What a fantastic restaurant! This was our first time visiting Joey's. The resturant has great protocols in place for COVID such as hand sanitizer at the entrance, face shields for staff, plexiglass barriers between tables, and a menu that you view from your phone. The staff were friendly, our waitress Sarah M, was fantastic. She was attentive and provided us with recommendations. The food was well priced and delicious! We had steak entrees (steak fries & fillet mignon) and finished with the apple pie dessert. We are looking forward to our next visit to Joey's! Thank you again!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! Trying to coordinate a family members birthday can be stressful enough as it is, let alone living a few provinces over- and me being the last minute person I 'am doesn't help. I must of called 5 or 6 other restaurants, that some might consider "higher end" but the service I received from Joey Keaston (primarily Silvia) would say otherwise. Right from the beginning everything was expectational to say the least, the patience, personal touch, and the overall warm energy was like no other. They absolutely spoiled my father and kept me in the loop throughout, nice to get pictures of the old man smiling. Keep doing what you're doing everybody!

Lets start with the dirty menus, there was debris all over our three menus, washed my hands after ordering. Was not the experience I have had in the past at this location. Staff were unengaging, made me feel as if I was troubling them by just coming in for dinner. I ordered the lobster ravioli, which was ok at best. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium, it came out quite rare. I tried to wait for the server to come around and ask how the meal was but to my surprise she didn't come back around until every one was pretty much done. Beverages were never topped up or even asked about. I used to frequent this location a few years ago and I thought it was great. After tonight's experience I would rather spend my money elsewhere in the future.

First time dining here and my husband and I absolutely loved it! Our steaks were cooked exactly as we requested and it was so flavorful and juicy there was no need for any steak sauce. The crunchy mashed potatoes were SO GOOD! My favourite part of the meal! Love the simple but delicious menu choices. We were seated immediately and our drinks and food came very quickly. My water was refilled promptly and the servers were very friendly. We will return!

Had the burger week, Stonefruit burger. It was delicious. They allowed me to sub chicken which was nice of them despite of the rush. Service was good as well. Had a 5 ???? experience. Happy.

I visited with good memories of delicious food after a long time. But for today's food, I chewed a chunk of salt on my steak. Steak sushi sauce is salty. The vegetables in the other menu are spoiled. There was no wasabi in sushi, so I asked the employee to do it, but it took a long time. I even brought it to them after I finished eating. Two servers brought four wasabi, two each. Oh, my God. I was offended by the food. So we went to another restaurant. The servers smiled and looked friendly, but they did not receive unfriendly and professional services. I didn't want to tip you for the first time.

Consistent chain restaurant. Service is attentive and staff is knowledgeable. Many of the salads are overdressed so ask for light dressing or dressing on the side. I'm not convinced that there's anything unique enough here for me to make a special trip, but I wouldn't avoid coming here either.

A jagged shard of glass was found mixed in with my ice after receiving very poor service from our server the entire night. Got an apology/"sorry" from the manager on duty after showing her the shard in our glass, but no further accommodations were offered (a drink, dessert, etc.) after almost swallowing a jagged piece of glass on their accord. Could have been much more serious if someone had not pointed it out to me. If my guests and I weren't a group of younger people, and were perhaps an older crowd, the situation would not have been taken as lightly as it was. It's ironic because I used to work at Joeys and we were trained so diligently on the "guest experience" - when what I recieved was anything but that.

I went to joeys Kenastin yesterday with some old friends to catch up, I've never been to joeys before my friends frequent there. we had no reservations thinking we could walk-in but there was a wait we were shocked because it was a Wednesday. We were told by the host it was wine Wednesday and thats why they were so busy we waited about 10-15 minutes out of our 20 minute quote time and it went by quickly we had sparkling wine and we chatted with the host about what wine I should order he had some great recommendations and I loved the white wine qadri pinot Grigio he recommended. Our server was quick friendly and made no mistakes. She checked in lots to ensure everything was perfect and really seemed to care. It was also very interesting that different people came to our table to drop off food or drink clear table etc, they all seemed on the ball. The food was perfect, my beach salad was to die for! Overall my experience was lovely. Next time I'm in town I'll be back!

Great atmosphere! Hosts offer good customer service and always strive to go above and beyond. The food was also really delicious. I like the fact that they had a wide array of cuisines presented on their menu and from the few we sampled, I can tell that the team is devoted to excellence! If you have a sophisticated palate you may especially enjoy this restaurant. Highly recommend.

There was a dog that ate from the same plates we eat. I don't let my own dog eat off of our plates, i was pretty disgusted watching it happen at a restaurant i usually enjoy going to. Very disappointed. Thank you for your response, we fully agree that service animals should be allowed on restaurants and patio's. If this indeed was a service animal, to avoid confusion from other restaurant guests, in the future you should insists the animal is properly identified as a service animal. From the picture you can see that the dog was not identified. Furthermore, they should not be eating restaurant food, on restaurant plates, on the floor. As my review stated the dog eating off of restaurant plates is what disgusted me.

had a really good time... until i got the bill. look im not a cheapskate, im not opposed to spending a relatively large amount of money on eating out. but if I knew I was going to spend $80 on a basic meal (tofu with nan and a burger), I would've went somewhere better than joey's. only gave more than one star because, disregarding the agregious price for standard (and honestly pretty mediocre) food products, it is a decent establishments with which i have no other complaints. all in all, only eat here if you have too much money to spend. there are classier resaraunts in the city which charge about the same price and serve better food with better customer service.

Excellent food! The Ahi tuna burger was amazing. Great service, our waitress was very attentive. The bar area is awesome where you can watch pretty much any game that is on. Definetly coming back. Gotta get here on happy hour next time.

Great restaurant with a wide selection wines and beers of local and international origin. The menu itself is quite extensive and will most likely cater to those looking for a less run of the mill culinary experience. Pandemic protocols are in place with each table sectioned off with plexiglass. This does not affect the service however, which is as friendly and prompt as usual. You may require an reservation if you wish to eat out on the patio but was not required for the lounge or indoor dining area when we dined last.

Had dinner at Joey Kenaston on August 8, 2021. As usual food was good. Joey Kenaston does not require staff or customers to wear masks. We asked our server to use a mask, which he did. To me, wearing a mask in a public place is very important. For this reason, I gave Joey Kenaston one star. Manitoba's chief provincial public health officer recently wrote that he will continue wearing a mask in indoor public places, and so will I.

I have always loved Joey Kenaston for the food, service and professionalism! However, while visiting for lunch with my daughters and elderly mother on August 24th, I was very disappointed to see that employees were not wearing masks. We recently visited Earls St. Vital and The Keg on McGillivray as well where all employees were wearing masks so assumed Joey would be as well. In a world of non-vaccinated, asymptomatic people, I did not feel comfortable at all. I think the restaurant industry of all industries who deal with people and food all day should be more professional in this regard. Just my opinion. I will definitely double check before I visit any restaurants from now on. My fault for assuming a great restaurant like Joey would not value their customers health like other restaurants do.

I usually enjoy eating in here. But today I picked up an order and it was not up to par at all... the starter caesar salad for example had barely any dressing and the dirty ends of the lettuce heads. I guess they figure they will give the scraps in the take out orders.

My partner and I have been going to Joey’s for many years. We haven’t been able to go due to the restrictions in place but now with the patio opened we decided to go back. The food was great, however our issue is with the fact that they changed their policy on drink refills without saying anything. They’re charging $4 for a soda, which is all ice and barley any drink. My partner finished hers after 2-3 sips and they were quick to replace it without asking her. By time the bill came we were shocked to see we were charged $20 for drinks. Drink refills use to be free, now they’re charging $4 for what’s basically a glass full of ice and a splash of soda. We were both not impressed, it’d would’ve been nice if they mentioned the change in policy or if they didn’t load the glasses with ice in the first place as we probably would’ve only drank one glass each. I gave 2 stars and that’s only because the food was good however it’s safe to say that we will not be returning.

This was one of the best restuarants I have ever been to...Katie are server went above and beyond...and there team service orientation fosters such a great environment. I had the Spaghetti Promodda and it was the meal that you want to eat slowly and savour every flavour...it is the meal you hope never ends. We were encouraged to stay and relax and Katie engaged in conversation and get to know us. The restuarant management obviously trusts their staff and encourages them to spend time with customers. I love supporting businesses that encourage their staff to be who they are. BEYOND AMAZING! I am from out of town and this place made me feel welcomed and valued.

Came around 2:30pm on Sunday, they weren’t busy as we were seated asap on the patio as their indoor dining was closed. Waited 30 minutes giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were just clearing tables before serving us, but all the while no server acknowledged us. One of the servers actually paused and looked to around the patio to I assume see if everyone was being served. I waived but he didn’t see it. At this point we were wondering if we had to go up to the outdoor bar to order but at this point we were annoyed so we left. TLDR; Sat down for 30 mins without a single server acknowledging us, didn’t serve water or anything.

Another night of great food and service at Joeys Kenaston. Front door staff was extremely welcoming, the process of checking QR code’s was quick and efficient, we were seated very quickly. We have been enjoying joeys kenaston once a week for several years and have never had a bad meal or negative experience with food or staff. We often take friends and family there because we are guaranteed to have a great experience.

I was part of a group of 4 celebrating a friends birthday. We all had ordered and my steak arrived not cooked enough. I asked the server to have it cooked a little longer and I was given a new steak cooked to perfection. Not only did they immediately remedy the situation they told me that the cost of my meal would not be added to the group bill. I have dined 30+ times between the kenaston and polo locations. Every single time service has been great, food has been consistently good and wait time has been short. Highly recommend.
