It was a sports bar high end restaurant hybrid. I went with my work colleagues and the restaurant was loud for our liking. There is actually no vegetarian items on the menu except 2 salads. I had to order the pasta without chicken which was alright.

We loved this place. Great Italian food, but good value, the portions are very large. Excellent service, tasty entrees, nice variety of sides (especially loved the tuna tartare). Gabriels is elegant, and the artwork and decor added a nice touch. Its coziness made me very comfortable while the staff couldn’t have been any better! This one goes on the regular rotation and my best meal in Mississauga!

Great little spot in Streetsville that accomdates vegan options ???????????? There are pool tables available for post- dining fun, without impacting the dining experience. You can sit in the dining area, or bar area ( where the pool tables are) or indulge the simple little sanctuary of the patio. I've hosted a few events and birthdays here too, the staff is amazing and it's always clean.????

Gabriel's is my absolute favorite restaurant. I've never had a bad meal there. The staff is fantastic and so friendly. It's a place where you can go shoot a game of pool, watch the game on several TV's or have a fantastic meal. I came here because it was rated well on Google and I was in the area. The high rating is real. I had great beer, tried a few before I settled on a winner. The best part was the food. The portions are enormous and fairly priced - coming out streaming from the kitchen. Their dessert is amazing - try the tiramisu mousse.

Being a student, I only get to treat myself once in awhile and I always choose Gabriels. With pleasent staff a wide selection of meals I am never disappointed. The portions are great, I'm a good eater and even I take home leftovers. This is the perfect place to bring friends, family and the perfect date spot. With pool tables up front and a wide selection of alcohol it's impossible to be bored at this restaurant. The food is amazing and it is worth every dollar. I recommend the app gnocchi as well as the chicken supreme. Those are my favourites by far. I also recommend the tenderloin, it is hard to find a great place with good quality beef, that serves a hardy amount of veggies. Overall Gabriels is always an amazing experience.

Attended a retirement party here for a coworker and we were all very impressed with the establishment. The food was absolutely delicious and of high quality. Everything was fresh and they used great combinations of ingredients. We would highly recommend the food! Also, the servers were very attentive and accomodating to eveyone's dietary needs. Overall, the service was great, all staff were very friendly and the food was deeeelish!????

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved everything about Gabriel's. Great food, their signature seafood pasta is to die for, with such beautiful presentation! And they can customize your dish exactly to your liking which is nice. My boyfriend loves the veal. The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming and professional. They have so many great choices on their menu and our waitress always has great recommendations when we can't decide. I love having a nice place to play billiards after a great meal. Recommended to all my friends and family, hope to host my boyfriends birthday here because they're great for private parties! Can't wait till my next Gabriel's fix!

Lovely atmosphere, and attentive wait staff. The menu is as expected from an Italian cuisine restaurant, and my go to favorite Gabriel's Pasta is unbelievably rich and bold with flavor. Not your average gastropub! We went in on a Tuesday for lunch; wasn't too busy and got a table fast. Your typical gastropub style food, but definitely very tasty. You can tell they care about not your cookie-cutter type restaurant with their little twists on classic dishes and it pays off. I'm not from around here but if I happen to pass through again I wouldn't mind going back again.

Well, where to begin. The only thing good about the place was the service. Props to them. The place is dark as hell. If they are trying to do the whole romantic lighting, it's off. It's more of a "someone doesn't know how to use a dimmer" mood. Ordered the calamari, I could bounce it off the floor it was so rubbery. The steak was of high quality but you hardly could tell since it tasted of nothing but ash. (Clean your grill) and the tomato sauce was either from a can or had so much sugar in it I got a sugar high like a kid after Halloween. I get that this place has been around for a long time, but I believe the chef needs to step back and re-evaluate.

Food is excellent with a nice variety. Staff are friendly, attentive and welcoming. Strangely, there is never much of a crowd when we visit, although we usually go for dinner early on a Tuesday night so that could explain it. The place is very popular for large group parties. There are pool tables and bar out front and a very pleasant dining area behind that. In summer, you can try the outdoor patio. One of our favourite places to eat.

Tip top pool tables if that's your thing, impeccable and first class. Almost a upscale billiards place that way. Great patio, cold beer, truly delicious food (while it has some standard pub fare their menu is actually very sophisticated and diverse, a great place simply to get food if that's what you're interested in). Big portions but most importantly, quality ingredients. Throw a dart at the menu, you'll hit something savoury to eat. Great lunch and dinner PLUS work/birthday events or occasions etc. Excellent ambiance and a lot of fun, good energy here. Finally, they have enough high quality TVs to enjoy "the game". We had an amazing first impression and have been back several times since. Great food, great service. That being said, this isn't a place you come in a rush. Especially with a large group. Our whole experience was probably 3 hours from start to finish. There's no rushing at all here. If you're expecting to be in and out in 45-60min perhaps this isn't the best place for you.

The service here was okay. The waitresses we're friendly and tried to make sure orders for people who had to leave early got their food first. The food unfortunately was very bland and uninspired. Pasta dishes were huge, covered in cheese and not very flavourful. Could be good for large groups were people don't want to be too daring in their food choices.

The chef takes great care and attention to detail. Each dish is a labour of love. I've been coming here for years and they make me feel at home every time. On my last visit I had the raspberry, goat cheese and pecan spinach salad, which is one of my favourite things on the menu, and the beef skewers, which were seared and rare as per my request, super succulent and delicious, served with a grainy mustard peppercorn sauce that was heavy on pepper and just totally awesome. I used the complimentary bread to soak up every bit of that sauce. My main was the prosciutto wrapped halibut. A poached egg on top added a richness to compliment a tangy sauce and the saltiness of the prosciutto, but never overpowered the delicate flavour of the fish. It was served with roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts, asparagus, broccoli, and red pepper. The decor is recently updated and they offer an impressive wine selection and many draught beer options.

Each time I have been there it has been a set menu... which was delish... we had a reservation for a large group and due to another reservation taken one table from our group was moved to another room this was unfortunate as the dinner was so everyone could bond and the same thing happened the week previous so it was disappointing... we survived it...

I love love love Gabriel's! Everytime I go, I am so pleased with the food, service and atmosphere. The staff is always so incredibly friendly. Everything I have ordered off the menu has been OUTRAGEOUS,!! there's just no other word to describe it. I just left and I can't wait to go back!

We first went here in August on a business trip and every business trip since we have always made sure to go here. Trip number 5 and 6 are coming up this month and I cannot wait to go back. The portions are more than enough and everything we've had has been good. For apps, I recommend their crab cakes, beef carpaccio, and tuna tartare. Their caesar salad is excellent. My favorite entree thus far has been the halibut. The wine is also very reasonably priced. Then when you finished dinner you can play a couple of games of pool.

Mississauga's best hidden gem. Celebrated my mothers birthday here last friday night. Had a large group of 15 for dinner and everything went very well. Servers knew what they were doing and took very good care of us. I was surprised when every steak came out cooked the right way (thumbs up to the chefs). I was also surprised at the selection of fish available. I can not wait until my next visit.

One great eatery in Mississauga. My husband and I have been loyal eaters at Gabriel's for years and have held a few family functions in their inviting bar area. Been here many times because it’s very close to my office. It’s our company go to for wining and dining customers or for any company outing really. We also have our annual company Christmas party here. Gabriels is always very accommodating - going above and beyond to make sure we’re satisfied! They have five pool tables, which are fantastic for a company pool tournament! Food is fresh and delicious. Their lunch menu is very reasonably priced! They have a nice spacious patio, but the view isn’t that great given their location. Staff is always friendly and on the ball. I recommend!

I just celebrated my 70th birthday here at Gabriel’s. 16adults 3children. It was a fabulous dining event. Spacious room, great service. Being italian I always worry about quality and quantity. Kudos to the chef and all staff in making my day a very special one. Appetizers and mains were fresh and succulent. Amazing staff only topped by the cuisine! Staff was very attentive and even played with my daughter anytime they were passing by the table, always making her laugh. I instantly knew how much care was put into the preparation and presentation of each dish that we ordered. Tracy was an amazing server offering just the right amount of attention and kind enough to give an honest opinion on which dish to choose. She even kept up as we moved over to play pool and her service was impeccable. Hands down one of the best meals and service I have had at an establishment in the past year if not more!! I also had the pleasure of thanking Bill for his amazing abilities in the kitchen, and was honored to be able to shake his hand and thank him for making my Birthday night just perfect. I would recommend Gabriel's to anyone, young or old just looking for a well made home cooked meal and proper, attentive service for an industry saturated with 'Who cares'. Went for dinner with my husband a while ago and he ordered the fish special with pasta. It sounded wonderful - but when it came to our table it was basically steamed fish with no flavour with pasta with a bunch of water in the bowl. My husband complained and told the female owner that it was tasteless and did not look appetizing at all. She seemed quite angry that we dare complain. We paid the bill and left un happy. Fast forward to last night. My husband, daughter and I thought we would give it another chance. My daughter ordered a steak and a ceaser salad. She was a quarter of a way through her salad when she saw a hair stuck to the bottom of her plate - yuck. We called the female owner over - she once again got an attitude about our complaint. My daughter and husband wanted filet mignon - they both ended up ordering a beef tenderloin meal ($45). The meal was to come with mashed potatoes and vegetables. They ordered medium rare. When the meals came out - there was a ton of bok choy, zucchini, and brocolli. They were only interested in the mashed potatoes and broccoli. They started eating - my daughter couldn't even cut through the meat (which had no spice) and the mashed potatoes were tasteless. My husband made a complaint again that the food was not good at all. We spent $170 on a dinner that was awful - but lucky for us she took the salad with the hair off of our bill. We will never eat here again and would never recommend this place to anyone. Part of owning a restaurant should be occasionally tasting the food that goes out to the customers - and being able to take some criticism when things aren't right and trying to improve them. Instead of getting mad at the customers - maybe she should get mad at the chef who is the husband of the woman who served us.

Fine dining that is not so fine. A normal restaurant charging fine dining prices. Interior is a dated, looks like a dark pool hall instead of a fine dining restaurant. Patio furniture is very basic, plastic, cheap. Food was pretty good but portions were small. Beef apetizer comes with 3 bites of beef for $30+. For $30 you can go next door to the sushi place and have all you can eat tender beef bites. In my opinion nothing justifies the price.

Thank you so much to Bill and Tracy for hosting our wedding. Gabriels is a hidden treasure, the beautiful brick work and spacious patio are wonderful. The wine racks are gorgeous. Bill and Tracy were super accommodating and were incredibly quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I never felt like they didn't listen to me or felt like they dismissed me. Instead they helped us every step of the way and came in early for us and opened up their doors for us on their days off♡ Bill is incredibly passionate about food and it shows in his delicious dishes. Tracy, Bill and his sous chef Sean did an outstanding job. The food was delicious and they were so creative in thinking of COVID friendly ways to serve our guests. The food portion sizes were generous, the meats were cooked to perfection, the pastas were incredible and the shrimp pallea was outstanding. As were our appetizers. Thank you so much again Bill and Tracy, we will definitely be coming to visit you guys again ♡

Went for company Christmas party group of 25..had Ceasar salad that was delicious and large serving ..penne alla vodka was disappointing lacking real flavour ..steaks some were cooked as ordered others were cooked incorrectly ..lengthy time to get replacement meal and then wasn't correct again ! No fresh fruit as a dessert option ..used to be much better 2 years ago not sure what changed

Ordered the trout and steak. Sub par food for the price! The ambience and service are great but I wish they put in more effort in their food. The helpings are massive which is certainly not required, the mushroom sauce a half hearted attempt and the fish though tasted all right just looked un appetizing the way it was served. My advice. Took 15 minutes until we got bread. Waiter took 2 table orders that sat down after us, even though we kept waving him down to take our orders. Also, was there for over an hour and people never got one refill of Water or soda. Don't go for lunch if you don't have time to waste.

Note: they charge for refills on fountain pop. Server didn't say anything when offering refills. Would have been nice to know. Also $8 for a 500ml San Pelligrino. They call it a large. Most places give a 1L bottle for the $8 price. Seems overpriced. Service was slow. Restaurant wasn't even that busy. Kids menu is overpriced. $12 for a kids meal is a joke. Food is tasty but with the other issues this is a somewhere I'm not returning.
