Great hosts!! Husband -wife duo.. very intimate and cozy ambience. They were very gracious and accommodating!! Each dish is a surprise and you don't know what's on the menu for that evening. They ask for any dietary restrictions when you book. You should book in advance. It's a small, quaint restaurant and not too many tables. They offer great wine pairings too. Great tasting dishes!

Magical. Beaujena's is not just a place to have a fancy dinner. It's an experience. Their food and service will take you on a journey that you would never have expected. Each dish was beyond amazing. The setting was clean and very nice. And Beaujena's service went above and beyond. We were already having a wonderful experience before I proposed to my now fiance. It became even more magical afterwards thanks to Beaujena and her husband. After our first time there, we have already become raving fans. Thank you, Beaujena's.

Well, as I find in Winnipeg over and over, fancy doesn't mean better. Service was good. Not sure the 15% gratitude was adequate as overall price was very high. You should pay what you feel right, not percentage of overpriced food. 7 course meal with ridiculously small portions. The food was OK but nothing special. We got explanation about the special ingredients but it did not translate to a better taste. Way too expensive for what I ate (and I had a coupon). This is a repeating them in Winnipeg’s high end/special/fancy restaurants. Going back to the simple/predicted or oriental foods.

This is our second time here, this is such a fun place! Going in, eating an amazing seven-course mystery meal, paired with wonderful wines. We enjoyed trying to guess what the courses all consisted of, and most of the time we were way off. Highly recommend this place to anyone, guaranteed you can't go wrong, unless you are a picky eater who hates surprises.

I am a regular at Beaujena's and I frequently recommend this restaurant to friends and family. I have brought many a guest for their first surprise dinner and hope it is never their last. Beaujana and Randy welcome you into their "home" and you feel so comfortable there. If you allow yourself, you will have a dining experience like no other. Take the 4-4.5 hours and truly enjoy yourself and turn off all of your cares. Experience the 7 courses with the recommended wines. Randy is truly improving his game every month, the menu is more delightful each month I visit. They are only opened Fridays and Saturdays, reservations recommended. What is an emotional time stop - it is a special activity you do occasionally and truly let time slow to a stop for you so you can really savour every moment. This is what Beaujena's French Table is to me.

It is just a relaxed environment. You get the table for the entire night. It is quiet. You and your friends can actually have a conversation without having to yell. You can order either the five or seven course meal. Order the seven. Just do it. It is worth it. The food is Cooked so well, that even foods I would not normally eat, I ate. One of the best hidden gems in the city.

We came to Beaujena's on a whim for my wife's birthday, and are incredibly happy with our choice. From the moment we walked in the door, Beaujena and Randy were friendly and attentive. Everything, from the food to the wine pairings to the service to the atmosphere made this a very special experience. We loved our first time here, and hope to come back again.

This is a marvelous place to come for a very long dinner, especially one where you're catching up with friends and family. The food is delicious and the wine pairings are well chosen. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and informative. It's a husband and wife team who run the restaurant for fun on weekends, changing the menu every month. My one comment is on sequence of dishes, as there were two very salty dishes in a row that left a less than yummy impression. Otherwise the team catered wonderfully to our special requests: we had a pescatarian and a non-gluten person in our group who were well looked after.

One of our favourite date night spots, Beaujena's is an experience like nothing else. They offer 7-course "blind" tasting menus, and guessing what you are eating is part of the fun. My husband and I have been multiple times and always leave tasting something we've never tried before. I 100% recommend this charming little restaurant run by lovely couple.

Went Friday to take our great niece and nephew for their university grad dinner. Beaujana and Randy are stellar hosts. We had the 7 course dinner and wine pairing. Randy is a excellent chef and we all enjoyed every bite. We also had Beaujanas signature cocktail of Cava and Port. Delish. We even had 2. Lovely little French Bistro in a quiet St. Boniface neighbourhood. Good street parking and bus route. For many years went every month for the monthly new menu. Open only Fri and Sat. Highly recommended. We won't take as long to go back.

My partner and I have really enjoyed each visit to Beaujena's and we've been about five times so far. It's such an original dining experience. The food is always creative and delicious, and the personal service from Beaujena makes you feel like you're a friend in her home and not just a customer in her restaurant. I reccomend this place for a romantic dinner or an intimate family dinner. Due to the small size of the room I do not suggest it for large groups. Please note this restaurant is not one for picky eaters who want to customize their meal, frugal people on a budget, or people in a rush. This place is for foodies, and people who want an original and high end dining experience.

Definitely a different dining experience! The wine pairings are a must. They really did compliment each dish perfectly and were well worth it. There were two dishes we did not care for at all but that is to be expected with any tasting menu. I would not recommend their house cocktail to start off, it was not good. I think the restaurant itself has seen better days. Maybe a renovation would improve the ambiance. Despite that, Beaujena does a wonderful job explaining each wine and each dish as they are presented. All around an enjoyable experience.

Fabulous experience. It's so nice to go for a night out that was so totally relaxing and yet the 3 hours went by so quickly. The 7 courses served were all different and delicious. Not too little and not too much. The wine pairings went very well with each course. And the conversation afterwards learning the ingredients of each course were so informative and gave you ideas for your own future meals. And...the dessert was the piece- de- resistance along with the port. Highly recommend and will return.

The entire experience at Beaujena’s was incredible. The food was fresh, beautiful looking, creative, and delicious. The wine pairings were absolutely perfect. However, the best part was the unique nature of the restaurant. Sitting there guessing about what you were eating really enhanced the night as it made you pay that much closer attention to the fantastic flavors. Beaujena herself was the ultimate host, as she was knowledgeable and passionate about both her food, the wine, and her business. We can’t wait until our next evening at Beaujena’s.
