Always amazing. Such a nice place where you actually taste the flavour in your food. One of my favourite spots. The tiramusu is the best!

My meal was delicious, I will not be back. I 0rdered a pasta dish. I have never had pasta with out fresh bread. I asked for bread with my lunch. I received 2 pieces of lightly toasted. I figured it wasn't fresh and that was why it was toasted. Much to my surrise I was charged for a piece of bread. After spending 40.00 on lunch I felt ripped off for a slice of bread. I don't often spend 40.00 and not been happy. Shame on you for not serving bread with my pasta meal. Unhappy customer

They always go above and beyond! Got the pleasure of sitting on their patio the first day it opened and was so impressed they handled everything with such ease and grace especially after being closed for several months !!

Demi

Overpriced, under executed dishes. Everything felt like it was missing the finesse of a nice restaurant. Not bad, just below average and a little rough around the edges in terms of taste.

V T

Great Italian place in Mississauga south. Pasta dishes were fresh and flavourful. Lamb chops had good cuts and generous portions.

Marta Horna

New restaurant. Attention to the customer visibly a priority. Prices reasonable. Please serve a more abundant ravioli malfatti, the plate I had felt like an appetizer. The farinata was stupendous.

natalie hart

Really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! I'm a big fan of Chef Massimo Capra. It was so cool to see him working hard in his restaurant.

Bernard Chan

Restaurant was uniquely decorated. The food was very insta-worthy. I tasted a few items on their brunch menu and it didn’t taste as good as I expected, although the home fries were really good. Next time I would probably try their lunch/dinner menu instead.

Jody Anne

Spectacular meal. Exceptional service. Best in Mississauga!

Aaron Wouters

Great food. Great ambiance. Friendly staff.

Really yummy! We enjoyed everything here - drinks, bruschetta, brunch, dessert. The risotto was awesome, I highly recommend it. Our server was also excellent. Thanks for a great meal! The place was very busy at 11am on a Sunday morning. Reservations are recommended.

Excellent Food and Service!

Delicious Italian style food. Very prompt and friendly service. Modern and chic interior with a nice ambience and music. Good location off Lakeshore Road. It is relatively expensive and, considering the prices, it would have been nice if the portion sizes were slightly larger like in Italy.

Debra Chalmers

I've been here without a reservation, the really nice waitress took me to a small clean table. Also the other waitresses are really nice. I ordered Mixed olives and a pasta. Both are really delicious. The dessert was verry good and the Espresso was what it should be, little and strong! The restaurant is not the cheapest but the best. Little Italy in Canada

Food has always been very tasty. When the weather allows, the patio is very comfortable and is bordered off nicely from foot traffic to maintain intimacy with your party. The last visit our server did not check back with us until close to the end and a member of our party want to order another drink. Understandably busy but still the experience was had. Don't let that stop you from going to this wonderful restaurant. Just stay patient and polite. The food will make you smile. Closer to 4.5 than 5.

Can I give a six stars rating? ⭐ Here is the extra star. I'm Italian and always very skeptical when it comes to Italian food outside Italy. I spent my birthday dinner at Capra's.... And I can't wait to go back again to try everything I couldn't this time. The location is very nice. They also have a room dedicated to parties, that's a great idea. The food is so authentic that I really can't complain about anything. Great ingredients, presentation, taste, serving time, cooking. And a very honest bill considering how good we have been. Bravi.

Jessica Rodrigues

My favorite Italian style restaurant. The service is prompt and friendly. Interior modern and chic with a nice ambience and music. Great location off Lakeshore Road. Only downsize of this place is that it is relatively expensive and the portion sizes relatively small. Not at all Italian like!

Catharine Robinson

I ate there July 31 and the food, the service were excellent. Highly recommend this restaurant Scott

Lovely atmosphere and great food. Our red headed waitress was wonderful!!!!

I visited this restaurant for my friends birthday party. The restaurant was extremely busy, but the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend the bread basket, as it was a very tasty appetizer. However, it would have been nice to have some olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table to dip the bread. We did receive olive oil and vinegar when the main meal came, however by then we had no use for it. The food came very fast after ordering it, especially for such a large group - we were 15 people and the food all arrive at the same time. As other people have said, the food portions are fairly small for the price. I understand that this is a gourmet restaurant, however, my $20 vegan option of cauliflower “steak” was tiny (probably at most a 3rd of a cauliflower with purée around it). I asked for bread for my meal and the server brought it immediately and did not charge me for it which was kind. I would not recommend this restaurant to those who are vegan or are dairy sensitive since the opinions are limited. The dish I had was tasty, but just not filling enough for the price point. Everyone else enjoyed their dishes but also mentioned the smaller portions. Definitely a good Italian restaurant that tried to have one vegan option and I can greatly appreciate that.

Fantastic pasta and pizza. A real must try!!!! You'll love it

Kristina Olivia

Oh my god—- MIND BLOWING! We had the risotto and the pesto pizza and finished it with Tiramisu! It was the best Italian I have had in Canada!!!

Theresa B

What a great place! The food was so delicious and fresh! The fungi pizza can be a little less thin in the middle (got soggy because if the thinness). The pasta was amazing !!!

I went on a weekend evening for dinner with my partner. Our waiter, Fred, was where things went bad for both my partner and myself. First, we asked for recommendations and he didn't have any. We then asked if we could have a pizza without any cheese and he said that's not possible - how does that even make sense? The kitchen staff just don't add cheese, end of story! His manners were extremely unwelcoming and rude. Behind us was another table with a couple. As an example, he asked them at the end of their meal if they'd like to see the dessert menu. When we finished our meal, he said "anything else?". If you work at a restaurant and want to upset your menu selection, especially after meal dessert or drinks, this isn't the way. I asked him if they had gelato (as they used to before) and he said "it's called ice cream now" - rude! Lastly to top it all off, when he came with the bill and the card machine, he had to loudly say the total amount. Imagine you're on a date, how embarrassing would that be? Where are any manners?! As much as we loved the food since it is really good and I gave it 5 stars, the management needs to really speak to Fred because treating your customers like this is not worth it - especially since I even tipped him out of courtesy and not even a thank you.

Got together on the patio with a friend of mine last night at Capra's Kitchen. Our food and drinks came out at the perfect times. Our server was very kind and attentive. We even had the pleasure of interacting with Fabio on several occasions. Hands down best service experience from our server and her manager. We left with hopes of returning and seeing Fabio again next time!

I cannot say enough good things about Capra’s Kitchen! My only disappointment was not meeting Massimo - because I totally would have fan girled! We met here on a Sunday evening around 6pm, it was a night out to celebrate the birthday of three girlfriends. We started off by ordering the white sangria - it was amazing! It tasted as if we were just drinking juice - but the alcohol was definitely in there. For appetizers we ordered sausage stuffed olives (Olive Ascolane)!! O.M.G - I don’t even like olives and these were DELICIOUS. Green olives stuffed with sausage in the middle and fried, they were garnished with parmesans cheese - what more do you need? We also ordered the bruschetta. Absolutely no complaints - the bread was fresh and so were all the ingredients used. For mains I myself got the pizza, the Salaiccia - yummmm! It came with extra Parmesan cheese and chilli oil! I was in heaven. I’m craving it now while thinking about it. My friends tried gnocchi di patate- the best gnocchi I have ever had, honestly. I’m not a fan of gnocchi but always try it when people order it - this was by far the best! - another friend got the ravioli caprese and it was delicious. The other was gluten free so she go the Bolognese and let me tell you there was nothing left! And because we weren’t full enough (insert eye roll here) we ordered dessert — I mean we each ordered our own dessert. We tried the affogato which comes with in house made biscotti and the rest of us tried the s’mores dessert they had - sooo yum! This is definitely a must try restaurant - I can’t recommend it enough. I’d go back a 100 times over.

Very nice atmosphere, great service delicious food. We went for brunch, my SO got the eggs florentine and I got Eggs Massimo. The eggs Massimo won the meal, best poached egg I have ever had. Highly recommend will definitely be going back. Expect a step above your average brunch experience.

Ericka Bonecchi

Amazing on all accounts!!! My favourite place to eat and hang out. Chef Nitesh and Chef Massimo take things to a whole new level!

Pritesh Mistry

Had the T-bone, Mushroom Risotto, Polente and Calamari and the bread with "THE BOMBA", A M A Z I N G!! Service was exceptional. Coming back again and again.

Ming Chu

Had a delicious patio meal. The Hipster Brunch bowl was very tasty, the avacado was super fresh! The make your own mimosa was fun (although they initially didn’t give us enough OJ at first). Friends gave good feedback on their pasta dishes as well.

Doug W

The General Manager was just great. The service was excellent and the food was amazing.

Neill Lui

I took my family here for a birthday dinner last weekend. We came just before the dinner rush but the food was perfect and delicious! Our server was cordial and attentive to our group. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu items.

Michael F

Have been here multiple times for different dishes and everything is excellent.

David L

Our new favourite spot! I don’t know how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. Our server MICHELLE is beyond amazing. So personable, thoughtful and just went above and beyond making our first experience exceptional. We decided to try the prix-fix lunch menu which was all very delicious - surpassing our favourite meal from another popular Italian restaurant. We were fortunate to even meet Chef Massimo and take a pic with him - he is so pleasant. The quality and portions of the food were perfect. We will definitely be bringing our family and friends here. The private party room area is beautiful. Can’t wait to hold an event here. Highly recommend making reservations to avoid disappointment. Brunch is only served on weekends until 3. Love the decor and ambience. Never saw a kitchen so clean and organized as well. Thanks again!!!

Nadia S

We ordered take-out from Capra's for the first time this past weekend. Everything was absolutely delicious, and there was clear attention to detail in every dish. The serving sizes are reasonable for the price, and it is obvious that they use very high quality ingredients. We will definitely be ordering from Capra's again!

Ali Bhagat

Enjoyed the cozy environment and great selection for brunch and pasta. Had the Hipster Toast which had all my favourite ingredients such as avocado, smoke salmon and fried egg

Dorin Newton

My Eggs Massimo dish was fantastic. The sausage coil was delicious, and the poached eggs with tomato sauce went very well with the toast. The home fries were more like baby roasted potatoes and were crispy and tasty. Portions were generous, and I left feeling very content.

Reza Jivani

Great service and wonderful food. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the servers were very helpful in explaining the different dishes. Highly recommend

Fatima Melo

Friendly staff. Fast and accurate. Online ordering platform is great.

Patrick Trinidad

Just a great experience! 7⭐️s for Chef Nitesh! Always ask for his vegan special. And don’t miss the desserts ????

Neil Motilal

I came here with my boyfriend for Sunday brunch. We ordered the robusta pizza, eggs massimo & arugula mushroom salad. Food was pretty mediocre. Nothing was exceptionally bad, but nothing was exceptionally good. Even the service was mediocre. Two things really turned me off. 1) The cheese that they use to top off your dish is the kraft Parmesan cheese. Can you really call yourself an Italian establishment? 2) They served us soap water. The server brought a water bottle to our table and poured water out for us. Upon drinking it, my boyfriend got a mouthful of soapy water. We checked our cups and the bottle and they both had bubbles and soap residue. Disgusting. The server offered a short apology and replaced our water. Be right back while I go rinse my mouth. I would’ve expected at the very least a comp’ed bill. I won’t ever be returning here & I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are plenty of better Italian restaurants in the area.

Jenny Chong

Very reasonably priced. Great selection and variety. There is something for everyone. I highly recommend the polenta "chips" - more like wedges. The wait staff are very courteous and helpful. I found we were rushed to finish our meal. The rib-eye 10z comes on a plank with rapini and home fries. That disappointed me - I was expecting roasted red potatoes. Cmon Capra! Overall my famiglia had an enjoyable evening.

-Carlos -Danger

Delicious! Everything was exceptional. Cannot wait to return with more friends and family to try some more of the menu items.

Sabrina coco

I enjoyed the food in general on previous dinners with my wife however after hosting my wife's birthday there with a larger group of 10, the service was very slow, it took us 2+ hours to get through a dinner, and upwards of 20 minutes to get a drink from the server, we could barely even reorder additional drinks as it was taking so long. It was also freezing when sitting in the overflow room in the back beside a coat rack. The food was also very salty and not as good on previous occasions, this was as shame as we introduced a group of 8 to a place we loved but don't think they would come back. The manager did apologize for a long wait but didn't really offer any concessions on the service, ive never really spent 2+ hours getting through a dinner which most of it was spent waiting. I've also never seen so many cherry tomatoes in my life! But hey it is an Italian restaurant.

Matt Monteleone

Just finished a great dinner. I can’t believe I haven’t been here before. The service at the bar from Melissa and T was amazing! True pros! I literally came home and booked my res for next Friday night. If you can get a seat at the bar and chat with Melissa and T you’re in for a treat. Thanks guys, can’t wait to come back.

Joshua Augusto

Quality ingredients means quality dishes. My wife loved the Grilled Calamari, the best she has ever had. The only complaint is that it doesn’t come with bread to soak up the sauce. The cheese and meat board was nice but nothing exciting. The pizza was fresh and flavourful. You can taste the wood oven difference. The pizzas are simple but the quality shines through.

Mary Bank

Delicious food and rapid service!!!

Sheila Wilson Moodie

Best Steak! Best Lamb! Best Fish we’ve ever had! we had an amazing time. The staff and ambiance was awesome.

Rin Van

We had a party of 6. Everyone loved their food. Taste, appearance and service was all excellent.

Tarun Bassi

The food and the service is good! Attending staff was so great. Started with the bread basket (great dip!) then had a pizza (goat cheese) and 2 pastas (orzo and ravioli)...all were great! This may be Mississauga’s best Italian resto and such a great place to meet up with friends!

Wesley Eleazar

The team here always make you feel welcome. Had the most amazing beet risotto. You can't go wrong with anything.

Joshua Gardner

Had outdoor brunch and absolutely loved it.. Plus got a my picture taken with Chef Massimo Capra.. Couldn't be happier..

Jimmy Setna

My fiancé and I tried this place for the first time on New Years Eve , food was to die for ! Pricy , the portions are NOT large , but the taste was a win !!!! Will order again ✔️

Very happy to finally be able to experience fresh Capra's after only having takeout for the past year since moving to Clarkson. The food did not disappoint and everything was delicious! The star was lost only because I saw way too many noses poking out from masks on staff the entire time. We ate indoors reluctantly (no space on the patio, I totally get it!) But it was a jarring first experience being back indoors and seeing so many staff with masks below the nose or even hanging on the chin while they moved around the restaurant and it made me feel uncomfortable, especially given how bad the cases in Peel were just a couple months ago and how many young patients I've treated for covid this year. I'll definitely be back to Capra's because of the food, but I'll be sure to stay outside.

Alois Riedl

The food is always on point! We came here one last time before Peel Region re-enters lockdown, and were blown away with the dishes ordered and service. Fabio was amazing: professional, friendly, courteous, and attentive. We're really going to miss dining in here during lockdown, but cannot wait until it reopens.

katrina N Brian Dignadice

Always a delicious and great place for the family to enjoy fantastic meals together. The pizzas are amaziso and the carpaccio is perfect! The staff is always so friendly too! Highly recommend going!

M Di Roma

Great food & drinks and both time's I went. I was surprised with how quickly everything comes out of the kitchen. The patio is kind of loud so be ready for that during the busy times but other than that, really good.

Peter Dohnal

One of our favourite restaurants. Service is great and food is excellent. Chef Massimo always very friendly visiting tables when not overseeing the kitchen. Nice patio in the summer. Does a nice job handling large groups.

Judith Solomon

Consistently delicious food and drinks, great staff and the LEBNAH is addicting and a must try. Highly recommend!!!

MT

Went with a group of friends for my birthday dinner, the food was on par, good drink menu, service was alright but could have been better. My friends arrived before me and complained that they felt the server was not very friendly, they felt as if she had made assumptions about them before serving them and they didn’t like the first two interactions with the server. When I arrived, it took awhile to order drinks, but over time the server was a lot easier to talk to and she even smiled a few times. Don’t assume based on looks that a table may not tip you as well, and try not to look annoyed. All in all, the experience was okay.

Cerbert Abalos

Capra’s is the best restaurant west of TO! The menu is both classic and interesting. The quality and flavour is fantastic. Absolutely second to none. The service is top notch but relaxed so you really enjoy the whole experience. We were there with friends for dinner. Everyone loved their choice of meal. The stuffed olives at the start were delightful flavour bombs. The wine selection is thoughtful, and reasonable. You can’t make a poor choice here. If you’re stuck, the wait staff are knowledgeable and eager to please. Be sure to make a reservation!

Still trying to figure out what I appreciated most about my experience at Capra's kitchen! The unbelievably tasty food, or the incredibly friendly service! As a discerning consumer, its refreshing to visit a restaurant that not only genuinely appreciates your business, but also places a high value on the relationship they establish with you, demonstrated through their food. Truly exceptional takeout, and food with a heart and a soul. Felt like I was literally eating something made in Chef Capra's kitchen, made for my family by his family. Thanks for making Mothers day so very special for my wife and 2 daughters. I will be back for certain!

Zeemz “The One God Answers To” 05

Capra’s Kitchen is amazing. They hosted a small gathering of family and friends for a wake in their functions room. The staff were warm and friendly the entire time we were there. The food was amazing and nobody went home hungry or dissatisfied. All of the people in our group were absolutely positive about the experience in the restaurant. We are grateful to Capra’s Kitchen. See you all soon! Special thanks to Fabio for managing out departed mothers function.

Alison Leung

Nice, open, airy and relaxing atmosphere with uncomplicated and familiar dishes that are executed to please the palate. We enjoyed very much the bag of bread $4 with it's tiny taralli, crispy parmesean chips with la bomba. The Carciofi $14 (fried artichokes) is a must and absolutely delicious with the aioli! Polenta chips $9 were savoury with a flavourful tomato sauce. Pastas with Bolognese $20 was rich and meaty but the Orecchiette $20 was disappointing as the mix of anchovies with either the salted ricotta or slightly bitter rapini did not taste well. Try it and see if you experience the same? The Risottos Ai Funghi $20 was creamy and smooth with an earthy tone. Fresh spinkle of olive oil from the table really brought out the flavours. The dough on the Pizza Pamigiana $22 is not tough, chewy or burnt with a classis proschiutto and arugula bite. This pizza was the most expensive dish we ordered, go figure! I do have to say that all the portions are well controlled and priced $2-4 higher but majority of the food is executed well. I suppose this is what you are paying for. All washed down with a pinot nero $32 for 1/2L which was high but matched perfectly with the meal. Service was on cue, attentive, friendly and accommodating which made the night conversational wih friends and family.

Update Sept 2021: The pandemic has seen a reduction in food and service quality. A little disappointed but going to take it with some understanding of it being trying times. The kitchen had a loud and profane disagreement heard across the restaurant. I do not consider this even close to a fine dining experience, at least not for brunch. Now feels overpriced and underwhelming. ~~~~ This is a gem of a find in Mississauga! I can see why it is featured in so many top eats lists for the city. Highly recommend their brunch as every item tried from the menu was delicious. I had the ricotta pancakes. Delicious! Perfect contrast between slightly savoury pancakes and sweet berry compote. A lot of versions of this breakfast staple are too sweet to really appreciate the nuanced taste. Not Capra's kitchen! Very well done. Other items were equally well received by the party.

Jon Yip Chuck

Excellent food, cocktails, and service. Perfect spot for a date night. Pastas are made in house and absolutely delicious. A lot of care is taken with the preparation of their dishes and it shows!

David Bird

I was really looking forward to dining there, however, the overall experience was quiet disappointing. I had made reservations few weeks ago prior to going there and specifically asked for a patio seating. When we got there, we were told there isn’t a table available although the hostess said she can see the request. The pastas we ordered were fresh and you can tell, however, the sauces and overall quality of the dish in term of taste was bland and flavourless. I was really expecting more. There were four of us dining there and all felt that way with our dishes.

Kyla Evans

Had a really great birthday dinner, great Decor, good service and very flavourful food. The online menu had a tartufo that, upon visiting, we were told that it was not updated. A bit odd for a higher-end restaurant. Lastly the agnolotti, which was mostly good, had a touch too much cream. However the chicken, lamb, and fish were top notch.

S Kay

Best gin tonic I have ever had, staff is amazing, and the food non the less perfection!

Sarah

Excellent food! Excellent service! Sat on the patio for lunch, great experience. Michelle is the server you need to have, very knowledgable of the menu and offered excellent advice.

Donsploitation

Been a few times and the food is excellent. Took my girlfriend for her birthday yesterday and I wasn't very happy about the initial table for 2 that they gave us in our reservation, but after a request they gave us another table with more privacy which was nice. The service was quite slow, but the food was great. I had the rib eye (would highly recommend) and my girlfriend had the salmon, bruschetta for an appetizer. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend. Pricey but very high quality food. Apps range from 8 to 20$, dinners from 18$ to 45$ per person depending on order.

K S

Very delicious food! Presentation is beautiful, atmosphere is great, interior is lovely. We ordered the stuffed toast and benny, both was recommended by our server which was very good. If you decided to come PARK AT REAR, there are lots of parking spots. The front parking is for the other stores and the back parking has a back door to go into Capra's for your convenience. I am not sure if each table is assigned a server, but our server didn't come back after giving us water to take our orders. So we asked another server who was happy to take our order, the food came pretty fast so we were feeling better. Because the next time we saw our server was half an hour later....

Massimo Ambrosini

Enjoyed my dinner at Capra’s Kitchen - the service at the restaurant was outstanding. From the excellent service begins from the moment you walk in and are greeted. The waitress who served us was fantastic. Outgoing, friendly, charismatic, and full of character. The floor manager checked up on our table on how our food was. Finally Chef Massimo Capra also came to say hi, welcome us to his restaurant, and ensure we were enjoying our meals. The food was also delightful. Great Italian food with a home made taste and feel. Polenta fries were a great starter. The gnocchi with beef cheek and lamb were my favourites. Thoroughly enjoyed Capra’s Kitchen, can’t wait to come back and I would recommend this place to others in the area.

Rawan

I went here today, taking my mom out for an early dinner. We arrived at 4:10pm, and we asked to sit in the Dining section, and picked a table. We were told it was reserved for 6:30pm, so we would have about 2hrs to eat. This turned out to be no problem as we were practically forced out within 40mins. Our waiter, Fred, was terrible. He couldn't even take the time to answer a simple question about one dish I wanted to get. He walked away 3 times after giving me the same answer to a question I wasn't asking. Our appetizer was brought out in a couple minutes, followed by our meal a few minutes later. He kept taking away things we weren't finished with, and was constantly walking up to us to rush us out, when we weren't even finished. He brought us the bill without us asking, and made sure we knew how much h was a good tip, then walked away without a thank you. Also, there was a table nearby who were loudly saying racial slurs and other rude things. Rather than say anything, as other people were getting upset, Fred went over and joked with them. Staff brought them more shots too. Food was great though, but we won't be going back.

Monika JP

The food was great although I thought the portions were slightly small. Staff is friendly!

Tabish Hasnain

Fantastic couldn’t have been happier! It so nice to have a Toronto quality restaurant here in Mississauga. The pizza dough was thin and beautifully airy and light, one of the best pizza’s I’ve had in a long time. The pickerel was so fresh and full of flavour. I’m so happy we decided to stop in for dinner. This is going to be a regular treat for us from now on.

Christine Nairne

The reserve a table option on google went smoothly. My girlfriend and I arrived for our reso and everything was already confirmed. We were shown to our table and the server arrived shortly right after. Great food, great service. Will definitely be coming again

Alyssa Macmorine

Great local place. Clarkson has the pleasure of having a local legend nested in there area. Food is simple comfort food that's authentic! Expect fresh breads, olives, cheeses and olive oil! Several pizzas, pastas, and mains! Most of the days they have soecials so the menu is constantly different. High quality, great service! Voted #1 Italian restaurant in Mississauga this year! Check it out!

smriti sood

Quality food, great taste and presentation. Excellent balance in taste, umami for your tastebuds. Even with a busy restaurant service wasn't super slow. Only qualm was a small portion of the sea bass was a little under done, but still very edible.

Alana Moore

Went here for brunch and had the Hipsters Toast and the Eggs Massimo. Both dishes were quite flavourful and filling. Will definitely have to come back to check out the rest of the menu. If you're looking for a solid brunch in the area, you won't be disappointed!

Natasha Rose Widmer

My sister took me there for lunch, food is delicious, great service, and lovely atmosphere, I would very much recommend it .

Melody Kacsoh

Great atmosphere, proper authentic italian Food from Celebrity Chef Capra. The gentleman working in the Kitchen, Connor Lynn cooked my pasta. It tasted amazing. I only want my food cooked chef Connor now haha Capra's Kitchen is the spot to go if you want REAL authentic Italian Food. All ingredients tasted so fresh and authentic. Amazing food

I never post reviews for restaurants but this restaurant was something else. I’ve been to this restaurant before, their food is great but their service was absolutely horrendous this time around. My server came by with glasses but with no water for over 15 minutes. We had to call over a different server just for them to take our order. My girlfriend and I got our appetizers quite quickly but having waited OVER AN HOUR for our main dish and still, after no server running the dishes over to us, I got up to the host just to get their attention as we haven’t seen our server since he handed us the glasses with no water in the beginning. Absolutely crazy how we were not attended for when our area wasn’t even half-full capacity and people that came after us were getting their food. How can you possibly enforce a 90 minute maximum seating rule when your server literally leaves the table unattended and not even get your main dish after an hour? Only after I spoke to the host after an hour, the food arrived, with no cutlery or plates as they were taken away after our appetizers. I’ve never been so baffled at a restaurant in my life and I’ve worked at several server jobs before. I literally didn’t see our main server after he served us our water, the least he could’ve done was let us know he was leaving. We had reservations at 8:00 only to get our main dishes with no cutlery at 9:15. I’ve been to this restaurant before along with friends but taking my girlfriend here for the first time was the biggest slap in the face. The GM came over and handled the situation great, but my impression was already rock bottom at that point, thank you for trying Fabio.

Trisha R

We came here for dinner one time and the food was really good and heard a lot of good things about the brunch so we decided to come and try it out! This is definitely one of the best food spots in the city and now it's going to be one of my go to spots for brunch. We started off with the Tabneh, it was a very interesting flavor and very unique. The taste of the Greek yogurt complimented the bread very well and was overall delightful. And then I ordered the Robusta pizza with eggs on it! I was a little hesitant to order it but it turned out to be really delicious and filling. This place is a must go if you're in the area!!

Usman Qidwai

Went to celebrate my wife birthday. Good experience. Got the best spot as requested. We ordered Grille calamari, Margherita pizza, Salmone, Gamberetti, and two pasta dishes. Food was tasty, rich but for pasta we added a bit of Parmesan cheese and salt to make it for our liking. Will go back.

Sarah Conte

We came here for a lunch date because we won a $50 gift card to Capra’s at a Stag and Doe a few months back and wow do things happen for a reason. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Bruschetta - really good but would of been better with some balsamic drizzle on top. Pizza Calabrese - really good and crispy, a bit spicy with the peppers. Ragu Bolognese - amazing, I added chili oil to it and it made the dish even better. Complaints: 1. The parking is very limited. So you may be circling for a bit finding a spot. It’s only in the back and the lot next to it has a tow sign for people who park there (no parking for people going to Capra’s there, only in the back). 2. We used the gift card and the server handed me the debit/visa machine but pushed the machine straight to tipping an amount instead of giving me options for percentage, or amount, which threw me off and put a bad taste in my mouth. I clicked “correct” on the machine and it took me back to my options. Felt very forced to push tipping a high amount on guests. Our meal, 1 app and 2 mains for lunch, came to about $66 which is a lot for lunch. We had to flag down the server any time we needed anything. We actually had someone else come take our order because he saw us waiting for so long and when she found out he took our order she was extremely angry and stormed off. I still gave her 15% of the original bill amount but it was extremely disrespectful for her to skip all the tip options to basically force a high tip. Servers name was Ally. I’m giving 4 stars because the food was amazing and I loved the atmosphere. I wouldn’t give lower stars due to the staff, but I do hope management sees this review. Btw, I’m posting pictures of the Menu because we were having trouble finding the menu with prices online and I always find it strange when restaurants hide their prices...

really nice casual approachable modern restaurant with a great vibe on a busy night, the staff are all helping each other to deliver a great experience this place use only high quality Italian Cheeses and Salumi, mainly fresh pasta is used and is the Bolognese is a must! A limited selection of in house made desserts and great espresso complete every meal.

Great Food Great Service Perfect place to have a casual dinner, formal dinner, or just need some good food. A very comfortable home like feeling.

Came here for a dinner in light of thanksgiving with my parents and boyfriend. As I was ordering my main course, I noticed that only one pasta dish was preset with a 4oz lobster tail. I had inquired about adding this 4oz lobster tail to a different pasta dish, as I was feeling something other than a simple spaghetti in a tomato based sauce. Our waitress was a sweetheart and said she would inquire about adding this lobster tail to the gnocchi dish I was interested in. Moments later, she returned and informed me that it would cost me $30 to add a 4oz lobster tail. At first I thought she said $13 - in which I wasn’t too appalled at, but the look on her face said it all. It was $30. This was CLEARLY not her call - she was just passing the owner’s message along. I straight up asked if that was a joke. My PASTA dish would have came to about $60 if I chose to add that tiny lobster tail for $30. Again, waitress was a total sweet heart and I felt awful for the horrible, embarrassing position she was put in by the owner - who thinks he can make a ridiculous call like charging $30 to simply move a lobster tail from pasta one dish to another. So yeah - if you’re craving a lobster tail, there’s only one set way you can have that lobster tail. Otherwise, be prepared to pay $30 to add a tiny 4oz lobster tail to whatever meal YOU are paying to enjoy. Actually, save yourself the trouble and just go to The Keg.

EDITED 2019/11/02 This is an amendment to my previous, already glowing review of this amazing local favourite. Last night I decided to grab some takeout from this place. I was influenced by a tip from a friend of mine that Capra's was serving one of it's rare Chef's specials. Handmade tagliatelle, with white truffles and butter/cream sauce. I arrived early for my order and was taken to the back bar to wait. After being handed my bill by the bartender, I realised I was charged for the wrong thing. I told the bartender it was the incorrect order and he jumped immediately into action. He quickly came back with a man whom I can only describe as being like a young Ricardo Montalbán. Very charming. He extended his hand and introduced himself as Fabio the general manager. This man could not have been more gracious. He informed me of the error and upgraded my meal at no charge. He also insisted that he buy me a drink. He said I could have any drink I wanted and seemed almost disappointed that I had selected a Heineken. At this point I was in near disbelief at the amount of fuss over a very small mistake, that I would have been more than happy to wait for while the issue was rectified. In the end a person from the kitchen personally came out from the kitchen to give me my food, and made a point to proudly show me the quality of the truffles he carefully had prepared for the meal. Anyways.... WOW. This is rare service to find anywhere at any level. These people are deeply passionate at every level. Even as I sat and nursed my beer, waitresses that were not even serving me warmly made the effort to say "Hi" and make sure I was taken care of. Amazing work guys, you will continue to have my loyal patronage.

4 stars, but it's complicated. Reserved for my husband's 40th bday for a table of 13 people. On a positive note first, the food here is great! Tried the stuffed olives, the grilled calamari and the burrata to start, all perfection! Husband had the spaghetti with lobster and i had the gnocchi, only complaint here was the gnocchi sauce was a little gritty. Mushroom pasta and boar agnolotti both delicious also and calabrese pizza was great though crust a little too dark to bother eating. Either way, the food is totally worth the trip!! Can't say the same for the service though on this particular occasion. Right off the bat hostess acknowledged we need a high chair, but then no one came so we searched one out on our own. 30 minutes after everyone arrived finally someone came for a drink order, and though we were ready to order, delayed that for another 30 mins. When asked to describe the tuna dish (hubby was on the fence) the waitress told us it comes with what's written on the menu... (seriously?). We were all starving and waiting to order drinks again by the time someone showed, luckily with our food which didn't take long to arrive. Needless to say the toddler did not fair well in this length of time waiting to eat. (Thank goodness we brought her snacks...) Again, mains arrived in good time for our numbers, unfortunately my brother and his date had asked 3 different wait staff for new drinks including a manager before they were served well into the main course. I would understand if the restaurant was packed, but even the server acknowledged how high cancellations were due to pandemic I'm sure. I just feel like if you're going to tack on 20% grat, which i have no problem with, don't phone in the service bc you have "nothing to lose". And even though i'll never feed into all the complaints at the table, ( bc i don't want the mood to be total disdain) i must say I was disappointed having been in the industry for 18 years. I fetched our dessert menu's myself upon my guests request and we asked for bills before even ordering so we could get the little one home a.s.a.p. Upon leaving not a single staff greeted us which is crazy considering not a single person was busy with guests. Lots to learn here about hospitality, too bad bc this place has serious food, or maybe thats what they rely on for return clientele..

Ahmed Albatish

Place was good we got seated all the way at the back of the restaurant away from the rest of the crowd so couldn't tell what the atmosphere was really like (was facing the back wall). Food was good most people ordered the gnocchi which they liked I ordered a margerita pizza which was just okay. Not as tasty as I've had at other places but doable. The servers were really nice and attentive.

Sam Sabapathy

Great place to hang with friends. Nice wine selection. Service was good. I liked how the kitchen was exposed and you can see the Chef's preparing your meals. However, the food was okay. Bruschetta was good.

Nabil H

So many different flavors to taste, it was a unique experience. Everyone was super friendly. Would definitely come back again. Try the blueberry pancakes and the hipster toast!

kerri. k

Went here yesterday with some girl friends for brunch. The food was great, atmosphere was great, and service was amazing. I can't remember our server's name but my friends and I had a ton of split bills and the server took care of it perfectly. Thank you for being so patient with us and sorry we complicated our orders ????! Would definitely come back here.

Delicious food! Beautiful venue! Awesome service. Even if you aren't in the area, this is definitely a restaurant you need to try!!!!

Delicious food, friendly service, and an overall great experience. Everything we tried was excellent. Thank you for a lovely meal!

Thank you to the amazing chefs and waiting staff for a beautiful evening. The food was delicious, the atmosphere regal and the seating spacious. The hummus and bread are enough of a reason to return, but the pasta I had was mouthwatering. I took one star off because the parking and entrance are confusing, especially in the dark winter.

Yumei De Armas

Good food and service, interesting decor. One of the best Italian restaurants I've experienced. The price point is high and on par with most restaurants of this type. The portion sizes are a bit small, so it's not the kind of place for fans of those Italian themed chains that shall not be named. It's a really classy joint, while it lacks Mafia vibes. A real nice place for celebrations and special occasions. Watch out for chef Massimo.

Jen Lynn

Decided to go here tonight, November 13th, 2021. Busy Saturday night, 8pm reservation. After months of hearing nothing but good things about this place, and upon walking in its well packed(following Covid protocols) masks and vaccine passport enforced. Greeted warmly and genuinely by Fabio and staff, everyone from the greeters, the servers and management seemed to be happy and happy to be there and it showed in how they treated the patrons and how they brought the food with flair. Our starter was the fresh ricotta with figs, pistachio and croutons. Me and the girlfriend were impressed upon first bite, by far the best antipasto/appetizer dish I've ever had. Flavourful, well executed, and served fresh. To drink we got an Aperol spritz, which was made properly and that's rare at some places and I got a pint of Old Credit Amber. Beer was fresh and perfect! For our main we had, the Margherita pizza with arugula and prosciutto and the funghi pizza. Both are well executed, dough is perfect, wood oven fired, with lots of care and attention to detail. Some of the best pizza I've ever had, and I'm not pulling anyone's leg. Dessert and coffee was the bee's knees too, the pistachio cake and gelato were top notch and the chocolate salami was super flavourful and not overly sweet. To go somewhere and have dinner for two for $150.00 is rare on its own, to have it so well made and have service that is genuine and feel like you're well attended to and having well made food without cutting corners makes it all the better. Will come back again and tell more people to come to this wonderful place.

Nikin Popat

Fried olives and polenta sticks were amazing, great selection of wines and food was very good.

Ian

Had the fried chicken and pancakes. Was skeptical at first but the chili maple syrup really tied everything together. Great food. Great service.

Wendy Li

I went for a bite and drinks a few nights ago. Sat at the bar and had an amazing time. The food was delicious. Had the Labneh, bruschetta, pizza and bolognese. All was amazing but the best part was the atmosphere, the staff and especially Melissa who served us at the bar and was amazing to watch making drinks for the restaurant. I plan on going in regularly now to try all the menu items and have a drink after work. Such a great place. Thanks

Alfredo Mendes

Had an amazing Friday night at Capras. Have been here before, but our server Stacy tonight knocked it out of the park. Amazing service. So personable and always made sure we were doing well and saw if food was to our standards. Food was just amazing. Bruschetta is a NEED when coming here. Will come back again and again.

Angelo M

Very good food, wine and service! Highly recommend the pasta with the shrimp and the mushroom risotto. The carbonara I felt had a bit too much egg in it and had a bitter finish. Overall we had a great time and will return!

varshana boodadoo

Great place for brunch! Love the potatoes, very well seasoned.

Enuiss Lo

Good for value, taste, portion. The pizza was extremely good

Yunseung Nam

Fantastic food and atmosphere. We loved the Italian house wine.

ROTL

I believe its overpriced, you get more food for lesser price at mama martinos ....not professional waiters either...kind staff though

Mel

We ordered the Salsiccia Pizza, Seafood Risotto but substituted rice with pasta and the grilled Calamari. All are amazing and we'll presented as in the pictures I took. Servers are efficient and polite. Ambiance is very cozy. We chose the to eat inside since the patios are busy but social distance are well maintained. Definitely will come back.

E R

I went here with three girls friends and I have to say, everything we ate was amazing. No lie, not a bad course or dish. We even got to meet the owner! I am looking forward to going back with my husband and son and enjoying more of this amazing food!!!

Craig Thompson

Cooks without mask!!! Breathing on the food they are preparing. We preferred to leave #covid#safe

Megan Ireland

The food is great and the place is really nice for brunch ????

Rebecca Tremblay - Vuik

I have been here multiple times and they are consistently amazing. Tried their chefs table tonight for a birthday and it is a MUST DO, we felt like Queens! The experience comes with the chef and sous chef coming to your table and explaining dishes to you and them setting up dishes based on your preferences. It was amazing and would highly recommend this to anyone. The service was exceptional, ask for Natalia !!

Manny & Pavan Bedi

Very friendly and professional staff, amazing food and service.

Nirmal Phull

I've been to Capra's a few times and have even made it a favorite for others. My last interaction was especially notable - I had an order for pick-up and because it was a special occasion and having had mix-ups with other restaurants, I made a point of noting this in my order. Completely unnecessary, but the manager added something to make it more special. Thank you!

Jason W

The service was good. The fish fantastic. The carbonara was very smokey and not very saucy. Good wine selection.

Rez Zabanah

Very nice ambiance I have to give them that. I went with a party of 12, the apps came quickly but the entrees took over 45 mins to arrive. The food to me was just ok, I have had better, quite pricey for what you get. Sorry Capras but I wasnt too impressed.

Sam B

Visited Capra's Kitchen about 2 weeks ago. I have to say it was quite the disappointment. The saving grace is the staff were friendly and attempted to mend some of the issues we had at our dinner. The apps were probably the best part of the dinner. We ordered two bruschetta (3 pieces each) and the hummus dip. When the bruschetta arrived to the table on a long wooden board there was only 5 pieces, I can only assume that they didn't try to fit the 6th on there. We didn't touch the dish until the server came back so we could address the fact that 1 piece was missing. our server quickly returned with the missing piece which begs the question if it was ready why was it not included at the time. Both the bruschetta and hummus dip tasted good. I would recommend them. The mains were the most disappointing, aside from the chicken which was cooked well and tasted the best out of everything. The dry aged rib eyes, were the most expensive on the menu and the two that we ordered were both cooked incorrectly. Both were requested medium-rare and arrived closer to medium, medium-well. One of these steaks were discounted to compensate for the incorrect cook which I am thankful to the manager for doing that. The carbonara tasted off to the point that even though the serving size was so small the person eating it couldn't finish it because they started to feel sick. We also ordered sides separately from our mains, my biggest grievance here that when the server verbally told us the options she said "rappini, carrots, mashed potatoes etc." so I ordered the rappini. What came to the table was broccoli & rappini. Now given the menu does state "Garlic Broccoli & rappini" The server should do their part to inform the guest that it comes with both. I like rappini, I do not like broccoli. They are not the same. So when the dish came to the table it felt like they just used the broccoli to fill the dish because they were short on rappini thinking we wouldn't know the difference. Lastly when it came to the dessert and tea. One tea pot only filled half the cup of tea while another tea pot filled another persons full cup. which made no sense. sugar and other tea condiments were not brought to the table with the tea so we had to wait for the server to return to ask and then come back with them later before we could drink the tea. The tiramisu & donut balls took a while to come to the table even after the server assured us they were ready, which can be written off as it was busy but they were good.

I BELIEVE I CAN FRY !

Nice place for brunch, located along Lakeshore in Mississauga. Nice weekend brunch spot with a good selection. Top winners are brunch pizza, ravioli, stuffed French toast, and orchestra eggs benny.

Campbell Beaton

Perfect for brunches, food was good, decor is cute too. Just limited options. Pancakes are a big hit, also ravioli in pesto sauce was yummmmm. Very cute place, i will be going back soon.????????

Neena Popat

Always wanted to visit. Nice ambiance we missed brunch arrived at three pm. Not much offered for an early dinner. A little pricey for small portions. Would have been nice to have some kind of bread or salad with our pastas which were tasty but Luke warm. Overall would not go again

Brittany Tom

One of my favourite dining experiences of this year. Our server ADAM was upbeat, attentive, and knowledgeable on all they had to offer. He most deffinitely took the time to connect with us have great conversation with our large group. The food was impeccable. The Tartufata just melts in your mouth. You could smell the pizza cooking in the kitchen and tasted just as amazing. The prices are very reasonable for a next to fine dining experience. Will deffinitely be taking the trip from our home in Grimsby to come back here.

Lesley Billson

Good food and really prompt service. They we great at accommodating our hurried schedule and rambunctious 13 month old. Also, went here for Brunch for the first time this weekend. It was GREAT! The outdoor area is very nice, the service was great, and the Porchetta Benny was AMAZING!

Aishwarya Sharma

Always a good experience; good ambiance; tasty food…our waiter Joe was super friendly and kept checking in!

Ravi Gill

The carbonara is awful. I don't know if it was just off for me, but the dish tasted bitter and tasted too much of olive oil. I think the guanciale was burnt. It made my stomach roll over in disgust. There was only enough pasta to fit between two palms, which I couldn't even finish because it was that terrible. For $22, this is outrageous! I would not recommend coming here. Service was friendly but backlogged. I understand with the pandemic things have been hectic but this was two weeks into reopening. I would expect the staff to have found some kind of harmony.

Greg GC

Just had dinner here with my husband for the first time. Staff was friendly, food was delicious and we even met Chef Massimo tonight. What an honor to meet him! Great interior space, music wasn't loud so conversations were easy to hear, lighting complimented the food to look great, portions were great and the price is great. We will be going back regularly.

Ryan Byrne

What a great night! We live in Toronto, on the Danforth, and needed a place inbetween our location and friends who live in Burlington. I did my research and settled on Capra's Kitchen, especially because I watch Massimo Capra on the Food Network, and love his approach to life. What a great choice! The space is simple, the vibe great, and it appeals to all ages. Fabulous service. Solid cocktail skills. A well-curated and well-priced wine list. And the food? Simply amazing. Great value, unique twists on old favourites, with some new favourites, too. LOVED everything about it! Resis a must. UPDATE as of 9/11/21: It is still completely amazing!

Leo Bagatto

Place has exceptional service and exceptional food! Staff is amazing and provide top of the line service. Food is phenomenal! Definitely recommend

Mike Capucinno

Massively delicious food that just tickles your taste buds and your mind is enveloped by the desire to discover more. The food is only surpassed by their service and attention to detail. If you haven't been here, you need to go today! Lunch or dinner, you won't regret it .

Maria Lima

My sister-in-law hosted a surprise birthday brunch party for me. Their french toast has to be the best I have had ever! We were sitting in their party room - the decor was great and I loved the exclusive bar set up. I would host parties here. Service was top notch as well.

Kevin L

Absolutely one of the best meals I've had! The staff was amazing and the ambiance was EVERYTHING! Went for dinner but they offer a brunch time as well, I will definitely be checking that out! (Also got to meet the owner tonight! A wonderful man who seems to love his business as well as his employees! A great time!)

Tiffany Arruda

Everyone is super friendly here. Service is great. The restaurant is spacious and great for large groups. Not cramped at all. Seemed like a great place for a date, girls night out or even a larger group. Our server told us they take brunch reservations on weekends too, which is great for groups with kids so there is no waiting. The branzino was yummy. Loved the tomatoes and the citrus of it. Really made it summery and light. The orecchiette was good too. Monday nights are half price bottles of wine, which we definitely took advantage of.

Marwa Besher

Great service. Freshly made pasta.

Anita N

The gem of Lakeshore. Honestly one of the best Italian restaurants in the GTA. Great portions, delicious pasta & pizza, and a good wine menu. The service is fantastic and if you’re lucky the owner (Massimo Capra) may come by to say hello. Also please do not leave without trying the Tiramisu!!

Derek Durham

My favourite brunch place of all! Brought lots of friends here and all of them loved it. Parking is limited but you will manage to find somewhere nearby to park.

Peter V

Excellent food and service! Would definitely recommend the pizza and pasta dishes. Wonderful place for Italian food. In the summer the patio is lovely. If you’re looking to support local, check out Capra’s.

Jeslene Bryant

In terms of flavour profiles and attention to details, probably one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the best. I never knew something as simple as home fries could be made this delicious. All these simple dishes that we're used to having elsewhere were elevated in terms of flavour profile. The portions are not the biggest but the quality of the food more than makes up for that. The atmosphere and the decor are modern and chic, although a bit cramped for space. The service was courteous but average. Not super attentive. Probably not their fault as they looked a bit understaffed for such a busy shift - nothing the management/owner can't solve by adding a few more bodies during the busy shifts.

Katrina Francisco

Always love going to Capras with friends and family. With its relaxed environment and delicious food it is the perfect spot for any occasion. My last visit was December 2021 and it was amazing! I had the bolognese and a few friends had the pizzas. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Our server was funny and experienced providing us with excellent service. Capras is a place I would recommend to everyone!

Joao vitor Zimermann

Service was great and ambiance is really nice. I tried the sandwiches before and they were excellent, however, I found the raviolis to be too small. I don't eat much and I usually take leftovers, but here I finished my plate and I still felt a bit hungry. Other people in my group also ordered the raviolis and they felt the same way. They were delicious though. It looks like the other dishes were ok and people were satisfied... I guess I just won't order raviolis next time. Other than that, food was very delicious and service is very attentive.

Alice Park

I came here for the second time and I enjoyed it much more the second time. We were seated in a relatively private area and the waiter took really good care of us. The pizzas are really good. My favourite pizza is the Calabrese. If you love a bit of spice in your pizza, then this pizza will do it for you! It has spicy soppressata on top with lots of cheese and if that’s not enough, add a bit of their spicy oil from Sicily and you would love it. The pizzas are not too thick and the crust is easy to eat too! They made it just right without burning the pizza. I also had some of the appetizers. The labneh is good if you like your yogurt to be somewhat sweet. It’s sweet because of the honey they have on the yogurt. I really like the roasted pinenuts they added to the dip too. Adds a bit of toasted smell to the dip. Serve it with pita and watch this appetizer disappear within minutes. The bruschetta is nice. Each bruschetta has three pieces. This restaurant adds an extra touch by having goat cheese added as a spread before the chopped tomato mix is added on top. The grilled calamari is not chewy, and has a good sized piece. They grilled it with brown butter so it’s great to dip some of the extra bread left over in the butter. The rib eye steak is also a good one to order. They serve the steak on a wooden board which is unique! I like their steak in particular because it was a good thickness and had a good balance of fat and meat. LAST TIP?! Don’t be alarmed that you are sitting relatively close to other tables. Because of the small space that they have, it’s hard to space out the tables too much. Like I mentioned previously, they have a private space that can be rented out for larger parties!! So if you have a celebration, you might want to consider this place to hold it!

Leah 95

Very delicious Italian Restaurant. I have gotten takeout twice before I got the Brazino ( Sea bass) and Capra pizza for takeout. My family ate on the patio for dinner on a Saturday with a reservation. Their food quality is consistent. My parents ordered the rib eye steak , calamarized carrots ,potatoes and I ordered the the Spaghetti Camberi and zucchini. The servers are very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant! Even their panna cotta was tasty as well.

Davi Chahal

Outstanding. Brunch was incredible. Fried chicken pancake has the most tender, juicy fried chicken ever. Fully plan on returning.

Kathy Nguyen

We celebrated our friend's birthday here tonight (Saturday night at 6pm). The restaurant decor is modern and Chef Massimo was in the restaurant, which was cool. As time passed, it got busier so a reservation might be a good idea. We had the bag of bread (everyone liked except me), Margherita and Calabrese pizzas (everyone liked - the dough is just exceptional), crab spaghetti (no one was impressed), vongole (everyone liked), pasta feature - seafood ragu (no one liked). The glass of white wine recommended to accompany the vongole didn't impress me. For dessert: baked apple, affogato, tiramisu and chocolate salumi. Everyone had different opinions on this one. I liked only the tiramisu. Parking is free.

Jeff Kent

Love there gluten free pizza gluten free pasta and they're famous Caesar salad

Kris Vathsalan

Had an amazing meal with excellent service here. Appetizer, mains and dessert were all delicious. We started off with a shared board (Antipasto of Salumi, Cheese, Marinated Olives, House Pickled Vegetables Salsa Rossa, Hummus), followed by shrimps and Lamb Loin Chops, finishing off with the Chocolate Charcuterie Board. Each dish was outstanding. Having a sweet tooth, my favourite was the Chocolate Charcuterie Board :) It even came with fireworks (no doubt inspired by the fact that this was our anniversary meal - we were also presented a card signed by Massimo). Parking is free and casual attire is acceptable here. Highly recommended.

R Kaur

Great service. Friendly staff, I like dine here with my friends . Each server has treated us with the respect. We never rushed, and We feel comfortable in the environment. Highly recommended to everyone

Vishal Chopra

Enjoyed our lunch there! It was our first time and will be back again!! Server was amazing too! Yummy Vongole, pizza and tiramisu!

Robert Luong

Amazing food and ambiance! I've been here for brunch and dinner and both menus are delicious. The Eggs Massimo is a unique dish that you don't see in most other brunch menus. The Wild Boar Agnolotti is also very good. If the Chicken Soup with Ravioli is offered as a daily special, I highly recommend you try it! And last, but not least, one amazing desert option I haven't seen before was the chocolate charcuterie. It does not fail to disappoint with the variety of chocolate deserts on there.

Evan Cole

Veramente spettacolare ;) Visited this restaurant one Sunday afternoon to catch up with a friend and this place really hit the spot. Inviting ambiance and not pretentious, the service was attentive and hospitable, the food was very tasty–they have this chocolate charcuterie board that is a must try if you have a sweet tooth. Great experience overall, definitely visiting again!

Owais Ahmed

Came here and got seats in their patio. Service was quick and food was great overall. They have a good selection of food and dessert. The Margarita pizza was very good and the Fritelle dessert was amazing! Would definitely come back here again to try some of the other items on their menu. Highly recommend.

Scott Wonnell

Brunch was good. Nice selection of options but not too many.

Carina Ck

Excellent food, service and ambiance! I really love this place.

Tom Caringi

Everything was amazing. The homefries are the best I've ever had and I eat alot of potatoes. All my ladies had fun. We will definitely come back!!

Sarah Z

I am a regular at Capra’s. Consistently delicious food, impeccable service and perfect ambiance. I would recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment. We have suggested this place to many people and always thanked for the recommendation. We have had a few repeat severs and they are amazing. There is a gentleman (can’t remember his name) who always makes sure he comes around and thanks us for our patronage and asks us about our meal. And if you’re lucky you might see Massimo while there. We decided to check out the New Years Eve special and it was amazing!

Kate M

Love Capra's! Always good food and service.

Jhuma Dutta

I'm one of those people who NEVER waste food! I left the food here, and so did 5 of my friends. Reason? It tastes DISGUSTING! We ordered pastas, pizzas, rissoto..u name it...and everything tasted so bad! Its astonishing how this place has a 4.5 rating??? I guess they had an amazing chef who must've quit lol... NEVER going back, never recommending to any friend.

Darla Howard

Amazing food and amazing hospitality, the manager was very kind and kept checking with us every 15 mins if we need anything. The food was exceptional.. We ordered beet root risotto, ravioli, salmon and Bolognese pasta. The risotto was something new and I was skeptical about beet root in it but it turned out to be very nice and tasted surprisingly very good..!! They also gave us famous Italian lemon liquor shots complimentary in the end. Over all 5 out of five for food, service, ambience and quality. Kindly go and support them..!!

Michael H.

Quality of food excels the standard italian dishes.Generally a different sauce to go with it! Somewhat experimentally designed and tried and tested by owner for that particular dish served with possibly an added ingredient etc.? Basically to change it up compared to the normal faire in reg. Italian restaurants. Nice touch!

Sandhya Papineau

We found the place by fluke while looking for ‘best brunches in Mississauga’ on google. I had the beet risotto and was delicious I finished that so fast!! Service was great our server who was amazing. What disappointed me is the Chef (Massimo) himself wasn’t very friendly. He was just too busy cleaning table out and trying to get as many people in as he could. He came by our table not to check in with us but to ask us if we were done and grabbed the empty dishes. I get business is important but it would have been nice to get a smile out of him. We are used to much friendlier service I guess. I don’t think we will be returning for this reason. But food is good!

Karina Nalbandyan

The food was absolutely incredible. The wait staff was fun and made the experience that much better. Every single bite of food I had here was fantastic. I will 100% come back again

Bryan L

The quality of the pasta has really gone downhill. When they first opened, it was delicious and fresh. The sauces and pasta all seem cheap now. The menu says fresh pasta for some dishes, but it certainly didn't taste that way. The ravioli tasted like it came out of a can. Extremely disappointed.

Taylor Carr

I've tried this Italian restaurant for the first time and at first I was disappointed looking at the quantity for the price but after tasting the food I loved it! This is one of those places where you pay for the quality. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I'll be going back for sure as well :)

Simon Huang

I eat here quite often. Since the restaurant opened, I have had consistent quality in the food, and great service. I also mostly dine here alone. Each server has treated me with the utmost respect. I am never rushed, and I feel comfortable in the environment. I love when Chef Massimo is around. You can tell that he loves this place and appreciates the patrons. Sometimes I've been greeted by Massimo, and I feel star struck each time ???? The labneh is the dish that keeps me coming back. I crave it. It is consistent in taste and presentation.
