Really enjoyed lunch at Vera Kitchen & Bar. I had a friend in town from Ottawa and asked around for a lunch and drinks recommendation. My uncle pointed me here. As good or better than similar spots I've been to in Fredericton, Ottawa, DC, etc.

Great place for drinks, light fare, and good conversations. The Stuffed mushrooms and the lobster mac and cheese are delightful. I brought colleagues from Ottawa and they thoroughly enjoyed the food and environment. Beautiful views from both the patio and inside the restaurant. We happened to drop in during a lightning storm and got quite the show. Great staff who take good care of patrons.

Nice spot but service was not great. My food arrived after my friends had finished eating. My wife's arrived as we were leaving, and wasn't what she ordered. Sad as people who had arrived well after us received the same food well before our orders arrived. It happens, but to then discount an incorrect order that arrived as you are leaving by a whole 10% is an insult. Will not likely return other than for possibly a drink if friends want to go there.

Absolutely enjoyable! Little hidden place behind a park with a waterfront terrasse. Staff & service are great! And the food!!! We shared leak-cream mussels + lobsters crisps + proscuito-pear pizza and we deeply enjoyed it all! The detour was so worth it!
