We've got all the reviews of real people like you who are using the products of Chelsea (Restaurant) in the territory of Mississauga (Canada).
Nowadays the firm receives a score of 4.7 stars out of 5 and this rating has been calculated on 99 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is practically the best, and it's based on a very high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the score is quite reliable. If people have bothered to give their review when they've done well with the business, is that it works.
You know that we don't usually stop to put feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

Decent food, good portions and lovely staff
Prix Fix meal for $35 that includes salad or soup, entree and dessert. Very delicious. Pretty presentation. The house is small but lovely. Ventilation is not very strong, so cooking smells strong in the dining space. But I did not mind. Family owned and operated, I definitely recommend this small and cozy place.
Recommend. Really enjoyed the butternut squash soup & the service was great.
Lovely small place and tasty food.
Wonderful service and a cozy environment with great food
This place was amazing. My wife and I were spending a few nights in a hotel down the street and came across this very quaint place on google maps. The food was amazing at an amazing price! The owner is very respectful and funny. He welcomed us in there like we were friends visiting. I had the 3 course lamb, and my wife had the 3 course chicken parmesan. One of the best chicken parmesans we have ever had. The desert was a creme brule and a chocolate cake. Those were also divine!! I highly recommend this place for a nice romantic night away from the kids, or a first date.
Comfortable & quiet. Well prepared and presented meals. In Naval lingo "V.G. Sup."
Someone recommended my husband and I to come here, and it was worth the little trip for us! We dined with our two kids and all of us loved the food. The couple that owns and operats this restaurant are super sweet. We love to support a local spot. The food was very good (you can taste the love!). It was a relaxing dinner, quality service. I would definitely go back and definitely recommend this place. It's quite charming.
Very quaint restaurant in a century home in Port Credit. The food is very good and server is pleasant. A nice place to have a quiet meal.
Small old building with character. Only a half dozen tables, husband is the waiter, wife is the cook. Open very selective hours, and not late. Call ahead. The patrons are mostly an older crowd, but that says something, seniors dont put up with mediocore food. When is the last time you saw a chain resturant full of seniors? Limited choices on the menu. Not a cheap resturant but also not overly expensive, especially when you consider the quality of the food. This is my special occasion resturant. Every dish they serve is very good. Ingredients, preperation, presentation, texture, flavors, etc. For me, this is very high praise. This is my favorite in Ontario.
Very quaint place. Food was delicious.
Always delicious food here. And the atmosphere is homey and relaxed.
Great food, amazing service and the owners are great people who genuinely care about the customers and the quality of the food the serve!
This Port Credit gem is one of the least known but one of the best restaurants in the city. The food is excellent, the owner / host super friendly and the atmosphere very laid back in a historical building. We always look forward to visiting.
First time there. Cute little place, but the food was only OK. I won't rush back.
What a great place to come and eat!! Very quaint, with a lovely homey atmosphere. The service was Impeccable and the food is FANTASTIC. I had the Butternut Squash Soup to start and Vegetarian Curry for my entree I had the Blueberry Cheesecake for dessert, it was absolute perfection, we had plenty of time to chat throughout our meal. Allan the proprietor served us throughout our visit, what an awesome character!! We will continue to return to this hidden Gem. If you want great food and very friendly service please come to Chelsea House, you will not be dissatisfied!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️➕
Lovely place hidden in Mississauga. Perfect for a romantic dinner date with your partner. The interior is nice and intimate in both sizing and setup, and atmosphere. While I wanted to try the prime rib it was not available that evening so we got the rack of lamb special instead, and boy was it a great treat. I haven’t had lamb too often but this definitely took the crown and set the standard in lamb dishes. Meat was nicely cooked and well seasoned. Literally no complaints from me (well maybe larger portions would be nice but I am a glutton so YMMV). The service was also top notch making us feel like we’re at home. Definitely coming back here again soon.
So cute ! Great service. Nice place for lunch. I love what the owner has done with the place. Great spot in town definetly coming back!
Nice homey vibe. Takes slightly longer due to there only being a handful of staff. However the staff members are great. Very nice and polite people. Would recommend at least once.
Food always on point!
The shepherd's pie was amazing - crispy on the outside and fluffy like a cloud inside. Vegetables were cooked just right. And their bumbleberry pie is to die for. Would highly recommend.
Great butternut squash soup!
Historical and nice place, the cook is excellent. Waiter is so polite and friendly . I love so much this Restaurant "Chelsea". But now is temporarily closed for Covid19. I am unhappy and sad.
This is a very cozy place for an intimate dinner. Set in a repurposed home, the space is very quaint. Expect great food with a friendly family feel to it. I don't recommend you take the kids. Meal service is not fast, but this is part of the experience.
Awesome little Mom&Pop opp great food good price... you know how much I love non-franchise establishments, thats cuz they care.????
Very cosy home-style restaurant with very friendly staff. The menu is simple, but the choices suffice to serve all. The daily sandwich was a tuna salad sandwich with garden salad. The tuna salad was very well balanced: not to oily, nice tuna flavor with a nice acidic touch, the bread was good, and the lemon-honey dressing for the garden salad was delicious. Even their fresh brewed coffee was good: a strong roast flavor and not watered down as you sometimes have in e.g. a diner. If I lived in Toronto, I would spend my occasional Sunday afternoon in spring to drive out to Chelsea restaurant to have lunch.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Port credit. The experience is like none other and the service is impeccable. I love the 3 course meal . We will see you soon .
Great food!!
The food at Chelsea is always excellent. The owners genuinely care about their customers & the quality/service that is extended to them. Not rushed & always perfectly excuted. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates superior cuisine!
Great little restaurant we encountered while driving to the Niagara Falls from Toronto. Meals were simple but oh so good! I would definitely recommend making a little detour to eat here. We were there for lunch but their dinner menu for that night looked amazing as well.
Great place to eat with family. Friendly staff.
Like advertised, great comfort food at a good price. I come back over and over again for the good food and great service.
Great restaurant. Reasonable prices, never too busy, and good background music.
Great food
Friendly service, cozy atmosphere and food was delicious!! Definitely going back!
Went here after reading the rave reviews. Much to our surprise, the hype definitely didn't seem worth it. The food was okay, even with the moderately priced menu, but it was nothing special. We were warned by staff that it's a slow lunch, but even with that, service felt awfully slow (though the service staff were incredibly kind and helpful). It took 20 minutes just to get two cups of coffee alone! We had the Philly steak sandwich and the quiche Lorraine, and the steam sandwich was easily the better decision. Overall, a decent experience, but I wouldn't go out of my way to experience it. As well, come when you're more inclined to enjoy a leisurely lunch (cannot stress this enough), as you will definitely feel your hunger intensify tenfold while you wait.
A quaint little restaurant with a nice atmosphere and good food. Prices are about as expected. I really enjoyed the rack of lamb and the soup and would recommend those. The bumbleberry pie was fine as well. There was an issue with one of my mains but it was handled. The location is small, but decorated in a welcoming manor and very well maintained.
We had family dinner at the place last month. Nicely decorated dining room, cozy and comfortable. We ordered prime ribs and Salmon, good portion and delicious. A bit pricey but worthwhile. Manager/owner served us very well.
What a gem! I was pleasantly surprised by the food, it was cooked to perfection and really fresh. Quiet and lovely decor, would definitely come back
My husband and I went to the Chelsea during our honeymoon this past August. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere. It was a pleasure to learn the history of the building and restaurant from the owner. We will be returning next visit to Ontario.
One of the most beautiful restaurants in Mississauga! Descent foods ( I ordered stuffed sole and it was amazing), lovely atmosphere, extremely friendly services(You are the best, Allen!),..I just can't wait to come back!
Wonderful food, friendly service in a quaint old house. Hidden gem in Port Credit.
Great restaurant. Private room for small functions. Excellent food & Alan and his wife are extremely hospitable. We celebrated my sister Jen's birthday last night - had an amazing evening! Cheers!
Great anniversary dinner
Limited choices but it's a very small restaurant. Good service and great food.
This place was very lovely, the food was great and the staff was super friendly.
Cute small family restaurant in a great location. Food and service was superb. Came for lunch with 3 other guests and everyone was happy with their meal. Will come back for dinner!
This is a very cozy place for an intimate dinner
Very good
Good food. Reasonable priced. $35 for a 3 course meals include soup, main dish and desert. My whole family enjoyed the dinner. My wife and daughter prefer gluten free food, they can custom made to suit their needs. Not so many choices for the wine. It is better for you to bring your own. Cork fee is reasonable too. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone enjoy food. But you need to excuse the look outside.
It's a nice place to eat a hearty breakfast in no rush.
A small family restaurant running by a Korean couple everyday have six or seven main entree to choose from. Our company was seated at 6.30pm and the lamb shank were gone we can only choose the stuff sole and steak mushrooms pie. Both dishes are good 35 to 37 dollars for a three course set dinner including salad and dessert. I must confess it is worth over we pay for it. It's a small restaurant with above eight table and twenty plus seats I recommend have to make reservations in advance.
We ordered takeout. Everything was packed so carefully and the food was nice and hot. The lamb was probably one of the best I've had. Will definitely be back again.
Excellent food, comfortable atmosphere, lovely owners.
Excellent Food and Hosts. Mine and my husband's Favourite Restaurant.
Love the food here!!
True little family run gem in Mississauga. Despite the old fashioned décor and being a small house, it gives warm family vibe and the food was amazing. The only nitpicking thing is the food arrived kinda slow but I give it a pass because it came out perfectly executed. Even the grilled zucchini on the side was charred perfectly. My wife's veggie curry was probably the best vegetarian dish I ever had for a long time! My own lamb leg came out just cooked right, not overcooked like many other places. My wife liked the mash potato a lot too. Then came the chocolate cake that completed the meal with a high note. It's rich and flavourful but yet somehow still very light and fluffy. The service was good. With this price point, I think 5 star is well deserved.
Allen the owner, was fantastic. He even supplied a Bose Bluetooth speaker to enhance our dining experience with a little light jazz. We enjoyed the best carrot/ginger soup we have ever tasted followed by a light and flaky crusted seafood quiche stuffed with scallops, shrimp and crab meat. Topped off with local blueberry pie a la mode.
Great place for a quiet lunch. Quiche is fantastic and pleasant service in a quaint environment. Good place to have a couple or small to medium group.
Lovely food ! Awesome service , cute little cozy home like place that made our evening ! Pasta I had was amazing :) , freshly home cooked food ... I would definitely want to go here again :))))
Very kind and helpful staff. Good food.
Amazing soups
The Chelsea is situated in a heritage home in Port Credit. I usually go there for an enjoyable quiet lunch or dinner with friends. Alan and his wife provide excellent choice of menu and I have never been disappointed. Alan has a wonderful dry sense of humor that adds a personal touch.
This is a quaint small restaurant with a limited menu and wine list, but very good food. It is nice to support a family business.
My husband and I went for dinner for our anniversary. Very cozy and cute restaurant, just what we had in mind. Food was very good, no complaints. Well maybe one small comment, the bread would have been nice if it was warm, it was just cold. Other comment is the service was very friendly and pleasant, but even though we don’t like to be rushed at a restaurant and its nice to be able to relax and sit and chat, I found it took a little too long for the food to be served. Other than those two comments, it was a nice experience and I would definitely go back. Overall I recommend this restaurant.
Great food. Very quaint, quiet ambiance and friendly service. They offer corkage so you can bring your own wine that aligns with your taste and price category. Highly recommended!
Excellent food & excellent service. Wish I lived closer I would dine here more often.
