Salad rolls and peanut sauce were good. The bun bo hue I ordered was a little bland but otherwise decent. Food took a while to get, I phoned my order in and arrived at 20 minutes in the 15-20 min time frame they gave me and waited another 10 min before I got my food.

Great food. It's a small place in downtown and they are open at 11am. It's a gem in the rough. All good is made to order so give it a little time for the lunch to the table. You will not be disappointed tho.

Best Vietnamese restaurant in Southern Alberta. The food is always presented in reasonable time, properly priced, and terrific in taste. It's a must visit, conveniently placed in the downtown section of Medicine Hat. I've recommended all my friends to go for a quick bite. The customer service is excellent as well. Polite, friendly faces work the front and kitchen. My favorite Vietnamese Restaurant!

I do not get how people like this place and almost 5 stars., it was cold tasted like it was all reheated in a microwave, noodles were overdone like mush and the meat just tasted like a dirty grill. Service also sucked. There strawberry bubble tea was good but very small for 4.95. Will not go back.

It's 4 stars, but I'm feeling nice. The menu is simplify to match the small city pallet. It's missing some ingredients you would get else in authentic Vietnamese restaurant. No tripe, tendon or basil leaves. The food tasted okay and the older gentleman was very nice. The prices for a restaurant quality food is fantastic! It's not a bad options if you're in the Hat looking for Vietnamese cuisine, but temper your expectations if you're from a big city.

Incredible value. Large sized soups (feeds 2) for $11.00. Fresh ingredients, prepared quickly and all delicious. Sometimes parking can be a bit sketchy, but overall a tremendous experience. High chairs for kids... and the best salad rolls in Alberta.

As with every Vietnamese restaurant, I ordered my standard dish to measure it against others: rare beef noodle soup (#10 on their current menu). Much to my surprise, it was actually delicious. The cut of beef was just right, so when submerged in the hot soup, it remained soft. The noodles themselves were alright. The soup is where they lost some points as it did not have the full rich flavour I am accustomed to. Moreover, they had run out of bean sprouts and basil, which is a standard part of the rare beef noodle experience. Overall, still good food at an affordable price. The place is also clean, service is standard for a Viet noodle house.

Some of the best Vietnamese cuisine in Medicine Hat, I myself will only eat here and one other place in town; prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is consistently good. Staff is always very friendly and prompt to provide good service; don't judge it based on the appearance or location as it is well worth the visit.

A hidden gem restaurant in downtown Medicine Hat. Satisfying authentic Vietnamese food, made and served by a charmingly friendly family. I have been eating at Thuy Tien since they first opened and has exchanged hands over the years, yet the food has always been good. The chef makes the best spring rolls I've ever tasted. If you get nothing else from here try the spring rolls. One of the best restraunts in the city. Refreshing Bubble Teas and a variety of delicious dishes that I have trouble choosing just one :) The bathroom is always very clean, and the marble decor is very nice. One suggestion would be is to get more exposure by getting on the Internet to advertise or get connected with Skip the Dishes or another delivery service to make it easier for the consumer to access your wonderful food. Please stay open forever! I Love Thuy Tien Restaurant!

Worst Vietnamese food I have ever tried. Maybe they couldn't find fresh ingredients this week, or their regular chef was away? Tasted closer to cheap Chinese food than what I am used to for Vietnamese. Tried four dishes: two appetizers were ok, noodle and rice dishes were disappointing. Didn't try the soup. Restaurant was clean and in a good location. Staff were polite but not particularly friendly.

My friend and I, usually come here to have lunch or supper. I really love the food here, specially the special noodle, spring rolls, and their vermicelli noodles. The taste really blends well together, so when you take a bite its really flavourful. It was so funny, we often come here that the owner knew what we would want to eat and what we dont want on it.
