A little bit overrated, the food was not bad but it wasn't reflective of the high rating. I had one of the grilled cheese sandwiches, bacon and brie along with some kind of lunch meat (there may have been some spinach in there too if I remember correctly) and it was okay but not amazing. An intense smokey flavour but a little one note. Their beer was better, which makes sense, and my dad especially enjoyed their house made blonde beer. The lone waitress was doing her best but the place seemed to be quite understaffed and my family had to wait quite a long time to be seated upon entering the restaurant despite there being empty tables. The best thing about La Fabrique was the great indie classics playlist which contributed much to the ambiance.

A great place to enjoy in Matane. Friendly staff and good safety measures in place for the pandemic. The shrimp cocktail was delicious as Matane shrimps are a must in the region and the local beer was great as well! Highly recommend. Just make sure to plan for some time to wait as there are no reservation.

La gérante étant dans le dénie total, se disant ULTRA occupée, ne pouvant répondre au téléphone, alors qu'il y avaient que 6 tables occupées ... elle est même venu nous expliquer à la table son impossibilité de répondre au téléphone OUFFF. Donc mauvaise attitude pour quelqu'un qui pourrait mieux faire son travail ... désolé. Pas très fort. Donc, 3 étoiles au lieu de 5, pour cette raison.
