Ok. I came here with 0 expectations. Boff, steak house in Boucherville, probably overpriced for some low quality cuts in a mundane overdone setting. First impression was ok, the decor is very typical modern. Some cool bull art on the walls, at the entrance they have a fridge aging different cuts that look amazing. Let the confusion begin. The menu shows some amazing steak house potential but the prices dont exactly fit. Is this expensive garbage???. Or did I find a gem that can rival any great steak house I've ever been to? To put it in perspective... do you like Gibby's? Moishes? This place has the same quality or better at half the price. We were incredibly surprised on how great everything was. My steak was perfection. A beautifully aged cut of beef that was seared to perfection on a charcoal grill none the less. The cook on it was perfect, I mean perfect. A perfect rare with a crispy crust that only a very hot grill and master hand can accomplish. My wife had a tartare and my son had a burger that they both said where delicious... at least I think they did, as I was too consumed by the perfection in my plate. Can't wait to go back... amazing.

Mixed. As someone mentioned before, the place is very loud. Like you don't go there on a date hahahaha. We were a group of 10 during a Saturday evening and the place was almost full. So im no expert at steak house but here are our group observations. Awesome fried calmar and awesome beef tartare in entree. Cut of the steaks we had were very awesome too. But the steaks come without spices (or not enough spices). So you end up with the side sauce saving the experience. So the lost points are : - meat not spicy enough (or is it the standard for a steak house?) - sides like veggies and fries are served on different plates so it feels like an large plate with only one steak and two other small bowls arriving on the table after containing the fries and veggies. I would suggest to have all the stuff in the same plate; it would look more complete and impressive. - water refill happened once during our 3 hours at the place - staff was overloaded. No doubt they were very good but they were a little bit outnumbered. Now, for 140$ for two persons including two steaks, two entrees and one desert, my bar gets pretty high. Even if the experience was good, the place is good looking, staff is great, meat cut is excellent too, I ended up wanting to be more impress for that price range. As a conclusion, I encourage you to go there and give it try I might went there on a bad day too. :)

La serveuse vient mettre de l'eau a 2 personnes, mais oublie les 2 autres. On nous apporte le pain, il goûtait l'huile rance. La serveuse arrive avec la bavette et une sauce béarnaise, ainsi que avec un filet mignon et sauce aux champignons. On lui dit que ce n'est pas là bonne sauce. Elle nous change la sauce, ça ça va. J'ai le temps de manger 90%de mon repas avant de recevoir les frites qui doivent accompagner le repas. Le risotto et l'autre filet mignon arrive en même temps que les frites. Pour l'attente, on a donné deux filets mignons, mais le risotto, rien. Je dois dire que le filet mignon était très bon, le risotto n'est pas très bon, vraiment trop salé. La queue de homard est caoutchouteuse, salé elle goûte le bouillon de poulet trop salé, lorsque la serveuse demande si c'est a notre goût, mon amie lui dit que c'est pas très bon;. Réponse de la serveuse" Ben c'est ca un risotto". Mon amie a pris 3-4 bouchés et la laisser là. Aucune proposition de changement. Malgré tout a 20:00 la serveuse vient nous voir et nous demande de payer et de partir, car ils ont besoin de la table, pour le deuxième service, mais on ne nous l'avait pas mentionné lors de la réservation, nous n'avons même pas terminé le vin. Je suis un peu fâchée de me faire bousculer. Je demande aux clients a côté de moi, eux on demandé un réchaud de café et la serveuse leur a dit non, car ils doivent quitter pour le deuxième service. Je ne recommande vraiment pas ce resto, pour relaxer, c'est bruillant, et on doit aller vite pour libérer.

(because no name on the invoice!) did not know that there was no more octopus (a lot servers so it's true that getting the information out is difficult!) same thing about knowing the wine list (5 paperback sheets it's pretty hard to do worse!) so here is the input command salmon tartare ($ 12) for madam (passable without more) me a cocktail of grilled shrimps ($ 10) that's really sad, 2 shrimps in a glass on 2 pieces of red cabbage with 1 tablespoon of Heinz Seafood Sauce. the last times have been hard for restaurateurs but from there to cut the portions it's sad! a Caesar salad swimming in vinaigrette ($ 7) and that was the healthy portion in my opinion from the portion size! Our main course was the 8 oz filet mignon. fillet cut through the thickness of the piece, as if it was 4 oz. it was good (hard enough not to be tender) on our plate we had ... 1 Nantes carrot cut lengthwise to make 2, 1 broccoli and cauliflower florets to freeze depending on appearance and firmness, a 1/8 cob of corn that seemed old to roast the frozen green beans too but many, we also ordered the Monte-Carlo potato ($ 4) there it is really a stuffing, half a potato gratin c is what we received. I forgot the basket of bread a half-baquette cut for 4 because we were 2 couples the first service well, we asked for more this time quite steep, we did not repeat the request for fear of losing our teeth. (car pas de nom sur la facture !) ne savait pas qu'il n'y avait plus de pieuvre (beaucoup de serveurs donc c'est vrai que faire circuler l'info c'est difficile !) même chose a propos de connaitre la carte des vins (5 feuilles broché c'est pas mal dur de faire pire !) alors voici la commande en entrée de tartare de saumon (12$) pour madame (passable sans plus) moi un cocktail de crevettes grillées (10$) là ça c'est vraiment triste, 2 crevettes dans un verre sur 2 morceaux de chou rouge avec 1 cuillère à soupe de sauce aux fruits de mer Heinz. les derniers temps ont été durs pour les restaurateurs mais à partir de là pour couper les portions c'est triste ! une salade César nageant en vinaigrette (7$) et c'était la portion diététique à mon avis à voir la taille de la portion ! Le plat principal que nous avions choisi était le filet mignon de 8 onces. filet coupé à travers l'épaisseur de la pièce, comme s'il faisait 4 oz. c'était bon (assez dur pour ne pas être tendre) dans notre assiette nous avions... 1 carotte nantaise coupée dans le sens de la longueur pour faire 2, 1 fleurons de brocoli et chou-fleur à congeler selon aspect et fermeté, un 1/8 épi de maïs qui semblait vieux pour rôtir les haricots verts surgelés aussi mais nombreux, nous avons aussi commandé la pomme de terre Monte-Carlo (4$) là c'est vraiment une farce, une demi pomme de terre gratinée c'est ce que nous avons reçu. J'ai oublié le panier de pain une demi-baquette coupée pour 4 car nous étions 2 couples le premier service bien, nous avons demandé plus cette fois assez raide, nous n'avons pas refait la demande de peur de perdre nos dents. Pour 2 personnes l'expérience coûte 140,00$ avant taxes et pourboire. Alors pour revenir à la question, est-ce que je recommande ce restaurant... pas vraiment ! Puis-je leur donner une seconde chance à ce prix (140,00$ / 2 pers.) oui si je n'ai pas d'autre choix à Longueuil. c'est triste comme bilan mais c'est la vérité.

I felt like the staff was under stress and didn't have the time to offer attentive service. If you are looking for a restaurant to bring your wine for a group this is a place to consider but for a romantic evening on the weekend go your way. (Original) Ambiance extrêmement bruyant pour le souper. Le menus est simple avec bonne sélection. Il y a deux service. Si vous ne voulez pas vous sentir pressé prendre le deuxième service normalement à 20h pour le souper. Quand je suis aller il y avait beaucoup de groupe alors le service de la cuisine était un peu lent. La nourriture était ok rien d’exceptionnel. La serveuse que nous avons eu était très amical et professionnel malgré la grosse soirée. J'avais l'impression que le personnel était sur le stress et n'avait pas le temps d’offrir un service attentionnée. Si vous chercher un resto apporter votre vin pour un groupe c'est une endroit à envisager mais pour une soirée en amoureux le week-end passer votre chemin.

Best steakhouse !!! The food is just delicious, i went there numerous time and never been disappointed by no dish, even the portuguese chicken and the burger are amazing. The only downside is the vegetables that arent special but who even cares ! Try the 1855 salad its so tasty! The octopus is one of a kind and any piece of meat wont disappoint you. Enjoy!

My husband made reservations for my birthday on New Years Eve. There were 2 couples total. Our food was fantastic as well as the service until the end of our meal. 3 of us wanted to box up our leftovers, our server bought out 3 to go tins and proceeded to pack them up. Mine would have been the last to box. I had ordered a piece of cheesecake to go and so our server had went to box that up. It was at that time I noticed I hadn't gotten my to go box. We asked our server upon returning what she had done with it and were told "I'm sorry I thought you were through with the rest as it was stacked up." It wasn't stacked but handed to her separately on top of that she brought out 3 tins for a reason. Her way of making this "right" was to offer us not to have to pay for the cheesecake.....I would also like to add that she knew our friends were paying for the cheesecake since it was my birthday so taking it off of their bill didn't do us any favors (and yes she was aware of this). Very disappointed with how she tried to make things right when half of my dinner was thrown out.

Menu axé sur les viandes principalement, plusieurs choix et coupes proposées. Menu limité si vous n'aimez pas le boeuf, il y a du poulet et fruits de mer également à la carte. We received two plates out of four and the sauces were not even those ordered and without the fries that had to come with. The risotto was very salty and the lobster tail tasteless and with a rubbery texture. The person ate nothing from his plate and when the waitress asked us if everything was to our liking, she had no empathy when we told her that it was not very good. And last but not least, we were quickly brought the invoice, then once paid we were told to vacate the table for the second service, while we still had wine in our glasses. The next table was refused to heat up his coffee for the same reason. In short, a restaurant to remember ... especially to remember never to return. (Original) Expérience très frustrante et choquante. Nous étions deux couples avec comme commandes 3 steak et un risotto au homard. On a reçu deux assiettes sur quatre et les sauces n'étaient même pas celles commandées et sans les frites qui devaient venir avec. Les deux autres n'étaient même pas commencées et on les a reçu un bon dix minutes après. Les trois frites ne sont arrivées qu'après, une fois les deux premières assiettes pratiquement finies. Le risotto était très salé et la queue de homard sans goût et avec une texture caoutchouteuse. La personne n'a rien mangé de son assiette et quand la serveuse nous a demandé si tout était à notre goût, aucune empathie de celle-ci quand on lui a dit que ce n'était pas très bon. Et le comble de tout, on nous a rapidement apporté la facture, puis une fois payé on nous a dit de libérer la table pour le second service, alors qu'on avait encore du vin dans nos coupes. La table d'à côté s'est fait refusé de réchauffer son café pour la même raison. Bref, un resto à retenir ... surtout pour se rappeler de plus jamais y revenir.

We went for dinner to enjoy a steak! We ordered the Tomahawk steak and asked for it to be cooked “medium”! It came very RARE!!! When we told them it was rare, we were told that the chef knows what he is doing and that the restaurant is always full! They put the steak back on the grill and brought it back as a pile of steak pieces on a plate! Seems that a steakhouse should know how to prepare a steak... especially when you are paying 100$ for it!!! There are much better Steakhouses elsewhere! Don’t waste your money!!!
