Honestly, the beat I have had on the road yet. She has been making fish and chips for last 43 years. No wonder you taste the perfection. A must stop when visiting Sydney. Locals are lucky for sure.

I wish I have a picture that I ordered 3 pieces of large fish & chips. They seemed fried advance and refried when I ordered around 4:30pm. Thus, no crispy, too much oil on fish and chips and the chips were almost black color and small pieces. I guess that the owner fried them advance because the closing time was close. Although we ate a few of chips, I had to take digestive medicine and my husband had diarrhea. We travel many countries so far, came from california this time to go Newfoundland and it was the worst fish & chips we had. I hope that the owner has to have better service.

Tasty, crispy fish pieces, although a bit small. Fried clams were quite delicious too - great flavour. Worth checking it out if on the boardwalk.

Great fish. Tasty and lightly breaded. Got there about 1/2 hour before closing time and they announced they were out of fries. Pretty disappointing because you'll see in other reviews that the fries are as good as the fish. Kinda pricey too. I'll say go once, but not close to closing time.

Being an east coaster, sea food is a huge part of our culture. This was the hands down, best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The haddock was so fresh, the batter perfectly golden and crispy, the fries, next level! It seems to be a mom and daughter shop, the mom has been cooking fish and chips for over 40 years! I’ve been going to our cottage in Mira, Cape Breton for 30 years and will now be adding this to the list of must stops for every trip. Amazing!
