I could live here.
I absolutely loved my experience at La Castile! The service was amazing Marina was an excellent waitress. The food was to die for, the steak was cooked to perfection full of flavor and tender, the shrimps were huge and perfectly cooked. Everything about this experience was amazing and I'll definitely recommend and will go back. I chose this restaurant to celebrate my 40th birthday and I am very glad I did!
This is my 4th time to this restaurant. From the decor to the service, this place is phenomenal! The food portion is pretty good as well. I completely forgot to take photos that shows you how excited I was when the food come. I love how there was a live performance during the holiday season making the atmosphere so much more festive and alive! I would definitely go back and oh not to mention their steak is superb.
This restaurant is the perfect place to go for a celebration. The service and food is great, they are $$$$ but is worth every penny. the Servers pull your chairs out for you and place your napkin on your lap. They also bring a platter of feta cheese, olives, and pickles to your table before your order your food. Great place to go!
The restaurant is nice, but is overpriced and terrible service. We was there for my wife birthday, they don’t even say happy birthday ???? For sure never come back and not recommend
A great place to celebrate special occasions in, great atmosphere, best steaks, friendly servers. You can’t go wrong with this place. I highly recommend it

Enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration with great friends. The food, service, and ambiance were all perfect.
Atmosphere: it has such an amazing atmosphere, from the room style to the table choice to the furnishings. It all fits together to create an atmosphere so astounding it's hard to describe with words. Staff: the waiters we had seemed to have some hearing issues, however that is to be expected with most of them being older. However they were attentive and refilled drinks frequently and treated us with respect while not barging in on us too often. Price: Very high-end price wise. However, what I got was worth the cost. Food: I went with the Steak and Lobster (picture 2) and had a piña colada. My mother had the lobster bisque and shared the La Castile platter for two (picture 1) with my grandmother. My sister had the pasta of the day and shrimp tempura (picture 3). My dad had the escargot and something else, and my grandpa got stuff too. On top of that, salads came with most. You'd think with all those dishes they'd drop the ball at least once but nope, everyone loved their meals. Not a single complaint. Overall: Very pricey place but you'll get what you pay for. I sadly can not comment on the piano as I was not in that room but instead in a much more private seeming area with a personal fireplace and our own room. I enjoyed my time here and while I would not go here daily due to the price, I would love to go here again some time in the future, and I would put it at the top of my recommendations if you are looking for a high end dinner. P.S: If you are thinking of going here, do all the other patrons a favour and leave anyone under the age of 10 at home. They won't be able to appreciate the food anyways and will probably just run around, and nobody wants to hear a baby screaming on their fancy night out that might just be a break from their whiny children.
It was a family celebration for our 44th year wedding anniversary, We love the atmosphere and the setting of the restaurant. But we were so disappointed with the services and the food. We had to wait a long time to be served. the dishes were never clear out and it was mounted on the table. The rib steak was good and tasty but the chicken and fishes were dry and tasted bad. The worst thing I had very bad diarrhea after eating the catch of the day-halibut. Hope the restaurant can be improved with proper wait staff training and not under staffs. The kitchen staffs should be more careful with the handling of fish and chicken, a better receipt also required.
Beautiful venue. Great service and experience.
Service
This has always been my favourite restaurant. Just had another fabulous meal there again last night. The rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. The ambiance and service are always A+. Great place if you want to impress a client or a date.
Dying there last night it was my son's birthday. The staff were not friendly at all. There was a hair in my food. There was a crab shell which I almost choked on. And in the end we told them it was a birthday and they replied we don't give free birthday cake you have to pay for it. We spent over $500 and they wouldn't acknowledge a birthday without paying for a dessert? Will never go there again
Tasty steak but the server never did table check

Great experience. Excellent food. Nicholas was our server and was amazing.
If you are looking for a restaurant which has very interesting Decor that reminds you of a very old church, then this is your place. It's one of the most famous steakhouses in Mississauga, however it is not that great in terms of overall quality of meat. The steak is the equivalent of The Keg, the ribs were tough, the appetizers were a little bit strange as they would give you cottage cheese, pickles and something else. Location is fantastic and is really nicely done, however the food is not excellent. The waiters were fantastic.

Very Elgant and beautiful restaurant. Best steak and shrimp, very delicious and tasty. Staff are very professional. Highly recommended.

My to-go place for special occasions. Incredible service and absolutely delicious Neptune dish. The space is lovely and especially during COVID, the staff took all the needed precautions to make our dining experiences just lovely.
Old school look and feel. The chandeliers alone will blow you away. The lobster bisque is out of this world. The rib eye steak cooked perfectly, definitely a high quality and the coconut cream pie is amazing. Large portions so come hungry. The entire experience was great.
Service
Such a classy spot and one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever seen. A wonderful performer plays at the piano all night and you can sit around him and listen. The server Nancy near the piano. The prime rib is unreal!!!
I really don’t post reviews to often, but this had to have been the worst experience with a restaurant in my life. As a native Canadian (indigenous) I’ve never felt racism to often in my life even with my darker complexion. “The” waiter literally reached across the the table nearly hitting my wife in the face as he tossed our food instead of politely walking around to both my son and I as most waiters do. By the way, the reason I said “the” waiter, at no point during our meal did he even offer up his name. In fact he only offered up four or five words for the duration of our time spent there. I did notice he attended to other customers with Manners and even spoke to them, not the case at our table. Maybe our complexion was a factor, I don’t know but we seemed to be the only outcasts he tended to. It’s unfortunate as the food was amazing, but when you’re treated poorly the food loses it’s lustre. I still tipped him fifty dollars as I could not bring myself to his level. I would still return to this restaurant, they do make an amazing steak but next time I’ll be a little mindful of my server.
Had a great dinner here with family. You are served garlic bread and sides such as pickles, cottage cheese and olives. The steaks we ordered were cooked what we had requested. Service was attentive and good. Atmosphere was nice and castle like. I would describe it as high end and would recommend it for a special celebration such as birthdays or anniversaries. There is also a bar area with musical guests.
Great atmosphere with excellent food. Was a bit disappointed with the service as they didnt get my order correct.

Wonderful covered patio. Service and food were exceptional!
La Castile has maintained its excellence in charm, food and service. I cannot fault this restaurant on anything. The first visit I made was in the 70s and it is still such a treat to dine there.

Appetizers were really good so I was so excited for main dish but main dish was pretty bad (that's why I had only Appetizers photos,,,) fish (it was trout) was really dry and pasta had no taste,,,, scallops were good but rice was too salty. Mood was great and luxury but food does not have same quality of place.
This place is supposed to be a fine dining, but delivers only in price. The meat for the steaks is far from the quality the prices promise. The taste is bland. You can get much much better quality steaks in a sports bar. The service is very incompetent. When asking what we are going to drink, the waiter didn't even produce a wine/drinks menu. You are supposed to order without looking at the wine list. After I asked for one, he finally gave it to me and towered above me until I ordered. No "I will give you a minute", just order and do it quickly. Another waiter, who came to take our order, did not answer our questions about the menu options and the steaks, he was visibly in a hurry to get the order down and be done with it. But the most (do I want to say "offensive"?) part was the side salad. Food court side salad is a piece of culinary art compared to this fine dining restaurant side salad. It was nothing more than a plate of wilted lettuce. No seasoning, no veggie, nothing. The picture is attached. For the prices you pay this salad is a slap in the face. And as for the piano - it is in a small separate room, so no piano for you during this horrific experience of a "fine dining". Well, long story short - WHAT A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. For this price, we could have gone to a real steak house with quality steaks and actually enjoy the dining experience.
I get the Steak Neptune everytime. This place is THE BEST. I feel like I'm in the opening scene of the movie Goodfellas when I'm here. Our waiter tonight looked like Jimmy two times. Like I said, best place ever.
What was a special occasion 40th birthday celebration, didn’t end well. The four of us ordered the seafood platter, calamari, and the oysters Rockefeller. Myself and my friend were both sick that night. I’ve been a chef for 22 years, La Castile needs to pay closer attention to the quality of seafood, rotation, and expiry dates. Not a pleasant experience, when paying good money for seafood.

One of the best restaurants and steakhouse I have been too. The view was amazing, the service extordinary and the food was out of this world. I took the platter for two which easily can be eaten by three. Steak was juicy and tender, the scallops cooked to perfection. The crab legs soft and moist, the lobster oh so very tasty. Would definitely come back here all the time if I could.
Amazing steakhouse! I had my wedding here and everything went great. The restaurant itself looks like an actual castle with torches outside and a medival look with huge chandeliers on the inside. The staff was very accommodating, they allowed us to bring the wedding cake the day before and seated us in a more secluded area so we had a corner to ourselves. We had 3 or 4 servers attending to us all all times. The kitchen worked very quick as well, I don't think anyone in our party waiting for for than 15 minutes for their orders. Food itself was delicious and came in very generous servings. I had the salmon with a baked potato and I couldn't finish the meal. The bill was pricey but it is definitely worth it. It's a perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or any other big event.
I've been here 2x in 3 weeks.. the steak is cooked to perfection. The fish dishes are absolutely amazing. Highly recommended you try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed
A step back to a simpler time when tradition, elegant atmosphere, exceptional service and cuisine was better appreciated. I've had the pleasure of dining here for over a half century and I am so very grateful that little has changed in that time
If I could rate it a zero I would. Took my father and mother for father's day. First time ever going. There were 4 of us in total and all 4 steaks were wrong. I get that mistakes happen, but when the server disputes it and give me major attitude I have a problem. I couldn't believe the service. Nothing was comp'd. No sorry nothing. However the tempura shrimp were good. Would not recommend at all. Especially for the price.
La Castile is the best dining experience I've ever had. Wonderful service and amazing quality food.
Steak was amazing. The lobster was a little rubbery. Otherwise service was great!
A++ Good social distancing, decorated for Christmas, quite busy, no online reservation and paper copies of the menu (maitre de should sanitize regular menu folders after every use). The food was incredible, platter for two, no apps and no dessert, we had leftovers for the next day. Seafood was fresh, lobsters had melted butter to dip at the table. The service was impeccable (4 servers) nothing short of one water plus garlic bread server, another server to take our order, one server to process the bill + tip, another one to check in on our dining experience. A little pushy on the wine & mixed drinks but we get it, you've had a slow year and you need to make back the $1-2 million in annual sales. If you're expecting a birthday item, don't count on it, the table next to us was persistent on it, hope you enjoyed your complimentary baked potato instead! The price is expected for the stained glass & decor, reputation and fresh seafood plus the overstaffed model used for the last several decades. Make no mistake, they use Greek to communicate amongst the long haul servers, no harm, no foul, some of us are familiar with a Malaka among other terminology. We'll be back for another special occasion or to visit their piano bar area off to the left side of the coat check. One lasting impression was the seasonal wood fireplace, at least 4 feet high and possibly near the best table in the house.

One of my favourite places to dine in before covid. I am so looking forward for this place open up for dinning again!
Went there for valentine's day weekend. Walking in I was very impressed with the visuals of this restaurant. Once I got seated I asked for a drink menu and the older man serving said they only have wine menu, and was very rude short answers to me and didn't really want to talk to us. Then I see someone sitting across from me get 2 bloody ceasars it looked like. Right away I was extremely disappointed. The food had great presentation and was equally as tasty but very expensive for what you get. 250 for 2 dinners. It was a good experience but I wont be returning to this place.
Absolutely incredible atmosphere. The building simply wows with wood and trim that is a feast for the eyes. Speaking of feast the food was great. The platter for 2 was a nice. Size and a good sampling. The crab was huge and succulent, the scallop was nicely finished. Steak was cooked as requested and was also good. The shrimp might as well have been a lobster! BUT the lobster was a let down. Tough and chewy on this occasion. Overall lovely, lots of attention from MULTIPLE servers which was nice. But this is what you're paying for. A treat to say the least. Next time out I'd try the crab ???? or steak on its own not the platter.
Beautiful decor, amazing food. Lobster bisque is to die for! One of the best, premium steak houses around GTA.
Bow ties and white glove service make this place stand out above the rest. Truly a great dining experience with large cathedral ceilings and massive chandeliers. Then there's the exceptional amuse boucle followed by meals that are fresh, well prepared and comforting to the soul. A place worthy of a special celebration or dining with close friends.
If you haven't eaten at this place yet...you should! Talk about fine dining! The architecture and decor of this place must be seen. For my starter I had the buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad...the presentation was superb and the cheese was even better! For my main I had the veal parmesan...it was cooked to perfection. The service was 5 star all the way...they really take care of you. My one gripe would be that their bloody ceasar glasses are too small. I WILL be back.
Pretty good place, nice decor, main menu is good, but desserts could be more interesting.
Very classic decor and known for steak and seafood. Service is good.
Food was good. Service was at about 80% but probably understandable because they were very busy. Having said that, if you're going to have a full restaurant, make sure you have enough staff.
The last time I was here was about 2-3 years ago and it was different compared to today. Today I came back for my mom’s birthday dinner - table for 15 people! All the apps we ordered were 3 of each. Everyone had their own steak or the kids shared the pasta! Service was a complete mess: Very slow, I get that we’re a bigger table but that also mean you should be paying more attention. All I have to say is that the apps were okay, nothing special which was truly disappointing. The mains were also okay, nothing special again. Would I come back ? No.
Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here last night. The decor is beautiful and the food was fantastic. There were 3 people that served our table. The service itself was ok - water was always filled and everyone was polite. However, the service lacked SOUL/PERSONAL TOUCH. For just two people, we spent $521 (we tipped 20%) and while the dessert wasn't free, at the very least they can at least wish him a happy birthday. This is the first restaurant that we have ever been to where it didn't feel like a birthday at all. I just couldn't believe that 3 people served us and not a single one could say "happy birthday"... a simple gesture.
By Far, The Best Steak that I ever had. Understand why you Guys arr in business since long time. Service also, Wow!!!
We ordered three main plates for a special birthday-- two Tournedoes Rossini and one Sole Almondine. We CANNOT speak too highly of the quality of the food. When we lived in the GTA it was the "Special" restaurant we went to . So glad to know that has not changed
