Service was slow, and not friendly. Ordered chicken fingers and fries. The chicken had a strange taste so I didn't eat it. I also didn't want to make a fuss but the server asked why it was uneaten. She was then defensive and rude, saying i was lying, and begrudgingly said she would only charge me 50% I just wanted to pay and leave but she wouldn't drop it. They really need to work on the customer service .

Every time I get a chance to come to Midland I always try to come to Minji's for breakfast. Excellent food and good service. Start the day right!

I would say the service was horrid, if I actually was ever served. The table of four next to us sat for 40 minutes before getting their food... oh wait, they never received their food. They got up and left because after their order was taken no one ever returned to their table with food. When they left angry we over heard a waitress say to one another that they thought they had already ate and were done. Neither questioned why they had no dirty plates. Then the old couple behind us, they had come in behind us and the table of four. They did however receive most of their food. They waited on a toasted western to go. After thirty minutes they decided to go up and ask about it. They were told it would be five minutes. I have made toasted westerns before, it does not take 35 minutes. Then our experience, took we waited a half hour before just getting annoyed and going up and ordering at the counter with what I assume was the owner. Then another half hour before like all the others around us decided to just get up and leave. I highly suspect they never even started our food. If they can not handle multiple tables at once, I suggest they downsize. I also suspect that other tables around us were also suffering from being ignored. We did not notice ANYONE at a table of six being served at all. They were there when we entered, and when we left. I believe them to have a powerful sense of patience. I do not know who is to blame for this all, could be the servers, could be the cooks. could be the management. Really I don't care whose fault it is, but someone working there with any sense of how to work not just in the service industry, but in a restaurant REALLY needs to grab the reins and steer this place out of the cesspool it's taking a ride through. The only enjoyable part of eating here was the comradery among the people who like us were suffering from a horrible experience. If there is one thing Min-jis is five star at, it's unifying people with common hatred. And if you're looking for a review and you've seen positive ones for Min-ji's and this is a lone bad review, please take into consideration that this is the review of nearly half the patrons present.

I have lived in the Midland area for years and passed Minji's so many times and never thought to check it out. I had heard good things but still never tried it. I finally decided to stop in and am glad I did. The food is made fresh and full of flavour. I have now ordered take out about 10 times and have been impressed every time. The portions are huge and everything I have tried has been great.

Excellent menu with generous portions. The Korean menu is fantastic and the hot stone Bibimbap and spicy bulgogi are delicious. Good service and friendly owners. It would be nice if they would use something other than Styrofoam for takeout containers though.

Horrible Philly steak on a bun. It was so soggy I couldn't eat it. When I told the lady that was the only one working (took her half hour just to take our drink order) she threw her arms in the air like "oh well" Was terrible service n food n I will not go back! To the owners... Try to make the customer always happy! I didn't eat one bite of your "Philly steak n processed cheese you shouldnt have charged us for it! Very unhappy n hungry

Excellent multicultural cuisine! Featuring Korean, Mexican, and Canadian recipes. A positively relaxing dine-in experience, especially around the holidays. In my honest opinion, Minjis is the underrated people's champion of Midland.

Mom and pop type of restaurant. Older atmosphere. Good food good variety. Prices have increased a bit because of covid. But still fair. Take out still until restrictions lift. I believe it is up for sale. Nice experience.

My family and I have gone to Minjis many times for their breakfast which is for the most part very good. I have tried their lunch twice and both times there was absolutely no flavour in the food I had ordered. The first being their burrito and the second a hot bowl. When I confronted the owners about this they were not apologetic and were very defensive. I personally will not be back because of the attitude of the owners.

We had an excellent experience ordering a delicious vegan lunch from Minji’s today. The restaurant was very accommodating and made us a delicious tofu box. The amount of food was impressive, as well as the flavour and freshness. The tofu was medium firm and lightly battered, on a bed of crisp, stir fried vegetable medley and a very tasty teriyaki sauce. The box also came with vegetable dumplings (to die for), edamame beans, zucchini tempura, a fresh salad with a sesame vinaigrette that was incredible, along with a helping of fresh rice. We can’t wait to return for another tasty box! Thank you!

Horrible experience, food is good but service is TERRIBLE. They don't allow students to come in and order food, during lunch hours if you look like you could possibly cause trouble they tell you to leave so unless you look very preppy don't expect to eat at minjis, they have seats for students specifically so they can watch what we do. Very discriminating, overpriced, horrible service if I could write a lower review I would.

Great local eatery. Great find for breakfast. Yummy omelets and reasonable prices. Weekends are ridiculously busy but wait staff are wonderful and do the best they can. Lunch and dinner menu is varied and quite reasonable as well.

Love this place.. The korean dishes are amazing! We have gotten work lunches here, and everything has been excellent. The portions are great. The bugers, fish and chips, quesadillas, are all top notch. Cant go wrong with the selection. There is something for everyone!

There is a wide variety of food, with both Korean and North American menus, and everything I've had off both menus has been very good. I saw one of the owners help one of their customers outside to his mobility scooter, taking the time to ensure he was looked after and on his way before returning inside. You very rarely see that level of kindness. It was the bright spot of my day.

Extremely cold service, extremely bad food. To give you an idea, their idea of spicy was to blanket the food in black pepper. This may have been more forgivable at a lower price point, but this food ain’t cheap. Another minor complaint: Their menu sheds very little light on what you are getting. Most sensible places will at least list the main ingredients in the dishes, but this is a guessing game. The menu is pretty big so it makes deciding more difficult than it should be.

In Midland for a couple of years and tried Minji’s for the first time a month ago, then again Oct 2/20. Both times for wings as it’s a thing for me. First time, hottest version were good tho didn’t like the wing tips. Second time asked to make them hotter and remove wing tips - boom!!! Excellent and killer spicy. Will try other menu items soon. Recommend so far.

Great place. Friendly, prompt service, cozy small town feel. I recommend the Veggies Eggs Benedict. Flavourful veggies smothered in Hollandaise and Egg on an english muffin, with a cup of dragon fruit salad and crispy, well seasoned home fries. Big portions, reasonable cost.
