DISAPPOINTED..........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today I was at to Mian's Today and It was very very Disappointing We ordered Butter Chicken, Karahi Paneer and Chicken Biryani with side of onions . The Butter Chicken was like Frozen Mac cheese they sell in Walmart no flavour. They call it as signature dish lol. We returned the food and the waiter said we cannot replace it so we said we will pay just take it back and the Karahi Paneer was ok but chicken Biryani was very bad the chicken was not cooked from inside .we called the employee she said was not patient with our complaint and she was not agreeing with us at first and than she decided to give us some discount but I would not recommend Mian's for anyone looking for authentic real Indian food. I went to Mian's quite time ago around last year and things were different and good . It was my birthday and I was paying for my friends with me . It was digusting. Not worth it!

Food was pretty good and the service was decent too. The lunch special is decent price ($10) for what you get. Not sure about the nann bread though. Seems like they are cutting up and deep frying pre-made bread.

Absolutely love this place. We go here a lot and everytime we're not in the mood to try somewhere new with the chance of disappointment we land at Mians and are never disappointed. Always fresh, amazing food. Always sweet and friendly service. Always a great experience. I have to say this place is likely our favorite; it's our go to for a good meal and where we always end up on special occasions. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend it.

Very good and kind service. We have been served immediately and did receive a free sample of the new cinnamon bread creation out of the kitchen. The meals were very delicious. I ordered spicy and got spicy. My girlfriend ordered mild and got a mild dish. Highly recommended. Thank you very much and keep on like that.

Wrost experience ever on any Indian restaurant...me and my friend went there to enjoy our evening..first we were wondering why restaurant is empty.. They brings us food.. we looked at quantity and we amazed.. we ordered full size kadahi paneer there were total four pieces of paneer in it and utensils in which they were serving food were not even full.. then we were waiting for plates we thought they forgot to give us then an intelligent lady told us that they don't provide plate in this restaurant and we laughed...like if you go to any Indian restaurant in the world first thing they will gave you is "PLATES"....this place is hilarious and i would like to suggest this restaurant's owner if you can't increase the quantity of food at least reduce the size of utensils…

We were there on 3 Sept 2021. We ordered lamb karahi, butter chicken and on their recommendation chicken biryani. The biryani was boiled mashed rice with boneless shredded chicken and blant.. Lamb was tasteless old curry tasted more of burned onion Butter chicken was worthless with few chunks of chicken . The fried Naan were from Walmart. Not recommended Don't waste your money The service was pathetic and food was worst.

I ate here for the first time ever and it was a wonderful experience. It is so nice to see a family run business that is adding diversity to the Sydney dining experience. We were visiting Sydney, searched on the internet for the desi food, found Mian’s restaurant with pretty good views on the google map. It was our first time we came to this restaurant. There were no customers in the restaurant except one gentleman waiting to grab his order, I guess. We asked the girl at reception for the dine-in possibility as we wanted to eat-in. She was positive and asked us to grab the table. She didn’t say nothing to us about the masks. Abruptly owner approached our table as we just seated there, and said, “you shouldn’t be entering the restaurant without wearing the masks. You should enter the restaurant door with the masks on as we have put the notice on the door”. He offered us free masks, too. I said that we saw the notice, 100% understand and agree to comply with, however, we wanted to dine-in that was why didn’t wear the masks as entered, explained our perception. But, we, in no way, were reluctant to give in. Despite his rude choice of words, up-to this time, it was okay with us. In spite of our willingness to abide by he kept on lecturing and started teaching us Nova Scotia’s rules on wearing the masks. At this point we deemed it’s enough and just walked out without saying even a word against him or the restaurant and decided not to eat there. What went to our extreme shock which encouraged me to write this review, that he followed us out and creeped up on our car when we were about to leave, enraged at our walkout, just to say “you guys never come to my restaurant again, I was polite and you guys walked out”, to fulfill his revenge. They might be giving good customer service to other people but it is something not for us for sure. Worst experience among all the restaurants visited in Canada, so far. Desired to give zero star rating but no option.

I love the flavor and the spice... but their portions and consistency are unacceptable. They serve roughly 1/4 of a chicken breast (3-4 "boneless" cubes) and charge nearly $20 for a plate of rice. If they weren't the best TASTING Indian food in town, I wouldn't go back here. The lovely waitress who serves my colleagues and I lunch always ensures the portions are acceptable because she understands that it's wrong what they server but if she is not working, it's not worth half of what they charge.

AMAZING. Our experience here has been unforgettable. The moment we stepped into the restaurant it reminded us of home (Pakistan/India). The staff is very friendly, accommodating and welcoming! The Quality of the restaurant has gone downhill over the years. It has been so long since I have felt any kind of South Asian Spice taste in the dishes at the restaurant. Every chicken dish is prepared in a tasteless sauce that doesnt define the true identity of the particular dish. If your Chicken tikka masala tastes like a 'Tomato infused broth' then there is some serious issue with how you guys handle all gravies. Might need to look into how you prepare Indian/Pakistani dishes espècially in a city where there is a rapid rise of new South Asian restaurants offering true to the taste cuisines. The restaurant needs a serious revamp in its dishes.

Menu is way over priced, charging $1 extra for 2 green chili that I asked them to add to my chicken briyani. after couple hours my friend ordered the same thing and asked them to add extra chillis and there were no extra charged for that. I guess they are just trying to overcharge people whenever they feel like. Worst customer service as well, This was my second and last time going there. There are better options in sydney , Swaggat restaurant is way better, everyone should try going there. Even their grocery items are overpriced. Try broadway convenience store for better grocery items.

Overall great impression. Only thing that stopped me from a 5th star was the fact that the online menu doesn't mention that the cinnamon naan bread also is topped with chocolate sauce. Worst food ever eaten. Chef doesn’t know what a Hyderabadi Briyani is. It was very very salty and wasn’t edible to eat. Staff who took our order was very rude and had lack of knowledge about the food which the restaurant is offering. They are preparing random dishes and selling as authentic dishes. When I called them to complain about it, they responded back saying that how we serve it. I have had food over at the restaurant before and i know that’s not the way to serve. I absolutely love Indian cuisine. I was excited to try some in Sydney. I had the Chicken Samosa which was good, the veggie Pakora which was my favorite and the butter chicken, medium heat. The butter chicken was the only thing that let me down. It was very heavy on the cream and almost had the consistency of Queso. Other than that, the customer service was great and the food was good.

Love it! Ate here for the first time this evening. The young girl at the front was very friendly and helped me with picking out something for my wife, who cannot have dairy or gluten. Not many servers in Sydney know how to do this, but she did. The food was delicious even though we got takeout and didn't eat until almost a half hr later. Food is just ok. Terrible naan, they don't have a tandoori oven, so, they give you small piece of fried sweet dough. It was come with our meal, otherwise, I will send them back

Not worth the price or time!!!! Our second day on our east coast tour, we thought we should try Indian, so we came across this restaurant. We ordered one butter chicken combo($16 approx) , karahi combo($15 approx), and cholay bathura($8 approx). It took them 30mins to give the order to find 3 tiny pieces of chicken in a milky gravy. And naan was like pita bread. Karahi was ok and bathura was drenched in oil. When I called the employee was trying to handle the situation but the manger was unpleasant. Didn’t have explaination or did they provide anything.

Worst place to have a meal. Everything here is fake. Hyderabadi biryani consisting of potatoes. Too much salty. And food served in very less quantity for the price mentioned. Honestly even if you don’t know how to cook, your best bet would be buying meat and supplies and seeking YouTube for recipes. You would do much better than this restaurant.
