(Translated) Chef Fred de la Poutinerie offers more than 40 different poutines. Being a fan of Poutine Week, I can confirm that Chef Fred's poutines have nothing to envy when it comes to inventiveness. I tried the Mega Trip Bouff and I highly recommend it. A delicious and very original poutine. If possible, I suggest you change the sauce of this poutine for their BBQ sauce which is succulent. I also recommend the seafood poutine. If I'm not mistaken, the bechamel sauce has a little sweet twist, which makes it delicious. I also tried La Cochonne and Mac n Cheese and I recommend them too. Your choice will then be very difficult. You will therefore have to come back several times. The good news is that you will be greeted by very kind and courteous employees every time you visit. Unfortunately, I don't recommend the dessert poutine: when I tried it, the churros (and the bacon) were way too dry. You can't cut them with a fork or a spoon. Two other small caveats. First downside: the dining room is simple and perhaps unwelcoming for some. I therefore suggest that you take your poutine to go and eat it on the beach in the summer and weather permitting. Second downside: their dessert poutine is really popular, to the point where you have to call ahead the same day to find out if they have any. These poutines go very quickly. Étant un fan de la Semaine de la Poutine, je peux vous confirmer que les poutines du Chef Fred n’ont rien à leur envier au niveau de l’inventivité. J’ai essayé la Méga Trip Bouff et je vous la recommande fortement. Une poutine délicieuse et très originale. Si possible, je vous suggère de changer la sauce de cette poutine pour leur sauce BBQ qui est succulente. Je vous recommande également la poutine aux fruits de mer. Si je ne me trompe pas, la sauce béchamel a une petite twist sucrée, ce qui rend le tout délicieux. J’ai également goûté à la Cochonne et la Mac n Cheese et je vous les recommande également. Votre choix sera alors très difficile. Il vous faudra donc revenir plusieurs fois. La bonne nouvelle est que vous serez accueilli par des employés très gentils et courtois à chaque visite. Malheureusement, je vous déconseille la poutine dessert : lorsque je l’ai essayée, les churros (et le bacon) étaient beaucoup trop secs. Impossible de les couper à la fourchette ou à la cuillère. Deux autres petits bémols. Premier bémol : la salle à manger est simple et peut-être peu accueillante pour certains. Je vous suggère donc de prendre votre poutine pour emporter et de la manger sur la plage en été et si le temps le permet. Deuxième bémol : leur poutine dessert est vraiment populaire, au point où il faut appeler d’avance le jour même pour savoir s’ils en ont. Ces poutines partent très vites.

I can honestly say I am not a huge fan of Poutine but after eating here with my wife and kids I have been converted. Food was amazing gravy tasted amazing and portions are big. Would recommend to anyone.

BOOOOOOO... 10 to 30$ poutine. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT! First visit I ordered seafood poutine, 29.50$. Menu lists shrimp, crab and lobster meat. Portions are laughable, tiny shrimp (maybe canned), a couple of chunks of lobster and POLLOCK! Skip this place all together. ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!

The giant hot dog "poutine" - amazing, try it with the pepper sauce. The thing was as long as my forearm! The El Taco poutine was the best poutine I've ever eaten, the meat is perfectly spiced and just enough of all the other toppings to satisfy. The interior of the restaurant could use a bit of love (bench covers warn through, warped ceiling, lightbulbs needing changed), but we will definitely be going back to try more of the delicious options on their HUGE menu.

We stayed here overnight in order to catch the ferry from Matane to Godbout in the a morning. We were looking for a place for a quick bite and found this on Google maps. Overall, we were glad we came. There are about 4 to 5 tables then you can sit down at to eat. One thing you should remember when you order is to closely look at a size options. We were a family of five and ordered two meal sized poutines which proved to be too much for us. (We had 3 teenagers with medium appetites.). The leftovers were good though even into the next day. Our favorite was the pulled pork poutine but the seafood was quite good as well. There were lots of pulled pork and shrimp in the poutines. The only one thing we would suggest is enhancing the crispiness of the fries. Some of the fries tasted a bit too soggy. The salad meal was quite good and tasted very fresh. I probably would not get the popcorn chicken the next time around. It was not too busy when we went, but expect to wait about 10 minutes or so for your orders to be ready.

Amazing food, cute little restaurant, great/fast service and a big bonus for non French speaking tourists: they speak English very well! The food is fresh, tasty, fairly priced and fair portions. We will definitely come back after visiting Gaspe.

The small restaurant is not very visible from the street. The pulled pork poutine was soooo good!!!! Easily the best pulled pork poutine I had!! Make sure you go to the back store! As the front door is a hair dresser place.

They told me that my poutine was going to arrive a little after the others since the fries are cooked separately. Worst experience in life, very big allergy attack, I was sick like a dog for several days. (Original) Mes amis et moi sommes allés à ce restaurant pour moi, car une bonne partie de leur menu est sans gluten. J’ai spécifié mon allergie au gluten, je suis coeliaque. Ils m’ont dit que ma poutine allait arriver un peu après les autres puisque les frites sont cuitent à part. Pire expérience à vie, très grosse crise d’allergie, j’ai été malade comme un chien pendant plusieurs jours.
