I held my birthday dinner here, our waiter was personable, knew his wines, was quick to get food out. The food itself was fresh, and tasted great. I would recommend this place to others as well. I liked the layout of the restaurant as well. But above all else I valued the customer service from our waiter who personalized our evening making witty jokes and for his recommendations on our meal.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. You wouldn't think it from the exterior, but don't let that bias you. This place is the best. Not just in the area...I'm talking about anywhere. This is what I expect when I want steak and seafood. Dining is not rushed, it's an experience. The service is incredibly attentive and friendly. The best part: the food. It's ridiculous how good it all is. Don't fill up on the amazing garlic bread and pickles. Definitely try the oysters Rockefeller to start. I generally get a steak and lobster or crab legs. The portions are massive and the price is worth it. My favourite thing is the consistency. My family generally has a get together here for special occasions, maybe 3 - 4 times a year. Everything always tastes the way you remember it. In many years of ordering, my steak has always been perfectly cooked. I hope they stay forever.

Have been coming here for years as an alternative to Topiarys or La Castile. Excellent food and service. The rib steak is the best and the garlic bread as has been previously posted. The comparison of this place to the Keg or Moxies is ridiculous. This is far better than any chain.

I know there are a number of great reviews for this restaurant however I will never go back. The food was substandard at best and it's pricey, some of it came to the table cold, the decor is a throwback to the 70's, when I went to pull the chair out to sit down it was sticky..not a great experience.

Family owned and run Greek tableside service. Delicious food and friendly staff. Absoulty love coming here for an evening out any might of the week. I'm in love with their table side caesar salad and their two desserts (cherries jubilee and crepes suzette) since you don't see that level of skill or dedication in similarly priced restaurants.

Ate there last week for my 25th anniv...great ceasar salad but the rest was horrible. Had chicken Neptune and was extremely salty...think maybe they forgot to rinse the crab of its salt water??. And I'm a salt addict.Veggies had some horrible cheese like sauce and was soggy. Even the rice had a weird flavour. Nice seating near the fireplace..a bit old in decore. Husband did enjoy his peppercorn steak. First time there and most likely the last. Next time back to Le Castile more bang for your buck and a much better meal.

I’ve been going here for years with my family. The last couple of visits were below satisfactory. The vegetables were cold, the steak was average and there was a bread bag tab in my dad’s salad! When we told the waitress she responded by saying, “that’s weird since we don’t have bread from bags.” When I commented that maybe it was from a milk bag she said, “oh” and walked away. I think we’ll try another steakhouse next time.

My husband took me here for my birthday, and I absolutely loved it. The service was amazing, the appetizers were very fresh. The only issue was that the lobster wasn’t as fresh as I would’ve liked. But besides that I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and I will be coming again. If you do plan on coming here, just know it is pricey but worth it.

Worst Christmas dinner ever, paid over $350 for utter garbage, no Roast potatoes, cold mashed potatoes, over cooked and under cooked meats, turkey was horrendous, no desert, empty no one replaced it. Not very clean, think health and safety need to pay visit, will never be back, rude waiters, slamming down plates every min, couldn't even order more drinks.

First off... for $46 shrimp scampi you would expect your shrimp to be hot... they were cold.. & tasteless! Everything on my plate was cold from the shrimp, rice and veggies. Food was tasteless and needed seasoning or salt. Clam chowder soup... no clams.. waiters scream across tables.. which startles you. Waitress brings out salad.. leaves it on another table.. had to wait forever to get our bill. Not what we expected at all!! & for a $150 bill... very disappointing!!

Was ok. Peppered steak was ordered medium-rare and received medium-well-done. Service is very good. Atmosphere is very nice. Went with a group for a celebration. Garlic shrimp was fantastic. Nice to dip with the garlic bread. Calamari was good. Caesar salad was authentic with lots of fresh garlic. Espresso wasn't too good... Not sure what beans they use but I wouldn't recommend ordering it. Might go back, but would go to The Keg first.

I read reviews prior to going so my expectations weren’t that high. The decor is outdated, a little bit dirty even. I had two fruit flies in my drink and a spider on my table. The food was okay, or really the scallops were okay. All the effort is put into the seafood or meat and the sides end up being kinda lame, the sides being boiled carrots, broccoli, and unseasoned rice. For the prices you would think the sides and the limp lettuce salad would be a bit better. Probably wouldn’t visit again.

Oh my goodness, what a find this was for us! The service was wonderful, the setting was nice (dated but expected) and the food was UNBELIEVABLE!!! Like, I can't stop raving about HOW good it was. We had the fisherman's platter, the seafood was so fresh and amazing. We also had a rib eye and let me tell you, melt in your mouth good. The starter we had was oysters, they were so fast to come out to our table, it was awesome. Also awesome? The bread that you get when you arrive, to die for. Totally would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dinner at a reasonable cost. WORTH IT!!!

The service was great in the beginning of the meal but super slow as the meal wore in. No drink menu was provided they chose what we drank offer one cocktail idea. The food was tasteless to say the least. Also they made the Caesar salad in front of us on a dirty old wooden cart and left it sitting on the cart in the walkway with people coming and going passing the salad each time. One of our guest witnessed the server roll his eyes when asked to return the steak because it was to raw while another guest waited for about 15 minutes for mushrooms that were to go with the steak already served. We were all disappointed with so many things this is just a small exert. I would never recommend this place. Too much money and so much disappointment.

The steak was good but the sheeshkabobs were very bad and burnt. I don't understand how can they serve burnt kabobs to thier customers. The server was impolite. I was eating bread and he took my plate away to serve me salad without asking me first. It was very rude if him. When I told him I was still eating he was not even sorry. Aristotles is a fine dining restaurant, which naturally makes it a bit pricy. My family has been coming here for many years for special occasions, it has always been fantastic but we have noticed that it's been going down hill for a number of years. Many of the old staff have retired, the new staff do not seem to have the same love and passion. Food comes undercooked (or raw even) or over cooked and tough. New year's used to be fantastic. Lots of people, great atmosphere. Last several years they got rid of party favors and now only a few tables stay. We really miss too old restaurant and staff and the quality it used to have.

Went on April 10th for my anniversary. Overall, very disappointed. The decorations is very outdated and messy, my menu was filled with bread crumbs. Only two beers on draft and only two wines offered by the glass (all others by the bottle). The service was just plain bad. Our server didn't even tell us his name. I ordered a steak which was cooked to order and the lobster was made well however the baked potato was lackluster and vegetables bland. When we ordered our food our server didn't even tell us what it came with. Had to call him back and ask then he's said you have the choice of rice, french fries or baked potato. If I hadn't called him back what would he have brought me as a side? Also find it strange that two different proteins came with the same vegetables which were boiled baby carrots. Had the tiramisu for dessert which must have been the worst tiramisu I've had in my life, it was not real tiramisu just a sponge cake with icing. Certainly will not be going back.

Last night three of us went there and we were not very pleased with the platter for two $ 170.00 the crabs were really saltish and were soaking wet. When we complained the waiter said sorry and he took only $ 20.00 off from the price a $ 170.00 . Otherwise scallops and lobster was good and steak was ok. Also waiter forgetting the order items and we had remind him for our bake potato. Not so good service.

First time visiting this place and it was Great! The servers were great (2 older gentlemen, 1serving food and the other serving drinks but when it got busy for the food server the other stepped in to assist), the food was amazing and not that high priced except for the Fisherman's plate I think that was a little too expensive for what was presented (see below), a little wait for our meals but it was worth the wait, all the dishes we ordered were exceptional except of course for the sides and salads which could do with a bit more effort. I find it inadmissible to serve days old rice as side dish to an above average price for a dinner...it was sour to be more exact, so I assume it was made long before it was made. Salad was good, yes, but let's be honest, an iceberg salad with a poured sauce on top anyone can make... don't have to be a chef for that. Went once and won't come back again.

We have been going there for almost 30 years and always order the prime rib (Aristotle's Cut shown in photo). Bring your appetite but don't try to eat everything given to you. It's too much food but left overs are great for lunch the next day. Pints of beer are small but they do fill it to the top.

Excellent job on proteins, especially steaks. Rice and veggies are uninteresting, with no apparent effort made. A scoop of tasteless rice with steamed veggies, zero herbs or technique. A little effort on those side items would bring this review to 5 stars. Great decor, atmosphere, inconsistent service but usually good. Clean, tons of free parking.

Meh. Parking lot patio rather bleak...waiter wearing a customized embroidered mask with a VENT! (Useless to protect patrons) NO REQUEST for contact tracing of EACH of our party of 6. Soggy soppy veal parm and THAT tasteless rice another reviewer mentioned. I’m sorry, your menu and it’s extremely elevated prices don’t suit your lack of investment in the food & Covid-safety. PS. Just picked up our 2 two piece halibut and chips order for a whopping $63. Take a good look at the pictures folks!! Let me summarize: size of the halibut were approx 4" square. Maybe a small handful of fries and a less than 1/3 of a tiny container of coleslaw. Called to speak to Mgr....still waiting for my callback. At a time like this, where we should be helping each other rather than taking advantage, Aristotles should be ashamed of themselves!!!

My husband and I we had dinner here last night we get food poisoning from the Aristotles fish platter that cost $200 , very dirty restaurant, my salad had a pice of plastic blend in. I informed the server she told me that the glass of wine that my husband order is free, but she didn't change the salad I didn't care for the free wine glass,so this is not fine dining this is food poisoning dining for expensive price. Bad service bad food, will never go here again.

Unfortunately no longer on our dinner list. Service was okay. Caesar was excellent but small. Chicken Marsala was decent, rice was cold. Waiter took our plates to the kitchen and brought them back a few minutes later without the rice, which then came out much warmer and now had some of the Marsala sauce added. Fish had bones and no sauce or flavor. Not the most memorable Birthday dinner....Thumbs Down

Disappointing experience overall. I took the time to make a reservation (and confirm reservation a day prior) and upon entering was told I was an hour and a half late. The specific table I reserved was obviously given to what appeared to be regular customers. The food was average and for a Steak and Seafood restaurant the kitchen definitely does not know how to cook a steak, had to send back and even still was not cooked as requested. We were given 2 complimentary drinks after dinner to acknowledge the poorly cooked steak, I would rather have had an enjoyable steak. Seafood was adequate and portions were large. I always try to support local business establishments but would definitely not return or recommend this establishment, and they don't appear to care about retaining new customers. Should have walked out and gone to the Keg, at least I would have known to expect a mediocre meal there. Take a pass on this place.

The Welcoming wasn’t so welcoming, when I made reservation over a week ago, on line, I stated I would like to be close to the fire place, as it was my husbands birthday. When he seated us, far away from the fire place, I told the waiter that I had booked this over a week ago and he said, other people booked over a month ago . Other then that little episode, the waiter we had was very nice, very friendly and the atmosphere and the food couldn’t have been better. It’s was perfect, large portions!

Brought my girlfriend here for our anniversary. This restauraunt is fantastic for the food and service! Very generous portions with quality food. The waiters treated us with comfort and respect. If you are looking for a new place to try this is it! The interior decor had my girlfriend wanting to take pictures of everything. Oh and dont forget the unlimited hot bread that was to die for. I beleive that I needed to write a review on this restauraunt because I have never experienced such sevice and delightful food. I ordered a rare steak and it came out medium, which was tolerable but not ideal; however, the exterior of the meat was well beyond charred and made the taste of the meat somewhat unappealing. For a steakhouse this seems like something they should have dialed-in and not have allowed this error to leave the kitchen. The waitress we had seemed to have an issue recalling who ordered what, as indicated by bringing incorrect dishes to the table. Overall, the experience was neither wonderful, nor overly deterring. I would recommend only if other steakhouses were booked full. To add, the cost of the meals relative to the plated food left me wondering how many people make return visits.

Wow, what an amazing experience! My fiance - now wife - and I had our small covid wedding yesterday with our small party and were looking for a place to accommodate us on a patio. I called Aristotles the day before and asked to reserve the patio for our party of 8. The server suggested we come inside since they are allowed 10 people, and so we did! Nick was a fantastic, accommodating server, and the food was delicious! The calamari was perfectly breaded, my Rib eye steak was so flavourful and delicious, and my wife's petit filet was delicious. Everyone else was very happy and impressed with their meals, from the Chicken Marsala, Veal Parm, Peppercorn steak and roast beef. Nick was also very attentive and took great care of us. It really was a perfect end to our day and we will definitely come back to enjoy their dinner menu next.

Awesome as always. Been going here since they opened many years ago. Never a disappointment, always a super meal and great service. By far they beat the Keg, on most cases the prices are equal but you get way more bang for your buck here and it's cozy and intimate, not noisy like the Keg always is. Plus they will take a reservation at any time.

I had waited a long time to come here as I grew up in the area but had never been to Aristotles before and I was actually disappointed. This place claims to be "fine dining" but I think that was when they first opened as they aren't even close anymore! I called to make a reservation for two for 7pm on Saturday April 29th and we arrived on time and were told to wait in the dark empty bar with no bartender in sight (they don't have one) and not even offered a drink while we waited and we sat in these old musty chairs in the dark, I was not impressed but my husband told me the food would make up for it so I shut up. We get to our table and we are seated near this counter that has dirty dishes on it the entire time we were seated (not the atmosphere for fine dining) and handed menu's, a drink order was taken and then I noticed a hair on our white table cloth which was gross but still trying to be positive and then I opened my menu to find blue fuzzy mold! Still trying to not be too harsh I zipped my lip and proceeded to order, we got the calamari to start, I ordered the filet mignon medium rare with a side of bernaise I had to ask 3 times for, and my husband got crab legs and the prime rib. The food was actually awful! The calamari was the same as It is at any other place, the garlic bread that comes with the meal was greasy, the filet mignon was over cooked I asked for medium rare and got medium, and the flavor was terrible! The sauce on the veggies seemed like a hollandaise and when I ordered bernaise for the steak I got the same sauce that was on my vegetables and let me tell you it was NOT bernaise!! it was gross! My husbands prime rib had a terrible after taste however he said the crab legs were good. We wrapped up what was left so we didn't seem rude however it was tossed when we got home, and when it came time to pay for the bill it seems we were forgotten as we sat there for a while and nobody noticed us. We finally paid our $250 bill and left and talked the whole way back to Milton about what a disappointment this was! We won't be back!

Love the way they prepare the Caesar salad table side it's so delicious. The steaks and main courses here are to die for not to mention the huge pickles my daughter loves haha. If your in the area I would definitely go to this place the setting is very nice along with a very dedicated well mannered staff.

They were friendly, but unorganized. Tacky decorations and lots of light bulbs were out. Ordered filet mignon which was excellent, but sides were way below average. Ordered the sea food platter and nothing was seasoned. The lobster was inedible! For the first time in my life I waisted a lobster tail. The shrimp were enormous, but not seasoned and overcooked. Dipping butter had no seasoning either so it was just bland! Worst seafood meal I've ever had and paid a fortune for it. Your better off going to a red lobster or just cook at home like I do.

This restaurant has a 4.3 and is considered “fine dining”... but I wouldn’t consider it to be either quality. The service was below average-forgetting orders, long wait times, making faces when asked to cook steak longer. In general, a really disappointing experience. My personal steak was charred on the outside, a steak should be juicy and delicious which this was not. I asked for milk for my tea 5 times, and they came out with a tall glass of milk which I had to then dump into my already cold tea. If your looking for a “fine dining” experience, take your money elsewhere because this isn’t it.

Best restaurant & best hand made ceaser in the gta better than la castle, zorros, the octagon, and black Angus etc. Been going for 20 years and out of 100 visits 98 have been nothing more than perfection. Steaks seafood and prime rib are insane huge sizes and A+++++ quality. Cost about the same as the keg but the food and service are second to non. I usually go during the week for dinner with the wife she has a gluten allergy and she has never gotten sick from eating here.

First time attending Aristotle's. Located in a strip plaza near a residential area, this restaurant is a little harder to find. Its also located at the far west end of Mississauga. Decor was unique; much brighter with more decoration that your average steakhouse. Service was very good. Had the rib steak which wss cooked perfectly. The cooked veggies still had a nice snap to them. The included salad was not huge but perfect for the portion sizes of the main meal. Considering the fine dining nature of the restaurant, Aristotle's was very affordable compared to its competition. If you are in the area, give Aristotle's a try!

I've been coming here on occasion for years for good seafood, which remains good. What's consistently been disappointing is the level of service for how this place brands itself. It is not a true fine dining experience and the restaurant calling itself as such leads to disappointment. For example, staff by the bar yell in the restaurant, staff clean up plates by loudly tossing them on a stand in the middle of the dining room, throw cutlery around in a loud and acoustically painful manner, and serve baked potato in a tin foil which they prop open with their bare hands in front of you! I had alaska crab legs today ($85) which was good quality but unfortunately smaller pieces were over cooked. For that price, I expect perfection. No one even asked me how my meal was - just served the food and walked away. Salad left a lot to be desired. My husbands bottled beer was very old tasting - which was served with a dripping wet glass from the bar and not poured for him. Dessert was store bought. I really think that this place either has to take their service up a few notches or stop calling themselves "fine dining" and perhaps just go with a regular restaurant title, and adjust their prices accordingly.

I had my mom's 60th birthday dinner here... we had 1 good waiter who was a female and the male waiter did not know what he was doing... the food was horrible and not well cooked. For the amount of money it cost for the food I was absolutely disgusted with what was presented. over cooked steak and undercooked steak. burnt ribs and the list could go on. I do not recommend this restaurant

My husband and I used to go every year for our anniversary dinner (15+ years), and decided to try New Year's Eve. Totally regret doing that as they rushed us in and out. Can you believe $200 dinner and we were seated, rushed through appetizers and dinner, paid and all that in 45 minutes. You expect that from a fast food restaurant not a fine dining restaurant. We will never go back after that experience. Such a shame. Reached out to the manager, and no response back. Shame on you Aristotles.

We absolutely adore this place. When we lived in Mississauga, this was our go to restaurant for great dining on special occasions or when we wanted to treat ourselves. We have had family Easter dinner there as well as birthdays and our Wedding reception. The people are fantastic, welcoming, knowledgeable, professional and they will make every accommodation for you that they possibly can. My husband and I like to go there and treat ourselves to the Chateaubriand for two, this is served and carved at your table, making your meal extra special. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant as a place to go for an exceptional dining experience.

Had a few parties there that went off without a hitch. Amazing staff and the food is always spot on. Great homey feel and comfortable setting. Best steak I’ve ever had and the chaser salad is unbelievable. Have never left without a box full of leftovers. The portions are huge. Overall can’t say a bad thing about the place. Great place to hold a party or a date night out.

My husband and I went there for our wedding anniversary and I have to say it was not what I read about or expected. It was probably one of the worst meals I have had in a very long time. I have been to this resturant in the past and I must say it has gone down hill. I would not waste your money on this resturant and find another local resturant to go to instead of here. I totally support dinning but never here again. The salad was a joke it was lettuce and a bit of red cabbage and needless to say the meal itself all that we could taste was SALT. Sad to say will never eat here again.
