It was a great feed, but my burger and my father's burger got switched he ordered an ultimate burger and I ordered a 1/4 flamethrower burger it was great. It was a long wait for my order at peak lunch hour. But the food was hot and good the shakes we're cold and thick.

Old fashion grilled food on an actual grill in front of you, all is made fresh ( within the hour at the very most). Their ice cream, parfaits, sundaes, and blizzards are top notch. Decor and uniforms are dated and the store has not had a renovation since I've been going there, roughly 15 years or more.

Always make sure you get everything you order, especially when in the drive-through! You also have to ask for condiments, fries were served cold tonight and we couldn't eat them. Burgers are usually great and the kids love the chicken.

My boyfriend and i decided to go in and grab some lunch before we went back home, everybody there was nice to us however, we watched a woman cross contaminate the burgers while cooking them. She touched the cooked meat onto the raw meat with the same pair of tongs, i worked in a few fast food places myself (my job included cooking hamburger patties) doing this can make somebody very sick & it is a violation of the health safety code of conduct. Maybe she just wasnt trained properly, but it is a health hazard that they should become aware of:)

Was just at the Parry Sound Dairy Queen with my Uncle. We went through the drive thru. He specifically asked for a one litre of fresh soft serve chocolate ice cream. Person said one moment. When they came back they said yes that they had that. We get home with it to find that it was hard ice cream that had been in the freezer for quite some time. Nothing fresh about it. He drove back to exchange it...they tell him that's all they have. He said he should have been told then and not sold something he didn't want. They said they were very busy at that time. (We were the only car in the drive thru and the parking lot was very empty)

If you read any of my other reviews of Dairy Queen visits, you'll see I LOVE them. While the customer service was very good, the food was not. The fries were old and cold, the burger patties were over charred and cold ( 1/2 pound Flame thrower) and my Skor blizzard was lacking in actual prices of Skor. To be fair, I wasn't able to complain and allow them to make it right ( I had take out) and I was 5 minutes away before I tried my food. I've had fries from other locations that were piping hot 15 minutes after my departure, same for the burger. Maybe because it was a slow day i got some older food ( they pre cook their patties) but the Blizzard was just skimped on. I hope my next visit is a better experience.

Was there during long weekend. Wasn't that busy. Ordered a burger. Watched the clock on the order screen go from 5 min to 10 min. At 12 min I asked to speak to the manager. I didn't know why it would take that long. Her response was that it was coming and it's not like they are just standing around doing nothing. I deal with customers every day and I wouldn't tell any customer that. Would not go back there.

I'm not sure if it was just a bad night, but wow did it ever take long to get a few simple items. I think 20 minutes is kind of a long time to wait for 2 blizzards, a small sundae and a cheeseburger. The restaurant had emptied out and people who ordered after us got their items first. I'm not sure what happened, but I was left pretty disappointed, angry and unimpressed. We don't have plans to return unless we don't have the kids with us and we are desperate.

December 1st, my boyfriend & I went into Dairy Queen. There was ONE other person in the store ordering. I placed my order at 4:18PM, and the lady ordered at the cash beside me, ordering literally the same thing. We sat at the table for 15 MINUTES before our food was brought over. He bit into his cheeseburger to find out it was ICE COLD. I returned it to the counter, and very politely asked for a warm burger whenever she got a chance. I even said please and thank you! The girl was exchanging cash, then proceeded to take the burger, without washing her hands and MICROWAVED IT, returning the semi-warm cheeseburger back to the table. Now, on top of the poor quality of food, while waiting for my food, and watching it being made, I couldn’t help but notice the male cashier handled money, then turned around to prepare food without washing his hands. I also couldn’t help but notice that apparently hairnet regulations don’t apply here? Hair being tied up on top of your head doesn’t stop it from falling out. Anyway! My boyfriend filed a very formal and professional compliant. The response he got? “OK, I think I can make you out. Is your fiancé Hailey Storey ?” What does me being his girlfriend have to do with the nature of his compliant?

Probably the worst Dairy Queen I have ever had. There service is terrible, and slow, despite having a abundance of staff working. We waited 5 minutes for our food, as we watched it sitting under the heater. It was just me and my spouse inside. I ordered chicken fingers and fries, when I got them, they were old, cold and soggy. After biting into one of the chicken fingers, it tasted and smelled like dog food. It was disgusting !

Parry Sound has limited fast food restaurants but this one is away from the others. Best to take the Parry sound Drive exit. It has lots of sit down booths/tables and offers burgers, etc. as well as ice cream I think this is one of the better Dairy Queens that we have eaten in. Parking is good and you can exit to the side street to take advantage of the stop light.

The Dairy Queen in Parry Sound is stingy n cheap with their servings. We asked for and paid extra for caramel on the Sundae and there was barely even sny caramel on it. The banana split had hardly any ice cream in it or toppings. We were very disappointed with what we were served at the Parry Sound Dairy Queen location. We will not be going back there. Sorry we could not give you a better review.

This Dairy Queen seemed very dirty and unorganized with the COVID-19 precautuons. The Blizzards were melted and the staff seemed uninterested on their job. I was asked if i wanted a receipt, I said yes and was not given the right receipt, also had to ask for the straw for our Slushie I predict the following response: -- "we are sorry to hear about your experiance. The site needs to be updated for hours of operations. The web states they are open until 10pm, I visited the location at 805 this evening to place an order, and after entering the location and standing in line, an employee told me that they close at 8 o'clock. We came from bathurst to have an ice cream and grab an ice cream cake for home. There was no ice cream cakes in the freezer at all. While ordering our ice cream we watched workers standing around talking trash about other workers while they could have been making ice cream cakes. We received our ice cream not knowing which was which. The ice cream was more of a soup then actual ice cream. The service following wasnt any better. Wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here.

Hours posted say open til 9. Went at 8:15 and drive thru was closed for some reason? I was not able to go to the door to see if the store was in fact open as it's suppsoed to be, as I had my pup in the vehicle. I waited another 15 min, when 3 more people arrived after me, and got served... when 2 more people arrived, and I saw that my orders was not even started, I asked for my money back. Will not be returning to DQ again. Third time in a row they got my order wrong. Second time I called to get it rectified and they made note. Returned the third time to get the credit I was told I would get and they got that order wrong too. I wont name names but its the same guy each time who served me. He seems confused with whats happening around him. Its a shame because the foods good they just cant get the orders right. Poorly managed location go elsewhere for fast food.

We ordered 2 blizzards and didn't order anything for our 3 year old son. Since no one was behind us we asked at the window to add a smoothie. The face and attitude of the young blond girl at the window was unacceptable in my mind. She then made the smoothie while angerly banging everything around and stopped the other co-worker that was bringing our blizzards to clearly complain. We never would have added anything if there was a line-up. She needs a reminder that if people don't buy she won't have a job. We frequently visit this DQ and if this is the service we ever get again we won't be visiting in the future.

Was excited to get fresh food as I watched them put my burger on the grill. Watched it catch fire twice because the staff just didn't care. Took about 25 minutes to get a burger and some deep fried chicken. Only two food orders were even made. During that time. Burger was burnt to a crisp. Love DQ but this location was horrible.

Not impressed. Completely messed up my order, charged me a lot more than it should have been. It took three tries to get it right. I'm sorry, but if you are working the cash at a restaurant, you need to be able to understand either English or French. Great to hire someone without either language, but put them in the kitchen, not the cash. Food was standard DQ, no complaints once I got what I ordered.

Coming from kitchener going to sudbury we decided to try Dairy Queen in Parry Soundfor lunch and bring home supper. We were Rushed to read menu which is very hard to see at the angle its positioned and order. We had a hard time understanding and hearing the order person Under pressure we quickly picked 2 hamburger meals, asked for salt and ketchup , ordered 3 chicken burgers. We paid Close to 50$!! CRAZY ! I would have gotten pizza or a Steak Paid for order at 1st window, informed at 2nd window that ""I'm sorry but" "chicken wasn't ready, would be in 3min ,could you please pull over to the side and I will bring it out to you" Sure,why not? What's another notch? COULD YOU PLEASE PUT SOME SALT AND KETCHUP IN THE BAG? "Oh,Sure As we try to pull around to park, curb is in the way , it's to close to building for vehicles to make a turn and not marked.we we "had to" drive over the curb ,low and behold a car parked , we had to back up to make it around the car. NOW! Back to the chicken burger ???? It was a long ..... 3min 15min later .... As we're driving up the hiway to Sudbury, I'm wanting a "fry" fry,KETCHUP and SALT ( in that order) GUESS WHAT ! grrrrrrr no KETCHUP, no SALT Poor poor poor Canada

I love it when I'm made to feel like junk when ordering food at the drive through. It's my favorite to actually hear the in the voice of the person at the other end of the speaker... Or the "drop your hands in mini protest" after I ask for a lid for the Peanut Buster Parfaits. I never have a problem spending money on something good or on excellent service, but sadly Dairy Queen hasn't had either one of those elements in quite some time. The unfortunate thing is that it's happened several times, if not all the time I visit DQ; from a $20 order (3 sundaes) or 3 combos and desserts (~$65 order), they always seem to be consistently annoyed with anything I order. Listen, I'm never one to write a bad review, but in this case, I have honestly waited for the situation to better itself, and it never has. Really disappointing.

Wonderful food! Everything was great...except, whomever supplies the salad mix uses a preservative with that tell-tale taste which I am not a fan of. The Blizzards were great - mine was candy floss. The guys had a variety of burgers. Staff at the drive-thru were very nice and the order was correct. We have visited this location for about 30 years but maybe once or twice a year.
