We celebrated our anniversary here and the meal did not disappoint. The seafood fideua was certainly the highlight of the evening with the lobster tagliatelle coming a close second. The cocktails were fantastic (Pears Nicely and Mullite over). Ambiance was nice and the Covid inspired glass dividers between the tables were tasteful and you could not hear your neighbors which was awesome as the restaurant was full! Service was prompt and professional.

We had an excellent dinner at The Beach Pea. The seafood chowder, veggie hummus, pasta alla Norma (v), duck breast and custard dessert were all very delicious and well prepared. They have also a good tap beer selection. C$100 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 1 soft drink, 1 small beer and 1 espresso. Nice interior, clean washrooms.

Have been here 3 times. Each time has been a good experience. The food is generally very good as well as their drinks. Even there is espresso was decent which is fairly unexpected for a restaurant. Interior is nice the only thing that isn't great is its very loud as its a small space with all hard surfaces and the kitchen is open to the dining area.

We got a bunch of things but my favourite one was the rabbit risotto and it's worth going back even just for that. Grilled octopus was great as well. The panna cotta was overwhelmed with rhubarb's bitterness and definitely needed another sweet component (or just more sugar in the yogurt). Tried both tartares on the menu and they were decent.

This restaurant is a gem. Cocktail, starter, main, dessert and even a coffee, top to bottom were all well conceived and deftly executed, and the finest details were all done in-house and with great results. The fideuá was one of the best things I've eaten in a very long time, and the orange ice cream in their "chocolate" dessert was especially outstanding, and was just the star of a really good dish overall that wasn't too sweet (even the ice cream), and had good textural balance. It made my coffee taste better. The room is cosy and gains ambience as the sun sets and the lighting takes over. Service was excellent, they read between the lines and went beyond expectations a couple of times through the meal unprompted. Very professional. I am visiting from out of province but will visit the restaurant again without question if I'm back in Lunenburg.

Beautiful atmosphere with a great vibe is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the main course was a decent amount. The desert was ok, but lacking Texture and could use more sweetness. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Best meal in Lunenburg! Beach Pea has filled the hole left by Fleur de Sel closing, and is the go to choice for high quality dining in town now. I haven't had everything, but all their seafood is excellent

Adorable restaurant. I loved the vibe which fit in perfect as a seaside eatery. We had the salted cod fritters which were delish. Both mains ( risotto and pasta) were great but a little on the salty side for me. Would have been a perfect dinner but we found the service to be a bit unfriendly, a warm smile from the server would have been nice. One of our plates had a dirty underside but no apology or acknowledgment

Such warm east coast hospitality and great food. Menu notes many items are sustainably sourced. I'm traveling alone so was eating alone but I was not short on conversation. Between making drinks the bar tender gave me a brief history of the area, some interesting info about NS wine and even a list of recommendations for me to see while on the road. The shrimp aglio e olio was exactly what I'd been craving, flavourful with that peppery bite! The NS white wines was very nice as well. Definitely stop in!

Stopped in for a couple drinks. Just happened to mention to the Australian bartender where we were going next. Imagine our surprise when, 45 minutes later, the same bartender walks into the restaurant we went to next and hands my wife her purse - with nothing missing. You don’t see honesty like that often!

Went here for dinner with my mom tonight. I had the Scallop and rabbit risotto (pictured) and it was to die for! For starters we had calamari and tuna tartare which was so delicious. The service was impeccable with a very cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fresh and high quality food.

This place was busy, but somehow was able to accommodate us at the last moment outside on the adorable heated patio. I’m so grateful bc we had such an enjoyable experience. The cocktails were incredible, and our food took centre stage. The seared scallops blew me away and so did the fresh oysters. I can’t wait to come back!

I was just soo thankfull, when I saw, that they offer a gluten free option for the pasta. And -even better, it tasted just extra ordinary good! We had the lobster pasta and the seafood pasta. Both tasted amazing. The sauce was done with fresh herbs and the ingredience matched perfectly. As desert we had the chocolat mousse, which was a fluffy cloud with little chocolate chunks. Amazing. We will come back!
